I'm going to see this movie on the weekend, I was just wondering what others thought of the movie. Supposedly, Jason Vorhees, the serial killer, is cryogenically frozen and thawed out by aliens thousands of years in the future. And then he does what he does best, goes on a killing spree. Does it live up to the first Friday the 13th's? Is it as good? what are your opinions on this gruesome franchise (not the last sequel, Jason goes to hell, was supposedly the last one)

 The plane I used before my X2 avatar took alot of effort to animate and then make into a gif. I guess that's the only Time I'd care. (I don't know how long it took Medra to make his cool ava). My X2 ava is just a pic cropped from the internet, so i wouldn't care.
Originally posted by Harry Notice that storms are getting more frequent recently? Storms create Ozone. Humans don't need to help the earth, the earth isn't as weak as the nature freaks want you to believe.
 hmm, yes I did notice that, along with the increase in earthquakes. I look for biblical fulfilment like that. As for the Kyoto protoclo, IMO I think they could have come up with something so completely different, and easier to implement.... If you made hydrogen cars then their would be no more need for oil and then, you take the power right out of saddams hands, this is a decision that would obviously better the world in more ways than one. In about two billion years, The sun is going to be a red Giant, it isn't one yet, ore there is another stage, corrdct me if I'm wrong. But scientists predict that in two billion years, it would have swelled up to swallow earth. So I hope either DK's right about colonizing space, Or I'm right about God saving us. If neither happens, then our future siblings are screwed, if overpopulation doesn't kill them first o_O;;

 Do you think man will survive? I want to discuss the current global climate, Global warming, wars and rumors of wars. Escalating crime. Is it taking it's toll on Earth? And what about a nuclear showdown? It seems as if us humans cannot keep this planet in order, we have dsomated precious forests, essentially killing off our oxygen supply, permeated the atmosphere with ugly smpog and smoke, the hole in the ozone is getting bigger, and it looks like we're about to fall into armageddon, wether it's the biblical armageddon or not is not what I'm debating here, it is the current world crisis. So I put forth these questions to you. Do you think there will be a year 2525? Do you think the Zager and Evans song of the same name is rining true to an extent? What can we do, as a whole human race, to stem pollution, wars and other evil things. What can be done to stop this slowly increasing slide into self destruction.:devil: Do you think the Kyoto protocol should be enforced on every nation? do you think it would make a difference? And is it possible, considering we cloned a sheep not too long ago, to reproduce ozone chemicals and place them in the hole like a giant bandaid?:angel: think carefully, These questions concern the future of your children and grandchildren. If the polar ice caps melt, then Overpopulation will really be an epidemic. What do you think? :drunk:

 Where in the Bible does it say he can do everything People just assume that. Anyway, God will be able to create a rock to heavy, yet lift it, in a way our feeble human brains could never comprehend. The Bible says he's omnipresent (ie. everywhere) it never says he can do everything anyway, This paradox was brought to my attention by Piromunkie ages ago, so bleh :angel:

 It is apparent that i have yet to see a reasonable counter argument against the creation theory, Everything i typed in that long post was either ignored or conveniently left out. if I said a tornado ripped through a junkyard and came out with an f 15 fighter jet, and then showed you a bunch of junk in it's various stages to accomplish the jet, would you believe me? As for the "what size was the earth" Did you not read my full argument about Noah's ark? I said that the build up of ocean sediments point to a noah's flood. moreso, would every civilisation remember them great flood? they do! It's found in islam, even through to aboriginal tribes in Australia, there are enough civilistaions that remember a great flood, with a boat full of animals (or vessel to similar extent) that it must've happened. and the people in the boat, they number the same, and are supposedly the only righteous people on earth to survive the flood. Back to Babylon. I said i would revisit this ;) This is where God confused the tounges of people and mixed the races. This is where our chromosones come in. Through a string of x and y chromosones coming together in different ways, we get, skin tones, accents, and languages were evolved to an extent from thousands of years of separation and wprd of mouth lanugage repititon. Chances are no one speaks the original tounge anymore. I have given you the proof, you say prove it, and then i do, take time to consider my points, theyre not a stupid as you think.

 The whole war in Iraq has gotten ridiculous, so ridiculous, it has hit a new low, Freedom Fries and freedom toast. why aggravate the french? Does the bush administration want their oild too? Honestly, On the news last night, we saw these two congressmen holding up a plaque dedicated to the "freedom fries" What an utter disgrace. And yet, it is ironic that the frenc ARE the ones wantiong peace, it just shows you, America, how you government can be so narrow minded and petty. A truly horrible day for US/Franco relations, Im sick of the whole ***ing war.

 Here's my opinion Mitch, it is my hope that everyone can read this with an open heart, especially those who think they're going to see us converters drop to our knees in tears, so to speak. There is a god; there is plenty of evidence for it. More so evidence for the Christian God more than any other God. I will explain in detail the evidence, the facts, and the proof. What about Noah?s Ark? Did all those animals stay on one tiny boat? No, only two of each. And it is possible that the variating species of cat, dog ect. Happened at Babylon, I will explain that further later in this piece. Noah's ark was discovered on Mt Ararat. I've seen it, it the remains of a giant wooden boat, what else could it be? There is a distinct pattern of sediments, and fossils, as well as canyons and caves that could have only been created, and point to, a catastrophic flood of biblical proportions. Are these fossils of fish and reptiles really our ancestors? Evidence speaks against it. The evolution of earth is ridiculously coincidental. It involves the most unlikely of situations, including a primordial soup from which a random spark of energy sparked random one celled life. This does not say, however, how that random spark could have possibly created all the coding in our genes making it possible to reproduce. It is the same possibility that a tornado can rip through a junkyard and come out with an F-15 fighter jet. It is the same possibility that you could throw all the necessary parts to make a computer in to one wooden box, spin the box around and while it was spinning, randomly solder the parts together until a supercomputer just, happens. The watch and the universe a complex, yet no one doubts that a watch comes from the watchmaker, how can you look at this world, this functionality, and design that is apparent in everything the lord created, the various planta and life forms, the mysteries of the bottomless oceans. The sunrise and fall without fail everyday. It soon becomes apparent that this design was no coincidence. Any closer to the sun, we would be too hot to survive, any further, and we would be too cold. This planet is in the exact place for life to sprout, furthermore, the earth is on the exact right axial tilt for the whole earth to get is fair quota of sunlight. The ecologists claim tat about 1% change in the earths atmosphere will bring a cosmic doom, turn that coin around, how did it get so delicate in the first place? Someone went to a lot of trouble, to balance things here. PROPHECY Prophecy is the key to all matters godly, it says in the bible that in the last days, there will be many god wannabes, so to speak, and that God will prove to creations that he is the one and only God, by predicting future events. I know, it's the same as Nostradamus, but God says in the bible, that only the Bible will get it 100% correct. There are many flaws in Nostradamus prophecy, which seem to detail on America most of all, albeit, I agree his revelations on America are startlingly true, he has got a lot of things wrong. But here are the bible prophecies that have been fulfilled. In exact detail. The Birth of Jesus (oldest scroll dates back to 90 B.C) I know, the sceptics say it is vague, and could be applied to anything, but I implore you to seriously consider these points about the Jesus prophecies. Born in Bethlehem (how can you dictate where you are born?) Born of a virgin (how?) Born in a time when people will weep because of him (Herod slaughtered thousands of innocent children, hoping to get the messiah, and the parents of those children mourned and wept) At crucifixion He was nailed between two thieves (do you know a judge who will send you to a prison cell with whoever you choose, well, Jesus did not know where his cross would be did he?) Given sour wine and pierced in the stomach (it was common for roman soldiers to break the victims legs at crucifixion. But since Jesus died s u=suddenly, in three hours, they did not, instead, they pierced his side with a spear to see if he was still alive) All these things have passed. Here are some in modern times, which have set into motion, the final revelation. Rebirth of Israel as a nation, No coincidence, this happened in 1948. The rebirth of Israel is certainly not vague; the Bible described the land it would take to a perfect degree. The seventh empire of the world, the advanced European union (the bible talked about a seventh kingdom on the earth, this is it. the seventh major empire on the earth) A new world Order, the coming antichrist, and one government for the whole earth. (While technically not fulfilled yet, the bud of this prophecy has sprouted as the United Nations) So you see, there are plenty of reasons for you Mitch, and others to believe in God, these are but a few. This goes of other Otakuons today; you can simply say a prayer of salvation and be saved right now! In your own home! God has given you the evidence you have laughed at and said it's non-existent. When you ask 'where is the evidence' God replies in full with servants like myself Now he awaits your response, and what you plan to do with the evidence you have been waiting for. God is not distant and angry, he loves you, and he want's to draw you near today ;) Oh, and God has left us to sort out our own problems, while caring for each one of us on a spiritual plain. I agree with deathknight too, God could have created the earth using a big bang, or he could be an oak tree :p, but I dounbt it. jesus will return when the time is right, trust me, it will be soon. I hope :whoops:

 I haven't seen the show, i never will. It's a blasphemy to marriage for one thing, and another, it's just plain crap. I watched this show, Greg The Bunny, which was on FOX, and TV3 picked up the rights to show it in New Zealand. And the cancelled Greg the Bunny (a hilarious, yet stupid show) and they put on, you guessed it, another "looks like it's been **** out" reality show. Come on, Hellivision sucks nowdays. Except for anime, and Greg the bunny (we are only on episode one) Down with FOX, Down with Hellivision. :devil:

 I would choose the teenager out of empathy, I kno what it is like to screw up. Maybe the teen would have the renewed will to try even harder, I don't know, but there's every chance the baby would screw up in the exact same way. And the grandma, hate to say it, has seen the world and lived a fulfiling life. I would give my effort to someone who hasn't. As for the loaded gun. I wouldn't do It. Money is not worth that kind of risk, even if there were one million guns and only one was loaded. oh. :bluesweat I might take that chance :p
