D_N: You've got waaayy too many cards. First, take out all the Toon cards. Then, leave only 1 Level 7 monster, and two-three level 5/6 monsters. On the magic side, you're only allowed 1 Dark Hole and 1 Regeki. Remove Invigoration and Dragon Treasure, as well as 1 Remove Trap. Trap-wise....remove the Dragon Capture Jar, 2 Castle wAlls and 1 Robbin' Goblin. Also, remove many of your weaker monsters. A good system for deck proportions is: 2 Lvl 7-8 Monsters, 3 lvl 5/6 monsters, 15 lvl 1-4 Monsters (20 Monsters total), 13 Magics, and 7 traps. This is only a guideline, though, and you can play around with it all you want.
Originally posted by Bandit Joeykuba The current song came to an end and a slow one started. She blushed and looked down at the ground.
DeathBug's neck turned a crimson red. "Crap," he thought. "Slow dancing! I always screw up with slow dancing! Don't panic...stay cool..." "So, uh..." he stammered. "Yeah, I'd ask for this dance, but since we're already dancing, that'd be kinda' pointless. So, I'm just going to slow dance and hope for the best." ^^;;;

OOC: It's funny; I can do it, but whenever I try, my friends threaten to hit me, spill my drink, kick me out of the car, etc. Huh... BIC: DeathBug watched Bandit dance. "Whoa..." he though to himself. "The first-grader in me is whining at being shown up by a girl....I hope I was speaking metaphorically just now, or that would be icky...." He tried to match pace with Bandit. Y"ou dance devinely," he said. "Heh, I always wanted to say that...whoa! Almost tripped...I'm good...What's the music that's playing, anywho?"

I think Otakuboards.com owes all of its sucess entirely to me. I am the single person keeping this entire thing afloat. .....Well, not really. I think having a prominant, high-quality website was what really helped. (It's how I found the place.) Also, the people here are great, especially me. When I was a newbie, it was easy to feel welcomed.

DeathBug blushed. "Uh, okay, sure. I...okay." He takes her hand. "I'm not sure what I'm doing..."

Deathbug: Shut up! Just help me find my blazer! Tweek, did you see it? Tweek: Ah! I can't remember! Oh man...too much pressure! DeathBug: Aw, never mind...here it is...I need some money...anyone got any cash? Pegasus: Here you go, m'boy. Don't spend it all in one place. Deathbug: Thank, man; I owe you. Okay, I'm out! Vash: Hey, uh, Deathbug.... Deathbug: What?! Hobgoblin: You might want to put on some pants... Deathbug: *Looks down*.................Uh, yeah.......... Well, technically, Insect Queen had the potential to reach 3200 attack points, or thereabouts. However, the monster with the strongest base attack was Jinzo. The second strongest was Fortress Whale, then Insect Queen, then Legendary Fisherman. Oh, and there are no stupid questions.

"Hey, Joey, are you sure you should roast candy bars?" "I know what I'm doin'." Sadly....I've had a conversation almost like that...and I played the part of Joey....^^; -
Raiha posted before I did, so to the victor goes the spoils. I snoozed and lost; let her in. ^_^

A friend of mine, who's a girl, has a deck that totally owns me. Her fun deck lacks focus, but her spellcaster deck cut through my Beatdown like a hot knife through butter. Her collection is also far superior to mine; she has three (three!!) Secret Rares, among many other goodies. I'm cool with that. Why would you think less of a duelist because of gender? I'd think less of a duelist if they cheated, stole cards or were harassing other players, but not just because they're a girl. Jeez, I thought most guys left behind the "girls have cooties" attitude in the first-grade sandbox.

Hey, where'd you find pics of the English cards? Trying to search on Google just brings up endless retail sites. --;

I love the argument Lumis & Umbra/Light & Dark Mask had when they were just stalling Yami & Kaiba the first time. "This way never works!" "Well, maybe if you choose something besides rock..." "Hurry up!!" -
(Limit one Mil. Item Magic card per deck; Millenium Item Magicc ards may not be brought back from the graveyard) Millenium Eye Spell Speed: Continous Effect: When this card is activated, place 1 Magic Counter on this card. Millenium Rod Spell Speed: Continous Effect: When this card is activated, place 1 Magic counter on this card. At the cost of 2000 life points per each usage, you may choose to activate as many of your opponents face-down cards as you wish. If the timing is incorrect, destroy the cards. Let's see....*looks through his deck*.... Well, I'm still building it, but currently the only two foil cards are Goblin Attack Force and Harpie's Feather Duster. However, the completed version calls for quite a few Super rares and a few more Ultra rares, which is probably why it's not completed yet. ^^; Where I to take the final product to Battle City and slap on a Duel Disk, the card I'd give up if I lost would be Freed, the Matchless General. But, of course, I would'nt loose. *Goes to buy more LOD boosters*

Guys! I actually invented a new deck-type, totally independant of outside help. Mermaid's Tear Monsters: x3 Toon Mermaid x3 Nimble Monomaga x3 Zombrya the Dark/Gemini Elf/Spear Dragon/Goblin Attack Force x1 Witch of the Black Forest x1 Sangan x3 Giant Soldier of Stone x1 Sinister Serpant x1 Fiber Jar x3 Magician of Faith Magic: x1 Monster Reborn x3 Messenger of Peace x3 Toon World x1 Swords of Revealing Light x2 Magic Reflecter x1 Graceful Charity x1 Pot of greed x1 Regeki x1 Harpie's Feather Duster x3 Mystical Space Typhoon Traps: x2 Magic Jammer x2 Solemn Wishes x1 Mirror Force x1 Energy draining Machine ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ See, it's a Toon/Messenger of Peace deck. The Mermaid can attack under MOP and do 1400 damage (per Mermaid0 each turn. The rest of the cards are self-explanatory. I know it's totally weak for Tounaments, but it could kick butt in casual play. :demon: It's no Clown Control, but it's my own original deck.

So, uh...any gamebreaking warriors in PG, aside from that dude with the White Magical Hat effect? I just wanna' know if I should leave open some slots in my warrior beatdown deck...

This deck sucks. It won't win at any Tournament. That in mind, it's loads of fun. I'll leave it to you to determine the theme/strategy. There you go. As for my entry... "Do you know me? I'm the Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon. I like chili dogs, but they don't like me. So when my heartburn rears up like a Mammoth Graveyard ripping through my chest, I take Pepto-Byzmal. It stops heartburn fast, and lets me get beack to what's important." Kaiba: "Ultimate White Lightening Attack!" BEUD: "Whoops, time to go. Thanks, Pepto-Byzmal."

Aquilo Knight (Warrior/Earth) (Level 6, 2500/1500) Effect: This monster may only be normal summoned by offering one "Hayabusa Knight" equipped with one "Axe of despair" as a Tribute. This monster may attack twice during the same battle phase. CyberSkull (Fiend/Darkness/Fusion) (Level 8, 3200/2100) {Jinzo + Summoned Skull} Effect: While this monster is one the field, you may pay 1000 Lifepoints to negate the effect of one trap card and destroy it. This card can attack directly if the only attribute of your opponent's monsters are Dark. Rancid Burger (Plant/Darkness/Fusion) (Level 7, 2800/2000) {Hungry Burger + Kuriboh} Effect: At the cost of 1500 Lifepoints, you may destroy one enemy monster on the field. this monster cannot be revived with "Monster Reborn". Freed the Armored Knight (Warrior/Earth) (Level 6, 2500/2100) Effect: This monster may only be normal summoned from your hand or deck by offering "Freed, the Matchless General" equipped with a "Metalmorph". This monster recieves 300 additional attack and defense points for every monster in your control. This monster cannot be the target of your opponent's magic cards. During your draw phase, you may special summon one level 4 or lower warrior monster from your deck instead of drawing. Your deck is then shuffled.

A machine deck is only semi-playable. You've got Jinzo, Mechanicalchaser, Barrel Dragon, Litter Removal and Metalmorph. Everything else is pretty mediocre, even Gradius. We need Cyber Wyven and Machine King....

For the *LAST* time, the so-called "First" Season of Yu-Gi-Oh was actually another series. What we see in America is "Yu-Gi-Oh: Duel Monsters". The original Yu-Gi-Oh series was based almost directly on the manga. However, similar to the various Tenchi Muyo series, it's nott he same. How can you tell? Well, it flat-out contradicts YGO:DM in several areas. Most notably, it intros Kaiba and Bakura as the way they originally appeared. (Yami Bakura turned the cast into game pieces in a Dungeons & Dragons type game, not card characters.) Also, the 1/2 hour YGO movie takes place in the orinigal show's timeline. I'm sorry, but that's a pet-peeve of mine. They're two different shows.

I kinda' forgot Torrential Tribute, because every deck can use it. I also forgot Amphibian Beast. Although, if you use A Legendary Ocean, you're better to use Suijin; 300 more attack, plus his effect, for the same amount of Tributes. I love theme decks. :)
