Amongst the rubble laid a dark glowing orb, attatched to a long pillar staff with two twin serpents entwinded around the staff. The orb was black, where once their had been a purple tinge...then it simply vanished

Pulling himself together with all the energy he could possibly muster and pull to him from his surroundings, nexcii stood up and walked back to the other troops. im sorry but i had to do that so i could prepare my self further for the coming of the dark age. My light has almost extinguished, in 4 hours i will use the dark hole regardless if any one is left around. i in turn will then cease to exist. i will be around in the souls of the coming age. He took a tighter grip of his staff and walked off and sat in the shadows away from every body, it was no good now to meditate and use the energy from the darkness around him his fate had been sealed.

Nexcii struggled to his feet, and pulled his staff out of the ground from next to him. His eyes flashing different colours, first red, then black then they turned gold. He then suddenly disappeared and reaperated in between the approaching monsters and the light forces. Nexcii stuck his staff in to the ground and walked foward to meet the dark forces head on. Pushing the light forces out of the way so he could get to the commander. Nexcii bowed slightly. I can not let you pass this point, call back your troops or they will be destroyed. The commander of the forces whom was a large barral dragon ignored nexciis warning and then blasted him with his cannon, muttering the word Traitor and then commanded his troops foward. Nexcii rasied his hand and his staff came to him at high speed, gripping it, he yelled RAIGEKI and rasied his hand to the air and flew slightly. Thge dark clouds above sprung forth lightning bolts hitting the ground destroying quite a few of the troops and creating a feild of electricity which they dared not pass. For now the ground troops had been slowed but not stopped. Nexcii appeared on the floor infront of the city gates on his knees. His internal energy almost gone. It was nearing the time where he would have to use the dark hole.

hurry my friends, i dont know how long i can hold this off. be not in doubt, this is not going to be easy. as it is , my dark side powers are growing, even now, i can feel the darkness taking me over again.. And with that Nexcii dug his staff in to the ground and then turned his back on it, and walked away. His eyes now glowing a feirce red. Then with his own magick , he cast a sphere around himself to try and stop the dark energy flowing in to him. Once again he sat, cross legged, chanting but this time, it was for his very soul.

Nexcii's chanting got stronger and stronger, with a small increase in volume, then he floated a smaall way off the floor, and the dark energy surrounded him, and engulfed him, creating a sphere around him, then he straaightened out his legs and put his hands stright out to the sides and sent a charge of dark energy out in to the sphere. then in one hand his staff appeared, although it had now reverted to how it was an age ago. The staff was long and black with a point at the bottom, entwinded around the shaft were 2 snakes, criss crossing and at the top the snakes heads were looking at one another with their mouths open and fangs showing. Out stretching one hand, nexcii pulled the dark energy in to a smaller sphere compressing it in to a small globe, and placing it at the head of his staff between the 2 snake heads., Landing semi knealing, he looked at valkyron. its almost time, i have compressed it for now, but i pray you dont wait too long. You all need to be long gone before this is released.

From behind them, a murmering sounded. It was Nexcii. the spell had given him a few more hours to aid his friends, before the dark realm took him again. Although, his attitude towards every one had changed, he still had an awe of goodness flowing through him, it was slowly diminishing in him and he had one chance. He slwly moved to his feet, but shook, so put more weight on his staff. he shook his head trying to clear it briefly. He raised his hand up, and concentrated briefly, dark energy started to flow in to his hand, both healing himself enough to stand, but also he started chanting. it seemed that he had started using the dark hole. "but he cant use that spell" some one yelled from a little way away", Nexcii smirked, this was a gift from doma. he wanted me to destroy you, granting me the ability to do this once, and with my natural ability to use yami, this is going to be a lot more powerful then you can imagine" You have 1 hour to do what you have to do before this spell is ready. until then, i will see you later, and with that he sat down and dark energy started to flow in to a dome which was starting to consume the dark paladin, although he was still alive, the earth shook breifly and then the dome consumed him and 5 meters of land all around him.

The swords of revealing light finally wore off, and nexci was able to move again, as was doma. Nexci raised his staff and pointed it at doma, "now you are going to feel the wrath of me and my friends , remember doma, i was one of the few whom trained you and i know i can destroy you, well with a little help from my friends". at which the others burst in to the room, all brandishing their weapons. "I dont think so Nexci, do you not think i have learnt some new tricks whilst you have been gone, i bet youve forgotten what it feels like to have the dark energies running through out your body havent you, or at least your trying to forget what its like", Then doma started to glow black, and dark energies ran through out the room, filling it and throwing it in to darkness. Doma hovered laughing, "Can you feel it now traitor"

ooc, right i got some good/bad news depending on your perspective of me.! unfortunatly i have hit a rock in my life.and a fairly large one at that, and i am unable to continue with all of my ventures. i therefore regret to say that im leaving otakuboards. its been fun rpging with you all, despite my lack of posts, i hope i contributed positivly to it all. I would however like some suggestions on what to do with my character, since letting it fade away would be a waste, pm me if ya want, if not, dont and i will eventually think of some thing to do with him. The door infront of mared and silistra started to open a slight more faster as the swords effects started to wear off, both nexci and doma noticed almost immediietly, but they were still not totally free of the effects he was able to move his hand slightly

Nexci unnerved by the whole not being able to move feeling remembered why he had been alone between leaving the service of the dark one and joining with the "good guys" as he now thought of them although thinking about it, it was a wise move, now neither side could move. "you brought your little pals to aid you my old friend, ha, what is it, scared you couldnt have taken me on your own", still fuelled by the argument he was having about the distribution of the exodia peices, nexci wanted to just destroy doma, but since he left the service of the dark one he has begun to get weaker wih out rest and meditation, and of course there was the inhibiting effects of the swords magic but when that lifted, there would be nothing stopping them destroying doma.

"why do you bother with your pathetic chants nexci, your a waste of time, none of your spells can do me much damage" doma angrily exclaimed he raised his hand in to the air and took slight flight then blasted an energy ball towards nexci, to which he dodged, not opening fire but awaiting his new friends

Nexci nodded his head at the suggestion of splitting up and looking for doma, although he was very much for being alone and he let the others know this. It seemed as if he was filled with guilt or regret. He took a firm grip of his staff and walked off in to the temple more. He was walking along a large coridoor when in an anti chamber he saw doma, sitting on a throne of gold and jewels. the chamber was in candle light, which threw a strange glow over doma, who was holding his staff tight, infront of his throne was a small army of giant germs "Greetings dark lord" exclaimed nexci "Traitor" doma replied "how dare you leave the service of the dark lord..you were his paladin and now it seems you are his enemy" "i do what i do because im sick of causing pain, exodia can not be summond, it would end whats left of our world and i shall be no party to his resurection" Nexci then uttered a chant, hoping that the others would hear it and come down to his location, and aid him, although at the same time, he was hoping that they were closer.

(sorry i havent posted in a while..i have been up and down the UK for the last 2 weeks, to even think about my computer was a gift!) Just as all seemed hopeless, "DARK LIGHT" came a loud shout a dark ball of energy shot over their heads blasting the germs into smithereins oblitterating any trace of it. their floating in mid air with his staff out stretched was Nexci. He then let flow a stream of energy balls destroying each germ in turn. you have my apologies my comrades for failing to be there for you all the time, he pulled out a glowing crystal from under his cloak. this is a very powerful healing remedy for you, i recovered it from a temple quite a way from here whilst i fought a small group of the dark troops. he knealed down and gave the crystal to Faith, hoping that in the end she would be able to use it when he wasnt there again. Nexci smirked, it seems i always miss all the big battles, and arrive some what to destroy a few smaller ones. He stood back up,took a tight grip of his staff and walked a short distance watching the horizon and what was to come. he seemed to be alone however much company he was in...he liked it that way although the group strength was starting to amaze him some what

Nexci smirked again, and took the lead for a while, keeping himself to himself, spinning his staff around his hand every now and again when suddenly he stopped. Remain here for 3 minutes, no more no less, then if i do not return, carry on with out me, there is a fiend sourceror ahead, i beleive they are chanting an awakening spell of sorts. this i must deal with alone..and with that he walked foward to the shadows.

As he pondered on the slab, a dark shadow appeared around them all, , and out of the shadow appeared the dark paladin, Nexcii. (ooc i changed my characters name to some thing more me!). his staff at his side, he looked over the company and smirked. So your the guardians of the exodia peices, the next peice your after is far at hand, although is more heavily guarded. i shalt remain with you for a time and aid you in your quest

i think its all down to the past..i mean, yami yu gi has honour etc..where as i wouldnt exactly say that yu gi has that, rather that he knows whats right and wrong...yami bakura however..hes got world domination on the brain ..but bakura himself is pretty nice as a friend to yu gi etc unless of course i have missed an episode where bakura (with out influance from the spirit in the ring) has shown this not to be true...and as for malik..well, malik is just over powered by his millenium rod.

name : ShadowStorm card : black paladin Gender : male description : failing actually having the card description, a 6ft tall male in a long black cloak with a hood up covering his eyes with a long dark sceptor and black metal finger guards on Bio : a quiet but powerful paladin who never appears from his shadows until he is needed or wish's to, he works well within a team but also upholds honour, he will not see destruction on a large scheme and so will stop exodia if neccesary but other then that, he will watch the "petty" fights special ability : yami, raigeki

they are only hard to beat when you play by tribute rules..BUT they are also at the same time not..all you need is enough strong monsters to keeep the opponent at bay until the summoning is complete. i still dont find honour in the deck! ~Paladin 2 Darkblood~

sorry raikou, but exodia is 5 peices..collecting them together in your hand and then you win! please tell me where in the game that constitutes a tool....i can only see him as a main theme with other monsters there just to hold your opponent off long enough to assemble exodia. tool or not...exodia is a set peice, i cant see him as any thing else. ive said it once before....i wont enter any thing i know i can not win..i find it fruitless to expend resources and energy on a worthless clash...i think that those who stock the god cards, and or exodia in their deck are just powerhousing..and quite frankly i wouldnt touch them for a duel with a 20 ft barge pole in my opinion your weak to rely or use them...i find it a whole lot more enjoyable to duel for 10 minutes on one duel then to keep sticking cards in defence mode..or laying traps etc and waiting for that one card...its like lord of the rings just with cards...ONE card in the darkness bind them (i cant remember the whole of the rhyme..but it prooves my point..by now you'll have guessed im hell bent on conducting my self with honour. im a paladin..and thats the way that i am, i apologise if i ruffle feathers being like this..but its the fact that i find no honour in turning over one card to end the duel instantly.

no honour any where and to the next point, i would love to know why they chose obelisk instead of anubis.....anubis sounds better and would be more fitting with the actual GODS..as obelisk is the only odd one out there..Ra sun god , Osiris god of the afterlife and anubis, the jackel god, watcher of the dead pharoahs, present at the weighing of the heart.....but of course you already knew this didnt you ! does any one else know what Ra was said to have done every night and day !..

im going to sound like a broken record here but, i really do start to think what would happen to your decks if they decided that you should only be allowed one of each monster in your deck, youd all be worried!!. try dueling with honour and faith and trust..its character building and improoves your skill level...instead of thinking "oh no my wingweaver has been destroyed and ive used monster rebourne oh wait ill wait for my next one" try "hmm, could mean a change of plan, but thats kool".. and with that im done, and if my dear sister is any where, im sure she would agree!

i'll tell you why i like yu gi oh. i like it because i like ancient egyptions..i USED to be able to make a list of most of the gods and goddesses of the ancient world (pre revolution) however my computer knowledge has unfortunatly surpassed that! any way. the egyptions were honourable, they fought and died for their kin... not like today's society.

to a degree i do agree with you about the THOTC (one more letter and you would have the ancient egyption god of scribes), my deck on several occasions whilst dueling has supplied me with the right card to get out of an almost unwinnable situation , some ppl put it down to luck, but if you stop to think about it, you built the deck, so you know the cards in there...its just that my deck seems to just give me the right card some times...other times it wont have the right card in time, but it is usually not too far from the top. Any way back to honour, on this one i totally agree with you. honour is duelling with courage nd for the right reasons, BUT its also knowing your own limitations. dont enter some thing you know you can not win, it serves no purpose to expend resources on a fruitless battle.
