Sorry I'm late!!!!! I had to clear up some stuff over here with my parents. :D -------------------------- "OH SHOOT, OH SHOOT, OH SHOOT!!!!!!!" Melody was riding on Seiyaryu at full speed with a trio of Harpie Ladies close behind. Kuriboh was having a heck of a time trying to catch up. Melody took off her hat and scooped up the tired furball. Kuriboh: "Come on...three on three...we can take them easy..." SCREEEEEEEEEE!!! Seiyaryu: "Make that four on three." A Harpie's Brother flew down and continued the chase. Melody: "DOUBLE SHOOT, DOUBLE SHOOT, DOUBLE SHOOT!!!!!!!!" Seiyaryu: "Melody! Escape plan B!" Melody: "Plan B?" Seiyaryu: "HATS!!!!!" Melody: "Right!" Melody pointed her Magician's staff ahead of her and a very large hat appeared. The trio dived under the hat and three more appeared. Kuriboh: "Good. We're safe. At least until..." Above the hats a loud roar could be heard. Melody: "Oh great. Now they've got a pet dragon with them." The Harpie's Pet Dragon stomped closer, then...The top of the hat Melody, Seiyaryu, and Kuribohwas in started to sag. The last thing they heard was the sound of a very large tree (FYI: they were in the forest where Melody had lived for twelve years) crunching against the side of a dragon. ------------------------- FYI again: Calm down peoples. I didn't kill off Melody. Just so you know. ------------------------- Melody: "What happened..." She opened her eyes slowly and found herself in a dimly lit room that looked like a greenhouse. She jumped up from the bed she was in surprised. It had been a long time since she had been in an actual building. After 12 years of staying in the cavity of a large tree in a deep forest this was a very unexpected surprise. "It's a good thing the Tree Soldiers found you in time. That Dragon was very close to destroying you and your friends completely. What were you doing messing with the Harpies anyway? Trying to get the Exodia piece, no doubt." Melody: "What?!?!?! What are you talking about!?!?!? I just wanted some of the fruit up in the tree and they ATTACKED ME!!!! Who are you anyway" "Likely story," A Green Phantom King stepped into view. He was still in a good mood from the rollerblade incident, but this was a serious matter. "My name is Taren, King of the Forest and all its inhabitants...No need to ask your name. You must be Melody." Melody: "Where's Seiyaryu!!!" Seiyaryu: "Calm down, I'm right here." Kuriboh: "Me too!!" "Your Highness! An Alpha has just appeared! The Dark Realm is invading! Send your strongest..." The guard who showed up glanced at Melody. "A spy!! Where was she!" Melody: "I am not a spy! I don't even know what in the world is going on!" Taren: "I'm afraid she's right Raunzoo. (Pronounced Ron-Zoo) Remember 12 years ago... Melody, do you think you could go meet the Alpha?" Melody:  What??? I guess..." ******* Melody: "...And the Alpha wants me to go and find anyone who could help." She was telling Seiyaryu and Kuriboh what had happened when she talked to the Alpha. They were walking back to the tree where Melody had made her home. They reached the campsite and Melody grabbed some of the old stuff she found around the forest floor that could be useful. "Let's go." After a while of walking, or floating, in Kuriboh's case, through the forest Kuriboh flew ahead to a lump on the ground. Melody ran up to the lump to see it was a Magician of Faith. Melody: "Hey. Wake up! Are you okay?"

Didn't Solo say in about a week. I'm excited too. Why don't we start when three more people sign up? That should go quicker. I'm ready to start!

I call Dark Magician Girl!!!! Name: Melody (DMG in my Fanfic is named Melody so don't attack me for it being a weird name for DMG Card: DMG Girl (DUH!!!) description: we should all know what DMG looks like, right? Bio: Often the first to notice things that should be noticed, and always the first to jump to conclusions. She escaped from her village when she was young and hid in the wild. There she found a lone Kuriboh that likes to explode a little too much. I forgot...Since she ran away from her village at such a young age she knows about nothing about the Dark being mad at not getting an Exodia piece. Frankly, she just is the "Hey, we're all Duel Monsters, aren't we?" sort of person. Eventually she runs into a Seiyaryu in the wild and befriends him. Special abilities: Magical Hats, and change the area to something like Mystic Plasma Zone. How about that? *checks notes to see if she has everything...* Okay...that should be all :D
-
Me too. Except I like Kuriboh...
-
I totally agree with Nexus_Storm. I know where to get all 5 pieces of Exodia cheap, but where's the fun in whipping your opponent instantly???? I'm like Kaiba that way. I Duel honourably, but I still like dragging out the match a bit...

So that's two Ancient Egyptian lovers, counting me, I know so far... I just LOVE Ancient Egypt so when I heard that Yami was a Pharaoh on the show I went crazy...It was co cool...

Were you a bit weirded out at Yugi's hair too? :D

It's like "Break a leg" when you're doing something important that you sould do good at. They don't mean you should break a leg, they mean good luck. THOTC is an encouraging saying. It's not like the cards have a physical heart...that'd be just plain creepy. It just means trust in your deck. Another example, except it doesn't really have to do with YGO cards. I had a hamster who would bite me like crazy when I had just barely got him. When we got to trust each other more he would NEVER bite me, but sure would bite everyone else. Trust in your deck, and you can always win. I just had a good idea that explains THOTC really well. Often in a tight spot in a Duel you draw a card. At the time the card seems useless, but then...you find a plan that can whip your opponents rear end pretty well. It makes no sense, but it's an idea... *mumbles at her early morning stupidity*

I have too many favorite cards. Cosmo Queen She totally rocks in my deck because it has a Dark/Light theme Dark Magician Seiyaryu Dragon Treasure Mystic Plasma Zone :D Yami Wing Weaver Soul Exchange Solumn Wishes Petit Dragon Yes, I know it's a wimp and it doesn't fit in with my deck theme, but it's soooooooo cute! I have more, but I can't remember the rest

It has a title that I just randomly made up, but it makes sense later in the story. For those who already read through this I wrote the next two chapters at the bottom of this one. :D --------------------------------- Chapter one: Summer Surprise Yugi groaned and looked at the clock. It was the last day of school and the very last subject was Grammar. Yugi was incredibly good at school. He managed to pass each test in each subject with flying colors, but an English test in the last twenty minutes of school was just unheard of. "Name the 24 more common adverbs. Hmmmmmm," Yugi thought to himself. He looked around to see if any of his friends were done. Bakura and T`ea were done and were both reading books. Tristen was still working on his paper. He was staring at the clock and tapping his face with his pencil. Joey turned around to talk to Yugi. "Hey, Yuge, did you hear...," He was cut off by the teacher. "Joseph, Yugi, do I hear talking back there? This is a test!" She said. "I was just asking for an eraser," Joey lied. The teacher gave him an evil stare strict teachers have mastered so well. Yugi gave Joey an eraser and they started back to their tests. A few minutes later Yugi looked back at the clock. 3:05, just five minutes until the bell would ring. He started back to his test again. The last three adverbs. He wrote down "very, well," THUNK! The eraser Yugi let Joey use was back on his desk between "first" and "just". Around the eraser was a paper with writing on it. Meet me after school near bikerack. Good news. Joey :) Yugi looked up at Joey who turned around, smiled, and gave Yugi the thumbs up sign. Joey got up from his desk with his paper and went to the teacher's desk to put his finished paper with the rest. He turned around heading back to his desk, looked at the clock, and mouthed to Yugi "Hurry up!" Yugi did hurry from there on. The rest of the questions were the simple "What kind of sentence, declarative, interrogative, imperative or exclamatory?" As soon as Yugi finished the "Y" on exclamatory the bell rang. Yugi and Joey rushed out he door and down the hall. Since school was over they didn't need to worry about getting detention for running. Yugi and Joey raced down the halls to the front doors leading to the bike rack. By the time they had reached the bikerack they were both gasping for breath. "So, what is it...you wanted...to tell me?" Yugi asked. "There's a new Duel Monsters competition...You'll never guess where...it's gonna be held though," Joey replied. "Where?!" Yugi questioned excitedly as T`ea, Bakura, and Tristen found them. "Where what?" Tristen asked. "Yugi, you forgot your backpack," T`ea saod handing him the backpack. "I was yelling at you the whole time the two of you were running here. It wasn't a fire alarm." "Sorry T`ea," Yugi said laughing. "Joey wanted to tell me something and I couldn't wait." "Well," Joey started. "The new Duel Monsters tournament is gonna be at an amusment park! No one knows the rules yet so it's gonna be like another Duelist Kingdom." "At an amusement park!?!?!" Everyone shouted. "Who in their right mind would hold a Duel Monsters competition at an amusement park? Everyone will have too much fun on the roller coasters to Duel," Tristen pointed out. "Who's throwing it?" Yugi asked. "No one knows. I hope it's Kaiba though," Joey said grinning evilly. "If he is throwing it I'll be able to get in his face about it! 'Hey Kaiba! Brilliant idea throwin' a tournament at an amusement park. Everyone had so much fun on the roller coasters'" "Kaiba's a bit smarter than that, Joey," T`ea replied. "When does it start?" "In two days!" Joey exclaimed. "Two days?!?!?" Yugi shouted. " That sure gives us a lot of time to get ready. So where is the park?" "Over by the Domino Harbor, where the boat for Duelist Kingdom was. It's kinda hard to miss the roller coaster," Joey laughed. "Good point, but I don't remember seeing a park around there. And the Duelist Kingdom tournament wasn't that long ago," T`ea pointed out. "It would be nearly impossible to build an elaborate theme park in just a couple of months," Bakura added. "Yes, that is weird. But it's just another reason for us to enter the tournament," Yugi said. "I don't get it," Joey replied confused. "Think about it. An amusement park that appears out of no where. Unknown rules and no one knows who started the tournament. It all adds up to be pretty fishy." "Will Mako Tsunami be there?" Joey ridiculously said. :D --------------------------- Is Yugi right about the tournament? If so, what new threats will he face? What new dangers await him and Yami? Will Joey ever ask a smart question? Find out in Chapter two: Pharaoh's problem!!!!!!!!! --------------------------- I don't want to double-post so I'll just start on this new chapter now. This chapter is short so I'll post two instead of one. :D --------------------------- Chapter two: Pharaoh's Problem Yugi walked all the way home wondering what the new tournament was all about. Most of the questions he asked himself were "What if" questions like, "What if the Rare Hunters are back?" and such. When he reached the game shop his grandpa was out in front sweeping and humming to himself. "Hi Grandpa," Yugi greeted walking towards the door. "Welcome home Yugi. How was school?" Yugi's grandpa asked. "Pretty good," Yugi answered. "Joey just told us about a new Duel Monsters tournament that starts two days!" Later that night as Yugi finished reassembling and sorting his deck in his room he saw Yami sitting on the bed looking depressed and worried. Yugi was a little confused at this because Yami, a Pharaoh from Ancient Egypt, was NEVER like this before a big tournament. "Hey Yami? What's the matter?" asked Yugi worried that something dreadful was happening. "It's really not too important, I hope," Yami started. "Phew," thought Yugi. "Isizu said the events of the past would happen again, but one thing from the past hasn't happened yet," Yami answered. "Really? What happened?" Yugi questioned. "Before the War of the Shadow Games, there were great battles that led up to the War. Near Memphis at an oasis a great battle riviling even the Shadow Games War. As soon as it seemed impossible for us to win a two girls appeared out of nowhere riding a dragon and defeated the evil," Yami explained. "If the events of the past are to repeat...," Chapter three: Unexpected Warning Because of the events of last night Yugi was even more excited and determined to enter the tournament. Yami seemed really worried about what might happen. It was like whatever would happen would be harder than even the Battle City Tournament. Yugi walked down the city streets in search of a place to register for the tournament. The place where he and Joey registered for the Battle City tournament was closed because it was run by Rare Hunters, the evil Duelists sworn to secrecy and obtaining rare and powerful cards. Yugi continued walking and as he passed a crowd of shoppers he saw a sign. Registration for Duel Monsters Tournament

I'm staying away from you... Millennium Door Can "open a door" to different realms and very good for shutting in people's faces. :D  -
This makes me so proud to be an honourable Duelist. :D GO HOTC!!!!
-
Lucky....We can't even walk inside the school during breaks and recesses and stuff. We have to Duel outside. They won't even let us play baseball with snowballs because we couldn't find a real baseball! Yes, I know. Off the subject.

LastSheikah replied to Wormmon's Tamer's topic in Creative Works
I'm sooooo boring. The names I "make-up" are never original. Talli: One of my nicknames 'cause I'm so tall. Melody: My cousin's name. Tobin: Some guy I met a LONG time ago. -

OH YEAH!!!!! This is the thread for me!!!!!! If I were to write about every one of my strange expiriences it would make a book as big as the dictionary!!! numero uno: I saw a ghost of a relative a month after she died. #2: I was outside climbing a tree when to the west I saw something zig-zagging through the sky. It looked like a orange disk. #3: There's more, but I can't remember the rest too well. Frankly, I might as well be an alien. :D Yes I know I'm weird.

Just a thought...

I think Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon are competing with each other. Seriously!!!! Pokemon is getting better games...so it Yu-Gi-Oh! Pokemon has movies...I think Yu-Gi-Oh! is getting one. But, frankly, no offense to Pokemon fans, I'm one too kind of, Yu-Gi-Oh! won:D I explain this...I was just a weird thought I had a while ago. I say Yu-Gi-Oh! won because I like it a little better than Pokemon so it isn't a realworld-wide opinion. Also I guess I thought Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon were competing because I was tired, bored, and had nothing to talk about

I have a thing for Petit Dragon. It's so CUTE!
