Well, the average lifespan back then was, what, seven? Not to get religious, but God knew the realities of the world, and if humanity was going to survive, we'd have to be able to mate like bunnies in ceretain spots of our history. However, we no longer have to do that to survive, so now the arguement against it can be made. We live longer, so these issues will arise.

Hmmm...as Xander Harris once said, "I'm seventeen. Looking at linomlium makes me want to have sex." Not sure what that had to do with anything, but I'm also seventeen, so there's some context. I wouldn't like to have sex until I'm married, so, twenty years from now, I'll know that I've got dediction and self-discipline. As for other poeople having sex, I really don't care, as long as it's legal. For the most part, I don't think other people should care. (The only exception would be dependants who do it in their parents' house; then I'd think the parents have a right to step in if they want to.) I'm a virgin, but I know several people who aren't, and it doesn't lower my opinion of them. I think at some point they might wish they'd waited for that one special person, but I'm not going to hound them with my personal beliefs. So....do you get any respect for being a virgin if you've never had the opportunity to loose your virginity?

Seth muttered to himself. "Show off, just like I said; wouldn't have been able to even touch those zombies if my "Luminous Spark cards didn't power up his dragon, too." He sighed. "It's just like I sai: temwork's for the birds. Hope this next town is better..." He continued towards the new town, but stayed towards the rear of the group by himself.
-
"Bakemon! Soulmon!" Seth barked. "Get over here!" The two ghost Digimon approached nervously. "Uh...yes sir?" "Today has been most frustrating," Seth told the three Digimon. "Ever since Sayuri defeated me, things have grown too complicated. My conclusion is simple: the Champion Digivolution stage is no longer enough for our needs. Impmon, you will have to Digivolve again. Come along; we have a lot of data for you to load and not a lot of time to do it in."
-
Seth scoffed. "This is nothing." He searched through his deck. "Here we go, the combo that will wipe these buggers out. Watch the skills that marveled Europe!" He pulled out a Magic card. "Luminous Spark!" A bright light filled the area. "Now, time to get charged up. Ready, boys and girls? Sanga of the Thunder, come out to play!" He raised the Monster card over his head, and the light Gate Guardian piece arrived. "With Luminous Spark boosting his power, Sanga is at 3100 attack. Sanga, take down those zombies!" With a mighty flash of lighting, Sanga electrocuted the three zombie. "So...anyone want to finish the big pumpkin off?"

Seth shook his head. "I'm sorry, but everything I know conflicts with that philosiphy. Life is harsh, and only the strong survive. I'm doing this world a favor by eliminating the weak. You understand, of course, that I have to defeat you at some point, or I violate my own philosiphy." "Do not think I care about 'shame'," he continued as he gathered up Impmon. "I'm beyond that. Emotions are a weakness. This 'wall' you talk about is a goal not worth reaching. Even if you see what you want, you'll only die later. Why bother? I'm going to fight until something finally proves me weak and kills me." "...He's wierd like that..." Impmon muttered. "You'll never understand," Seth told her. "Carry on trying to see your wall. I'll stay grounded in the real world, and eliminate the weak."
-
Devimon groaned and returned to his rookie stage of Impmon. "...owhhh...guess every rose has...has it's thorns...right, flower girl?...." Seth glanced over as Impmon passed out. He returned his gaze to Sayuri. "No," he replied. "Exestintialism is pointless, and power is not an entity. All that we see is all there is. I don't care about your beliefs; I only want to be defeat your Digimon. It seems that I cannot. As it stands, I am no longer the strongest one here. You should kill me; I can no longer validate my existance if I'm not the strongest."
-
Soulmon and Bakemon lay unconcious on the ground, but Devimon ripped free from Maurimon's grasp. "Hey! What'd you have to do that for, Flower girl?" he grunted as he flew through the air. "Now it's serious. Evil Wing!" Devimon flapped his wings, and a dark shower of energy fell onto Maurimon. Any sparks that touched her exploded violently on contact. Seth ignored the battle, instead focussing on Sayuri. "Your Digimon is very powerful for a Champion. I suppose fighting you is counter-productive; you're obviously strong enough to warrent existance. However, I have to defeat you, or I cannot justify my own existance. I'm afraid it's as simple as that."
-
Suddenly, the shapes of Seth and Impmon melted and distorted, revealing the forms of Bakemon and Soulmon. Before Maurimon could react, Devimon swooped out of the sky and struck her in the back with his "Touch of Evil". He slammed her to the ground. As Bakemon and Soulmon scattered, the real Seth approached from behind Sayuri. "Cunning is the key to the victory in a battle," he said calmly as Devimon continued to rip into Maurimon. "Now that you've lost the element of surprise, we'll see how well you fair." "No matter the outcome, you and your Digimon will not sway me from my mission of purifying this world of all weakness. Your own overconfidence made you weak; you reacted without thinking." "You should have known that ghost Digimon like Bakemon and Soulmon can shapeshift. You let your eyes decieve you. Now you will suffer the consequences."
-
Seth and Impmon approached Sayuri and Maurimon boldly and directly. He glared at her. "It's time for a rematch."
-
Seth scoffed He knew it. "What you're basically saying is this," he said to John. "We should all work together now, but in the end it doesn't matter how we work together, because we're just going to end up turning on each other in the end anyways. So any alligences we form are a waste of time." He laughed slightly. "It's a wonderful set up we've got, but it's also a bit typical. We help each other when it suits us and are then ready to turn on each other at a moment's notice. Whatever. What do we need to do first?"
-

Seth, in the outfit of Giltia, the Dragon Knight, looked through his deck one more time. He sighed as he watched Koe ride his Blue Eyes. "Show off....ten pounds says he's the first one out. Not like it matters....I'm going to win this competition, with or without the others." He began to whistle to himself as he walked around, examining the surroundings.
-
Seth nodded. "See that you leave quickly. I'm looking for the right opponent to vent my frustrations upon; don't let it be you." He walked back into the forest. "Come along," he told the Digimon. "We're going to eliminate that other tamer." "You're nuts, Boss! Her partner was super-fast last time!" Bakemon said. "Do not doubt me, foolish ghost. Now that her element of suprise is gone, she has little that can stand against us."
-
OOC: Are they in the forms of the Duel monsters they chose? Seth hung off away from the main group.
-
"I'm afrad you misunderstand," Seth said. "You're far too weak to warrent living in this world. You don't even have a Digimon with you." He snapped his fingers, and Devimon leapt in front of Siaga. "I will have him kill you unless you leave right now."
-
Seth stopped walking suddenly, and his cabal stopped as well. "What's wrong? Why'd you stop?" Devimon asked. "I hear something..." Seth muttered. He took a few steps through the tree, until he came to the beach. He looked down the sands. Sure enough, there was a human girl sitting there. "Stay back here," he told the others. "She has no Digimon with her. I'll handle this. Be ready to come if I call for you." He walked through the sands up to Siaga. "What are you doing here?" he demanded. "You're far too weak to be here unaccompanied. I will give you a single opportunity to leave; after that, I'm afraid things will get violent."
-
Seth approached Devimon's side. "Get up," he demanded, clearly angry. "Now!" "Ugh..." Devimon shook his head and slowly got to his feet. "Seth, I'm sorry...I didn't think..." "No, you didn't!" Seth scolded. "You were overconfident. Overconfidence leads to weakness, Devimon! Do you understand?" "Yes, Seth. I got it." "It is our mission to purge this world of weakness. I will not allow failure like that again!" "Hey, boss," Bakemon spoke up. "Give him a break...who knew that Digimon was so fast?" "At least he wasn't completely useless, like you two!" Seth snapped at the two ghosts. "I should have him kill you and use your data to get stronger. You're pathetic!" All three of the Digimon were very nervous right then. However, Seth soon calmed down. "Very well, we will chalk this up to experience; after all, we have never faced a tamer's Digimon before. In the furture, however, should we wmeet a tamer, there can be no playing around; we must kill them, swiftly."
-
Devimon was shocked...he couldn't move...she was so fast... "...Seth...I can't..." he gasped. Seth glared at Sayuri. "It appears I underestimated you and your Digimon. If you expect me to apologize or beg for forgivness, you're mistaken. You had the advantage of surprise on your side this time; in a future battle, Devimon would cut your Digimon into ribbons. If you're going to kill us, hurry up and do so. If not, release my partner. I have things to do."
-
Soulmon and Bakemon applauded slightly as Leimon digivolved. (If I get anyon'es Digimon's name wrong the first couple of times, i apologize. ^^; ) "Neat. Nice evolution!" Soulmon commented. "Yeah, I like it." Bakemon agreed. "Quiet!" Seth hissed at them. They leapt backwards, and he returned his attention to Sayuri. "Seyuri, is it? Well, it doesn't matter who you are. You will not interfere with my mission. Devimon, prepare yourself." Devimon nodded and stepped forward. "Nice....a tamer's Digimon. I hope you can actually be a challenge, Flower child." Seth snapped his fingers, and Devimon flew above him, ready to strike. "Your Digimon had best prepare itself. Devimon will rip it apart if it is not strong enough. Then again, if it is too weak to stop him, it deserves to die anyway...as would the weak tamer who failed it. Prepare yourself, stranger, for a trial by fire. Devimon, attack. Kill them if you can." Devimon nodded and zoomed in to attack, barring his claws. "Touch of Evil!"

In the Digital World, a new evil takes shape.... Seth stood with a cold gaze, watching the violence in front of him. His partner, Devimon, was locked in combat with a snarling Tyrannomon. Seth's eyes narrowed. This was wrong. "Devimon, stop toying with him," he commanded. "You're far stronger than he his. Kill him and be done with it." Devimon sighed. "You're no fun, you know that? I never get to enjoy myself." "I won't allow our task to be comprimised because you want to goof off," Seth shot back. "Finish him!" "All right, all right..." Devimon flew above the Tyrannomon. "See you around, Dino! Touch of Evil!" One of Devimon's claws extended and pierced through the Tyrannomon's chest. The pitiful beast dissolved into data instantly. Devimon landed next to his tamer. "There. Happy now?" Seth shook his head. "No. We still have much to do. Come along." Seth's two henchmen, Bakemon and Soulmon, came out of hiding. "Nice work, boss," Bakemon said. "You really nailed him!" "Yeah," Soulmon agreed. "I thought dinosuars were tough, but Devimon's tougher." "Well, we don't know that for sure, he hasn't fought every dinosaur yet," Bakemon told his twin. "But does it matter? I think we can assume the result would be the same." "We could, probably. But we might be making a mistake. and who knows-" "Stop your insipd babbling!" Seth commanded, glaring at them. They cowered. "We've much to do, and more Digimon to destroy. Come along." Seth walked further into the Digital World. Devimon followed his tamer, and the two ghost Digimon followed him.

Anime New Egyptian God Cards: Are they coming out?
DeathBug replied to gouf's topic in Otaku Central
They could, but then the cards would be substantially different from the Japanese version. Ocassionaly, Upperdeck has changed the wording on cards that (probably) unintentionally changed the effects. (IE, Skull Lair). However, I don't know if they've ever done something as drastic as making the God Cards playable.... -
Anime New Egyptian God Cards: Are they coming out?
DeathBug replied to gouf's topic in Otaku Central
The God cards will never be tournament legal here. Why should they be, when they're not tournamentr legal in Japan? I belive "American" God cards will be released, (As opposed to "English" God cards, which are already out), but they'll be for casual play only. I would be very, very surprised if Upperdeck made them Tourny legal. However, I would then stick Obelisk in my Warrior deck. :demon: -
