1. Shinobi sat there for a minute, watching the battle. He looekd At linda out of thecorner of his eye, watching her. He shook his head, knowing he really needed to stop. He shot up into the air and landed at his hammock. He sat down it it, but it fliped. He fell about a foot before catching himself. He then landed on ti again, and stayed in it. He looked over some trees, and saw Hope in a clearing. He smiled, and layed down, one foot hanging off of it, dangling in the air 100 feet.
2. Shinobi- *muttering* i still don't like yo ass... Shinobi sat down on the opposite side of the clearing, and added some wood to the fire. He then grabbed a half-burnt peice, and looked at it, then Xion, then Seion, then back at it. He thought of beaming Xion with it, but decided not to. He tossed it up in the air, then caught it on the firy side, and held it, gritting his teeth. He then dropped it back on the pile, and looked at his hand. He sighed, and sat back down, ignoring the small amount of pain.
3. Shinobi turned the lights onto High beam, and the dome was saw faintly in the distace, a little to the left. He turned to it, and then got ready to slow down. Suddenly a figure appeared behind him, and he disapeared and appeared behind the figure, arm around his neck to choke him. He then saw who he was , and stoped. Shinobi- Why are you here Xion? Xion- I was looking for Seion Shinobi- Next sub. Bye. Shinobi sat down again at the controls after Xion teleported. Shinobi- I don't liek that dude..this ain't gona work.....

Shinobi- nope, Johiko *over the mike* another three miles Everyone else: UGH Shinobi- Just hold on tight, don't get yo ass in an upwar...damn. Shinobi sighed, and turned holes off. He put it back into his cd case, even thoguth it's dangerous having them down there. The cold could totally fuck up the discs, but he didn't care. Cristina could buy him a new set, if it did.... 8.
(CBS/AP) The hot, dry winds that have fueled California's massive wildfires eased Tuesday, but the battle against the flames continued with lives and million-dollar homes on the line. At least 17 deaths were blamed on the fires, 15 in Southern California and two in Mexico, as separate blazes were scattered along an arc from the suburbs northwest of Los Angeles to Ensenada, about 60 miles south of the border. The fires have burned more than 500,000 acres ? or about 780 square miles, roughly three-quarters the total area of Rhode Island. "You can dream up horror movies, and they wouldn't be this bad," said Gene Zimmerman, supervisor of the San Bernardino National Forest. President Bush addressed the fires in a Rose Garden press conference Tuesday. "We are monitoring the fires in California," Mr. Bush said. "I express my deepest concern and sympathy for those whose lives have been hurt badly by these fires." One of the biggest fire fights on Tuesday was unfolding in the Santa Susana Mountains that separate Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley, where 1.3 million people live, from Simi Valley in neighboring Ventura County. The Simi Valley fire, which has destroyed 13 homes since it began Saturday, was burning dangerously close to a gated community of million-dollar mansions in Los Angeles' Chatsworth section. It was only 5 percent contained. In San Bernardino County, firefighters wrestled with two large fires that had merged into one. The Old Fire and the Grand Prix Fire have destroyed more than 520 homes, and were threatening the mountain resort town of Lake Arrowhead. "It is one of our major concerns at the moment," U.S. Forest Service spokeswoman Carol Beckley said late Monday. Conditions were equally grim in San Diego County, where ash from three large fires fell on the beaches like snow and drivers had turn on their headlights during the day. San Diego Fire Chief Jeff Bowman was worried that the fires would merge into one gigantic blaze, pushing already strained resources to the breaking point. The biggest fire in the state ? the Cedar fire in San Diego County, which has burned 206,000 acres ? was not contained at all. "It would be disingenuous to say we have control of these fires. Right now we are throwing everything we can at them," Dallas Jones, director of the state Office of Emergency Services, said of the San Diego blazes. In Ventura County, a fire near the community of Piru was threatening approximately 300 homes Tuesday, authorities said. It was 10 percent contained. Firefighters appeared to be getting one advantage, with a decrease in the Santa Ana wind. The hot, dry wind that blows from the desert down to the sea this time of year had gusted to as much as 70 mph in recent days. The wind let up on Monday and Tuesday and wasn't expected to return at least until Wednesday. But officials were still concerned about "crowning," in which flames leap from one treetop to another, leaving firefighters on the ground all but powerless to stop them. "If that occurs we don't have the capability to put those fires out," Beckley said. "It will be a firestorm." More than 10,000 firefighters were battling the flames, which by Tuesday had already cost the state more than $24 million. "This will be the most expensive fire in California history, both in loss of property and the cost of fighting it," Jones said. More resources were on the way from Arizona and Nevada, which were answering pleas for help from Gov. Gray Davis. On Monday, Mr. Bush granted Davis' request to declare the region a disaster area, opening the door to grants, loans and other aid to residents and businesses in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, San Diego and Ventura counties. Michael Brown, director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, tells the CBS News Early Show that his agency has been offering state and local agencies fire management assistance grants that pay up to 75 percent of the costs of fighting fires. FEMA planned Tuesday to unveil a toll-free number for people to register for aid. The 15 people killed were the most since the devastating Oakland Hills fire that killed 25 people and destroyed more than 3,000 homes in October 1991. Officials say most the dead ignored orders to evacuate, CBS News Correspondent Jennifer Miller. "When you are asked to leave, do it immediately," San Diego County Sheriff Bill Kolender said. "Do not wait." Scores of people were also injured. Several children have had asthma attacks because of poor air quality, reports CBS News Correspondent Hattie Kauffman. The fires has also knocked out power to 70,000 people, closed highways, cancelled school and disrupted air travel. ©MMIII, CBS Broadcasting Inc. All Rights Reserved.

SAN DIEGO - Crews battling some of the most destructive and deadly wildfires in California history are so exhausted they are being pulled off fire lines, even if it means more homes will be destroyed, a Forest Service fire chief said Tuesday as a pair of blazes threatened to merge. At least 17 deaths were blamed on the fires, 15 in Southern California and two in Mexico, as separate blazes were scattered along an arc from the suburbs northwest of Los Angeles to Ensenada, Mexico, about 60 miles south of the border. At least 1,552 homes had been destroyed in California. Firefighters beat back flames that had threatened hundreds of homes in northwest Los Angeles, but conditions were more critical to the south in San Diego County, where the Cedar and Paradise fires were separated by only two miles and threatening to join. "There's blocks of homes that are going to burn to the ground this afternoon, in my opinion," said Rich Hawkins, a Forest Service fire chief. "My objective is to make sure there's nobody in them." Hawkins said some firefighters were being taken off the lines Tuesday morning. "They're so fatigued that despite the fact the fire perimeter might become much larger, we're not willing to let the firefighters continue any further," Hawkins said of firefighters fighting the Cedar and Paradise fires. "They are too fatigued from three days of battle." Hawkins said that lunches intended for firefighters on Monday weren't delivered until Tuesday morning and there was a shortage of diesel fuel in some cases. "It's like war. This whole fire has been a war so far," Hawkins said. The mountain community of Julian in San Diego County was being evacuated. More than 521,929 acres of brush, forest and homes _ or about 815 square miles, roughly three-quarters the total area of Rhode Island _ had burned in California. Crews battling the Simi Valley fire in the Santa Susana Mountains, which separate the northwest corner of Los Angeles from Simi Valley in neighboring Ventura County, had feared they could lose hundreds of homes in the Chatsworth section. "They saved every one of them," said Bill Peters, a spokesman for the California Department of Forestry. Firefighters went driveway to driveway through the night in the Chatsworth area, which extends up the Santa Susana slopes from the city's San Fernando Valley, and turned back the flames before dawn, Peters said. The fire teams were aided by reinforcements who arrived Monday and by calmer weather that included increased humidity, lower temperatures and a break from the Santa Ana wind that had gusted up to 70 mph earlier in the week. The hot, dry Santa Ana blows from the high desert down to the sea at this time of year. More than 10,000 firefighters were battling the flames, which by Tuesday had already cost the state more than $24 million. More resources were on the way from Arizona and Nevada, which each volunteered the use of 50 fire trucks, and Nevada also was sending three helicopters. Crews east of Los Angeles lost 20 buildings during the night in the Strawberry Peak section of the San Bernardino National Forest. They couldn't immediately say if the structures, near Lake Arrowhead, were homes or outbuildings. The Strawberry Peak area was hit by a combination of two fires that had merged into one during the weekend. One, the Old Fire, had destroyed at least 450 homes and been blamed for two deaths. Lake Arrowhead, at an elevation of 5,100 feet, was particularly vulnerable because a beetle infestation has devastated trees in the area. In Mexico, meanwhile, firefighters had brought under control all but two of the 30 wildfires that started during the weekend, and hundreds of people evacuated near Ensenada had been allowed to return home, an emergency official said Tuesday. Two people died Sunday when they were trapped in their burning home, one of about 15 Ensenada houses destroyed by the flames. Two of the fires in Mexico had spread across the border from California and one, near Tecate, was still burning Tuesday, emergency official Raymundo Noriega said. Some of the California fires were believed started by arsonists. Investigators sought two men who were seen throwing flaming objects from a van in the area of the Old Fire. On Monday, President Bush declared the region a disaster area, opening the door for aid to residents and businesses in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, San Diego and Ventura counties. Scores of people have been injured by this week's fires. Two people at the University of California, San Diego, Medical Center were in serious to critical condition with burns over more than 55 percent of their bodies, spokeswoman Eileen Callahan said. The fires also knocked out power to tens of thousands of people, closed highways and disrupted air travel.
I got it from Comcast new center, off of www.comcast.net/comcast.html
9. Well, the ps 1 had a five year manufacturer's warrenty, even if the ps2 didn't. I don't know, but i'll check. Oh, and just so you know the PS1 is over 8 years old and they still make games for that. Just so you know. Anyway, i don't care what anyone says, i will probably get the PSX and i know i'll get the PS3 BABY!!!
10. Who has read about this or heard about it in the news? I heard about it tongith, and it's just......just...sad.:bawl: Has anyone heard any stories about it, or an ideas about what caused it or anything? I didn't hear that much, just that it was in California. EDIT:
SAN DIEGO - The hot Santa Ana wind driving wildfires across parts of Southern California eased Monday but officials warned that there was still a threat from the flames that had devoured entire neighborhoods and killed at least 13 people. Gov. Gray Davis announced he was activating the National Guard, calling on more resources from neighboring states and predicted the cost of the fires would be in the billions. More than 900 homes had been destroyed and an estimated 30,000 others were still in danger, officials said. The blazes scattered from the Mexican border to the suburbs of Los Angeles had triggered a harrowing flight to safety for thousands of residents, along with hospital patients and prison inmates. "I was grabbing wet towels. Fire was at our feet. It was blazing over our heads and burning everywhere," said Lisza Pontes, 43, recounting her Sunday morning escape from a fire in San Diego County. The death toll was the state's worst since the 1991 fire in the Oakland hills of Alameda County that killed 25 and destroyed more than 3,200 homes and apartments. Many of those who died had waited until the last minute to flee, Sheriff Bill Kolender said Monday. "When you are asked to leave, do it immediately. Do not wait," he said at a news conference. Airline travel was disrupted, major highways were blocked and some schools were closed. Monday night's pro football game between the Chargers and Dolphins was shifted from San Diego to Arizona. At least one of the fires was believed to be a result of arson. "That's an evil move. What kind of fun is that, to put so many lives in danger," said Steven Herrera, 41, of Pinecrest. Authorities said the fierce Santa Ana wind appeared to be easing. The National Weather Service canceled wind advisories in Los Angeles and Ventura counties, and Los Angeles Fire Chief William Bamattre said fire crews were taking advantage of the change to go on the attack. However, gusts of up to 45 mph still were possible in canyons. San Diego City Fire Chief Jeff Bowman said he was concerned that three fires that incinerated 460 homes and 150,000 acres in the surrounding county would merge into a super fire. The Santa Ana wind season usually stretches from September through February, with October often the strongest. The rainy season could start any time but heavier rainfall is not likely until January. The blazes had charred more than 400,000 acres, or 625 square miles _ more than half the size of the state of Rhode Island _ of dense, dry brush and trees. More than 7,000 firefighters battled the spreading flames. To the south, two deaths were blamed on forest fires near Mexico's port city of Ensenada, about 50 miles south of Tijuana, authorities said Monday. Officials said 10 houses were destroyed and 290 people were evacuated. In San Bernardino County, a blaze called the Old Fire, which had destroyed more than 400 homes, torched 25 more when it jumped a road and moved into the heavily forested town of Crestline, fire information officer Candace Vialpando of the U.S. Forest Service said Monday. Shortly before 6 a.m. Monday, an 80,000-acre blaze in suburban Simi Valley, 35 miles northwest of Los Angeles, jumped a highway and came within yards of several homes before firefighters began to get the upper hand. Schools in the city of 110,000 people were closed Monday because of the fire, which already had destroyed six homes. Nine people had been killed by the 100,000-acre Cedar Fire in San Diego County. About 260 homes, ranging from modest to expensive, were destroyed. The San Diego County victims included two people who died inside their car as they apparently tried to escape the flames. That fire was started Saturday near the mountain town of Julian when a lost hunter set a signal fire, authorities said. The hunter may face charges. Another fire near San Diego killed two people, authorities said. And two men collapsed and died in San Bernardino County, one while evacuating and the other while watching his home burn, the county coroner said. Around the congested suburbs of San Bernardino, a city of about 200,000 some 50 miles east of Los Angeles, one flank of a nearly 80,000-acre fire burned through four towns while the other flank destroyed more than 450 homes. Two fires _ the Old Fire and the Grand Prix _ had merged on Sunday, creating a flame front 35 to 40 miles long. Authorities sought two men for investigation of arson and possibly murder in connection with the San Bernardino fires. Three looters were arrested, police said. Fire forced the evacuation of a Federal Aviation Administration control center in San Diego, disrupting air travel across the nation. Some airlines canceled flights into the region. The National Football League moved Monday night's football game between the Chargers and Miami Dolphins from Qualcomm Stadium, which is being used as an evacuation center, to Tempe, Ariz. ___ Associated Press writer Ryan Pearson contributed to this story from San Bernardino County. 11. 3 months? Uhm, it's like a 5 year warranty, where do you get your information? Anyways, like i did, i baught it for the dvd capabilties, sure, but i also got it for the games. Not a single person ever gets something for one thing, they're stupid. But it's that stuf that adds in to the value, like, you can buy a ps2 for 179 and it's 240 value is from the dvd player/cdplayer/cd-rplayer/cd-rw player.
12. What you would need to make it work is 3 or 4 mods, so one could be in it at all times. If you could do that, then it would work, probably. But, i wouldn't pick just anybody, pick someone who has benn on here for a while, maybe has been a mod before, or something. Have no cussing rules and stuff liek that, but make them hold it to the same extent as on here. And, if needed, ban a few IP addresses.
13. Shinobi- *sigh* the sub is filled with Seion, Timeka and a new dude. A fight's gonna happen. I can feel it. Shinobi looked through 3 inch glass at Jason. He watched a battle persue, but quickly got bored. Shinobi- Is there a DVD player in here? Hope- You tell me. Shinobi- *sigh* just being nice. Shinobi pressed a button and a tray opened up. A 20 inch screen turned on, and Shinobi put in Holes, and turned it on. He sat back, next to Hope.
14. What do you mean, the cd player in the PS1? That worked perfectly, gave you the images sowing bass levels, etc, and more. The DVD player? What's wrong with it? You may say that they need to take all that stuff out, but that stuff alone will double their sales. Triple. becasue you don't nedd to fill a room to get everything. IT'S IN ONE BOX.
15. what i think it is, is that certain ip addresses are banned, and with dial-up, it changes IPs alot. Hence, you might pull the one that was banned, if it's nto in use any more. Just my 2 cents. ~`_Nate_`~
16. OOC: Con...:twitch:Controling? I'm trying to find the line here, having him catch a pokemon is controlling, but playing as someone else's character isn't? That's like saying picking leaves from a tree is stealing?*rant mode off* IC: Shinobi- Well, the small one is automated... with controls I know can be handled by a 2 year old...Aurora can handle them....And since I?m the only one who knows the complete coordinates, I guess I?ll ride the big one. Shinobi blinked and lies down and waits. ~45 Minutes later~ The sub appears, coming down the stream on the other side of the lake. Shinobi- Here we go :excited:
17. But, if cuss words are so bad, what makes them bad? Their a WORD. If you go by that, word is bad. He is bad. Just cause ***** and **** and **** are words doesn't make them bad workds, do they? Who cares if a teacher cusses. They have lives. The janitors do not come into the class and turn them off after school. And besides, what peoson hasn't cussed, wather by accident or not knownig it was a cuss word? The first person who says he hasn't is lieing, and the second, and third, and all of them. IT'S A WORD
18. If it does that, get on aol, then shrink it down. Click on Internet explorer, and that should load up, runnig off of AOL's connection. Ineternet Explorer Never does that. Just thought i'd help ~`_Nate_`~
19. Shinobi- *under his breath*Phsycially aggressive, mentally a push-over *to Seion* Seion you is, too, so shut the hell up. Seion- Hey you- Shinobi- What ever. Shinobi got up and walked over the where Wolf was standing. Shinobi- Why don't you catch him? Wolf- I can't figure out what pokemon to use. Shinobi- Pick one. Houndoom, he should be good. Wolf- How do you figure? Shinobi- I don't know. Just battle him, ok? Wolf- Ok. Go Houndoom! Shinobi- Now i'm leaving you to hopefully what you do best. Shinobi started walking around the lake, looking. He also thoguht to himself. Shinobi- Maybe Hope is right......*mental sigh*I'll just hope that she is...and that we make it. Shinobi came around the lake, which was bigger than it looked. When he got back, Wolf had captured Rayquaza. Shinobi- Good now let's GO..
20. Shinobi smiled. Whenever he needed her she was there. He hugged her. Shinobi- Thanks. I just needed to get that off of my chest....and i'll try what you said. Shinobi layed back, loking into nothing, when a pokemon in a bubble flew overhead. Jason was back. Shinobi said nothing and his pokemon landed and he got off, then returned it. Jason- got him. Shinobi- Ok, Wolf, you done? Wolf- Almost.
21. Hope- Don't worry about it. We will be fine. Shinobi- Don't act like you ain?t worried. I can feel it, everybody is. I can just feel it. Hope- So? Maybe we will make it. You can't look at the bad stuff all the time. Shinobi- I know, but.....*sighs* Hope- What? Shinobi- In Goldenrod this was life. If it can fail, it does. Why you think there?s so much divorce and killings? It's just, you come to expect it. It never wears off. No matter what. And that's why I?m worried about...myself. Hope- Huh? Shinobi Every time I?ve ever liked a girl, something happens. They get hurt, or they hate me, or something. Hope- But if they love you and you love them then you don?t' have to worry about it. Hope lay down beside Shinobi. Shinobi- I know..but..yYou just don?t? understand...no one does...why doesn?t anyone understand?? Hope- Because you?re special. You've been through special things no one else has. Shinobi- But still....special is...different. Why do you think I am like I am? Hope- Because of your past. Shinobi- Because I didn't want to be different in Goldenrod. To be around so many black people, and only 1 or 2 white people, everyone hates you. You?re different to them, and they pull away. I couldn't go into high school listening to the same stuff my parents did, I?d be killed the first time I talked about it. Nobody just....nobody understands...*sigh* why can't anyone understand.
22. Shinobi sat down and waited. There was a thud and Shinobi turned around, surprised they were back so quick. But it was only Hope and Lugia. Hope climbed off and Lugia stood there, deciding whether He should stay or go help find Rayquaza. Shinobi- Why are you back. Hope- I just wanted to be with you. Hope sat down beside him, and kissed him back. Seion- Oh Brother. Seion started walking away from them, looking like he was going around the lake. Shinobi- Where you going? Seion- Just walkin. Let me know when they come back... Shinobi- Ok. Shinobi sat back and lay down on the dock, feet hanging off. He thought of nothing in particular, except Hope and the expedition, hoping and praying or about the millionth time that day they get it done in time. Or get out.
23. I love the movie, excpet for one scene, the {(spoiler) The scene where the bad guy takes the rat and puts it on the dude's stumach, then used the blow torche to make the rat start to dig through him..} That scene sickened me. Other than that, it was pretty good. It really need Vin Deasal in it, but Ludacris did good as a replacement. (it seems like Vin Deasal don't like sequals {spoilerHe dropped out of XXX 2, also} It could have been logner, but, it packs more punch. It had more stunts, the final jump was awesome. They were also smart by using them half-empty nitrus tanks, but if only Bryant had picked the right ones. Ludacris did good, but he could never replace Vin Deasal. Over all- 7.5/10 visual effects- 8.0/10 stunts- 7.0/10 cars- 9/10 girls 12/10 ~`_Nate_`~
24. My favorite would have to be..the Tutle from Dragon Ball z. He's funny, he has the lowest power level in existance, at o.oo1, and he's kinda retarded, too. Kinda like ed, edd and edy. Either the turtle or Yuske's blue birtd-liek thiny, he si jsut to cute to bare. I think he makes the show (asside from the violence, blood and fighting. Oh, and the deamons) ~`_Nate_`~
25.
Originally posted by Blanko Anime... change me? No... but i sure changed it! I made people want to watch it mroe than hang with me :) Ha! No actually... i learned some things from some shows. From inuyasha i learned i can do things i never had the guts to do before.. never knew i could do... stuff like that And from CowBoy Bebop... i learned out to be just as wierd as Ed...*grin*
So, i thought you are weird naturally...well i am. Anyway, yes, nime has changed me. I have learned that i can at least do semi-good at anything i try, be it save the world or do good on tests. I learned that parents think all cartoons are for kids and get mad when a 'cartoon' is rated r. Without Anime, i would never have joined Ob, would never made as many friends period, and never have met Flora (aka Blanko), and because of not meeting her i would have been dongi the stuff that a friend of mine does, that i at one point liked but now see is wrong. Aniem has changed my life? :nope: I changed my life. well,.....ok..:) yes, it did. ~`_Nate_`~ EDIT- Oh, and it made me the poorest kid on the block, too. I mean i was the last one on it to get a PS2 because of the money blown on Pokemon cards and DBZ Cards.
