The Bible prophecies indicate in Isaiah that the Messiah would be unrecognisable, and his back like a ploughed field. It wasn't overly catholic either, it seemed to bridge the denominational gap pretty well.[/color][/size][/font] [font=Verdana][size=1][color=#708090]As for the queries about Satan with a child, I believe this represents Antichrist, called the [b]son[/b] of perdition.[/color][/size][/font] [font=Verdana][size=1][color=#708090]I'm baffled by the raven pecking out the unrepentant criminals eyes though, it wasn't in the Bible, if anyone wants to know, It was one of the things I found funny in this film. o_O it felt wierd laughing in that movie.[/color][/size][/font]

Why is God to blame for the state of the world, why not the Devil? [/color][/font] [font=Verdana][color=slategray]The eye candy and cinematography is superb, as is the dialogue, whilst beign minimal (we don't have any dialogue until at leas t20 minutes intot he movie) it is believeable in it's delivery. So is the blue and orangeish Cowboy Bebop logo, it's really good too. Making good use of the white space and the timing of the frames between animations. :babble: [/color][/size] [size=1][color=#708090]The other two I'm not too fond on, they're great and all, but I don't think they quite match the others in terms of layout.[/color][/size]

And I thought that Kill Bill should have been nominated for art direction, cinematography or even some actor accolades.[/color][/size][/font] [font=Verdana][size=1][color=dimgray]I was thrilled with Lord of the Rings clean sweep in their categories, tying up the record with Titanic and Ben Hur. I felt as if they were finally being honoured for all three as it were *shrugs*[/color][/size][/font] [font=Verdana][size=1][color=dimgray]I was a little dissapointed Big Fish didn't win in the sole category it was nominatrd in, best score. Danyn Elfman's Big Fish score was an exceptional soundtrack, but that's just my humble opinion.[/color][/size][/font] [font=Verdana][size=1][color=dimgray]like every other year Billy Crystal has hosted the show, the opening sequence and monologue. The humor lightens the mood and it was delivered well this year. I had never heard of the Triplets of BelelVille, but the clip they showed wasn't too, uh, absorbing.[/color][/size][/font]
