1. I wen't through the same thing that Maxsonic has gone through. I thought I had been banned until i saw that you had to re verify whenever you changed your e mail. I still can't believe it was that obvious >.<
2. I can't stand the narrow mindedness from these scapegoating religious fanatics quite frankly. If they're going to burn the stuff, hell, that' even worse! Whatever happened to "Judge not and you will not be judged?" I would suggest scapegoaters and hyporites re read their bibles, and stop giving passive christians (the "you have your belief and I have mine") a bad name ya know?

Ifd there is a tutuorial for the blue flame, i would love to get my hands on it. I like the blue flame the best, having said that, I definately like hellbird better anyway.

5.
Originally posted by Endymion I still wonder why the U.S. once gave Hussein chemical weapons back in the 80's, if he's such a horrible person. I mean, did he suddenly become a cruel dictator roughly 12 years ago, or has he always been that way and we just didn't care?
He was goven chemical weapons by the U.S in the 1980's to fight the Iranians who were seen as a large threat to the U.S. he has always been a horrible dictatorm heck, in his first ever conference he shot dead anyone who opposed him. Why? to instill fear, to tell the Iraqi's "I'm the man" so to speak...
6. It looks much nicer if it isn't stretched out to 500 pixels in width.
7. This is the Academy awards discussion thread. Overall, how did you think the nights entertainment went? Did you think that whoever wone their respoective oscars deserved them? Who would you have picked for the Accolades? I though it was a very entertaining show, albiet quieter and less glamorous because of the damn war. I felt dissapoineted Lord Of the Riungs failed to bring home best picture again, oh well, maybe next time they will honor it. Steve Martin was an excellent host. He kept the laughs up, and thats what I like best about the Oscars, the ability for Hollywood to pokje fun at Hollywood. I think the Kodak theatre is an exellent choice of venue too. I saw quite a bit of anti war sentiment, which was cool. Actors not afraid to spoeak their mind, apparently the hosts and presenters couldn't, but they could (the accepters of the awards) Is that true? Overall, what did you think of Oscars 75th borthday?
8. Just advertise it in your signature, most of us have had/do have websites, and that's where we advertise them there. I don't think I'd be too happy to see an advertising forum here :)
9.
Originally posted by NeoCactuar Now, we have proved conclusively that "rods" are simply bugs filmed at slow shutter speeds. So, what we are left with is a claim that these mysterious animals fly too fast to be seen (which, by the above relationship, is only 41 MPH, 60 feet per second, for a foot-long "rod", i.e., about the same speed as many flying insects and slower than some), and they never land (which implies that either they sleep, eat, drink, and breed at those speeds or, unlike ordinary earthly animals, they don't need to do any of those things), and they never die, either naturally or by flying into something (or their bodies immediately disappear when they do). Yet the only evidence that they exist is completely indistinguishable from flying bug pictures!
Well, there goes my "advanced U.S Spyware that is beyond our petty non C.I.A comprehension. Nevertheless, I still find Rods fascinating, the fact they travel at a fastewr speed than anything and why they are only visible way slowed down, as compared with other bugs which are visible on camera. I still want to capture a Rod on video, whether they are bugs or not. :D

11. Here is a thread to get the heat off the war topic. Aliens! :D Are They | Real? Do you believe in UFO's, The unexplained? Do you think that aliens have come to earth before? Personally, i think they are fallen angels. What other alien stuff has got you thinking? What about the Rods? Have you ever encountered something woerd before? Do you think there is something out there that is not science fiction? I myself, had an unexplained experience. Not necessarily an alien. I was praying last night and looking skyward, when an unsusual throbbing started in the sky. It passed over my head (you couldn't see it, but could tell due to sound frequencies)and the direct moment it passed over me. My body warmed up, and cooled off again. I thought it might be a secret Military aircraft or something like a genetically modified bird we don't know exists yet. It was really freaky, and I Wanted to hear others opinions about UFO's, Aliens, and the Unexplained.
12. I think we should all just think for a minute lol. No one is disputing that war is a good thing. The majority of Pro War opinion, including mine, Is sorry it had to come to this, but in retrospect, he was given 12 years to disarm. Surely, Anyone can see that he is dangerous, and that we have to remove him by all means, before we get a biological or chemical catastrophe on our hands. would you still be anti war if he nuked Sydney? or if he gassed New York? I don't think so. correct me If I'm wrong. I would like to have seen this end diplomaticaly, but unfortunately, action had to be taken, this action will liberate thousands of Iraqis from oppression and dictatorship rule. So I believe this war is far over justified. It can't end peacefully like everyone wants, Saddam made that pretty impossible by ignoring the deadline.
13. The Harry Potter book series has been attacked by the christian community for it's occultish powers. It is important to realise J.K Rowling uses real occultsh chants. However, our church has a book on Harry Potter, it's a guideline to reading it! Christians can read Potter books, just to let you know.
14. Speaking as a christian, i believe that, if I don't worship the gods the characters worship, then it's okay. many games have characters that worship other Gods, even ones they make up! If I don't worship them, and use the games for gaming alone. Then I won't be corrupted, hopefully :p Though i've nver played D&D, or seen the movie, So I don't know for sure.

Jason X

Thankyou for your opinions. I do only watch these movies because of the Gore, and the violence. Heck, all those horror movies are funny to me, especially the stupid childs play ones, as if they were ever meant to be scary! I don't get spooked at movies ever. I was told to see the exorcist and that'll scare you, yeah right! I didn't see it this weekend, but your description of an "upgraded" Jason has me intriqued. It is certainly a must see for me now.
16. The first signs of spring over in the north, obviously mean the first signs of winter here :nervous: We get a whole host of spring time flowers, from various countries, the direct result of colonisation from many western cultures o_O;;
17. It is mot right for anyone to assume that someone has gone to hell unless you knew the complete circumstances. If the Iraqi never knew god, God would still accept him because he didn't know. God is a fair and impartial judge. The Iraqi population is certainly not evil. The want Saddam gone. I havent seen the guy beating the image of Saddam with a shoe, but I say, good on him! I hope Iraq can come out of this a stronger, united country.
18.
Originally posted by DuoMax That is totally true. My main probolem with the Israelis is that their soldiers are out using M16s to respond to kids throwing rocks. Talk about using hammer to swat a fly.
Yeah, the israeli army is completely going about it the wrong way. i gives the impression all israelis hate muslims, when it is simply not the case. they are both as bad as each other, and just becaus ethe bible says the Jews are the chosen ones, doesn't mean they have to tramle others woith the whole "holier than thou" attitude. It really bugs me.
19. I respect your decision to support the palestinian movement, even I would like to see a Palestine state, it's only fair. You do realise that this whole scat between the two is over one little hill? In fact, it's the temple Mount. Home of the israeli place of worship, the wailing wall, and the muslim place of worship, where Mohammud ascended to heaven. The israeli's want to build a third temple, to replace their destroyed ones. However, the Muslims do not want to give up Dome of the Rock, it's a realy sticky situation however, it fulfils bible prophecy of the last times, time which we could all be seeing soon if I am correct of course. So, i support Israel because it is their land. Meanwhile, I also bel;ieve a palestinian state can be achieved also, it's not so hard to satisfy both sides, it is petty wars that keep it all at bay. No one is willing to back down, they need to really work it out though.
20. Yes, Saddam attacked kuwait, launched scuds at Israel, used chmical weapons on Iranian just because he was losing, and torched oil fields because he was losing. Done nothing wrong? War not justified? If you give him twelve years to disarm, and he doesn't, and you give him two days to leave Iraq and he doesn't, don't you think he won't change his mind? I would love to see him change his mind, I would love to see him go into exile, I hate war as much as the radical anti war movement, but have realised it is a necessary evil to weed out a dictator bent on ruling the world. WMD= Weapons of mass destruction Cartoon from Hal Lindesy's website, your source for how this war fits into bible prophecy for the end times.
21. Phew, there are some pretty heavy opinions here, Mine is not exactly light either... Saddam Hussein is a dangerous man, we've already found that out. Done nothing wrong? How about invading Iran in the 1980's (which ironically had support from the White House at the time because Iran was seen as a great threat to national security) Or the 1991 invasion of Kuwait, sparking the 1991 Gulf war. And his terror is not limited to overseas, he does this to his own men! Saddam has weapons of mass destruction, the scud missiles, and biological and chemical weapons alike, and he is not afraid to use them. Saddam is at his worst when his back is against the wall, both using chemical weapons in the Iranian war in the 1980's and the tprching of the Kuwaiti oil fields in 1991. I will be interesting to see what Saddams regime will do this time. All that said, this war is not about oil. Iraqi's will be glad to see the end of Saddam's regime, for they are constantly living in terror and fear. Heck, Saddam put to death olympic athletes who misrepresented the country by losing! Amd when he was elected the president of Iraq, he shot to death anyone who opposed him. Seeing that footage sent a shiver up my spine. The guy is completely insane, and something must be done about his weaponry or he will use it. War has happened, as I type, the first ground troops are being sent in. I will adress the anti war movement now. How can ypu say war is not justified. The very people you say are victims, will be glad and rejoice when Saddam is gone. They know, at least the vast majority know that war is not against Iraq and Islam, it is agaisnt Saddam and his opressive regime. In all aspects of the war, none could be more clearer than the true purpose of the war. most Iraqis accept, and know, that war is inevitable an while they know that some of them will die, they also look forward to a world withou Saddam, a time when they can be free in the world, free from the opressive Saddam regime, and maybe, their country can go back to looking somewhat like Kuwait. George Bush does not want war, he gave Saddam ample time to leave Iraq, he patiently waited, while the securiuty council of the U.N kept extending it's deadline. their own deadlines had been violated, and yet they say "we will give more time" To me, that is justification to Go it alone" as it is commonly termed. Tony blair does not want to be off sided with the british people. Say an election was held today, he would be out on his ***. Tony Blai ha realised the call to war is necessary, so does John Howard, Prime Minister of Australia. Both men have sacrificed the popularity of the Australian and british people, heck even their own party members, for a war that is far more justified than either you or I, could even possibly imagine. I would ask you to think really carefully about the sacrifice of thousands of British and American and Australian troops in the Gulf right now, fighting an evil fascist dictator. I would hate to think they owuld be treated like trash and covered in pig blood if they returned, though I know todays anti war movement realises it's not the soldires fault. Bear in mind that this war is fully justified if you look hard enough, and examine the Iraqi crisis as it is playing out. Whichever way you go, at leas tknow that it is almost certain[/] that to this end, Saddam has run out of time, and now, it's time for him to give up

24.
Originally posted by postbagboy it reminded me of Plague all the way through. anyways, awww crap. i hope our little isolated country of New Zealand does'nt get it.
Same here, although our security is pretty tight. i.e Screening everyone from the infected areas for the virus before they come on to our shore, But we don't know how good other countries security is, so we might let someone in from a country deemed safe, who has actually got the flu from a passenger of an asian flight. I guess the best solution I can think of is pray, and run to the mountains and survive off the land for 10 years or so, until it goes away
25. And until I see a monkey build a hydrogen fueled vehicle, I won't believe in evolution ;) but hay, thats my opinion. There are endless possibilities when you take into consideration 500 years, in that time, Religion and faith may die out, but then they might have a spiritual revivla, who knows? I'm sure, given 500 years, we'll be unstioppable by any virus, able to cure mental illness, even clone regularly. As has been said before, the last 100 years has seen an exponential increase that doubles every 2 years (knowledge). We might even be galaxy hoppers, heck, we could probably breathe in space with our enhanced lungs which use solar energy! the possibilities are endless
