Braidless Baka

I'm gonna leave this open a few more days then probably start it, no sense leaving it dragging it's toes like it has been for the last 2 months O_o!

Well... assuming this thread is over two months old - I was just going to let it die in peace... But since Geist is so darn persistent (he won't just leave it be! O_o) I'm going to redefine it a little bit... See if we can get anymore bounty-hungry pirates to join us ^_^ ARG, ME HEATRIES! #_O;; *laughs* Okay... here's a redefinition of the plot: Treasure Planet is a Disney movie (that isn't so new by now =/ ) and it basically revolves around the finding of a legendary treasure. The planet it was on was the stuff of fairytales and legends, and there was debate as to whether or not it even existed. Now we're putting together a crew in an attempt to find that special planet! We believe we're in possesion of a map that will tell us exactly where the planet is, we're not sure how to read it yet, but we'll work it out along the way. And we'll find gold and riches beyond our wildest dreams ^______^;; How's that for an adventure?! So... My character is above along with Geist's and vicky's if you need a framework to follow for character creation -- don't worry about it following the movie, we're mostly disgarding it ^_^ If you have seen the movie, make up a character [u]to fill a slot[/u] -- if you haven't, then don't worry about it, I can take on any extra characters we may need. I [b]do not[/b] want to see any characters straight out of the movie... So... there we go ^_^ We can start with three of us, but maybe a few more looty-hungry pirates would liven things up a bit? Be unique! Be original! ^____^;;

Since some of you may not have played far enough to get to Sin, I'm gonna enclose the whole problem in spoiler tags, then nobody can accuse me of spoiling anything ;) [spoiler]Basically... I've shot both Sin's arms off, destroyed the core, and seen him go down in a wonderful plume of blue smoke. But now I'm stuck. It's the part where Sin "draws in" the ship, and his overdrive ups everytime he does. His HP is something like 140000 and I just can't kill him quick enough -- and his overdrive spells instant game-over, even if it's an aeon in play at the time. All the FAQs and Walkthroughs I've seen say how you should blast him with Anima's Overdrive, then with the Magus Sisters... and that should render Sin defeated. But I don't have Anima or the Magus Sisters. I don't think I can even go back to get Anima, so I'm pretty much stuffed. Can I go back to get Anima or the Magus Sisters from this point in the game? If so... how? Or are there any other methods of beating Sin?[/spoiler] Any suggestions? I'm desperate!! O_______o;; [color=indigo]Combined this with the other FFX help thread. - Desbreko[/color]

The "Perfect Villain" is a guy (or girl - gender's irrelavent) who knows [i]exactly[/i] what they're doing... and is horrendously evil about it... The idea of childish villainy isn't really one I appreciate too much, although that quote you mentioned is [i]so[/i] true, a child's mind is incredibly cruel, but only because they're too young/naive to know any different. But childish villainy isn't really "true" evil... We had a discussion last year somewhen in my English class, and we decided that for a "villain" (fine we were discussing Shakespeare but it applies here too) to be truely evil, they must have no drive in what they're doing. They must be cold and calculated, and care nothing for the opinions of others, but they must be completely in control. Like, you're saying childish villains, but to me they're not really villains. More like makers of mischief. Very bad mischief, but mischief nonetheless. Well, I'm done O_o I would rant more but I have to get to work! Maybe I'll come back and rant some more O_o!

First animes eh? I think I can safely say it was "Pokemon" -- Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball are things I still cannot stand unto this day O_o If anything, they had a hand in steering me [i]away[/i] from the genre! But Pokemon didn't hook me into anime, it hooked me into the whole "Pokemon" deal nothing more... my anime fan-ness has to be credited to Gundam Wing... I swear... Without that show I would be a totally different person today O_o I would probably be Shakespeare obsessed or something else literature-related O_o I prefer my anime ^_^;;

Hording his cards like some kind of humongous dragon guards its gold. Well... The search would continue! Then he turned at a light tap on the shoulder to see Selphie standing there. "Hey Zell!" Personally... I think it's [spoiler]Tsukasa's mother[/spoiler] I'm sure it said that it was in the series, and he always calls it [spoiler]mother[/spoiler] -- The reason I have spoiler tags is I think it's revealed a little later on... Although I doubt what the voice told Tsukasa is really true... It's too evil for that O_o Only time will tell ^_^ And just on the topic, I think Maha is the voice's minion O_o I don't think he likes threatening Tsukasa and intimidating him in the way he does... he just has to for his own sake... There! *pops 2 cents in the thread* ^_^

I'll just also add that it was spoken in German at the beginning of the game. If anyone has any theories as to why that could be significant, I'd love to know. True, it could just be the language the player who wrote it was a native speaker of. But call me curious... ;) And, I also think that the "key of the twilight" post on the BBS mentioned in the series (bareing in mind I haven't seen the whole series so it may have already been explained in a later episode) could be this one. They aren't sure what the post contains in the series, and I think Crim or BT mentions it's written in German. And, the Twilight Dragon, in my view, has to be something deep in the centre of "The World" I believe "the shadowed one" refers to Kite, or possibly The boy out of the manga (his name evades me) one of the main characters, who will have to go in search of the Twilight Dragon. And They'll need "The Key of the Twilight" to get to the Dragon, and the "Epitaph of the Twilight" will tell how he is to be defeated... So... like... a legendary monster I suppose... O_o The word "Twilight" suggests either the beginning or the end of "The World" - so this event, whatever it is, will be pretty important... I was just wondering, since I know a lot of you use instant messangers, and because I made an awful typo today... I'd been away from my computer, having been called to do something by the parents, while talking to someone on my instant messanger. I got back and I tried to explain that I'd been busy and forgotten to tell her I was away. What I meant to send was: "I was busy" What I [i]sent[/i] was: "I was busty" (the "t" and "y" keys being next to each other O_o) Now... being a girl, that caused a heck of a lot of hilarity. So... what are your worst typos? I'm hoping I'm not the the only one to make [strike]amusing[/strike] [i]stupid[/i] mistakes like that O_O!

Personally, my scariest "death" would have to be if there were others around me -- not like my family, but if I had an accident and my friends were there -- and they didn't know what to do, or they were waiting for an ambulance or something... I guess I'd be scared to... well... death O_o Anything including a murderer would be scary as heck too - I swear, the idea that someone can take another person's life scares me O_o

Personally, I'm in favour of the filter... Although I can see where people are coming from, and that the board members are getting more mature as time goes on, but I really don't see why swearing has to take a major form in a rap battle. I've been watching a few of these battles, and most of them are actually quite good to read. Like I sit and try to say them, and they work ^_^ And, this has been managed without any expceptions to the rules. So it [i]can[/i] be done, and should continue to be, without any changes needed to any rules or filters. Urm... that was my 2 cents ^_^()

Awww... *grins* That's really sweet. My only critisim is that it started off really strongly, but it faded out towards the end. I know you were using phrases from a song, but "more" should have happened in between them. I mean, she could have missed him at the hotel and he thought someone was stalking him. Something more should have come from the phone call, how did she know where he was? Y'know? Meh... I'm babbling ^_^ -- I love your writing style, it's emotive, I just get the feeling you were in a hurry to get it finished ^_^()
