Those Who Have Served: OtakuBoards Staff Timeline

The following OtakuBoards staff timeline has been compiled based on the Internet Archive, private message dates, and accounts remaining in the staff forum.  Some dates (especially earlier ones) when traces could not be documented in the staff forum, are approximate dates. 

Some forums have changed their names and positions over the years.  Here is a brief list of notes to clarify where some members worked:

•  Tokyo 3/Anime & Manga was the anime/manga category, now known as Entertainment.
• Hardwired was the gaming category previous to it being merged into Arts & Entertainment, and Play It was the forum now known as Hardwired. This is why Charles was able to be promoted to Category Moderator of Hardwired but later resigns from being Moderator of Hardwired.
• PC/Mac was merged into Play It during the removal of the Hardwired category, to form the new Hardwired forum. As such, the two forums’ moderators were both moved to modding the new forum.
• The Prefecture/Arts & Entertainment was the misc. category, now known as Community.
• The Arena was the roleplaying category, now known as Creative Works.
• Before the dissolving of teams the title Team Leader of Team _____ was used for category moderators, but to avoid confusion this isn’t reflected in the list.

Staff Timeline

• Charles rejoins the staff yet again as the Otakupedia Curator (03-31-07)

• Phenom becomes a Moderator of Hardwired (02-25-07 )

• Panda becomes the new Category Moderator of Arts and Entertainment (02-24-07)

• Stuart demoted from Category Moderator of Arts & Entertainment and Charles resigns from Moderator of Hardwired (02-24-07)

• With the Nifty Fifty over, Shy transfers power to White and resigns from Event Master (02-15-07)

• White becomes Event Master (through Otaku Idol 2 contest) (01-13-07 )

•  White becomes a Moderator of Play It (09-02-06)

•  Charles is promoted to CATegory Moderator of Hardwired (09-02-06)

•  Blayze, Ezekiel, and Sandy become Moderators of Adventure Square (06-29-06)
