I built the little Deathscythe model, and I gave my little bro the big Wing Zero Gundam Custom to build. He told me he was done it three hours, and my mom backed up that statement. I prefer the already-built action figures, though. I have Tallgeese III and Wing Zero Gundam Custom from the Archenemy line. They look COOL.

I've been told several times that it's the best Gundam movie ever made. At MAHQ, the careless editor spoiled the ending for me. He spoiled it in the review of ANOTHER Gundam show, how about that? Anyway... I had the movie on while talking to someone on AIM. What little I watched was great. I like how Amaro had this intense hatred for Char. I'll watch the movie carefully after fully watching the television series.

Anime Mobile Suit Gundam: Federation Vs. Zeon
Magnum Apex replied to Tigervx's topic in Otaku Central
The game is already a couple of months old, but anyway... I bought it, because I read several reviews that said it was one of the best Gundam games out there. Even if I was just slightly familiar with Mobile Suit Gundam, I bought it. I was very pleased with the story mode, so it should be a fun game to play for any Gundam fan. -
I liked Endless Waltz, but it was mostly because I am a big Gundam Wing fan, and I'll watch anything new they add to the series. I even got most, if not all of the new stories released in manga. I don't think the movie is anything special on its own, though. It is basically more of the same dilemmas of the AC timeline.

Manga Video released the Japanese TV series though, and it's pretty good for an anime based on a video game.

Anime AAKK!!! Hasn't ANYONE wanted to talk about VHD an' Bloodlust!?!?
Magnum Apex replied to Sarasan's topic in Otaku Central
I liked Vampire Hunter D, but Bloodlust was simply amazing. Everything about it was excellently executed. I think I've seen the movie about 20 times over the course of a month. I like it that much. As for your request, I'm pretty sure that the novels nor the manga have been translated, yet. -
With the exception of the closing song, Hellsing has a very cool, creepy soundtrack. Well, it should be creepy, since it's a vampire anime. Blood: The Last Vampire had a nice, creepy soundtrack as well.

I really liked the ending. Yes, it was kind of sad, but episodes that motivate your heart are the good endings in anime. I'll be honest, though... I did cry like a little girl when Dragon Ball GT ended. In Cowboy Bebop, I was just like, "Wow... no way, man!!" Hehehe, I'm so glad none of you know me. Edit: no images? :(

Mine's a no-brainer: X-Men ---> Cyclops ---> Cyke I would have kept changing usernames for new places I go to online, but people have told me I look like Cyclops (o_O), so yeah... that's the handle I sue almost everywhere.

Has anybody watched this anime? If you've lived your whole life in the United States, or have little contact with anime outside America, you probably don't know a thing about it. You soon will though, now that ADV has bought the rights to the television series. For those out of the loop, Saint Seiya is the story of five martial art fighters called "saints" that fight to protect Athena, daughter of Zeus. The anime starts with ten kids who are bound to train in different parts of the world to win a specific bronze cross (an armor), and therefore become saints. The kids will train until adulthood and become bronze saints, when they will fight in a tournament to win the golden cross from Sagittarius. As you may have noticed, the series does rely on some elements from Greek mythology, which I particularly like. Well, that would just be the first part of a very long-running series. It is basically a fighter anime, but with a better story than say... Dragon Ball Z. I watched the Mexican version when I was a kid, in Venezuela, and I loved it. In Japan, the series has been revived with a new story, called Saint Seiya Hades. Seiya is the name of the main character, the one who's always the only one capable of defeating the villain in the end. Kinda like Heero, from Gundam Wing, but without the attitude. Anyway... has anyone seen this anime? Here's a pic from the series: Saint Seiya

I watched it a couple of years ago, and I thought it was much better than the first one. I don't know, but I think they use more crude humor this time. Maybe that's I liked it better.

My birthday is in 14 days. I just want money. Sometimes I get stuff that I don't need, or stuff that doesn't fit me. With money, the gift will be useful, since I can spend it on whatever I want, or save it for later use.

The first anime I watched was Voltron. Of course, it was edited in the United States, so I didn't know the difference. I moved to Venezuela when I as 3, and in my 14 years living there I've watched A LOT of anime. The first anime that I REALLY liked was Caballeros del Zodiaco (Saint Seiya), which was shown when I was in seventh grade. It wasn't until Dragon Ball Z, however, that I started exploring different anime. That's when I became an anime fan. Oh, and for the record, I got into the MEXICAN version of Dragon Ball Z, which rules... not the one from FUNimation, which sucks.
Originally posted by tubbyguts should i buy a 49 inches gunam stardust memory mosel kit or Dead or Alive 3 for xbox?
Dude, you should buy what you like best. People's opinions and perceptions differ greatly, so any choice we'd give you would only be out of out OWN preferences, not yours. I suggest you really think about which one you'd like best, and if you really can't decide, then flip a coin. :D
Originally posted by Queen Asuka *Falls over Anime Style* Heh, knew it was too good to be true that guys didn't have the perv tendency. ;) I'm just joking. It is weird that she didn't give in. But then again, her Mirror self sure didn't have any hesitations when it came to removing her clothes! The music was funny! It sounded like something you'd hear in a farmer cartoon, I swear! My favorite part for some ODD reason was the Chess Match. That was so cool! LOL, and the King and Queen were so cutesy!
My favorite part was the chess match. Not because the pieces were women getting naked (seriously), but because I found it to be the only semi-interesting factor in the movie. No matter who'd win, Miyuki-chan would end up taking her clothes off.
Originally posted by Mitth'raw'nuruodo The thing that I meant was sad was when Keitaro saw Naru with Seta. Not like ALL sad. Just that part was sad. Though I may be blowing this out of proportion. =D Sad for me, that it was.
I agree. It was heart crushing, but that's how Love Hina hooks you. You'll want to know how will Keitaro and Naru be together after that. What I didn't like from the movie was that there was no comedy. Some of the Love Hina episodes were hilarious, but the movie's focus was romanticism.
Originally posted by Queen Asuka And the ironic thing here is that the girls are the ones who liked it and the guys are the ones who thought it was stupid when it was totally girl on girl! Heh, anyway, I don't mean to sound perverted or anything. The artwork was fantastic because it was CLAMP. And it may have been short and seemed a bit pointless, but that's what made it so fun. Miyuki was just thrown from one scene to another and that crazy music in the background for some reason reminded me of a farmer!
Maybe we didn't like it because Miyuki-chan never gave in. But anyway... The music got stuck in my mind, and THAT isn't a good thing. It was played through the WHOLE 30 minutes!

I really liked Z.O.E. Despite being short and having not-so-good storytelling, the gameplay is fast, easy and enjoyable. I believe that what Kojima wanted to make out of Zone of the Enders didn't come out as planned, which is why I'm hoping that Zone of the Enders: 2nd Runner becomes the true excellent game it was originally meant to be. I saw the trailer on the GamePro DVD, and it looks great!

I prefer my copy for the Playstation 2. Playing fighting games on the GameCube is torture. The controller is simply not suited for those type of games.

It was $9.99 at Best Buy, so I decided to add it to my collection. The first impression I got was that the episodes were TOO weird. They really have no plot. The story is basically Miyuki-chan trying to evade fairy-tale derived lesbians, and about the process starting all over again. I didn't like it much, but its strangeness kept me from turning off my DVD player.

I do believe that Excel Saga is one of the funniest anime out there. Well, it should be, since it's its only focus. However, I jut found a few episodes funny, and others I just forced a laugh. Golden Boy... now THAT is comedy.
