Originally posted by AJeh And what's wrong with seeing Mickey doing the somersault get-up? I dunno about you, but I'd rather see him doing stuff than Goofy and Donald.. *shrugs and walks off*
Yes, I absolutely agree with you AJeh. I really don't see what the big deal is with Mickey doing stuff, ecspecially if he's doing flips like he's a ninja lol. If no one likes the idea of Mickey Mouse doing stuff, you probably just think that you're "too mature" for it. Well, if you can't except the fact that Mickey Mouse is gonna be fighting, then you can't be that mature.

Gaming Is anybody still addicted to Animal Crossing?
Sniglefager replied to SS5 Gogeta's topic in Noosphere
You better be careful with Nook. I think he's in the Mafia, because one of my neighbors said this: "He doesn't force you to sho there, but we er....look out for his best interests.";) He may be annoying, but you never know when he might lose his temper with you....lol. -
Gaming If they make another Super Smash Bros...

If there was online for SSB:M, I would probably wet myself lol. Seriously, I hate to brag, but I am literally the best Melee player in my whole town (that I know of), and I've been wanting to enter a real tournament forever, but I could never find one. I'm not saying I'm the best, but I am definetly good enough to win a tournament. Online for SSB is really all I would need in the next one. I think they have enough characters already, there's plenty of trophies, the game's challenging enough, etc. Maybe all the levels from the orginal, because I loved going down the tubes in the unlockable Mario level (can't remember the name), and Saffron City was pretty cool too. Oh, and maybe put in some more adventure stages. Playing as Link in the Mushroom Kingdom never gets old lol. Really, if they just had online though, it would be good enough for me. -
I saw something like this on Unsolved Mysteries. There was a statue of Jesus hanging from the ceiling, and one day, his eyes were moved. It was pretty freaky, and it scared me. Even though this is Jesus and the virgin Mary, this kind of stuff creeps me out, ecspecially because now people are gonna start saying it's the end of the world and stuff...

My school doesn't wear uniforms, but my step-brothers old school did. Now, since he's 5, he probably didn't really care, but when I visited there, I asked the 6th graders, and they didn't like it at all. My step-mom siad it was a pain trying to find the right clothes all the time. Other than that I don't know anything.

I've been interested in this game for a while. You control both Mario and Luigi in a new Mario RPG game, and while you're walking around, you can press either the A or the B button, and depending on which one you press, Mario or Luigi will use their hammer (at least that's what I saw on a video of it). The graphics look a lot like Paper Mario, which isn't a bad thing. I personally loved Paper Mario, and it was one of my fave N64 games (besides Mario 64 and Mystical Ninja). I was quite mad that you couldn't have Luigi in your party in that game ("Why can't that useless Goombario stay and watch the house!?") because ever since I was little, I've liked Luigi more than Mario (I don't know why, so don't ask.) The plot sounds kind of different than the normal Mario game though. Instead of Bowser kidnapping the princess, Princess Peachs voice has been stolen, and replaced with (gasp!) expletives. Too bad this game will almost for certain be rated E. I wanna see Peach cuss Mario out lol. If the game is anywhere near as good in quality as Paper Mario, I'll buy this game for sure. I'm not sure about this, but I heard it's coming out in December. Comments? Thoghts? Rants? Post them here.

I like just sitting inside when it rains, and looking out a window. Those are the kinds of days when I just like to sleep and do nothing except lay around. However, I don't like it when there's no electricty, because I would get very bored.

What's wrong with the other teams? I mean, sure Shadow's cool, and the new Omega guy sounds awesome, (I'm not gonna talk about Rouge here) but I'm looking forward to playing as team Sonic the most. Plus, I don't think they're gonna be fighting the other teams. Arn't they trying to defeat Dr. Robotnik and Metal Sonic? I also agree with James: Cream and Cheese are cool, and IMO are the best new Sonic characters to come out since Knuckles.
Originally posted by Terpischore Scenario 2: I was sleeping and (I was told all of this later) my mom was sleeping next to me because we were at our new house which had very few beds - so she was sleeping in my trundle bed in my room. So i suddenly sit up and tap her on the shoulder, not just a gentle tap, but like, urgent urgent urgent...and i didn't stop poking her till she woke up. Then i whispered, in this scared voice, "The Smurfs are whispering rhymes in my ear!" I kid you not. And then i repeated a rhyme. A RHYME!! I nearly fell down laughing when my mom told me the next morning..
   Oh man, you wouldn't belive how much I just laughed at that Smurfs thing! That seems like something I would say to my teachers. Teacher:Why wern't you listening? Me:I'm sorry, but the Smurfs were whispering rhymes in my ear. Teacher:Not again...

For me, this was the 2nd hardest boss in the game (the first time I played it). It's actually quite simple. You wait for him to to come out of the sand, and then lock on to his tongue, then use the hookshot. Once you drag him to you, chop away at his tongue. Just keep repeating the process. The main reason this boss is hard is because of those stupid worms that pop up everywhere. I didn't know the first time I fought him, but you can drag them towards you, too, with the hookshot. It's actually quite simple once you get the hang of it. If you're still not confident, make sure you have a fairy or two with you while you fight. Of course, I'm not sure if this would be "easier" because you never specified the tactic that you use, so I'm not sure if I was any help here lol.

Man, I used to think I was mean to my step-brother, but after reading about all this stuff, just pushing him out of my way and yelling at him don't seem bad at all lol. The worst thing I ever did to him, was when he was playing GTA3 at my house, I turned it off, and he cried for like an hour. My dad was very, very mad at me, but I was just trying to help him. I mean, I don't think a 5 year old should be blowing up cars and shooting hookers, but my dad made me turn it back on lol (and yes, my dad does spoil my step-brother a lot, he always has to buy him something when we go to a store.)

I have never really had a bully follow me around or anything, but people have been quite nasty to me. In Elementary school, I was quite popular. Almost everyone from grades 3-6 knew me, and everyone was quite nice. Then this new kid came in 6th grade. He's a HUGE show off. He did back-flips on the soccer field, he bragged about his CD collection, and he was quite mean to my friends and I. Then, when we went on a field trip to a camp, it turned out that me and one of my best friends were stuck in a cabin with him for a whole night. I wasn't really looking forward to it at all, but then, in the middle of the night, there was a loud thump. We went to go find out what it was, and it turned out he had fallen out of bed. We laughed ourselves hoarse till dawn. The only problem was that he wasn't seriously hurt. That should prove how much I hate him, because I rarely ever wish physical harm on anyone. Ever since that incident, though, he's become some what of a bully. He even ruined my image in 7th grade, and I was some what disliked by almost half the 7th grade. Oh well, as long as I still have my friends, I don't care what kind of stuff he does to me.

I just saw this on Unsolved Mysteries yesterday. There was this kid who had a bad sleep walking problem, and one night he just woke up and started sprinting. He got really far, a couple miles I think, but then a truck ran over him, and he died instantly. I didn't really pay attention to the rest of the sleep walking stories, but they were trying to find out what causes it, but no one really knows. My friend also said that when his family was staying over at his grandparents house, that his brother had been sleep walking. He said they found him the next day in a corn field lol. I'm not sure if this is true, cause my friend tells me lies like that all the time, but it's definetly possible that it could have happened. I used to sleep walk a little, but not much. My mom said that one time she heard me screaming "BOMB! BOMB!" in my bedroom like at midnight one time, and when she came into check on me, I was sleep walking lol.

yeah, I heard a little about it, and watched a trailer of it. It's supposed to take place during the Cold War I belive.

Hi, welcome to the Otakuboards. Just so you know, we don't allow these kinds of threads, and a mod will be here to close it down shortly. Have fun here, though, but read the rules.
Originally posted by dayday Yes, but she lied on me, took my stuff for no apparent reason, and made me cry in the middle of class. I was crying out of anger at her. Ans she didn't even care and sends me out the class for writing and she's my english teacher.
In 5th grade, our teacher found out she had breast cancer, so she had to leave for the rest of the year. We got this really, really mean substitute teacher, who gave us homework every single night. About a week after she came, we were doing science. I finished my work and went to the library. Then, about a minute before recess started, my friend came running into the library and told me that two girls in our class were crying. I asked him why, and he told me that one of the girls had asked the other one a question, and the sub thought she was talking. Then, she came over and said "Talking is nice. But it INTERFERES WITH YOUR WORK!!" and then she literally hit one of them. That was really the first time I wanted to kill a teacher, because both the girls were really nice. Luckily, we told our principal, and we got her banned from ever teaching at that school again :D

I think at one point in life, everyone wants to kill one of their teachers. I used to call my first grade teacher "Devil Heimer" lol. I really don't get angry much at all any more, but people like to try and get me mad. Like one time, this kid started jumping on my foot in gym class for no apparent reason, but I just laughed. But yeah, I used to get angry all the time, ecspecially at my brother, like when he literally destroyed my PS1. I almost strangled him for that one lol.
Question: In the original Super Mario World on the SNES, you just had to beat Funky (in the Special World) to change it to Autumn. (You know, with the different looking enemies?) What do you have to do in the GBA remake, Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2, to change it to Autumn?
In Super Mario Advance 2, you have to find all the goal posts, or in other words, find all the levels and find the different exits for the ones that have multiple ones. My question is: Since I can't think of any other questions, I'll just ask how do you get to the "Minus World" world in Super Mario Bros.? EDIT: Maybe this question is too hard? Either that or you people are just lazy lol. I'll wait for a little while longer, but if no one answers, I'll just edit again and put in the answer. EDIT#2: One of the cooler tricks in SMB was the elusive Minus World. The Minus World is a hidden level, infinitely long, which is obtained through a glitch in the game. Here?s what you do: at the end of level 1-2, make sure you?re Super Mario and stand on the green pipe. Smash all of the blocks above you except the last one on the far right. Then, stand on the pipe and face left. Jump straight up while holding right on the D-pad. Your goal is to jump through the bottom left corner of the block, causing Mario to be pulled through the wall. Make sure you go down the first pipe on the other side of the wall before it says ?Welcome to Warp Zone.? You will then be whisked off to the underwater Minus World! Ok, someone else can take the next question, since I can't think of another.
-
Isn't it in Pinna Park? I forget the actual level name, but it's where the little beaver in a cannon throws bo-bombs at you. Someone else can take the next question, causeI can't think of a new one.
-
This question was already asked on page 2, but the answer was 105. You can ask another question if you want though.

Well, I don't know about SA3, but they are making Sonic Heros, where you can play as different teams of three. One of the groups is gonna have Shadow in it, along with Rouge and Omega (Omega's a new character, but he looks like E-102 from SA1). I hope that helps you.
(Easy)Question: What was the original title that Super Mario Bros. 2 was based off of? SUPER MEGA EASY Bonus: What was it re-released as?
It was originally called Doki Doki no panic or something like that, wasn't it? And it was re-released in America as Super Mario Bros. 2, because they didn't think the original would sell as well. Question: Name all the locations in Super Mario Sunshine?

Mr. Game and Watch is from the old Game and Watch games. He's basically just like a shadow-looking guy. He's not that great of a character, but he's fun to play with.

I just saw it a couple weeks ago, but I just don't really understand the ending (I never do in scary movies). Oh well, I suppose I could always watch it again.

The onl AO game I ever heard of was Neurodancer for the 3DO, but I never played. I would guess almost all AO games could only be found on computers, though, and not consoles.
