  1. I bought the CD it's first day out on the shelves and I must say that it's all good, specifically hit the floor, lying my way from you, nobody's listening, and easier to run. Session is also good, and that is not to say that the rest of the songs dont rock. Im very happy to hear more of Chairman Hanh, but kinda wish some of the phat synth stuff from Reanimation was back. LP RULEZ!!! Go Pheonix...

    Punk Music!

I could ramble on for hours, naming more bands that are completely unheard of, but other than that, I dont have much new to say, except that I play bass in a punk band and thus punk and ska are my two favs. If you're a bassist or drummer, then you know that if you want to have any fun, its either punk, ska, or jazz. And so... The only real point here is PUNK MUSIC ROX FOREVER. SO there. h4x0r.
  3. I completely agree too, I was just reinforcing the point gokents made. They could use a few updates. Oh, by the way, Psycho, what "Calvin" do you refer to?
  4. True, and, true, and ...true. Whoa. And yes, Cartoon Network is a great source.
  5. Yes, the dummy plugs were manned by armies of 'Reis' which contained her synchro data, and Ritsuko was charged with murdering them all... If I remember correctly. Duh... we all look stupid, but I have an excuse! ^_^
  6. Oh, of course, Im an idiot. The episodes are in script form only. Heh. And I just realized that "Darkness" posted something about it too, a few posts up. OOPEZ!
  7. I remember reading that the DVD will include all 9 episodes, plus a making of featurette, and an art gallery. Does that help anyone?
  8. First of all, I will say that trigun is a really cool show after all, mainly because of the humor, as gokents said. Not always the action. So, yeah, Cartoon Network did us a favor. Does it mean they're awesome? Not really. But they moved up in the world, for being daring. Uno problemo, however... do they have to show a gazillion episodes of DBZ and pokemon, and one episode of Gundam 0080 per week? The cruelty. Um, sorry if I offended any Pokemon or DBZ fans.
  9. Evangelion is, needless to say, one of my absolute favorites. It can be anything you want it to be, on so many levels, that there is always something new to discover every time you watch it. It can be as deep as you want or as shallow as you want. It is truly an amazing series from all standpoints. The subplots are also just as engrossing as the main drag itself. My question is, has anybody checked out EVA-R? A man named Maher-Al Samarki has created another 20 some-odd episodes to tie onto the end of the story, which deal with the true cause of the second impact, the relationship between Shinji and Asuka, the relationship between Misato and Ritsuko, and the advent of the EVA-N, a synchro enhancing compliment to Rei's unit 00... I wont give anything away, but for devotees of the show, I found the script to be worth checking out. It has many good concepts within the episodes, but then, a few episodes are just kinda blah. So... Just thought you'd want to know! If you've read it, say something. Good, bad, I want to hear some opinions. Anyway, cool. And by the way, I'll say it again, with an early morning wake up call from Fuyutsuki, some swigs of Sake, and some beretta clips, Major Misato would pound Faye's face into the ground. h4x0r.
  10. I don't think I like the idea of anime in the mainstream, and I agree with reason B. With manga and anime becoming fads, our creative power and depth is taken away in order to appeal to the lowest common denominator. And since anime has always been witty and intelegent, this might change it for the worse... Disney style. Those who know Anime know that it is anything but childish. However, it could be a little more accessable to those who are trying to get into it. After all, the shows that drive most people to become fans aren't the great ones like EVA, they're the more child friendly, syndicated ones like Digimon and Pokemon. A PS- Not to sound like a jerk, but I was kinda put off by the quality of the work in the Fan art section... Of course, that doesnt matter, as long as we all have fun, right?! Uhhh... w0rd.
  11. WHOOOOOO...!!! Evangelion fans! Cool. The real beauty of the show is that it is both easily accesable and very deep at the same time, on many levels. And also, as mentioned above, it is quite well balanced, with interweaving storylines throughout that are incredibly engrossing. Gotta love it.
