Just because the main characters are all female, doesn't mean it's all for fan service and "girl power" bull. "Oh, so the main character ISN'T a whiny punk who leaves home for revenge for killing so-and-so or something else along those lines--I think we should all make an issue out of it! Oh, no! What're we gonna do? NO HYRBID RPG STORYLINE TO FOLLOW! Bad, bad bad!" o_O; Well, that's the impression I get when I hear ppl talking about FF X-2. To me, it's just another RPG waiting for me to crack open. And since FF is my favorite series, I don't care what, who, why, or how, but I'm gonna buy it, play it, and love it. Besides, I'm already a fan of Paine.[/COLOR]

Now, I have, other than Marche and Montblanc (who will be a Time Mage after he learns Blizzaga), a Morpher, Sniper, Hunter, White Monk (who will be a Tempest), Human W.Mage (who will be an illusionist-thing after he also learns some Black Magic, he is a newbie), Blue Mage (he's great--the coolest ability he has is Matra Magic, next to Angel Whisper), an elementalist (I'm working towards a Red Mage w/ Summoning abilities, so now she's almost done learning her 2nd required ability), a ninja (I alterate between Thief and Ninja, so when I get a weapon that has a Steal ability on it, I switch and teach it to him), a Gladiator (will make a Dragoon, just cuz they're so badass), a Gunner, and...I think that's it. I can't remember much else o_O; But what I really want in my clan is a couple more Bangaas, but they haven't been popping up lately.[/COLOR]

PREQUEL, maybe. SEQUEL, no. FF7 is my game of ALL games. Nothing surpasses FF7 goodness. But it should end there, when Meteor was nuetralized. I see no opening for a sequel. Or even a prequel. They should make a sequel to FF9. Remember what the last boss said after you beat him? As long as life exists or whatever...i see potential. o_O;

Luv the Malboro joke lol! Well, I forgot I DO have two Bangaa, and I finally gotta Gunner recruited, but I want a cute li'l Mog Knight, so I changed him back to an Animist. I have a Gladiator (luv the Sword Techs) and a White Monk. I;m turning my W.Monk to a Tempest, just cuz it looks so badass...and my Gladiator...well, I'll just learn the Abilities I want him to learn, then I'll change his job. I do that. As for my Red Mage. She's not one NOW, but a White Mage that joined my clan. I'm teaching her stuff I want (mostly Curative and offensive spells). But what I'm aiming for is a Red Mage with Summoner abilities. She'll be the longest for me to work with, though. I can somebody tell me, IF they know, where I can get a Sword Breaker for my Thief? :cross:

Yeah, I love the jobs system! Right now, I'm about 40 hours in the game, and finished about 80 or so missions. Gawd, I HATE getting Missions Items! o_< I'm currently wanting two more Moogles, I want a Mog Knight (CUTE!!!) and a Gunner. My other Gunner got killed in a damn Jagd region. :twitch: StupidstupidstuuuupidGAH!! I currently have a Beastmaster, Montblanc (Blk-Mage), Marche (Soldier but now a Fighter...I just LOVE that Doublehand ability!), White Mage (Viera...I'm gonna make her a fierce Red Mage with every magic attack i.e. summoning abilities :demon: ) an Archer (Viera...gonna make her an Assassin), a human Thief (will be a Ninja) another White Mage (Nu Mou, but dunno what to turn him into yet), a Hunter, a Blue Mage, and I think that's about it. And can someone tell me how and where to get a stinkin' SWORD BREAKER for my THIEF???? :moron: I'm not turning him into a Ninja until he learns Steal: Weapon. (Hehehe....)

I think Dual!, Silent Mobius, and Excel Saga have the best opening sequences, for a series. Mostly cuz half of it doesn't make sense to me :twitch: I just like the music in it. Excel Saga needs no debate, it's crazy and I never skip it when I watch an episode. And for Dual!, it just fits the series! No question! I hate depressing anime, and the music that comes along with it. :cross:

Naked old women. :nervous: Once when I was about 8, my gramma got out of the shower. She left her bedroom door open and I accidentally glanced at her with her clothes off as I went to the bathroom. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm the worst when it comes to heights. Just the mere thought of falling...*rolls onto the floor shivering uncontrollably* Let me emphasize. *Note: This's a dream, so bear the weirdness* I had a dream where I was clinging to a McDonald's sign pole above the clouds. I was so damn high up. I woke up panicking when I felt myslef beginning to fall. Okay, so I have a bad case of heights-phobia. I can't even climb three rungs on a ladder without getting the "crap-I'm-gonna-fall-to-my-doom" feeling...:nervous: :bawl:

I also posted this moment in the "Store Chaos" thread. This would hafta be the most stupidly, emotionally gruesome moment thus far. Me and my mom went grocery shopping at Rosaurs. *this happened about a few years ago* I remember I was in a jumpy mood that day. I was pushing the shopping cart out to our car, and decided to ride on it. Well, I hopped on the back of it and the cart and I toppled over, sending groceries all over the parking lot, in broad daylight! (and it was a busy day too, a produce sale, so their were absolutly more witnesses than I needed) And, to make things worse, my mom happened to have bought a whole bunch of eggs. And the lack of groceries my mom took out of my allowance. Instantly, I wasn't as jumpy after that. One time, during services, I had a stomach ache and accidentally let out a loud belch. Luckily, the minister ignored it and kept talking, but there were a lot of ppl that looked at me. It was horrible, but my sister was leaning over her lap, pretending to be looking at her notebook, when she was actually trying to keep from pissing herself. :cross: One of the worst, I tell you. This happened when I was about 10. I was riding my bike with my sister around the block. I turned my head to yell something to her and ran head on into the back of a car (and the car was parked, too). Another embarrassng moment, mainly stupidity, happened when all of my friends were over for a Smash Bros. Melee bash (this was when it first came out). At the time my mom hurt her back and had to get a wheelchair. She was in her room at the time. I took the wheel chair, which was in the living room, tried to do a wheelie and fell backwards. The handle of the wheelchair hit a side-table, which had a big vase of flowers on it, and it happened to spill all over me. All my friends laughed at me, but I didn't let it get to me. We just laughed cuz it was just so random. But still, it was also embarrassing as hell. :bawl:

Well, me and my younger sister are 17 and 18, and we like to goof around sometimes. However, we'd never go insane and turn the whole store inside out. But still, when we mosy to the toy aisle, we can't resist the "Try Me" toys. The Wal*Mart where I live doesn't give a rip what you do. As long as you put the stuff on the shelves, it's under control. But we're not pranksters. We'd just play with things. Most store moments would be stupid accidents or just other ppl. The most we'd do is when we went to a dept. store. Me and my sister would throw giant Care Bears around. Y'know those huge cages that held bouncy balls? Well, she took one out to bounce around and half the cage emptied onto the aisle. I wandered off, pretending not to notice, while she had to stuff each and every one into the cage. We'd turn on all "Try-Me" toys. We'd walk down the opposite direction on escalators. If we saw someone we knew at a grocery store, we'd spy on them. -_-' Here's some embarrassing grocery store events. Our mom was checking out the meats 'n stuff and for some strange reason, my sister wanted me to catch her as she fell backwards. Well, I didn't, and she landed backwards onto the meat display and onto the floor. No injuries, but it was damn hilarious. Another time (a few years ago), I dropped a paper sack w/3 mayo jars and they all crashed onto the parking lot in broad daylight :nervous: and my mom made me get an employee to clean it up (or was it the manager...?). One time (again, probably a few years ago) when I was feeling hyper, my mom let me push a shopping cart to the car. Well, as soon as I ran and jumped onto the back of the cart, it fell over and took me along with it. Groceries everywhere. And never sacrifice your rep as a goofball to be a stiff. *pops a cantaloupe into a bazooka and aims for Leh's head*

...you could just buy a new PAR/GS like I did. It's only 20 bucks and you can get every Pokemon w/the pre-programmed Master code for Ru/Sa. Just ask Crim for details. Oh yeah, isn't Mastersord's FAQ for older versions? What I'd do is just getta new one and check out LoadingNOW's FAQ (or whatever the nut's name is...:p). I had a serious case of codes-not working myself. Thank God it's over now. And if you, Abes, ever have problems with the device and not the codes (for example, codes worked before, and won't work again for some reason i.e. screen blanks out when oyu load the game, etc.) I can help you, I've been there. :blush:

Hey CS!!! I checked out the other FAQ and those codes worked! Now I can get my Blastoise! It took me some time to find another support to stick in my PAR and tweaked around with it, but I finally got the bloody thing to work! I guess it's a good thing I found out my version, otherwise I'd still be stuck figuring out which ones worked and didn't. Well, my questions are all cleared up! Thanks for all your trouble, CS :heart: And let's just hope somebody else doesn't have the same problem as I did. (I can't believe I fixed it with just a strip of thin cardboard...:rolleyes: )

Ah, just ignore my post in the Q/A thread. :cross: I's overlapping a bit so I decided to move my concerns back over here. ;) Goin' in a loop. ^_^' Well, I found Mastersord's FAQ. I thought it was great! But, when he said enter the Master Code, for the wild.Poke mod. codes, he mentioned 'don't label the Master code as m, M, (M), or (m).' So, how DO I label it? He said it wouldn't work if I did that. Well, even though I started a New Game in my PAR w/the master code (with (M) or(m))and the get scyther-in-the-wild code, in the title screen, it said "Current Game: Unknown Game, Codes On: 0" My PAR is v3.1. Is it "too new" so the codes won't work? The instructions were easy to follow. I just turned off all other codes 'cept those two. Still didn't work. And just to see if it did, I went into the game and all I encountered were the general. Blarg...:cross: I think I have the wrong codes! *rolls onto the floor, crying*

Well, a while back I DID try to do the Catch Any Pokemon codes... but...the instructions are a bit vague, and I gave up. So I have to have other codes on for it to work?? I followed the directions, then I came the part where it indicated that you make sure a type-6 code was on and one level modifier code was on, and the desired Pokemon code was on... And that's when my mind went blank...:cross:

Oh yeah, the Lavaridge egg code you gave me works, too! Now the Pokemon I couldn't get before can be registered and trained to my liking. I'm so glad I'll be getting my old Blaziken back (I'll have to get a Docile male). And what's PAR and the Mastersords FAQ? Never heard of it. Or is it the author for a FAQ on gamefaqs.com?? Hm. All I saw was codebreakers.com and codejunkies.com code FAQs there...oh well. :rolleyes: I still dunno how to activate those squirtle, etc. codes that you quoted in a previous post. I appreciate Lavaridge codes immensely! Spanks :cool:

OKay, I feel so stupid. Guess what the troubleshooting was all about?? Y'know where you insert the GBA cartridge in the AR? Well, I checked it out and discovered that the plate that went into the GBA game when put in was made of some sort of springy tabs. The tabs weren't connecting to the circuit board-thing in the cart. so that's why I couldn't get the pre-programmed codes to work, but I stuck a thin cardboard matchbox siding (kinda like a support) behind where the game should be, and it works like a charm . But now...something went awry and the plastic is a little bent and the tabs won't connect again. Piece of junk! :cross: I'll just go ahead and buy a GS. But after my experience with the AR, I'm still wondering if 20 bucks is really worth it? Oh yeah, I found out that my AR is version 3.1 I hope that helped! :cool:

[/B][/QUOTE] Well...hm. I did take the "code Pokes" to the Name-Rater and he couldn't do it. It's pretty much a "traded" pokemon and can't name it. :rolleyes: THe ones I got from the codes, I mean. In my AR, I started "New Game" (named it whatever) and added the Sapphire Master Code you included in your most recent AR/GS code-post. Then I added the "Lavaridge Egg code" and it didn't work. No other codes were on except the (m) and Lavaridge egg code. I went to Lavaridge (w/code enabled) but the old lady there just flapped her gums about the stupid hot springs! :cross: Oh yeah, to give you an idea or whatever, I checked the AR's package and it was made in 2002. It didn't specify the version...I don't think. ;)

Yeah, I love James, too. It'a hard to resist his squeaky whiney-ness and the fact he ends up with the "female role" in scams and getting smacked by Jesse all the time. And by the way, I wasn't being clear in my post above but.... **Is there any way I can get all the Pokemon eps on DVD??? I don't get Kids WB and I feel disappointed cuz I'm missing all the episodes. :(

Well, I don't get Kids WB and I only get to see the old/Orange Islands episodes. I haven't seen the movies either, I keep putting it off to rent them...:blush: Is all of Pokemon so far on DVD, other than the movies???? I like the show, it's fun to watch most of the time..... Y'know, all the episodes they've came out with so far. Like boxed sets??? I don't want VHS's.

Oh! Thanks, CS! By the way all I did was download newest Pokemon-get codes from codejunkies.com into my AR. ;) What I hate is I can't name the Pokemon I get, or breed them (all the ones I got so far are males, 'cept for Milotic) so I can register them in my PokeDex when they hatch and name them. They won't register, either, in my Dex! And what does "Route 101 mod codes" mean? Does it mean when the codes are activated you look for the selected Pokemon in the wild on Route 101??? I tried it but nothing new popped up. Where d'you get all those codes anyways? And most importantly, how do I use those "Get Unobtainable Pokemon?" That's what i wanna know! :confused:

Sooooooooo, I just wasted 20 bucks on my Action Replay, did I not? Oh well.... At least the codes pre-programmed into my AR work! Infinite money, etc. I can prep them for battle easier and quicker. 'Problem is, I want at LEAST the trade-evolution and Ruby Version Pokemon. I can't even get those cuz no one will trade Pokemon w/me!!!! :flaming: Either they "don't have the time" to come over to my house (and vice versa) or they also have Sapphire Version I'm annoyed....seriously. So, the first option is to buy a GameShark for my GBA, right?? I can't really find any other way... I have the get-Pokemon codes, I just need them to work. AAaaarrrgh.....:drunk: And I don't see how the GS is any different from the AR... Well, the get a Male/Female baby Pokemon code-thing worked, but the Fast-Egg Hatching code made the screen blank out, though. Hey, CS, how do I find out what version my Action Replay is??? Hey! I'm actually quite excited to see Yuna use guns as a weapon! It's about bloody time they made a female play the role as hero (or heroine....whatever...) And besides, in a way, I think change IS good. I just bought Origins the other week, and I love it. I thought FFII would be FFIV--AGAIN--but I was satisfied to discover that I was playing a game that I've never played before, not on an emulator (all this time I thought the actual FFIV was FFII). But my confusion's cleared up. Now what about FFIII??? But...I did get a bit bored with the storylines always seemingly revolving around Crystals of some sort. :cross: In terms of FF changes, however, to me, in my opinion based on personal experience w/all those games, I think FFX didn't seem like a FF game at all. Except chocobos, airships, Cid, and of course, the soundtrack. It seems they're (the Square staff) is going a bit off the trail. Why don't they just make an RPG trilogy or series that's played online instead of making FFXI an online game? :nope: Since Enix and Square merged (they're my most favorite game developers aside from Natsume), they should make new games. Fun one, too. They shouldn't make it TOO serious. I mean, there's the Secret of Mana series. Those rabites are too cute! :blush: But still....I'm not a fan of online games...I just wanna buy the game and play it, not buy a bunch of accessories and other crap and pay a damn fee every month! I think online games shouldn't be a spastic trend in the gaming industry. I don't like the fact that they take games that aren't multi-players and turn them INTO multi-players. Games that are solo should stay solo. Or they can make an off-shoot FF game (FF Tactics, for example) that's meant to be online! They shouldn't make it a part of the actual series! I think ppl should re-consider FFXI than FF X-2. A sequel to a FF game??? All right! I've always thought the ending for FFX wasn't right....something seemed missing. And I also can't wait to beat FFX-2 and see the 'real' ending! I'm also excited to see what games Squ-Enix will release! Yuna, Paine and Rikku. Almost like Charlie's Angels, huh? :p Well, it doesn't bother me. I think it's great. I mean, this's the first time I've seen, SO far, an-all chic RPG. I just can't wait to see how things go w/the game. Who knows?? Maybe in the future I'll start a thread about which is better: FFX or FFX-2?? And who's that new guy in X-2?? Isn't he supposed to be, like, the leader of the "Youth League" or something? Aaaaah! :faint:

I just don't know why the screen blanked out when I activated the Torchic code, or what to do about it. I typed the WHOLE code into my AR, activated it, and the screen blanked out. It does that w/Breath of Fire II as well. It's pissing me off totally!!!! Geez....I just don't get it still--I feel like a freakin' MORON!!
