And has anyone ever seen the HeadOn! commercials? "Apply directly to the forehead! Apply directly to the forehead!" "HEADON!" They must be very desperate to get people to buy their product.
ahahahah, I was going to put that one as well, I HATE that one! lol, so stupid. "Head on! Head on! Head on--apply directly to the forehead! Head on--apply directly to the forehead! Head on!" Then something about getting it at Walgreens or something, lol. And I love that crime deterrent one, it's such a classic. It's so random and funny, how could you not love it?

Umm, oxygen. It's saved my life plenty of times. Now that I'm done being a complete lame-oh, I'd have to answer music. It calms me down when I'm feeling rowdy, hypes my up when I'm energetic, and it keeps me sane. On a few different levels. Oddly enough, it's almost like my oxygen? That and my family. They keep me in place, they support me, bad or good, they love me, and all the like. I'd hate to think of a day when I don't have a single one of them in close contact, but it'll happen. As long as I have some type of contact with them, I'm fine. Oooh, and friends. They equal life for me. My best friends are some of the most important people to me, aside from family of course. They're supportive, and I love them dearly for everything they've done. I can talk to them about anything, it's amazing. Especially when those conversations are over an hour long. Fantastic, simply put. =]

Umm, ooh wow, it's been a while. Oh yeah, Miasma by The Black Dahlia Murder. That was when I went to their show here in San Diego. (Awesome show, by the way.)
1. Because I listen to Metal, it's difficult to find the music I love. These bands are in desperate need of every penny they can get, because the true Metal scene in the USA is so minute that barely anyone is buying albums and merhandise. If you just download their stuff, they're not recieving anything. It's not to say I don't download, because I do. But I always buy the actual album if I like it. I own 60% of the albums I've downloaded. The other 40% I don't buy because I don't like it. 2. Bands put a lot of time, energy, and thought into a CD package. The CD artwork, the printed lyrics, even the order in which the songs are placed is all there for a reason. When you simply download an album, you're missing out on an entire aspect of that music. 3. There's something utterly rewarding in having a real CD collection. I go through my friends CD cases (if they even have one...) and see CDR after CDR. It's so characterless and lifeless. When I go through all my CDs, it feels great! It's expensive, sure, but it's worth it to me. My CD collection is something I'm very proud of, and I wouldn't return a single album I own for cash.
Here here.

Hrm, well, I was getting pretty bored around the house here. So, I decided I'd start messing around on Photoshop more. And I came out with the following. I thought it came out rather nice, it took a little less then two days to complete. Yes, I do realize that it is rather busy. I'm particularly proud of the little brush effects I made, as well as the castle/tower things, lol. Comments and crit, please! =]
...and my mom's not nagging at me all summer to make a difference in life.[/size']
Gahh, that's what my mom's doing to me. I hate it, lol. I'm planning on applying to a few places. Maybe the Starbucks nearby, or the Round Table Pizza a few blocks away. I was also considering applying at the local Photography equipment store, seeing as how I'm getting into photography. Plus, I'd get free photo equipment. Which, as everyone knows, equals instant pWningz0rz bonus points. I don't know yet though, and that's what has my mom on my back nagging me to do something. =\

It has been a rather wierd start. Interesting, but wierd nonetheless. The US losing to Czech. Republic was a huge surprise. While I wasn't favoring the US to win the World Cup, I still thought they'd get that win over the Czechs. Meh, oh well I guess? I'm still hoping England takes it. It should be exciting.

I listened Fimbulwinter and I must say, I love the melodic voice that sings "As autumn falls away/Like the leaves it once.." That voice makes me want to cry. Haha, no literally, but yeah, I think you got my point. Whoever that is singing deserves a "I Made Lan Cry" award. lol However, your screaming voice could use a lot of work. It sounds like it's coming out of your throat too much, and it sounds like it must hurt. Badly. (Correct me if I'm mistaken, please.) It doesn't sound.. right? While I'm more interested in the more faster and hardcore side of metal, I have to admit you guys sound pretty darn good. You've just got to work on the screaming/growl of yours. If you'd like some pointers, feel free to PM me. :D Keep at it and let me know if you guys come out with new stuff. :)

Name: Janux Title: Janux, the Blade of Hope Number in Organization: IV Gender: Male Personality: The most sarcastic of the Organization, Janux loves having a good laugh even when it is at the expense of others. He doesn't have a problem expressing his opinion right away. He can be very stubborn when it comes to giving up, so he often times gets into situations that seem impossible to get out of. He loves a challenge. Surprisingly enough, he has a pretty good sense of justice and stands by his principles even when it seems that the multitudes are against him. Appearance: Click--With cloak. Click--Other image with cloak. Click--Without cloak and in normal gear. Weapon: Visible on my last link where his gear is visible and where he has no cloak on. Nobody: Ares--Ares the Dragoon, has high strength and lower than average defense attributes. What he lacks in defense, however, he more than makes up for it when it comes to agility and speed. He's very protective of Janux and tried to be as helpful as he can throughout his journey. He seems to react in unison with Janux's emotions, especially when it's that of anger, calm, and courage. He sometimes acts as Janux's scout, but oftentime whenever you see Janux it's likely that he's following close behind--whether he's visible to others or not. Character Snippet: His cloak hug him tight as he walked through the city. The rain fell down in small sprinkles. The Dark City's bright, flashing neon signs trying to attract both the locals and tourists alike. He looked up and saw his destination not too far away. He could already see his companion resting, almost as if meditating, not too far away. He was leaning against a building, waiting patiently for Janux to approach him. As Janux did, he opened his eyes. "About time, I was ready to go on in myself." "Haha, I'm sure you would have. I don't see why you didn't, would've saved me loads of trouble in the end." Janux gave a roguish grin and winked. "Bloody hell, Ares, how long have you been waiting?" Ares chuckled to himself, something that didn't happen very often. Janux gave a surprised look, "I hate when you do that," Janux said with a grin, "well, I'm ready and I suppose you've been for the past two hours or so, eh?" Ares gave a nod. Janux started towards the double doors near the entrance of the building. "Right then, let's go. I suppose you can't be a gentleman and open the door for me, can you?" Ares grinned, lifted his muscular leg, and knocked down the door. The two stared inside into the nothingness. It was black, but it wasn't still. And they could see hundreds of two little yellow dot's writhing around. They stopped as soon as the doors settled on the ground, staring at the newcomers. "Ready?" Ares asked, withdrawing his lance with a flick of his arm so skillfully it looked as if he had it in his hands all along. "Ha, always." Janux replied, doing the same flicking movement as a brilliant silver blade appeared in his right hand. They both turned away from eachother and stared into the darkness as the black started to writhe and undulate towards them. They then rushed inside, eager for a battle. ----- I hope this is OK. If not, just let me know and I'll edit anything you need. I really enjoyed your intro, Crucifix. Fascinating stuff. I also enjoyed doing the sign-up. Once again, if you'd like anything changed just go ahead and let me know.

I don't think the green abstract background fits with the banner itself. I don't like that white blotchy looking thing near the middle either. It just looks out of place. Not trying to sound rude or anything, but I HATE the font you used for this. Especially because it's in bold, it distracts you from that stock of Riku you used. Your cropping of the stock isn't done so well either. There are stil white areas near his hair from the original image and some parts of his hair are just missing. The banner would look nice with a border, as well. The opacity is done fairly well. Once again, the background you used is a little distracting and ends up making his face just look a tad bit odd.
hey i just one question. What would the topic be if we started a chat room?
I'm not saying that I'm a professional with these things, nor am I saying that I think we need one. I could care less, really. Anyway, I don't think there would be one lone subject for a chat room if one was to be made. I think it would be a public one where people just chat about anything with friends from OB. And we tried a chatroom once. On TheOtaku.com, I only went on it once so I can't really say whether it was a success or not.

Correct! Ha, no. You can go ahead and post an image. This actually this is quite addicting. I may be entertained, lol.

Mohawks aren't very interesting. Punks keep getting them, and I'm kind of getting used to seeing them around the streets. And because I live in San Diego, I don't see many punk kids. I mainly see the whole "Prep" kids on the street or near the beach. It's not very trendy anymore, when kids get them at school they just end up getting stares for the completely wrong reason. I'd prefer a faux hawk--but I'm trying to grow out my hair at the current moment. Maybe when I decide to get it cut? Meh.

This one's really lame, but oh well. "You deserve a ticket." "Why?" "See, you've got 'fine' written all over you." Ha, if I ever used that one, I'm sure I'd get slapped.

Ha, this is fun. Mine's really lame, but oh well. I may try my attempt at a funnier one later.
Dead poetic is good :)
Well, it's nice to know the new kids here at OB are fully reading and following the rules. There are quite a few bands I listen to that wouldn't be considered mainstream. The Academy Is..., Armor For Sleep, The Black Dahlia Murder, Burden of A Day, Dead Poetic, The Fall of Troy, Fleshandbloodrobot, Glass Casket, Into The Moat, Job For A Cowboy, Saosin, Scary Kids Scaring Kids (My favorite band at the current moment), Senses Fail, and UnderOath are only a few bands I listen to that wouldn't really be considered mainstream. However, many of those bands are becoming more widely known. UnderOath for example, they've gotten much more listeners since Warped Tour here in the U.S. I wouldn't really consider Brand New a non-mainstream band--they've been getting quite a bit of air-time here in San Diego.
(short note: I almost forgot about the costume change. Yes, every kind of world we would have something different on, and our main weapon will change also.)
Well, I don't think every world should have a costume change. I think there should at least be two worlds where we stick with our original "costume." That way, we won't have to always describe our new costumes in posts and what-not. I think it would be hard to think up a different costume for those worlds, as well. Such as Shrek II. So yeah, I think it would be better if we only had a costume change for a few worlds, maybe four or five-ish?
-
You changed the "Level Status" text! =] I was just wondering if the text at the bottom left of the card has any significance with the card. (The "SD1 NC01" text.) I was also wondering whether or not, like the Yu-Gi-Oh! and Pokemon card games, you were going to design holographic cards.

Interesting. I'm not so sure about your Saw II idea, it may be a little too intense for Kingdom Hearts, but other then that it seems like a mighty fine idea. I'd join. Your Harry Potter and Lord of The Rings ideas are the ones that interest me the most. Maybe, for those worlds, there could be a costume change? In the Harry Potter world, we could have a costume change into wizards robes and in the Lord of The Rings world we could have a costume change into Lord of The Rings armor (and possibly weaponry as well?) Well, those are my two cents.

It depends on your plot line, but so far you've got me interested. If it's got a plot thats something near or exact to: "A terrorist madman has hijacked 15 nuclear warheads. Are you a tough enough guy to blow him up and save the world?" then, honestly, I probably wouldn't bother reading let alone joining. Try something unique and completely different to the game/book series and I will seriously consider joining.

Alright, I?ve been noticing that there have been quite a few threads where people ask what game they should buy next or what RPG they should try out is. So, I decided to create a thread where you, the members, can recommend a game that you have played (whether you suggest they buy it, try it, or skip it). OK, before we start I?d like to post a few examples of what good and bad recommendations look like. [ Good Example ]
Name: Final Fantasy XVII (Obviously, there is no such game in existence.) Brief Description: (No spoilers unless absolutely necessary!) The best thing about this game is: Self-explanatory Rating: Out of a total of five stars, what do you rate this game? You should: Buy it, try it, or skip it? What do you think? Final Word: One last thing about the game you think would be nice to mention. (Once again, no spoilers unless absolutely necessary!)
[ Bad Example ]
dood, I lIkE totaly thnk you shuld get fnial FaNtAsY xvii beecuz it?s such a c00l and aw3s0m3z0rz g@me!!!!!11!!1one I give it a 3hundred out of fivestars!!1 haha, I Just made up a funny joke!! Wanna here it?!?!?!?! [insert approximately 16.3 smileys here] add me to your friends list!!!!!
OK, now that that is out of the way, let the recommendations begin! I'll start this off. Name: Gran Turismo 4 Console: Playstation 2 Number of Players: 1-6 players (with multitap) Brief Description: With authentic cars, courses, and car physics, Gran Turismo? 4 adds an even more realistic racing simulation to the series. The characteristics of each car take into account weight, speed, friction, and more to deliver realistic handling. Test-drive new vehicles in courses located in various sites, such as Nurburgring Nordschleife, New York City, the Grand Canyon, and Tsukuba Circuit. Along with Career mode, Gran Turismo? 4 highlights the new GT Photo mode. The best thing about this game is: Graphics, hands down the most beautiful game known to man that involves cars. The vehicles are so well done, as is the enviroment and your pit crew. Rating: 5 out of 5 Stars You should: Buy it Final Word: Beautifully designed game along with an amazing soundtrack that includes many different types of bands.

I agree, Baron. Although I don't have many PMs (due to the fact that I like everything neat and in its place), that would be an excellent idea for anyone who has an excess of PMs in their Inbox, Sent, or in their other folders. It would save loads of time not having to search through quite a few pages full of PMs in order to find just one.

The drawing seems like it was made in no more then an hour--for that time, it's quite good. There are a few flaws though. The guy's left arm has a wierd lump and his head looks odd. His eyes are slightly askew and his hips are rather thin for a male. As for the girl, I can't tell which way her body is facing. I assume it's her back, considering the way her legs are facing. Her legs are, like you said, a little messed up. You can't really tell where her knee is. Her fingers are also odd. As for her face, it's alright except it's a little long and out of proportion with her body.

Here are a few new models I really like:

2006 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S
2006 Porsche Carrera GT
2006 Ford GT
2007 Audi RS 4
2006 9-3 Sport Sedan
2006 Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT Limited Sedan
2006 Aston Martin V8 Vantage
I can't really think of any older models I'm especially fond of at the current moment. If I think of any, I'll just edit my post.
