1.
Speaking of witch, why don't they show the cool ones like Blue Submarine Number Six and Outlaw Star anymore? Even if they did edit them into oblivion
Well there's a reason for that. The contract rights to air them have expired. Tenchi Muyo, Sailor Moon, Outlaw Star, Blue Dub 6, Pilot Candidate, and all of the Gundam series they've aired except SD Gundam, they all can no longer be aired cause their contracts expired. Don't know if they could have any of the contracts re-newed but doubt they will do that. OK. Now since the new Saturday Toonami has aired it's first run with Gundam Seed, I'd say they did an ok job, for the first episode. Even though I knew they would cut out all the languange, blood, shootins, and fan service, I was surprised they left a little in. They left in nearly all the people getting shot, and even though most of the blood was removed in a few quick scenes you could see blood spray. Even the fan service, even though it was mostly edited out ( which the first couple episodes really doesn't have a whole lot ) there was a few quick scenes where there was a quick " breast jiggle" that was left. I'd say they left it at least 90% intact. But, I suspect there will be a lot more edited out as the show progresses.
2. Some may alrady know by my previous deck post that I like to play without all the restricted cards ( Raigeki, Monster Reborn, etc. ) which lets older decks or some underrated or even never used decks at least see the play. Well here's another deck that was played some time ago and isn't used much no more.. A Shadow Ghoul deck. ][The Cemetaries Ghoul][ ][Monsters = 25][ Shadow Ghoul x 3 Pyramid Turtle x 3 Giant Germ x 3 Nimble Momonga x 3 Kuriboh x 3 Bubonic Vermin x 3 Thunder Dragon x 3 Mystic Tomato x 2 Skull Marked Ladybug x 2 ][Magics=11][ MST x 3 Tribute to the Doomed x 2 Fissure x 2 Book of Life x 2 Creature Swap x 1 Giant Trunade x 1 ][Traps = 5][ Magic Jammer x 2 Judgement of Anubis x 1 Raigeki Break x 1 Torrential Tribute x 1 ][Total Cards= 41][ ][Side Deck=15][ Newdoria x 3 Chaos Necromancer x 2 Cannon Soldier x 2 Deal of Phantom x 2 Don Turtle x 2 Yomi Ship x 1 Hellpoemer x 1 Marie the Fallen One x 1 Baloon Lizard x 1 Ok now, deck specs. Monsters ~Shadow Ghoul. The main monster of this deck. The monster the whole entire deck revolves around. He may just be 1600 base attack, but can be 2500-3000 attack points. ~Pyramid Turtle. Used to get out Shadow Ghoul faster and with no tributes. And once in grave a slight power up to Shadow Ghoul. ~Giant Germ. Shadow Ghoul Power up. 500 burner when destroyed in battle. Field swarmer if chosen to be. A nice deck thinner too. ~Nimble Momonga Shadow Ghoul power up. You'll also gain 1000 life points when sent to sent to grave as a result of battle, and if chosen can be a field swarmer. Deck thinner as well. ~Kuriboh. Obviously Shadow Ghoul power up and of the the other obvious, attack negater for 1 attack. ~Bubonic Vermin Shadow Ghoul power up and field swarmer and deck thinner. ~Thunder Dragon. He may be a level 5 with 1600 attack points but who cares, thats not the effect we'll be getting out of him. You can discard him from your hand to add up to 2 Thunder Dragons from your deck to your hand. In one sweep you can take 2 from your deck and put them in the grave. You'll get the other in eventually.Shadow Ghoul power and yes, excellent deck thinner. ~Mystic Tomato. Can be used with Giant germ,Pyramid Turtle, and other Mystic Tomato's. Deck thinner and of course, Shadow Ghoul usage. ~Skull Mark Lady Bug. When it's sent to the graveyard in any manner, increase your life points by 1000 points. Yep monster power for Shadow Ghoul and life point increaser. Magics ~Tribute to the Doomed. Discard a card from hand to destroy 1 monster on the field, regardless of it's position. Now this can come in handy. Not only will I discard a monster and destroy 1 monster, but It'll help power up Mr.Shadow Ghoul And can be used with Skull Marked Lady Bug and yes, even a left over Troop Dragon. ~Book of Life. Special Summon a monster in my grave back to the field ? The whole point is to get monsters in the grave for my Shadow Ghoul. But that's who it's ptimatily for. if Shadow Ghoul gets destroyed or gets put in the grave then this will get him out. Plus it can work with Pyramid Turtle and it'll remove an opponents monster from play. ~Creature Swap. I can take my opponents stronger monster and give them Pyramid Turtle, Mystic Tomato,Nimble Momonga, Bubonic Vermin, or Skull Marked Lady Bug and destroy them, they go to my graveyard, I get they're effects and inflict damage to their life points. Traps. ~Judgement of Anubis. Discard a card and negate the activation and effect of a Spell that destroys a Spell/Trap card and destroys it. More Shadow Ghoul power up. Just discard a monster and there ya go. Works with an extra Troop Dragon and Skull Mark Lady Bug, plus it'll destroy a face up monster and burn the opponent. ~Magic Jammer. Negator of a Spell card, and monster dump for Shadow Ghoul, plus works with already said Troop dragon and Skul Mark Lady Bug. ~Raigeki Break. A trap version of Tribute to the Doomed and used in the same matter, monster dump. Side Deck ~NewDoria. When destroyed in battle, it becomes a monster destroyer and food for Shadow Ghoul. ~Cannon Soldier. With all these field swarmers, just tribute to inflict some burn and increase my Shadow Ghouls power at the same time. ~Marie the Fallen one. Ok, with all these field swarmers I could tribute her, but why when she can increase my life points by 200 and increase shadow Gouls attack by 100 as lng as she goes to the grave. Yep, that means thrue battle, Cannon Soldier or by Magic Jammer ,Judgement of Anubis ,Raigeki Break and Tribute To The Doomed. ~Deal of Phantom. Select 1 face up monster and increase it's attack by 100 points for every monster in my grave until the end of the turn. Sound like a pretty sweet deal. ~Chaos Necromancer Now this is basically on par with Shadow Ghoul. Increase his measely 500 attack and defense by 300 points for every monster in your grave ? Yes that is a pretty nice deal. Shadow has 1600 base and he has 500, but he gains 300 while Shadow only gains 100. Yes they are pretty much even. ~Yomi Ship. Basically, set in defense and when he's destroyed, and he's Ghoul and Necromancer food and he destroys the same monster that destroys him. ~Hellpoemer. Level 5 with 2000 attack is decent and with all these swarmers that would be easy to get out but with his effect and his defense, why put him in attack. 1400 defense and when sent to grave in battle, as long as he;s in the grave opponent has to discard 1 card from their hand at the end of their battle phase. Pretty sweet deal and he cant be Special summoned out of the grave and he's Goul/Necromancer food. ~Don Turtle. When he's summoned, I can summon any number of Don Turtles from my hand. If a Cannon Soldier is out Can sack for them. But Cannon Soldier probably won't be out very often. ~Baloon Lizard. 1900 defense- it'll stay thrue most beatdown cards. Since thats is a case, he'll stay for at least 3 or 4 turns, but when he is destroyed, not only will he be Shadow Ghoul/Necromancer food, but he'll inflict damage to opponent as well. So there ya go, rate- comment- do whatever you want. I'm open to suggestings on some things that may need fixing cause out of the couple duels I've had with this deck, I've only won 1 and they were all in the same manner as this-- no restricted cards.
3. Could someone please, please rate/comment on my deck. I sorta need it rated ( and maybe suggested fixes ) somewhat fast. nd if you are going to rate/comment please actually read the post to actually understand the deck and what It's point is.
4. Ok- some might remember a while back a posted a deck based on the rules of a fun alternative casual style of duel called Kage (Kagemusha) style dueling. It's where all cards that are restricted to 1 such as Raigeki,Monster Reborn, Jinzo, Yata-Garasu, etc. are completely banned and all cards restricted to 2 per deck are therfore restricted to only 1. Well I'm back with another deck like that. But this deck might be a little harder to do seeing as how it's very unsupportive deck style. It's the deck theme known as.... UNIONS. ][Unification ][ MONSTERS = 20 Freezing Beast x 2 Burning Beast x 2 X Head Cannon x 3 Z Metal Tank x 3 Dark Blade x 3 Pitch Dark Dragon x 2 Giant Orc x 3 Second Goblin x 2 MAGICS = 16 Mystical Space Typhoon x 3 Frontline Base x 2 Fissure x 2 Smashing Ground x 2 Kaiser Colosseum x 2 Spiritulism x 2 Nobleman of Crossout Nobleman of Extermination TRAPS = 5 Waboku x 2 Torrential Tribute x 1 Bottomless Trap Hole x 1 Magic Drain x 1 Now for the deck specs. -Freezing Beast/Burning Beast = equip these to each other for depending on whos equipped to who, can destroy either 1 face up or face down magic or trap on opponents field when it inflicts damage. -X Head Cannon/Z Metal Tank = equip Z to X, increase X's attack by 600 points. Plus X is 1800 points alone. - Dark Blade/Pitch Dark Dragon = Equip Dragon to Blade to increase Blades attack by 400 points plus gives Blade a defense trample effect. PLus Blades attack is 1800 alone. -Giant Orc/Second Goblin = Equip Goblin to Orc and even when Orc goes to defense after it's battle, you can then turn him back to attack in MP2. Giant Orc is 2200 alone. -FrontLine Base = If I have the appropriate union monsters in hand, normal summon 1 then thrue FLB, special summon the other and equip them. -Fissure/Smashing Ground= Fissure monster removal for face up lowest attack, Smashing Ground monster removal for face up higest defense. -Nobleman of Crossout/Extermination= don't really know why these 2 are in here but, face down 1 trap/magic and 1 face down monster removal. -Kaiser Colosseum = To keep monsters a bay. If I only have 2 then my opponent can only summon 2. If I only have 2, they destroy 1 and they have 2 then they can't summon another until I get 2 or more. -Spiritualism= a non negater magic/trap remover. of course they will come back next turn. It's a 1 card Giant Trunade just for opponent. -Torrential Tribute= mass monster remover - Waboku= don't need to say anything else. -Bottomless trap Hole= monster remover -Magic Drain= insurance and possible magic negater. Now this would be a little better if unions had a little more suport. Unions don't have a whole lot of supporter cards. Spirits have a lot more support. Unions don't have a whole lot of good effects, while spirits do. The only thing that good about unions is the Z/Y/Z total but those really need decks built around them and this is not an XYZ union deck. Unions don't have very high hitters alone, except for Kiryu but thats only decent if Dark Blade is out or in hand. I might add kiryu, I don't know if it would fit though. There's Aitsu/Kaitsu but those 2 are like the XYZ's, they really need decks built around them. Just tell me what ya think and if you think I could fix something then suggest away. thise deck really doesn't have a lot of card combo's in it like a lot of other decks do, most monsters in this deck are unions and magics/traps usually workable alone, with the exception of FLB. So just tell me what ya think and if you think there's a change needed then suggest away. THNX.
5.
I got this info from ANN today: Gundan SEED: 4/17 @ 930pm Rave Masters: 5/1 @ 830pm Enjoy! ^^
Yeah same here, but here's basically a full report from ANN. --------------------------------------------------------------------- On Saturday April 17th, the new Saturday Toonami block will premiere. I mean Toonami. They're gonna butcher it to Hades and back. SEED is really the most "fanservicey" of really all the Gundam series. In my opinion SEED should really be on Adult Swim, just like how Rurouni Kenshin really should've been on Adult Swim.
6. Ah- if anyone has been to ANN lately they have reported on more sad and odd news. I'll give you the report and ya'll can talk amongst your selfs . Official report news from ANN. Toonami moves to Saturday nights -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On Monday, April 19, Cartoon Network launches "Miguzi," a new action-adventure programming block. Airing weekdays from 5-7pm EST, the new Miguzi block will feature Totally Spies, Code LYOKO, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Teen Titans. The premiere of Miguzi displaces Cartoon Network's Toonami block after six years in the weekday afternoon slot. Starting Saturday, April 17, Toonami will move to Saturday evenings, airing from 7pm-midnight EST. The SVES programming block that currently occupies Saturday nights will end after April 9th. According to Cartoon Network, Miguzi will be aimed at kids 6-11, while Toonami will become more-teen oriented. Centered around action and anime, Toonami will show Gundam SEED beginning in April, as well Yu Yu Hakusho. May will feature the Toonami premieres of Megas XLR (a Cartoon Network original series), Rave Masters, and Dragon Ball GT. The premiere of Cyborg 009 S2 is expected in June. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Personally I think this is a bad move but yet good move for CN. Replacing Toonami with another block that has even worse shows will prove to suck. Gundam Seed airing on the new Toonami block will suck as well as things will be edited out a lot- cause Seed is one of the most echhi/fanservicey of all the gundam series. Now making Toonami more teen-orientated is a good move an with GS,YYH , that proves that but DBGT is not IMO teen orientated. Rave Masters I don't know cause haven't seen it, Cyborg 009 S2 I don't know but if it's anything like the original Cyborg 009 I won't like it cause I don't like Cyborg 009- not a good storyline. Don't even know what Megas XLR is but it better not be an american anime attemept like Teen Titans and Totally Spies. Speaking of Totally Spies, WTF- they haven't made new episodes since 2001 and theres only maybe a dozen episodes and they suck, TS sucks period. Some parts will be a good move but for the most part it's a bad move.
7. well for anyone who has been to the AS Forums lately ( man I hate that forum , it sucks- nowhere near as good as Otakuboards) there has been a little bit of bad news. It seems that AS Saturdays will not be happening. The following is an official report from Adult swim. ""Due to concerns from our ad sales department about giving up one hour of sellable children's inventory on Saturday night, we regret that we were unable to obtain Saturday nights for Adult Swim action. Instead, beginning Thursday, April 22, Thursday nights will be devoted to action programming. Sunday nights, beginning April 18, will be devoted to comedy. We actually believe ratings on these two nights will be stronger for these changes, but we admit it's not as good as adding an extra night of Adult Swim programming. Monday-Wednesday programming will remain a mix of comedy and action. Other announcements: -- The Animatrix premieres Thursday, April 22, at 11 p.m. -- As previously announced, 52 new episodes of InuYasha premieres will begin airing on Thursday nights at 11 p.m. on April 29. -- 26 episodes of Wolf's Rain premieres begin airing on Thursday nights at 11:30 p.m. on April 29. -- Case Closed, known as Detective Conan in Japan, will premiere Mondays-Thursdays at midnight beginning on June 7. """" Even though no AS-Saturdays they will be showing The Animatrix and such on Thursdays but I still have one question.... where will Gundam Seed and GITS:Stand Alone Complex be fitting in. It would beem the AS roster is somewhat full and very close to overflowing with too many programs and not enough hours and days to air it all. Don't know bout you but this does suck- highly.
8. Hey on ANN ( just 1 of my many favorite sites) have reported that Duel Masters, the YuGiOh rippoff, will begin airing Saturday March 13th , at 1 episode a week . On Febuary 27th, they will air a 90 minute, 3 episode sneak preview on what else, Toonami. Also if nobody already knows by now, Funimation changed the name of Detective Conan to " Case Closed". And 4Kids changed the name of Tokyo MewMew to "Hollywood MewMew". That has nothing to do with CN but I'm sure it'll eventual see air on CN cause KidsWB and CN are both owned by the same company I belive.
9. well right now DBGT is airing Fridays at 6:30 pm eastern time but I read on pojo that DBGT will be going to say " primetime". Starting Saturday , March 6th DBGT will start airing at 9:30 pm Eastern time. Now that's alright with me but the bad part is is that they will start all over again by airing the episode titled " The source of general Rildo's Power". Moving it to a later time on a different day is good for same, bad for others but it's ok with me. What I hate about that is they are airing it all over again. We're currnetly being shown about when Babi takes over Vegeta and now they're gonna go like 12 episodes back. Now that's what sucks. Couldn't they just continue airing it from where they'll switch over the dates??
10. Whoa. Scar stories, my turn. I've got way too many. I think my first scar was a... chicken pox scar. I've got a little round scar right in the middle of my forehead. When I was 10, I was paying little league baseball and I was the pitcher and, well don't wanna go into all the details but I got reamed right in the eye with the ball after th ehitter hit it. didn't get my glove up fast enough and I was knocked out and busted my face open and now I've got a scar a little below my eyebrow. You can barely see it but if ya look you can see it. When i was 14 my and some friends went to a little BMX dirt jumping site we all licked to ride and when we finally got there we stupidly didn't check and fix any of our jums and we just went . I was the first one to go and, well crashed. Wasn't my fault cuse half of the landing jump was gone. When I landed it hurt and when I got up the back end of my shirt was like shredded and I had little tiny pieces of glassand some little rocks stuck in my lower back. Turns out some older jackass's went and screwed up our jumps and broke some glass bottles over the jumps. I spent nearly all night picking glass and rocks out of my back. left little scars but over time they've faded a little. You can barely see them now. I tend to get pissed very easily and tend to like to punch stuff alot. Well being that way I have some scars over my knucles where I've punched so much stuff till they just bust and bleed. I've punched threw some glass and gotten some little scars on my hands. On my forearm, shoulder, and lower leg I've got some burn scars to were when my and my cousin liked to play around with little bottle rockets. Light and throw'em at each other and see who gets hit first. Stupid and dumb idea's but whe we were younger we thought it was fun and whwenever one of us would get hit we thought it just made us alittle bit tougher. Both of us have a couple scars by that. And the most pathetic scar I've got is a a little one on my abs thanks that what else.. the cat. The cat was laying on my stomach and was just bein a cat and my brother just busted into my room and scared the cat and he just dug his claws through my shirt and straight into my abs and just ripped. Just a little scar, didn't hurt and only bleed a little but for some reason it just left a scar. Well, so those are some of my biggest and/or weirdest scars.
11. Ok this is just for my side deck rating in a Kage Deck. I finally come up with one and I want to see if my side deck goes and supports and helps along with my main deck. Main deck. Monsters Dark Ruler Ha Des GK Chief x3 GK Spy x3 GK Spear Soldier X3 Gk Guard x3 GK Assailant x2 GK Cannon Holder x2 Mystic Tomato Magics x3 necrovalley x3 MST x1 terraforming x2 Axe of Despair x2 Book of Moon x1 Mask of Acursed x1 Fissure x1 Nobleman of Crossout x1 Giant trunade x1 Royal Tribute Traps x3 Rite of Spirit x2 Waboku x1 Torrential tribute Total cards == 40. Now for the side deck x3 Needle Worm x2 Mask of Dispel x2 Fissure x2 Giant Trunade x2 nightmare Wheel x1 Nobleman of crossout x2 Ojama trio x1 Bottemless Trap Hole Needle Worm= with 3 thats 15 cards, with 2 thats 10 cards. Thats 1/4 or 1.5/4 of the deck gone. use late in duel thats could be crucial. Nighmare Wheel =stops monster with a little burn. Ojama Trio= narrows opponents field to a few monsters. With Spear Soldier w/Necrovalley thats 1300 burn per token. Bottomless Trap Hole= get rid of monster over 1500. I'm thinking of adding D.D.Warrior Lady but i'm not sure if that works with necrovalley yet .
12. Well that deck is obviously closer to a Fiend deck then anything. 7 mons fodder for Necrofear, 8 monsters you can use with Great Maju Garzett, 10 mons can be uasage for Dark Master-Zorc. Right mix of Magics and Traps. Side decks a bit jumbled, but can't say anything about that. I give it 3/5. I would give it a 4/5 except for Dark Master Zorc. He just seems to me to be a little outa place. Even though he's a Fiend to me he just seems like he'd slow the deck down just a bit.
13. Ok now this deck probably won't be understood on this board. This is my Gravekeeper's deck for Kage-Style. Kage-Style , short for Kagemusha Style is a style of dueling that has been showing up on other boards and sites and me and a lot of other people have been playing, expirementing, and liking this style. The rules in Kage is that if a card is on the UDE Restricted list, it is banned from play. With the only exception being the 5 pieces of exodia, so that means no Raigeki, no Monster Reborn, no Jinzo, and no Mirror Force. It makes for more deck building skills and originality. Beatdowns and H-Disruptions won't run like wild fires. It's quite fun to play this way. Now onto my deck. High Level Monsters x1 GK Chief x1 Dark Ruler Ha des Normal Level Monsters x3 GK Spy x3 GK Spear Soldier x3 GK Guard x3 GK Assailant x3 GK Cannon Holder x2 Mystic Tomato Spells/Magics x3 Necrovalley x3 MST x1 Terraforming x2 Axe of Despair x2 Book of Moon x1 Mask of the Accursed x1 Fissure x1 Nobleman of Crossout x1 Royale Tribute x1 Magic Reflector Traps x3 Rite of Spirit x2 Waboku x1 Torrential Tribute Total cards 40 Dark Ruler Ha Des = He's the strongest hitter in this deck and his negating effect is a plus. GK CannonHolder= 1900 with Necrovalley and if get stuck can sack a GK or 2 for a little burn. Mystic Tomato= for speed to get out Spear Soldier, Assailant, CannonHolder, and another Mystic Tomato. Terraforming= To get out necrovalley a little quicker. Axe of Despair = extra attack for Dark Ruler , Spy, Guard, and Spear Soldier. Book Of Moon= Flip opponents monster for Spear Soldier, Flip Guard and Spy in battle phase if attacked by stronger monster , flip Spy and Guard back to def in Main Phase 2 , usage for Nobleman of Crossout. Mask of the Accursed=keep a monster from attacking plus a burn effect. Fissure= Monster destruction Nobleman of Crossout= get rid on monster, usage with Book of Moon. Magic Reflector= Counter protection for Axe and necrovalley. Torrential tribute= Monster Destructon. So there ya have. Could someone see if this may need fixin and/or rate it please.
14. Yeah, I had just read that on ANN and I'm glad it's going to AS, rather than the rumors I had heard of it going to Toonami. It's about time CN gets a good Gundam series. They haven't really had an excelent one since Gundam Wing.
15. i think it was the Humanoid Worm Drake. Ok if I'm right.... How many times has Yugi played The Obnoxious Celtic Guardian.
