Ya know, when Yu-Gi-Oh came out, it was supposed to be considered PG-13. There's a bunch of things that might not be appropriate for little kids, but it looks like everyone here knows that Yu-Gi-Oh is just a game, and that's the simple truth. Even if it does seem a bit demonic, there's no harm in that. It's just a game. Now as for that Pokemon comment, it's been attacked by every possible group out there, and there's probably more to come. They've called it demonic, pagan, you name it. And you have to admit, Pokemon was really big. My argument has always been the same. In Pokemon, Dark is not symbolic for evil, nor are ghosts. Dark is simply the absense of light, a state of being, and in that case, a basic element of the universe from which power can be drawn. Ghosts are simply spirits of the deceased that still remain on the earthly realm; whether they are evil or not simply depends.

OOC: I'm kind of confused here, so here's my recapitulation. Nico is now known as Nexci, and has now gone ahead to do something, right? Then Feyd is a blue Kuriboh who can multiply and is guarding the Exodia piece with the main group: Chaos, Blue-Eyes, Neo, Onyx, and Valyrion. The Kuriboh that accompanied Melody is a completely other one than Feyd, which is normal-colored and got lost during the Earth realm battle. Now I?m figuring that the main group is in the fire realm, since it?s the only realm that makes sense with a desert. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The group had traveled across the wasteland for days, the harshness of sun and sand wearing away at their minds mor than their bodies. Though Valkyrion did his best to keep the company together, there were those who lagged behind and those who flew ahead. Tempers have flared, especially at Neo, for it seemed that the group was wandering aimlessly in circles, slowly working their way to their doom. For now, the group has stopped once again at the base of a volcano, now far out from the desert, nothing around them but rocks, dirt, and a few mountains on the horizon. Blue-Eyes, now fully restored, has taken flight to try and scout for this realm's temple, while Neo performed the same ritual as before. Everything happened exactly the same, except now all the sand did was fall out of his hands and directly down, towards the ground. "I don't understand it," said Neo, shaking his head. "That should've worked..." Blue-Eyes landed, then reported the same news. There was nothing in sight. At Valkyrion?s request, Neo did the same ritual again, the sand falling just as it did before, except now the Kuriboh was watching intently. Though silent before, the Kuriboh now spoke up. ?Say, if the sand is supposed to point to the direction of the temple, then maybe the temple is underground, considering how the sand is falling directly downwards...? ?The Kuriboh has a point, there,? commented Onyx. ?It would explain why Blue-Eyes hasn?t been able to spot it from the air.? The others looked at each other, half regretting why they couldn?t have figured that out for themselves. It was a momentary pause, so quickly that the company began digging in the gravel under their feet. Only seconds later did Chaos call to the others, his staff (?) unearthing a panel with a symbol in the middle of it. Ancient as he was, Valkyrion recognized it immediately as the divine symbol for fire. Using yet another spell, Neo conjured a ball of fire, and held it in front of the symbol. It glowed, irridescent, and then the panel was gone, leaving a trapdoor. * * * * * (time has elapsed) * * * * * As the group made their way through the tunnel, the atmosphere around them became gradually hotter. They soon emerged inside the volcano?s magma chamber, with a huge lake of molten rock in the middle, encompassed by tiki torches.

The easiest way? Find a way to copy a bunch of Rare Candies. The best way? Keep doing what you're doing. No one said training is supposed to be easy. And don't bash Ru/Sa. There's a bunch of better stuff here than in past versions.

The PokeRus (Pokemon virus) is a VERY rare occurence that, in GS, upped your Pokemon's stats temporarily. It's contagious, so you can actually use it to your benefit, boosting all of your Pokemon's stats. Crimson Spider, I haven't seen the PokeRus in either GS or Ru/Sa, so I can't really help you there. But then again, why question a good thing? You have the PokeRus, and that should be enough...
Originally posted by ThePikasElbow I'm really excited about this movie. Hard to believe it comes out in less than two weeks! To tell the truth, I wasn't a big fan of the first X-Men. There was hardly any action, and they focused way to much on Wolverine. Now, there are more characters, and they have been developed more. The previews for X2 has more action than X-Men had! Some of the fight scenes do look a bit goofy. I mean, Deathstrike spinning in mid air and then hitting Wolverine? I hope all the fights aren't exaggerated to the point of making it look silly. As for the new story, it seems a bit darker than the original. What's with the dark sequels lately? I like the turn it's taking though, it should provide a more interesting story than the first installment. So I'll go see it for sure. I can't wait to see Gambit (as small as his cameo may be).
Sorry to say, but Wolverine still has too big a part of the story. But yeah, all the new mutants will be cool. I've seen previews of Nightcrawler's fighting, with the smoke and the tail and the fur and the teleporting and ... yeah. Really cool. Can't wait to see it.

occ: hah hah, "Goblin's Secret Remedy". Clever. And might I add, a bit venomous, too... *shrugs* I guess Neo can have quite a temper. Now, since Chaos said we're in a wasteland, I'm guessing the group is in either the dark realm, the earth realm, or a wasteland-like part of the light realm, the realm which the typhoon was originally supposed to bring us. The next excerpt is pretty much the same as Domon's, except from Neo's viewpoint. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Neo gazed at the scene that was unfolding from afar. The Blue-Eyes was still partially incapacitated, which means they were wasting time. The swordsman glanced at the goblin's house. He had no tolerance for wasting time, which he had shown very clearly to that goblin. Neo made his way over to the Exodia piece they were guarding. The Kuriboh eyes him suspiciously, but he kept going. Everything was clear now. The dark forces were after Exodia and his power, something the swordsman knew instinctly with his heart and soul that should never happen. For once in a long time now, Neo had a purpose in life, and he was determined to fulfill it. Determined to protect Exodia. Neo walked back to the other warriors, who were gathered near the Blue-Eyes. At least the dragon was on its feet now. Without even letting the others know, the magic swordsman initiated another spell, one which will hopefully point them in the right direction. His magics were extremely drained from battle and keeping up the Megamorph, which he had dropped now. If this next spell were to be executed successfully, the swordsman might not be able to invoke any magics for a while afterwards. As he whistled a high-pitched note, Neo traced the infinity symbol in the sand with his right foot. Once that was completed, the swordsman picked up sand from the center of the symbol and threw it in the air while excaliming, "Neh-ta, Hoh-tuma!" A large gail came and blew the sand west. "We go west," Neo announced to the others. They were unsure of the swordsman, but it was there only lead.

Panic filled the swordsman's mind and body as he ran in a daze, utterly blinded by the darkness that ensued the Yami spell cast over the Forest. He quickly came to a clearing, where a dazzling spectacle of converging forces waged a battle. All doubt and fear was cleared from his mind as he spotted the Exodia piece, quickly filled by the call of duty. I MUST protect the Exodia piece, thought the swordsman. Acting quickly, he called upon the magic of the Megamorph. His body began to twitch, his skin covered with all sensations at once. This Megamorph is a fickle magic, which either multiplied his power two-fold or halfed it, depending on the occasion. If all goes according to plan, the swordsman would become strong enough to take these dark forces on. The magic flowed through him, filling him while it burned, racing through his systems. The swordsman let out a bellowing cry, attracting the attention of a nearby Summoned Skull. "Hah! A measely monster like you will be easy picking. I almost feel sorry!" said the fiend, diving towards the swordsman. The swordsman squinted his eyes, then leaped up to meet the Summoned Skull in mid-air. He slashed once, then landed, perfectly posed. The fiend fell to the ground in pieces. "My name... is Neo." _______________________________________ ooc: Sorry for stealing that from the Matrix, but it works so well there... I'm not sure about rules on controlling other people's characters, so if there's anything wrong in the next passage, just let me know. --------------------------------------- The Valkyrion flew low to the ground, finishing off another Summoned Skull. It disintegrated instantly under the wrath of the Valkyrion's sword. Neo ran up to the Valkyrion, still apprehensive. At least now he knew they were on the same side. It was still dangerous, for the swordsman haw made many enemies in his lifetime. Neo gripped his sword, which flared up warm. As long as he was still under the influence of the Megamorph, he and the Magnet Valkyrion were equals. "I've come to help." The Valkyrion gave an approving nod, but quickly flew upwards to occupy himself with battle once again. The swordsman looked around, then ran off to do the same.
-
The swordsman checked his wounds, then laid back against the trunk of the willow tree. The monsters who were determined to kill him before have come and gone repeatedly, and now more than ever, the swordsman was confused. Confused about the monsters who had ambushed him for no reason, confused about what is happening in that temple, confused about everything that happened recently. He was confused especially of the flying monsters he assumed to be allies before. Now the swordsman can recognize them as a Magnet Valkyrion, a Blue-Eyes White Dragon, and a Black Skull Dragon -- creatures of legendary status as well as legendary might. Perhaps he was wrong in presuming they were allies, perhaps not, but if there's one thing the swordsman knows, it's that only an event of the utmost importance would draw these powerful behemoths from their usual realm. An event that would surely affect all of Gaia. The swordsman shifted his position. Night will come soon, and with it, sleep. For now, all he could do is wait for the inevitable, whatever it may be.

The rock pyramid held the swordsman in awe for a few seconds, but he knew such a state of mind was dangerous where he was. It proved to be true, for a Witty Phantom materialized in front of him. For days now, such monsters had confronted with him. It was time for answers. "Trickster, tell me what you want!" commanded the swordsman, with a tone of voice that suggested malice. The Phantom let out a mocking laugh and took off his hat. "Foolish and ignorant as always! You tread where you should not, and you will surely regret it." Angered, the magic swordsman threw an energy ball at the Witty Phantom, but the phantom somehow managed to pull a Kuriboh out of his hat just in time to block the attack. The figure was enveloped in clouds of smoke as the Kuriboh combusted from absorbing the attack. Acknowledging his miss, the swordsman dashed forward, sword arched over his head. As he approached his target, the swordsman swung his sword, but it met only smoke. The smoke cleared, and there was no sign of the phantom. The woods around him, however, were suddenly crowded as it filled with various monsters, each with their own traps and magics. Even if the swordsman invoked his own magic of the Megamorph, the many monsters around him would quickly overpower him. They were just too many, and he could not take them on alone. The swordsman spat, then swore. He looked around for a chance to escape. Behind him in the not-so-distant sky, the swordsman spotted specks that he recognized to be monsters. Allies, he thought. The swordsman quickly dashed towards the specks in the sky, pushing his way through a group of weaker monsters. By now, the whole of them started attacking, and a throwing star planted itself in his shoulder. The swordsman gritted his teeth, but kept running.
-
The Magic Swordsman stopped in the middle of the woods. Something was following him. He had instinctly started murmuring a spell and was suddenly aware of an Armed Ninja in a tree behind him. With fluid motion, the swordsman drew his sword with his right hand and conjured a tiny ball of focused energy on his left, then turned clockwise to fling the energy ball. It moved at a surprising speed, and despite the Armed Ninja's quick reflexes, it was in flames almost instantly. A faint stream of energy from the ball's path still lingered even after the Armed Ninja's mangled and burnt corpse hit the ground. The swordsman made his way over. He spoke a spell, and the body desintegrated, melting into the ground as dust. There was a moment of silence as he pondered why a minion of the dark forces would have any interest in him. "No matter," muttered the Magic Swordsman to himself. With that, he picked up a clump of grass and threw it into the air. The wind scattered the blades to the east. The nameless swordsman sheathed his sword, then continued his journey to the east.

*sweatdrop* I think that was thought up 2 years ago in GSC... if that's your best strategy... Anyway, what I'm really looking forward to is 2vs2 strategies. The most obvious are attacks like "Helping Hand" and pkmn abilities like "plus", "minus", and "lightning rod", but has anyone developed anything else beyond that? Ru/Sa seriously wrecks my shuffler strategy from GSC.

Though I'm not proud of it, my first anime is Sailor Moon. I watched it in my toddler days, but stopped ever since I moved to America. Then I got totally obsessed with Pokemon in 1998 (and I still am). A year later, I got into Digimon, too, and Yu-Gi-Oh a few years later. During my Pokemon-Digimon stage, I started going on the web with my obsession, and I discovered anime. Those are pretty much all I watch, but I recently did searches on Evangelion and Cowboy Bebop to know why everyone else likes 'em so much.

How can anyone NOT love the Matrix! Personally, I like the levels upon levels of complexity... I'm probably the only one who took time to read all of the philosophy articles at whatisthematrix.com . For instance, the name plate of the Nebuchadnezzar reads "Mark III no. 11", which is an excerpt in the Bible that reads "When the people with the evil spirits saw him, they would call him the Son of God". Ever wondered why Agent Smith always calls Neo "Mr. Anderson"? Anderson is a name that translates to "son of Andrew", and Andrew is a name that means "man". So Anderson means "Son of Man". The philsophy articles continue on to how this relates to Neo's role as their "Savior", which is what he is called early in the movie. They also mention Neo's revival after dying... There's a bunch of alternate reality articles, too, but the whole Bible excerpt thing really caught my attention... Freaky, no?

hmmm... I'm not much of a poet, but I'll have a go. Entry #1 A butterfly posed, Colorfully suspended in Sweet serenity. Entry #2 Such delicacy Needs not a perturbation; One is left in awe. Gah... poetry--the one excuse for me to sound lame.
