To add on to that, in the myth, a monkey bursted out from a huge rock and he explored beyond a waterfall to see what was in it and found a better land with plentiful food for the monkeys to live in so they crowned him as the Monkey King. Knowing that some day he'll die, he went out in search of a way to be immortal so he went out and found an immortal that taught him to have forever youth and to morph into 76 different animals. He trained with his master for 7 years and then left. He got the pole from the South Dragon King. When he wrecked havoc upon the heavens he was basically ustoppable. But his downfall was when he dared to challenge the highest Buddha of all. The Buddha told him to prove his worth by jumping from this mountain to the mountain that's so far even the Monkey King's eyes can't see them. So he used his hardest efforts to jump, and when he got there, he saw that he had only jumped from one of Buddha's finger to another. So he tried to attack Buddha and Buddha sealed him away into a sacred mountain called "Five Finger Mountain" and gave a name to the Monkey King called "Son Ookon*" which he would have to stay stuck there for 700 hundred years until someone would free him. And that's where the real adventure actually starts. I read the books of the myth so I know a lot about it and how much DB and DBZ has ideas inspired from it. ^_^

My favorite episode is the one with the kid who can read people's mind and Clark throwing the bowling ball like a baseball and nailing the bad guy in the head. The only strange thing I find about Smallville is that when Clark fights, all he does is throw people around and the bad guys die after just being thrown into the wall. I mean he barely even fights people who are supposed to be as strong as him. He just picks them up and throws them

I'm at the part where you fight Meta Ridley,
I died after his wings burned off
. Anyway, the more I play the more I realize that the control scheme actually gives you more manuevaring options than the standard FPS controls. I can't ever imagine fighting Thardus or Meta Ridley with the standard FPS controls. I hope they keep them in the next Metroid game.

There are a lot of Japanese anime that are based upon myths and legends instead of religion, which most people here in America thinks. People should just see that things represented in anime and manga are just forms of entertainment, which happen to have a little bit of myths and legends to keep things interesting. If you see an episode of South Park with the Japan trying to take over America through pokemon, that's probably the exact thing that people here think. Some people think that anime is suppose to try to teach their kids a new religion. People here can understand that fantasy books don't imply to any religion but can't realize that mangas are pretty much considered as fantasy books in Japan. Life in Japan is so stressful, people would just rather read a manga instead of sit down and read a book. As anime and manga started to become more popular, they became like novels. So just like some romance scenes in books, they describe some nudity in it using words, while in a manga, they have to describe it using a drawn figure. So people in Japan aren't sick, they just use mangas as a form of telling a story. Sorry that I wrote so much, I just had to write out my opinion on a subject that I believe shouldn't exist.

You know each person with different abilities kind of reminds me of Super Smash Bros. Melee, now if only they added a starfox tank with Fox and Falco in it as secrets.......

Thanks. I guess I should've known that from the start. ^_^

I've been here for awhile and I still can't figure out what those black buttons on the envelope icon mean. I know an open one is a new message, and a blue closed envelope means no new messages but what does a blue envelope but with a button on it mean?

What makes a villain a villain is that a villain is always a constant threat to what the hero is protecting. Look at Tao Pai Pai, when he was about to kill Bora, you would've expected that Goku would save him, but it turned out that Goku couldn't even save himself. So finally, a person who's evil that even the main hero, Goku couldn't beat, so he was a villain. The ones before him such as General Blue, didn't really pose as a challenge so he wasn't much of a villain, but he was evil. I hope people can understand what I just wrote. ^_^

I got a question, for the two-man kart, is it a preset two people who drive who you can pick whatever two people you want? I thought it was a preset pair of people. But look at Luigi who's driving Peach's car. So I need someone to clarify this for me.

Gaming Rogue Squadron 3: Rebel Strike (screens again)
SS5 Gogeta replied to Semjaza's topic in Noosphere
I was just about to post this. This is looking almost better than RL already and it's still in development, just thinking about combating 50 or so tie fighters with coop makes this my most anticipated game that's probably gonna come out next year. -
Yeah the Golden Statue points right towards it. It will be on the ground so just sail along the ground until you find it.

I remember Voltron, I used to watch it when I was a kid, and I didn't even know that it was anime either I just thought that it was a really cool cartoon.

It's been awhile since I actually updated this so I will now write what happens next.
"So what kind of game are we playing?" Yu-GI asked. "The game we're playing is called 'Monster World' it's an RPG board game where basically you four team up and go from village to village fighting evil and eventually when you get to meet the final dungeon boss which will be represented by me, will the hardest you will be facing. Now for the actual game, we each take turns rolling a pair of dice which has eight sides to it. You roll them at the same time and if you get a lower number than the opponent, then you get to attack first. Now if you roll a combined number of 2 or less, than you gain an extra attack bonus and special ability." Bakura said as he tried to explain thoroughly. "Just sounds like a dumb board game to me," commented Joey. Then Yu-Gi stops Joey from leaving "Come on Joey, this might be fun, I'm always up to a new game." "Now each of you take a piece..............''
I planned to write more today but I'm feeling really tired today. If any of you have read tihs part of the manga already tell me what you think about it and tell me if im missing anything.

Anime How did Fat Buu get the healing power?
SS5 Gogeta replied to SS5 Gogeta's topic in Otaku Central
Transfering ones energy to someone who's fatigued or drained of energy is kind of different than healing a person with a fatal wound. -
Fat Buu once showed that he was capable of healing. But I know that Bibidi isn't the type of person who would create a being capable of healing people. So did Fat Buu learned to heal people when he absorbed the fat and jolly supreme kai?
-
Yes but he only had a braid that's attached to the very back of his head. No hair anywhere else Edit: On his head I mean.:D
-
During the intro of Yu-Gi-Oh, I saw this guy with a bald head and a braid attached to the back of it. he was dressed as a rare hunter and had a dueling disk on. So who is he? I almost forgot to mention that he had sometype of markings on one side of his face. He looked really important.
-
I remember an episode of Yu-Gi-Oh that if Yu-Gi merges himself with Yami he wouldn't be clueless as to what happens and he wouldn't let the spirit go too far as to kill someone. Well I kind of think that if Bakura has the same evil heart as the Mill. Ring's spirit, then he wouldn't be so clueless as to what he would be doing and be able to gain access to the Mill. Ring's power. Does anybody agree with me? While Im at it I just want to mention that I don't think that the spirit in the Mill. Ring is just a mere graverobber. I think that it was once a very powerful graverobber and it manipulated the Mill. Ring to the point where he eventually took complete control over it. He also manipulated a piece of the Mill. Puzzle so that's why he isn't bothered by making a deal with Malik to give it to him. Because he knows he would have it for himself eventually and he just needs the rest that Malik promised.

I was watching an episode of Yu Yu Hakusho the other day and watching Yuske and Kurabora (excuse my spelling) fight that really big guy it got me thinking that this would be a really cool RPG if done right. I just want to know if anyone ever thought of an anime or manga that could make an extremely good RPG.
-
Wow! I almost forgot about this game. This game is going to be a huge hit. This will now be my most anticipated game besides Starfox and F-Zero of course
-
I just finished the game and I have to tell you imo, it's the best RPG of all time. I really liked it that it didn't have to have the main character being bad or your friends betraying you to keep the story interesting. For me it's just refreshing to play as a pure hearted hero who's going against impossible odds against an Armada for a change.

In school today I learned about the religions that people in Japan follow and one of them mentioned about worshipping god-like spirits named Kami. Kami's are worshipped and that people believe that they will protect them. So in db and dbz, Kami-Sama is actually considered the god of earth not the guardian of earth. That's the reason Yajirobe was skeptical when he heard that Kami-Sama was the creator of the dragonballs and that he could be met. I'm just pointing this out because I made a thread about this and someone told me that Kami-sama is the guardian of earth not the god of it.

I'm afraid that he was answering me. Wow!
so Drachma didn't die.
this suprised me a lot. Thanks ^_^

I don't remember seeing it being stated that #8 was created by Dr.Gero. but Dr.Gero probably did create the robot suit for Black. As if he worked for them so to speak.

I agree with The Merchant and Medra. And remember that scene with Dabura fighting with Gohan, he just formed a sword out of nowhere and started using then it dissapated when it was broken.
