DeathBug nodded. "I've unlocked everyone," he said proudly. "All the rare hunters, Pegasus, Duke Devlin and Bandit Kieth. But that's niether here nor there. Do you want to dance again?"

Which resident of Springfield was featured in a photo spread in "THe New Yorker"?
-
"I've played Eternal Duelist Soul, but I traded that in. I have Stairway to Destiny, and Dungeon Dice Monsters. Fun games." DeathBug said. "I only have a Game Boy SP, so I've never played the others. Have you?"

I found a new pic; this one's a close-up of the good Doctor's tentacles. :) No Lizard, though. However, we can expect the Black Cat, unless the rumors are dead wrong.
-
Venom is slated to be the villian in the third movie. (Possible actor? Vin Desiel) Carnage is nowhere in sight, however. That really doesn't bother me, though; most Spider-Man dans hate him. I'd go into why, but it's off-topic. I'll search for more pics.

At the San-Diego Comic Con, they had pictures of Doctor Octopus, from next summer's sequel to "Spider-Man", supposedly called "The Amazing Spider-Man". (Named after the original and longest running book Spider-Man has starred in; coincidently, ASM reaches 500 issues this fall.) I've included a pic for anyone who wants to see it. :)

Isn't it "Chunkyluver" or something to that effect?
-
I feel mixed emotions. On one hand, I want to be featured...on the other, Im' scared to death of it. ^_^;; But still, very nice work.

This is just for fun.... We've all done the "which card do you identify with?" game before, where you tell which card you think reflects a bit of your personality. Well, what cards would you select for the personalities of your favorite anime characters? Spike, from "Cowboy Bebop": Don Zaluug Ayeka, from "Tenchi Muyo": Queen of Autemn Leaves Yoh, from "Shamen King": Jowgen the spiritualist Lupin the III, from...uh..."Lupin the III": White Magical Hat Beelzemon, from "Digimon: Tamers": Dokurorider Kikaider from...yeah, "Kikaider": Roboyaru Any others?

I was not dissing it; I was specifically asking for what it's use would be. (I knew I didn't understand, and so i asked to gain understanding; that's usually how it goes.) The only gamebreaking >1000 card I thought of off the top of my head was Exiled Force. However, if I've got my opponent down to less than 2000 points, wouldn't I have control of the match already? I can see how DR is powerful, but I'd hardly call it a staple.
-
DeathBug grinned. "Like I'd ask if I didn't already know? My fave anime is Outlaw Star, but Trigun is a very close second. I haven't seen all the episodes yet, so it might even top OS when it's done. My favorite video game ever is Doom. That was a classic; I'm waiting for Doom III." "My fave card....that's tough....I like the Metal Red Eyes, and the Twin Headed Thunder Dragon....and I can't wait to find a Mystical Knight of Jackal....but my all-time favorite card has to be my Sinister Serpant. I love that little bugger."
-
About Ring of Destruction- Maybe I'm missing something, but since it inflicts equal damage to both players in addition to destroying the monsters, wouldn't it just be easier to use Bottomless Trap Hole or even normal Trap Hole? If you're both hurt equally, it doesn't seem like you'd get ahead any.
-
"So, I guess at this point I'd just look stupid asking if you liked video games or anime. I mean, it would have looked wierd before asking at the *otaku* prom, but this just clinches it." "Well now," DeathBug continued. "I guess there's only three things I have to ask you, then. What's your favorite anime, video game, and Yu-Gi-Oh card? It's a standard question."
-
Well, in that case, using my Sinister Serpant and Marie the Fallen One to discard for Graceful Charity and Magic Jammer would probably be my best and most fun combo.
-
Well, it's highly unlikely that you can pull a combo with more than three cards off...but are we assumig a best-case scenario? Fine, here's the best my new deck would be able to do... A ten-card combo: Luminous spark +Light of Intervention + 1 set Mirror Force + United we Stand + Mage Power UWS & MP added to Mystical Knight of Jackal, also on field: St. Joan, Twin-headed Thunder Dragon, Thunder Nyan Nyan, Airknight Parateth MKJ atk: 9700 Total possible attack: 21100 But like I said, very very unlikely. ;)
-
I like Vash and Millie, but I don't think they're all that klutzy, in the "fall over and damage stuff" kinda' way. My fave klutz is the klutz queen: Mihoshi, from Tenchi Muyo. ^_^

"Yeah, sorry." Deathbug smiled. "Well, I'm really not a guy that likes to spout proverbs or whatever they're called, but there's one I always try to live by. "Blessed are we who can laugh at ourselves, for we shall never cease to be amused." Beats the heck outta' "Thou shalt have no other gods before me". That line's always a laugh riot." "So, what about you? What do you like to do?"
-
DeathBug blushed. "Well, I try, you know....Glad you approve. All this time I thought I was talkin' to myself. Thanks." He cleared his throat. "Uh...so...Yeah, now that I'm actually trying to be witty, I'm drawing a blank. Sorry."

It's all about responsibility. No one wants to take responsibility for their own actions anymore, so we'll blame someone else. We ate McDonalds food three times a day and now have weekly heart attacks, but it can't be our fault. So, let's sue!

Writing Yu-Gi-Oh! Cast Gets Interviewed
DeathBug replied to Bandit Joeykuba's topic in Creative Works
Well....I loved the first three chapters, but the fourth just did'nt sit with me. It's not your fault; it just reminded me that my fave character is dead. ;_; Other than that, sweet job. ^_^ -
Originally posted by Nefertimon I think your deck is fine; it just needs a card like Negate Attack or something. Here's my deck (not in real life; in the GBA game "Yugioh: Stairway to the Destined Duel): Monsters (level 4 and lower): (22) Crazy Fish Crawling Dragon #2 x2 Gemini Elf Mystical Elf Rogue Doll Battle Ox Red Archery Girl La Jinn Giant Soldier of Stone x3 Giant Rat* x2 Witch of the Black Forest* Sonic Bird* Cyber Jar* Trap Master* Man-Eater Bug* Penguin Soldier* Rocket Warrior* Maha Vailo* Monsters (level 5-6): (4) Summoned Skull Jinzo* Total Defense Shogun* Dark Magician Girl* Monsters (level 7+): (5) Dark Magician x2 Red Eyes Black Dragon Buster Blader* Barrel Dragon* Ritual Monsters: (2) Magician of Black Chaos Relinquished* Fusion Monsters (1) Black Skull Dragon *=effect monster Magic Cards: (20) Axe of Despair Black Illusion Ritual Black Pendant Change of Heart Dark Hole Dark Magic Ritual Dian Keto the Cure Master Fissure Fusion Sage Graceful Charity Harpie's Feather Duster Heavy Storm Monster Reborn Mystical Space Typhoon Polymerization Pot of Greed Premature Burial Snatch Steal Sword of Dark Destruction Yami Trap Cards: (7) Magic Cylinder Magic Jammer Mirror Force Negate Attack Seven Tools of the Bandit Torrential Tribute Trap Hole I have a total of 60 cards in my deck (not counting my Fusion monster), which is the maximum number of cards you can have in your deck in WWE. I wanna put Raigeki and Bad Reaction to Simochi in my deck, but the password thingy didn't work for Bad Reaction to Simochi and I don't even have a Raigeki card... :bawl: If I did, I would replace my Giant Rats with them...
First off, you've got waaaayyy too many cards, Nefertimon. Let's see.... Monsters: You've got too much going on here. Ditch two or three of your lvl 7 monsters, first off. Then, ditch one Ritual monster. Also, you don't need 3 Stone Soldiers and one Mystical Elf; I wouldn't play with more than 2 High-defense monsters. Loose the Black-Skull Dragon, b/c your deck isn't centered around fusions and he just takes up space. Loose Trap Master, Giant Rat and some of your weaker monsters. As soon as you can, add more High-level monsters like the Gemini Elf or La Jinn. Loose Sonic Bird. Magic: Loose Sword of Dark Destruction, Yami, and Black Pendant. Also, loose Dien Kento; 1000 LP isn't worth it if you draw her and really needed an offensive card. As soon as you can, get more Mystical Space Typhoons. Traps: Actually, your traps are fine. I'd suggest call of the Haunted over Trap Hole, though. And it's a matter of personal taste, but I'd replace Magic Jammer with Imperial Order. Also, you could drop Seven Tools because you have Jinzo. You only have 1 Flip effect, so you might want to replace it with Light of Intervention or Royal Command. The main problem is that your deck seems unfocused. What is its theme supposed to be? Altron: So, I did a double take looking at your deck; hey, isn't that the exact same deck as before? Upon closer examination, I realized that you added one Exiled Force and dropped one Graceful Charity. Obviously, since it's otherwise exactly the same, my suggestions wqould be the exact same as before. Since you've decided my suggestions aren't "logical", I'll refrain. However, your idea of swapping cards for hand disruption cards from your side deck-why, exactly? You'd be adding in several cards who obviously don't work in with the theme (beatdown) of your deck. You said the deck was unbeatable before; haven't you heard, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"?

"Cool," DeathBug replied. "Thanks. I didn't even pay attention to the prom before; I'm not a very social person." He cleared his throat. "But I'm glad you asked me. Hangin' here with you is a lot more fun than anything else I could have done. And I get to wear a bowtie and change my avatar! Everyone wins!"
-
"Sure, no sweat," DeathBug nodded, eager to make up for embarassingh imself earlier. "Don't stop being cute while I'm gone." He quickly walked to the snack tray. "Punch, punch, where's the punch...." A short dude with a red hat and blue-stripped shirt approached him. "Hey there. How about a nice Hawaiian punch?" "Really? That's just what I was looking for! I..." DeathBug stopped. "Wait, this seems vaguely familiar to me...yep, I've definatly seen this scenario before. Nice try, buddy, but no thanks." "Aww." The short guy walked off, and DeathBug came back with some punch. "Here you go, ma'am," he said, smiling.
-
"Yeah," DeathBug said as he got up, rubbing the back of his head. "Ow...sorry. Maybe we should take a break from dancing right now, before I kill again. Can I get you a drink or something?"
Originally posted by Bandit Joeykuba Still blushing, she wrapped her arms around his neck as he out his arms around her waist. "Don't you just love slow dances?" She asked, not really expecting an answer.
"I sure do now..." DeathBug thought. "Yeah, they're pretty cool," he agreed. "I'm more of a fast-dance kinda' guy, but I can definatly see the upside...." It was around this time that he tripped over his own shoelace, onto the floor. "Ow..." ^^;
