Look out for the RPG in the Arena at some point soon. The sign-ups will remain open throughout the RPG, although I may be harsher with what I expect. As normal, I'm trusting even the players I have never role played with before to do their best. And I'm sorry if your name is not on the list, I truly am. Check out the Underground for the current Locations in the game. And good luck, my little Vampires.
2.
Then you aren't really living, obviously. Do yourself a favor and get some pumpkin pie next time it's in season. It will be a very enlightening expierence.
Don't like pumpkins anyway. Not really a fan of apple pie either since I don't like apples (I only eat apple crumble, don't normally eat ordinary apples either).
Sorry, but cake > pie. I know the truth hurts, but it has to be said.
Exactly. Who needs pie when you can have cake? There's more things I like in a cake than you can put in a pie.
3. *looks at posts* ... ...I guess none of you have ever been to the Sellafield Visitor's Centre? Don't shoot me! XD But here we go. There are 5 locations I'm going to point out before the game starts. You don't need to memorize them or anything, just keep them in mind. Their exact location isn't nescessary, all you need to know is if they're north, south, west or east of the city. I'll post them up tomorrow, right now here's Sellafield. You should look at the Wikipedia link as well. BUCKINGHAM PALACE LOCATION 1 Buckingham Palace is the official residence of the British monarch in London. The Palace is a setting for state occasions and royal entertaining and a major tourist attraction. It has been a rallying point for the British people at times of national rejoicing, crisis, and grief. Originally known as Buckingham House, the building forming the core of today's palace was a large townhouse built for the Duke of Buckingham in 1703 and acquired by King George III in 1762 as a private residence. It was enlarged over the next 75 years, principally by architects John Nash and Edward Blore, forming three wings around a central courtyard. Buckingham Palace finally became the official royal palace of the British monarch on the accession of Queen Victoria in 1837. The last major structural additions were made in the late 19th and early 20th century, including the present-day public face of Buckingham Palace. Today, the Palace is owned by Sebastian, the Augustine Vampire. It is used for many meetings and although Sebastian himself is in League with the S.O.L.F., Buckingham Palace is a popular place for all Augustine Vampires to meet. In large-scale planning, the Augustine clan can be found in the Palace as it is more secure than their normal gatherings in social clubs or backstreets. As well as being a meeting centre, the Palace is also a hotel for Vampires. It came to Sebastian?s attention that many of the Augustine clan spend their days hiding in abandoned houses, away from the light. He, out of his kindness to his own kind, offers his Palace to any Vampire in need of a place ? all Vampires in his clan, that is. THE BIG BEN LOCATION 2 The Clock Tower is a turret clock structure at the north-eastern end of the Houses of Parliament building in Westminster, London, England. It is popularly known as Big Ben, but this name is actually a nickname for the clock's main bell. The tower has also been referred to as St. Stephen's Tower or The Tower of Big Ben, in reference to its bell. Since Victor took his position in Britain the House of Parliament has been a dead. Victor?s politics were all he needed; he did not need the house anymore. So, since it died in such an odd fashion, the Nicodemus clan were drawn to it. Because of their arrogance and their tendency to follow their leader like a lost puppy the Augustine do not go near the Big Ben clock ? it is a safe place for the Nicodemus clan until they are found out. Most Vampires stay inside the clock itself and can rarely be seen in the actual house itself. As far as the Nicodemus clan go, they have been known to invite humans back, but never into Big Ben itself. HIGHGATE CEMETERY LOCATION 3 Highgate Cemetery is a famous Cemetery located in Highgate, London. In recent years, the Cemetery had been closed off due to Vandalism (especially of Karl Marx?s grave) and, as a result, became overgrown with plants and trees. It is relatively easy to find your way around the grass, but the deeper, older parts of the Cemetery are hidden and it is, besides the Big Ben, the safest place for the Nicodemus. Highgate is one of the Magnificent Seven and is associated with the Augustine?s cemetery gathering ? Brompton Cemetery. Highgate is constantly guarded by many of the Nicodemus? clans most vicious Vampires. To enter it without another Vampire would be incredibly daring and, most likely, lead to death. It is also said that at the far end of the Cemetery, guarded more than the entrance itself, is the burial of the Nicodemus? clan?s most valued members. BROMPTON CEMETERY LOCATION 4 Located in the Earl?s Court in West Brompton it is the second cemetery to be filled with Vampires. It is the Augustine?s place, although it has only recently been used for the more anti-social Augustine Vampires. The S.O.L.F. are rarely seen in this Cemetery. Some gravestones have been knocked down and attacked by the Augustine, for their hatred of humanity and whether or not their entire clan agree with this act is unsure. The Cemetery is filled to the brim with Vampires watching you, Vampires that hardly ever go outside the Cemetery itself. SELLAFIELD LOCATION 5 Sellafield is located on the coast of the Irish Sea in Cumbria, England, and was previously run by the British Nuclear Group. However, shortly after their appearance, S.O.L.F. took control of Sellafield after funding a new disposal method for HLW (High-level waste) which was safer for the environment and prevented any leakage at all. Only a year after Sellafield?s take over, the site was closed only to S.O.L.F. representatives and the site?s operations became very secretive. Since Britain had been controlling ILW (Intermediate-level waste) for other countries as well, Sellafield suspiciously began to allow HWL as well, when their policy was not to allow it from other countries. The reason for this is still unknown. Since Sellafield?s take over there have been no accidents. However, when Victor managed to take control it became clear that Sellafield was more than a waste processing centre. The radioactive waste had been used to create Britain?s dangerous secondary supply of nuclear weapons. The site is used now and then by the Augustine clan to meet with their S.O.L.F. brothers and has been rumoured to be used as an interrogation camp. Several bunker-like buildings were created next to the storage chambers for the HWL with unknown purposes. Another rumour is that Vampires are quite immune to low doses of radiation (such as background radiation) but, when exposed to HWL, can be subjected to immense torture. There have also been enclosed experiments carried out at the South side of the site, classified from only the top S.O.L.F. members.
4.
Pie is freakin AWESOME! I don't know where the world would be without the invention of pie...it's kinda scary to think of life without pie... [/COLOR'] :animestun
Yet I haven't actually eaten pie in my life. I don't think.
5. Right-e-o folks. I'm not closing the sign-ups now but I just like the point out they'll be closing Friday, or possibly before. I cannot post an accepted list, or ask for any improvements yet as I've broke my glasses. And even with the text on huge I can't see jackshit on this forum for some odd reason. So I can't do much, but I will post something in the Underground thread that the Augustine Clan should look at. Or, look it up yourself right now: Sellafield. Kudos to everyone who says "Ah, Sellafield!" right away. I might keep the sign-ups open, but anyone wishing to join after Friday will have to post in the Underground. Thanks for your interest guys.
6.
Vampire rp yes! Yo Vickey, I'd like to help out with the graphics if you want. I hope this goes for as long as G&C.
Will be longer than G&C I hope =) And ta fer the graphics help. Just a quick question: is anyone willing to play Aleister Faust? I should have said a bit more about him. He'll be one of the oldest Vampires in the RPG, with a sort of Marilyn Manson-y feel look to him (unlike traditional Vampires) and pretty much knows everything there is to know. The idea is, most questions go to Mr. Faust, and any odd comments I'll make in the RPG that count as facts (such as history) will come under a header - Faust's Facts #01 .ect Probably have a little mini graphic there as well. Basically, you won't be posting any information, just playing the actual character - if anyone's interested, drop me a line.
7. The year is 2051, the month is January, and the day is cold and dead. The Doomsday Clock is one minute to midnight, the second time the world has been this close to nuclear disaster. The reason ? Britain. After a lot of changes to their government, Britain?s safety was placed in the hands of S.O.L.F., a mysterious yet, apparently, trustworthy organisation. The S.O.L.F. reinforced conventional police forces, rescue services and armed forces, providing a seemingly stronger and better-trained force behind the nation. S.O.L.F. trained officers were incredibly good at whatever job they were assigned ? Britain?s crime rate went down, whereas the status of the UK went up. With this new defence, the Nation was respected. Never feared, but respected. Before long the most important position was given up to the S.O.L.F., or rather its leader, Victor von Arbin Ljungberg. In his position Victor only strengthened the S.O.L.F. ? he gave them more power, more control, more authority and more desire to carry out their ?justice?. The streets were safe, but freedom was far from sight. Many believed that new rules had been created that were unnecessary since Victor?s rise to power, and many more believed the way they were enforced was even more unnecessary. Despite his unpopular position in the public?s eyes, Victor remained in power. But what was more stunning to the country was the sudden and mysterious event that would happen next. The current King of England was assassinated, as well as any predecessor except for his son, Sebastian. Sebastian was said to take the throne due to these unfortunate events, although the events weren?t so unfortunate for one man. Only a few days after the assassination Victor broadcasted his country?s vast supply of nuclear weaponry and nuclear engineering to the world ? a global threat. As the S.O.L.F. were better at defence so were they at war; they had manufactured a great deal of weapons that not even the United States could compete with. Victor gave no demands, but the target above Britain?s head was unmissable. Even though the rest of the world was ready to fire back they knew that one push of the button would cause nuclear annihilation. It was at this point that the Doomsday Clock, a metaphorical clock face where the minute hand moved closer to midnight (nuclear destruction) by human activities, was moved to one minute to midnight. The world was hanging on a thread of string that was breaking. Britain was under 24 hour watch by the S.O.L.F., exceedingly powerful and allowed to use any force necessary for any reason they desired. The country was safe from everything except its protectors, who protect the streets, but toy with its people whenever they wished to be amused. Britain became locked down at night, no man who did not bare the mark of the S.O.L.F. was allowed on the streets. But they only came out at night. Over a thousand years ago two humans found each other. They were cast out from their primitive homelands for being different ? pale skin, sharp teeth, and demon?s eyes. When the two found each other, they instantly fell in love, love of finding someone who shared their loneliness. Their offspring shared their curse, but they didn?t see it as a curse. They saw it as a gift, and they wanted nothing more than to share their gift. Nicodemus and Augustine, the two sons of outcasts, decided their gift was for the world. They shared it by drinking the blood of all humans they could find, to feed themselves and their desire to never be alone. This was the start of the two Vampire clans ? the Nicodemus Clan and the Augustine Clan. In the near future when these two clans became large enough, one clan betrayed their roots. The Augustine clan brought up a vampire named Olav, in Norway. Olav became close with humans, closer than any Vampire dared. Their sacred desire to never be lonely was always impossible; Vampires never wanted the company of humans ? it was in their blood, in their nature to dislike them. But Olav changed all that. He became a part of a Royal Family, related to a King and related to royalty. The Augustine clan saw this as a triumph for Vampires and decided to follow the path of Olav. The Nicodemus clan, however, decided that it was an outraged. From that day, the two clans turned their backs on each other. The Nicodemus clan was famous for mixing with humans, walking among them, sometimes speaking with them but never being directly involved with their affairs. They said that the world was humanities, not theirs, they were outcasts permitted to walk with norms; they had no place to change the world and no place to make humans uncomfortable. The Nicodemus clan were bitter about being lonely but their respect for life outweighed their dark nature. The Augustine clan, on the other hand, said the world was rightfully theirs. They were superior; the superior would rule and protect the weak. They became involved in human activities greatly, pushing into politics, becoming heirs to thrones. Fortunately, no Vampire had ever had enough of a position to change the world and mould humanity to their desire ? until now. Victor von Arbin Ljungberg was a Vampire. King Sebastian was a Vampire. Both were related to Olav, both were royalty and both were in a position that would keep the world hanging in Vampire hands. When the Doomsday Clock came one minute closer to minute at the hands of Vampires, the Nicodemus clan reacted. They had no place in the world, no place to ever save it but the circumstances were different. Their own brothers had brought the clock two minutes closer to destruction ? their own blood would cause the end of humanity. They were not human, but they knew that nuclear war would kill them, too. They walked through the day among normal people and when the sun faded they took off their sunglasses and cloaks. They rose against their follow brothers, the S.O.L.F., and defended a species that didn?t even know they existed. It was time to redeem themselves form the Doomsday they were creating. Vampires can walk in sunlight but make a point of protecting themselves. Their only essential items are sunglasses and other items that tend to add to their clichéd appearance. Physically, Vampires are stronger than human beings. Vampires are immortal by age and very hard to kill but a mortal wound can kill a Vampire if it causes enough blood loss. Loss of limps will not cause death (unless the loss of blood is too great) but decapitation is often the easiest method to killing a Vampire. The older the Vampire, the more Vampire features they will have ? unlimited sight in the dark, great reflexes, stronger fangs and brighter eyes. Although, due to this, they are more prone to harm from the sun. The Nicodemus clan have been known to be more Vampire-like, which is why they rarely act through the day. Modern Vampires are not scared of garlic or crosses. In fact, there have been cases where Vampires have gathered inside old churches with takeaways that included garlic bread and hot cross buns. Vampires over the age of 200 are the exception to this rule. They can?t really turn into bats. Or fly. The myth of a Vampire?s flight is due to the Nicodemus clan. Whilst they are not as strong as the Augustine, the Nicodemus clan are able to leap over incredible distances at incredible speeds and their lighter mass allows them to travel further and give the illusion of gliding. This technique evolved due to the Nicodemus surviving mostly in the night time. SIGN-UP Name Age Species and Clan Appearance Personality Biography Extras. This is all you need. Do it however you want ? as a story, as a sign-up, add your own fields to it, anything. You can play either a Vampire or a human, and can be from any clan. The position of Victor and Sebastian will not be filled although I would like people to fill valuable positions such as Chiefs or Generals for the S.O.L.F. or Aleister Faust. PM me if you?re thinking of filling one of those positions. Don?t be afraid to be creative. Your characters can have their own special skill, if you wish, or not. I?m looking for a lot of originality here, remember where you are (Britain), what year it is (2051), what condition the world is in (for our location, locked down, run down, secretive, traitorous), what your cause will be and who you are. It?s as simple as that. This may be my last RPG, because I have a lot of things to finish in my life. I want to make it great, but to do that, you mustn?t be afraid of the game. If you?re unsure, ask, if you think you?re sure, attempt it and see how it goes. I don?t mind mistakes and I?m not that scary, heh. I?ll show you my character as an example. Shavik Deacon von Lorentzen 193 The Nicodemus Clan Physically, Deacon is a young man who dresses in a style unnatural to most Vampires. He has a somewhat androgynous body as well as several piercings (two rings on the left and right side of his lip, two small spikes on both sides of his nose and a ring in his eyebrow). As far as his dress sense goes Deacon is becoming more traditional, wearing black (rather than his normal neon green look) leather, long coats and rarely any colour at all except for his green hair. Background and Personality Deacon is a Vampire born in the Nicodemus clan, the middle child of Haakon Lorentzen. Haakon was a famous Nicodemus clan member, living past the grand age of a thousand years but, unfortunately, had little immunity to the sunlight. Haakon was thrown into the Great Fire of London along with his eldest son and burnt to death. Due to the popular belief that his father and eldest brother were killed by Augustine clan members, Deacon does everything in his power to oppose them. If the Augustine think humanity is weak, Deacon thinks humanity is strong. If the Augustine rule, Deacon wants them dead. He is a paranoid Vampire, always weary of people?s motives. He does not talk to strangers even when spoken to unless he is sure that they can be trusted and even then, he?s weary of what he says. Deacon is generally a nice person, never evil, but never warm. He is closed to the world, cold, full of emotion but never wanting it to show. His desire to protect humanity is the only thing that proves he is a Nicodemus and that he has a heart, though he will put his life before everyone else in the world. His exterior makes him a very hard character to judge ? you?d never guess he?d take a bullet for you, but he would. Due to his slightly androgynous look, Deacon?s skill does not match his personality. When necessary, Deacon can switch on a very, very sly and suave charm, a charm that is said to seduce any man or woman. So far, Deacon has not failed, though he rather detests his ability. Clan Life Deacon was brought up beside his father and his brother. His brother protected him from the world and its danger; his father educated him to what was going on. When his younger sister was born, Deacon did the same with her, protected her, and still is now. Deacon?s face is known throughout the clan, for he apparently bares his father?s features greatly. He is known for many actions in the clan even with his young age, such as protecting the existence of Vampires and fighting for his people when it is called upon him to do so. In his clan, Deacon has never had a romance with any other Vampire, or human for that matter, despite his incredibly skilful ability to seduce any man or woman. He kept himself to his father, brother and sister in the clan, afraid to be close to people, just in case he was hurt. When his father and brother died, his worse fears came true. At that point Deacon became completely withdrawn from his position in the clan. He still protected his little sister but his communication with others became limited ? he was never an open boy, but now his mind was completely closed. He was always quiet, stalking around, listening from the back, keeping secrets from the clan. On one fateful night, Deacon left his good friend in charge of his little sister and disappeared. It was during his time away that Deacon somehow became involved in both World Wars. He fought to survive, trying not to make a difference. The sight of human death before his eyes opened his mind to their suffering and he realised that his father was right ? human beings were not inferior, they were made to be protected by the strong and not shunned away. Having survived both wars, Deacon has first hand knowledge of how a war should be fought, not to mention an awful lot of skill to go with it. After the war, Deacon ended up in Britain, looking for his sister. He stayed there for many, many years and witnessed the rise of Victor and the S.O.L.F., which made him even more determined to see them fall. Extras Deacon was greatly involved in the so-called ?Punk Movement?, which is where his cyber-gothic style comes from. He has changed over the years and awful lot, standing by in the background and trying to fit in as much as possible. In his opinion, the only way to fit in is to stand out, which he did in the Punk movement and is now doing with his odd dress sense. He is also one of the few Vampires who dislikes wine.
8. Be on the look out, I've almost finished editing this. And thanks for your interest guys. Tell you friends ;) Also, there's one difference between most Vampire RPGs: not traditional Vampires. Forget all the Blade Trilogy crap, it's much easier with new rules. The only real difference is they can walk through sunlight (although most of the RPG will take place at night) depending on how old they are and that they can be killed more ways than a stake through the heart. Difficult to kill, but not impossible. Reasons for this? Well, you've got an entire city and army of Vampires. It would take a pretty long damn time to kill all the bastards. =) EDIT: Also, is anyone willing to help with some banners for Chapters? My Photoshop is incredibly dodgy at the moment (hence the banner and avatar didn't turn out great) so sometimes I won't be able to do much. Doesn't have to be WOW AMAZING graphics, just a bit of a grungy feel to it and shizz.
9. Chavs. Well, they're definitely silly. On a weirder note, one of the small things that really upset me is people moving books. When my friends stay over, I tell them beforehand not to move any books of the shelf. Sadly one of them picked up a Batman annual and got slapped over the head for it. I don't like people touching my books, because I have to put them back and they'll move them out of order. People taking off my sunglasses. Recently, my normal glasses and their UV reaction lenses (turn into sunglasses in the sun) broke. I'm not used to bright light at all, so I've started wearing sunglasses to see better. They're pretty expensive, and everyone just rips them off to try them on. Not only does that leave me in great pain, especially now it's summer, it really annoys me. Do you know how hard it is to find your glasses when all you can see is white light? And moths or bugs. I hate moths, they somehow ate through my clothes and I'm far too lazy to buy new ones. Heck, even safety pins and sewing don't do the trick and it just looks really weird. My clothes don't look that bad, just a little odd, since I'm not really into ripping them up like I guess most kids would do =/ 'cause of that, I hate bugs. If I see a bug somewhere, I'd stand on it, especially moths. I'll pull off their wings and spit on them. Ruin my clothes, will you? I am not spending another ten pound on a new shirt because some midget moth decided to snack on my old one.
10. A Vampire RPG And my last game, at that. Yes. After G&C, although it did not finish and I regret to say I cannot finish it, I bring you what might possibly be my last RPG. That's not a ploy to get everyone to join, just that I said to myself I'd stop after G&C. But I want to make something else before I go. Which is why I'm creating the Underground thread before the actual Inn thread. I might not be able to get the actual game up tonight, so I thought I'd spark a bit of interest in an Underground thread. The Doomsday Redemption - An Overview Over the centuries, many tales have been told of Vampires, creatures who steal blood to keep their own cold hearts alive. They are feared throughout the land, even though their existence is questioned often. In fact, who really believes in Vampires? As the world grows up, so does its rationality - monsters are for children, not workmen and adults. Humanity has outgrown burning people for being witches, or accusing their fellows of being heretics for claiming the Gods were not real. The world has grown up, certainly, and humanity has gained morals that will make it better now and forever. But it is not humanity that needs to grow up. The two Vampire clans - the Nicodemus clan and the Augustine clan - had a so called 'fallout' centuries ago when the Augustine's disagreed with their brothers. They believed that the weak needed to be whipped into shape, so they could protect themselves and only then should they be allowed to live beside Vampires, clearly the superior species. The Nicomedus, just as dark as their brothers, believed that the weak should be protected by the strong - indeed, Vampires were superior, but they did not have the right to play God as they were, many years ago, human as well. When Victor takes control of a rather small part of the world his enemy clan, the Nicodemus think nothing of it. But when the King of England is mysteriously killed as well as his rightful heirs, leaving Sebestian, a second Augustine Vampire to the throne, the Nicodemus become suspicious. With Britain on lock down no creature is allowed to roam the streets after the sun falls - if so, Victor's new law enforcement will have them shot. Now in power, Victor takes the first step to Doomsday. Somehow, he has managed to increase Britain's supply of nuclear weaponary, as well as its effectiveness, beyond anything even the United States posses. Although he does not make any threats, Victor promises the US, and all other countries, that he has his finger on the button and that, soon, his dreams will be reality. The point which Victor made his speech to the Nations of the world was the point that the Doomsday Clock moved forward to one minute to Midnight. And when that happened, the Nicomedus decided now was a better time than ever to act against their menance which was their own blood. Creatures of the darkness were never meant for good, they could never do good... except in this instant, where in they could redeem themselves form the Doomsday they were about to create. Short overview, nothing special. Like I said, I'm doing the Undergroumd before the game to spark interest, and because I'm still trying to type the rest of the story up properly. There will be many typos in that Overview, it's kinda... 4 in the morning, you see. But, comments are apperciated on the Overview, and anyone interested could let me know.
11. Aaaah! My computer is well gimpish. The internet is so slow that when I do make a post, and forget to save it, the page don't load. I've done about four different posts now and I still haven't learnt to write it up in word. Tomorrow, after school, new post, finally. *slaps computer*
12. I should be posting straight after you guys have. Just giving you the heads up, so you know I'm still around ^_^

Gifts and Curses

Dani couldn't help but wonder if the ducks Quan had been feeding were dead or not by now. It didn't matter at all, really, Dani was just slightly curious he supposed. Or maybe he was trying to keep his mind of recent events, and events that were soon too be recent. So this Cairo... whom Dani vaguely remembered... was getting on Quan's nerves, somehow. And there was to be another person in the picture. Quan's sister. The maniac had a sister. Great. Two of them were waltzing around town now... if things weren't going to get worse, they were sure going to get interesting. When Dani walked back to his house (was it even his anymore?) he wasn't surprised to see Charles sat on the porch, smoking. Charles glanced up at Dani as he walked in the gate, gave what Dani thought was an evil glare. Dani reacted with an equally distasteful sneer. "You're still here?" he spat. Charles relaxed, though his hand was resting closely next to a knife. "Well I ain't goin' anywhere else 'til I'm told to." "Right, then go home." "You're no boss o' me." Charles grinned. Dani was standing in front of him by now, Charles blow a mouthful of smoke out in Dani's face. Dani squinted, feeling like a cigarette himself. The only problem was, he didn't have any. "Aren't you going to share those?" "Ah, now, why'd I do that?" Dani glanced from his house and back down to Charles. "Because you're staying at my home and what I say goes. I'm not the boss of you, but I still know where the booze is. I still know where the towels are. I still know which room you're sleeping in if you don't be nice." He saw Charles' eyes narrow at the mention of 'nice'. "There's no point keepin' this up, Charlie-boy. You wanna get along, that's fine, fact it's a real good idea. You wanna be a silly dick, that's fine too. Just remember it's my house. You'll be sleepin' in the cupboard if I say so." Charles was reluctant, he was glaring at Dani with distaste and somewhat confusion. He seemed to be weighing up his options, though the man wasn't dumb. He held out a packet of cigerettes to Dani without a word, Dani took one with a grin. Charles still didn't reply to Dani. "Want so 'ard, wassit?" Dani smirked.
14. What's this about me being crazy, then? =P No but it's quite true. My social life is biting me in the arse (i.e.: since my parents moved to the other part of the house all the way across the garden, my friends decided they'd crash in my room every Saturday). Just letting everyone know I will post tonight. Not sure what I'll post, or if my post will help at all. Just feel the need to post, heh. Well then... *strolls off*... EDIT: And so the world stabs me in the back again. Tomorrow, in school, I'll post, if I can get past the site blockage thing. It's far too late now, blame my mother.
15. Damns damnit. Time is limited in my house nowadays. Reet. So now we have an alternative dimension idea? Brilliant. Instead of having me direct all of this, why don't you guys involved (or the characters that will be involved in this) go straight ahead of make your plans? I'm all for the dimension theory. But whilst doing that, we have to more the story along, introduce Tori a bit more and whatnot. I'll be posting tonight, until we get this entire thing sorted in stone I can't do too much. If you can, try and do a few little posts as... I don't know, fillers whilst we get the ideas in order? That'd be great, heh. So are we sticking with the dimension idea? Who's going to be involved? Brilliant ideas guys, feel free to plan this stuff by yourself and go right a head and get your idea started in the story at any point (or you can wait awhile for Tori's involvement, more posting .ect). I'm sure I'll be able to follow and adapt the story to whatever you come up with, heh. As for 'Zeke and Van, I don't think they're in it =( ...then again, I kinda forgot to ask them =/ will ask them both about it tomorrow, haha!
16. Wow, took me ages to actually reply to this. But I can now anyways. I'm all for the dimension thing, if you guys think you could pull that off, so if you decide you want to do that then we'll just change who we had planned as a murder(s). So we have a vote: Torture (by means of Zane, Juliet and a good guy) or sent to another dimension (by means of Dorian's powers and others). And poor little confused StarrStruck =p I still remember your old User Name. Anyway, you're just basically in the house with all the good guys. You can do what you wish, as usual, interactive with some characters and whatnot for awhile. I can't actually tell you where to go with this chapter until we get most things sorted out. I'll try and do some updates in this thread, lot'sa ideas to us, once we get it all sorted we can go do some creative slaughtering like the good little boys and girls we are =)

When the blood on his knuckles began to dry, Dani picked it off again so he was still bleeding. If anything, he would lose enough blood and die were he was sitting. He really needed to get over these depressive spells? if anything, he was turning into the emo kids he used to give wedgies to. A bleeding hand became stupid to Dani, so he wiped the blood off on his pants, frowning at it. He really never understood how a brick wall could actually hurt anyone? it was doing a good job on Dani?s hand anyway. He just waved it again and hung his head. What he found extremely odd was the crunching sound above him. He ignored it for awhile, until it got annoying, and until he felt something drop on his head. ?Did you want something?? Dani wasn?t actually that surprised to glance up and see Quan, dressed formally as usual with sunglasses on, eating something directly above Dani and dropping crumbs on him. Dani just groaned. ?I said did you want something?? Quan hissed between mouthfuls of food. ?I really don?t get you,? Dani snarled and stood up, poking Quan offensively. ?You invite Charles to stay at me fuckin? house, you buy a museum an? have us burn it down, you?re the most evil bastard I know, an? now yer eating cheese and onion crisps over me! What the hell is wrong with you?? Quan?s nose wrinkled like he was frowning, though you really couldn?t tell because of the glasses and the fact his mouth was full of food. He glanced at Dani?s knuckles for a moment, shrugged, and continued eating. Dani snatched the crisps out of Quan?s hand and snarled, pointing in his face. ?Look, you --? ?You threw away my food. You?re going to pay for that. Although I suppose I do owe you an explanation.? Quan said, swallowing his food. Dani narrowed his eyes and waited patiently but the explanation never came. ?Well? he hissed. Quan pulled up a blue plastic bag, which continued a loaf of bread. ?Not here. I want to feed the ducks at the park.? Quan had turned and walked off, leaving Dani with his hand in mid air to poke at the man who had walked off and a puzzled look across his face. Quan wanted to feed the ducks. Was there poison in the bread or something? Dani shook his head in disbelief and decided to follow Quan?s trail of crumbs down the sidewalk, finding the man walking ahead quite vaguely. Odd. They didn?t speak when they walked, Quan didn?t even turn his head to Dani. He was sure something weird was going on, now. Quan always seemed like a brick wall of well-dressed, sadistic superiority? now he wanted to feed ducks. Dani sat at the opposite side of the bench from Quan with his arms folded under his trench coat and looking like a little child who didn?t want to be outside. Quan, on the other hand, was busy tossing pieces of bread into the water below him. Despite the kindness of his intentions, Dani noticed Quan was trying to hit the ducks, as well as feeding them. ?So what?s with you?? Dani muttered. ?Doesn?t matter, I do have a job for you though. All of you.? ?All of us?? ?Yes, everyone in your house. Zane, Juliet, Charles and yourself.? Dani narrowed his eyes. Juliet and Zane were now staying, it seemed. He really, really was not in a good mood now, though he didn?t interrupt Quan. ?We have a situation. Cairo, somehow, knows what we did and should be telling the police sometime soon. I suspect you have a week.? Quan finished the bread and tossed the empty bag at a duck?s head, causing it to yelp. ?I don?t care who does it or how you do it, shut Cairo up.? ?Are you psychic or somet??? ?Yes, quite. And I know Cairo is going to get us in trouble with the law.? Quan replied bluntly. ?The police? You?re scared of the police?? Dani snorted. ?Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.? Quan replied, folding his arms at Dani and giving the goth a disapproving frown. ?Don?t quote Einstein. I don?t like him.? ?Oh, trust me, he?s a nice guy. My sister used to date him.? Dani blinked. ?Yes. Never mind. This is about the time I start paying you properly. Do this for me, and I?ll show you how to use your powers the right way for the wrong reasons. There?s nothing to it, Daniel. Once we get rid of Cairo, we have another problem, which I don?t want you to tell you ?friends? about.? Dani narrowed his eyes again. ?As I just mentioned I have a sister. She?s in town. I?m?? ?You?re hiding from your sister?? Quan groaned. ?Yes. She?s very smart and isn?t on my side. Never has been,? he paused and sighed, adjusting his glasses. ?Once we get rid of Cairo we have to get rid of her. She?s the only person on this god-forsaken planet who can actually stop us.? ?Stop us? wait, stop us doing what?? Quan smiled, flashing the only side of his personality Dani was familiar with. The man stood up and dusted the bread crumbs off him, glancing down at the ducks in the water? who seemed to be moving oddly slow. ?You?ll see, at some point.? Quan said with a nod. ?I apologise for my behaviour, my sister?s presence in town makes me very nervous.? Dani grinned inwardly. Quan was scared of his sister. Quan had a weakness. He began to consider a way to control Quan, or at least have some control over him. As he considered, Quan gave Dani a disapproving, warning look. Then Dani remembered that Quan had said he was ?quite psychic? and stopped his thoughts of betrayal immediately. ?So your sister makes you act nice and feed the pretty little ducks?? Dani chuckled. Quan was walking off, he glanced over his shoulder and smiled sadistically. ?Yes, she does. Oh, as for the ducks, that bread had poison in it.? Dani blinked.
18. Jesus Christ, you horrible sadist people! What's gotten into you all?! Not that I disapprove, haha. Ah, reet, lot'sa posting ideas around whilst I was having friends over for a party... bit behind right now. First thing first: Cairo's Death/New Character No new character this time. That's where the problem lies, though. Last time there was a death, Bella replaced Cat, this time Cairo must die without a replacement. The death has to be unique in a way that can explain why there won't be a resurrected character. It'll be clearer later on. Murderer That's the right term for it, lol. I was thinking about it and I came up with the idea of whoever kills Cairo, if they did it in front of our new NPC (Quan's sis) that they get a beating off his sister. For one, it'll introduce her into the story and show how dangerous she is, just like Quan. But I also like the idea of a good guy helping kill Cairo, as a wake up call. There's no reason you can't have a few people kill Cairo, though. If there's a vote for Juliet and Zane to kill him... or torture... then there could also be a good guy involved. Maybe if Cairo did something (like tell the police some information that rattled Quan's cage). Or Zane and Juliet were 'hired' by Quan to kill Cairo, and Cairo had previously offended one of the good guys so either Zane or Juliet 'invites' them along for the little revenge spree (except, of course, the good guy has aboslutely no idea they were planning to kill Cairo). I dunno. Like that idea because it has room for Quan's sis to jump in at some point and show she's on the good side. Quan's Sis Good names, we still need someone to help with the character if they wish (Darren offered so if you still want to give a hand that'd be awesome). As for a name, I was actually thinking Tori on the way home from buying new rocks today... yes, I do think about you all when I'm out shopping for £135 boots =) Am posting now anyway.

Congratulations on the rest of the winners and good job this year, Shy. Same for the people who made these awesome graphics, because that goat is the sexiest goat I've ever seen. No joke, I love it. Who did it? =D Wah-hey!
20. W00t new chaptaaaar. Alrighties. Two chapters ago, there was Memento Mori, the title being in Latin. This time, it's Aequitas, also Latin. You all remember what I said... we met Quan in Memento Mori... I said the good guys get an advantage next time round. There will be a death this chapter, Cairo, M.Ali's character. I'm sure we can plan it again, if you like, because I'm out of ideas. C'mon folks, get yer thinking hats back on, I'm letting you all plan another death. And since I created Quan for the bad guys it's only fair to let the good guys have complete control over his 'sister'. All you need to note is that she is his opposite, Oculus Dexter, and her name would have to be short like his. Maybe one of you playing the good guys would like to step forward to give a hand with the character? Only one, unfortunately, since I'll have to tell you somethings about her and the storyline which might spoil it for everyone else. S'all fer now, have fun!

?So far, the authorities cannot find any clues as to the destruction of the Harlem Academy. Ruthless vandalism has been considered, though many believe there were gun shots shortly before. The Academy had recently been bought, although not made in a public announcement, by Therius Quan, who is refusing to give any statements?? She switched off the TV, waving her hand over the remote and not even touching the buttons. It was too dark to see her expression in the room; although the man beside her looked nervous enough to know she wasn?t happy at all. Still, she looked over at him, folded her arms, making him even more uncomfortable. ?Why does he have everything everywhere?? asked the nervous man, touching a hand to his sideburns and glancing around the badly lit room. ?My brother is a genius. It?s not my fault your economy is easy to take advantage of, either.? ?Was only askin??? She grinned, you could see that, as it was bright enough. ?Was only sayin?? beside, you should be with Dani. You promised him, remember?? Dave looked nervous again. ?You?re keeping me here, remember?? Another grin. ?Yeah, yeah I know. Sorry.? She stood up gracefully, still in shadow, and walked past Dave. He was far too tall, she only reached up to his chest and as she passed him she patted him on the shoulder as a friendly gesture, even though all the time she was thinking deeply. ?We need to even things out. This isn?t doing any justice, letting my brother run around and corrupt the New Generation. These new Zodiacs are far different from the rest, I?ve never seen some many screwed up ones?? Dave rolled his eyes ? Dani was still his friend. ?Quan?s going to have them all kill each other. We keep these dudes alive - ? ?Dudes?? ? ? Whatever. We keep these ones alive then we can stop this entire thing. They can?t kill Quan by themselves, once Quan?s gone we won?t be walkin? round in circles anymore. We get one good, hard group of heroes, we keep them. Quan?s been killin? ?em off for years ? has to stop.? Dave smiled, laughed a little. ?You?re goin? to do that, right?? ?Naw, just lend a hand, is all.? Wow ? what a mess. Dani felt bad for helping burning the building down? he stood there with his hands in his trench coat pockets, frowning at the firemen still watering down the building and clearing out the crap that had collapsed with the building. It was a shame for all those artefacts, as well. He shook his head wearily and shrugged his coat on his shoulders properly. He walked away from the mess, into the water that was flowing from the building onto the sidewalk and began his search for Quan again. That man was in so much trouble? though Dani doubted he could hurt him, he was still going to scream in his face. He began to wonder when things would get back to normal. Normal for him, that is. He wasn?t too keen on doing jobs for Quan anymore, he wasn?t too keen on starting fights with Charles? wasn?t too keen on his powers anymore. A few years ago, when Dani gained his powers, he couldn?t care less. There were times when he was glad, times when he was devilishly arrogant about it? now he was just afraid. What was going to happen to them all? One of them had already died. He remembered that? he was only just beginning to feel sympathy for the girl. ?Come on, Quan, I know you?re around? come out and let?s sort this thing out.? He murmured when he was behind the building. He didn?t expect a reply, of course, though he was still annoyed when he didn?t get one. ?Come ?ere you coward!? He growled, frustrated, and smashed his hand into the brick wall. His knuckles weren?t strong enough to withstand rocks, they buckled and split yet he kept his hand pressed against the bricks. When he felt the blood drip between his fingers, he sighed, resting his head against the wall. Whatever was going to happen to them all was probably already happening to him?
22. I was glad fer the nomination, too. Very glad indeed. I felt loved =D I'm going to start a new chapter soon, hopefully move us along. Let's find our characters something interesting to do, eh folks? I'l get a new chapter up as soon as I can, shouldn't be too pressed though, have no school for about a week. I'm sure I can make room for planning a new chapter between the parties ^_~ there's lot'sa birthdays this week.
23. We're Manchester Scum! That's a real job, you know. Do you have a job? If so, where and what do you do? If not, where would you want to work? (Feel free to answer both questions in the bold if you'd like). We're Manchester Scum! It's a real life occupation but only here in Manchester. We do nothing with our lives, we're not even hobos. We pretend we smoke un-lit cigarettes, who carry around plastic chains, big sticks and run around in gangs with 20 year olds. We get paid for this, too. Sometimes if we see 15 year old kids waiting at a bus stop, we show off our skills and steal their money, mobile phones, and bruise the entire right side of their faces for the fun of it. If we're lucky, we get £2.50 per job! It's amazing, and the police really can't be bothered dealing with street attacks anymore, so we get away with it all the time! I like to think of it as self-employment. I mean, nobody wants us to work for them. We'd still their cigarettes and pretend we smoke, or steal the money from their business. We can't help it, we're scum. We have nothing better to do with our lives. I don't ever want another job, well even if I did I can't get one. Nobody wants us. It's so depressing it might turn me emo... except if I did that, I risk looking 15 and getting beat up by my homies. It's a great job. You should try it sometime! If you were an assistant of Donald Trump, what would your job be? (If you don't know who Donald Trump is, look him up. I guarantee he's at least on Wikipedia). We scum bag wouldn't be much. We'd probably just end up being the window cleaner for his window cleaner. How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? If I had gone to school instead of spending my time on street corners, I might know what you were on about.
For those of you who don't know, I'm kidding. I do not smoke, I do not walk around with that hat on or take my sword outside. I had some great shots of me for this round, but they looked awful because of that big bruise on my face. On Thursday, we got attacked by a bunch of 20 odd year old lads thinking they were great. They were carrying around un lit cigarettes, empty alcohol bottles (WKD, for the record), had plastic chains wrapped over their knuckles and, basically, thought they were bad to beat us up. Broke my glasses as well and gave me that nasty bruise.

I'm very upset they ****** up the pictures I had, they were actually great. I decided to be a jerk and mock them. They don't have jobs (we see people from their little group every day hanging around the streets), they get along by robbing people with plastic chains. They pretend to smoke and pretend their alcoholics to get in with their 'gangster' crowd. They have no respect. They have a crap life style. But, that's their career, isn't it? You can't say being a 'MANCHESTER SCUMBAG' is not a career now.

OOC: Bah, bad post, I have no glasses and can?t see so this is the best I can do =( --------------- Dani sighed and waved his hand at Juliet trying to think of what to say. Juliet was probably right, anyway. Dani wasn?t sulking; he just didn?t want Charles in his house. Whether Quan ordered it or not, it was still Dani?s house, Dani?s property and therefore Dani?s decision. He was sure Quan wouldn?t be happy with that fact, though. ?I think I?ll have to find Quan and sort this out?? Dani muttered finally. ?Sure that?s a good idea?? ?Well it?s the only idea I?ve got!? Dani stood up from his bed and rummaged around for a jacket. ?Even if I didn?t hate his guts an? want ta see him dead, he?s rude, he?s stupid, he?s just plain annoying. Quan?s been blackmailin? us, why can?t we blackmail him?? Even though he had his back turned Dani was sure Juliet had rolled her eyes. Dani, on the other, felt he was onto something here. They were all getting pushed around by a man who had just suddenly appeared out of nowhere, if he knew that Dani would let anything pass there was no telling what sort of tricks Quan would pull next. When he remembered his jacket was downstairs, Dani made his way down there, still talking to Juliet behind him. ?If it?s not too much trouble, you wouldn?t mind stayin? here to keep an eye on Charlie-boy while I?ma gone tryin? to find Quan, would you?? he asked over his shoulder. ?I won?t be that long.? ?I still don?t think it?s a good idea.? ?I?m dealing with the situation like a man!? ?What, storming out onto the streets looking for one person out of a thousand because you can?t get your own way?? ?Yeah, what?s yer point?? Dani jumped down the last few stairs and stormed into the kitchen looking for his jacket, Juliet still behind him. When he couldn?t find it in the kitchen, he came into the living room, almost walking into Charles who looked like he was? cleaning?. ?What the hell?? Dani stopped, a bewildered look on his face. ?What?re you doin??? Charles threw the towel he had aside. ?Nothin?!? Dani shook his head at the man and stepped around him to get his trench coat. As long as Charles wasn?t moving around his stuff and stealing anything, he was fine. Although if Charles was cleaning it would have been rather entertaining. ?I?ll be back before you know it, please, keep an eye on him, won?t you?? Dani said to Juliet, indicating to Charles who was still on the floor. Charles cast Dani a scowl, which Dani shook his head to again and walked out.
25. I think I see the connection between those that know martial arts and those who don't get their faces beat in. Except last time I was at Tae Kwon Do, I couldn't stand it because the folks intimidated me... anyone know any ideas for me besides learning martial arts to defend myself a bit better? Reason I asked was because we actually got attacked today. When you hear 'racist attack' you don't think it'd be the other way round. Partly my fault, they were threatening my friend and I stepped in between them and told him to back off. The dude said "Nah I ain't hittin' no girl!" then slugged me in the face. Then he proceeded to smack my other friend (who's a girl) in the face, get the rest of his stupid gang to threaten my other friends. Then I was on the floor, he asked everyone "Why aren't you helping her?" I kicked me in the face. Got helped by people in a Church, though, how awesome is that? =p I was not very pleased simply because, unlike the other times, they acted superior. They had followed us all the way from the Arndale, where they were actually hurling abuse at us and slammed into us walking past. All the other times people wouldn't stand over someone on the floor, kick them in the face and ask why nobody was helping me. All the other times no one acted like they were better. Add one more to my list, then. More annoyed that they broke my glasses because I was walking around town holding the broken lenses up to my eyes everytime I wanted to see. So does anyone actually know (other than taking martial arts) a way I could [strike]beat people senseless to they think they're not the top ****** dog anymore picking on 15 year olds and slugging them in the face[/strike] defend myself? Not to take the thread off track, like, just send me a message or something. Thought this was the best place to ask being most of you are martial artists.
