1. Everything around Shiro Oni seemed to falter and blur, as if he were dropping in and out of hypnosis. The sedative was mild but worked like a charm, as the senior ranking ninja would say. It was quite difficult but Shiro Oni had been under greater stress and sedation than this, perhaps this worked out for the best. He had to carefully evade Black Fire for quite some time until the sedative wore off or until he was near the Pagoda, which would then result in his favor or maybe his downfall. It all merely depended on getting to the Pagoda. As Shiro Oni took great leaps from branch to branch in a stealthy mode, he noticed movement slightly to the east of him but didn?t stop to ponder what it may have been for he knew exactly what was coming that way. With a smirk on his face, he tried with great strain to keep from faltering in his focus and balance but it made it difficult for him to do anything and at that point, he could have failed to even catch a breath, would it not have been for the training he had taken with his clan. It was difficult but somehow, Shiro Oni managed, knowing that he had to get to the Pagoda before he saw Black Fire, but it was too late. As he was scouting, he was spotted and he spotted Black Fire. The two went into a quick combat until Black Fire fell down into a pond near the Pagoda with Shiro jumping down before him and walking towards him with caution in his eyes and his weapons ready to counter or attack, Black Fire did the same as well, knowing that they would have to battle at some point but hoping that they had done it after one or the other had gotten the gem. ?You?re strong. This should be an interesting fight.? Black Fire had a slight English accent but was mostly covered by his sophisticated tone. Shiro acknowledged what Black Fire had said and watched his moves carefully but knew that he couldn?t make heads or tails until he was about two meters away, which would then allow Shiro enough time to act, using only his resources of the land and ears. Black Fire positioned his blade vertically to the right and dashed at Shiro. Shiro prepared himself and at that exact moment when Black Fire lunged and sliced downward, Shiro was able to leap gently over Black Fire?s shoulder and using the momentum to throw him over Shiro?s shoulders and watching Black Fire stumble but land on his feet with precision. Shiro also acknowledged that Black Fire was skilled in a delicate and graceful art of fighting that he had also come to known by watching a few of the women spar with each other or battle against their rivaling clans. ?You have great power, Black Fire. I can see that this will be a formidable battle between the two of us. I hope that you will allow me to enjoy the moment.? Still indifferent in emotion, Shiro bowed his head slightly but still kept an eye on Black Fire. A brow rose on Black Fire?s face but still he could see that Shiro was going to take the combat seriously just as he would in any occasion. ?Then, shall we?? The two prepared themselves for the battle to come, with Black Fire placing his Zeromus in an elegant stance and position and Shiro Oni sheathing his wakizashi in its rightful place and replacing his empty hands with his katana, its name being Nokigirizame- saw shark.
2. The quiet humming of the machines always soothed Angelina in a strange way, giving her some sort of peace from the reality she lived in. It always helped to know that she could escape from the world she currently lived in, allowing herself to become enwrapped in the virtual world known as Digimon. She could still remember, vividly, the first time she had ever participated in this unorthodox fantasy, how the machine prepared itself and powered up to make itself useful and how she laid herself down into the machine, allowing it to ?hook her up? to the virtual world and bring herself to become one with virtual reality. It was almost as if it were more than just a dream but as if it were reality itself. It felt real for everything and anything she felt, touched, smelt was real. She knew that no one would understand how she felt in this real world, how everyone expected so much from her and how she could give so little to fulfill everyone?s wishes. She knew that no one would comprehend all that she?s been through, not even her parents for what did they know? All they cared about was the perfect image of a family- a wealthy husband, a beautiful trophy wife, and the gift from God that they were given, nothing was good enough for them, it had to be perfect but perfect can only exist within one ultimate persona, who just happens to be God but just happens that she doesn?t wholly believe in him. Digimon was the only escape she had and before she began, she had learned of this from a friend on the internet, who explained how the entire objective of this game was and soon found herself wrapped up in the world of virtual reality but there was one thing that blocked her from ever experiencing the distinct euphony of this game and that was the permission of her parents. She knew they would never allow her to do such a thing and knew that if she had even asked, it would result in punishment. So, instead of asking, she?d merely write permission by herself and have her parents? sign it without them ever knowing what it was about and explain to them that she was volunteering at a facility that enabled her to further her knowledge of technology, sociology, and whatnot. In the end, it all worked out for here Angelina was, four years later from then, still entertaining herself with Digimon, taking away the stress that she carried and putting it all away here. She slowly closed her eyes and with a deep breath, all of reality soon became dark. Slowly opening her eyes, Angel could see that she was back in the virtual world and within that world was Wormmon who placed himself on the shoulders of Reichmon, the befriended Warrior digimon, and beside him was RhodoKnightmon, a digimon whom Angel befriended, someone who loved to fight. ?We?ve managed to learn new information from the digimon that live here!? The gruff, almost growling, voice of Reichmon sounded. ?Where are we off to next?? ?First, the information. Should I not know it before we leave?? Angel sounded cold, almost indifferent to her digimon as she would have been in reality. The digimon didn?t seem to care; they were nearly just as cold as she, if not parallel to her in personality. Angel waited for their answer. ?Well? The information, if you please.? ?We?ve been notified of a battle competition in the nearby city, a valuable reward for the winner of the competition. What the reward is is uncertain but I suppose it?s worth a try.? RhodoKnightmon spoke in an elegant fashion, almost as if she was of high order, speaking in a floral voice with soft tones yet having harsh accents beneath the voice. ?Oh, by the way, I?ve been notified by one of the Kiwimon that the city ahead is ruled by an iron-fisted digimon.? Nodding her head, Angel looked to the direction of the flying bird digimon in the sky. She then looked in that direction and saw a small, yet tall structure in the horizon not far off from where she and her digimon were at. She closed her eyes and felt the breeze pass her by and as she opened her eyes, she directed her digimon to follow in that direction, knowing that she was bound to find a fight or two on the way and become entwined with battles within the city. It only pleased her so much to know what she was getting herself into, knowing that she couldn?t afford not to have a look-see of what this competition may be.

4. The streets were crowded as usual and people were rushing, buying groceries, selling food, clothes, and whatever else they can find. The smells of spices, sweets, and different kinds of vegetables arose into the air and wafted against Zhen?s nose, filling with the familiar aroma that she had once known years ago, before she had departed from her family and the emotional torment she had endured from them. Yet, the familiarity had once again given way to sadness of leaving her family and only speaking with them for brief moments and only meeting on birthdays and special occasions, other than that never seeing them for social meetings. It almost pained her to walk through the streets, reminiscing the times she spent with her siblings, holding their hands as they walked with their mother on a beautiful spring afternoon, taking in the bright sunshine and cool breeze. But, there wasn?t much that she could do since it was her decision to leave her family behind and start a new life without pain and grief. Still walking through, Zhen began to think as to how naïve she was to think she could leave the pain behind with her family when it would only be a gray cloud that hovered above her head. It didn?t matter where she went, that guilt would still linger in her heart, the guilt that showed how ignorant she was to her mother?s pleas and her sisters? cries, the ones that cut through her like a blade into her heart. It was almost too much to bear until her cell phone rang. The number that was shown was unknown and there was no number determining where it came from, so with a skeptical thought, Zhen picked it up, cautious as to who called. ?Feels good to be out and about, right, to be away from the cold sweats, the abrupt mornings... the nightmares?? Confusion began to set in and Zhen furrowed her brows slightly, listening to this voice, which sounded masculine. ?I know everything about you, Zhen. I know you have two younger, female siblings- twins, if I?m correct. You also have one biological parent, a mother, and a stepfather, who your mother married two years after your father?s death. And then I know that you were with your father the morning he died. You held onto the white cat doll that your father gave you for your birthday and when they stormed into your house, he threw you into the closet and told you to stay quiet and not to leave the room until the police came because your father was with the police, the chief of them actually. You also saw what they did to him, how they tortured him into giving him information but he wouldn?t say anything right? Then they killed him and you wanted to scream but knew that if you did, you?d be killed too. Am I right?? A chuckle came from the voice that sent chills down her spine but that wasn?t what made her become cold, it was the fact that he knew all of this when she had never told anyone, not even the police or her mother. ?From the silence, I?ll say I?m right and move on.? Before the voice could say anything again, Zhen quickly spoke. ?Whoever you are, don?t call me. I don?t know what you want but if I find out who this is, I?m coming after you. I?ll make you pay thinking you can pull this ?funny shit.? ?Cute, Zhen, cute. Now, I think you should know that before you start making accusations and assumptions that your family has been killed. They?re dead and by the way, it?s your fault.? At that moment, Zhen?s eyes widened to the extreme, she gripped the phone tightly and held it, knowing that the blood within her was boiling and warming the shivers that she took one minutes before. There wasn?t a bit of sorrow or angst, nor was there disbelief just anger and the want to kill, the dark feeling of grasping whoever was speaking to her and strangling him, making him wish he had never spoke with her, a feeling not felt so long since the past. ?You should calm down, my Chinese delicacy. I mean, wasn?t it you that wished your family was dead and no longer in your life? Isn?t that what you wanted?? Silence beheld the words that Zhen could not say. The voice found this amusing and almost took it in with great satisfaction. ?Well, it doesn?t matter anyways. I?ll talk to you again soon, my little Jade dragon.? Zhen held onto the phone with anger, there was fire burning in her eyes but people around her didn?t notice. She turned her cell phone off and walked through the crowd, not knowing where she would go. She kept walking and walking, across overpasses, through streets, and finally onto a bus which took her to the local cemetery. It was here that she knelt before her father for the first time in many years. She willed herself not to cry for it would bring tears to his eyes if she did, knowing the pain. ?Hello, baba. It?s nice to see you again. I?m turning eighteen this month, the same day you were killed and mama and the little ones were out getting my birthday food. I know I shouldn?t be talking about it but I thought it might help for some closure, just to help me sleep better at night.? A sharp sigh exited her throat, bringing on the falling tears but not the sobs. ?I miss you, baba. I wish you were here with me, telling me that it?ll be ok but... you?re not here and you won?t be.? Zhen stopped the tears and looked up, only to see a shadow and faint reflection against her father?s grave mark. ?Who the hell??? were the last words that she spoke before she was drugged and taken away from her father and the grief she wanted to leave. + + + + + + With an unfocused vision, Zhen realized that she wasn?t kneeling in front of her father?s grave any longer. She awoke cold and with nothing more than the clothes on her back and a cell phone in her hand. A groan barely escapes her breath beneath the harsh winds. Her eyes began to focus and the rush of blood returned to her with the companion of anger rushing along with it. There was not much she could do except find a way back home or at least figure out where she was. After a sharp sigh and push, Zhen was now up again, regaining consciousness and balance, as well as warming herself even though the temperature was nearly twice as cold as it would have been in her hometown in China. It was something she was never fully able to neither understand nor explain, it was just something that happened without her knowledge. Yet, that wasn?t the case at the moment, what was more concerning was to figure out where she would go for shelter. Her cell phone was in full service but she didn?t bother to call anyone if she didn?t know where she was. With another groan, Zhen finally decided to venture forth to wherever her feet took her and would settle for just about somewhere but not anywhere. The cold winds began to die down and the whipping winds were starting to gently wrap their wisps around Zhen instead of pushing and pulling her. It didn?t matter though because dehydration and fatigue was beginning to take over and her vision was once again unfocused and waving in and out. She willed herself not to stop though for stopping would result in hypothermia or even bring her body to a neural paralysis, which happened once in her lifetime. Albeit, her will was strong, her body was weak and because it was weak, it began to fail her. She slowly fell to the ground again and she was beginning to lose consciousness but before she fell unconscious, a pair of feet appeared before her and she soon felt herself being carried away. + + + + + + A voice started to ring in her ears and she thought she was hearing the voice from the cell phone but this was different it was kinder and as if answering someone?s call. When she groaned, she could hear a slight shift in his movement and when she pushed herself off of leather, she held her head and began to open her eyes. He was speaking in Russian, a language that she learned when she had traveled. She couldn?t understand everything that the man had said but she understood enough to know that he was speaking of her. His accent was strong except he appeared Asian, what nationality was difficult to say. He hung up the phone and looked to Zhen, seeing that she was still a bit groggy from her fall. She wasn?t the least bit scared; it wasn?t the least of her worries. Her worry was how dry her throat had become and getting something to drink without being skeptical as to what she was drinking. ?Here, drink some water.? The man handed her a glass of water and she drank it. His eyes were kept on her, as if he was studying her. This made Zhen feel a bit uncomfortable for the reason that she wasn?t a big fan of people watching her when she was the only one doing something unless it was absolutely needed. But luckily, he spoke to her. ?I know that it?s none of my business but is it ok if I ask why you were on the outskirts of Khabarovsk?? Still a bit confused, Zhen tried to remember where Khabarovsk was and realized where she was. Her reply to the man was quiet and a bit scratchy due to the sudden rush of liquid against her dry throat. ?Are we in Russia?? He nodded and her face became pale white but the quick temper that she grew up with soon took over and her face became flushed in red. ?Where are we exactly? Why am I here? Who are you? What do you want? Do you know anything about my being here? I want to know!? The man chuckled and spoke in a kind voice that was warm, similar to her father?s, ?My name is Anthony Schweiss and we?re staying at an Inn in Irkutsk before we head to Moscow, the Capital of Russia.? Turning around, the man began to pour himself something into a cup. When he turned, Zhen was already up with a knife in hand that she picked up off of the table before her. The man before her wasn?t the least bit frightened, only calm. ?You will tell me everything.? ?I can only give you what you wish to know because I?m not even sure myself. Now please, calm yourself and sit, please.? His words were almost entrancing, as if he meant for this to happen. ?I?m not sure why you were left on the outskirts of Russia nor do I know anything about you being here. All I know is that you were drugged and left here to die. If I had not come along, you might have.? At the same time, Zhen was ungrateful and ashamed of what she had done yet at the same time, she felt like Anthony was hiding something. She didn?t want to pry, fear of having him leaving her somewhere to fend for herself. Looking down, Zhen merely played with the knife she had in her hand and then realized how far she had fallen after her leave from her family and soon started to think if it was her fault all the things that had happened. Anthony stood and took the knife from her as well as the cup and placed his own in the sink. He set up a bed for her in the bedroom and escorted her into it, telling her that they were to leave in the morning to Moscow but he never said how. She just merely smiled slightly and laid herself into the bed but didn?t fall asleep until she began to reminisce again and silent tears filled in her eyes and they began to fall like the rain drops fell from the sky. ?What have I done?? were the only words that whispered into the air before her dull sleep. ---------------- OOC- I'm not sure if this is what you want but I tried. It's long, I know ^_^;;.
5. Oh my. All this time, I must have been pronouncing people's usernames incorrectly then or by my own mistake. Gomen ^_^;;;. I suppose that's just my FOBish accent that butchers the pronunciations, though I do speak English quite well and have lived in the US since I was born, which is actually the strange part. What a strange realization. Anyways, I'm sure that throughout my series of usernames, people have butchered my usernames as well. For example, Arika was probably the second name I chose. At first I didn't realize that this name that I chose was Akira with the k and r switched until quite some time after. But, to make things easier, the A is, I believe, the long A sound and Rika is quite simple. So place it together and you have "Uh-Ree-kah." I suppose that sounds a bit confusing but whatever you had in mind for that pronunciation does not matter. The next was, I think, Neuvoxetere. This username was probably one of the stranger pronounced usernames and I think several people have told me that they didn't know how to spell it, didn't know how to say it, or both. It was mostly both but today, I shall make your life easier and tell you how I pronounced it and I took Neuvox from Neuvoxraiha or it was more given to me by her. Neuvox is French for Brand-new, in this case just New, and etere is Latin for Eternal, so if you combine the two terms, you result with Neuvoxetere- New Eternity. Yeah, that just took up space but how to pronounce it. If you know French, the X in Neuvox is silent, which means that you're left with Neuvo and the Latin term Etere is a bit iffy for me in pronunciation since I'm not taking any Latin classes. So then, it would look like or sound like "Noo-VO (as in VOcabulary)-eh-te (TE from TEst)-reh". OK, so I just butchered it too and I'm sure I wasn't much help to you anyways. So then, the final username, Revelation is quite the simple one for it comes from the Biblical book, Revelation. Simple, right? Let's hope so.
6. Name- I have long since been known as Shiro Oni, the White Demon. Age- Early twenties to mid twenties. Gender- Male Appearance- Shiro Oni I usually wear an eye patch in the shape of a moth, allowing my perspective to be halved and for me to better rely on my skills than my powers. My body is covered by light gray and white body armor with white clothing underneath, along with gray gloves and shoes. Yet, no matter how many times I battle or kill, the blood does nothing to stain my clothes. Fighting Style- Being a master of the arts, I possess not one but many styles of fighting. Among them, I use Wing Chun, a Chinese martial arts using no weapons, though occasionally weapons may be used for certain ranges, Hwa Rang Do, Tai Chi, and many other forms. I am known to combine different forms of martial arts and cause much confusion for the opponent. I also am able to calculate my opponent?s moves minutes before the execute them, knowing what they might do next but not always am I correct or precise. Weapon- To the arena I shall bring with me a wakizashi that has a serrated tip and the call of the akuma engraved onto each side of the blade but has no tsuba and appears to be similar to a bayonet. I will also bring with me katana that has a chain at the hilt, allowing me to release it at any moment with precision. The chain, though, has small spikes placed around it so that it can cut into whatever it coils itself around. Ace- Though strength and speed are given to me only by training, this ?power? of mine appeared during my preadolescent age. It gives me the ability to teleport myself and also to manipulate time yet for me to be able to teleport myself, I can only do this if I can visualize the area where I would be and whether or not it was within a five mile radius, any more and it takes nearly a day for me retain my energy or I may be stuck within the space and time for eternity. If I was to manipulate time, I would only be able to do manipulate it for, perhaps, a minute to two or three minutes, if any longer, the manipulation drains my energy and I am in strain. Why Are You Here- For quite some time, I?ve had the pleasure of being with my ninja clan, fighting till death and honoring the code of honor yet it seemed that beneath the exterior was something I wished that I had never found for they were defaming everything that our clan stood for and what?s more is that they had the audacity to associate with our rivaling clan, those who do not share the same code or even the same pride. This had infuriated me for days and in the end, I took it upon myself to leave, letting the only person I trust know the reason of my leave. Now, I am a rogue ninja, destined to walk upon this earth without ally, conjuring as many enemies in my grasp without my consent, and finding a dire need to protect the innocent blood that may be shed. I am merely here to show those who are watching that I am one who does not and cannot be forced to lose nor am I one who bends to will of others so easily, for there is only so much wind that a tree can bend to before it snaps. Personality- I become two different people on the battlefield and off of it, allowing myself to almost contradict with one another. Whether I am in combat or not, I am always clear-headed and watchful, waiting for the next movement to arise. I have a tendency to have a barrier around me, allowing myself to only look upon the nature of the world around me and the beauty of people around me but never to allow them passage to me. Albeit, I have deceived others into believing that they have entered the very den of my life yet they only tread in the shallows, never to know the true nature of my persona. Although, when the need rises for me to fight, I am known to hold the ferocity of a lion, the power of a dragon, the swift feet of a fox, and the flight of an eagle, tearing apart my enemy without a single thought. There are times, though, I feel relaxed and laid-back but with enough enigma surrounding my being to confuse all those who dare to confront me. All in all, I am only a man who wishes the well being of people and for the feud that has long since been with the clans to end so that we may return to defeating the evil outside of our homes.
7. My, how time flies when you believe you've just begun. It's amazing as to how I've written on OB. Boy, that brings a bunch of laughs and "Element X" does bring some good memories. I've made a few friends from there, talking to them, and even having the grandest of pleasures to RP with them. But I must say that, looking back at the RPS' that I've done, it's not so much as embarrassing as you would think, Kanata. It lets me reminisce about the past RPS' that I've done and having the chance to meet people who have become my friends and family. You see, it wasn't really considered to be "newbish" back in the days. It was pretty much how most people wrote on OB anyways, until we began to form our own style and format, along with grammar, punctuation, and whatnot. People shouldn't feel ashamed or embarrassed because, my dear, everyone starts out as a newbie one way or another. And also, asking others if they have any old threads that might be funny for others to look at is somewhat of an insult to those who have created that thread. It?s like stepping on someone?s back so that you can use them as a stool in the sense of what you?re asking from others about old threads. I?m not trying to create an argument or whatever; I?m just stating my opinion about this thread and letting you know what I think. By the way, it?s nice to see you again, Geist. It is also good to see Outlaw and Corey, since I haven?t seen them around lately.
8. Once the doors opened, Fear began to wrap herself around Calon, watching his every movement, studying the very core of his being, but soon tired when Anger turned to her, wanting to speak with Calon but she didn?t move an inch, knowing that this irritated him. She loved to see Anger steam away, exploding left and right, but more so, she loved the way Calon squirmed away when Anger did this for whatever reason Anger was, well, angry about, he took it out on Calon and a distinct fear exuded from him and she enjoyed its taste ever so much. ?Calm down, Anger. You?re just a tad bit... uptight.? The words began to form from Anger?s unseen lips but stopped, seeing that Fear was playing with him, once again. She began to form a head, which was quickly followed by a neck, the shoulders, and slowly the entire upper body with visible arms and hands were soon formed. ?You should lighten up. I mean, we did stand in the corner, listening to that duck of a man flap his mouth away as if he knew our boy, as if he knew the things he was going through.? As she said this, the back of her right hand began to stroke Calon?s cheeks, feeling the heat that rose from them. She then took it off slightly and looked to Anger, who walked beside Calon and Fear, who was apparently still wrapped around Calon. All I need to do is go home and lie down, then I can have some peace and quiet. Knowing that the Emotions could hear his thoughts, especially Anger and Fear for they were right beside him, he took a quick mental note and nothing more. He looked to the two and saw that they didn?t notice anything. He smiled slightly but returned his face to its normal structure after listening to Fear. ?What should we do today, my dear boy?? At that moment, Fear was walking in what appeared to be a human form. ?Well, speak up boy. You know that I don?t just like to read your mind. Hearing your voice shudder and quake is enough for the bells to ring.? ?He?s not doing anything.? Calon looked to Anger who looked straight ahead or what appeared to be looking straight. His eyes averted to Fear who took her shadow form again and stood in front of Anger. ?Get out of my way, Fear. I told you that he wasn?t doing anything. He knows what I?ll do to him if he doesn?t do what I say anyways.? With great stubborn and a high opinion, Fear still stood in Anger?s way, knowing that she wanted to have fun and that she was going to get it whether Anger liked it or not. ?Tell me to get of your way as much as you like, Anger, but it won?t change the fact that I?ll have my way with the boy.? All the Emotions knew who Fear spoke of when she said, ?The Boy? or anything like it. It was nickname she chose for Calon because of his inferiority to the negative Emotions that controlled him. She also called him this because of the way it sounded, so playful and quirky. The other Emotions, most of them actually, dared not to ask Fear to choose a different nickname, knowing that she would switch personalities within a second should anyone defy her, like Anger?s doing at the moment but with Anger, it was different. ?Calon?s going home, Fear! Get out of my way or I?ll make you.? ?Menacing, explosive, and down-right beautiful, yet at the same time so predictable, aren?t you, my dear?? Turning around and having her back to Anger, Fear resumed human form and listened to the heels of her human shoes click against the ground, breathing in the staring eyes that wondered the odd sounds that they heard. ?Fine, have your way with the boy. I?ll just have to deal with these fools for now.?
9. Once arriving in Nibelheim, there was much talk of travelers who came and entered the long ago abandoned mansion. People began to look strangely and cautiously at Demetrius, as if he were going to destroy Nibelheim. He, too, would be wary and quick to judge lest he knew why these strange people had entered his homeland. He could feel the watching eyes that followed him as he walked up to the mansion. He had no need to turn around and look back for his only gaze was towards the mansion, to the people who called for him. It took him quite a while to arrive in Nibelheim but still, he came for he could not ignore the callings of a request, it was in his blood to answer. Without hesitation, Demetrius walked through the open gate and up to the house, not knowing what he may find but as soon as he walked in, a green trail beckoned him to follow, almost as if the specs knew who he was. He followed and followed, walking down long stairwells, down a hallway and into a hidden room. Voices were heard but he dared not to remove his weapon, not until he knew who he was dealing with and with wonderment in his mind, he quickened is pace, only to find himself looking at a group of people whom he?s never met and the two brothers of Kadaj before them. The first to look his way was Yazoo, the younger of the two, who still held onto his gunblade, Velvet Nightmare. He could also see that Loz, the eldest of the three of the silver haired men, carried his weapon, Dual Hound. A green glow surrounded the two brothers, making them almost ethereal in sight yet sorrowful in the heart. Demetrius walked a bit closer to the group but kept his distance, for the fact that he disliked large groups and would?ve rather been alone. ?You?ve requested me. What is it that you want, Ginpatsu?? With an odd smile, Yazoo began to explain. ?I was just about to tell Narote that we want you all to kill Kadaj.? Everyone was attentive and listening from that moment on. ?Our brother?s become a monster. He has to be stopped before he finished what he intended to do.? Loz began to sob at this point; Yazoo glared slightly but returned to the explanation. ?Kadaj still thinks that Kaasan can bring us to the ?Promised Land? or what?s close to it. He still wants to take all of Lifestream from Terra, causing great destruction.?

11. ?Demetrius-san! Demetrius-san!? The sound of a young girl?s shout alerted him from his quiet trance. He still sat with his eyes closed, listening to the flutter of running feet that came his way, knowing that the young girl had urgent news. It was strange how he became acquainted with the different tones of voice and the people that they belonged to, he also became familiar with the sounds all around him, the running of feet, the gentle glides of the hand, just about everything became familiar with him, allowing him to become heightened in his sense of hearing wherever he may be. ?Demetrius-san!? The voice of the girl sounded closer until the sound of a door being opened abruptly was heard. ?Demetrius-san! Didn?t you hear me calling your name?? ?Nan desu ka?? With eyes still closed, Demetrius did not move a muscle nor did he make any acknowledgement that he was going to get up. He could hear the girl?s heavy breathing from her running and sighed. ?Is something the matter?? ?Yuffie-chan needs you. She said it?s urgent and to get you as soon as possible, Demetrius-san. She didn?t tell me why or what was wrong but she said it was really important!? With a smile, Demetrius stood and reached for his jacket and sword, placing both on his back. He began to walk outside with the little girl following behind. He could hear the girl?s humming, trying hard to remember what else it was that Yuffie said to her. She looked around and when she saw a glimpse of a green light, she remembered. ?Demetrius-san, wait!? When Demetrius stopped, the little girl ran up to him with sudden remembrance of what Yuffie also had said. ?Yuffie-chan said something about a silver-haired man!? ?Silver... haired man?? His eyes averted to the floor and with sudden quickness, his eyes widened and he ran while the little girl called after him. His thoughts ran wild with the memories of the slaughter that he had seen before his eyes, the terror that happened while visiting Midgar but the one thing that stood out was the name ?Kaasan,? a word meaning Mother. Sharp pains ran through chest as he tried hard not to remember the pain that ?Kaasan? had brought upon Terra. Shaking his head, Demetrius ran to where he knew Yuffie would be and eventually found her but saw that she stood in the place where she had once met the friends she would never forget. Something about her pose and expression was not her; it felt as if she wasn?t there anymore. She stood in front of what looked like Yazoo and Loz, the brothers of Kadaj, a man who once tried to finish what Sephiroth could not. He analyzed the situation quickly, relaxing after a few moments, yet had a cautious approach. ?Why are they here, Yuffie?? She didn?t speak but had clenched hands and a distinct emotion slapped across her face. All he could say was, ?What needs to be done?? The silver haired men explained to Demetrius that he needed to get to Nibelheim and enter the abandoned mansion, there everything would be explained and what needs to be done as well. He nodded and the figures disappeared with the wind, returning to their rightful place. ?Demetrius, you must help save the planet. I can?t ask much more than that because I can?t do this again. I have to look after the children who have been infected with the Geostigma.? She turned to Demetrius with pleading eyes yet with a courageous heart but said nothing. She walked past Demetrius, who stood watching where the silver haired men stood. Before she left, her final words to Demetrius was, ?Finish what Cloud started. Send him back to where he came from and end his evil doings.? Understanding the situation, Demetrius closed his eyes and asked guidance from the planet, asking Terra to lend him some power so that he may help save the planet. With a sigh, he left to gather a few things, to gather what he could carry and nothing more. There wasn?t much he could do in Wutai but if Loz and Yazoo came to ask him for help, then he must answer for the enemy of his enemy is now his friend.
12. Name- Marcus William Creed Codename- Sabretooth Age- 24 Appearance- Sabretooth The shaggy dirty white hair brings out the bestial creature within Sabretooth, giving him an edge in style and appearance. His broad shoulders and large build are more than enough to intimidate the people around him; although that?s not the only reason they fear him. The sharp teeth that have become defined and almost filed, seems to give him the ferocity that a wild cat would have in its territory. For style, Sabretooth likes to wear jeans, a simple shirt, and if possible, a leather jacket or trench coat. He has a simple sense about him but with so much complexity, but he doesn?t care. Power- Marcus, also known as Sabretooth, has, what most would call, a ?healing factor.? It allows him to heal injuries hundreds of times faster than normal humans and even recover from near death injuries. It is also known that he is able to regenerate organs such as eyes and large portions of flesh; although it is unclear as to if he is able to regenerate missing limbs and vital organs. This ?healing factor? also grants Marcus with immunity to most toxins, depending on the doses given, and diseases. There are times when Marcus? ?healing factor? gives him enough stamina to push himself at peak levels for days, maybe even a couple of weeks, as well as retard aging to an unknown degree. Through his mutant powers, Marcus received enhanced senses that enabled him to see and hear distant objects clearer than normal humans, as well as to identify and track someone purely by scent. The enhanced senses also makes Marcus? eyesight is so keen that he can see in almost complete darkness, just as a nocturnal animal could which may be the result of being able to see into infrared and ultraviolet spectrum. Furthermore, his senses are so advanced that he can even take small material and break it down to the most basic ingredient, without even knowing what the food he tasted was. At first, it was unsure as to how Marcus was able to be given these enhancements without experimental drugs or surgery and it then came to mind that it was due to the constant cellular regeneration, similar to Howlett, also known as Wolverine, which can also be connected to his increased agility and reflexes, which could also explain his superhumanly strength to an extent that was further enhanced by several peoples. Yet, even without the use of his senses, Marcus is still an excellent tracker and hunter. On another note, Marcus? mutation began to change his physical appearance, giving him animalistic features which included two sharp, feline-like canines, retractable claws where ordinary fingernails would be, and, what appears to be, eyes that have no visible pupils. There was once a rumor that, because of his ?healing factor,? a group of people had laced his skeletal structure with adamantium, which could then produce four claws, similar to that of Wolverine?s. Though rumored, it has been said that even without the adamantium, Marcus? claws and teeth are competently strong enough to tear substances as strong as the human bone or even a metal pole. Even without his mutant powers, Marcus is quite the fighter. He was trained in hand to hand combat, which makes him a worthy adversary, and even more, he tends to escape from the most secured and even highest leveled confinements. He also has a high resistance to telepathic probing and manipulation, which is oddly enough not explained as to how that is. An unconfirmed data is questioning whether or not his nullified neurological reaction to physical injuries is connected to his mutant power or if it was merely something that the several people who ?toyed? with him, gave him. Nonetheless, this makes him a vicious and maniacal opponent to fight, considering the changes that has happened to him through surgeries and experiments. Personality- Marcus has a cruel and psychopathic nature about him, which be believes is a natural part of being a mutant like himself. This sadomasochistic mentality has brought upon him a bloodlust unlike anything else that surges through his body, making him extremely dangerous. Tired of trying to control the blood thirsting animal within him, Marcus has allowed himself to become the ticking time-bomb that he is, letting that energy course through his blood, giving him the animalistic hunger that has been forever dormant. There was a point when Marcus had control of his vicious nature but was soon torn down by people whom he cannot remember. Despite what has happened, Marcus still has a higher level of self-discipline and greater competence than he did before he realized what he truly was. Albeit, he still enjoys the egoistic blood thirst of a good hunt, never hesitating to hurt innocent bystanders, though this is all due to the psychopathic nature within him, giving him no sense of morality or remorse. To add to the feral within him, Marcus has a tendency to have an excessive amount of arrogance and narcissism that gives him the appearance of stupidity when in reality, he is quite the intelligent person who likes to hack into government data bases and steal information or play with the systems that they set up. True enough, his bigheaded ego gives him the idea that he is an ultimate warrior, knowing that he is skilled and powerful; he tends to underestimate his opponents who in turn, underestimate him after a few strikes. In short, Marcus can be a powerful ally with underlying motives or an adversary, worthy of tearing your throat apart. Either way, he has the enjoyment and fun of knocking a few ?rag dolls? around. History- For eleven years the pain and suffering flashed within his mind, haunting his every memory, grasping his inner human and tearing it apart, and literally breaking him down till he was no more. For so long has he tried to null the pain by facing who he is and what he is, despising those who weren?t ?infected? by the mutant gene. Yet, it never ended and it never will, not until he dies, not until he is dead by the hands of his rival. It was a cold and dark winter the moment Marcus William Creed was born; it was also a day of gloom for those who had witnessed difficulties and terrible outcomes. Among those results, Marcus was born four pounds larger than he was averaged, most of the blood in his body pooled around his heart and wasn?t circulating well enough, and on top of that, his mother had died while trying to give birth to his twin brother, who had died the moment he exited his mother?s womb. Because of the results that came to be, Marcus was kept in the hospital in case of anything that might happen to him, in case the heart would circulate too much blood into it and overflow. For up to nearly a week, the blood flow began to circulate his entire body, yet he did not gain any weight for quite some time. This had baffled the doctors but they found it nearly a miracle for his quick recovery. But even after his recovery, his father or mother were not there to take him home, only his aunt and uncle. As Marcus grew up with his cousins, his family experienced that he was prone to wounds or illness, it was almost as if God had blessed him with an even greater miracle. They also saw that he grew to be more muscular and a bit taller than the boys, even a bit more aggressive than they were at their age. His aunt and uncle were not concerned with this, thinking it was something that happened at this age. Even at school, he was constantly sent to the principal?s office for rough housing and even disobeying the teachers and constantly fighting. Yet, they all assumed this was some sort of post-trauma after learning about his mother?s death. Throughout the years, Marcus had developed a fairly built body along with sharper canines, amazing physical strength, tremendous agility, and animalistic characteristics that he had never experienced before. He overpowered his cousins, his uncle, almost everyone in the neighborhood he lived in. His aunt and uncle thought this to be another of something that boy?s would go through but didn?t realize the power that Marcus possessed until he nearly killed his eldest cousin while wrestling. No one understood the changes that Marcus was taking upon himself, he didn?t understand it either, but the only thing that his family could do was send him to an alternative school that might help him nurture his aggression and perhaps change his ways. While in the alternative school, he was notified that a visitor had come to see him. The visitor explained about a program that could help him with his studies, train his strength, agility, his prowess, and even allow him to enroll for the academy. Marcus found this his escape from the hellish world he came to live in and accepted at once, not even thinking about his family or what he might be putting himself in. At the program and academy, Marcus applied himself to learning to tame his feral-like self, learning different fighting styles and methods, as well as honing his reflexes and perception. He felt extremely powerful at the program and academy, almost as if they all feared him yet was in wonderment of how he could be this way. Unbeknown to him, there were others who were also in wonder, not only that, they were studying him, watching his every move and recording the very essence of him. He was literally the talk of the town for his accomplishments and time records in obstacle courses, winning streaks in spars, and much more. It was as if he was the ultimate warrior among the few that were to come out alive. Soon enough, Marcus ranked the highest in the academy and was given a free ride into the army of his choice. Without a doubt, he had chosen the toughest of all military, U.S. Marine Corps, something he had admired and wanted to accomplish for quite some time while attending the academy. Yet, even the Marines were nothing to him, just simple child?s play. He needed something that could contain his hunger for combat and when he had learned of a Special Op?s unit, he was more than ecstatic to proceed into the unit. It was as if his call had been answered and the animal in him would be satisfied. It was in this unit that he had met his rival, Craig David Howlett. He had never met anyone who was as equal to him in strength, speed, intelligence, and much more. It was uncanny and almost too surreal to even fathom what else this person could do, let alone what he was capable of because to him, Craig wasn?t just a rival but also a challenge unlike anything he had ever experienced. But what he didn?t realize was that their rivalry wasn?t just rivalry but would turn into something for intense that not even fire could burn them. This was shown in field missions and theory tests by their competitiveness. At this point in Marcus? life, he had become the envy of all men, wanting the physical features that he had attained, the great strength he contained, and even the light-footed agility but what they didn?t know was that he had cat-like claws that was strong enough to tear through bone, and sharper canines, similar to that of a cat?s. The challenge he liked with Craig was that Craig was smaller in build and height, lighter in weight, quicker than he was but still had that feral instinct that Marcus retained. After some time, Marcus and Craig had become great adversaries, challenged to come above the other, which in the end, was decided by Marcus? promotion as leader of the unit. It was after some time that Craig became absent due to one of the scientists? request for him. Marcus had nobody to rival against, no one was a challenge, and it all seemed too easy. But he was still eager to wait until Craig?s return, which then would allow him to continue the heated competition between the two.
[b']A) Which aspect of OtakuBoards do you find to be the most negative/confusing?
Frankly, there isn't anything negative to say about the OB other than the fact that there are some very few people here that tend to more ignorant than others, but that's just the way people are.
[B']B) What is your favorite aspect of OtakuBoards?
One of the greatest things, that I?ve noticed, about being here at the OB is the connections people make with others. I?ve had the pleasure and honor of doing so and in that, I?ve created a few strong connections as well as a few strong friendships with people whom I would?ve never guessed of creating that bond. It?s amazing how people can start off with new people and come to realize that they?ve created a friendship, which is almost impossible to have considering the many factors that don?t allow that to happen but being at the OB makes it all worthwhile and it?s possible to do that. The OB is filled with different perspectives, ideas, and styles that most would not know about in other places or in their daily lives but OB gives them that and it?s a place that gives you much more than just a place to type away, but a high quality ?service? that meets the necessary internet needs, and possibly wants, of those who are members at the ?Boards. In essence, the OB is just a big melting pot of differences and similarities, something that cannot be changes and I believe that it?s the people that make it all worthwhile. Another thing about the OB is the staff, some of whom I?ve had the pleasure of talking to. It?s amazing how they?re able to take the time to come onto OB and run their part of the ?Boards and try to make everything organized and work for everyone that is at the ?Boards. I must say that for the few years I?ve been at the OB, I haven?t seen such a wonderful community like ours at OB. It?s also a great thing about OB that makes it all worthwhile to come to, the community, the people, and everything in it.
14. Name- Demetrius Tridain Age- 37 Gender- Male Appearance- Demetrius Standing at the medium height of six feet and weighing at 158 pounds, he doesn?t appear to be muscular but with a small build, albeit he tends to hide under his blue jacket. Without his jacket, he has a medium build which is defined with slight muscles on his body giving him strength, as well as agility. He moves with fluid movements, as if he were a petal dancing on water but at the same time hits with the strength of an ox. Weapons- Demetrius carries around what is shown as a regular rapier but upon looking closer, the blade?s scabbard turns out to be a metal sheathing that wraps around the blade, almost as if two blade exist. The metal sheathing can act as a shield or something to be thrown, at times it can just be used as a sword, but most of the time Demetrius keeps the sheath on, allowing it to have a blunt yet powerful sting when hitting his opponent. Materia- Unfortunately, Demetrius has no need for the three materia he possesses unless, he is in trouble or if it is dire need that a specific materia be used. Contain- This material can grant the user with powerful elemental spells such as Freeze, Break, Tornado, and Flare. Master Summon- A material that gives the wielder access to all summon monsters. With this material, the user can use any summon without any limits. Though this Materia is said to be strong, the user can only call one summon at a time but rarely do they have the chance to use all before it begins to wear them down. On a side note, Demetrius may have the ability to call any summon but he prefers to use Bahamut Zero, who is one of the strongest summon materia in Terra. It is the last of the three Bahamut incarnations and is known as Bahamut in space, though it has been rumored that a fourth Bahamut incarnation lies somewhere in Terra. White Materia- Holy A powerful material with unknown magic. It is said that the White Materia can save the planet but the effect is unknown and if used, it may wipe out the entire planet. Personality- Quiet and still, Demetrius is known for his solitary ways, disappearing without a word and reappearing once again in the most unusual yet needed of times. He has a wild tongue that spits wily comments, causing him trouble but also keeping him out of it as well, persuading anyone just with the words that flow from his mouth. Demetrius also has a sarcastic way of speaking with others, yet has the mild tendency to speak with knowledge. Though many have not met him, they?ve glanced his way for a few but would quickly return to their daily works, never to strike an eye at him once more unless he should speak to them first. It?s as if a mysterious aura surrounds him, making people afraid of him but at the same time, become curious of who he is. Other than the curiosity that Demetrius strikes up, it is still unsure as to who he truly is. He shows himself as someone who?s traveled the world with the wisdom of a thousand elders and seen many tragedies but at the same time, someone who merely ?goes with the flow? and does what he wishes when he wishes. The only thing about Demetrius that is known, at the moment, is to destroy Kadaj before he destroys the world and nothing will stop him from his mission, even if it means sacrificing himself to keep the planet safe. Biography- Wanting to hide the past that haunted him, Demetrius decided to live in the town of Wutai, there he learned the grace of nature and the ways of the shadow, but he still yearned to return to the mountains in the Icicle Area. Throughout the years, he?s learned much from the small and isolated town, even began to dabble in the martial arts they practiced and yet for many years, he?s tried to escape the past that he left behind, only to find that not even living in a world of peace and tranquility could help him. Even so, his heart was not fully mended by the disaster he had seen nor had the nightmares begin to die down, instead the nightmares increased in all of the five senses, as if he was standing there at that point. There was so much missing from his life for the only memories in his mind were the ones of the slaughter that Sephiroth had caused and the ones up until now, but coming to realization, Demetrius has found that it is not Sephiroth?s doing of destroying the planet but a being who has come from Sephiroth, a being with two brothers, a being who wishes for Geostigma, a being named... Kadaj.
15. Name- Fear Gender- Female Age- Older than time itself. Appearance- Taking on many forms, Fear has no definite appearance or at least that?s what they presume considering she?s never shown her true form. She can become the most deranged and gruesome of all monsters or even become the most timid and kind but still, she is Fear and Fear always has a twinkle in her eye underneath the depths of darkness and destruction. Of the many forms she has, Fear has three forms she takes on, the dominant, which is indubitably the most ferocious, the secondary, and then the last resort, as most would call it. Depending on how she feels, Fear will choose the state she wishes to be in. Beginning with the dominant state of Fear, she is shown as a solid yet opaque and shadowy figure, almost as if she were part of the shadows. This is the form that is seen by Calon most often, if not all the time. When Fear chooses to take a solid form, she can choose to have a head, a head and torso, or show all of her body, but mostly, she likes to tease Calon by appearing with only her upper half and wrap herself around Calon. At over forty feet in length, the secondary state of Fear?s forms is enormous. The head of the creature is similar to that of a wolf?s that becomes elongated into a dragon?s neck and gives way to the body. The creatures may appear wolf-like at the head but it bears draconic features. It has three horns- one that rises above the nostrils and the other two protruding at the top of his head between his ears and curving upward, the scales of a dragon covering the wolf?s head, and it also has nine eyes- two before the snout and a few inches before the ears, a large eye on its chest, one on each leg, and two very large eyes on each wing. As the form grows into its secondary state, its ?body? becomes long and agile, similar to that of a snake-like dragon but with the exception that fur and scales cover its thick skin and the other exception that . The legs of the creature are almost like that of a dragon?s leg but quickly turning into a wolf?s paw with dragon claws. Without wings, what would a draconic wolf be? The skeletal wings are thirty feet in length with a thin layer of skin that has a prismatic effect in any light and makes it as though the wings were glowing. To top it all off, Fear?s secondary state has sharp teeth and a growling tone that says she should not be messed with for its fearsome with a temperamental mind that could switch instantly, along with a raging appetite that is never satisfied. Finally, Fear has something worthy of calling herself, well, Fear. In an effort, she gathers a bit of each emotion, taking in a piece of them with her and creates the image that cannot be called away. Except, she has yet to try this for Calon?s fear is, at the most, strong but not enough for her to even allow a tinge of effort to create the last resort. So, in vain effort, Fear?s last resort has yet to become what it is. Though in her mind, the last resort is but a puppeteer, waiting to throw around everyone like rag dolls. Personality- Fear is a creature filled with torment and torture, enwrapping those around her into the darkness she?s created, allowing them no passage anywhere but to the depths of a place where she alone rules. She knows your every thought and knows of the place in the back of your mind where the one thing that you fear the most lives. She can be the darkness in the corner that could, at any moment, devour your very soul, leaving you to be a living corpse or be the monster in the closet that could make you disappear from the world and entrap you to be her slave for eternity yet she despises being defined and labeled as that though she doesn?t mind what people say about her except should any pestilent beings choose to mock her and allow her name to be ridiculed, she will show those who defy her what can hurt them the most and how she can do it for Fear is all about punishment or play, it ultimately is determined by how she feels to choose how they should be tortured. It?s nothing but a game to her and in that sense, no one ever win?s Fear?s game. Other than the way she ?plays? with everything, Fear has another side to her that makes her complex and unorthodox. Some see her as a monster but the other emotions see her only as a child at heart, if she had a heart. She runs about causing chaos and destruction in people?s lives, laughing at their demise and always finding someway to annoy and even pull pranks on the other Emotions, wondering what their reaction would be, just waiting for that sudden moment they gasp. It?s what she feeds on, that little gasp of surprise or shock, and slowly it?ll turn to even greater gasps of screams and silence. She doesn?t know exactly how to contain the fear that she consumes but she manages even without her knowing it. Other than Fear?s way of interacting and being the person that she is, she has a tendency to gather parts of people?s aura and keep them as specimens, pets, whatever you wish to call it, teaching them little tricks as you would do to a dog. She cares nothing for anyone else yet she will do anything to help her ?family? of Emotions. Strange, isn?t it? The stranger thing about Fear is her laugh which can sound like that of an angel?s whispers or suddenly break into a maniacal laughter that a psychotic and delusional person would laugh but all at the same time, she can still be who she is. Albeit, the only times she acts in a matter that is not deranged, is when she is having fun or with the other Emotions. Writing Sample- The mumblings of Calon soon began to grow as he sat in the corner, holding his hands to his ears and rocking away in an endless and worthless effort to rid himself of Fear. ?You?re not real, fear is not real, you?re not real, fear is not real.? A gentle hand came to touch Calon but he closed his eyes and kept them shut. The hand lifted his chin and as his hands came down from his ears, his eyes came to open and they met Fear?s empty, white eyes and chills ran down his spine as if it were a race. His eyes then began to trace her face, discovering her smile was that of black lips and her teeth were as white as pure snow, and he then came to realize the hand that touched his face. It was warm yet when Fear moved it away; the fingertips had a chilling effect. Everything about Fear made Calon shiver and wish he was anywhere but there, away from her but at the same time, he was drawn to her, as if he wanted to know more about her and that was what made him afraid. As Fear began to hover away from Calon, her formless body began to take an appearance; legs that wore black boots began to appear, then the torso, and then the upper body, which was covered by a simple black top that allowed her stomach to be revealed, which then brought her arms to form, covered by black elbow gloves, and then at last, the head formed. Fear turned to Calon, who slowly stood up, and she still wore the deviant smile. In such amazement, Calon still managed to say, ?You?re not real. You?re not real. You?re inside my head.? The smile quickly dropped and the room began to shake, making Calon grab for the nearest handle he could find. Fear?s appearance became distorted and almost as if Calon was watching a television set with bad reception and the picture was going in and out. Her hands became claw-like, her body began to grow spikes, and her legs turned into raptor-like legs, whereas her head grew horns and a reptilian bird-like face with ferocious teeth. That wasn?t final though; her voice soon took a turn and became demonic and dark ?I?m not real, am I? Then maybe you want to see something that is real!? Calon?s eyes widened as Fear brought him closer and closer to her. Once close enough, Fear took Calon and gripped her claws around his waist, nearly crushing him till he couldn?t breathe. ?Do not, by any means, underestimate me, Calon! I will crush you in less than a second if you ever should!? Everything slowly reverted back to normal as Fear calmed down and Calon was once again standing and breathing, or at the moment collapsed on the ground and finding air. ?But since I can?t crush, demolish, destroy, and whatnot, devouring your fear is the best and even more, making you squeamish and hearing you scream is just a joy! Now then, what should we do??
16. Walking down the various streets, Gabriel had found Arc leaving a small shop where a large man and a woman were at. He shook his head, knowing that Arc had fought the large man for his weapon, which happened to be his gauntlets. Gabriel smiled but kept his face hidden behind his cloak?s hood, yet Arc knew that Gabriel was walking his way but made no attempt to notice for Arc knew that Gabriel was not to be bothered if his hood was up and covering his face. When Arc passed by, Gabriel felt the strong impulse to enter a frightening shop down the road that was hidden in the alleyway and it appeared that the shop had dozens upon dozens of weapons from all around and it also held a shouting goblin-like man who was trying to carry what looked like a sword. With wonderment and the strong connection he had with his sword, Gabriel walked up to the short man and saw that he was trying to carry his sword. It then occurred to him that the sword had its own changes and found that the hilt was a dragon?s head with wings emerging from the sides and the blade protruding from its mouth and it appeared to be asleep. It also seemed that it still had the same elements that it had before the extravagant changes. Gabriel watched as the shopkeeper tried to carry the sword and without a word, Gabriel lifted it with ease and amazed the shopkeeper. ?I thank thee for finding my lost sword, but you must forgive me for I am taking this.? Flabbergasted and confused, the shopkeeper stood there watching Gabriel take the sword. He shook his head and whistled with his fingers, making Gabriel stop in his tracks just as he was about to walk down the streets. Behind him was the shopkeeper who was on the shoulders of a large man and with him were two large men who were carrying a mace and an axe. The shopkeeper sat on the shoulders and screeched something awful, but the only thing that Gabriel could hear were the words, ?Mine! Mine! Give it to Zudo! It?s Zudo?s! Zudo found it and he?ll keep it! ?If this sword is yours, my good man, then why could you not carry it?? A bit of a smug tone came from Gabriel as he turned to the shopkeeper. ?Once again, I thank thee but I must be on my way. My comrades and I must meet and this little ordeal may prevent me from joining them. But perhaps, you and I could arrange something?? ?Instead, why don?t I rearrange your body and then we can talk?? One of the three burly men spoke in a gruff voice. ?So, give up the sword and you can walk away.? It was then that the other two began to chuckle. ?I?m sorry, are you trying to intimidate me?? As Gabriel spoke, a ball of fire began to form in his hands. ?I apologize to you but I don?t think that tactic will work. You see...? Without a word of caution, Gabriel threw the ball and it spread, burning everything in sight but quickly fading. ?I have the upper hand.? Growling, the three men ran at Gabriel, who anticipated every move. Dodging and diving, ducking and covering, he knew exactly when and how to hit the men or whatever they were. They merely fought with brute strength and no strategy while Gabriel knew their attacks before they even had the chance to put it into action. ?Come now. Is that any way to treat a customer? I would have paid you good money for this sword but at the moment, I have none and beside, this sword does belong to me.? The screeching of the shopkeeper was heard once again and it began to irritate Gabriel, which caused him to use a silencing spell on Zudo. To the three men, he merely had to use his strength, which was powered by a tenfold, and use an ancient fighting technique to defeat them. It wasn?t easy because they were large and grotesque, not that being ?grotesque? had anything to do with fighting them, but they weren?t easy people to knock down in one hit. They sliced, smashed, threw, charged, and did so much more just to damage Gabriel but somehow there was not a scratch on him. This angered the man with the mace and he then pulled the mace from the handle and swung it around, swinging it in Gabriel?s direction and nearly hitting him. At that moment, the sword was awakened and the blade began to glow a dark color. When Gabriel unsheathed it from its scabbard, he realized that the dragon?s eyes were of obsidian and crystal and as it awoke, symbols and runes began to appear on the blade in an ancient language that was yet to be discovered. This new unseen force frightened Zudo and his accomplices and caused them to scurry away, while Gabriel held the sword that was once a standard broadsword. Amazed, he stood with it, twirling it around and mesmerized by its fierce power that surged from it. Without any knowledge as to how it awoke, the sword went back to its dormant state once more, allowing Gabriel to sheath it and let him be on his way to find his Dragon Staff. --------- OOC- I apologize for the long wait for my post, Retri. I had difficulty finishing my sign-up. Anyways, I?ve finished up my sign-up and for the piece de resistance; I have here the picture of what the sword looks like, in a similarity-> SWORD!
17. Name- Sydney Cooper Reed Nickname- Syd or Cooper to her friends but to everyone else, she?s known as Cobra Reed. Gender- Female Age- 18 Appearance- Cobra Reed Sydney may appear feminine and timid, but in reality, she?s a firecracker just waiting to explode. She stands at the height of five feet and four inches with chocolate brown hair that waves in the wind, hazel brown eyes that glints in the sunlight, and a fairly built body with a fair tan. Some people assume that since she?s small and appears timid that she?s harmless but they don?t realize who she is until it?s a bit too late. Yet the people that know Sydney have a love for her like she?s a sister and know that she?s one to watch out for because she?s a force to be reckoned with. Her delicate hands are long and elegant but have such strength in them, just like her feet, and mouth. Now, her full pink lips may appear beautiful but when they part, a rowdy and loud mouth takes over, causing people to have a variety of emotions. On an everyday basis, Sydney wears a black cowboy hat with dark brown pants, black boots, and various colors of shirts. Over her shirts is a black jacket with a cobra on the right chest. She?s not one for wearing dresses, skirts, and womanly clothing because it bothers her a bit much. Even if she never wears womanly clothing, Sydney is always seen with an intricate outfit everyday and never once has she worn anything new. Personality- Sydney is naturally a kindhearted woman with an exuberant smile and radiating joy that literally brightens any room that she steps into. She has a great sense of humor and a beautiful laughter that makes any person cheer up on a cloudy day but most of all, she?s never too busy to help anyone in need, which is why she?s very amiable with everyone in Dustero Town but if anyone annoys her or even angers her, they gets the storm of the century with Sydney. She isn?t one for crude remarks that hurt people or even rude acts that can harm them. If anyone should try this in her present, she becomes quite intimidating and can scare away even the burliest of men. In the saloon, Sydney?s a working woman who keeps the drunken cowboys in check and makes sure that they don?t cause too much trouble with the ladies and other people. She?s a dedicated and hard-working person and quite the entertainer when it comes to drinking. In other words she?s a wild child who knows how to keep them coming but when the time comes to end the party, she?s the first to let them all go, never the last. The strange thing about Sydney is that, her personality varies in all sorts of environments and situations. There is never just one way to explain who she is, you just have to know her to actually know who she is. Occupation- Rarely has Sydney ever stayed in one place, meaning she?s ran around the entire South but planted herself in the West, getting a job as a waitress at a saloon. She also is a freelancer looking for a job doing anything but working as a brothel girl or dancer. Hobbies- Working in the saloon is one of her favorite things to do, as well as showing the men that women can hold their liquor. She also loves to take a ride on Black Diamond, a black mixed breed feral horse with a white diamond on its nose, with Duke, a black and tan coon hound, walking beside the horse, and Taz, her gray ferret, sitting on her shoulders. Sydney seems to be at peace whenever she?s taking time out for her pets, she also seems to be at peace when she?s reading or playing the piano. When times get rough, Sydney?s in the middle of it all, cracking her whip and shooting up a storm. She loves an occasional fight or argument because the adrenaline rushes all around her and she?s able to get it out of her system before she explodes. Weapons/Possessions- Carried around with her are two Peacemaker pistols that was given to her by her grandfather before his dying day. She also keeps with her a whip, a knife with the word ?Cobra? embedded into the blade, and a shot gun for emergencies. Aside from her weapons, Sydney wears a silver heart locket, which was given to her by her mother before Sydney left for Dustero Town. She also has a silver ring to remind her of her days in her old town. Other Information- She works with Jack and Gracie in Jack's saloon and has never seen a dull day. But usually, Sydney's the one who starts the bar fights and has to be calmed down by the two. You could say, she's one wild child with a fiery spirit and rowdy heart. As for her name, Cobra Reed, the only ones who know that she?s female are the ones who come into Jack?s saloon but outside, Cobra Reed?s a mystery.
18. What a meaningless thing to be doing in Tokyo. We?re flying out just to see a parade in honor of our work. That?s basically saying, ?Here you go, a reward for sitting your buttocks all day and coming up with simple ideas.? What a bore. Yet, I do believe being Mistress has its perks and yet, somehow, there?s so much I want to change. All through the plane ride, Deborah sketched away her thoughts, not paying attention to anything outside of her personal area. She was in far too much thought to be distracted but she acknowledged the others on the plane, in doing so, she acknowledged Mistress Lillith?s obnoxious, yet relaxing humming. Deborah looked up and found that Lillith was a bit uncomfortable with the silence, whereas most of the Mistresses were right in their element. Deborah floated around either way, silence or ruckus was a melody to her. With a sigh, she looked out the window towards the clouds and imagined the first plane she ever rode in when she was a child. Her mother was one of the previous Mistresses and she rode in the plane, admiring the world outside, the ?fluffy marshmallows? that angels could sit upon and eat. She also admired the world inside the plane, the one with all the Mistresses and their work. She admired them all, especially her mother, for the parade was somewhat in her name for her good deeds. She wanted to become a Mistress and be like her mother, exactly like her, which is the reason why she always followed her mother around but still kept an innocent outlook on everything, playing with the younger girls and occasionally the younger boys. When Deborah was young, she was considered a tomboy, a girl who acted in a boyish manner. She would always come home with scraped knees, muddy clothes, and occasionally brought home by a guard who held her by the collar. Not only did that happen, but she was always seen with the boys and playing sports and doing the things that boy?s love, something that girls wouldn?t have done. This had began to isolate her from the women?s world and made her seem as if she was lower than they but it wasn?t her fault that she had such energy jolting out of her and such exuberance that shined and touched everyone. She was who she was at that time and no matter what anyone said, she didn?t care. ?Those were the good old days.? ?What were the good old days, Deborah?? Looking to who spoke to her, she saw that Lillith was the one speaking to her. ?You looked like you were thinking about something.? Smiling, Deborah turned back to watch the clouds. ?I am.?
19. Name- Rose JangMi* Kim Age- 17 Gender- Female Nationality- Korean Appearance- Rose is a beautiful girl underneath all the tough exterior and ice-cold eyes. She stands at the height of 5 feet and 6 inches with short olive-brown hair that changes to either a hazel brown or chocolate brown in the summer or winter, but keeps its natural color during spring and autumn. Her eyes also coincide with her olive-brown hair, giving her a magnificent brown with speckles of gray hidden in them. Rarely does Rose wear anything fashionable or trendy. She?d rather wear last year?s clothes and make the new line look just not as great but still add her own touch. Rose dresses in a vest that has a hood with fur lining and shades of green all around over a slate green tank that has intricate stitches that hold it together. On top of that, she wears khaki pants with brown boots and green knee-high socks. She also wears leather elbow gloves that have green fabric similar to her socks embedded in the gloves. All the while more, she still keeps a slender figure while working to help keep her grandparents? Inn up and running, at the same time training with her pokémon to compete in the Pokémon Fighting League. Pokémon (up to 3)- - Flygon - Sableye - Feraligator Biography- Years before Rose was born, her family was filled with different people who used Pokémon in many different ways. There were miners who used ground pokémon to help dig and keep the mine safe, hunters who used fierce pokémon and sent them out to hunt, fighters, healers, and many different types of people who used Pokémon. Now, her family is filled with doctors, teachers, trainers, breeders, Pokémon coordinators, and so much more. Though, none has ever been a Merger, which is the only thing that Rose can call her own for her family has been nagging for her to take on a duty, a job, and a role of some sort ever since she received Totodile, who is now a Feraligator. When the time came for Rose to receive her first pokémon, there was a debate as to what pokémon she would receive. Her mother wanted her to have a feminine pokémon, one that was gentle and adorable in appearance, while her father wanted her to have one that had a lot of machissimo and strength, and then there was the argument over a ghost to protect the spirits from her grandparents, then fire, then grass, and so forth. Yet not a single person talked about water because to them, having a water pokémon was feared and shameful for once a long time ago, her ancestors? village was washed away by a ferocious water pokémon who flooded the village, destroyed the crops, and did much damage, leaving them poor and frightened. But this was Rose?s choice and when she decided, her choice was a Totodile when she went to her uncle-in-law, who was a professor. To Rose, Feraligator was the only friend that she had ever found because she was the only child at the time and Feraligator was the only one who stayed by her side even as her family ridiculed her and put harm to Feraligator when it was a Totodile. It was difficult and there were many times when Totodile and she cried but never showing their sorrow and pain to the others. Her family was a bit understanding but the past shrouded over them and caused them to believe that water pokémon were dangerous and vile, something that should be locked up, just a felon should be. Even as a couple of years passed, Rose?s family still despised Totodile, who turned into a Croconaw from all the stress, hatred, and exile he had felt. Just as Croconaw was pained, so was Rose in this ordeal, which was why she decided to isolate and exclude herself from her family, showing her face only when it was time to eat and when she had to work. She was going to show her family that Croconaw would become one of the greatest pokémon in History. Being the eldest of the children in a Korean family means that one has much responsibility and respect but also trust. It doesn?t mean that Rose is able to make the younger ones, who are her cousins, being that she is an only child, do all the work but make sure that they are working hard, as she is working, too. Being the eldest means many things, it means the first to go to school, and the first to journey across the lands, the first to do all sorts of things, and it also means the first to battle in an official competition as her ancestors have. The most important was that Rose was the eldest and in her mind, she wanted to leave an impact on her younger cousins and show them what she can do, giving them the confidence she finds in herself. And it was her decision as the eldest to register and become one of the world?s greatest pokémon champions in history. Other(*)- JangMi is the Korean translation for Rose.
20. Walking up moments later, Deborah had realized she was late for the meeting with the other Mistresses and being late was not something she was fond of. She was almost always punctual and never late and if she were to be late or not present at a gathering of any sort, she would have a good reason but today was somehow oddly repulsive for her. Without eating anything and merely picking up clothes that the house servant laid out for her, Deborah walked quickly to the meeting and managed to finish her fruit smoothie before she stepped into the room. When she had, she sat down in her chair and allowed Mistress Lilith Sigridotter to begin the meeting. At the moment, others proposed their suggestions and what they think should happen, while they also kept in mind Lilith?s proposal as well. A few hours passed and the women came to a final decision about what they were to do. They merely sat and spoke amongst each other, all the while having a laugh or two. Deborah, on the other hand, isolated herself from the others and sat at her chair, drinking a glass of wine. She was sketching something on a piece of paper, something that represented what appeared to be an automobile. Everyone knew she was fascinated by them and knew that she had quite a bit of knowledge about them as well, so seeing Deborah sketch a car was nothing out of the norm. After a few more hours, the Mistresses exited the room and went about their separate ways. Some went with one another, while others went by themselves, like Deborah. She wasn?t one for socializing in any way, shape, or size but she didn?t isolate herself if the occasion arose. Yet, at this moment, she did not feel like joining any party for tea or whatnot, just that she wanted to return to her accommodations and rest, think, read, do whatever came to mind. OOC- Sorry for the late and short post. I?ll post a better one next time.
21. Looking at the clock that hung across the room, Zhen stood up and ran her fingers through her hair then suddenly stopped in her pace and frantically shook her fingers through them, sighing all the while afterwards. She needed to know why she felt the way she did and why the past was haunting her when all she wanted to do was stay in the present and think nothing more. As Zhen paced around her house more frequently, she paced to her kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water and took a large drink but as she drank she suddenly remembered the vague feeling of someone watching her. Even in her sleep, she had a keen sense of her environment and knew that someone was in her room, but upon waking up, not a single person was in the room. Zhen was now in thought that she might be insane, on the verge of a psychotic breakdown but knowing herself, she was far from it. Taking large sips, Zhen walked back to her couch and sat down, looking out at the empty space. Mindlessly, Zhen picked up the remote control and turned the television on; watching whatever was left the few hours before she went to bed. Though the T.V. was on, Zhen paid no attention, for all she could think about was the nightmare that haunted her still, the man that was never executed. ?Earlier this week, a diplomatic consul has been assassinated by an unknown source. It is rumored that the consul is a distant relative of a earliest known Xiong Nu leader, Dou Man. Although the information about the assassin is unclear, it is advised that we keep a look out for the person who killed the consul.? Changing the channel, Zhen fell upon a Chinese horror movie that she thought was predictable yet strangely comforting. To her, horror movies were all a bit overrated and a bit outdated but in the essence of making them, they seem to tell the tale of one?s life, one?s fear, and one?s destiny linking with that to another?s. It just makes it all the worthwhile to watch and laugh, and maybe even get scared, but that was highly unlikely. OOC- Sorry for the short post but it?s the best that I can do at the moment.
22. The merriment of drunken humans, dwarves, and others were loud and obnoxious to Daigon?s ears. He cared nothing for their drinking and playful conversation but their incessant singing and bickering was something that he wanted to escape but as he sat silently amongst the trees, watching them, he knew that there would be a time when he could bring down his revenge. His revenge for the destruction of the remaining Tauren. ?Blasted humans. Always have to mock the short people.? Turning around, the dwarf lifted his fist and shouted something terrible towards a pub that he had exited. Daigon watched carefully to see if the dwarf was intoxicated or even cautious of his surroundings but found nothing of the sort. The dwarf merely was in a state of dull tiredness and walked away to a nearby inn. Daigon, on the other hand, suddenly smelt the scent of an orc and immediately searched for the location of where that orc was, only to find the sly creature lurking on top of a roof, watching the intoxicated dwarf walk, more like stumble, towards the inn. Knowing orcs, Daigon knew that he had to stop his ally from harming the dwarf for it could measure up to something more horrendous than just another war, it could mean the destruction of all that is. Daigon threw a dagger towards the orc and it had created a dense sound that vibrated to the dwarf?s ear. At this point, he was wide awake and alert, ready for anyone to attack him. Seeing that no one was there, the dwarf walked into the inn and Daigon had his dagger back, which boomeranged back to him. The orc, on the other hand, was not at all pleased that Daigon interfered with his pleasurable tortures that he was about to execute onto the dwarf. He wanted information and the only way he would be able to do that is to grab an unwary and unsuspicious character from the outside and take him back. The orc approached Daigon with a forceful manner, not realizing to whom he was speaking to. ?Dwarves spit out words faster than any disgusting creature on Azeroth and you managed to blow it! Who do you think you are, you overgrown satyr?!? Without a word, Daigon lifted the orc by its neck and watched it struggle to remove itself from Daigon?s grip. ?I am no satyr, your crawling insect! I belong to the race of Tauren and I shall not take such an insult from a lesser being like you.? Daigon?s words were fierce and blunt, something that he hadn?t done in many a moon since he had left his village. He merely threw the orc aside and turned his back on it, knowing the orc wouldn?t do anything. The only words that Daigon spoke to the orc was, ?Where is your commanding officer?? OOC- Sorry for the late arrival. I had trouble with the post.
23. Name- Deborah Li Nam Gender- Female Age- 32 Appearance- Deborah, like most of the women, prefers to wear slacks, business suits, linen or silk jackets, and whatever fancies her boat. She?s not one for just one style, keeping with the so-called fashion and whatnot. Deborah is not what you call a practical woman when it comes to fashion. It matters not and whatever suits her, she wears. Anything that grabs her attention is enough for her to wear it. Personality- A perplexing woman, some would say, with finesse and sophistication, but also with a traversal style. Deborah is quiet yet she can be loud whenever the time is convenient for her. She is also very opinionated, letting others know exactly what she means and nothing more, but she is known to have an open mind, allowing herself to indulge on others? opinions and ideas. Deborah is a woman who stands by her morals and lets nothing past her. She ignores all the dirty little secrets and rumors that people cook up about her. She doesn?t care about the things that people say they would do to her, but if they were to ever slander her good name and depreciate who she is, well, taunt a pit-bull and they?ll bite, naturally. Alas, although she is a woman, it does not mean that she cannot handle herself. Deborah is known to be a temperamental woman depending on the situation and her mood, though she is nearly content most of the time. But, should the matter arise, Deborah will not hesitate to defend herself, whether it is in a heated argument, a debate, or a real challenge. Basically, Deborah is nothing yet everything that people say she is. She is what every person expects of her and more. She?s someone who knows what they want and how to get it, as well as, what they?re doing, where they?re going, and how they?re going to do it. All in all, Deborah is a kind-hearted person who is humorous, humble, and knowledgeable. She?s a person that never fails and never quits, much like the only female judge 2000 years ago, in the times of the Goddess. Character Snippet- Lain straight across the bed she slept in, Deborah couldn?t help but think about the things that her servant had said to her the night before. Something about how men could be leaders just the same as women, something about men having equal power as women? Deborah sighed and got out of her bed, but just as she had gotten out, a knock at the door interrupted her. She walked, glided, over to the door and opened it, only to see a house servant. ?Your breakfast is ready, ma?am.? The woman before her was timid and frightened. Deborah perceived that she hadn?t worked long underneath a mistress but smiled gently and put a hand on the house servant?s shoulder.
24. Name- Gabriel Age- 28 Class/ Job- A dark sorcerer, also Helena?s Lover Appearance- Gabriel- Height/Weight- 6?; 153 pounds Eye Color- Blue Grey Hair Color- Black with grey tint; a neat, short cut hair that is never messy Physical Appearance- Gabriel is of a medium build with muscles that are slightly defined, enough to show but not too look over exaggerated. He has an aristocratic look to him with his hair smoothed back and his clothing in a royal fashion. Attire- He wears a dark gray tunic with black trimmings underneath a full length black cloak held by a silver clasp that appears to be an emblem of two intertwining serpents. On his lower part, Gabriel wears black pants and dark brown boots. Weapon- A master of the weapons, as well as the magicks, Gabriel can either be seen using his sorcery or wielding a broadsword created from the finest and strongest of metal and bound by a spell cast by Gabriel that cannot be broken. It is a spell that allows only Gabriel to feel its light feathers wind around his hand and let him fight freely without it being a burden but when others try to hold it, the sword becomes heavy and almost unbearable to hold even for a few seconds because of the massive weight it had gained. Gabriel is seen wielding the broadsword in his right hand, while the left holds a dragon staff. It holds great elemental powers and even more mysterious powers that are unknown. The strange thing about the dragon staff is that, it appears as if it were manmade but whenever Gabriel uses the power of the staff, what appears to be a large black jewel awakens and turns out to be a dragon. It?s a mystery as to how the dragon infused itself with the staff but henceforth, the staff has been known as, lo and behold, the dragon staff- a weapon unlike any other. Natural Abilities- Gabriel was known for many things during his lifetime. He was known as one of the greatest knights in all the lands, as well as a valorous protector. But being a great knight and courageous hero wasn?t all that he was, he had much more up his sleeves than most people would think. This dark sorcerer was known as a great and powerful weapons master, able to wield any weapon in sight without fault. He was also known as a knowledgeable scholar who spoke with truth, an unorthodox alchemist who blew up nearly every laboratory heard of, a beast tamer that would go alongside his title as the captain of the army, and once upon a time, he was a blacksmith, working his way up to the top, gaining respect and filling himself with wisdom and knowledge. Now, Gabriel is known as the master of sorcery and the bender of the elements. He has become a man who can soak up a million words and remember it word for word without fault, a man who?s senses are heightened and equal to that of a dog, maybe even better. But overall, Gabriel is but a man who is blessed by an almighty force to have done such wonderful things. Genetic Variation- Ianus Imperator Subcribo- Being connected to Helena spiritually, mentally, and emotionally, Gabriel too went through a dramatic and painful transformation. He was given strange attributes and characteristics that one would not see on a human. He acquired draconic eyes that give him a clearer vision and focus, also allowing him to instantly change eye colors according to his emotions. He also was able to obtain elfin ears that curl back in an elegant fashion, giving him the ability to hear better than the average human, as well as elfin and demonic powers that strengthen his magic by tenfold and creates a thin yet powerful barrier around his body, making it almost impossible to penetrate, and he received tribal-like markings on his face and on the palms of his hands. Among that, he also has wings that grow up to ten feet in length and three feet in width. The strange thing about the wings is that it isn?t shaped as any particular wing type such as a dragon?s wing or an eagle?s wing, but more skeletal with sort of a metallic element covering the structure and what?s odder is that, the wings almost have their own mind, doing what it wants, appearing and disappearing at any moment it pleases. Personality- A happy-go-lucky and carefree person is who Gabriel is. He brings hope and light to those who are down, he lends people his shoulder to lean on when times are rough. Overall, Gabriel is an amiable person with a calm and collected mind, never allowing his self to explode in front of others or even exploding at all, but always with a smile on his face and an optimistic heart. He is filled with joy, patience, understanding, and self-control, some things that most people do not have or cannot gain in their lifetime. Though, Gabriel is a good and kindhearted man, there is a demon in everyone and anyone that can awaken any moment. He may be a merciful, compassionate, and benevolent man but he can also be malevolent, sadistic, and even merciless in any given situation. He can be ruthless in battle, taking no prisoners and destroying anything in sight yet he knows his boundaries and his limits and will not harm those that appear weak, injured, or harmless. Albeit, he is still wary of those he is not comfortable with. Gabriel is a person who is open-minded but also open-mouthed. He speaks his mind when necessary but can be a bit blunt sometimes, but never intending to hurt anyone. Even if Gabriel was a bit too straightforward, people always know that it is for the best and that whatever he says comes from the heart and rarely has problems with anyone. This makes Gabriel one of the most loved and well respected man anyone has ever met and in that sense, he is a man of honor, loyalty, and trust, never failing to help a friend in need. Motivation- Helena was Gabriel?s first and only love and he can feel the pain and torment that she is feeling. It only hurts him just as much as it hurts her but the world cannot be destroyed because of her pain. He wishes not to harm her but he cannot allow the death of the innocents. Gabriel will see to it that Helena is stopped in whatever way possible, even if it means killing her. Character Snippet-
25. Sitting in the corner of the dojo of the Legendary Beast Clan was Bao Xu, the most hated, feared, yet well-known and well-respected man underneath the Council of Four. Others who dared to speak with him were either mindless, looking for a death wish, or knew exactly how to handle Bao Xu. Many of them were in the category of mindless and looking for a death wish but those who knew Bao Xu, even before he was asked to join the Clan, knew who he was and how to take care of him. A hand was laid upon Bao Xu?s shoulder and without even opening his eyes, Bao Xu knew who it was and felt no need to comply. He allowed the assassin to sit next to him. Bao Xu knew that the silence the other created meant that the other wanted, needed, or had something that Bao Xu either had, knew of, or would be known as valuable information that Bao Xu needed. ?O genki desu ka, Bao Xu-sama?? The assassin knew that Bao XU was not going to look at him. So, without Bao Xu answering, the assassin took down his hand and slowly motioned someone else to walk closer. ?I have vital information for you.? ?Nani, Baku?? At this moment, Bao Xu answered but still did not look at the assassin. ?I might just tell you if you allow me to follow you on your expedition.? With one swift move, Bao Xu managed to tip Baku?s chair and threaten him with a single poisoned kunai. Though Bao Xu loved playing games, he was not too keen on playing that morning. Instead of trying to kill Baku, Bao Xu stood up and placed his kunai in its rightful place and helped the younger assassin up. He looked the Beast over and sighed. ?It is not an expedition that I go on, but merely an execution.? ?Hai, Bao Xu-sama, I understand. Anyways, I?ve learned that the Emperor sent messengers to the four scattered Kings. I also learned that the Emperor wants to destroy the Beasts by sending the Kings and their disciples to fight us.? Something suddenly sparkled in Bao Xu?s eyes as he heard this news. The other Beasts in the area listened to this and were now intent on knowing what Bao Xu was to do. Baku knew that Bao Xu couldn?t resist fighting the Kings for he had done so before and know that the Emperor has called them was something more than just news, it was an answered prayer.
