(Karanlik draws power from the darkness to block Lou?s attack) Karanlik: Asa, Matt, Rokuki, distract those Corrupts. Austin, you?re with me. If I?m wrong, we?re all dead, but if I?m right, those corrupts will wish they?d never met us. (Karanlik hides himself and Austin from view) Austin: What did you do? Karanlik: It?s dark here, so I?m stronger. I can do things like what I just did. They can?t see us now. Come on. (He and Austin run toward where the crystal is) Grab it. (Austin grabs the crystal) They were too slow. Now, put the crystal here. (He indicates a crystal-shaped slot in the ground. Austin puts the crystal there. A large war hammer appears beside him. It?s about the same size as the one Austin has, but fancier. On the head is the word Ziamia. Austin takes the crystal out of the slot) i was right. Put the crystal in one of the slots on the new hammer. (Austin does so) Now pick it up. (Austing grabs the hammer) You now hold the weapon called Ziamia. It?s one of the weapons I mentioned back at the base. This one?s yours. Austin: It feels... it feels right, somehow. I don?t understand it. Karanlik: As I just said, this weapon is yours. Eventually, we?ll all have weapons like it. The corrupts, too, unfortunately. The crystals make them stronger, but even without them, these weapons are extreamly powerful. Right now, you can use that weapon can take care of the Corrupts by yourself. If Shiro, who I think has the missing weapon, was here, we?d already be dead. Austin: So, you want me to use this weapon to beat the Corrupts? Karanlik: Yes. The knowledge of how to use it should come naturally. I won?t be able to hide you from sight once you start fighting, so be quick. Attack before they can react, and you?ll win without a problem. --------------------------------- OOC: For those of you who were not in the origional Elemental Sheres, these weapons were in that one. I?m not making them up, just reintroducing them. Everyone gets one, including the corrupts. Each weapon is hidden in the area where the crystal that goes with it(Earth weapon by the earth crystal, for example) is.

If you want a pet, tat's fine, but it has to be a creature that does exist.
-
Sorry, but only one creature per person. And none of these creatures exist on their own anymore, so you can't have one with you.

(David comes up behind DSlade and hits the spot, causing the armor to dissapear. DDavid dose the same to DMalsek) DMalsek: What are you doing?! DDavid: Don't you understand? We're the duplicates, not them. DSlade: I can't believe that. DAngel: Well, I do. DKatt: So do I. (Several Phantomon appear) David: Shit! He's found us already! DDavid: Who? David: No time to explain now. We need to get out of here. DDavid: I know a safe location. David: Good. Hold them off, people! (DKatt and DAngel reactivate their armor, as do the origionals. They attack the Phantomon as the two Davids work on opening a portal to a safe location)

Karanlik: Mika, come here. (Mika walks over to where Karanlik is) Do you know someoney the name of Amber? Because there's an Amber as one of the sphere holders fifty years ago, and she looks a lot like you. Mika: She's my mother. Karanlik: Oh. Well, I guess I shouldn't have expected that I would be the only one. Mika: What do you mean? Karanlik: You've read what happened fifty years ago, right? Mika: Yes. Karanlik: Then you read about David and Halo Tanelli. You know that they are brother and sister. Well, David's my father, and Halo's my aunt. Mika: Oh. Karanlik: THere's a lot about Shiro in here, too. He was fighting you earlier. Fifty years ago, he had two swords called the Einlizers. David had two poles called the Arigias. They were very powerful weapons, and they gained even more power as the crystals were inserted. The Arigias could share that power, allowing all of the weapons to be at full power at the same time. The rest of the people had weapons, too, but the names aren't here. All of the weapons were hidden with the crystals after the events fifty years ago, except for one. I don't know which one, ecause the data is missing. The last update was made last month-dad frequently left on trips, and I think he was coming here sometimes. He's the one who had this place built, and he obviously wants to keep it operational. But the database was accessed two days ago, and some of the information was erased. It wasn't dad, because he was home all day. So, someone else got in somehow. Someone who doesn't want us to know something. I can probably recover the erased material, ut that would take a very long time, and I don't think we have that much time. We need to find the crystals and get the Light Sphere before the corrupts do. THere's no telling what will happen if they get it first. Give me a few minutes, and I should have the crystal locations.

THere are a few more creatures, but I've been thinking, and I've decided that the story will work better with two per creature. So, the rules are changed. Two people per creature.

You changed it! Well, I guess I'm fine with that, but only if you keep the plot twist that happened right before you stopped the first time. I must know what happens! -
Even though abillities may be obvious, I still need you to tell me what they are. do that, then you're in.

Many thousands of years ago, creatures such as dragons, phenoixes, etc. existed. Some were feared, some were ignored, and some were revered. But they all existed. Unfortunately, they soon ceased to exist. As time passed, memories of them became stories, and stories became legends. None today believe in them, except for a select few who know the truth. These few, though human, are different from other humans. Each one has the essence of one of the creatures inside of him or her. The essences are a part of them. One with an essence is able to become the creature of that essence. These people must join forces and uncover the source of a recent disturbance that threatens all life on Earth Here's the sign-up form, with my character as an example(Yes, the lack of a bio is intentional): Name: Seuneu Age(Nothing over 20): 17 Appearance: About 6ft. tall, with brown hair and eyes. He is of average build. Almost always wears shorts and a t-shirt that has "My god can beat up your god" written on it. Personallity: Very determined. He never backs down from any challenge. If there's something risky that needs to be done, he's the one who'll do it. He's helpful, but if you piss him off, he gets very angry. He enjoys fighting, but doesn't go looking for fights. Creature(Only two people per creature, please. A creature can be something along the lines of a dragon, a phenoix, a chimera, etc.): Phenoix Description of Creature(You don't have to go into too much detail for a creature like a dragon, as just about everyone knows what a dragon looks like. I will still need at least a brief description, though. For creatures that are a little less well known(like chimeras), be a little more detailed. Also include any sbilities/powers your creature has, but make sure they fit with your creature.): Basically a very large bird that appears to be made out of fire. Is able to fly. Has some control over fire and light. Is also able to heal(but not revive) self and others. There. That's it(I think). I'll start this when I have enough people. And if you have any questions, just PM me.

Latios and Latias did even worse then Celebi(two-on-two, and they still lost). As for the games, I think that real-time battles would be awesome. You would choose a Pokemon to use in a battle, then you would have full control over the Pokemon. Each of a Pokemon's moves would be assigned to a different button(This would be for GameCube, so there are plenty of buttons). Personally, I think that would rock.
-
(Karanlik looks around) Karanlik: I think I?ve just found it. Mika: But the signal?s coming from further to the west. Karanlik: It would be very simple to create a false signal. It would also be simple to block the real base from detection. It?s here. Trust me on this. Mika: How can you be so sure? (Karanlik points at a large rock) Karanlik: That rock isn?t a real rock. That?s a metallic tint. It?s covering the entrance. (He walks over to it) Let?s see here. (Pause) Thought so. (He puts his hand on the rock. A small part of the rock slides away, revealing a sphere-sized slot) The sphere goes here. If it?s the right sphere, the rock slides away. Angel: Which sphere?s the right one? Karanlik: It should be mine. (He puts his sphere in the slot. The rock slides to the side, revealing an entrance to an underground passageway) Everybody in. (They all enter. Karanlik enters last, and grabs his sphere as he does. The rock slides back over the entrance. Karanlik leads the others into a large chamber with a lot of electronic material, including several very large, networked computers, and a few large display screens, obviously designed to be seen by multiple people) Holy shit! Look at all this! Mika: Can you access one of the computers? (Karanlik finds a chair and sits down at the largest of the computers. He activates an individual moniter) Karanlik: This one?s the center of this network. I can gain access, but I?ll need a few minutes. Make yourselves comfortable.

Actually, that's the number of missiles you can get.

(Mika walks over to Karanlik, who hasn't said anything since the battle) Mika: Is anything wrong? Karanlik: No, but I do think I know what we can do now. Mika: What? Karanlik: My dad used to tell me stories. Stories about a group that ends up being exactly this group's size. Stories remarkably similar to what's happening to us. stories about a group with the same spheres we have. I'm not so sure they were stories. I think that all of that actualy happened. Mika: How does that help us? Karanlik: One of them had a base of some sort near here. He lived there, and had all sorts of equipment, as well as an extensive database. If we can get there, I can access the database, which should give us a lot of useful information. It's somewhere west of here. I say we look for it. ----------------------------- Ohkami, you know what I'm talking about.

I know I've said this a lot, but I'll say it again: Post the rest of the story! Please! *begs* -
(Karanlik sees Angel, and stops) Karanlik: This is no time for us to be fighting. (Shankul speaks, but is still concealed by the shadows) Shankul: Why not? Karanlik: The girl... Angel, I believe her name is. Something's wrong with her. Just look at her. Something's not right. She's dangerous right now, and not just to you people. I don't think she's on anybody's side but her own right now. And right now, she's very dangerous. Somebody needs to do something, but almost everybody is caught up in the battle. The only reason I saw her is because you and I were talking. I don't think we'll be able to get any of the others to stop fighting, so it's up to us. Shankul: And just why should I help? Karanlik: Because she was on my side. Even though I don't think she is anymore, she's certainly not on your side. She's your enemy, and I'm offering to help you get rid of her.

I only have one real problem with the show, and it actually has to do mainly with the movies. And that's that they keep screwing up the power levels. Mewtwo is more powerful than Mew, yet the two of them appear to be evenly matched. Entei is much more powerful than Charazard, yet the two of them have a very long battle. Not even Pikachu's lasted much more than a minute(if even that), but Charazard's was a long one. Celebi is taken down by Scyther and Houndoom, but later takes out a huge group of Pokemon with one attack. The only movie that doesn't have a power screw-up is Pokemon 2000.

(While the others fight, David and his duplicate stand faceing each other) David: Who are you? Duplicate David(DDavid): We're you. Well, that's not quite true. We are exact genitic replicas of you, but our entire lives have been lived here. We have been trained for this encounter, and told that we need to kill you. We have een told that you are the duplicates. I have discovered proof that we are the duplicates, but because I couldn't explain the proof to them in a way that they could understand it, they didn't believe me. They think that by killing you, they will be taking what is theirs, but I know that we'll be stealing your lives. David: What's your proof? DDavid: You wouldn't understand. You're a computer person. Although I am also quite skilled with computers-we do have some here-different experiances have geneated different intrests. My intrest is genetics. David: That explains it. To them, you must have sounded like you were speaking a different language. I know how that feels. My-well, our parents are geneticists. On the rare occasions that I was around them-they aren't home much, and tend to ignore me when they are-I could never understand what they said. Anyways, do you know who told you that stuff about us? DDavid: No. I have discovered a few things aout him, though. I'd tell you, but we have to stop the fighting first. David: Then let's get to work. DDavid: My group has a spot about right here (he indicates a spot on the back of his armor) that is basically... well, I'm not sure what it is, but if it's hit, the armor is temporarily deactivated, and like yours, will dissapear until called again, which can't happen until aout an hour after the forced deactivation. And no, you don't have that spot. David: That's good to know. Let's get to work.

David: (Thinking) What?s going on here? I can understand us humans doing this well against him, but not the Digimon. They?ve prooven that they shouldn?t be doing this well. There?s something going on here that I don?t know about. (Suddenly, the humans{except Restablir} and their Digimon partners find themselves on a flat plain) (Out loud) What the hell? Angel: Where are we? David: I don?t know. (The Digimon all devolve) That?s not good. GUilmon X: Something?s wrong. I can?t hold a digivolved form. David: I do not like this. At least we still have our armor. (They hear something behind them and turn around. Facing each of the humans is an exact duplicate. The duplicates have weapons drawn. The origionals draw theirs) This can not be good. (The duplicates attack) -------------------------- OOC: Each character is fighting his or her own duplicate.

Karanlik: (Thinking) He?s distracted. I can tell that he?s not focusing entirely on me. He?s probably trying to do something to the others. Now?s my chance. (He blasts the ground in front of Shankul, which throws a lot of dust into the air. Karanlik tackles Shankul, who can?t clearly see him until it?s too late.) (Out loud) Who are you? Shankul: You don?t need to know. Karanlik: Why are you here? Shankul: Isn?t it obvious? We?re here to kill you. Karanlik: Why?

40. Mario questions should proably go in the Mario Quiz thread. Here's my question: How many Missile expansions can be found in Metroid Prime?

Galfmon: It doesn't matter why you fight. You can not win. Angel: We won't give up. Galfmon: That does not matter. David: Yes it does. David fires multiple energy blasts at Galfmon. None of them have any effect. Galfmon fires a blast at David, who almost dodges it. It hits him in the leg, and he tumbles to the ground, but gets ack up quickly) (Thinking) We're doing better than we should be. I'll have to look at the recordings after the battle. That should tell me. But that doesn't matter untill the battle's over.

(As the Fire Tiger, Noorden runs as fast as he can toward the Earth Temple. When he gets there, he returns to his human form. Leste approaches him) Leste: Greetings, Noorden. You got here faster then I expected. Noorden: I already knew what your message would be. I had a vision that I interpreted as signifying Karanlik's return. I waited for your message before coming here. Any word from the other two yet? Leste: No. I'm hoping to recieve word soon. Noorden: I'm willing to wait a few minutes, but we don't have time to waste. If they don't respond soon, we need to go find them.

Orear: (Thinking) So far, that rider?s been very smart. If he saw Powietrze fly out of the cloud, he?ll guess that we?re trying to beat him to the Freeze clan. And because there?s no way he?ll get there first, he?ll be doing something else. If I was in his position, I?d go after Rannos. He?s seen Rannos, and he knows that Rannos and his dragon are weaker than usual now. While they can surely take Kire, they?re no match for an ancient rider and dragon. Of course, the darkness clan rider might be hpoing that I?d think of that and go to help Rannos while he goes after the freeze clan?s marble. i can?t afford to let that happen. Even if he is after Rannos, the freeze marble is too important to not get. I have to get it to Liri. Three uf us with merbles should be more than a match for that darkness clan rider. I just hope Rannos has te sense to leave if the darkness clan rider shows up.

David: (To himself) Scramble source... reverse probe... got it. Read location... set location... done. (Out loud) Got it. Here we go. (The humans and their Digimon partners appear in a strange area. The entire place looks like a mixture of black, blue, and purple clouds. Sitting at a computer is a man dressed entirely in black. David kicks the man's computer away) Who the hell are you? Man: Call me Restablir. David: I know you're part of what's been happening. Tell me what your role in all of this is. Restablir: Why not? You'll all be dead soon enough. Angel: Shut up and start talking. Restablir: About fifteen years ago-for me, at least-I discovered the digital world. At the time I was a programmer, and I was one of the best. I never liked it, but it was the only way I could determine the cause of the problem. When I discovered thi digital world, I also discovered other worlds, this being one of the simpler ones. I almost immedeatly realized that time moves at a different rate in many worlds, what you call the real world being one of the slowest. I realized that coing here, where time moves at an even slower rate. The digital world moves at the same rate as the real world, by the way. Anyways, I soon figured out how to get here, where I found much of what I needed already waiting for me. I don't know how any of it got here. David: We don't care. Please continue. Restablir: I only needed to make a few changes to a very large program to make my plan work. You've seen it's physical form, I believe. It was the black energy sphere in the Dark Ocean. I then got to work. By using an already made program, I was able to syncronize my personal time with the digital world's time, which is also the same as the Dark Ocean's. I then used another program to imprint a conciousnous(sp?) of a limited sort into the black energy sphere. It's not part of the sphere, but is connected to it. The conciousnous is stored in the program it came from. That conciousnous did what I told it to. David: Which was? Restablir: Which was search the digital world for a compatable Digimon. David: Mephistomon. Restablir: Correct. A small amount of the sphere's energy was transferred to Mephistomon, and he adapted to it. You know the rest. Mephistomon absorbed the entire sphere and became Galfmon. Galfmon still hasn't fully adjusted to his new power. As he adjusts, he will become stronger. When you fought him, he had only adapted a very small amount. He is now... I'd have to say about four times as powerful as he was then. By the end of the process, I expect him to become around ten times as powerful as he is now. He will destroy the digital world, then emerge in the real world and destroy everything related. Angel: Related? Restablir: Related to the digital world. He will destroy everything that requires electricity or feul to work. He will destroy everything even remotely technological. Then he will remain and keep humans from reinventing any of what he destroys. David: Why? Restablir: To save the earth. Humans have all but destroyed it. We're the cause of the problem. Earth is almost gone, and I intend to save it, which I will use Galfmon to do. speaking of Galfmon, he should be here shortly to get rid of you. Malsek: You're insane! Totally nuts! Next you'll be saying that we all live in The Matrix! Restablir: Not yet, but I would not be surprised if such a senario occured sometime in the future. I won't let it. Katt: You won't get away with this! Restablir: You can't stop me. Galfmon will make sure of that. (Galfmon appears) Right on cue. Slade: Not you again! Galfmon: This time, there will be no escape. David: You won't win. Galfmon: You are no match for me. Destroying you will be simple. David: Not if we have anything to say about it. (Everyone's digivices start to glow) Right on cue. (David, Malsek, SLade, Katt, and Angel are suddenly in some kind of armor. As is the way things like this seem to work, they immedeatly know that the armor can fly through levitation, can fire energy beams, and can energize the weapon it comes with{OOC: Choose the weapon your character's armor has. David's has two metal poles} to deliver very powerful strikes) This is new. Galfmon: That means nothing. David: Sorry, but you're wrong. (All the Digimon digivolve to their Mega-level forms if they aren't there already) We're not holding anything back. Everyone, let's do this. ----------------------------------------------- OOC: If you're confused by any of that, just tell me and I'll try to clear up your confusion. Oh, and this battle will be a lot closer, mostly due to the manuverabillity of the armor. Galfmon still has the advantage, though. Make sure that he's winning, and remember about how he uses energy to defend himself, and that he is a lot more powerful now. And, as usual, don't end the battle.

(David is at his laptop, working to open a portal to the digital world) David: (Thinking) Almost got it... what the hell? (Out loud) I've run into a problem. Give me a few minutes to solve it. Guilmon X: What's going on? David: I don't know. Wait... yes I do. Someone's trying to divert the portal. I've got a probe in the program I use for portals. Slade: What does that mean? David: I'm being hacked. Don't worry about it, though. Whoever's doing this may be good, but he/she/it has never gone up against me before. There's no way he/she/it will get us to go where he/she/it wants. In fact, I think I can trace this hacker. i'll get a location, then open a portal to it. Whoever's doing this is undoubtably connected to Galfmon in some way. If I can get us to where he/she/it is, I think I can get some answers. Slade: Can you open a portal to where this hacker is? David: If I can get a trace, I can. And I can definately get a trace. Just make sure that the Phantomon don't get to me before I do.
