Hahaha, wow. This is ooollldddd!, anyone around that still remembers this?? I found it when I was going through google to see how many results that came back for "Jamvis" were mine. Gah that was a hilarious time. My typing and manners were horrid back then though lol. Wonder if anyone would like to try a little Kirby battle again? It's been 4 years so I'm more than likely rusty lol, but hey, why not? Or is it against the rules now? O.o;

Oh man, FMA is SO addictive man x.x I literally live just for saturdays now. problem is it's how long? 45 eppies? or is it 50 something? I can't remember. But if they're only airing one eppy per week, it'll take a WHOLE year. even though they show the same eppy four times in a week, it's like... if you still manage to miss that one episode, you're SCREWED for the rest of the year lol! but anyone else here wanna get on the [AS] forums and try to talk them into making it a nightly thing? oh yeah and rock on, they brought Trigun back! ---Jamvis

Fullmetal Alchemist is indeed one of my favorite animes. Sure all those other anime's are great and provide alot of fantasy, FMA seems to be more well founded. It seems that things in this particular series seem to actually be possible. Alchemy just seems like a speeded up process of natural science through it's laws of equivilant exchange and other things. I'm glad someone brought attention to this anime, but anyway, I wish it were possible to figure out a way to use alchemy in everyday life. I probably would be a good alchemist except for ONE little thing... I'm a horrible artist lol, I would try to draw a transmutation circle and it'd be all misshapen and i'd lose a hand trying to transmutate x.x.. Anyway, of all the animes I've seen, DBZ/GT, wolf's reign, Fatal Fury, Tenchi [man i miss that one] Ranma 1/2, whatever else I've seen more, but i'm slightly pressed for time, FMA is the best one... the only other probable anime I've ever seen is Ghost in the Shell which comes on after FMA on Adult Swim. --Jamvis [heh, it's been a while, hasn't it?]

Good news: DDR Extreme came out in america september 21st! the bad news: Like alot of good Japanese culture games, they've horribly and i mean HORRIBLY americanized it. they've removed a number of the japenese pop songs and others they've made it so that you have to unlock them [complete 200 songs and you'll get all of them v.v] the songlist you start with is: .59 dj TAKA A Stupid Barber Sho-T Bad Routine D.J. Most of the songs are tastefully stepped, but for cripes sake, WHY do they add in american stuff to a PERFECTLY good japanese dancing game? I have a horrible feeling that in the next mix to come to america we can expect: Toxic Britney Spears Seniorita Justin Timberlake and maybe just for the hell of it, a remix of Milkshake. What the hell is Konami THINKING?!?! --Edit I forgot to mention the lame minigames ^-^ Mario Party on your FEET! AWESOME! *cough, not, cough* buuut the awesome things are the nonstop mode and the even more impossible endless mode! I'm not sure, but i think endless mode becomes unlocked after you get all 65 songs and you get to play all of them with a break every 5 songs... not sure how long that break is but it's got to be wonderful to play over 100 minutes worth of music back to back ^-^. okay, enough of my ranting.. i'm going to go play DDRMAX now. :D Added spoiler tags for the unlockables. - Desbreko
Hahahahah show me a work place that you can dress however you want and not tuck in your shirt please. I mean a real work place too, not some hippy new age one. High school really does prepare you for real life. The complete lack of common sense amongst bosses. The lazy people getting ahead because they are friends with the boss. It's all the same.
That's not what I was thinking of. Hell, I'll fuggin wear a uniform for a job, at least I'm getting PAID for that. A dress code in a High School... well first of all I'd think that you should be mature enough by then to be able to chose decent attire that still expresses yourself. I'm a realy relaxed person so I wear loose jeans and a hawaiian shirt to school every day :D it irritates some of my friends, but I can express myself however I want. Hell, I have a half Irish friend that rituallistically wears his kilt to school every 2 weeks or so. o.o;
-
I too think it's one of the most idiotic things ever done. They say that HS is to prepare you for real life, yet they don't treat you like it's real life. In real life you can wear whatever kinda **** you want to wear and whatnot so let it be. that is unless it's like half nude stuff you see at the beach, then that CAN be a bit distracting and such, but as far as sensorship, it's stupid. and WHAT THE HELL is with tucking in your shirt? I'll tuck in my shirt when yu can show me a person that has ben somehow horribly mangled as a result of not having their shirt tucked in. ~Jammy

I know they aren't exactly on the same level, but in the battle of the bands, who would win? I love them too much equally and I just bought Start Something by LostProphets, hoping to get Ocean Avenue by Yellowcard sometime soon, but I really like their music. So... Vote, then tell me why.

Hehe. Well, I've got quite an intresting reputation for my poetry, especially with my dark stuff. I thought I'd post something here to find out what you guys think and I want anyone else out there with something dark to share to put it on here. So, here goes my peice. It's all red. I hide my wrists, my face in shame. Because I know I have no one else to blame. These scars, they didn't get here by chance. They came by the work of my blade, my dangerous dance. I cut them, and I was happy when they bled. I was delighted to see that color red. My sleeves became drenched in a crimson tone, Blood dripped from my elbows to the stone. The floor was dyed with the color of flames in the shape of a J, seemingly for James. I left my deep red stain on that rock in disdain. I knew that I'd never have to return there again. But now, that feeling is gone, yet so is the pain. The scar and knowledge of my sinful act are all that remain. And now I'm often defensive and I raise my fists When people ask me why there is red on my wrists. not my best, but i felt it was good and short enough to get you intrested. if you want more, go to the link in my siggy :D

Hi, I know it's been a while since I've posted. I have an assignment in World Geography that I need to find a penpal in North or South America that wasn't in the U.S... If you didn't know, those PenPal / ePal Websites are confusing and sometimes even cost money to use. I figured that the simplest thing to do was to turn to the online community that i have been a part of for about 3 years for help. If you would like to be my pen pal, would you please send me a message? If there is anything I can do in return, I would be glad to do. [Remeber: This is just a school assignment so I dont really need too much personal information, just name, age, interests, locations and stuff like that, If we can talk outside of the assignment, save postage and talk here :) Thanks!]

As would I.... *incites riot* now... you WILL continue or... *puts torch closer to you menacingly* you will be tortured by fire... ~ Love teh fire..... PYROMANIA!
-
Dude! Those are friggin awesome! i love that!
-
Thought I'd make a thread for all people who love fire and the darkness. Have a flamey poem or dark poem? Post it here, feedback, of course, is welcome... unless I have the sudden urge to burn it... [points to strange avatar] This is one I just wrote: Pyromaniac Seething rage and burning fire. Twisted gaze and raging glance. With your eyes, the flame admire. Flickering flame of hells dance. Flaming vision, glaring rage Burning anger deep within Keep it in your soulless cage. End the world as it spins. Hit the gas, higher flame! As the world completes its turn Scorch the Earth and youre to blame! Watch the world as it burns... Red hot flame, turn and twirl Yeilding not to harshest rain Flames now engulf the world Now whos crazy, twisted and insane?

If you could erase one human emotion..what would it be and why?
Jamvis replied to Bishie's topic in General Discussion
Hmph, this is silly but I think it would be love. Love is the most misconveyed emotion of them all. You can appear to love someone when you actually resent them. I mean passionate love, not relative love. Its all fake and misconstrued. -
Tip: Adult reasoning is pointless and foul, I can carry an entire aresenal of weapons in my pocket if I wanted to, but I dont so they should just let what happens happen. Someone stabbed someone else at a highschool last year. I now attend that High School. We must pay for his mistakes by wearing name tags and if we dont, we get a day of ISS. However, we curse out a teacher to the brink of tears and we get a simple repremandation and sent out of the office. Nothing else. Tell me, is THAT justice? I think not. ~ James.... Against the authority since birth.

Whats more important: Booksmarts or Commonsense
Jamvis replied to pbfrontmanvdp's topic in General Discussion
Both are equally inportant. You could be dumb as a rock but you would know not to touch a stove. You could also be knowledgable and not know when you have aggrivated a situation that you could have easily avoided. Have both. Without them we would be lost as the blind leading the blind :). -
The title of this story is Urban Legend. It's about a Guy named Jim who becomes a legend known for fighting with a make-shift staff, here's the first two chapters, you can add in chapters at will. ______________________________________________________________________ Chapter One ---------------------------------------------------------------------- As long as humans have roamed the earth, there have been legends of heroes. People, who are set apart from the others, people sent to protect the weak and downtrodden. While most of these tales are purely fictional, there are some of which are true. Legends walk the earth like you and I. One of these living legends is Jim Walker. He may be known as the protector in the shadows but he wasn?t always like that. He was your average person trying to survive like the rest of us. One day as he was walking home from a convience store, he took his usual short cut through the alleyway. He stumbled upon a group of people attempting to mug a person, but this person could put up a good fight. However, he wasn?t strong enough to take out the thugs. Jim thought to himself, ?I have to help this guy? but how?? No sooner had the thought popped into his head, did he see a raggedy old mop. This mop had a solid oak handle, so Jim knew he wouldn?t break it easily. Jim went to the mop and removed its head, leaving only the handle to be used as a staff. With staff in hand, Jim quickly swats two of the thugs across the head. The two fell unconscious, but this drew the attention of the other two thugs to Jim. The two thugs launched themselves at Jim like rabid animals. Acting on pure instinct, Jim swung and nailed both of them in mid air. The thugs fell, but scrambled to their feet and fled. As Jim turned to leave, the stranger called out, ?Hey, wait up!? He turns around to meet the stranger. The man says, ?Thanks for what you did back there, that was amazing! My name is?? Jim cuts him off and says, ?No names please, I just want to go home? its pretty late so I suggest you do the same.? With that he turns and starts off home. ______________________________________________________________________ Chapter Two ---------------------------------------------------------------------- He is greeted by his wife, Becky, upon his arrival. His wife looks at him in a puzzled manner and says, "Why do you look so roughed up?" He responds, "I got into a scuffle while attempting to save a man from being mugged." he continues, "Becky, you believe in destiny right?" Becky nods. "Well, would you beleive that i might be destined to be a hero? A protector of the shadows?" Becky is delighted by the idea and says, "Yep, im sure were all destined to do something and if this is what youre destined to do, I will help you with anything you need because I'm completely behind you." Jim hugs his wife and says, "I'm glad to know youre behind me Becky, but I dont know where to begin with this." Becky ponders the subject for a brief moment and then replies, we will need to train you and get better equipment." Jim gives his wife a farewell kiss and ventures out into the alleyway again, in search of equipment. There he finds bands of metal that he attaches to the tips of his staff. He ventures further and finds a half used roll of duct tape that he uses to rap around the center of the staff as drummers do with their drum sticks. Satisfied with his findings, he begins the return home. As he walks he hears shouts the sounds of fleeing people growing louder as they come toward him. He turns around to see who is fleeing, he realizes its a monk being pursued by a few of hood rats. Jim stands his ground and lets the monk pass, but he lashes out at the first thing he sees and nails a hood rat. The hood rat flips over from the force of the blow and lands on his head. Jim gives him a solid whack in the temple to make sure he's out of comission. The next two come in with fists flying. Jim shoves his staff straight forward, nailing the guy in the gut. The third hood rat gets past and punches Jim in the face. In a falling motion, Jim swings and in his last desperate attack, he hits him in the side. The monk who saw all of this runs up and knocks the final thug into submission. The second thug who was hit in the gut, finally collapses from loss of oxygen. Jim stands with his staff and dusts himself off. He turns to the monk and says, "Thanks, im new at this hero thing" Jim chuckles as the monk replies, "I can see that, I can also see that you need training with your staff, I would gladly like to help you learn how to use it effectively as thanks for your help." Jim replies, "Sure, I'll take all the help I can get, how about we go to my house and rest up and you train me tomorrow?" The monk nods and says, "Sounds good to me. My name is Nicholas but, call me Nick. Whats yours?" "Oh how rude of me, my name is James but, call me Jim." With that the two continued the walk back to Jim's house. Well? Like it so far? Lemme here your feedback and add on, if it sounds good, Ill add it to the story!

Or truthfully, a mix of being kind of shy and not really caring. I hate it when my friends try to get me dates for these things. My favourite reply is "What! And miss a perfectly good night of videogaming!?!"
Same here. I feel like such a loser for not asking this one girl out to our 8th grade dance. Oh well, one more day of mental anguish shouldn't kill me.... yet.... Heh, I suck at dancing.

By relating to 9/11 i meant someone who DINT KNOW you. And not in suicide.... i have no way of putting this, someone close this thread please....

I found it 2 yrs ago because one of my friends had a picture from TheOtaku.com and I went there and then when it went down to update it or switch servers, I decided to come here. weired huh?

Appearently ive been misunderstood. I was just wondering if anyone would cry like the people cried for those lost at 9-11. Like the fact I have no true friends... I have (now) no reason to take my life and i won't but I, like many others I see, am tired of living this life and the other people around me.... I want to destroy them, or move... Oh and to finish up, I HATE p:flaming: pular kids. They are all jerks. Thus i dont want to be popular, only recognized... I have no identity, I am pitiful, I would explain that last comment but I dont feel like it, but if you MUST know ill post it later.
