Yay! To be honest I'd want to meet you all. Some of you I'd like to hug while the rest of you I'd like the slap, or laugh at, it depends. Firstly, Jokopko. Pretty obvious, heh. He's cool anyways, and interesting to talk to (despite what many think I do find people interesting on AIM, I just tend to lack intelligent replies). He's nice as well, and funny in his own way. Everyone will comment on how people are cool, but Joko is seriously cool. When he makes a witty comment I find myself smiling or laughing out loud which I don't normally do when reading AIM logs, so that probably says something. He's a great person and I'd want to give him a hug because he's amazing =) And, how can I forget KKC, my partner in crime. Though she doesn't come online anymore KKC is an amazing RPGer in my opinion and a cool friend. I think, just speculating here, that in real life we would get on greatly and have a lot in common. She's be a cool person to hang around with. Boo! You're awesome, seriously, brilliantly awesome. You're one of the first people who talked to me as a newb and that alone means I'd love to say hi to you in real life. Since you're funny online you must be ten times funnier in real life, and I love funny people because... well, they make me laugh, obviously. I think I've known you longest out of all my friends on OB, so if there's anyone I'd like to meet most of all then you're on the top of my list. Revelation and I seem to have quite a bit in common, and it would be cool to meet up with her. Interesting to talk to (incredibly interesting) and when it's night time over here and I'm stuck doing my homework I'm glad I'll normally have someone intelligent to talk to. I'd love to speak to Revelation in real life, smart people rock and I need to say thank you in person for speaking to me at night. Oh, and since I have a lot of respect for Ozymandius Jones, I'd like to meet her as well. I dun know Ozy much, but she's a cool person and cool enough for me to want to meet and say hi to. Probably give her a hug, too =). Gavin is also someone I respect a lot and he's cool, not to mention a good RPGer like most of my OB friends. So since I find those two members cool and I respect them a lot, I'd like to meet them... though I'd probably just say hi and run off ^_^;; There's loads of people I'd like to met, like Shy or Desbreko for no other reason but to say hello, I'd even love to meet people I've never heard of on OB. But I'll leave it at that.

The market place was normally packed, Theodore was just leaving really. Though he wasn?t an arrogant player, or a veteran to the game, he didn?t really like new players too much. They were too over confident for his liking and too eager to buy new items, thus crowding the market place. It was hard to obtain new items thanks to the increasing number of new players. Sometimes, you could even recognise the older players sulking through the crowds. Although the amount of new players seemed to make things an advantage for Theodore. Not a fighter, no he didn?t like to fight hand-to-hand and lose, though he did enjoy challenging and defeating new players. Or just generally screwing about with them enough to make things entertaining. He was walking when, suddenly, a smaller figure walked into his shoulder by accident. Theodore, in all his good nature, pushed back on whoever it was hard enough to send them to the ground. He looked down at a rather young player, sat on the floor and looking quite regretful, and smiled. ?S-sorry,? he muttered. ?It?s okay.? Theodore extended his hand and helped the boy up. ?You?re new to this game, aren?t you?? he asked. ?Well? sorta.? Replied the player. ?I was just getting used to the game and ?? Theodore suddenly dragged the player aside and put his arm around him, leaning down to his height suspiciously. ?Let me show you a few secrets, it?ll help along the way.? Theodore whispered. ?Now if you want to survive I?d suggest you choose the Shadow Faction, though you probably already picked and I don?t want to brag about myself. Challenge every single person, you can probably beat them, or do what I do, surprise them and win. You?ll gain more. And, you know those GM?s?? a smile crept over Theodore?s face. ?Uhh? yeah.? ?They?re pushovers. Not as powerful as you think. Next time you see one, give him a taste of your mind and your spells. Get yourself some experience, kid, and you?ll be up there with the pro?s in no time.? Theodore wiped some dust off the kid in a caring nature, when he really was pretending. Sometimes new players weren?t as gullible, sometimes Theodore got one hell of a slap for it, though most of the time? it was fun indeed. ?Okay, thanks, I guess.? ?Now, go out there and challenge everyone. See that guy over there? That tall one selling items? He?s a newbie, I bet he?s a thief who stole those items and really don?t pose any threat. Go on, go and challenge him. He leaned closer and his smile grew. ?I?ll make sure you don?t lose.? The new player?s smile matched Theodore?s, and he ran forward, shouting out things such as ?Hey, you!? and really making an idiot of himself. Whistling, Theodore put his hands in his pockets and walked off. Soon enough he would hear fireworks, or just someone getting beaten thanks to his misleading. It was cruel, though it helped pass the time. It was also hard to find new members. Theodore remembered he once thought an old member was a new one, and they played along for awhile until they finally got fed up and gave Theodore a spell to think about. He thought about it and never talked about it again. Although he did shudder at the thought. He wasn?t one to go and pick fights so he picked on people, instead, and tried his best to fight back. And he did wish he had made some more friends. Evil friends, perhaps, who didn?t go around with that good guy attitude. Though, really, Theodore knew someone was going to kick him in place one day. Until then, he?d have as much fun as he wanted.

This is probably the first time I posted outside the Arena for sometime but? can I just say something? I wouldn?t even call myself an oldie but to those of you who are complaining about not getting enough recognition then being a moderator probably isn?t the answer. Try and manage your daily lives and try and manage a section of this forum 24/7. Apparently, that seems to be the only way to ensure the quality you want. Moderators can?t read through every post. Moderators can?t be online all the time. And, if you become a moderator and you?re an oldie, don?t you think other members will feel that?s favouritism for old members? If you?re an oldie then that should be enough. And if you?re an oldie who visits regularly, then huzzah for you. I often look at someone?s name, from a very old thread, and laugh and say I remember them, even if I haven?t been here for four years yet. Heck, I only realised I used to talk to Revelation on AIM years ago. Point is there are some oldies who don?t post anymore, or hardly do, yet you complain you don?t get the recognition you deserve? I think that, no offence to you Athena, being an oldie has made you arrogant. Your length of time on the boards shouldn?t give you more respect, rather respect should be given for what you do here. Not a lot of people probably know me, I wonder why? maybe because I never really post. A moderator status and your length of time won?t get you recognised. Alright, I do agree with parts of what you?re saying, especially giving things back to OB. It?s fine you have your own discussions about moderators and your own disagreement about your unfair treatment, though there?s probably a reason you weren?t picked as a moderator. Whether it be you?re not online as often as others or you just weren?t around at the time new moderators were being picked, I don?t know, I just think that if you?re upset for not being picked as a moderator then maybe you should realise that they don?t always get the respect and recognition they want. Members in this thread have clearly shown that moderators don?t get the respect you think, or even noticed (I?ll admit I didn?t even know half the moderators until I checked the list, which I frequently have to, so I bet I?m not the only one). I also think it was a little immature to single out moderators. I think you should try and moderator such a large section as Ozy, we?ll see how far you get. Go and do all that, stay online for 24 hours reading through all the open threads and make sure they?re right and then you can go back to your personal life? you can?t expect them to run everything and their own life. Moderators are people and they make mistakes, and they?re not perfect either. Room for improvement, yes, so maybe you shouldn?t single them out. I most certainly wouldn?t like my name appearing as a negative in a thread. Though I guess now people seem to have calmed down my point's not very valid... I reckon you can post your own opinions about a moderators performce, only if you're reasonable (not naming any names here...) Yeah and I?m proud of my crap I just wrote above. It?s probably disorganised and? just wrong in general? though I felt for once I should come out of hiding from the Arena and give my opinion. No offence attended at anyone, of course, and I wasn?t directing this to all members of MAMA (I have to admit I like the name, though).

Name: Theodore Marsters Birthdate: 10th January 1995 Gender: Male Username: Theodore Appearance: Here (Doesn't actually use the sword) Faction: Shadow Class: Wizard Weapon: The weapon he has in the picture is a sword (obviously), a very basic sword, one which he doesn't use to fight with but instead threatens people with it. Theodore isn't extremely talented at swinging a sword around, either. Known Spells: Toxic: Toxic is a dark type of illness that temporarily paralyses (ranging from blindness to not being able to move at all, depending on how much you absorb). It is transferred from the user?s hand to the opponent and although it doesn?t work instantly it is fast acting. This isn?t one of Theodore?s most advanced spells, nor one of the most ?evil? type he can use but it does help to get the job done since the effects can last for hours, again depending on how long the user keeps in contact with their opponent. It is presumed that later on this ?toxic? is capable of effecting the mind and not just the body, not just paralysis but controlling their mind, too. Summoning: Theodore isn?t a fighter, so he has the ability to summon creatures to fight for him. However, the stronger the creature the less control he has over them. If Theodore is attacked himself then this can mean that the creatures will ?go back to where they came from?, a failsafe in case a more powerful creature turns against Theodore. Fortunately, Theodore tends to only summon beasts with a medium power until he is confident enough to try for the bigger creatures. He also tends to bring back creatures he has recently seen die/killed by others, rather than the ones he killed himself (since he relies on these kind of spells to kill he doesn?t want to run out of ideas and have nothing to defend himself with). Shadow Puppet: Probably one of the Theodore?s favourite spells. He can create a life-like shadow puppet, mimicking the face of anyone he remembers. From a distance so he doesn?t get hurt himself, Theodore is able to control this puppet, to fight for him whilst he stands at a distant and lets the puppet take the hits. This is the spell?s primary function, but Theodore knows it is capable of much more. Sometimes, if a person has strong hatred or sadness for another person the shadow puppet will mimic itself to invoke an emotional response, mostly fear. Theodore prefers to create his own faces on the puppet but he does know how to create a life-like puppet to create a sense of fear and deceive. Shadow Ball: Probably one of the most basic shadow attacks. Theodore, as mentioned before, is not a fighter so he uses this spell as a means of escape mostly rather than to defend himself, sometimes he uses them from a distance as a surprise. The shadow ball can knock an enemy over or confuse them for a short period of time but if it hits the ground at a great force it will explode creating harmless black energy to obscure the opponents view for a quick get away or another surprise attack. Skill Level: Theodore has been playing the games for quite awhile, but he isn?t exactly one of the people who are constantly playing. He?s an on and off guy. He knows what he?s doing, in fact he?s very good, but if he kept up and didn?t spend so much time off the games then he could be much better. Recently, he?s been spending a lot more time on the game, and has actually become hooked. Most of his spells are either basic because they?re just not very powerful or he hasn?t had time to fully develop them, but now he?s actually spending a lot more time on the game itself he intends to master it. So, he?s not a complete newbie and it actually very good at the game, but he wasn?t the type to spend more than five nights a week on the game, until recently. Let me know if anything needs changing. I?ll edit his name from the spells (which I?m a little iffy about) when I decide my Username and I?ll upload my picture soon.

Dogarta frowned at the thought of being left on his own. Neither he nor Carthage knew how long it would take for the others to arrive, and by that time Dogarta could have been digested by a dinosaur. He decided he wasn?t going to wait around, he would explore, but he wouldn?t go too far. The first thing he did was go over to the nearby trees. They were incredibly high from the ones on his planet, and there even seemed to be fruit in them. He started up at the top of the tree for a moment but was startled at the thumping sound behind him. He jumped away and saw that one of the huge reptiles that was feeding from the river before had came over and had stretched its long neck into the trees. ?Hey, you must be a herbivore.? Dogarta said, unsure if the reptile could hear from that height. The dinosaur, to normal eyes, would have been hard to see because of the location of the sun above its head but Dogarta?s eyes were used to be Rarserian sun, which for some reason wasn?t as hot as Earth?s but much brighter and dangerous. The dinosaur drew its head out of the tree and looked down at Dogarta, stretching its long neck to Dogarta?s height. Dogarta was startled again, though he calmed down when he realised that the reptile wasn?t going to do anything to him. Dogarta hesitantly put his hand on the dinosaur?s head, running his hand across its rough dark skin and watching as it chewed on the leaves with its back teeth. ?And I was told that prehistoric animals were normal violent and attacked anything in their way. You?re a big guy, but you?re nice, aren?t you?? asked Dogarta. He didn?t expect a reply, nor did he expect the animal to understand anything. Suddenly the big yellow eyes at the side of its head widened, as if it were in pain. Dogarta raised an eyebrow; the animal snapped its head back and pulled away with a monstrous roar. It seemed to be staggering backwards, trying to keep its balance but failed. Its hind legs tripped over its tail ad it collapsed, landing on its neck first. There was no way in heaven it was alive now. Dogarta gulped. Had he done something? He didn?t want to get killed by the Lords of Time for killing a dinosaur. It definitely wasn?t moving, and its neck was definitely in bad shape from the fall. Bravely, Dogarta walked over to the dinosaur to see what was wrong. He came around to its tail and tried to look over it, seeing something large sticking in its stomach. He climbed up the animals tail, feeling as if he was climbing up mountains from his old military days because of the beast?s rough skin. There was a thick liquid running down from the wound. Blood. What was causing the blood was a thick metal stick, stuck into the dinosaur, and it wasn?t prehistoric. Dogarta ran his fingers over the dinosaur?s blood, gulped, and put his hands around the pole. He pulled it out and found it was easy to get out than expected. Why was that? ??Ah?? he looked at the pole and noticed the green slim still on it. Fluorescent green slim, thick, incredibly slippery and smelt like burnt engines (with a hint a lime? hence, the colour). It was xerphodium, a poison that had been banned on most worlds since the 29th century. It shouldn?t have been on Earth now, since it was invented by an Earth man who burnt out one fuel engine for his ship and needed another fuel source for the second engine. ?Axel! Carthage!? he shouted. He took the pole with him and leapt off the dinosaur, racing to find one of them. ?Axel! C?mon you guys, get back here!? No use, he didn?t think they could hear him. However, some one else did. When Dogarta turned around he caught the sight of a shadow that shouldn?t have been there, it disappeared in a few moments and the leaves rustled as it did. Whoever it was, they were humanoid, and they shouldn?t have been on earth/ -- OOC: One last point through OOC. No matter what scientist say these days you can portray dinosaurs as friendly or as aggressive as you want. There?s no way to prove science if you haven?t actually been to a place and witnessed it.

Heh, s'no problem if you don't get to post much. You can describe the scene if you want, but you don't have to. You can just end your post at coming out the other end of the portal, though really I think it would be cool if people talked about the scene. Next time my character won't be the first through, so someone else gets the make it up. Methinks it's unfair if I get to pick what everything looks like, lol. So yeah, describe and explore. No worries if it takes anyone awhile to post, you've got all the time in the world (unless, of course, Hephaestus decides that the world can't survive without computers and infects the world wide net with a virus that makes machines think for themselves and the government decides that the internet is a hazard so shuts it down. If that happens then you've got... hmm... about ten years?).

OOC: Apologies to all those who haven't posted yet, but I'm moving along to the mission now. Your character can just show up on the island we'll be at instead of the ship, or once again drop me a line for any help. A smile grew on Dogarta?s face when Lock, as she claimed, had spoken up and drew everyone?s attention to the door. When there were only men around Dogarta found it was very easy to be childish, amusing and a show-off, if you want, he felt as if he didn?t have to test his polite diplomatic skills around the men of the group, they seemed so friendly. But, sometimes, men and women didn?t mix, even when they were (supposedly) meant for each other. Keeping this in mind, Dogarta advanced to both the newcomers and was eager to introduce himself first. ?Good evening? or morning, I?m not quite sure. Let me be the first to invite you onto the ship, as I?m sure the Lord of Time who escorted you lovely ladies didn?t welcome you. I?m Dogarta, famous for my writing, my diplomacy, my art and not the least of all my art of hospitality.? He said to them both, presenting himself. Despite popular belief, Dogarta wasn?t trying to get another girlfriend; he was just being polite, as he knew he should be to any ladies. ?I?m sure you?d be very interested to meet everyone else,? he stepped aside and inclined his head for them to follow and made his way to the group. Tiberius, the male newcomer, hadn?t been introduced to Dogarta, since the Rarserian was easily preoccupied by his manners. ?Hey there, I?m Joseph,? Joseph said, extending a hand to one of the newcomers. ?I?m Lock as I said before, nice to met you.? She replied with a smile. ?Cynthia Madeline Jameson, though I do prefer Maddie.? ?I?m Nate,? another voice introduced them self, Nate. ?Axel, welcome to the party.? Laughed Axel, Dogarta laughed with him, because the group did remind him of some sort of fancy dress party. ?And I am Carthage,? the Wraith said, nodding to the two women and also sending a glance over at Tiberius. He didn?t extend his hand like the rest. ?Tiberius Excellon Braska.? The final member said, bowing slightly. Dogarta was stood next to Axel, grinning. He was watching a few of the members speaking to each other, more introductions and elaborations on who they were, perhaps. Switch was nearby and seemingly hiding, or looking for something. He didn?t seem to be a coward. Lock had turned around and caught the sight of Axel and Dogarta, and in response Dogarta smiled warmly. ?Another girl to your list, huh?? asked Axel. ?I don?t tend to rush into relationships.? Dogarta said, jokingly. ?But no, I?m just being polite. It?s unfortunately in my nature to be much kinder to girls than to you boys, I?m a afraid.? Finally, Switch came into the middle of the group, clearing his throat so everyone stopped. He was holding several small items in his hands, and when all eyes were on him he stood on the nearest table, placing the silver items down. ?I?ve been informed, through one of these little devices which is mine, that not all the members are here yet. However the mission is urgent and I would normally brief you on the Bridge, since there?s a screen there for me to show you where you?ll be going. This place will have to do. These devices are communicators, each number is to a different teammate, 0 is a communication link to the ship, also me. This is also a translator, capable of translating most alien languages. If you break this, consider yourself in trouble.? He started to hand them out, each team member examining the device closely. ?Pardon me, but aren?t you a?? Maddie had begun, but Switch seemed to have the ability to rise his voice very high and cut people off. ?Yes, I?m a monkey, from Singapore, to be exact. We?ll not get into that, ironically there?s not much time. Now, listen,? he began, clearing his throat once more. ?Your first mission takes place in the Jurassic Era of Earth, you?ll be hanging around with the dinosaur. One of Hephaestus? men, we?re not sure who, has allowed several aliens to conduct experiments on the dinosaurs. Deadly experiments, dangerous ones. Your mission is to get them to leave before they do any damage; they?re on a remote island where I?ll be sending you. If diplomacy,? he eyed Carthage, ?doesn?t work, then you?ll be granted the use of force. Meaning, kick their head in until they get off our planet.? Without any more explanation on the matter Switch had jumped from the table and was making his way onto the corridor. The group followed him, talking mostly, some keeping quiet. It seemed Switch was leading them back to the time portal. Upon arriving Dogarta felt the same rush of brilliance as he had before, the brilliance that separated the bottom floor from the rest of the ship. Switch led them down to the portal, which seemed to still be glowing bright white. The monkey didn?t seem to be moved by his work, he didn?t seem to realise how brilliant and amazing he had made such a simple room. He stepped onto the platform, halted the group, and nodded in approval. ?I apologise for rushing you all, though this has to be done now, as I?ve been instructed. You?re on your own when you?re through this portal; another one will only appear if you contact me. No Time Lords, no Switch to help you, no technology except those communicators and whatever?s in your pockets. You die there, you stay dead. I hope you?ve managed to learn enough about each other to trust yourselves, I doubt you three new guys have. But seriously now, don?t take care of your own life, take care of your friends, as well. It?s the number one rule of Time Travel.? Dogarta gulped. ?Do we have to go through that on our own? One at a time?? he asked, worried about the portal and the concept of having to look out for other people?s lives, not just his own. He wanted to, he was just afraid of screwing up. ?Err? yes? Didn?t I just say that? And since you seem to be the bravest, valiant and wisest of us all, who clearly listened to my speech, you can go first. Don?t get lost in heaven,? the monkey said sarcastically, grinning to the point of laughter. Taking a deep breath and preparing himself for the disorientation that was to come, he stepped forward, squinting and trying to see through the white light. He stepped back for a moment and leapt through with his arms crossed over his head in a futile attempt to relieve the upcoming pain. As before, he didn?t know what was going on. He seemed to be going through some sort of time tunnel; his Rarserian eyes couldn?t adapt to the light and show a clear picture of things around him. He kept his eyes closed and soon enough the feeling of weightlessness began to disappear, and soon after the feeling of pain arose when Dogarta found himself flung onto grass, hard. He rolled over a few times with his arms still on his head, but he didn?t feel so sickly as the first time. His head was spinning a little, though not too much. Staggering, he rose to his feet and blinked a few times, clearing up his vision to the point where he could see. And what he saw was indeed a brilliant sight Trees that seemed untouched by mankind, mountains in the distance, a perfect sky and land that was new from the hand of its creator. Trees rose to magnificent heights but couldn?t rival the height of the reptiles before Dogarta. Several with unimaginable large necks were reaching into the trees and eating the leaves while others were sampling the water from the river. He gazed for a moment, startled by the new sight, and even more startled by a deep, echoing roar from the distance.

OOC: To all who haven't posted, I want to repeat that all you need do is post an introduction ending with you at the time portal, or coming up to the Bridge where our characters are [Canteen, at the end of this post. Either bridge, time portal or food court is fine]. I just hope more people post. Apologies if anyone gets confused, just PM me or send me an IM otherwise. I can't keep the characters talking for much long, in fear it may get boring, so if this goes over a page then I'm afraid I'll have to start the mission. Dogarta was intrigued by the stories he had heard, he was glad he was getting to know these people more. Whatever the future would hold for him he didn?t think it would be in danger, especially with the people he was around. ?Well, we?ve shared our stories, I wonder what this Lord of Time has to tell us? Or the talking monkey?? Dogarta smiled at his comments, but the Time Lord stood nearby, seemingly gazing at the window, didn?t reply. Dogarta walked behind him, and tapped him lightly on the shoulder. ?Can I help you?? snapped the Time Lord. ?What?s hidden beneath that hood, eh? And what?s with those scars, the nameless race, the omnipotence that doesn?t stretch beyond your own world?? asked the Rarserian. ?What?s your big secret?? The Time Lord, for the first time, seemed to almost chuckle; or rather it was a ?hmm?, nevertheless it seemed to be some sort of emotion. Not much, but a glimpse of it. ?Correct me if I am mistaken, as a diplomat in your former life you must posses certain qualities, one of which being consideration to other species. Your questions were not only rude by very inconsiderate to my species. Our past is a mystery, you will never hear of it.? The Lord said, his voice turning cold again. Dogarta smirked. ?Rude, am I? As a diplomat I also know that you shouldn?t be a push over. You don?t give a gift to an unknown species, they?ll think they can have anything off you, and it?s you who needs the advantage. Kindness is a gift that must be earned.? The Lord was silent, he kept his head down and his arms crossed, and he seemed to have breathed heavily after that. ?I must take my leave now, there seems to be a problem that needs my attendance.? The Lord said. He pushed past Dogarta and left, swiftly, silently, strangely. ?I think you just might have hurt his feelings,? Axel chuckled. ?They seem arrogant, even though they don?t seem to have any emotions.? Nate said, looking at the lift as it closed and took the Lord away. ?Normally I wouldn?t be like that, the current conversation we were having was an excuse to get something out of them. I?m just curious, that?s all. If they?re so powerful, and they can travel through time, why don?t they kill this Hephaestus guy and then there wouldn?t be such a burden on us?? Dogarta asked, scratching his chin in thought. Suddenly, there was the sound of metal banging shut and a rushing noise, and then Switch appeared on the rail above the window. ?Don?t be too hard on those Time Lords,? he said, ?Hephaestus can?t be taken out of time like that. Time Lord history can?t be changed like ours, it?s their insight into time, we, being on the ship, will witness the time changes. However to a Lord of Time the changes they witness in their world would be anticipated, in fact they should be there. It?s their insight.? He leapt off the rail and walked, very human like, towards a control panel behind Joseph. He tapped a few things and sat on the console. ?Hard to explain. That?s why they?re observing and we?re working. Anything that shouldn?t be there is directed to the High Council, then to us. Hephaestus has to be there. We witness changes, the Lords don?t. Hephaestus is a vital part of our history, however if he goes back and let?s say? kills me, then the Lords send you to stop him, because that shouldn?t be in our history.? The monkey explained, taking a puff on his cigarette as he did so. ?How is it you know so much about so many things?? Carthage asked. ?Joseph said I might have been an experiment, but I?m not only that, in fact I?m an evolution. And a hybrid, I guess. I?m a descendant of experiments, implanting human brains into animals. However the idiot who did these experiments used endangered animals, and when cloning was finally perfectly perfected the government shut down his experiments and extracted DNA from his human-animals. We descended from them, thousands of species of animals. Our brains aren?t bigger or better than humans, my species of animal simply takes in information a lot quicker. I have a photographic memory and I read a page at 2 seconds, recalling 98% of the information?? Switch trailed off, blowing out smoke. ?Hey, that?s pretty cool. Perhaps you?d be willing to use your big brain to entertain us? Or find something for us to do. We?ll run out of stories sooner or later to tell each other.? Dogarta laughed. ?I bet you?re hungry. I can show you to the food court, I have to know what?s going on before I reveal any information about your mission to you. Come, follow me.? Switch said, leaping from the console and making his way to the lift. They arrived on the second floor, where Switch explained was the most interesting. He took them down the corridors, pointed to different rooms and indicated which where which, and then they passed two corridors, one on the left and right. The left led to the observation point, while the right led to the living quarters. ?And here?s my favourite part of the ship, the food court. This ship replicates anything you want, you either tell it what you want or type it in. I doubt we haven?t heard of it.? Switch said proudly. He leapt on one of the tables and sat down with his arms crossed, quite proud of himself. The canteen? well, Dogarta was impressed, once again. There was one floor with several tables, some were empty, others had various objects such as games on them. There were consoles and computers at the side of the dull silver walls, several machines for food and there was a second floor a few steps above, on a platform. There didn?t seem to be many tables up there, but the whole place seemed very interesting. ?Nice?? Axel said with a grin. The group sat down at the largest table, some unsure. Switch joined them, or rather climbed up on Joseph?s shoulder and peered at everyone. ?Oh, sorry. I hope you guys get used to me doing this, I do like to jump and sit on people. I find it makes them listen to me more.? He said, apologising with what seemed like a rather primitive monkey hoot before letting himself down onto the table. And once again, silence seemed to kick in. Like before, Dogarta decided to break it, with the most interesting subject he could think of. ?So? guys? how does you luck seem to be going with the women?? --- OOC: Well, your character doesn't have to answer that, maybe they could wonder off and get some food if you want to avoid the question. Just let me answer for Dogarta, hehe.

OOC: After noticing that there may indeed be a hell of a lot of people in this RPG, I figured that we?ll have to split up an awful lot on missions. My advice is try and remember names now, and you?ll have to excuse me for spelling my own character?s middle name wrong in the first post, lol. Anyways, to avoid confusion and too many characters early on, I?ll take the first couple of characters up to the bridge. I?m eager to introduce Switch, because he?s a monkey. Everyone else, make your way up to the bridge whenever you like, on your own or waiting for others. Btw, if anyone has a problem with the way I wrote your characters, don't hesitate to PM me and I'll change it right away. --------- Alright. Maybe it would be interesting. So far Dogarta had met four strange people, one definitely wasn?t human, the others? well, being a human look-alike himself, he just didn?t know. He then looked over to the Time Lords; they were stood in a group, huddled almost. They were talking about something, Dogarta didn?t like the way it looked, he didn?t like it at all. ?These guys are so wrapped up in their own little world that they?re continuing with their rudeness. I don?t know what it is with all these higher races and being rude? I mean, my people are practically super human compared to most, but we?re not arrogant at all.? Dogarta said. ?Oh?? Nate questioned. Dogarta shrugged and smiled smugly. ?Well? we try not to be?? He felt there would have been a few eyes being rolled and heads being shook at that comment, and Dogarta would have elaborated, but his attention was drawn to the Time Lords heading towards them, all but one. The ones approaching the group barged past everyone and entered the white, circular portal without a single word or comment. Dogarta could feel the ice off them even though they were gone, although he felt that if they had become so powerful they weren?t always like that. ?You will follow me, we will go towards the Command Section and there you will wait for your comrades.? The remaining Lord said, a black and gold one. A few glances were exchanged between the men on the silver platform, the man called Joseph made the first move and everyone followed. Dogarta, however, didn?t want to work for a race he didn?t fully understand. Sometimes in diplomacy he had to test the species he worked with, dangerous in some cases, but normally it gave him a better insight. ?And what if I refuse to follow your orders? What if I want to wait?? he asked, hands on his hips as if he were superior (when he clearly wasn?t). The Lord halted, turned, and spoke coldly. ?You will be terminated from the programme. You may only take part or disband the programme at anytime, refusing to follow our orders will result in death.? He turned and continued walking. ??Oh? oh, well, I was only joking, anyway.? Dogarta laughed. His ?comrades? seemed to be staring at him; they either thought him an idiot or a smart arse. Dogarta bet they thought of him as an idiot. They walked through the corridor following the Lord quickly, Dogarta stopping once in a while and gazing up at the high ceiling, where symbols seemed to be printed onto the roof. He thought they seemed misplaced, didn?t belong with such technology? though he didn?t muse on it for long. They passed through the doors, each door being made of a different substance. One metal, one wood, and another stone. That didn?t fit, either. They entered another corridor, a few doors on either side, a more brightly lit room with blue lights on the silver walls and on the ceiling. The doors seemed to have control panels on them, for a code, and it now seemed more familiar to Dogarta. More like the ships he had known, not exactly a like, just a little more familiar. At the end of a corridor was what seemed to be a circular lift, the Time Lord placed his hand on the door where a hand print was and it opened, revealing quite a large lift with dim lights; red, blue and green lights, to be more precise. They entered and Dogarta didn?t even feel the lift move. He could tell it was moving because the small rows of dim lights above seemed to move, as well. ?Well, this is interesting. I take it not all of you are human? I?m a Rarserian.? Dogarta said in an attempt to make conversation. If he was going to work with these people he wanted to know whom they were. ?To be honest, I?m just an experiment.? Axel told Dogarta, possibly with a tiny hint of sarcasm. ?I?m human? though, not really like most humans.? Joseph said, looking down at his hands. Dogarta didn?t comment on that. ?Klausian,? Nate told him. ?What about you?? Dogarta prompted when Carthage didn?t say anything. ?You don?t know who we are?? Carthage said, a little insulted perhaps. ?I?m from the 52nd Century, you might be millions of years a head or behind me. I?m sure you?re very well known where you from, but when time is concerned no one lives forever.? Dogarta said. ?So, what race are you?? ?We are known as the Wraith,? said Carthage. ?Ah! I know who you are now! How could I forget? Your species is actually quite well known, unfortunately I haven?t met one of you, nor do I know of your whereabouts in my century, but I know you at least. Your people made quite a mark, congratulations on that.? Dogarta said, politely nodding. It was obvious that the Wraith weren?t as friendly as most creatures, so Dogarta was being very careful not to insult Carthage. Suddenly the doors to the lift swung open, the Time Lord stepped out and held out his hand, presenting the Bridge of the station with a scarred hand. Dogarta and the rest stepped out, and a few stood in amazement for a moment. The Bridge seemed to have been cleaned beyond compare, there were numerous panels glowing a dim green, blue and red on the walls and at the sides, and it all seemed to be on a platform, with rails at the edges and stairs leading under the platform. Dogarta looked down through a metal grid below his feet, noticing wires and dim green lights beneath him. There were several bars above and near the walls, a few even going over the consoles. The Time Lord led them to the very edge of the Bridge, to a rail, where a window was in front, revealing the stars outside. ?This is pretty impressive,? muttered Dogarta, going over to one of the consoles. He tapped it and was shocked to see that it lit up brighter then before. ?Hey, don?t touch that!? A voice yelled. Dogarta spun around, at first he thought it was Nate, but it didn?t sound like him. Suddenly, something small came speeding off one of the bars, running underneath Nate and nearly tripping him. ?What the hell?!? Nate exclaimed. Dogarta found himself backed onto the console, with an orange haired monkey staring him in the face. The monkey seemed rather big for its species, its fur was sticking out a lot more, it was wearing a red baseball hat (at least, Dogarta that it was) backwards with a few strands of spiky hair poking through and it had a cigarette in between its small, pointy teeth. What was stranger was that it was dressed like an engineer, overalls and everything! ?That console controls the secondary shields, the shields are responsible for keeping us outside of time in this sector of space, if the primary shield goes down then you?ll have switched off the secondary shielding, and we could get hit by another ship passing through in whatever time line! You could damage the station!? the monkey blurted, hanging from the bar and pointing accusingly at Dogarta. ?I?m sorry!? Dogarta shouted, holding his hands up in apology. ?Is that a? monkey?? asked Joseph. ?No, I?m human,? the monkey protested, swinging from his bar onto the floor. ?No, you?re a monkey.? Axel told him. Sighing, the small creature continued an explanation. ?My rights in this Universe are human, therefore I am considered human. I don?t have any real race, I was born on Earth, raised on Earth and I will always be an Earthling. Singapore, to be exact. I?m Switch, the chief engineer on this vessel and the expert throughout the whole High Council. And in my expert opinion?? he lept up on the bar again, ?I say you don?t touch anything!? he shouted at Dogarta. Dogarta twitched. ?Right, well, anyway, you lot will stay up with me while the Lord goes and collects a few others.? Switch swung up on a bar and stood on the rail, right next to Carthage. ?If you break anything then I?ll eat you for breakfast. Understand?? he said to Carthage, before jumping down and disappearing underneath the platform. Dogarta suddenly got the feeling that Switch?s comment to Carthage wouldn?t be ignored. It sure would be interesting?

We will walk this beach as Gods Forever leaving our footprints in the Sands of Time. - Hephaestus And now, it begins. We welcome you to your new life, your new destiny. You have been chosen by the wisest and oldest beings in the Universe, our name which has long been forgotten, but or title which is known throughout galaxies as the one and only Lords of Time. Though there is nothing keeping you in this programme you should realise that your skills are greatly needed for the survival of not only humanity but possibly the entire Universe. Even such powerful beings as ourselves cannot defend the whole Universe. Our powers are limited to time itself, we have no effected over people?s lives. You, however, have the means to change someone, even destroy them if necessary. That is but one of your talents that is needed. Shortly you will begin your journey; you will be escorted to your new home by one of our people. We cannot guarantee that you will be given a lot of time to adjust before your first mission, nor can it be promised that all your teammates will be there in time for the first mission. We will try our best, but be warned, some members might possibly be met on a mission. Be weary of your enemies and your friends. It is not our place to inform you exactly what to do. You may kill if you feel it is necessary, though I doubt the majority of you will choose that option. Only kill those who do not belong to that time line, or shouldn?t be there. If you destroy any beings that should be living, we will terminate your duty to this mission? and your life. Chapter I Specimen In the great age of dinosaurs mankind wasn?t really a problem. They weren?t evolved enough to do anything amazing. However, in this instance, mankind isn?t the one threatening time. Someone, believed to be a henchman of Hephaestus, has granted a strange species to conduct experiments on the dinosaur population. They have been setting up camps and labs across a small island and whatever they?re doing is definitely going to screw up time. It is feared that some dinosaurs may become extinct and therefore disturb the balance of time itself. The experiments also seem to be having strange effects on the reptiles, mutations, perhaps. Let?s hope one of these ?super dinosaurs? don?t get out, or the aftermath will be disastrous. *** The sun was rising over Rarseri Prime sending rays of dark red light over the hills and mountains. Although most of Rarseri was full of high buildings and glass structures this place wasn?t, it was one of the only parts of Rarseri that was still thriving with nature. The small rivers and streams hidden behind the trees reflected what little sunlight managed to break through the treetops, the sky was a bright pink colour from the newly risen Rarseri sun and there wasn?t a sound in the world that could be heard in this part, except for the running streams and a gentle breeze. There was a small house just before the trees and stream, a rather primitive house for Rarserian standards. It was in fact a holiday home owned by Marrek, a friend of Dogarta. Dogarta had received his invitation, and numerous other letters, from the High Council a few weeks ago and today would be the day he would leave. Dogarta had nothing much to lose, but a lot to gain. ?Arovetsky, hey, wake up.? Marrek whispered quietly, shaking Dogarta. He had a habit of calling Dogarta by his second incarnation, since that was when they met. ?It?s almost time for you to leave.? Dogarta awoke suddenly, shrugging Marrek off of him and sitting up only to be attacked by the bright sun through his window. He was dazed and confused for a moment, then he saw Marrek. Sighing, he swung his legs over the side of his bed and frowned, rubbing his head in thought. ?What?? he asked his middle-aged military companion. ?What is it? Oh? oh, never mind, I remember. Today?s the day I make history and save it, as well. I?m glad you woke me up. Are there are more letters for me?? Marrek didn?t speak and instead handed him two envelopes. Dogarta opened the first one, noticing it was quite a long one. He didn?t read it, instead he went to the end of the letter, noticing it was from a man by the name of ?Jiheiro Ivart ?Switch? Salin.? Even that put Dogarta off. He wearily put that letter into his pocket and opened the other one, which was not signed, had no greeting like the rest, and was quite plain, even ancient. ?And now, it begins?? Dogarta read out loud. He began to read it, and as he did so Marrek decided to leave him to his thoughts. Upon finishing his reading, and not being impressed at all, Dogarta made his way towards the living room, where Marrek was moving files around. Marrek was only in his first life; he was quite old but looked considerably young with a big build and a military greater-than-thou attitude that most Rarserian soldiers possessed. It seemed Marrek was ignoring Dogarta, for now. ?Well then, Mr. Marrek, how do I look? Too fancy? Not fancy enough? A little too 32nd century perhaps?? Dogarta asked in an attempt to make conversation, flying into the room and twirling himself around to make his presence known. ?You look fine.? Marrek told him. ?Right. So I look bad, don?t I?? laughed Dogarta. There was no reply from Marrek, so Dogarta attempted to make conversation again, only this time he was more considerate to Marrek. ?Are you okay? Is this about me leaving, or the whole thing about me getting picked? I?m not calling you jealous? but it does seem a bit evil of me to put you behind for something else.? Marrek sighed, leaving the files for now. ?No, no it?s not about you getting picked, it?s the leaving part. Are you even coming back? If you die, there won?t be a Rarserian there to help you! You?ll die for good; you won?t have anymore lives left! Besides, I?ll miss you I guess, although all I?m really concerned about is you. We?re meant to live for so long that death is accepted because we?re so wise and understand it. It?s not fair if you die before your time.? Dogarta smiled, he almost laughed in fact. He had to leave Marrek, so he had to make it short, and short words were something Dogarta was good at. ?My friend and brother,? he whispered, placing a hand on Marrek?s shoulder. ?When I die I die, it doesn?t matter how many lives I live. Age doesn?t make you wise, it?s staring death in the face that gives you an insight to the greatest secrets in the Universe. The military didn?t provide that for me, but this will.? Dogarta smiled and felt suddenly cheesy about what he said. He backed away to the door, and did another twirl. ?Besides, who the hell is going to kill me?? Laughing once more, the Rarserian took towards the front door, taking his leave without another word to his friend. He left and stepped out into the bright morning atmosphere, feeling refreshed and dazed by the sun and clear air. Breathing in, brushing back his dark brown and messing hair, he began to walk. ?Arovetsky, take care of yourself. If you die, I?ll kill you!? Marrek shouted from the door. Dogarta turned around and saluted quickly, smirking as he did so. He would miss the company of his own kind, despite how he tended to argue with a lot of them. He had no idea where he was going to meet his escort, which was one of the things he had noticed in the letter sent from that ?Switch? person. Dogarta figured that they would meet him; he certainly wouldn?t look around for them. He decided to walk to the stream and wait there for them, hoping that he wouldn?t be forgotten. He reached the stream and knelt down at the waters, looking at his reflection with great interest and smiling. He ran his hand through the waters, they were cold yet felt strangely warm from the sun, a part of his planet he would miss. The smell of fresh grass and nature, the mysterious temperatures of the place, its people and its way of working? all these things Dogarta had known, granted not for long since he spent much of his time around Earth, but he had known them as a child and his childhood memories were his strongest. Dogarta sighed and sat back, wondering what his parents would think of him now. Would they be proud that he was willing to take on such a dangerous mission, or disappointed that he didn?t follow in their footsteps? If not following them was the case, then they would have been disappointed in his current life. Being the most ?erotic hero in the galaxy? wasn?t a title either of his parents shared. ?You have been selected by the High Council and the Lords of Time. You will follow me.? A dry, emotionless voice came from behind. Dogarta stood up quickly and came face to face with a considerably tall figure, dressed in white from his head down, his face hidden beneath a hood and numerous scratches and scars on his hands. ?So you keep saying?? Dogarta muttered. The cloaked man did not speak. He simply turned around and began to make his way up the hill, at a fast pace for a lanky tall guy, too. Still, without wondering further, Dogarta followed. He had to jog to keep up. ?I wonder if all these time folks are as rude as this guy?? Dogarta thought to himself. He frowned at his escort, who really didn?t seem to care. If the guy was capable of feeling care for any living thing. The letter seemed incredibly dry, as well; it was hard to believe these people had power of time. Dogarta wondered if, whilst gaining such a great power, they lost something that made them living beings. They stopped at a cave of some sort; it was so dark inside that Dogarta couldn?t see anything. He couldn?t recall the cave being there before, either. ?This passage leads to your new destination. I will guide you through and I will escort you to the Command Section shortly after. You must wait for some time at the Portal.? The escort said. His voice was colder now than before, emotionless as well. He reached out and put his hand into the cave, but it didn?t reach into the darkness. It seemed to disappear, as if it had passed through a door that Dogarta was incapable of seeing through. ?Is this the portal?? asked Dogarta. ?Yes. You will follow me.? Came the cold response. Without further ado, the escort walked through into the blackness, disappearing. Dogarta took in a sharp breath. His first time travelling experience? it didn?t seem too hard? so, he stepped through, without so much as a thought. ?Maybe he should have put a little more thought into it? He wasn?t sure what happened as he travelled through the tunnel, it was all darkness until he neared the end where numerous strange mixtures of colours had appeared. Then, the next thing he knew, the colours had turned into a bright white and his vision had cleared, the white disappeared and he was kneeling down on a metal platform. His head was spinning, he felt like throwing up and his whole body felt weak, like someone had just charged straight through him and disturbed all his normal functions. He stared down at the metal for a moment, blinking several times, and as the sickness passed he looked up to a whole new world. Well? not so new. The platform was at least ten steps up from the ground, and the ground itself seemed to be a very shiny silver colour. Not like standard dull ship colours, it seemed new and strong, much like the walls. The walls didn?t seem as bright, but they seemed as new and as plain as the floor. There was a long corridor a head of Dogarta, wide and stretching out for some distance and at the end was a doorway. Two large, wooden doors that didn?t seem to fit in with the silver area, which were followed by what Dogarta thought to be another set of doors, and possibly another set. ?We will wait here until I decide to take you up to the Command Section.? Said his escort. Dogarta rolled his eyes. ?So much for staring death in the face?? OOC: Alrighty, your turn. You should end your post at the portal, you can meet my character if you wish, say hi and everything if you want, or just leave it that you?re there. Your escort doesn?t have to be the one I?ve described, they can be different but you have to keep the emotionless and mystery about them, ie: keep the cloak. How they appear, where they appear, what they do is up to you. This is really an introduction post, include any made-up characters you want, make it as long as you want, just not too short. I?ll probably post a little later and take any characters that are already at the portal up to the Command Section, or Bridge, and the others can make their way up as soon as they arrive. If you haven?t finished your sign-up and everyone?s already at the Bridge, no worries. Like the letter said, some team mates will in fact be late. Have fun guys; be as creative as you want. I don?t mind, as long as you don?t mess up anyone?s characters, heh.

Alright, alright... I couldn't think of a very good name for this thread. -.- Sands of Time - The Underground M - LVS ?Greetings, boys and girls, monsters and ministers. If you receive this letter than your application has been accepted for our ?Time Squad? and as the Chief Engineer aboard your new home, and the most qualified Engineer of the 41st century, it is my duty to provide the necessary information for your new home. I should know exactly what it?s like, considering I helped build the place. Firstly the station was originally a satellite for a military based organisation, it wasn?t actually designed for humans. The ?buyers?, if you like, didn?t want the base after it was built and we were stuck with a state of the art war station, with nothing to do with it. I was informed to rig the station for a new mission, a time mission, they told me. And so that?s what it is. The station itself was originally dubbed Endeavour, why the people who wanted the station built named it that is beyond me. It only has three floors that can be accessed by a lift, but don?t let that put you off. The station is actually quite huge, the size of a small town, in fact (but most of this space is used up by the time portal and the engines). The first floor holds the command section (or the bridge) which is the base for all functions on the ship, it also means that during a ?time jump? only I will be present on the bridge. The first floor also has training halls, weaponry rooms, target practice, a computer room and lab for you folks to have some fun on today?s wonderful computers and several other rooms for the systems. Although they aren?t really forbidden, I must stress that the rooms that hold all control panels for ship functions should only be entered by myself. Although I may need assistance, I do not need another Engineer to take the reins of the station by themselves. The second floor is where you?ll be living. Your living quarters are all on the same corridor, and might I say they?re very fancy quarters. Your rooms have been made to how you might like them, but feel free to change them. On this level there are also observation points for star gazing, games rooms for more recreational activity, a very large food hall, art galleries for all you old century folk and a relatively new invention, a holoroom. Yes, a room of holograms, which you can programme to recreate anything in the Universe. All creations in this room are limited to the room itself, but it?s fun. If you have any trouble programming your desired hologram, then just give myself or my assistant, Larry, a call. And finally we have the third floor. This holds the engines, the power supply and all other vital parts of the ship. These three places are off limits and can only be accessed by myself. However, the most heavily guarded room on the ship has to be the room which contains the time portal. There are three doors hiding this magnificent piece of work, the first door requires a numeric code, the second door requires a letter code and the final door requires a key, which only I have. I?ll leave what?s inside the room for you to find out. You will all be given small boxes that can be used to communicate with myself or you team mates, those of you from the 21st century should be familiar with their mobile phone (cell phone if you want) design. There?s a different number for each of your team mate and myself, fifteen buttons in all. These devices shouldn?t fail you, seeing as I designed them. However they should only be used on missions and not for your own personal use, such as prank calls. Well, that?s all the information I can give you about the station, the rest is really up to you to see. You will be escorted by a Lord of Time in a few days, hours, minutes or seconds. God knows how they?ll appear; just watch out for the weirdoes, basically. You should end up on the 3rd floor, out of the time portal, and you will then be lead by my humble servant, Larry the android. There, you will be escorted up to the command centre, where you can meet everyone else and even me. See you there, oh, and don?t touch any loose wires. - Chief Engineer, Jiheiro Ivart ?Switch? Salin.? Well, that weird little letter should reveal some information about the RPG. It seems I won't have it up until tomorrow, but for now any questions can be asked here. Due to the absolutely disgraceful amount of sleep I've had lately, there's bound to be some really pathetic, embarrasing mistakes in that letter. Which is why you'll have to bare with me and let me do it again (without mistakes) tomorrow. Right now, you can ask all the questions you want. I'll answer in eight hours or so. ... G'night, then. EDIT: Hey there again, I also decided to add some upcoming chapters that I have planned. Just the titles, though. Take a look and comment: Chapter I - Specimen Chapter II - The Satan Theory Chapter III - The Measure of Man Chapter IV - Dangerous Minds Chapter V - My Enemy, My Ally Nothing being revealed yet, although if you ask nicely... I might. I just hope we actually get to these chapters, heh. Anyways, questions? I'm awake now, you see.

Alright kids, sign-up's are closed. And today, I'm feeling rather generous. I've reserved three spots for DeathKnight, Ecstasy and Ozymandius Jones, so hopefully they'll be joining us later. Revelation and Sakura are in the RPG, as well, but you two still need to finish your sign-up's. It's okay, I'll give you awhile longer to finish those. And no, I'm not rejecting anyone from the RPG today, because I feel like being kind despite my lack of sleep. However, I'm not a picky person (I hope I don't seem that way, heh), but I do like quality. Don't we all? I trust everyone in this RPG will deliver the best quality they can, so it's just a little note beforehand. Basically, if the quality drops below standards (which shouldn't be too high for you guys) then you'll only have one chance to up the quality. No worries, though. The Cast The Boss as Musashi Miyamoto Sin as Carthage Takamor`e as Teticoon Arsrin Monkatraz as Joseph Hunter Revelation - [Pending] Vicky as Dogarta Artovesky Therta Sakura - Katharina "Kat" Blum [Pending] Stark as Rizel Eva Starwind as Nathan "Nate" Rellis Crucifix as Experiment # 4539480- ?Axel Riotwing? Gavin as Tiberius Excellon Braska As you can see, altogether we should end up with 14 people. I seriously hope this RPG will be a blast. I'll post an underground thread before the actual RPG, then I'll post the RPG thread itself, then I'll PM everyone. Take a look at the underground first, should help. Unfortunately, I can't garentee the RPG itself will be up tonight, but tomorrow most likely, since I have no social life and can therefore spend my time on the computer all day. Thank you for joining, [strike]Goat[/strike] Vicky (Maybe I should get a name change...) EDIT: Hey, I got an underground thread up. And the title is so incredibly creative that I should get an award, heh. Go see the thread here and ask all the questions you want. I won't be able to answer until morning, though.

OOC: Apologies for the lack of posting, and sorry if this is short, but I'm not on my own computer and the keyboard makes louds noises while my parents are watching TV. --- "You idiot, you should have stayed at the cave with everyone else. You shouldn't have come along. Now look, someone you actually knew is dead." Luther thought. He hadn't known Clark too well, what was really troubling was that he wasn't a stranger. What if everyone else would die? What if he would die as well? He clutched the weapon he had given and just hoped to god he knew how to use it. And Alex... Luther didn't know whether to trust him or Mike. Either of them could be right. "Don't you think that was a little... well... stupid? Maybe he didn't kill Clark and if he's out there on his own he could die." Luther said to Mike, speaking properly for the first time. Maybe he had actually found his voice. "He was holding a gun," Mike said quite firmly. "And where do you think he got a gun? Where did we get these guns? That guy... Sharpe or whatever... obviously got these from somewhere. Where's he now? Don't you think he'll have a gun?" Luther asked him. He felt he was getting a little angry now and definitely wasn't scared of talking anymore. He didn't think Alex would shoot a man, he didn't think it was right to run him out of the camp. Mike didn't reply at first. Luther didn't know what the look on his face meant, either he was getting very angry at Luther or he didn't know what to say. Luther reckoned he was just getting very angry. Thinking it wise not to get himself into much trouble with the only group that would possibly help with his survival, Luther backed down. "Sorry, I'm sorry... it's just... I don't think I've ever... no, I'm sorry." Luther stuttered. He walked some distance from the group and sat himself down, sighing and hoping he didn't make too much of an idiot of himself. But just because he backed down didn't mean he changed his mind, Luther didn't think anyone would kill Clark, especially Alex. Luther wasn't enough of a talker to say something. Luther found himself wishing he had a knife, instead of a gun. He wondered why, but his thoughts were broken when he heard one of the girls asking a question. Luther sighed. ---- OOC: I hope I didn't screw up. If I did, sorry, I'll change it XD

Awesome. Friggin' awesome. I'm glad with the way the sign-ups are right now, 'cept I need Sakura and Revelation to finish theirs, heh. But so far, so good. Still haven't decided on the cast yet, and I would make some more suggestions but I'm not actually on my own computer and have little time. Plus, don't want to seem picky, either. I can't post an Undergruond thread today, I had it saved on my computer but since it's not working, can't post it. Basically, all questions will have to be messaged to me, and I also wanted to give a little information about the "Engineer" aboard. He'll play an important part but won't really be in the missions, he'll be responsible for passing on most information if it hasn't been already... the works. Also, there'll be a sort of servant aboard, if you wish. He's not very important, though he does comply to all orders (the Engineer is a higher rank and therefore can contridict these orders, though). Interesting? Should be. Switch, for lack of a better name, was born and raised on Earth in the 41st century. He has served the High Council for many years and is currently the leading expert on everythinhg technical. The satelite used for the base in the time programme was actually designed by Switch himself, so there was no one else perfect for the job. Switch gained his name from something stupid, it was simply because whenever a lightbulb was broken, or seemed to be, once he turned it on it worked. Really, the name is a strange way of telling people how good he is at fixing things. Switch is a nice guy really, he sometimes gets tied up in his work and ignores people, though. He likes to be sarcastic and straight forward, sometimes he can be cruel, as well. Switch is protective of his ship, he likes it more than humans, in fact. As a 41st century Engineer he isn't very up-to-date in the fashion department, though he doesn't care. He likes to smoke, too. One thing that should be noted is that Switch is a monkey. Yes, a monkey. A spiky haired, smart-mouthed, hat-wearing, 3 foot monkey. Larry, an android created by Switch himself, is programmed to serve and nothing more. He was chosen for the "Invention of the Year" award, every year for seventeen years, which Switch is very proud of. Larry is a tall, humanoid android, his skin is incredibly pale and his hair is fake and black, in fact all the android wears is either black or white. He has little personality, he's rather nice in fact, but all he can do is serve and nothing more. Apologies for any mistakes, I'll re-post is properly in the Underground when I'm back on my computer. Sign-up's close in 6 days. 12th of May. A Friday, I think... but I can't give anymore time than that, heh.

I have exams tomorrow and I'm writing sign-ups at 2 in the morning... damn. Okay, well I won't be posting a "accepted/declined" list now, I'm leaving the sign-up's open until at least next week, can't start an RPG until I've finished my exams. However, I will be posting my own character. And tweaking him when I get home tomorrow. And while I'm at it, a few comments. Sin, dearest Sin... although playing Predator would be interesting enough, there's one slight problem. The talents would have to be much more than just killing/being better than humans, since really the RPG isn't based around killing or hunting, even though we will be looking for certain people who are distubring time. You could probably add something to your talents, and possibly make your character a little less... predator-ish. I don't mean make him completely happy and fluffy, rather just a little less of a hunter and add something to your talents instead of him just being better than most humans. Drop me a line (message, actually) if you have any questions. =) Takamor`e, cool sign-up, though I couldn't read it all, heh. Maybe you could space it out a bit more so it's easier to read? From what I've read though your character does seem a little clichèd, especially with the sword being 150 times harder than diamond. All I can really suggest is if you tweak your sign-up a little, maybe change a few of the parts that seem overused in most RPG sign-up's (ie: all the mercenary stuff, the strength of the sword...), but really that's up to you. Just giving a suggestion, you don't have to change that too much if you don't want to. Monkatraz, a good morning to you (since it's morning here). I could suggest for your sign-up is that you work on the personality, appearance and biography. How your character had these electric powers, how no one found out, .ect. If you get the time you might want to check back and edit in a few more details. I'm not picking on you three in anyway, and I don't want to seem like I'm being very picky or nagging you guys, just a few suggestions and requests. Really, I'm looking for characters that would be unique, sometimes characters who are better than humans and being a mercenary get overused a lot in RPG's, I just want to try and make things different. Apologies if I seem like nagging, just keep in mind that the final list for the RPG isn't decided yet and anyone can be thrown out, or make it in. ^_~ Without further ado, my sign-up. Which I promise to re-do later, in fear I may be being hypocritcal, heh. Name: Dogarta Arovetsky Therta Age: Current Life: 37 ? All 3 Lives: 217 Species: Rarserian From the far reaches of the Trinebluam Galaxy and one of the oldest members of the High Council, meeting humans in the early 29th Century. In our society, when you die, another body is perpared for you, sometimes you?re even allowed to pick your personality. We?re allowed up to 15 lives, I?m currently on my 3rd. Our race start off with one name, for me it was Therta, and with each new life we get a new name to add on. Our people are highly advanced, we take on new additions to our personalities with each life, new skills and more knowledge, thus meaning we easily advanced beyond anything known in the Trinebluam Galaxy. Well, in my personal opinion, Rarserians are the most advanced in the High Council, especially when it comes to genetics and physics. Timeline/Date: December 25th 5291 Origin: Jaqamore City, Northern Hemisphere, Rarseri Prime, Trinebluam Galaxy. Special Talents: I inherit the traits, talents and flaws from all my lives, and my talents are pretty good considering I?ve lived three lives. In my first life I was a diplomat, a writer and a philosopher, so I gained good understanding for certain areas. Really, the diplomatic and philosophical part only added to my current personality. My next life contains another addition to my personality, that of an Admiral. I?m not a fighter at all, though I do know how to handle authority from the military and discipline others. I tend not to, though. But shall I move on, to what you really wanted, my one and only true talent. Although I?ve gained the skills of a soldier, spy, diplomat, writer, adventurer and a hero, I?m more of a charmer now. Some call my arrogant, but how can I deny it? People fall for me, my charms, my way of seducing them; lying if necessary? it?s all so simple in this third life of mine. I have yet to fail in charming a lady of my desire, my personality is quite charming, to say the least, and very attractive (to the point where my outer appearance doesn?t matter anymore). I can lie my way into a castle or charm my way into a women?s heart, it?s so simple. I even earned the title of ?the most erotic hero in the galaxy?. Yes, it?s true, one of my greatest talents is seducing all forms of life and err? gender, if necessary. Weapons/Items: None that you would allow. Appearance: Here and here. Oh yes, and I forgot to mention the Rarserian?s strong similarity to humans. But outwards appearance doesn?t matter, does it? Personality: Ah, about time. My personality is my talent! I do admit, I?m arrogant, though it really is hard not to be with the amount of evidence to back me up. Although I am known as the ?most erotic hero in the galaxy?, I?m actually not to found of sweeping a women off her feet and into my bedroom every night. I?m a very nice guy, I?m considerate, funny, I like to make friends and, one thing I learned from my diplomatic career, is that listening is good and I like to listen. I?m not very selfish, I do put others in front of me, whilst also keeping in mind my own needs. I?m no fighter, just a hero who has a habit of saving people. I?m not good at saving people, but somehow people got the impression I am. I?m a very easy person to talk to, since I like to listen Emotions. I know a lot about them, and you never really see any of mine, only passion, romance, and sometimes, love. Yes, the 53rd Century Casanova doesn?t love as much as he should. It?s perfectly fine lying or charming your way into a woman?s heart, though I have never really been in love. I cared for those who became part of my life, but I never loved them, not in the sense of marriage or anything like that. I?m not an android though, in fact I often do get angry or slip a very rude comment, one thing I?m actually known for is sarcasm. In a nice way, though, because I?m a nice guy, remember? One thing I must add is acting. I?m no expert, but to lie my way through life, which I sometimes had to, I had to hide my bluff and I soon became an actor for myself. Hiding my emotions, portraying false emotions, not perfectly, just? easily. Biography: Ah, the tale of Dogarta Arovetsky Therta is an interesting one. Biography is a story to me, in which I shall begin. Therta, my first life, was born in Jaqamore City in the Nothern Hemisphere of Rarseri Prime. My father was a diplomatic officer for the Andromeda Fleet, not the Earth fleet. My mother had strong ties with the humans. I was mostly interested in my father?s career, seeing as my mother didn?t have one. I studied to become a diplomat, I had left school with high scores in all areas, heck, I was considered a genius! With these high grades I easily became a diplomat, at first I was in my father?s department, working on several ships in the Andromeda?s arsonal. Sadly, my father died, and out of grief I went to live with my mother on Earth. I became a diplomat for the High Council afterwards, until shortly I was shot. Fortunately I was taken to a medical bay in time and I was granted my people?s gift ofreincarnation. The details of my ?attempted murder? are not ones I wish to dicuss. Arovetsky! This was who I was, a hard cord military man, a captain of the skies, a warrior from birth. I trained in a military school for sometime until I found myself ready for duty. I got through the ranks like a speeding bullet (this one didn?t hit me), later to captain my own ship for the High Council. I was feared by many and loved by Earth for my services, there wasn?t a man in the entire galaxy that could strike me down. There was one who could shoot me down, though. Once again there was an attempt on my life by an unknown killer, and once again I survived. My days as Arovetsky were short, to be honest, but they were good. And here I am now, Dogarta. The charming, eccentric and positively brilliant Casanova of the 53rd Century. Up to this point I have had the most interesting time of my life. My mother passed away while I was going through my change, I didn?t have much time to grieve, though I did miss her. For most of my life I had devoted myself and my love to her, as a mother obviously, and now I had no one. So, I turned to other women. I easily charmed the ladies, human, Azatian, even those crazy Martians from Mars 2. My skills in the? love department? were legendary to the point where most people knew my name. All three names. I quit my job as a diplomat and moved on to a freelance career, as anything. I was hired as a spy for humanity, against humanity, I was hired as a soldier to lend my experience in my second life, a chef, a newspaper editor? everyone wanted my talents. And who wouldn?t? I wasn?t flawless but I wasn?t worthless, either. Granted, there are better fighters, better geniuses and better writers than myself, but there is no better man in the Universe for seduction and personality than myself! No one can resist a taste of Dogarta. Is that why you picked me for this programme? Well, I hope so, since it?s my best talent. You guys?ll love me ? everyone else does!

Sands of Time [M-LVS] How many times have I used this title? Oh wait, just once? well, I just think it?s groovy. Same title, different RPG? slightly different. Once upon a time, We found ourselves standing on our beaches, staring up at the stars Wondering what it was like, to be there among the Gods We dreamt of such things and wished for such miracles Dreamt of all these galaxies so fine And we waited centuries until we were there, among the Gods We sat with them, dined with them, but we weren?t one of them Now I ask you, will you join me in my quest to join them? We will walk this beach as Gods Forever leaving our footprints in the Sands of Time. - Hephaestus History plays a pretty important role in society ? you learn it in school, we learn from the past, and most of all without history there wouldn?t be a present, or a future. The past is incredibly important and holds the key to our civilisation, there are so many things we want to know but may never understand. There might not be enough evidence, it might be too long ago, and people may have simply forgotten. Without making a long essay about it, the past is essential for the present and, ultimately, the future. Luckily, humanity never found a means of time travel. Not in the 21st century, not in the 54th century. They never did no matter how advanced they became. Some felt that this was right ? humans had always caused problems for themselves, problems which increased with their inventions, new weapons and new technologies. People felt that they couldn?t trust themselves with a power such as time travel; something for education would easily turn into devastation for their entire civilisation. In the far future when space travel was possible there were still problems, wars with other cultures, wars among humanity?s own ranks and more proof that humans were not responsible enough to wield the power of time. Even though they were growing up, humans still lacked what was needed to achieve such a great accomplishment? and that was common sense. Yes, through all the intelligence, all the great machines and amazing structures humanity had created, most still lacked common sense. Wasn?t it common sense that you don?t let the lion out of the cage if it?s destroyed everything inside? Without bullying humanity anymore, there was in fact a species that were worthy of the powers of time. No one knew their name, no one gave them a name, they didn?t find a name necessary. They were an ancient civilisation in far reaches of the Universe, forever on a mission to meet new life forms, study them and their worlds. These beings seemed to frown down upon the rest of the Universe, as if they were the scientists and all others were merely the lab rats. Their research seemed to lack compassion for the people they studied, they didn?t care for feelings or opinions, they merely did their work and left. Now, on most planets, they could get away with this. But when you cross the path of a race such as humanity?? There is no way in hell they could fly off without so much as an argument. Humans and these new beings had a lot of trouble, they argued, they had fights, they even banned each other from certain parts of their territory. Some of the xenophobic humans spread rumours about these ?Omnipotent Lords of Time?, claiming they were here to destroy humanity at the roots. Humans soon had enough. They asked their visitors to leave them, and they did, but their leave took time. The xenophobes got angry at their idleness to the point where they actually attacked their visitors. You would think an all-powerful race with the key to time would easily ward off such beasts, but they didn?t. The events that took place are unknown; all that is sure is that the aliens left only with half of their people. This had happened in the 29th century; surprisingly humanity was just as brutal back then as it was in its first living years. However, humanity shaped itself properly in the 35th century, enforcing harsh new rules, new laws and new morals that secured other cultures outside their own. It took awhile but humans finally became the perfect creatures they were destined to be in the 40th century. Their civilisation was finally ready for anything, even time travel, but they were wise and knew that humans didn?t deserve such a power. They had thrown out the Lords of Time; they could not invite them back. Little did most of Earth?s population know, time travel was already in the hands of some humans. When the aliens were driven out some of their technology was stolen, and although humans were brutal back then they were still smart. One man, Zeus Hephaestus, who renamed himself after two Greek God?s (which only proves his ego and arrogance), was responsible for the creation of a group of bandits, or rather ?Time Bandits? that existed throughout Earth history. Hephaestus hired men from all over the ages to disturb humanity?s roots, some changes didn?t reach the 40th century quick enough, others did. Humans didn?t notice, but the all-powerful Lords of Time did. They returned to the humans, made peace, explained their last actions, and explained the destruction humanity was facing. At first the world leader?s and allies of Earth were sceptical about it all, thinking it to be more lies formed by these Time Gods. Provided with evidence of the man responsible, humans set out to track this man down themselves, instead of believing the Lords of Time directly. They never found Hephaestus, only his henchman, working in Hephaestus? place in the 40th century. Each and every time they killed one of Hephaestus? replacements, humans were given the same last words: ?Stand by our side among the Gods.? The Lords of Time proposed a solution to this. They would not grant humanity the power of time, instead they would grant it to a few of the humans and their allies. It seemed that the studies the Lords of Time conducted were done to see which humans were worthy to join their elite group of history preservers, a ?Time Squad?, so to speak. Welcome to the 40th Century You have been selected by the High Council of Via Lactea [Milky Way], consisting of the Azatians from constellation of Kasterborous, members of the Andromeda Galaxy, the Triangulum Galaxy and the Trinebluam Galaxy, the Royal Family of Alterius Nine, the Founders of the Five Tribes of Matanui and our guests of honour, the temporary members from far beyond our reach, the all-powerful and unnamed Lords of Time, to provide your skills in a programme designed to test the responibility of humanity and preserve humanity?s sacred history. ?For all those not familiar with the 40th Century, forget that. We are the High Council of the 40th Century, situated on Earth. There are many, many members in this council, most of which aren?t even from Earth! The above is our introduction, modified for the task at hand, although it still includes the most famous and contributing memebers of our society, possibly some you may get to know throughout your mission! Now, we have a crisis at hand, and we require your services to not only save humanity but prove the some humans are in fact capable of handling the powers of time. Although we do in fact think it unwise to be granted the gift of time, we also know that without knowledge of the 4th dimension we will never know what changes have been made to our people, and it will save the Lords of Time a great deal of? well, time? to keep coming to our planet and telling us what has gone wrong. Several centuries ago a man who calls himself Zeus Hephaestus stole technology from the Lords of Time. He gave this to evil men and women throughout our history and now we have been informed that our past is being changed, therefore our future and present is changing, too. As stated before you have been selected to join our special force, to preserve time itself, a Time Squad, so to speak. People from all time lines, all planets and all walks of life will be joining you ? I hope you?re not xenophobiac! Although you have been specially selected by the wise Lords of Time, we at the High Council have requested to go over your records, just in case. The High Council is in charge of the station you will be serving at, your roll in the group and we will personally relate all missions to you, although on occasions the Lords themselves will personally deliver messages. We request your information so that we may see how fit you are for this service ? also, if you wish to leave the programme at any time, all you need do is ask the Engineering Expert from the High Council itself to send you back home, and we?ll put you back where we found you. The High Council of Via Lactea requires you to fill out this form, tablet, document or rock (depending on your location) by midnight (12 hours) and to leave it exactly where you found it, on the blue and red symbol engraved into the floor (the seal of the Lords of Time). If you wish to decline our offer then do not return the form, remove it from the symbol. Basically, you are from any planet (not too far away, though), in any time, and you have been selected to join this ?Time Squad?, so to speak (I keep saying that, don?t I?). Obviously characters from the past will be very sceptical, but they?ll have to find a way to write out their strange forms. As for the biography, you can write your history or do a character snippet, either it okay. And, if you?re a show off, you can do both. I don?t mind show off?s, being one myself (a bad one, at that). I?ll be making an underground thread later which will reveal a bit more information, as for the RPG itself it?ll be a bit laid back for your classical time RPG, it will have a chapter system, though. And no, it won?t be all techno-babble, in fact I didn?t even know what a xenophobiac was until last week, heh. Yeah, so in fact you don?t really need to know much about science or time, just really know what?s going on. Which is easy. You?ll be on a orbital station, outside of time, surround by people from all walks of life (literally), preparing to save the known world from being destroyed by an arrogant man who named himself after two Gods. It?ll be a walk through the park, where everyone will get along, and everyone?ll be happy to save the world? right? Well?

Though don?t worry, I?m not a push over when it comes to Pokémon and people. Having three brothers who were trainers I learned that being nice was as essential as being firm and tough. I?m very talkative, if there isn?t anyone else around I can sometimes be found talking to myself, or even inanimate objects! I?m not stubborn, though I am quite confrontational (I prefer to call myself protective) and stick to my opinions. Apparently I get very defensive and sometimes arrogant when it comes to arguing, but don?t worry, I do, on occasions, admit to being wrong. Personal History: Only one of my three brothers has participated in the Belrie League (in which he sadly failed to succeed) while the other three went on to different leagues. I come from Pallet Town; I grew up with only my father who wanted me to be a trainer like my brothers. Around the house we had a small fire Pokémon, Vulpix, as a pet and my eldest brother?s starter Pokémon which he wished to keep at home so he could start a new journey with new Pokémon. I basically grew up with Vulpix, I was very fond of him and he is one of the reason I favour fire Pokémon so much. I never really had a lot of friends in my childhood, there weren't a lot of young boys in Pallet Town who hadn't already gone off to seek adventure. I had always been a talkative person and, having not many people to talk to, I would find myself either talking to myself or Vulpix. My father always said that our family was fond of fire types and that we always tend to pick up a fire type Pokémon somewhere. I learnt a lot about Pokémon on my own and with the guidance of my family, unfortunately I only learnt about the Pokémon that lived in Kanto. All my brothers (excluding my eldest who went off to find new Pokémon) trained with Pokémon from Kanto and I only ever met their Pokémon. After having a taste of what being a Pokémon trainer was like I decided that I wanted to become one someday and I would keep trying until I was the best. Obviously I know that would be a hard job, almost impossible with the vast amount of trainers, but I was determined to do it. Unlike my brother who failed in the Belrie League I assure you, I won?t! Equipment: Nothing much really, I guess I like to travel light. Just a small backpack to fit a few handy items in (like potions and Pokéballs) and a pair of Go-Goggles that my eldest brother picked up from Hoenn. They could be useful for sandstorms, or even for flying to keep the wind out of your eyes! I found them useful at home, so I?m sure they would be useful throughout my journey. Preferred Starter Choice: I?d prefer Charmander as my starter Pokémon. Although I would be quite happy with any of the fire Pokémon, Charmander has always been my favourite out of all three of the fire types, partially because it was given as one of the starters in my home town awhile back and it?s rarely found anywhere else. I?m also very interested in its final evolution, Charizard. I know that the Pokémon is hard to train and control but I also know that if trained properly Charizard can be pretty useful, and it just so happens that my second favoured type of Pokémon is the flying type.

Luther had been wondering around the jungle for awhile now, he didn?t know how long he had been gone or how long he was going to be. Sighing, he just kept walking, kicking leaves and rocks occasionally. He really wanted to get home, wherever home was? He was mumbling to himself about the climate, scratching his head in wonder. As he did so he heard, or thought he heard, something behind him. He turned around quickly to see what it was, but there was nothing there. Maybe it was just the wind? or those noisy animals again. He shrugged it off and continued walking, still mumbling. Then he heard it again, leaves and branches cracking. He swiftly turned around again. ?Fuckin? animals?? he grumbled. There was no one there, Luther knew that for sure. He kept staring at the scenery in front of him, scaring himself more and more as he did so. He had enough and decided to run in case anything was behind him. As Luther ran he kept looking behind, assuring himself nothing was following him. The real danger was not looking forward, to make sure nothing was going to collide with him. And something did. Luther fell on his back, hard. He felt his head crack off something hard like in his flashback (or dream) and it hurt. He lay there for a moment, groaning with his eyes tightly closed and trying to reach the back of his head with his hand. He opened his eyes all of a sudden, a blurry image in front of him. When it became clear he jumped up. ?Wow? ouch err? sorry about that,? Luther stuttered, standing up shakily. There was a young man in front of him, one he had seen before but never spoke to. He didn?t look too pleased that he had run into him. ?S-sorry. I?m Luther. Darren Luther.? He said, holding his hand out. The man shook it. ?Mike. Are you from the beach?? Luther nodded, ?I? yeah, I just came for a walk around. I was going back there now, actually. I just thought I heard something and? ran away I guess. Erm, sorry about that?? he apologised again, smiling nervously. ?I?m heading back there to bring everyone back to a cave we found,? Mike told him. ?Well, I?ll come with you.? Luther interrupted. He felt a little rude for doing that. ?I have to get back there now, I met a little girl before, Robin. I? want to make sure she?s okay.? Luther said. Mike gave a nod and started walking, Luther trailing behind, rubbing his head.

Luther was lay half sleeping and half awake. He could hear voices of people from the crash, he didn't know what they were saying, though. He just lay with his eyes half closed, looking up at the sky, puzzled by an image in his head. Or rather, a set of images and events, mixed up. He couldn't put them together. "D'you think you can steal and get away with it, eh?" a voice said. Luther shook his head and opened his mouth to speak, only to be silenced by a punch to his jaw. He would have fallen on the hard ground, however a stronger boy was holding him up. Luther clenched his jaw and closed his eyes. He braced himself for another impact, which came quite soon. This time he was hit on top of his head. "I didn't steal anything!" Luther told them, whoever they were. His voice was high pitched, or more than usual. How old was he...? His eyes opened a bit more... another event in his mind. He didn't know what it meant, or if he was just making things up. To him it seemed pretty real, maybe a memory he had forgotten. Wasn't a dream, for sure. He was still awake. It had to have been a memory that was lost thanks to the crash. Luther didn't know himself, a distubring thought he had to admit, but he knew he wouldn't steal anything. Who were the other people? Luther would never steal. After punching there came the next best thing: kicking. Luther was thrown onto the hard floor, his face smashed against the concrete and then his guts felt as if they would come out of his mouth any second as two people kicking him in the chest, stomach and ribs. Sometimes even his face. Luther had his hands over his face to try and protect himself. It wasn't doing much good. "Don't deny it," the same voice from before said. "You're a lying scum, you're worthless. Everyone'll be glad if we killed you here and now. You're weak. They kicked him again. "Should we take his money now?" a new voice asked. "Nah, let him suffer some more. Another kick in the face. This time Luther jumped up, wide awake. He was breathing heavily again. Was it a dream or a memory? Well, whatever it was, he finally figured out who the people were. Not their names, just that they were... bullies. That was the best thing Luther could make from it all. They seemed like mean people, a bully was mean, and anyone else probably would've killed him. The whole experience was quite disturbing anyway, Luther wished to forget it. He stood up and rubbed his eyes. He searched the beach for the girl he had found before, Robin. He found her sleeping and wondered. Should he wake her? No, he didn't want to in his jumpy condition. He needed some time to himself. He needed to go for a walk, calm down, forget things. He wanted to find out exactly who he was but now he was unsure. There were footprints leading into the jungle, Luther figured he would follow them. He didn't favour the fact of meeting and talking to more people, though it would serve as a good walk looking for them. At least it would waste some time, and he didn't want to be gone for long. He wanted to make sure he was back before Robin woke up. Setting off at a fast walk, he headed towards the jungle following the footprints in the sand.

Luther had been on the beach for a while now; quite a number of people seemed to be appearing from the jungle. Luther hadn?t spoken to anyone, nor had anyone introduced themselves to him. He felt a little out of place among everyone, or just nervous around all these new faces. He gulped and touched the scars on his arm, as if for comfort. Shaking his head and sighing he made his way back up the beach for a moment. He bit his lip. What was he supposed to do now? Say hello to everyone? No, he didn?t really like the thought of that. There were a lot of people; some of them might have been dangerous. Or just unfriendly. Luther didn?t really know how to survive on his own, or maybe he did and he just couldn?t remember, but it was clear he had to stay with the other people, just in case. That didn?t mean he had to speak to them? did it? Or maybe if he got to know people he could actually make friends and increase his chances of survival? or reduce them if he happened to introduce himself to a complete and utter psychopath. He made his way back down to the people, not wishing to talk to anyone, but slowly going back to what he thought would be safe. Stopping for a moment, he looked at the groups, bit his lip again, and turned back. He seemed to be walking in small circles. Was he really so nervous? What was he so afraid of? Surely he wasn?t scared of? ?Hi there,? a small voice said, making Luther jump. He gulped but calmed down and noticed that a very young girl with red hair and freckles beside him. ?Oh? er?? Luther stuttered, trying to smile back. ?Hello.? He looked down at the floor and scratched his head, not really knowing what to say. He felt as if his lost for words wasn?t due to his memory but a habit he had always had. ?I?m Robin. Who?re you? Do you know who these people are??? asked the girl. Luther shook his head. ?Well? err, no, I don?t. I?m Darren. Luther. I mean? I?m Darren Luther.? He stopped again and looked over at the other people. Surely it was safer with more people. And, surely, a small girl would be much safer around real adults than the mess that Luther was. ?We should? um, go and talk to those?? he trailed off and pointed in the direction of everyone else. ?Okay,? said Robin. She started to walk, or rather skip, off over to everyone else, but soon found herself face first in the sand. Luther quickly ran over to help her up. ?Are you okay?? he asked. ?Whoops, I must have slipped, heh.? Luther smiled anxiously and allowed the girl to run off again, trailing closely behind. ---------- OOC: I hope you dun mind me using your character KKC ^_^;; if you want me to change anything just ask.

Animals. He didn?t really liked animals, never had a dog or anything like that, he never saw the point in animals. Who would? They were noisy creatures; so noisy they had awoken him from his sleep. He groaned, trying to see where he was but his messy blond hair had prevented it. He stood up, shaking a little, blinking once or twice before he actually wiped his hair out of his eyes. He kept his hand in place to shield his eyes from the scattered rays of light that had someone broken through the treetops. This was all becoming more confusing. He kept looking at the trees for some time until his attention was drawn to his arm. Scars. Scars all up his arm, underneath, above, deeper scars and lighter ones going all the way up his arm. He drew in a sharp breath and suddenly noticed his shirt was ripped, badly. It was torn open revealing part of his shoulder, his shoulder that was also scarred. They weren?t recent, that was one thing he knew. No these seemed to be very, very old. Besides, he couldn?t remember being cut recently? ?In fact? he couldn?t remember anything, including his name. He drew in another breath again and started to walk, staggering every so often, his deep blue eyes wide open from shock. He looked up to the sky, blinked once or twice, and remembered something about a plane. A plane? Maybe that?s how he got here. It didn?t seem like a good landing from the way his clothes were, and the fact he was in the middle of a jungle. Maybe the plane had crashed? Yes, that was probably it. Another shaky breath entered his lungs. He was panicking now, not being able to remember who he was. He touched the scars on his left arm as if for comfort, or a way to find out about his past. He wanted his parents, even though he was far too old to be a whining child. His parents? no, he couldn?t remember anything about them, either. He didn?t know what a mother was and? a father? well, the word father made him think of hate and anger. Fear. No, he didn?t like his father. He was even named after his father. Darren something? Luther, was it? Yes, he concluded it probably was. No, he didn?t really like being called Darren, since it was his father?s name. He preferred his second name, Luther. That was much better. Relief gave him enough time to breath properly again. He calmed down, looking at his arm again. Luther didn?t remember much but he got the impression that the terrible scars on his arm had something to do with his father. He really didn?t like that man, what seemed strange was that he couldn?t remember why. Luther looked around himself and wondered. He wondered if he was alone. Maybe he was, but he wasn?t scared of being alone. He felt like shouting out for other people, he wanted to, if he could be bothered. No, he wasn?t lazy; he just didn?t want to talk. He doubted anyone would hear him over those noisy animals, anyway. He really didn?t like the animals in this jungle, yet he didn?t want to hurt them. No, Luther didn?t like the thought of hurting anyone else nor did he like the thought of them being hurt. If anyone was going to be hurt it might as well be him. Hmm? self pity? Luther had only just thought of that. Or was it just a mixture of bravery and morals? Well, he didn?t know. He wanted to find out, and find something to do. He didn?t want to spend an eternity weeding through a jungle. Though the thought of being alone was a appealing one he didn?t find the thought of being bored out of his skull as appealing. He shrugged and decided that searching for his memories and other survivors (if there were any) would be a good way to pass the time. ----------- Name: Darren Luther Age: 18 Personality: Quiet, a little bit of a loner, protective to people (or just not wanting to see them get hurt) and has a little bit of self pity. OOC: Apologises for the lack of posting? I got grounded XD, apologies for the short length as well for I have not much time to write it ---------- As soon as Mark got home the first thing he did was sleep. He wasn?t even going to attempt to get his head around everything until he had rested. He hoped that maybe when he woke up it would have all been a dream, or at least he would have forgotten. Mark didn?t believe for one moment that he had the power of God. He slept peacefully for along time in his dark apartment, it must have been at least an hour. When Mark finally did wake up he did so slowly, rubbing his eyes and staring up at the ceiling. The first thing that came to his mind was that it was all a dream, then he found himself grinning broadly in the belief that it was, and he didn?t met Gabriel. Slowly he got up, swinging his legs off the bed and stretching his arms. He looked at his shoes and noticed the mud on them, which was quite strange. If it was all a dream, he shouldn?t have mud on his shoes. ?I like these shoes, as well, now I have to clean them again. I hate cleaning.? He said, pulling his foot up on his knee and flicking a leaf off his shoe. He really didn?t like cleaning. ?Maybe having His power would be pretty useful now,? he mumbled. As a joke he started running his hand across his boot, smiling to himself, pretending he was cleaning it when he knew he wasn?t. He realised his feet were cold, as well, and what was stranger was that as soon as he did a small spark ignited out of nowhere and caught on the bottom on his trousers, bursting the bottom of them into flames for a moment. Mark found himself back on his bed and not knowing what to stare at; his hands or his feet. Not once had he ever been able to warm anything up with a thought, let alone set fire to it. ?Oh Lord? this really isn?t a dream, is it?? he whimpered, looking up and expecting an answer. ?Well, there?s only one way to find out.? He walked into the bathroom and leaned over to the mirror across the sink. He studied his face for a moment, feeling a little stupid for doing it. Then he noticed a small spot near his nose, he didn?t like spots at all, people would make fun of him for it. Although it was tiny, he figured it would be a good test. ?The all-powerful Lord doesn?t get spots,? he told himself. He touched his spot and wiped his hand across his face, closing his eyes for a moment. He opened them and saw in the mirror that his face was actually a lot cleaner than it ever was, or his skin looked nicer. For a moment Mark didn?t realise what he had done, when he did he leapt back and stood still against the wall. He really didn?t expect anything to happen! ?One more test I suppose,? he said. He needed solid proof, and having read the bible he was aware of Jesus turning water into wine. That should?ve been no problem for him. Timidly, he turned the tap on. Clear water rushed out of it, Mark gulped. He did an expression that seemed like concentration and placed his hand near the water. Something inside hoped that nothing would happen, so he wouldn?t have any special powers, so he wouldn?t have a responsibility to use them. He opened one eye, gulped, and opened the other. The water rushed out in a blood-red colour, wine. ?Lucky I?m not an alcoholic??

Name: Mark Goate Age: 17 Gender: Male Alignment: God Appearance: Click Personality: Normally he?s quite quiet around people he doesn?t know, however he does like to have a laugh with his friends and family. He?s a somewhat laid back boy with a nice view on life in general, he doesn?t have many worries and he?s always willing to help. He?s nice to people, a lot, it?s even easy to tell when he?s joking or being sarcastic. For most of his school days Mark would end up either being the friend who helped sort things out, or the scapegoat in the middle of things (which later led to his nickname of goat, his last name also being goate). He?s good at talking to people; good at sorting their problems out, however when and if he did get problems he could never sort them out himself. To put it simply, Mark was a somewhat push over, he would do things for people and be very protective of his friends, sorting their problems out, doing their homework, and never really having time for himself. Being a Christian, Mark doesn?t think of life as a waste of time. He isn?t arrogant about God, in fact he, on many occasions, is one of the funniest people when it comes to jokes about God. He believes in living life to the fullest and knows that there?s something waiting for him afterwards, he?s even been study theology in his high school years (and he was always fascinated about his name, Mark from the good part of the bible, and goat from the evil side of things, if you liked). Mark?s always willing to learn new things, he?s pretty brave, in fact, and isn?t one to judge. Mark will normally end up doing what people say, but he isn?t stupid, and he won?t believe someone if they told him without any evidence, he?s not gullible. Reaction to Visit: It was night. The sky was dark and illuminated with only the faintest stars, though some didn?t appear to be there because of the light pollution from down below. Mark enjoyed watching the stars; he figured heaven was up there somewhere and, ultimately, God. He was quite far away from any buildings; it took awhile to walk up from where he lived. The hillside he was on was his favourite place in the world, it was quiet, it was deserted, and it was the perfect cinema seat in a show of lights. He loved it. If Mark didn?t have his eyes set on being a theologian and possibly teaching theology then he would have been a star gazer all his life. Not an astronomer, he didn?t want to try and figure everything out about the heavens, instead he preferred to stare in wonder and question things about them all his life. He sighed and rubbed the back of his neck. It was getting pretty late, maybe he should go. I didn?t take him a moment to decide that. He got up, stretched, and ran his hand through his blond hair with a smile. Looking up for a moment with a grin on his face, he shrugged and made his way back down the hillside with his coat draped over his shoulder. The leaves crunched under his feet and he kicked them aside. He was sort of having fun for a moment, then he stood in something. It wasn?t really water, it was a little thicker, but it wasn?t mud, either. He looked down and lifted his shoe up. The darkness didn?t allow him to see much but he noticed it was a trail, and he followed it to what could only be described and some sort of animal, dead, under a tree. So badly beaten and injured he didn?t know what it was. ?Jesus?? he suddenly looked up to the stars as a sign of apology and cautiously walked towards the animal. He stopped halfway and sighed. ?Don?t worry, it may look painful but I guarantee the good Lord will not have let it die in pain.? A soft voice said from behind. Mark jumped and turned around, meeting the gaze of a tall, blond haired man, in a thick long coat and with a grin on his face. There was no need for the grin. ?The good Lord isn?t so good sometimes. He never answered my preys, but who am I to judge, eh?? Mark said, being quite weary of the man but not wanting to anger him with no reply in case he was dangerous. ?Well, he?s timeless, he might be getting around to answering your prayers, and it might take him long and by the time he does, you?re dead.? The man replied. ?He invented us, he should know that we?re impatient. Who are you, anyway?? asked Mark. The man just smiled. ?Gabriel.? ?Oh, like the Angel Gabriel.? Mark said, since they had been on the subject of God a few moments ago. ?Like?? a bigger grin crossed the man?s face, and he began to remove his coat. Mark was frowning for a while at this, and then his jaw dropped. If it wasn?t attached to his face it would have been hanging on the floor, and there would be no need to pick it up, because he didn?t know what to say. Before him a stranger had just revealed the wings of an angel. Mark looked up, then back down, and bit his lip. ??Are those? real?? he stuttered. There was nothing else he could think to say. He walked forward with a hand outstretched to touch them, but Gabriel backed away. ?Would you rather have my wings or His power?? asked Gabriel. Mark didn?t know who he meant for a moment, then he realised. ?I?m not sure, I don?t think I?d want to responsibility of answering people?s prayers.? He laughed. ?He isn?t asking you to do all that, he just asking that you be righteous, that you keep on the path of good and don?t stray. You?re a believer; you don?t have to be the Lord to know that. And even you have your doubts, everyone does. Why does God help those who don?t need help, and not those who really do? Why isn?t he here with us, doing our work? Well, you can answer those questions yourself, but wouldn?t you rather have a demonstration? Would you prefer to be shown how being able to cure the world prevents you from actually doing it?? Mark?s first impression was ?crazy?; then again, if this really were a messenger of God, then Mark would be a fool to refuse. He looked down at the ground, and then back up to the angel. He thought for a moment. ?I don?t think I believe you?? he felt somewhat guilty for that, if he denied one of God?s angels it seemed he was denying God if it were true. But he would rather be honest than lie. ?How about a demonstration?? the angel held out of his hand. ?Here, let me show you what I mean?? Mark looked suspicious for a moment, but he decided there was no need for it and took his hand. Gabriel smiled and let go of it and soon as it had touched. ?There you go, the power of God.? ?Pardon me?? asked Mark. He now knew the man was crazy and those wings were fake. Nothing happened. ?Look, I don - ? ?People receive things differently? someone who had just been given what you have now would probably be on their knees shivering from the new power they have, and others, like yourself, will feel no difference, but that makes you neither stronger nor weaker. Make good use of the powers you have, because if you want to be a theologian then the only way to know God is to be God.? Mark stared down at his hands. He felt different, but he couldn?t put his finger on it. He breathed in heavily, and wondered. Was there anyone else who was granted this, or was he the only one to be given this burden and power? He looked up and began to ask, but he noticed that the angel was gone.

It had already been quite a long day for Pikachu, it was the night before he would enter Mushroom Kingdom in his latest quest and already he had been battling hard and fast for first place against the others in a game of Pokemon Dash. He considered it a warm-up, really, a fun game before he would actually set off. Luckily he could get a rest before he set off, the game had really taken a lot out of him! Instead of being enthusiastic, chirpy, full of energy and determination like normal he was tired and it was showing. He hardly said anything to the other racers before leaving them, tiredly and almost wobbling. ?Hey! Wait up!? Pikachu knew that voice. It was the voice of a Pokemon, obviously, but Meowth to be more specific. Somehow everyone had gotten the impression that any Meowth was talkative and rude, well? they were right. In this case rumours were right. Pikachu wasn?t really up for a long chat with Meowth? he sighed his name. ?That was a good race there, pal! Are ya ready for that big tournament you entered?? asked the cat Pokemon. Pikachu sighed again and nodded. ?Great! You?ll do good!? Meowth walked alongside Pikachu with more energy than the yellow mouse had seen in his life. Pikachu didn?t get how he could be so alive and talkative after a race like that! It was rude not to listen, so Pikachu pretended to listen. ?You?ve got great stuff, kid,? continued Meowth, ?those other guys don?t know what?s comin? to ?em!? he was rambling, now. Or at least trying to. Pikachu sighed again and hung his head ? the sooner he got to Mushroom Kingdom, the better. Though he needed a rest and Meowth?s constant blabbering wasn?t his ideal nap. He made no attempt at communication. ?Well, this is where we part, buddy.? Meowth chirped. Pikachu gave him what could only be described as a sarcastic look and walked away from the stone race path, not saying a word. ?You go get ?em! Show them some of your stuff! Zap ?em to oblivion! Kboom! Kzaap!? Pikachu twitched and stopped. Behind him was a Pokemon, probably the saddest he had seen, stood making weird noises of encouragement. Turning around, Pikachu gave Meowth a growly-sort of look (well, that?s the best way to describe it), far from the innocence many had known in him. ?Shurrup?? he grumbled. --- ...Later... --- You know, it was actually really hard to forget someone like Mario. Pikachu had battled with him once or twice; to be honest it was probably the best times he had. For once there were no silly block puzzles to solve or simple Pokemon to zap back to the Pokeball they came from, it was a actually interesting! Pikachu only hoped he could relive the same thing, he knew that for definite as he gazed up at the entrance before him with sparkling eyes. ?Pikachu!? a voice said. Pikachu?s ears pricked up, and he stood on his toes when he noticed the bright red plumber standing near the entrance. Pikachu raced over on all fours, full of energy this time. ?Mario! Way cool!? he said when in front of the plumber, standing up on his toes to seem taller. ?It?s good to see you again, but I?m a little excited and I really want to meet the rest! Can you??? he trailed off, his voice as high-pitched as it was whenever he said his name. ?I?m-a glad your excited!? Mario exclaimed. He stretched his hand out and indicated towards the inside, in which Pikachu responded with a polite nod. ?Step this way-a!? Pikachu smiled and nodded. ?Pika!? he said, which he preferred to say instead of a yes. He quickly hopped through to see those who awaited him on his team. He didn?t know about being a hero or seeking adventures, but he definitely knew it was going to be interesting!

To sum it up, Pikachu has had experience in all sorts of combat and fighting all sorts of creatures, from small, cute and fluffy to just plain ugly. Reason: Boredom could be a short explanation, really. Pikachu, always being seen as the cute one, only gets to play hero in the occasional Nintendo games that seem like a cheap spin-off (Pokemon Pinball, for one). Having tasted some of the action in two events with Mario, Pikachu now thinks it?s time for a change and he sees his chance soon enough and decides that maybe he could actually make it in the real world instead of running around making a name for himself as a cute yellow rat.
