The sixth is in the Arctic, and is guarded by Beelzemon Blast Mode. Don't worry about the tempuature. I can handle that. (He opens a portal and does a little extra work. They all enter the portal, and emerge in the Arctic in full winter gear) Kyle: What the heck? David: It has to do with the nature of the portals and the digital world. It's rather technical, and we don't have the time. (He points to a cave in a nearby mountain) that's where it is. Let's go.

(The dark version of David(DDavid) is in a secret base with a lot of machienery. Several others are working at various computer terminals. DDavid: I recommend that we activate the energy backup. there is a 95% chance that doing so will result in the subject bypassing the highest level of Digivolution, and a 75% chance that the subject will be unable to resist anymore. I?ll admit, I didn?t plan on him finding the Digimental of Darkness, but that only helped him accomplish the tasks I had him do.? Alice was shocked. With that, he became Anubismon. "Now, who's first?" I can't fight Adrian, Alice thought. I can't. Takato, however, was ready to fight. "You won't take me without a fight!" he yelled. "Biomerge activate!" Guilmon biomerge to: Gallantmon "Shield of the Just!" Gallantmon fired a powerful energy beam at Anubismon, who countered with his own attack. "Pyramid Power!" He launched a pyramid-shaped energy blast at Gallantmon's attack. The attacks met it midair and caused an explosion. When the smoke cleared, Anubismon was nowhere to be seen. "Where are you?" Gallantmon said. "Up here,? Anubismon said from above Gallantmon. "Amemit!" Gallantmon was hit with a barrage of energy balls. Anubismon landed and laughed. "Are you done yet? This isn't any fun," he said. "Never! Shield of the Just!" This time the attack connected, sending Anubismon flying across the room and into the wall. "I guess you've got some fight in you after all," Anubismon said. "But it doesn't matter. You won't win." "Wanna bet?" Gallantmon replied. "Lightning Joust!" he charged at Anubismon, and attacked with his lance. Anubismon leapt over Gallantmon, avoiding the attack. "Pathetic," he said. "Pyramid power!" his attack sent Gallantmon into the wall. "Come on, Gallantmon," he said. "Surely you can do better. This is too easy." ?I'm not done yet!" Gallantmon yelled. "Lightning Joust!" Gallantmon's attack had the same result. Anubismon leapt over Gallantmon and attacked, sending him flying into the wall. "Come on," Anubismon said. "Are you even trying?" ?I?m just getting started,? The battle was really taking its toll on him. ?You really are a glutton for punishment,? Anubismon said. ?But I think you?re about finished. Pyramid Power!? Anubismon?s attack sent Gallantmon flying into the wall near the scepter. Gallantmon separated into Guilmon and Takato, who collapsed to the ground, Takato landing right next to the scepter. ?Time?s up,? Anubismon said. ?Don?t, Adrian,? Alice said. ?Don?t do it.? ?And why not?? Anubismon said. ?Alice,? Takato said weakly. ?Alice, fight him.? ?I can?t,? Alice said. ?I can?t fight him. I won?t.? Takato knew that she wouldn?t change her mind, so he reached for the scepter, thinking that he would use it to defeat Anubismon. ?Don?t,? Alice said. ?If you grab it, he?ll control you, just like he did the Overlord.? ?Then fight him, Alice,? Takato said. ?No,? Alice responded. ?Not him. Something else.? She became Kuzuhamon, and turned toward the scepter. Takato saw what she was doing, and managed to roll out of the way. ?Spirit Strike!? Kuzuhamon launched her attack at the scepter. When the attack hit, the scepter dissipated. She became Alice, and turned around to face Anubismon. She was surprised to see Adrian on the ground, breathing hard. ?Alice,? He said. ?Alice, I?m sorry." Everyone had returned to the Tamer?s base. Alice, Henry, and Takato were talking to Adrian, who was explaining what happened. ?Let me get this straight,? Henry said. ?For the Juggernaut program to work correctly, organic material from someone had to be placed in the scepter, and you volunteered. But something went wrong, and you went completely nuts.? ?Correct,? Adrian said. ?I don?t know what happened, but I think it has something to do with the fact that I was created from data.? ?What?!? Takato and Henry exclaimed. ?Dolphin created Alice and I from computer data, just like Digimon. That?s why we can become Digimon. At least, that?s how it happened here.? ?That?s how it happened in our world too,? Alice said. ?Anyways,? Adrian continued, ?I believe that the effect the procedure had on me is also related to the change I made in the program. I modified the Juggernaut program slightly, creating a dimensional instability in the area around the program, and it?s possible that the changes I made had unforeseeable effects.? ?Why did you change the program?? Henry asked. ?Why did you want to create a dimensional instability?? ?So that dimensional portals would form easier. I needed someone from the dimension these two are from to come here, because I have something that I need to tell them.? ?What?? Takato and Alice asked. ?When Alice sacrificed herself and I loaded her data, there were some rather bizarre side effects. I experienced visions, and heard advice. The visions were of events that concerned the D-Reaper, and when they began occurring, I figured that I should bring someone here to tell them what I heard. Maybe there is! (To Teth) Teth, push the F2 key on my laptop, then the F4 key. (Teth pushes the keys. A white bar appears on the screeen) Tell me if the bar changes colors. Teth: Why? Gcm: You're monitoring the connection between me and Frankie. if anything major happens to her partner, it will come to me through the connection, which will cause a change in the magnitude of the connection. It's a way to test a theroy.

(The scanning process complete, David turns around to see Minarmon loseing to Kuzuhamon) David: Oh, crap. She's back. And it looks like I need to help Teth. I never thought I'd help him. Activate! (He becomes Gcm) Gcm: Kuzuhamon, stop this! (Kuzuhamon turns to face Gcm as Minarmon turns back into Teth) Kuzuhamon: Why? There's no reason to. Gcm: I can't believe this! Why would you hurt your partner? Kuzuhamon: I told you. I don't have a partner. Gcm: Of course you... wait. Maybe you don't. (To himself) If she doesn't have a partner, then she's not who we thought she was. That means that Renamon's somewhere else, which means that I don't have to worry about hurting this one. (To Kuzuhamon) I know your secret, and now there's nothing holding me back!

David: I believe that Sphrin is currently affected by some unknown force. The symptoms are remarkably similar to what I once experianced. It felt like there was someone else in me, but it stopped about a year ago. Oh, sorry. Six years ago. It's hard to get used to the fact that I've been out for five years. Anyways, it's possible that the same thing is happening to Sphrin, and probable that this other me is the person who was in my head. We should-(He stiffens for a moment) Jake: Not again. (David shakes his head) David: MAJOR problem! Jake: What? David: This other me is the one who convinced S@bermon to find the stone. I don't know why, but he's oviously tired of waiting for S@bermon to fully master the stone. He's pushing S@bermon along. He sent a Digimon to attack S@bermon, forceing S@bermon to use the stone. Time is running out fast. We need to sort out Sphrin's problem now.

(The scanning program is running. A meter on the computer screen indicates the percent of the process that is completed. It is currently halfway through) Teth: I wish that computer would hurry up. David looks like a freakin' zombie. (Kuzuhamon reappears) Oh, ****. Here we go. (He becomes Minarmon) Minarmon: Why are you back? Kuzuhamon: I'm here to destroy you. Minarmon: Not without a fight. (To himself) Come on, you stupid computer. Hurry pu.

Jake: Any idea what's causing the problem? Sphrin: No. David: Hold on. I might have an awnser. (He stiffens for a moment) Kyle: Not again (David shakes his head) David: Guys, we've got a problem. Kyle: What? David: I didn't learn anything about Sphrin by forceing a connection, but I did learn whose point of view I've been seeing things from when I saw his reflection. It's me. An exact duplicate of me.

(David takes out his laptop, attaches Sprindell's stone, and locates the connection to Sphrin) Jake: What are you doing? David: Useing the same trick I did when I woke up. This stone is connected to Sphrin. I've located the connection, and i'm going to open a portal along it. It will take us straight to Sphrin. (He opens the portal) Portal open. Jake: Then let's go. Kyle: I'm ready. David: everybody hold on to me. (They grab David, who activates the portal. They appear in front of Sphrin) Hi. Again.

(Gcm becomes David again) David: Teth, be ready. Kuzuhamon might come back. I'm going to try to reach Frankie. Teth: How? David: She and I are connected somehow. If I can find the connection, we can use it to find Frankie. Teth: How will you find the connection? David: By scanning myself. You'll be on your own until the scan is completed. Can you handle it? Teth: Of course. David: Good. (he attaches a complicated-looking device to his laptop, and activates the scaning program)

(Kuzuhamon appears) Gcm: Stop right there! You aren't coming any closer! Kuzuhamon: I don't think you can stop me. Gcm: I can't believe you'd fight me. not after what we've been through Kuzuhamon: None of that matters. Gcm: Snap out of it, damn it! Can't you see that we're you're friends? Kuzuhamon: Friends? I have no friends. Gcm: I can't believe you'd hurt me, and there's no way that you'd hurt Frankie. Kuzuhamon: Why wouldn't I? Gcm: Frankie's your partner. Don't you remember?

David: Frankie, I don't want to do this, but we have to fight her. Frankie: I don't know... David: We don't have a choice. Frankie: Are you sure about this? David: I realize how hard this must be, but she's not herself right now. Don't worry. I'll try not to hurt her too much. Activate! (He became Gcm) Gcm: Time to fight.

(The mysterious figure has followed S@bermon unseen. When S@bermon reenters the cave, the figure speeks to him) Figure: You're doing well, S@bermon. You only have a little more to learn.
