Well if M.Ali doesn't post soon, I could always kill him off. I mean, my character's been itching to release some anger issues she's suppressed. =P But anyways, I can't wait for the Christmas special. Drinking, partying, chaos, oh how the city will fall to its knees in the wake of our presence.

By now the entire place was about to burn up in flames. She heard yelling, thuds, and all sorts of noise but couldn?t see a single thing through the damned smoke. Either way, Juliet wasn?t willing to stick around and find out what happened but then she had a sudden urge to go down the path and found Eddie and a very dead Cat. She took a step forward to ask Eddie what had happened but decided against it and turned the other way. Looks like Charles made Eddie do the dirty deed. With the thought still lurking in her mind, a smile crept on her face. It was wrong to know that a child had been killed but at least Quan would be out of their hairs for a while?especially hers. She didn?t want to baby-sit either Charles or Dani?or so she thought until Quan appeared before her. ?Ms. Han,? Without a single thought, Juliet?s eyes glowed a white-gold. Quan held his hand up in defense and asked, ?weren?t you supposed to look after Charles and Daniel? They almost killed each other and now this place is going up in flames.? That damned slick voice of his irritated Juliet to the point where she wanted to kill someone. She held her tongue and replied with, ?It?s not my fault you can?t keep track of your own subordinates.? Quan straightened up at the sound of this. ?You put them up to this job, not me. My job was to watch them and that didn?t include baby-sitting. If those two wanted to kill each other, my job was to look over them not after, therefore I?m at no fault if they almost did.? Quan caught her by the arm as she walked past him. ?You may be correct on many accounts but make no mistake, my dear, if you want freedom, you?ll need those two.? His grip loosened on her arm and she left there with only that thought. She repeated it over and over, If you want freedom, you?ll need those two. Juliet didn?t know whether to turn around and find him or stand there dazed; albeit, instinctively, the serpents began to wrap themselves around her, creating a protective suit against the smoke and fire. It allowed her to breathe normally and not choke on the black air. She shook her head and walked on. She didn?t need another bastard giving her false hopes. The government was paying one to do that already. Juliet walked through the labyrinth of hallways but only managed to find herself at the Capricorn exhibits. She growled and swore under her breath, knowing she was lost. If there was on thing Juliet hated most it was being lost and to add to that hatred, she was lost in a burning building. Exhaling sharply, she kept walking on down towards the hallway only to meet up with a hazy figure, one that walked towards her as she stopped.

Juliet watched Charles jump out of her still moving car and rolled her eyes as she parked the car. It was still a ways away from the Academy but close enough to get to?in case of anything. She walked towards the entrance, reaching out to open the doors when something within her alerted her. It wasn?t the alert that told her there were others like her around her but one that told her to be cautious. Before, Juliet would?ve never listened to her feelings, her intuition- whatever people called it nowadays- but for some time, it?s what kept her alive. Breathing in deeply, Juliet opened the heavy door and slipped in. The moment she walked in, she became mesmerized by what was around her. For some time, works like that in the Harlem Academy amazed her and put her in wonder and awe. However, this was nothing compared to what she had seen in other museums. These were works created by gods. Listening carefully for footsteps or voices, Juliet walked around in wary but looked around wide-eyed. The Academy was filled with amazing pieces of art, things she had never seen. Finally she set her eyes on one piece that grasped at her soul. Yet, she couldn?t stand and gape for long since someone had spotted her. ?Hey look! It?s that girl from the jail. The one who went up to that scary goth guy!? Juliet turned to see who had spoken and found a young girl pointing at her. Groans and mutters were heard after the little girl had exclaimed that. Juliet looked towards the group and saw Quan. Finally she had seen his face- cold, bitter, and frightening yet not without its near flawless beauty. Quan walked up to Juliet with the group following behind. ?I see you?ve found our most interesting piece yet.? Juliet said nothing, yet the young girl did. ?Hey! Weren?t you the girl who made that guy get all scared in the jail? Why were you there? You weren?t in the fight, were you? How?d you end up here? Do you have powers too? What kind of powers do you have? What?s your?? Fed up with this young girl?s questions, Juliet cut her off by saying, ?Kid, keep asking questions and I?ll rip that tongue out of your mouth.? It was harsh and awful to say to a child but she had no patience for kids of any age. At least it helped to quiet her down, even if it did scare her. The group was now in an awkward silence, one that Juliet despised. She looked around and saw Dani walking around on the catwalk but diverted her eyes to look at the murals hanging above. She then proceeded to asking, ?What sorts of feats were you promising in that ad, Mr.??? ?Therius Quan. I prefer if you call me Quan, though. As for the feats, that?ll be shown at the end of the tour.? When Quan looked at Juliet with his icy eyes and spoke to her with his suave voice, she knew it was the hooded man from before. She scoffed at the thought of this but suddenly realized something was off. Why was Quan here when he had told her to keep an eye on Dani and Charles himself? He was hiding something up his sleeves and it involved her, Charles, Dani, and the others. Albeit, Juliet hated being kept in the dark even if it meant her demise?or others?. When it came to Quan, all was a mystery even his plans, therefore whatever he was planning would have to be seen at the end of the ?tour.?

Someone once told her that everything happened for a reason and that there were no coincidences in life. At that time, Juliet didn?t believe either in fate or in coincidence, she only believed in herself. Yet, as time went on something clicked within her, and she realized that perhaps that someone was right. Perhaps?everything did happen for a reason. As Juliet rode through the streets in her Subaru WRX, she couldn?t help but wonder the events that took place from the day they all met in the jail to today. She had inklings of everything that took place and about the people she met but what she couldn?t place was why or how. It didn?t matter how but she supposed it mattered why. Before heading off to the Harlem Academy, Juliet stopped by the café to grab herself a couple of drinks or a few. As she rode up she saw a blonde haired man in a jacket and gloves, she presumed him to be Charles. Juliet pulled over and stepped out, leaning against her car. His footsteps soon came close to her cars and she called out to him. ?Looking for Dani?? The man stopped and looked at Juliet. He raised a brow as he looked at her, wanting to know what she wanted. ?Unless you?re going into Destiny?s Paradise for a drink or two, you won?t find Dani-boy here.? ?How?d you know I was looking for him?? This pyrokinetic man stepped closer with skepticism in his voice. Juliet grinned a Cheshire Cat smile. ?First off, never ask someone questions like that. It only makes you either look suspicious or stupid. And I think you?re neither. Anyways, get in. I know where he and the others are.? Charles stepped into the car, asking, ?Let me guess, the Harlem Academy?? She merely grinned that devious grin and drove off, turning up the volume and blasting her music loud.

She had seen this?person before in her dreams- not dreams, nightmares. They weren?t nightmares per se but they were just as horrible and twisted if not worse. She knew he sent them to her, allowing her to become provoked, opening doors which she had closed. Somehow she knew him the way he knew her. ?Finally decided to show your face? or lack thereof?? The hooded figure smirked verbally, a strange feat coming from even him. ?What do you want? I?ve had enough insolence for a day.? Juliet stood up and began to walk. ?Besides, I believe we?ve already discussed this before: I have nothing to offer and there?s nothing you can offer me.? Juliet was quick to business, the man liked this. With others he loved playing mind games, taking their sanity and pushing it further and further; but with her, with Juliet, he had a sense to be upfront and swift- in speech of course. ?Come now, Juliet. You and I benefit from each other in so many ways. I told you what I could offer you; all I?m asking in return is just a portion of your trust.? Juliet looked at him skeptically but also in a laughing matter. ?You sent incoherent pictures and worthless images which made absolutely no sense. How could I give you my trust when I still don?t know what you could offer me?? She scoffed and kept walking. He ignored this and crept behind her, slowly and phantom-like. ?Juliet, the reason you don?t know yet is because you haven?t placed the pieces of the puzzle together. Once finished, you?ll understand what it is I can give you. Besides?? Suddenly with one quick movement, Juliet felt as though she was paralyzed and he was standing close behind her, so close that she could feel his breath on her cheek. ?what have you got to lose?? At this Juliet clenched her fists and turned to land a punch in his hidden face but the man was where he originally stood. ?Just keep a close watch on Charles and Daniel, young one. They may be of some use yet.? Angrily, Juliet stood there with clenched hands and blood rushing through her body. She closed her eyes and asked, ?Just exactly how am I supposed to do that? I don?t even know where they are.? Just as quick as he had appeared, in a blink of an eye he was gone, leaving only the words: Find them at the Harlem Academy. With tension building in her body, Juliet released it by punching the mini-column that connected her kitchen counter to her ceiling. She thought, What have I got to lose? That bastard. He knows exactly what I don?t have to lose and yet he plays with the very thought of it. Scoffing like she always does, Juliet grabbed her jacket and walked out. I?d rather die than be a dog for him. But she couldn?t stop thinking about what he had said, something about a puzzle. Could this have been a clue? What exactly was he referring to? She shook her head and grabbed herself a bottle of water and walked out. She was headed for the Harlem Academy?despite what Quan had said. OOC: As for the person in my post, Vicky gave me the A-Ok to go ahead and put him in. He's sort of a...surprise yet not. You'll have to wait and see exactly who this man is.

Walking out of the apartment complex with a satisfied smile on her face, Juliet found herself underneath a street sign. Looking up at it, it reminded her that she had no idea where she was. Groaning, she read the words that were held within the green sign and cursed aloud. She was on the opposite side of where she was before. She looked down the street and soon found a cab, with a snap of her fingers and a flick of her wrist, it stopped before her. She stepped into the yellow and black car with discontent. The driver asked her where she wanted to go and then went on with routine questions when strangers sat in the back seat: How are you; nice weather we?re having, right; and other such questions. She merely answered with short answers and looked out the window, watching the world pass her by. Finally, she came to her destination and the comforts of her home. She thought back to what had happened earlier and a smile crept on her face. She wasn?t like most girls. In fact, she wasn?t like a girl- or so people said. Juliet loved to fight, give pain, and blow things up- go figure. She loved watching people writhe in pain as she looked at them with pleasure. How she had enjoyed giving that guy pain. ?You take pleasure in pain too much, my dear.? Juliet merely scoffed at the sound of this voice. ?But it seems to suit you well, daughter of Ophiuchus.? She sat up and found herself looking at a hooded figure with a voice so subtle and slick yet dangerous and deviant.

Welcome to the OB Anthology, monipo1928. It's nice to see new faces and new stories. Say, have you read OB Anthology Basics sticky? Just in case you haven't, I've provided a link. ^_^ Inside the sticky is information that'll help guide you around the Arena. More over, it's a wonderful place that can help you figure out what's required for a thread, such as a Thread Rating. A thread rating is the most important thing needed, without one a thread is void and will be closed. The ratings go as: E, PG, and M. I'm sure you were in a hurry and forgot it, no worries. But remember it next time, it's one of those "Get out of jail free" cards. Unfortunately, you're thread isn't granted one and has to be closed. Nonetheless, you cna revive it by recreating it with the proper rating. If this seems like too much information all at once, feel free to PM me or Lady Asphyxia. We're here to help. Stall. That?s what Juliet had to do. She didn?t know how and she definitely didn?t know what but she knew she had to. This man, Zane, was hiding something else up his sleeve. There was no question and no doubt about it, only that there was a reason behind his taking her to this place. But it didn?t matter, at least not to Juliet. She sat back and cracked her neck, never taking her eyes off of him. She began putting the pieces together, slowly but surely. Though she didn?t quite get everything in order, she knew that Zane had made a mistake in bringing Juliet with him, even with this ?realm? surrounding them. Not even his power could save the fate that was in store for him. It?s amazing how stupid men can be sometimes. How pompous, arrogant, and egotistic they are. She looked him over slowly, noticing each feature carefully. Somehow I pity him but I also?admire him. Strange. Juliet couldn?t make heads or tails of this man. He sat there with this coy smile on his face and played with Juliet like he was the puppeteer. She detested him, albeit she didn?t know him, but somehow she was?charmed by him. At final glance, her eyes locked with his and in moment, she was drowning in them, captivated by its strange sparkle. She shook her head and brought herself back to reality. She smirked then and breathed in deeply to bring herself back. Then it hit her. Everything was making sense now. Juliet merely stared with raised brow and coquettish smile all the while the wheels turning in her mind. It intrigued her to know that he could?ve created such a place and still live in it. Then again, perhaps he was able to or he couldn?t live without it. There were many possibilities as to why this place existed. Even so, too many things were out of place and not enough information arose to process the things Juliet had an inkling of. Yet it wasn?t hard to know that Zane brought her here for the reason that if he managed to intimidate her or somehow get her to acknowledge the fact that if she moved around freely unknowingly that she could die instantly from one false move, he?d have her right where he?d want her: submissive yet wary. How wrong he was to think that. ?I?ve thought about your offer and my answer is no.? She put her leg down and leaned closer, though not close enough to Zane. ?Whatever you?re going to do, you can do by yourself. I?m not interested.? He half-smiled at this. ?As for my name?? Juliet reached her hand out and touched his face, saying ?What?s in a name? That which we call a rose by any other would smell as sweet.? She then stood up and acted as if she was going to walk away but instead sent a spin-kick to Zane?s temple, knocking him out temporarily. With a satisfied and sly smile on her face, Juliet left saying, ?Good night, good night. Parting is such sweet sorrow.?

Something about this man wasn?t right, yet after what had happened in the past two days nothing seemed right. But just the thought of the world ?realm? sent intense prickles on the back of Juliet?s neck. She knew that this man?s realm was nothing compared to the one Dani subsided in?but they were similar. She couldn?t help but feel?helpless and almost timid in the comforts- or discomforts- of his home or wherever they were. The man had an eerie smirk strewn across his face. It implied so many things yet held so little. It reminded her of how her smirk appeared, how it intimidated and confused people. Even the way he moved about the room, the way he spoke, it all reminded her of?her. Her body tensed when he came and sat on the arm of the couch she was laying on. She couldn?t bring her guard down again, not this time. What a strange atmosphere. There?s an inkling of blood lust but?but it?s different. He?s different. With great strain, Juliet propped herself up and was now eye level with the man. ?Do I have a choice?? she asked. He chuckled and answered, ?No, I guess you don?t.? He folded his leg and looked her over, as if he were a lion peering over his prey. ?So then, let me show you my wonders.? She readied herself for what was to come. Even if she couldn?t move well, she was capable of bringing pain by any means necessary. She wouldn?t allow him to cause her to falter again. Not when her life could be or is at stake. Their eyes locked on to each other. Neither broke away and neither blinked. It was as if time itself stood as their battle began to rise. It was then that Juliet realized perhaps there was a chance for her to be dominant again. Hopefully, he hadn?t caught wind of her confident demeanor that neither changed in body language nor facial expression. Hopefully, he?d go on with his part and allow Juliet?s to begin soon. The man leaned towards Juliet, who tensed slightly but noticeably. He half-smiled at her, cunningly and playfully. It was one like a puppeteer?s- mischievous, daring, and playful. She couldn?t stop staring; something about it drew her in. His hand reached forward and touched a stray hair. That was when Juliet grabbed his wrist and let the snakes toss him to the ground, pinning him there. ?Your childish tricks are boring me, kid.? With a crack here and a crack there, Juliet was now sitting upright and in a position she felt comfortable in: leg crossed and arms folded. ?I haven?t figured out what you meant by ?realm? but it doesn?t matter. As for my curiosity, that?s none of your business. What I find interesting is my own personal agenda and no one else?s.? Switching legs, she stated, ?If you have a problem with that, then do something about it.? ?Don?t mind if I do.?
-
OOC: I don?t mind, Veritas. In fact, it made things a bit more interesting for my post. ^_^. ?Admit it?you were curious to see if you were really alone, weren?t you?? Somehow this man had a sudden smug look on his face, as if he were a cat that cornered a mouse with no way out. Juliet, on the other hand, turned away from the man with a smirk on her face. She kept on walking knowing he would follow. Indeed he did, he trailed behind her like a wandering stray seeking affection and attention, except this man wasn?t looking for either of them. She could tell he was waiting for her reply and was becoming impatient by her silence. Eventually he grabbed her by the shoulder and spun her to face him. ?First of all, I don?t like following people and not knowing where we?re going and second of all?? Gently pushing his hand off her shoulder, Juliet put on a polite yet deviant smile and said, ?First of all, I never asked you to follow me. You were the one who did so by his own accord. Second of all, to answer your quote-unquote ?question??no.? She turned around and kept walking, this time at a slower pace. The man followed suit beside her. He opened his mouth to speak but was cut off by her, ?To answer the question you were about to ask, I wasn?t curious to know if I was the only one or not but it was some other curiosity that drove me to be there?? Juliet turned a quick glance at him. ?probably much like the one you have.? The man?s body language changed in subtlety but Juliet noticed. She faced forward again and eventually stopped before a wide stairway leading to an arched building. Again, he opened his mouth to question but was left hanging when Juliet began up the stairway. She led him through a maze of hallways until they exited to a tiered garden?no, it was a tiered cemetery. Juliet walked along the path until she got down to the second tier. She eventually came upon two distinct headstones. She had a smile on her face that seemed different from the one she wore earlier. It was almost nostalgic and sorrowful. ?Earlier you were going to ask me what we?re doing here.? Her eyes never left the two head stones. The smile never left. ?I?m not psychic- or at least I don?t think I have such powers. Its common sense to ask what one is doing at a cemetery, even if they don?t know the person. And basically?? She lifted her face and looked at him. The man saw sadness, guilt, and anger written all over her face all the while looking at her smile. ?I?m paying my respects to the people who died?because of me.? ?I?m?sorry.? was all he could say?or at least think of what to say. He exhaled slightly and cursed under his breath when she turned back. He looked at her and asked, ?Were they people you knew?? ?Yes,? she replied. He waited for more but received none when he noticed her walking back towards the building. Soon they were winding around the same hallway but the man stopped Juliet. ?They died because your power, didn?t they?? No reply. He asked again, ?Didn?t they?? She turned slowly with eyes glowing and answered, ?Yes. They died because I didn?t know how to control this godforsaken demon?s blessing of mine.? She walked closer towards him. ?They died because I couldn?t control my anger.? Still closer. ?My friends died because I got into a fight with a rat bastard instead of walking away from his idiotic antics.? Finally, she was about less than two feet from him. ?The people who saw me as more than just a problematic person died?because?of?me.? ?I?m not sure what happened to them or what you did to that freak in the jail cell but I sure as hell know now you have a power.? The man took a step closer and raised his brow this time. ?Since I now know?I?m not taking any chances.? Before Juliet could react, the man pursed his lips and breathed lightly on her face. She suddenly went limp in his arms in a matter of moments. ?Sweet dreams, Sleeping Beauty.?

What You Want For Christmas THIS YEAR
Revelation replied to DeadSeraphim's topic in General Discussion
MMM...LG White Chocolate. It's quite possibly one of the most sexiest phones I've ever seen. In fact, it is the most sexiest phone. Now, I haven't asked for anything...yet. However, what I want is a different story. Actually, come to think of it, I have no idea what I want. Like Dead said, the sparkle of Christmas just isn't there and that includes the sparkle of present. Other than the obvious: money, gift cards, and my boyfriend; I guess I'd want a MacBook, a new digital camera, sais [just because those are wicked awesome], America McGee's Alice in Wonderland, and, just for the heck of it, a punching bag. And then there's anything remotely related to The Nightmare Before Christmas...and just to make it sound crazy: a Suzuki Hayabusa. -
Hey there Kaos Anarchy. You?ve come to the right place. A good way to figure out where a thread should be is by reading the stickies seen at the top. If you haven't already checked out the OB Anthology's sticky, Click Here. I'm glad you decided to post your thread here. The Anthology needed some new stuff but it seems like you?re missing something. One of the main things that a thread in the Arena, in general, needs is a Thread Rating. A thread rating lets others know what main category it falls under. The main ones are: E, PG, and M. Once in a while, someone forgets to put it in and it has to be closed because that?s the rule. Any thread without a rating will be closed. The good news is that you can recreate your thread with the proper rating. So, if you have any questions, comments, or just need to know something you can PM me. I?m available to ?be your guide?, so to speak. THREAD CLOSED.

Juliet smirked as her index finger circled the rim of her glass. She looked up and drank the last of the contents in her glass before answering this person. However, just as she was about to two men walked in and caused her to become distracted. Once they sat down, she became disinterested yet couldn?t shake the feelings she?d been feeling the moment she walked into the bar. Heh. As if things weren?t strange enough as it is; this place is like a light for the moths. Juliet clinked the ice in her glass and caught the bartender?s attention, who had already prepared the same drink for her. With a half-smile, Juliet took a drink. ?My being at the jail cell doesn?t mean I have powers, whatever you may think, but it doesn?t mean I don?t have them.? ?So?then you do?? The man seemed a bit surprised yet excited by her answer. ?It?s no coincidence that we all ended up there, you know?? Again, she smirked. ?There?s no such thing as coincidence, only the inevitable. But?I could be asking you the same thing.? She put her glass down and looked at the man with a raised brow. She waited for a sign of body language or even an answer but received none. This man knew how to keep it under control?or so he thought. She eyed this man carefully and tried to catch something different about him?but she couldn?t. Finishing her drink, Juliet laid her money on the counter. ?Keep the change.? she said and she began to walk out, leaving the man to wonder.
-
?Good morning ma?am, what will you be drinking today?? Just as Juliet had felt a spine-chilling feeling yesterday, she had felt a prickle trail down her back. She looked up to see who had spoken to her and found a warm smile belonging to a tall?boy, as she categorized any male younger than her. She knew instantly, though, that this boy had a power like the goth- and probably like the rest of the ones in the jail. ?I?ll be drinking a Kahlua Bomb.? The bartender nodded and went on to making her drink. Juliet couldn?t help but wonder what his power was yet she dared not ask. Instead, she bade him through conversation to get him to open up. ?So where?s the regular bartender?? ?He called in sick today. I guess I?ll have to do for now.? The bartender turned and handed Juliet her drink. She took small sips at first but suddenly downed it as if it was nothing. ?Another?? Juliet shook her glass and the bartender took it. He chuckled asking, ?I never knew anyone came to drink this early in the morning.? ?Well, I?m not anyone.? Juliet said with a raised brow and glass to her lips. The bartender chuckled again and went on to cleaning out the glasses as Juliet drank her second glass. Just then the doors opened and from the corner of her eye, Juliet saw the figure of a man. She got the same feeling from him as she did from the bartender. No doubt this man was also one with power. She felt him sit beside her as she finished her second drink. She made no indication of acknowledging him nor did he.

I should mention something about Juliet's power. For one, it's a near replica of Raven's powers from Teen Titans. Juliet has the capability of doing almost Raven can except she can't fly and doesn't possess precognition. Two, she has the ability to take life and restore it but can only restore life seconds after it happens. Another thing about her power is that she uses snakes the way Raven uses dark matter. As well as that...hmm, I remember vaguely something about Rogue's power being in there but I can't grasp what it was. ^_^;;; Nonetheless, if anyone has any questions about Juliet's power, ask away. And I've already cleared it up with Vicky so there's no need to go on a fret.

Breathe in the black smoke, Juliet. It was dark. It felt humid and thick. Wherever she was, she couldn?t see a thing. There was also a dense black fog, almost like? ?Smoke?! What the hell?? She soon started to cough. ?What the hell is this shit?? A ghoulish laughter disrupted her one track questions. Juliet looked around but knew she wouldn?t find anything through the thick smoke. She strained to see anything, strained to find at least a silhouette. But to no avail could she see anything. Her fists clenched as she stepped further into the smoke but stopped when she heard a voice. Didn?t I tell you that I?ll make you see things demons have nightmares about? Anger set in as the fog began to clear. She wasn?t one for games?especially in her own dream. Yet somehow the voice sensed this. Don?t get your knickers in a bunch, love. It?ll all be over soon. The fog had finally cleared and she could finally see, even what was in front of her. It was the man from the jail cell, the one who put his hands on her. Juliet?s eyes glow a white-gold as snakes coiled around her. He stood there with that devilish smirk on his face. She tried to use her powers but something was wrong, she couldn?t breathe and the darkness was closing in on her. Something was pulling her into the dark depths. Fear set in as Juliet tried to pull away. She wasn?t the type to be afraid of anything yet this man was using what she hated, what she feared the most against her. He watched her writhe in torture and torment, laughing at her. At that same time, disturbing images ran through her mind. They were exactly the ones that she ran away from, hiding them in the darkest recesses of her mind. That was what she did. She ran. She ran to hide from the things that she tried to get away from. She ran to get away from the screams, the people?the darkness. But eventually, she grew tired and it got a hold of her. The shadows grew to fingers, then hands, and soon a body. Then as it said, ?I won?t go away. I?ll keep coming back?? his face appeared before hers and his hands grabbed the sides of her head, ?for you.? Juliet woke up in cold sweat as she laid in bed with her eyes opened. She knew she was able to handle the strenuous activity the guy put on her but she didn?t know how it would affect her afterwards. Juliet sat up and ran her fingers through her hair, cursing in Korean as she looked at her alarm. She knew her power could help her calm the nightmares but what else could it do? With a slight growl, Juliet pulled the sheets off and walked to the windows, opening the blinds to look out at the dark city below. She knew that below her, that man was lurking to find the others. She knew that he?d eventually come to her. Turning to the wall nearest her, she slammed her fist into it. Looking at her fist, she scoffed and walked into her bathroom, turning on the shower. + + + + + Just as she had predicted, it began to sprinkle. She pulled her hood over her head and began to walk. Where was she going? She hadn?t a clue. She merely let her feet take her wherever and wherever she ended, was where she was going to be?for the time being. Words flowed into her empty yet full mind and cleared the thoughts from her head. Rhythm replaced stress, beat replaced wonder, and music replaced everything. A smile crept on her face as she finally reached her destination. Juliet pushed open the door and walked into the club/bar/restaurant. She pulled her hood off and set herself on one of the seats, waiting patiently for the bartender.

A glint sparkled in his eyes and something in it gave off a strange feeling. Following his gaze, Juliet saw a boy walk towards one of the cells with keys in hand. Seeing this, Juliet groaned and shouted ?Hey!? as she let go of the man roughly. The boy tightened his grip on the keys as Juliet walked towards him. Everyone looked their way as Juliet finally stopped in front of him with arms crossed, right leg slightly bent. ?He-he told me to get the keys.? A frightened boy stood before Juliet, who rolled her eyes slightly. ?I was going to let her out and?? He was cut off by Juliet who said, in a sarcastic tone, ?And then you?re going to tell me it wasn?t your fault, begging for forgiveness as if I was some sort of priest.? The boy?s eyes averted Juliet?s when she said this. She merely rolled her eyes and raised a brow, a ?talent? she always wore on her face. ?Put the keys back, you sophomoric child. There?s no use for them here.? Turned back to the people, Juliet began to walk towards the gothic but did not hear the boy?s. She stopped and said in simple words that even a child could understand, ?Put them back in their place or I?ll put you in yours.? Still he did not move, only clenching the keys in his hands. He was scared and Juliet had a slight inkling as to why. ?If you?re scared of Mr. Boogeyman over there, don?t be. Just put them back and no one gets in trouble? including you.? Finally the boy left and Juliet was left alone with the group of misfits. She walked back to the dark man?s cell and looked at him as if he were some sort of amusing animal. This angered him, in fact Juliet saw the words kill and destroy written on his face. A chuckle later, he stood in front of her with hands wrapped around a bar. ?I?m glad you?re finding all of this amusing.? Juliet stepped towards him and smirked. He merely looked her over?slowly. ?Aren?t you scared that I might grab that pretty little head of yours and mess it up?? ?Aren?t you scared that I might grab yours and taste that fresh blood?? She murmured quietly. The man chuckled as if to say ?touché.? Juliet watched him push himself off of the bars and stretch as he walked around in his cell. She continued her ?conversation.? ?You didn?t answer my question. Can you or can you not do anything extraordinary? And don?t give me crap.?

Seconds later, the sound of a person echoed in Juliet?s ears. She sound of her motorcycle engine mixed with the echoing voice, as did the sirens and shouts. Moments later, she opened her eyes but the visions before her were blurred. From what she could tell, her helmet had been removed and was raised. Her eyes moved around, trying to grasp whatever clear image they could find. They finally rested on the person above and began to clear. It was then that Juliet had realized someone was holding her head, that someone was touching her. Without a thought, a fist was raised and met with the person?s face. Sitting up straight, Juliet looked at the person who held his nose, cursing. She shook her head once and rolled her eyes at the same time, only to realize what she had done. Yet, she scoffed and stood up, dusting herself off as she did. As she bent down to pick up her helmet, a muffled shout caught her attention. ?What the hell?!? The man stood up still holding his broken nose. ?People usually apologize after they accidentally punched someone!? He was furious and bleeding. Juliet raised her brow and replied, ?It was your fault for touching me,? and began to walk away. A hand then caught her arm and turned her around. Her eyes glow a white gold again when the man faced Juliet again. ?Don?t?touch me.? Frightened, he stepped away and Juliet put her helmet on. Blinking once, her glowing white gold eyes disappeared. She looked to the place where the fight took and saw that the snakes disappeared. ?Time to have a talk with Christianson.? Speeding down the street, Juliet took a few shortcuts, zooming through red lights, and finally ending up at the police station. A chuckling smirk was plastered on her face as she walked in. Her only thought being, ?I?ll bet that bunch of wild bastards are giving him a run for his money. I sure as hell did.? ?Jiminy Cricket?come out, come out wherever you are!? Everyone in the station looked towards her way and exhaled heavily. She knew they knew who she was; in fact she was unforgettable to them. Juliet kept calling out, ?Jiminy Cricket? until her ?favorite? officer stood before her with arms on hips. ?What are you doing here, Juliet?? Still with that famous smirk on her face, she replied, ?Just here to see my favorite patrol officer.? Officer Christianson sighed and held the bridge of his nose with his fingers. The smirk then disappeared and in all seriousness, she said, ?I want to see the people from the fight earlier.? Knowing there was no use in arguing with Juliet Officer Christianson led her to the holding cell where everyone was held. The cell officers stood to protest but were silenced by their prevailing officer. Juliet stood with arms crossed, eyes evaluating and identifying.

The man jotted down notes, scribbling things on the clipboard that was laid out atop his legs. Juliet slumped into the couch as she always had and watched as he quickly wrote; knowing that it had meant her session was coming to an end. Once finished, he looked up and said, ?You?re progressing very well, Juliet.? With a fake smile, Juliet stood up and began to walk towards the door. ?I?ll see you next week? was the last thing she heard from him before exiting out to the world. Looking to the sky, Juliet exhaled and began to walk down the street. The air was a bit chilly but she didn?t mind, in fact she found it a comfort while she walked to the garage where her Kawasaki Ninja was parked. However, she did mind how the rain had been inconsistent, changing its pattern every moment. She would rather have it pouring then changing every interval of a minute. Sighing again, Juliet straddled the seat of her bike and adjusted her helmet before riding down the street. Turning on a corner, a sudden spine-chilling feeling came over her. It wasn?t the feeling of fear, dread, and all other negativity put together, no it was one of amusement. Still riding down the street, Juliet suddenly encountered a feat so grand to her left. Normally, she would have rode off without bothering to give a second glance at petty street fights but something about this one beckoned her to come closer, and she did. Juliet got as close as she could and slowed down, watching the movements of the two men. Within a few seconds of the watching, she noticed that both were undeniably ?special.? With a smirk on her face, Juliet?s eyes began to glow a white-gold but returned to her natural colors shortly after. In thought, an intervention was beckoned for, albeit it was not the time to play games with people whom she had no information about. Sighing, as she always did, Juliet began to pick up speed and started to go off again when her powers had begun to go astray. ?Not now.? was all she could think to say as something began to coil around the things and people near her, like the girl standing behind the gothic man. I?m late, I?m late for a very important date. Heh. Sorry, Vick. Creative muse hasn?t been here a while, you?ll have to excuse my poor creativity. ^_^;;

Oddly enough, an emblem of a rose is seen on the bottom of the hilt. Protruded around the whip are spikes that secrete poison when it comes in contact with anything- flesh or not. The spikes also have a way with grasping its target and tearing through its flesh or whatever outer layer they may have. Usually, Neutria keeps it around her waist and wears it like a belt. Name- Juliet Han Age- 24 Star Sign- Ophiuchus Powers/Night- November 30 Life for Juliet was unpredictable. One night she and a group of friends would be at an extravagant party, then another night they?d be found out on the waters during a bad storm. For Juliet and her friends, the nightlife was their life. It was what they thrived for but that particular night, one of Juliet?s friends had prepared a surprise. Though she wasn?t one for surprises, Juliet decided to go along with this façade and follow her friend, only to end up at a tattoo/piercing parlor. A small glint in her eye was all that her friend needed to know that bringing her there was the perfect gift. However, once she and her friend began to leave, an unspeakable terror occurred. Waking up in a cold sweat, Juliet looked around only to find the parlor filled with snakes and unconscious people. But the odd thing of it all was that she didn?t feel a tiny bit of fear; in fact there wasn?t a sliver of emotion that exuded from her. Yet upon seeing her friend, lying on the floor- though she wasn?t dead- brought back the emotion of shock. Through this emotion, Juliet somehow caused the unconscious people to awaken and the snakes to disappear. Confused yet filled with wonderment, Juliet has to experience the full extent of her powers or even experience the majority of her powers. Yet it has become known that the longer she uses her powers and the more she uses her powers, the more exhausted she becomes. As well as that if she was to come in contact with a large group of people like her, the harder it becomes for her to control her power. But, one thing that is known is that due to the suppression of her pain during the time she was getting her tattoo is the result of her eternal suppression of emotions. Appearance- Juliet; Juliet 2 [Juliet in a more contemporary outfit.] Personality- One could say that Juliet is a being of two personalities or that she possesses two polar opposite personalities, and both would be true. Juliet?s personality revolves around the day and the night. During the day, she is a professional in personality and in appearance, speaking with a kind yet authoritative voice. She holds her head high and lets nothing stand in the way of her goals and accomplishments. While during the night, she is a rampaging thrill-seeker going on random adventures with friends. She cares nothing for what anyone says nor does she care for the risks involved in the things she does. In essence, Juliet is a complex being who could be kind one moment but turn into a feral person the next. One could suppose that it all depends on the environment around her to see what sort of person she is, yet they?ll never know who she truly is. Biography/Sample- ?Tell me, Juliet, about that night.? The sound of his voice irritated her. She never liked coming to him and relaying her past to him. In fact, she didn?t like him at all. He was just another lackey of the government sent to maintain her ?good behavior.? ?Juliet?? She sighed and opened her eyes, knowing that he would just sit there waiting for her answer. ?Which night?? She was recumbent on the black velvet Victorian couch when he had asked her that question and like every session she?s had with him, she returned his question with a question before delving into her answer. He narrowed his broad question to, ?Tell me what happened a week after your birthday.? He sat there, pencil ready to jot down notes. Still laid down on the couch, Juliet closed her eyes again. She listened to the sounds around, the squeaking chair in which he sat in, the honking cars below, just everything around her. Before she replied, her mind fled back to that night. No matter how hard she tried, it wasn?t possible to forget. Juliet presumed it was only because he kept asking but there was a sliver of her being that said otherwise. ?It was a week after my birthday?? Juliet knew she was talking about the past event but for some reason, she felt her subconscious slipping away. To where? She didn?t know? maybe she did. + + + + + The rain was pouring and a group of girls ran across the street to a nearby club. They were filled with laughter and joy, chattering up a storm while they dried themselves off before entering the club. It had been a week since the strange incident which happened on her birthday but Juliet thought nothing of it and went on to have a night with her friends. The music blared loudly as people danced to the beat. A couple of Juliet?s friends walked over to the bar, while the rest of them moved towards the gathering crowd of dancers. They danced their hearts out as they always did and eventually sat down moments later panting and fanning their faces. They laughed and talked about who wore the hottest item and things that girls normally talked about. It was a night filled with nothing but fun?but that came to a stall. Upon entering the dance floor again, one of Juliet?s friends had been approached by a man whom she didn?t know. Juliet could hear her friend respond with a ?No thanks? repeatedly, indicating that perhaps the man asked her to get a drink or dance with him. However, because she kept rejecting him he became agitated and grabbed her arm and pulled her close to him. Frightened her friend struggled to pull away, causing a slightly large scene, enabling a defense mechanism in Juliet who was quite protective. Getting in between the two, Juliet said threateningly, ?Stay away from her.? The man snickered and stepped towards Juliet who stood in her place and said once more, ?I said stay away from her.? Grabbing her friend?s hand, she looked the man in the eye. ?I won?t repeat myself again.? With that she began to take her friend away until she felt a tug on her shoulder and a blur striking her in the face. A few gasps and cursing came from behind Juliet; running footsteps were heard as well. Juliet stood there as if everything was going through slow-motion. She held her face while hands tried to pull her away. The man stood there with his arms crossed and the dancers became onlookers interested in the event that was to happen. A smirk seemed to be plastered on the man?s face, as if it were mocking her for being a woman. Somehow the words that came out of his mouth were barely heard, in fact the sounds around her began to fade except for, ?Know your place, *****.? and that would be the last thing she heard before a sudden rage replaced her slow-motion shock. Whilst the rage consumed her, a power within seemed to build up within. ?You are not my master.? She responded. ?You nor anyone else has the right to tell me to know my place.? The man looked at Juliet with a raised brow. ?You don?t have the right?? she looked up with glowing white gold eyes, ?to call me a *****.? After saying the last word, everything had become a haze. The next few moments were a blur but when coming to her senses, a man laid before her and snakes crawled everywhere. The people around her unconscious as they were in the parlor. + + + + + Still lying on the Victorian couch, Juliet knew she had finished her story. She heard him scribbling down some things. With a soft sigh, she stood up and began to walk towards the door. "So I guess I'll be seeing you next week, Doc?"

My family doesn't celebrate Halloween. We just give out candy, go to church, and come home...but that was when I was 8 years old. Normally, I just hang out with the friends and go trick-or-treating- if we feel like it. But nowadays, we just go to parties. However, this year I want to dress up as American McGee's Alice and walk around like that. Yes, that'd probably get some stares and all but, it's not my fault I'm strange >).
