How many fights have you been in? How many fights have you seen?
Vicky replied to Mythologicly's topic in General Discussion
Aaah, fights. I have never started a single fight in my life. I'd never try and fight someone. But if anyone is familiar with chavs (wiki it), then put it this way; chavs do not like me or my friends. I will never even speak to anyone on the street, even if they yell abuse (which we sometimes get often) I won't do anything at all. Until they 'start' on us. I have a very bad habit of telling people to back off. I'm incredibly short for my age, so people think they can push me around. They'll hurl abuse at the older, bigger kids but they only ever actually try to hit me or anyone who's with me at the time. So yes, I have been in fights. Several. Most of the time I've been beaten up because there are a lot of them. In fact, two weeks ago myself and my friend got mugged walking back to the bus stop. There were seven of them, or around that many, and two of us. They asked for my friend's money and phone, he said no, they got angry. All I did was tell them to leave him alone and pushed one of them away, then I got hit and ended up in a bit of a fight. Pretty much, I got my head kicked in. They were at least 18. I'm 15 and not even 5 foot tall. Besides that incident, I've been in a lot of fights because I simply don't lay down and let people hit me. Anyone heard of happy slap? I'm sure you have. Everytime that happens, I'll hit them back twice as hard. And get in a fight on the street because of it. But, really, it's spur of the moment. I get angry and just go at them. I'll have seen as many fights as I've been in. I won't actually stand around if my friends are being attacked, I'd rather get my head beat in then theirs, and I'll run away from strangers fighting. I don't tend to watch any other fights unless they're on movies. I'm not actually lying here at all. Manchester is pretty violent nowadays, it doesn't help that I have a big mouth and an attitude when people yell at me across the street. I'd say I've been in around 15 or so street fights, most of them ending in me on the floor, lol. Some of them aren't really fights, about 5 or so were real, real fights and involved several of my friends. I'm proud to say I've never had a school fight to my name =) At least I have that to be proud of, heh. I won't say fighting is 'manly', or that I'm proud of the fact I've been attacked more times than the average adult. I'm not proud at all. Maybe if I shut up and let them call us - oh, and spit on my friend's hair - then I won't be hit so many times walking home. I ain't proud of it at all. But, I don't exactly start it, just bring it upon myself really. -
Just dropping by. School. Is. A. ******. Up. Piece. Of. ****. Excuse the language. Basically, the RPG is slowing down way too much. I, like a lot of us, haven't been able to post. I will try and post tomorrow, but I think we need to have a vote. Well, not a vote, just a head count. Whoever is still interested in the RPG, post here. Even if you're interested in the RPG but can't post, it's fine, still say here. I might consider remaking this one day... because frankly, it's been awesome. But it's not over yet! Just dropping in, that's all. Oh, and Darren -- congrats, mate! Well not about MySpace, I mean the manager in LA! ...Can I have your autograph? =p Haha, nah dude seriously, that's awesome! Bit late yeah, but all the same, I be very very glad fer ya =D

OOC: School?s a bitch, ain?t it folks? But we must keep this game alive! ?Seriously, I have nothing to live for except the knowledge that this RPG is bloody awesome thanks to you all *bows* --------- Dani?s was staring at Charles, his jaw hanging open for so long that it was probably going to unhook itself and fall right off. Charles was in his house, sat on his couch, puffing smoke into his living room. Or at least he was beforehand. And Quan. Quan. If Dani ever heard that freakish name again he was going to kill something. ?Quan doesn?t own my house!? Dani shouted, throwing the cigarette back at Charles. ?And you?re not living here! Get outta my house!? Charles shrugged, putting his feet up. ?I ain?t movin?.? Dani?s jaw locked itself and his hands began to shake in anger. He did not appreciate Charles in his home! The punk himself seemed pretty smug, despite Dani?s overwhelming urge to grab the bastard by the neck and knock him all the way back onto the streets, he resisted the temptation and, instead, snatched up Charles? things. ?Hey! That?s mine!? Charles shot up from the couch and followed Dani, but Dani had no intentions of stopping. The backdoor, located in the kitchen, was always open. Even without having to unlock it Dani struggled to open the door with Charles? belongings in his hands, which was probably quite amusing to both Juliet and Charles. Wasn?t quite as amusing for Charles when Dani actually opened the door. Immediately he flung Charles? things out, into the muddy grass. Dani didn?t even give one thought to the look on Charles? face, nor one thought to how Juliet was feeling about the two men who could quite possibly kill each other. He slammed the door behind him and pushed past Charles and Juliet towards the front door. Dani wasn?t staying in the same house as Charles, if that meant it was his house, so be it. ?Dani, where are you going?? Juliet caught his arm just before he had walked out the door. ?I ain?t stayin? near that thing!? Dani snarled, pointing at Charles viciously. ?I can?t believe this! I?m fine with people stayin? at my house an? all, but not animals! This ain?t a zoo! I don?t even think he?d be welcome in a zoo anyway!? Charles rolled his eyes. ?So you?d rather leave him here with your stuff?? Damn. Juliet had Dani stuck there. Dani didn?t want Charles in his house, didn?t want him alone in his house, either. It was a tough choice. The next time Dani saw Quan he was going to kill him ? eat him alive perhaps, just so long as the man suffered. Dani did not enjoy being tortured. ?Fine! I?ll be in my room!? He felt good storming off up the stairs like a little kid, to be honest?

Click here to see a bigger picture of me looking like an idiot [note: image may change on Saturday, sorry] I'm afraid there is a story behind this that must be told. We were in the park, after school, I had a hat, a stick, and I was still in my school uniform. We decided to abuse the digital camera. I'm not sure if this is an action shot, but I love the fact I look like a man. Yes. It's funny. And if it helps with the action-ness, five seconds after the shot I moved, lost my footing and fell out of the tree... and landed in a dodgy position. ---------- If you could combine two animals, what would they be, and why? A goat (you saw that coming) and a swan. Swans are beautiful creatures, if not a bit vicious when I try to chase them in the park, and they're really awesome at flying. I know that sounds stupid, but they are. Goats are just awesome.Just imagine a giant bird with a goat's horns, head and hooves... you'd be a little freaked out, but if you give that creature a space suit, what do you get? A Space Goat! Well, almost. If you had to film an action movie, what location in the world would you think would suit the most exciting action scene ever? (In other words, where would you film it?) Pompeii. I'd say Ancient Rome, but I doubt that'll count. How about Pompeii (is it two I's or just one?) at the night? If you're filming a movie set in the past, there's no need to edit the set, it's already old and epic. People just fell down and died there in the ash... how cool would it be if, in your movie, the main character crashes to the floor on the rock solid dead body of the town baker? That'd be awesome! There's lots of buildings to jump off, lots of stones to smash your sword through, it's like a big maze! Let's say you ruled a country. Whether your economy prospers or not is up to you. In otherwords, you can be a harsh ruler to your people or a kind one. But what of food? Do you vary in vegetation and agriculture? Do you have a large marketing system? Perhaps some world wide food industries were founded in your nation. The question is, how do you run your country's food situation following those guidelines? This takes more thought, folks. You can choose to make your food of plenty or not. What's it going to be? We wouldn't import much food, probably just technology for our own food. People would be free to grow whatever they like, bearing in mind they'll have to feed themselves, sort of like an entire nation of farmers. But it wouldn't be a 'farm country', it would be like a city with farms surrounding it, and people came into the city to trade their specially grown food and whatnot. Obviously, there would need to be money to build a city, and if there aren't many imports nor exports outside my country, then how would I accomplish such a thing? Pepsi fountain. I don't know, maybe I'm being a little too random here. Tourist would come from all over the world to see my country's supply of Pepsi, which goes through pipes to each farmer's house and comes out of a special pepsi tap. The fountain would be refilled every day, of course. Whenever we're running low on money for my people, I'll simply not refill the fountain and let it rain. Then people are still drinking Pepsi, but it's watered down Pepsi, JUST LIKE MCDONALDS DO EVERY MORNING! So, you see, farmers won't have to spend their time milking cows to have a drink, just use their Pepsi tap and concentrate on growing and selling their products in the city. Tourists will provide the money to run my country! (Hey, it was a good idea in my head >_>;; )

Hope all goes/went well Darren ^_~ I'm waiting on either Reve or Ozy to post... perhaps things are getting a bit too hectic in real life out there? Hope we can speed the game up agaon soon =(

*Points to OtaKuties thread* I play drums, lots. At one point I had a band, wasn't a very good one mind you, there were three of us. My mate wants to get this band back together, I personally don't think it would work (our music tastes are incredibly different). I also play a bit of guitar but I'm rather **** at it. My hands aren't made for guitars and I'm just too stubborn to give up ;_; I've never actually recorded any of my stuff but I intend to a some point. Maybe a video if I can find the camera again... whether I'll post it or not is another story, heh. Be interestin' to hear about everyone else and their musical-ness as well, though =p

The voice outside his door made Dani freeze, he didn?t answer because of that. A familiar voice, he was sure he knew it, far too sure, and far too uncomfortable because of it. He stepped back when the person ? rude as they were ? had opened the door themselves. Dani hid the gun behind his back, grabbed onto the door and flung it out of the other?s hands. To be fair, Dani was expecting to see someone like Charles stood at his door. That didn?t make the expression on Dani?s face any less priceless, though. It was an mixture of confusion, anger, hung-over laziness and almost mimicked Charles?. Dani?s first thoughts were something along the lines of ?why?. Why was everything going completely out of hand? He had shot this man recently, and now here he was at his door. That was bad. Dani, of course, would not apologise, in fact he was sure he still didn?t like Charles. He was also sure Charles? intentions were bad so he held onto the gun even tighter. Not that Dani felt as though he needed the gun nowadays, anyway. ?What are you doin? ?ere?? Charles asked, more than a hint of bitterness in his voice. ?I live here!? Dani shouted, throwing his arms up in the air like Charles was an idiot. ?Get off my fuckin? property!? he shouted again, stepping forward and shoving Charles with his palms as hard as he could, unaware the punk was actually carrying a knife. ?Hey ?HEY!? Whilst Dani was in the middle of pushing Charles fericly out of his door ? gun still in hand ? Charles seemed to have the right idea. He swung around at Dani, catching Dani?s jaw with his knuckles and effectively throwing Dani back enough to stop him pushing. Dani tripped back into his door way and landed on his back? quite embarrassing, actually. He groaned heavily? when exactly was he going to learn that Charles was always likely to turn around and smack him in the face for being violent? He sighed again, especially at the sight (an up-side down sight) of Juliet in his kitchen. At least his life was mildly entertaining.

We still have another test. Oh fookin' joy. Friday, I will post, as intended tonight but I got home far too late. Sorry folks, I'm trying not to let stuff slow me down. But my life is a stubborn ***** =( I'll postas soon as I'm home tomorrow.

The worst part of drinking was waking up in the morning, although really Dani loved waking up, feeling ill and going back to sleep. It made him feel better about being lazy. This morning, however, he awoke slowly, wincing in pain from a headache and wondering why he so damn heavy. Overnight obesity did not sound like a good idea. He yawned sleepily, looked down at his chest. For a moment he wasn?t entirely sure what he was looking at, then his eyes widened when he noticed it was Juliet. He looked across the couch; both of them were under his jacket, Juliet resting on his chest. He then noticed the bottles of alcohol on the coffee table, empty. Oh, this wasn?t good. Dani bit his lip and sighed. Although he had to admit it wasn?t uncomfortable having someone asleep on him ? someone like Juliet, he supposed ? he was sure she wouldn?t be too happy. He sat up slowly, lifted her head up and winced as he did so. Almost knocking a bottle off, he managed to slip away and lay her head back down on the couch, without actually waking her. He mouthed a string of swear words and backed away, tip-toeing like he?d just disturbed a grey hound. Dani walked into the kitchen still tiptoeing and swearing. He remembered everything last night? or maybe he was sober at that point and more stuff happened. He swore again when thinking of that. Then he decided the hang over was making me want to throw up and proceeded to run up the stairs. He had his hand on the banister and was about to jump up the stairs until he noticed something in the window of his door. A silhouette. He narrowed his eyes, sneered. If it was Quan, he?d fuck him up, for being so annoying and omni present. If it were anyone else, he?d just? well, he might as well fuck them up as well, he guessed. Maybe it was his friend who promised to come round? No, wasn?t going to take that chance. Crazy stuff had been happening lately, far too crazy. Dani sneered again, concluding that Dave wouldn?t be stood on the porch like an idiot. Just to be safe, Dani took up the gun Quan had given him and the bullets. Dani had far too many thoughts in his head to care about the risk of anything right now.
Relevant stuff: Do we just make our way to the house and start describing it ourselves or do you want to do that?
Well, you guys will be living in it, so it's up to you. Maybe you can have a little talk amongst yourself or something about it, though I'm sure the description wouldn't be too big an issue. Personally I'd go for the 'creepy old big huge mansion falling apart omfg dodgy left over books and items still there' ... feel... or look >_> Up to you guys. (And so far my GCSEs are most important, might not be doing A level stuff... long story, heh)

Well I'm glad everyone likes the new chapter, heh. My posting might be somewhat short and a little less during the next week, we were told we have a REAL GCSE exam on Tuesday and Friday for Science (real meaning real real real deal, GCSE meaning the most important exam in my life). They told us a week before an exam so important as this and now I have to catch up on six months of work >_< See, kids, always listen in class. You never know when you'll have an exam shoved in your face that'll determine what jobs you can and cannot get. So that's all I wanted to say, really. Feel free to murder my science teacher(s). Actually, please do. Just to make me smile in the exam hall.
Okay I posted... But then I came up with a question. What mansion are we talking about exactly? I know that Eden lives with her grandfather in a mansion so I just assumed that was what you were talking about, but now I know better. So, which one is it, because I kinda just wasted creative juices on leading back to Eden if that's not even where we'll be staying....
Nup, the house the good guys'll be staying in will be a new house that no one's been in. I'll help introduce it in awhile, if you like.
Oh, and one more thing: Obviously Quan is the bad guy right now. He's kinda drawing everyone where he needs them to be. He's knowledgeable in everything that he needs to be. But where's the good guy? They guy that's there for sort of informing everyone and helping them to get settled in?
Here's a clue: if Quan's Oculus Sinister, the left eye... well, you know. Basically, there will be a good guy, soon. He won't be present in these two chapters, look out for any chapters in Latin (Quan was introduced in Memento Mori, remember). How you are moved out of your own home and how you find the new home is up to you, Quan is there as a way to help, if you want. He's very smart like we know, so he could easily get you all evicted... and just as easily convince you to live with the others.
EDIT: I saw in your post of the surprise that you didn't include Cairo and his place to stay... So does that mean that we're finding someone else, again??? :animeangr That sucks! Now, I'm gonna go bash Saggitarius on the "your zodiac" thread. hehehe
Actually, this time around I don't think we'll be finding a replacement. There's not much point if we keep introducing new people, heh, I think we can get along good with our cast right now.
*thinks of something clever to say to get on Tekka's nerves and the skips off towards the thread*
Yeah, you know, Capricorns rock ^_~ I know it's a problem for those who live with other people as Only said, but that's the beauty of it all, buwahaha. You have to do anything to get out of the home you're currently in, hehee. I feel like I'm cheating for having Dani stay in his house, but really, he has to put up with Charles and Juliet. Isn't that punishment enough?! Ha. =p

Thanks again to Ozy for the Banner Dani was smiling when Juliet had looked him in the eye. Having someone not hate you was a good feeling, maybe his powers would do some good. He promised he wouldn?t hurt Juliet, and he wouldn?t, now all he needed to do was show her. He swallowed and closed his eyes for a moment, concentrating. He was trying to think of something he could make Juliet do, something simple, something to prove. ?It?s gettin? late, you know. I dun think you wanna be walking home at this time,? he whispered. ?You should stay here.? It was a suggestion that acted like a command, and Juliet nodded, smiling slightly. At that moment Dani decided that, due to the conversations he had with Juliet in one night, perhaps she?d let him find more out about her. Not like the prison, not like Dani trying to force anything or trying to hurt her. It was safe this time and Dani didn?t want to hurt anyone. He closed his eyes and the maze he saw in his eyelids reminded him of Juliet, like it was her mind. To him it was and it all made sense. It was different from the jail, not as confusing, somewhat like the Garden of Eden complete with snakes? maybe that was because the whole ?Garden? thing had been praying on Dani?s mind lately. Snakes mixed into a maze like they were protecting something? he opened his eyes at that, slightly nervous, but closed them again. Then there was something else, something like a door that stood out from everything else. At the very sight and thought of it he got the impression that Juliet was uncomfortable; she drew in a breath and gulped. Dani opened his eyes and looked at her. ?If you don?t want me to know something, just say the word.? Dani said. ?Don?t.? Dani nodded and decided to leave anything that was hidden behind a door alone unless she said otherwise. He was determined to actually be a nice person and not hurt her, as he promised. Yet he also wanted to show off, show off how good he actually was at this. He stared at her eyes, not breaking contact, and moved closer so he could look deeper. ?I am all that you see, I am all that you want me to be.? He said, laughing a little bit knowing full well those were lyrics from a song. Juliet laughed, too, like she understood the joke as much as Dani did. He raised his other hand up to the side of her face and traced his fingers down to her neck, not once breaking eye contact or mental contact. So far, so good. He took a deep breath and decided something, tilting his head slightly. Dani stopped wide eyed. An image flashed in his mind of a woman, when he had first used his powers and made her hurt herself. He froze completely, fully aware Juliet might have actually seen that. Even when he tried to forget about it another image crept up when he had hurt his friends, by accident or not. It had been every single time ? what was to say tonight was no different? At that thought he broke all contact with Juliet and backed away, swallowing and looking at her apologetically. He suddenly looked sorry for himself, a kid who?d just been caught with his hand in the cookie jar only so much more painful. Dani buried his head in his hands, mumbled a few words. ?I?m sorry.? ------------ OOC: I wanted to do more, but it?s far too late and stuff, heh. I?ll try and move on next time folks ^_~

Sure thing, s'okay Ezekiel. Okay, moving onto the new chapter. People therefore would need to wrap up their Christmas stories... mostly me... and Reve XD And I think it's time to reveal the name and game of this chapter, though it may be short. As I said, there's no getting out of this, one way or another it has to happen. Just thought I'd inform everyone beforehand, you see. So the big surprise is... You're all getting kicked out of your homes. Well, you characters. And, you'll be forced to live with either 1) the 'good guys' in a rather large mansion-type home or 2) the 'bad guys' at Dani's house. So far, we've got a good list. Mansion Eddie [Only] Dorian [Vertias] Brian [Darren] Beth [Ezekiel] Moses [StarrStruck] Eden [Eclipse] Dani's House Charles [Ozy] Dani [Me, duh] Zane [Ikillion] Juliet [Revelation] Note: Prince Van and Lady A both have a choice of their place to stay, partly because I haven't had chance to figure out a place. However, Dani would only have room for one more person so whoever gets their voice heard first gets their character's place. Quan, being a business-type-ish man, is going to be used for the evictions. Some way or another each of you will have to find a way for your character to be thrown out of their homes and you will be offered a place to stay, by Quan or by finding it yourself, with the other Zodiacs. Like I said, you can expand on the way you'll all live in the next chapter as it will be a short chapter this time round. By doing this, they'll be no more running into characters and you'll all be forced to interact more =) Love me or hate me for it, folks, I reckon it's gunna be fun as hell, nuh? EDIT: Forget to add, Ozy helped with the idea too ^_~ give her thanks as well

Due to the fact I have broke my digital camera I had to rely on a mobile phone so the image isn't as good as I'd hope. I didn't really want to miss a round either, lol. What's your favourite hobby? Annoying people. Well, it's part of my hobby. For a few years I've played the drums and they're a very loud instrument; the people walking past the cabin where my drums are located are guaranteed to give me house weird and annoyed looks. Although I have far bigger hobbies, like my writing, drums are the most interesting. Drums have a reputation for being loud, just 'banging' and talentless noise. However, the beauty about playing drums is proving people wrong. It doesn't have to be loud and it most certainly isn't talentless, there's more to them than playing a straight beat and creativity on an instrument with such a bad reputation makes it sound a whole lot better. I was never that interested in my drumming to even mention it to anyone I didn't know, but then I realised it's sorta like me. I have a bad reputation because of my brother, and due to that I get very aggressive when trying to defend my name which makes things worse. When people actually get to know me, they'd soon figure I'm not as bad as my reputation led everyone to believe. Just like drums =D What do you think your best personality trait would be? I have lot'sa personality traits that people think are my best (generous, [strike]stupid[/strike] funny, shameless antics .ect) but there's only one I'd agree with: truthful. After some explanation, my friend told me that as well as being honest I'm also who I say I am. I'd have to agree. At no point will I act any different from who I am to impress others, at no point will I stop entertaining my friends so I don't look as stupid and at no point will I lie about my friends, who I am, or saying anything that I don't think is true. I'm true to myself and my friends, apparently that truthfulness is funny, too. I'm constantly making jokes and random comments which are funny and it's also my opinion. It's a two in one trait, funny-truthful-opinions.

Let's Abolish Profanity in Adventure Square/Reform thread
Vicky replied to Charles's topic in Help & Feedback
Although I'm not up for writing a huge post about why I disagreeing, I'll just state that I don't really agree with the idea. Shoot me for it, if you want, I just don't think it would work. Put it simply, I think it's going a bit too far. I'm happy with the way things are and I agree with the fact that the M ratings need to calm down a bit, I don't agree with putting RPGs with stories and games. RPGs are very popular, people will be playing the RPGs and in time there might not be any stories, or comments in those stories because of the vast amount of RPGs. Remember that Battle forum or... whatever title it went under? It's gone, and it was a good job. But posting Spars in the Arena don't feel right at all. I've only started one myself to date, and it really felt wrong. Bad argument, I know, but RPGs would kill out Story threads and... you know... I just don't see the 'new' forum looking any better. The ratings need to be fixed, sure. I just, personally, don't think there is any need at all to recreate the entire Arena. And if you do go through with this... recreation... then at least don't do it too soon, I'm sure it'll end up confusing half the community that posts there. -
Adofo stalked forward towards Charles ? plain name even for a human ? grinning at the human?s growling. Adofo?s grin grew bigger when Charles had backed into a tree, now at Adofo?s. Though, it seemed strange; Adofo was convinced this Charles would put up a good fight. In fact, he already had done. That was already a great victory in Adofo?s books. Except Adofo would kill him anyway. The demon swung his fist at Charles and the tree, putting all his force into the one punch. Charles ducked; Adofo?s arm crashed into the tree and snapped the weak wood a part. The broken tree was sent flying to the ground, narrowly missing or perhaps catching Charles? head. Charles managed to avoid being hurt too much, though, much to Adofo?s dislike. ?Ya missed again, freak.? Charles snarled. ?The name is Adofo, you idiot.? Adofo retorted, turning around to face Charles. Adofo snarled at Charles and, something he didn?t do, turned his back. The demon walked over to the recently destroyed tree and went to pick it up? he?d like to see the human run away from this. ----- OOC: Sorry Ozeh for the extremely worthless post ;_; bad day, but I did promise I?d post.

Let's Abolish Profanity in Adventure Square/Reform thread
Vicky replied to Charles's topic in Help & Feedback
*Raises hand* Uh, in defence of my own RPG, I was actually going to make it a PG. It's a good job I didn't, though, as everything in the rating has, so far, been used. I know you don't mean all the RPGs up there, but still, I feel a tad paranoid about my game being on the list even if it's there just because it's on the first page >_>;; I think the reason most people have an M rating is because they're scared of their RPG going over-board and getting closed. The only reason I think that is because up until awhile ago I was always afraid that I might add a bit too much violence and the game would be closed for an improper rating. That being said, perhaps some of these threads should be changed for an improper rating (and I'm not saying the Arena staff don't do their job, either, because they clearly do. It's awkward to read the content of every single RPG when it's been posted in to make sure it's in check, isn't it?). But, you know, ratings came in not so long ago (I think), and I've gotten to actually like ratings in a thread title. I don't think abolishing the ratings would make the Arena decline again, nor do I think the constant view of 'M' rated threads makes it look tidy, either. But, eh... -
Yeah, Dani figured he knew what kind of star sign Juliet was now, especially since she was explaining it. And he was interested, too. He hadn?t zoned out once in their conversations, nor had he shot her a snide insult. Dani figured maybe he truly was a nice person when he was drunk. ?See, y?know, I don?t get why your powers are linked in with your Zodiac.? Dani said, pouting slightly. ?You use snakes. Now if I?ma not mistaken, Capricorn?s a? Earth element. My powers ain?t got nothing to do with Earth.? Juliet frowned. ?Maybe it?s different for each of us.? ?S?not fair, still. My powers are the worse, they hurt, they bring up bad memories, and they ain?t never done nothin? good fer anyone. I could try an? be nice, you know, but I ain?t never done anything nice with these powers. You guys can do? do anythin?. Can be good or bad. S?not like I have a choice.? Juliet grinned at him, laughed slightly. ?What?s wrong with being bad?? she chuckled. ?Nothin?. I just don?t like it sometimes. Everyone thinks I?ma creep, which I am a bit, though if I could be a nice, good person, I would be. I truly would be.? He took a sip of his drink again and sighed. Juliet took another drink, too, and it was only then Dani realised she was wearing the trench coat he had offered her before. ?You?re a telepath, right? There?s not reason you can?t be a good guy like them lot, saving puppies from burning buildings and? you know.? ?Not just a telepath. I can?t do it properly. My powers, I mean. S?like? it won?t work unless I?m doing something dark, somethin? disturbing, an? it all links into what I had as a kid and still got now. But it?s not just the telepath part that makes me bad, I can do other things.? He began to laugh, swirling a bit of the vodka around in its bottle. It was funny for him. Juliet had a thing about snakes and Dani, despite his denial, had actually read the bible. He was fully aware of the snake in the Garden of Eden, what it meant and how it tempted two innocents and was cursed for it. Dani slightly twitched at the thought of his life being compared with the bible though he mentioned it, anyway. ?I can make suggestions, mental suggestions, little stuff hidden in the back of your mind. I can do it to anyone, though? I don?t really like it, I guess. You know the snake, from the Garden of Eden? Like that. S?pose we?re sorta the same. I can?t do good with it, only make people fall from paradise and I?m cursed with it. Cursed by the fact I know I can?t change, cursed by the fact I know what I?ve done to people with it.? He snarled at the end of his sentence and took another long drink. When he had realised what he had said, what he was going to do, he swiftly changed the subject. ?So, see, that?s got nothin? ta do with goats or Earth elements.? Juliet narrowed her eyes at Dani fully aware that he was trying to turn the conversation away from the nature of his powers. She grinned slightly at him, Dani saw her grinning and frowned. ?I don?t think you?ve told me about this little add on power of yours.? She said, folding her arms, still grinning. ?Ain?t an ?add on?, it just somethin? else I can do.? Dani said through a mouthful of alcohol. ?But you can?t do it properly?? He picked up on the tone of her voice but couldn?t understand what she was trying to do. She was either trying to get to him or trying to get him to talk about it. Dani suddenly came to wonder why Juliet wanted to know about his powers, exactly, and why it was important. He had to admit he was slightly annoyed that she didn?t believe he knew how to use his powers. Okay, he couldn?t control them, but he was pretty sure he had the whole ?serpent of desire? thing down. ?You?ve been drinking, I doubt you?re the icon of control right now, an? strictly speaking, I could make you do anything I wanted.? Dani said, slamming his bottle on the table with a hint of bitterness in his voice. ?Now, I?m sure you?d be wise to believe me.? ?I thought you wanted to be nice.? Juliet smirked, again. Dani narrowed his eyes at her, he did not appreciate the comment though he was determined to prove his point. He was a nice guy, somewhere he was. He leaned forward to Juliet, indicating for her to come closer, as if he was going to tell her a secret. She looked sceptical, but then Dani guessed the vast amount of alcohol convinced her otherwise. Instead of pretending to whisper something, Dani went to touch the side of Juliet?s face, which caused her to draw back. Dani laughed. ?I won?t hurt you. I?m a nice guy.? He said, smiling. Not a smirk, not a grin, just a smile, which was actually different for him. ?Let me show you. I promise I won?t hurt you.? He held up his hands defensively and smirked at Juliet. ?Besides, you can kill me with those snakes, can?t ya?? Juliet considered for a moment, probably trying to predict what he would do. It must have been hard, Dani had become known among the others for being a creep and a bit evil, yet now he was actually showing a different side. Dani himself was convinced it was the alcohol, he was who he was, whether it be evil or not. And whether he could only use his powers for being evil would be determined soon. He smiled again when Juliet rolled her eyes and let Dani brush his hands down the side of her face. He stopped at the side of her eye, thumb on her jaw and his index finger on her temple. He promised himself he wasn?t going to hurt her, just prove that there was an aspect of his powers he could control, and show her what it was. ?See? I can make you do anything. Serpent of desire, Juliet.?

I love Zodiacs *points to banner and RPG* see? 1) What day is your birthday? Jan 10th 2) What is your zodiac sign? Capricorn (for the record, I'd had the nickname 'Goat' for a year or two before I realised I was even a Capricorn) 3) How does your zodiac sign describe your personality? Apparently, we're ambitious, patient, trustworthy, perfectionists, serious, cautious and conscientious. I reckon Capricorn does a good job of describing my personality, although I most certainly don't have that 'businesslike' quality the sign is known for. As for the negatives, I'm stubborn, domineering (slightly) and fatalistic, which apparently are a Capricorn's trait. But, really, I'm a nice person. 4) Does the description of your zodiac actually describe you? Why? Symbol = Goat. There's actually some people I know who don't know my real name, heh, so yeah it does describe me a little (except, as I've stated, the business part. I absolutely despise businesses). I suppose it does describe me somewhat, especially the ambitious part and at one point Capricorn's are described for climbing mountains (trait of a Goat), which I have done, lol. Real mountains and mental mountains, I'll climb it if it's in my way, I really have nothing to lose. 5) How does your zodiac sign PWN over the rest? It's a goat. Of course it does. I could go into my rant about how goats are as cool as I say, but I won't. Instead, think of this; Capricorn is associated with the Greek myth of a nanny goat who provided Zeus with milk as a baby. Zeus is a huge deal in mythology and religion, hell even the Christian God looks like Zeus. Goats are overlooked for their position and part in ancient legends, and you know what, I'm overlooked sometimes (which I don't care, to be honest), so that's something else I have in common with my sign, I guess. *points to banner again* I like Zodiacs. EDIT: Zomg, 'Zeke is a Capricorn too =O? Buwaha, us Capricorn's are just so cool, you know =D

Nine minutes ago it was a New Year over here... so... yeah, Happy New Year folks (the fireworks in London are awesome, too! I wish I was in London, but for now I'll watch them on TV, lol). Honestly, 2006 was boring. I got some new drums, new room, loads of stuff but the year was actually boring. Even though I don't have any special plans for 2007 I'm I'm determined to make it a lot more interesting. Towards Christmas I met some new friends, started going out a lot more and staying out for a few more hours so I plan to let that continue for the rest of the new year and maybe it won't be as boring as the last, lol. Happy New Year (again), folks.

In my opinion you definitely need a mix of both. There are some older RPGs (like really, really old) where you go whatever you pleased, no control at all. They got far, but it was pure luck if you got past three or so pages. No one there to make a twist. Buuuut, like Boo said, if you want to control the whole RPG you might as well write it yourself. I sure wouldn't like writing what people say all the time. I don't really like posting orders or chapter systems, either. Right now for my current RPG, which is turning out to be pretty sucessful and fun as ****, I'd say it's a balance between both control and uncontrolled. If anything, my current RPG isn't that much controlled. I just use the underground to say where we're going with things and leave them to it. Trust my players, I do, lol. Like I said I don't like chapters, I just use them to give it a more "story feel" (no posting order, no posting limit... you know, it's more like 'event systems' where the chapter changes when a new event starts). So yeah, RPG creators should direct their RPG, not so much control it. And trust their players, too. Bleh, I guess I'm no expert, but a lot of the RPGers I'm currently RPGing with have some brilliant ideas. I've actually discarded my own ideas for the game to have their ideas in there, instead. And... so far, s'working =D
Hope I don't miss this fantabulious surprise Vicky :(
*Cracks knuckles* Hehe... it's fantastic, alrigh' *evil laugh* ...Uh, yeah. I hope you can get back soon, I wouldn't worry about missing it, the surprise will be an incredibly short chapter anywho and carry onto the next chapter so you'll have a chance to post your character's reaction to whatever I have planned, then join in the action, all in one chapter (whereas anyone who's on time gets one whole chapter to post their reactions and then move onto some action). Hope that makes some sense, heh.
