Otakuboards overall post count is testimony to how good these boards are, That we could get so many topics, threads and suggestions over such a short time. August 2001 - December 2002, that is just a little over a year ya know, so think where we will be in 5 years (another thread about that). By the way, I wonder how much bandwith we will take up in 5 years, considering that OB has kept every SINGLE post. (excluding the ubb days)

What you did here takes alot of guts. It is not easy in this world to be gay, and i really have an issue with people who shove their beliefs around like they own the place, so like veryone here has said, I will not think of you any differently, to me, you're still the same Shyguy that moderates the anime forums. On another point, Nostraduamus has gotten alot of his prophecies wrong, I don't really know about Indigo Jones, so i don't know if he was wrong somewhere, but i would say that would be true. The Bible tells us the way to discern a false prophet is that they get things wrong. Wheras The Bible has been 100% accurate. [/color]

[color=red] Vegets has been through a few changes over the 250 odd episodes, His character has developed and changed over the series, and I like that in an Anime. Vegeta's evil character has slowly been turned good, showing Toryamas professionalism when it comes to manga storylines. [/color]

[color=red] Dubs are good for one reason, the only way i can watch anime :p , besides that. I really hate dubs that totally twist an distort the plotlines so kids can watch it, even when the original show was not for kids, Dragonball was marketed at the adult audiences in Japan, so should have been kept that way, FUNI saw animation, though it was for kids, saw the language and violence that would make any sane person change the kid opinion quickly, warp and distort and water down the action and language until it is kidsafe, that's a bad dub, the rest are fine. [color=red] Some of those cartoons are quite cool, like Semjaza said, sometimes you don't want to watch something that stimulates your intellect, you just want to sit and have a laugh. All the great looney tunes classics do it, as well as the modern ones like Spongebob, and Courage the cowardly dog. and Veggietales, they are a great tool to communicate the bible to our younger church members (we have a heap in our video library) We don't have the Jonah one though, be funny if they did a revelation one and managed to kept it PG :p [/color]

[FONT=arial] [color=red] Valen, the whole thing about the year 2000 being the apocalypse was mis read doctrine, they take it from revelation 20:7 which says, "when the thousand years are up, satan will be released from his prison and will go out to decieve the nations in the four corners of the earth, which are called Gog and Magog". When this actually refers to a period of a thousand years when Christ will reign on the earth. So the whole year 2000: apocalypse thing was wrong, but now the scriptures are coming true and have done since 1948. [FONT=arial] [color=red] Here is something that I have had to deal with as a Christian and believer in Jesus, it really annoys me that people can go around saying Nostradamus this, Nostradamus that, when the guy gets a few little details right all over the place, and the Holy Bible, which is 100% accurate in its predictions of Jesus, which were all fulfiled nicely, and the events and prophecy coming to light in this day, about to bring about the second coming, are being passed off as fairy tale. FACT: The bible is a heck of alot more accurate than Nostradamus EDIT: btw CWB, when you consder that 1000 years unto the lord is like a day, then the time thingy issue is not a problem, and about the Bible being against pro - creation in the new testament, where did you get that from? IMO, Mainstream Rock music has never had a postition in Dragonball, and I'm glad it now doesn't. maybe when the characters are trying to be silent to add to the suspense, we wont get some aggro guitar riffs ruining everyhting.
