1. Whooookay, it's been too long lol. I'll just go ahead and post another picture. I think I'll use SSBM screenshots, they have a lot to tell. =P But anyways, this'll do for now. ^_^; Luigi confesses that he drank the last Pepsi.
2. Which should make the path to the Power Bombs all the more speedier lol. I swear the bosses in this game make me TIRED, physically and mentally. x_X;; Gragh...I haven't finished this game while I borrowed it, I got fed up with the larvae-evolves-to-moth of doom boss guy, and I won't bother with the game until I actually buy it. :(
3.
Gameboy Advance: Pokémon Sapphire (you count it as an RPG, don't you?)
Now, tell me. Why would you not? Is it an FPS? Is it an action game? Puzzle game? Arcade game? An RPG like any other? Nay, nay, nay, nay, and yay. I would be utterly tripped out on bliss if they released the Super Famicom Dragon Quest games in NA on a collection disc (or discs), similar to FF Anthology and all those. ^_____^ My favorite RPG ever? OMG, it's NOT FFVII!!!!1 O,O; It's Tales of Symphonia! YES. That game is awesome!!! My only complaints are is the lack of emotion in it, and there's
only one cutscene in the whole frigging game, other than the intro and endings.
But everytime the word "RPG" comes to mind I think of that game, or the whole Tales series to be frank. That whole game is an audio visual feast. I suck it all up like a sponge. I love the huge worlds and hours I can rack up by just playing through it. The characters and voice-acting are all just magnificent. =D
4. The Girl Scouts are also backing this up? And here I thought I couldn't hate them any more than I already do. Now they're on my hit list by default.
5. I may have said my piece on this game a while back, but there's only two complaints I have: One, I hate the Light Suit...I don't like running around with headlights on my chest. And two, there's simply not enough Space Pirates to maim.
6. Frankly, Navi didn't bother me that much for some reason, except for, yeah, the first 2-3 dungeons. =P But I think the loud, jingling of the fairy off MM was irritating. At least Navi spoke very vague English. I swear I think that other damn fairy swallowed a doorbell. ~_~; AND I HATE TINGLE. He's so ugly and just---YUCK. He's a damn oversized pickle with a beauty mark...a sack of lard crammed into a green body suit and a thong just isn't what should be in a [strike]Zelda game[/strike] any game at all. The most annoying character(s) for me would be most of the main characters in Animal Crossing including yes, Blathers. In my opinion, there's too much dialogue in that game. Any superfluous video game character is on my hit list.
7. Just do what many people seem to fail to do: be good friends, and talk to her parents about that. Trying to get into a relationship like that could complicate things for you, her, and her family. In conclusion, if they won't let you guys be friends, keep a mature perspective on it--everyone can be irrational sometimes, and don't go into an emotion-driven frenzy and put down her family for their decision. Keep a cool head and realize you can't do much about it: you can still talk to her at school I'm sure. ^_^
8. Uhm...ok...I just got through reading the last 2 installments...uhm...me turning into a goth? o_0; All they do is whine about their misery lol... I don't like goths...wait...my ultimate form would have to be a flaming berserker from hell, with an oversized pet cat trained to kill at the sound of a squirrel farting. Hum...I'll be honest here. There needs to be more Shin and Des nad action, for one thing (and yes I deliberately made it sound rather disturbing), and that Mario-Peach bit was funny in a "I shouldn't be laughing though" way, if that makes sense. XD
9. Whee! That was rather interesting LOL. I guess I should post so you can post up some more...thus, I only read part of it. And away we go! =D
10. Mar. Good God Asuka, don't worry about that so much. =P In the end James and them are just as everybody else is. They're just people. ^_^ Anyways, now for my input. =P I prefer more than one person if something like this were to happen. Kitty! She's so CUUUUUUTE, and she wouldn't annoy me AT ALL. I get pretty obnoxious myself when bored, and I do the oddest things when bored. I'd either kill her or myself through the suffocation of laughter. XD I know I'd have a load of fun being around her, and as for PMS I don't even get it lol, and I don't even pay attention to those who do get it, unless they rub me the wrong way, then they have hell to pay. Definitely Pokemon, though, I'd enjoy pinpointing her team's significant weaknessess, muahuahuahua. >=E DarkSesshoumaru. Why the hell wouldn't I? He's my Charrie for Chrissakes!!! ^_______^ Anything we can think of, but I'd like to wrestle with him every once in a while, and watch him do his martial arts...rarely I would leave his side. ^_^ Desbreko. I'd most likely tie him up and have him recite the entire online Zelda encyclopedia just for kicks, then maybe untie him...maybe...maaaaaaaaybe....I know with Laura/Japan_86 and Des I'd have the time of my life. =D Japan_86. Most definitely. We could do all kinds of stuff. When I'm with people I like to do more than talk lol, especially if all I could was talk to them online. She's one of the closest OBers to me, so she's in by default. =D Shinmaru. Alright, it just wouldn't be the same without him and Des. XD He'd better bring a cup, but I doubt anything would nullify Des's nad powers. XDD In all reality, I'd have a lot of fun talking to him about games and stuff, and he's just fun in a dorky way. ^_^ I don't come across people like him very much. Alright, that's about it, otherwise it'll just turn out to be a Who Would You Meet IRL post or something LOL. XD I don't think I'd wanna leave the island for a few days, until it starts turning into "Lost" then I'd get my a** in gear. @_@;; I'm pretty creative and practical, but depending on what's even available on the island depends on whether or not we could actually leave. OH! Once we're able to build a raft, we can go sailing like Pippi Longstocking, and Shinmaru can be the monkey. XD

Pok

Alright, before I head to bed I'll state the reason why I'm so unfalteringly dedicated to the series. If you know me personally, I enjoy games like Pokemon, Earthbound, Dark Cloud II, etc. I lap up lighthearted adventures with lighthearted graphics like a cat to a puddle of milk. I guess that's why I didn't enjoy Pokemon Colloseum too much, it bored the hell out of me! It wasn't fun and creative enough like the Stadium games. It didn't beckon me with promising fun and innovation with my Game Paks and my own Pokemon. The only light was getting Ho-oh and Pokemon for my Dex (getting all the Pokemon wasn't the problem, but how I got them >_
12. Mountain Dew? EVIL! Evilevilevil! You need to equip Des with his Golden Boot next time. :D

Overhyped

Haha! Good one Sennen! XD Even if OoT is my favorite Zelda game, it's pretty refreshing to see a new perspective opposing the hype. ^_^ I agree on the Halo franchise. I watched a couple of my friends do the co-op campaigns, and I felt so bored with it that I layed down in my friend's lap just because I couldn't sit up and watch it. XD But once multiplayer came, I was disappointed with the controls. "Gotta get used to it." Yeah, well, I'm pretty adaptable, but that doesn't change the fact that I hate the controls. I get tired of hearing about Halo, Halo, HALO. My best friend's ex has an XBOX and only one game: Halo. Gimme a break. Then there's the sniveling anti-Nintendo fools who've never played a GCN "because it sucks", and if they had their way they'd wear Halo t-shirts, hats, underwear maybe. XD Yeah, things are usually overhyped for a reason, but I mean, people need to give it a rest [strike]every once in a while[/strike] for good. Now a game that I personally think is overhyped: Kingdom Hearts. I haven't beaten it yet, and I've had this game for a long time. I dunno, the storyline doesn't pull me in as much most others, and I shrug when people ask, "Don't you wanna know what happens/how it ends?" It was good, of course, and I need to get back into it to ready myself for KH2 this winter, but I mean, it's just...blah. It just doesn't pull me in, and it fails to beckon me. =P I just get tired of hearing about it, like FFVII, even though I love both games. It's just all old news to me I guess lol.
14. Farmer: "Whoa! Max is evolving into a bird! Quick, Celia, get the camera!" :O ...~_~;
15. Has anyone heard of Hansen's natural soda? Honestly, this stuff ROCKS. It tastes heavenly. I avoid general sodas as much as possible, with all the sugar and artificial boolsheet. They even have colas without the phosphoric acid, and it tastes good, too. Cherry vanilla creme IS the best flavor ever. I have a bunch in the fridge as I type. XD Whoohoo!

Pok

I've been a faithful fan of Pokemon ever since that fateful summer of 2002, when I finally had my first job, and had got my own Pokemon game: Crystal version. It all started way back in middle school (I was in 7-8th grade when Pokemon was released in NA). At this point I didn't have money or anything, and was never really a *big* gaming fan like I am now--I just played whatever was around and what my brother rented. I didn't know about Pokemon until my brother went off about Pocket Monsters (at the time he was 17-18, and was into Japanese games and whatnot), so he got Red/Blue for his GameBoy emulator. He got me interested so I played until the Viridian Forest, then quit for some reason (most likely that he simply occupied his own PC most of the time lol). Pokemon casually slipped my mind for a few years until my third cousin obtained Blue and Yellow versions (we visited them once a week so I got to see him a lot) when I was in H.S.. He let me borrow Yellow version, and I was happy that I finally got to play it. So, having the Super GameBoy at the time, I played it until I got to Rock Tunnel, and then *GASP* my brother, without asking, played it one day, and saved over my file!!! Good God, I thought he had figured that Pokemon only had one save file. >:O Anyways, I returned the game to my cousin upon the next visit. That was the same year my best friend let me play his Silver version (and y'know I'm still sure the game hasn't been played since, and my Jigglypuff named Fathead is still in the party). I returned it again after a while, because I wanted my own copy (lol), and all this was the same year I got my copy of Crystal version (2002, I was about 16-17). So yeah. I love the series. I love the series for what it IS, and I don't hate it for what's it's NOT. People always seem to refer to the anime as the series itself. THAT pisses me off. People see annoying Ash, Pikachu, and the cute stupid Pokemon or whatever they wish to label them as. But y'know what annoys me most? When it's taken too far, like the card games and Pokemon cars. That's ridiculous. After a while Pokemon WAS the TV show, more than the games. I never really saw a three-year old enjoying a session of Red or Silver version. Pokemon should never have left the Game Boy screen and the pages of manga. I think they made Pokemon underwear for toddlers even. That's plain wrong. Like Mario and Zelda, Pokemon should'nt be left in the hands of kids and babies, and that punches holes in its rep. So with that aside, a spark of realization has sprung in my mind. I see Pokemon now, and kinda notice that it's not as kiddy as it was, and I don't see Groudon and Kyogre cereal or whatever in the hell. Maybe it's because the franchise is "dying out"? Well, yes, I agree with that. But I see it in a different light. Not dying out altogether but just changing. Ah well...in the end it's just an awesome and fun RPG series that I can't condemn. ^_^
17. You guys took a lot out my mouth. To be more blunt, I'd hand the alien a copy of Hustler and a Big Mac and let it go from there.
18. Well, with my name being Erica I haven't really had any nicknames until just recently. I don't know why, it just happened. X3 Ooka/Eeka - Haha, alright. This was obviously from the days when my and my little sister (only about a year younger than me) were toddlers, and then she couldn't pronounce my name too well, so she pronounced it like this. Later it was used as a sign of either recognition or affection. :3 Not even used anymore. Sounds like a caveman grunt. Beeg - My dad called me and Sis this name when we were little, and us to him--it's a silly variation of "pig", which we, as little kids, pronounced it as "peeg" then it evolved to "beeg" which is easier to say. We've been using it as an affectionate greeting ever since, wherever we're at.. ^_^ We just usually shout the name out. :p We're pretty silly. Erikeet - This one is my favorite, because I'm fond of, well, stuff that is cute, and sounds cute lol. It's the nickname my grampa has called me all my life lol. A variation of parakeet. It was only known among us until the other month, when it spread to my friends IRL after doing a random survey as a DA journal entry lol. And my last name, Pridgen, has sprouted the unoriginal and stupid name Pigeon. Thanks to that, plus Erikeet, I remind one of my close friends of a bird. ~_~; A few others are signs of affection, like Erikitten, Ericat, Erika-chan (I never knew that was also Japanese name, pronounced Ereeka, until my brother told me; he's studying the language). These are just random affectionate nicknames my best friend calls me (and yes, he's a guy). XD
19. Yeah, I was upset that the Dreamcast "died". I liked how the RPGs on it at least made an attempt at being original to an extent. :3 And the console/games felt more..."imported" than the others, y'know? Like, well, "non-Americanized" or whatever. My disappointment....hrm...GameGear, too. I mean, I figured they'd have big titles/favorable RPGs on it or something. All I have for it is Sonic II--I can never find anything else as worth as much as Sonic. :(
20. (Lol, you are so odd Zidargh.) :p *dinosaur sees Juicy Fruit sticking out of Fox's back pocket*
Competitive Battlers, Typhlosion HAVE THUNDER PUNCH AGAIN!!!! Since there is pokemon move tutors for all the elemental punches.[/color']
Yeah, I want my Electabuzz to learn both Ice Punch and Cross Chop lol. I had one that had those in Crystal version and he pwned like nobody's business. :p Then I forgot to trade it back to Blue when I saved over my Crystal file. >__
22.
I also really think its dumb when you get items from monsters and they make absolutely no sense whatsoever.
Ah. Simply put, I was merely referring to this statement. ^_~ EDIT: Oh, dammitalltohell--instead of starting a new post I spaced out and edited over my old one. :( This sucks big time. I wish I knew how to change it back. >_
23. Alright, I'm getting rather tired of hearing TWW and TLoZ graphic comparisons. Every Zelda game has had its goods and bads (in their own time eras). I agree that Link's/TWW's vibrant colors nearly made my eyes pop like zits (and there wasn't much texture on Link, which made it worse), but I'm not going to dismiss the Link model and/or the game just because I don't like it as much as OoT's. Moving on, TLoZ will be a must-buy for me (well, as with every other Zelda title lol). Actually it already is. I just hope the graphics aren't as monotonously realistic as Morrowind's. Realistic does not mean "less color". In fact, environmental effects and whatnot contribute profoundly to the experience more than graphics in my opinion. I'm not saying that graphics should be shoved into the backseat while gameplay and whatnot take to the wheel...it just doesn't need to be so drab in color and texture.
24. Now that's awesome. What we need is a villain who looks like a Paladin of sorts, throw in Kekfa's twisted mind, add a dash of elegant antagonism from Kuja, stir in Ganondorf's laugh, and most of all, equip him with with a modern-esque weapon, like a chain gun-slash-crossbow that shoots little blades or something. :p Speaking of male villains, what about the female villains? They're just as bad--I mean, they seem too 2D, too starchy. I especially grow annoyed with the "catlike" personalities and constant nonchalance. A great erratic voice would be rather interesting, like Flotsam from Dark Cloud 2. I love listening to his speech lol. For example if he says something like, "Prepare to die", he'd say it rather casually, then shout "DIE!" when he finishes. :p
25. No matter how shiz or "bomb" a console may turn out to be, it all boils down to this: the games. Y'know, it just wouldn't make too much sense to me if a 'gamer' buys a console because it "kicks ***" and the majority of the games for it is purebred sh**. (Alright, I might've messed that sentence up but as long as you got my point, who cares lol.) Well, I'm gonna guess that Microsoft may fail. I mean, their next console isn't even gonna be backward compatible, is it? That can be one of the things that may kill it, if not the biggest. If Microsoft Windows is buggy, I don't expect much from one of their consoles. I know I'll buy an XBOX eventually, just for a couple games (sad, in my opinion), but there's no way in hell am I gonna get their new console. I'd rather buy a bunch of games instead. (Quality over quanity? Psh, I'd rather have both. ^_~) EDIT: Ok, well, the GCN prospered and it wasn't backward compatible but hey, the GBA was. I'll include that in there. :whoops: (Plus Sony.) XD
