1. Dogarta couldn't help but laugh at Agramon. He smiled at him and they continued their way up the stairs... though Dogarta didn't feel they had to. Atlantis was familiar, but the place he was standing in wasn't. Dogarta's strong instincts told him there was something wrong, he didn't know if it was for the good or bad, though it didn't matter. He kenw not to walk into terrority with a sinking feeling inside him, even the Titans weren't indestructable. "We shouldn't go up here," Dogarta said, stopping. The three Titans looked back at him, and he just shook his head. "No, we need to wait for the other Titans, we don't know what this is and it could be dangerous by ourselves. We should wait for the others, in case we need them." He started to back away from them and back down the stairway, inclining his head for them to follow. Malchius looked back up the stairs suspiciously before putting away his sword. The sand outside was dry and untouched for centuries, yet at the same time it was refreshing for Dogarta. He was sitting, gazing across the ocean and running his hand through the sand. Malchius, Agramon and Lucia were stood up, Dogarta didn't want to stand, he was a little tired from the travelling. He scooped up some sand in his hand and poured it over Malchius' shoe. Malchius gave him a strange look, Dogarta replied with a grin. "I spy a Titan or two over there." Lucia said, pointing across to the shores. Dogarta stood up, squinted, and smiled. "That you do... I wonder..." he mused. Dogarta merely smiled at them, and waved, even though he didn't know which Titans they might have been. "It will be so great to see everyone again... I mean all of them, stood here... defending humanity will be refreshing." Malchius nodded, "I know." Lucia didn't reply. "I hope Aldian realises we're not inside anymore..." Agramon said. He continued when Dogarta raised an eyebrow at him. "We were both heading towards you, we missed you landing. I wondered why we didn't see him on the way down. I hope he'll be here soon, anyway." He sat down when Dogarta did, and Dogarta wondered where Aldian could have been, too. And the other Titan's, at that. Patients was all it would take for the Titans to meet once again. Perhaps it wouldn't take long for them to be together as bothers and sisters again. Though what evil they would face was unknown, but he did feel as if the halls and buildings in the mountains held the knowledge they needed. Well, Dogarta would have to wait. --- OOC: Hopefully in your next post you will all be able to make it to Atlantis, White your character could possibly make it across by using the rocks like Terra from Teen Titans. Edited my post as well, so it may seem a little messed up. Sorry Sin.
2. "I would have thought I would be more excited to see everyone, but I'm more preoccupied with getting to the Azores. We should get going," said Dogarta, turning to look at the other Titans. "There are only a few who we have not seen, and I'm not sure about Tenor, he won't be able to get across the water by himself..." he trailed off into thought and smiled at Lucia. "Well, maybe we should start moving along, and find some answers, no?" Dogarta nodded slowly. He turned back to look at the others and walked towards them, kicking water off his boots. "I will be making my way across to the Azores for now, any one who wishes to follow may. Malchius, you have no way of getting across so now I offer you one. Will you join me?" he asked. Malchius merely nodded. "I don't mean to be the boss of you all, it's good too see you and I don't wish to ruin the moment, either, but I think it would be best if we started going across some time soon..." he trailed off and smiled. There was no need for him to carry on, though he didn't want to boss them around either. He nodded at each of them politely and smiled, then inclined his head for Malchius to follow him as he walked back to the shores. "Such a journey calls for a marvellous beast to carry you both across," Dogarta said. He put an hand on Lucia's shoulder as he walked past her and grinned, then he began to walk into the water until it went up to his knees. That was slightly strange for Dogarta, seeing as he couldn't swim very well unless he was an animal. He dived in head first and disappeared beneath the waves, for quite awhile, in fact. In only a few seconds the waves lifted up until gravity would allow it no more and the head of a reptile-like creature pushed its head through the waters. From it shoulders were wings, medium size, nothing spectacular really. The beast stood on its hind legs and looked somewhat like a miniature version of a tyrannosaurus rex, or something from myths. It was Dogarta as an extinct reptile, which he preferred to call a Draakvan-Himmel, although in some myths it was known as the baby dragon of the skies. Hardly anyone knew it from stories, the dragon's bones would decay shortly after death, but it was one of the few "dragons" Dogarta was capable of turning into. Small indeed, but big enough for two people to ride. Dogarta turned around, kicking an awful lot of water up as he did so onto Malchius and Lucia. He came forward a little onto the shore and bent his neck forward, and invitation for them both to get on. Once they mounted him he looked over at the other two on shore and gave them what could have been called a grin. As Malchius was just getting on Dogarta turned around swiftly, almost knocking the Time Titan down, and raced into the waters. Salt water flicked into his eyes and slipped down his scales, possibly wetting his two friends, but for no longer. Even when it seemed he was going to swim he didn't, he took off. "Hold on..." Dogarta said to himself mentally. His wings weren't anything brilliant in looks but in reality the small dragon he had morphed into was a powerful swimmer and flyer. He had launched himself into the air at an unbelievable speed, so unbelievable he was afraid Lucia and Malchius would fall. He was even afraid of humans seeing him, though his fears slowly disappeared when he broke through the clouds and levelled out slowly. The wind stopped being so violent higher in the sky and Dogarta straightened his wings out, gliding. He wanted to ask his friends how they were doing and if they hadn't fallen off, though he couldn't. Powerful in a small package, maybe, but the Draakvan was no speaker. Well, Dogarta had time to ask them anything he wanted when his mind was an ease in the Azores. --- OOC: Sorry if it seems rushed ^_^;; bad day
3. Water running through his fur, water rushing past his body, such an awakening feeling. It refreshed Dogarta, he felt as if he had never rested, he felt awake and more alive than ever as he swam across the France in the form of an otter. Occasionally he ducked below the surface, to explore the new world, and then he came back up. Though upon reaching the surface of the water he leapt high into the air, but not as an otter, as a dolphin. Powerful wisps of water splashed up behind him and back into the ocean. He swam below the sea as fast as he could, anxious to see his friends once again. Though he was worried about several Titans would may not have been able to cross to the Azores, he decided that he would wait in France and find his way to the Azores from there, with the Titans who needed a ride beside him. He reached the shore, he had to be careful. He didn't know how humans would react to his powers, he had kept them secret for years, no was not the time to show off. He touched France finally with the paws of a rat. A soaking wet, sewer looking rat. Well, it was only temporary. He scurried into the heart of France, spooking the women and men, they yelled at him and screamed, sometimes people didn't even notice. After the second broom was launched in his direction Dogarta got fed up and scurried to the darkness place he could find to transform back. "Humanity will never change..." he grumbled, walking onto the streets and wiping the grim off his cloak. He walked among people, not looking normal or feeling normal, but at least he wasn't a rat. Everything was no different, the rushing, the talking, the strange way of dressing. Dogarta wasn't protecting the world he once knew. He didn't stop to take a look, to gaze upon the wonderful world, he kept going. His destination was the Bay of Biscay, the best way he knew to get to the Azores. There he would sit, and wait, for if anyone needed a ride across the Ocean they would find Dogarta to help. With the aid of the sky as a bird and the ground as a dog (yet again he was attacked, then he realised he didn't look as fluffy as most of the dogs) he reached the Bay easily. People were still around him but Dogarta knew a place among the rocks were no one was, where he could wait for his friends if nescesssary. And he found it. Away from the gazing eyes of the humans he sat with his legs pulled up to his chest, gazing across the see. "How long has it been since we walked in glory and pride across this world?" he whispered, smiling. "Too long, brothers and sisters. We are the protectors of this world and once again we will be, defending it together as it should have been... as it should have stayed." His smile faded, remembering the gap he had in his memory. "But you hide things from me, you won't tell me about those hundred years. Was I cruel? Was I truly in love? Well, I will find out one day... for now I will have to live and be happy." He looked at the sun and put his back against the rocks, wiping the turquoise hair from his eyes. Dogarta frowned suddenly, feeling a presence near him. Humans perhaps, annoying him. He grumbled something under his breath, an ancient tongue long forgotten, and looked to the side to gaze upon his offender. When he saw the man stood on the rocks a smile grew across Dogarta's face so big and wide that his jaw almost broke. And it faded as quickly as it came. "Malchius..." the words escaped Dogarta, he rose. "I thought you were dead. I-I didn't know. It had been so long and shortly after we had..." he stopped, looked at the man, and wondered if it was real. One way to find out. He sprung forward and wrapped his arms around Malchius, a bear hug like no other. Malchius was quite shocked, in fact he didn't even realise Dogarta had lifted him off the ground. Dogarta suddenly dropped an already shocked Malchius. "Ouch..." he mumbled. "I should be dead," he continued with a bit of a smile. "But I'm a hard man to kill. I knew I'd find you here, Dogarta. I was thrown in this direction and I knew if I would find someone it would be you... here." Still smiling, Dogarta nodded. "I can't believe this! All those years, Malchius! All the good times can be relived! Were you awakened as well?" Malchius frowned. "...Obviously." "The Titans! They'll need to get across! We can wait here for them, they will know where to find me. There is a new evil brewing," Dogarta dropped and arm over Malchius's shoulder, Malchius gave him a strange look. "And yet I find myself happy to fight it... alongside the people I should be with. We should be with. Though... you should be dead." "Yeah, I know." Malchius slipped away from Dogarta and stood beside him. Dogarta just smiled and nodded. --- OOC: Those who need a ride in Europe from Dogarta will have to come to France. Blayze your character might have to travel quite a distance if you wish to get across with Dogarta. Great posts everyone =D

But that isn?t where our story begins. Hidden deep within the woods of Snowdonia, far away so no man can touch, is a statue. The vines and bluebells from the forest floor were tangled around its base; the edges were chipped and worn away with other forms of plants growing over it. There wasn?t an awful lot of light early in the mornings, now was there an awful lot of life, but you could just see the statue clearly enough. It was a man, kneeling on one knee with his hand gripping the base and his eyes looking distantly to the end of the forest. Although quite a bit of the statue was worn away it looked magnificent and new, almost marble when in fact it was just stone. It wasn?t just a statue of any man, or a tribute to any mortal, it was a Titan, one of the very creatures that were responsible for the world?s existence now. Light finally entered the woods and shone over the statue, lighting it up more than ever. That was no different from any other morning? although there was something else. The statue didn?t have distant, blank eyes anymore, this time they were a deep dark red after the sun had lit it up. And, even more of a change than normal, the statue seemed to be melting. Stone was turning into liquid, dripping down the base and hardening onto the vines and plants below. The sun wasn?t that bright! Though it seemed that as the stone melted away it was slowly revealing the face of a Titan. The stone melted off his face like hot lava and when his hands were finally freed he lifted them and wiped away the rest of the stone from around his deep red eyes. He yanked his foot out of the rest of the stone and his other arm, staggering to a stand. Dogarta Araes-Isdeen, Titan of the Beasts. He had awoken startled, not knowing why he was summoned from his resting, or what awoke him. He looked at his hands for a moment, squinted and remembered what they were for, what he could do. Memories rushed back into his head of his friends, his family, and he realised that something was very wrong with his world today. ?The Titans?? he whispered. He needed to find them; he needed to cross the oceans. He didn?t know why or how it would help, he just knew he had to. He stepped down from the block of concrete which was once his resting place and staggered back a little, leaning onto it. He rubbed his head and walked forward, wobbling like a bowl of jelly. The vines had thorns, they tangled around his legs and their teeth dug into his shins, but he merely resumed walking and tore the vines from the ground as he did. He could see the sunlight bursting through the trees, but it didn?t hurt him. The world in his eyes was tinted a blood red colour, the darkness of the night was no obstacle for him nor was the brightness of the daytime. His problem was the forest floor. He stumbled again and fell this time on his face into the leaves. Frowning, he spat them out and looked up, to be greeted by a black snout and nose. A fox was looking down at him; lay down as well, its eyes reflecting the forest around it. ?Do you have a name?? asks Dogarta. The fox cocks its head. ?No, no name. Just fox or red fox, nothing like you?d expect.? It replied. Its mouth did not move, no voice from its mouth, no words from its eyes. ?Are you a male or a female fox?? asked Dogarta. ?A female, but that doesn?t matter now, does it? I?m a fox and you?re talking to a fox here in these woods. You are human, how can you do that? Humans never talk to a fox. ?Not human, a Titan. Immortal, powerful, humans have no ability to talk to me; they stray from their animal heritage and thus making it impossible for me to talk like I am with you. Though I know their language, we communicate through words.? Dogarta replied, no words from his mouth, either. ?My memory is bad, I cannot remember how I entered this forest, do you know the way out? ?Leave? Why would you want to leave? This is a great forest. Do you know how fast I am?? Dogarta shook his head, ?I?m fast, I?m very fast. These dogs, they think they can catch me, scare me with their yelps that sound like something?s dying, but they?re dumb, they don?t catch me. I mean come on, they think they can catch me here, in my own home, my own dirt? This is mine, you know, I own it. ?No, I didn?t know that.? Dogarta said, inclining his head like the fox had done before. ?Humans have changed, I can feel it. And judging by the way you talk, the intelligence of your words, I take it animals have evolved, too.? ?Yeah, but they don?t know it. Humans think we?re still all instinct, but I?m not. You want to see my teeth?? Dogarta nodded, the fox opened its mouth, showing off a set of sharp, pointed teeth from black gums. ?You have a nice set of teeth, as well, nothing special. Want to hear me growl?? she did not wait for an answer; she crouched lower to the ground and growled. ?Do you have a growl?? At this moment Dogarta could have imitated the growl of any animal, from the roar of a lion to the rumbling of a dog, instead he chose his normal growl, his own. Fierce, low and intimidating. ?I?m impressed, you have a good growl. Work on it. Some are born with a good growl, you know? You?re interesting, Titan. Keep running this way and you?ll find your way out. I have to go now. Can you hear that? The dogs with their yelps and barks? They?re chasing me. Humans and dogs are chasing me on horses, think they?re scary, think shooting me is fun. They can?t catch me, I?m fast, I?m very fast, if I die I won?t care, their bullets are cheated, they?re cheaters. When we meet again, Titan.? Dogarta sat up and rested his hands on his knees, stared at the fox for a moment; it tensed, jerked and sprung past Dogarta, leaping past the trees and over the logs. Dogarta watched her for a moment and heard the barks of dogs and the sound of hooves smashing against the ground. It startled him for a second and he realised this was what the fox was talking about. Dogarta wouldn?t be caught in something as brutal as hunting; he even wanted to protect the fox. Then he remembered his destiny was to protect humans, not foxes. He kicked off from the ground and when he landed on the forest floor on all fours he wasn?t running on hands and feet he was running on the fast paws of a cheetah, feeling the leaves beneath him and the breeze against his face for the first time in hundreds of years. Atlantis was the island hidden from humanity; it was close to the Azores, across from what Dogarta knew as France. It was close to humans but hidden from them, only the Titans themselves could see the Lost City of Atlantis. It didn?t sink as Plato had said, nor was it in the same location as he described, it was merely an island once ruled by humans until they killed themselves and their memory faded with Atlantis as it was covered by mist. Atlantis was the Lost City and the only place the Titans could never defend. Dogarta planned to get to France and travel from there to Atlantis, and he hoped he would find some of his friends on the way. He hoped that he wasn?t the only one to have been awoken by an evil he couldn?t describe. Before he had even gotten to France he found himself lost in the land he had once called his own. It had only taken him awhile to fly over to England; he was making his way through Manchester, downwards to the English Channel and to France. What he had seen from a birds eye view above had made him curious to the world below, and now he was confused. There were people all dressed differently than he had known, all of them looking proud of themselves and arrogant. Dogarta felt awkward, he wasn?t used to the future. There were so many new things but Dogarta tried to ignore them. He walked along the roadside, towards a bridge and a lake, away from the buzzing of the town and the large glass structures. He walked down on a path that went under the bridge; he could see people inside, young adults mostly, dressed in black and different kinds of clothing than he had seen. They reminded him of the Vampires he had encountered in his travels with the Titans; they were even trying to start a fire with paper and sticks. He walked past them; they all stopped talking to look. Dogarta kept his eyes forward and felt their eyes looking at him, they were looking at whom he was, and they were looking at the abnormality in his eyes. His red eyes. He turned and looked at one of them, an older boy leaning against the wall with a short piece of clothing on his chest and a pentagram on his shoulder, it was something Dogarta had seen so many times. These children apparently had no idea of the power a pentagram was, of the evil it meant. Sighing, Dogarta ceased his walking and leapt forward into a run, up the gravel path and away from all the foolish humans. How did they expect the Titans to save them if they didn?t know what evil was? Protecting such a mislead species was hard work? Dogarta would rather have protected the animals. That wasn?t his concern right now. Certain he was out of sight, and that no one would see him, he jumped up, kicking up little stones and felt his arms flex out into the giant wings of a flying dinosaur, enough to take him across the land to France? and soon, his friends.
5. *Coughlazycough* Sorry Prince, couldn't resist ^_^;; I've noticed that Chapter RPG's ten to fail a lot of the time, so no, no chapters. Though occasionally there might be little missions, which will be sort of chapters... only not. I'll show you in the RPG. It'll be non-chaptered anyway. As for meeting each other... well... I haven't gotten to that part yet, lol. Methinks I'll do it like this: those who are in Europe will meet, those who are elsewhere will meet, and then they can get together. Though that might take awhile, so the other option is for the Titans to have some sort of instinct to travel to a certain "place". I'm thinking an Island somewhere, and since I'm a fan of mythology and legends, it might very well be the Lost City of Atlantis. Only it... won't be... underwater (not all the Titans have Taura's abilities, heh). No worries, I'll alert everyone before the RPG starts. Oh, one more thing to add: resting places! There's loads of ways a Titan can rest, suspended in time, floating on the sea or under it, snuggled up in a warm bed of leaves, squashed into a statue, but my point is be creative (except you guy's can't steal the statue idea, my character's using it, heh). The first few posts will be waking up and, if you're close to another Titan, meeting them if you wish. You'd have to be relatively close unfortunately.
6. Cool. Everyone who hasn't finished there sign up will have to get it done soon, the RPG will be starting on Monday methinks. I'll only leave the sign up's open a little while longer for the Light element and the villians. The listing so far: Titans Grae Alun-Ishmar - Fire [Blazye] Tenor - Earth [White] Ixidor Zoraki Zunova - Sky [lkillion] Rikudim Thor-Bach - Electricity [KKC] Taura - Water [Sakura] Isis Aysenn - Ice [Illusion] Agramon Caznim - Darkness [Sin] Light Dogarta Araes-Isdeen - Beast [Vicky] Aldian Canas-Baine - Telekinetic [Crucifix] Malchius - Time [Prince Van] There's still room for the Light Titan and some villians. Those who haven't finished their sign up will need to get it done ASAP, heh. I'll post more information in the Underground soon.
7. Aquatic Abilities would be something like being able to breath underwater, being able to talk to fish, better swimming abilities than any of the other Titans... things like that. Tidal control is controlling the waves really. If it's still not clear then it's no problem, I'll explain it again, heh.
8. Originally it was intended for the villians to only have the Dark powers (Cosmorians only), I didn't want to make them all too powerful. However if you want to play a villian then to make your character more interesting and a good match for the Titans, then yes. The story behind the villians and who created them is an interesting one and your character having an element, too, would fit in. The only condition is that if you have an element you'd have to be pretty much above the rest of you species of villians. Like a commander or a general, something along those lines.
9. It's up to you really. Like I said some powers are quite similar, you can still have your power as being able to create hailstorms, heavy rains and whatnot. I was thinking the ability could be something like Storm's out of X-Men, I wouldn't worry too much about some of the whether falling into other people's elements.
10. Correct. Since it's also in the present day, that means (at the beginning mostly) you can't run around using your powers in front of people. That's only at the beginning of the RPG. Later on I intend for the humans to realise the threat among them, and I don't just mean the evil the Titans will be fighting. It'll cause problems for the Titans themselves. I mean, would you trust some guy who's been alive for millions of years and runs faster than your dog? Heh. My point is to everyone your characters need to keep a low profile... not for long, though.
11. Yeah, I'm lame when it comes to Underground names. Anyways, like I promised here's the underground thread. Now any questions can be posted here, and I'll answer. I'll probably edit this sooner and give some information. I did mention in the RPG about the secondary powers being close to other elements. Like I said this would mean that your character is either close to the other person or very far away, it's not something that you need to always remember it's just something extra. Here's a list of what's close and not, the "Brother Element" (or sister, I wouldn't want to appear sexiest even though I am a girl) is what the power is also close to. Power - Element - Brother Element Heat Manipulation - Fire - Ice Nature - Earth - Beast Thunder - Electricity - Sky Temperature Manipulation - Ice - Fire Shadow Manipulation - Darkness - Light Shadow Telekinesis - Darkness - Telekinetic Light Manipulation - Light - Darkness Animal Telekinesis - Beast - Telekinetic It might be wise to ignore most of that for now. I am thinking of making something, like a move or an attack, that combines two elements. If I do you'll have to keep this in mind, I might do it as either you can't create an attack with your brother elements or you can only create an attack with your brother elements. It will possibly be that you can't, if I do use the idea, because things like Heat Manipulation and Temperature Manipulation would really be the same attack, if you think about it. But don't worry if it's confusing, I'll be rethinking the idea later. EDIT: In the event that there aren't any more elements left and people what to join (I doubt this anyway), or that people can think of better elements, then post them here. There are 11 Titans so far, I'll go for a max' of 15. If you have any suggestions please post them here.
12. A/N: I remember awhile back I did an RPG called Titans: Fight the Apocalypse? well; this will be like that? only better. Earth was never peaceful, but that was humanity?s fault. Other than that they hadn?t been harmed. All the monsters and evil beings in fairytales never really attacked anyone, everything was down to humanity. From the beginning of time humans were doomed to be violent to each other, that would be their downfall. However, there was another threat. The demons, the monsters, the silly little tales about dragons and knights were all made up, but they were based on the real tales of heroes defending humanity. Not only were the humans doomed to be killed by themselves; they were also doomed to be killed by the most disgusting and vicious of monsters. Yet today, humanity strives, with no indication that such evil creatures had ever attacked them. Why? Well, it was all down to the handy work of the Titans, the Guardian Angels of a doomed race of ape-like savages, who never grew up. The origin of these beings is unknown, legend has it they aren?t from Earth; other legends say they are the offspring of god?s. What is certain is that the Titans had been around since the dawning of mankind, and even before that. While the Earth was developing so were these beings, they discovered the power inside them, their abilities, their knowledge. As time passed they discovered others like themselves and they all got along very well, it was even said some fell in love. All that aside their destiny became clear, and it was something they couldn?t avoid. Humanity was being put on a lifelong, unfair trial; they had to fend off their own people and the likes of evil. The Titans didn?t know what humans would turn into, but they thought that it was unfair and cruel that powerful beings should be pitied against such weak creatures. They knew that humans could achieve so much, and from the day they realised the threats that awaited humanity they took their place as its Guardians. The Titans fought evil from all corners of the world as humans developed. They couldn?t comprehend the violence around them, but what they saw was burned in their memory and later became the reason for tales of demons and dragons being fought off by marvellous heroes. The destruction of the dinosaurs was in fact the work of the Titans, a mistake some say, and a good one at that. But humanity grew and the Titans had fought off most threats, there was no need for them to stay together. They didn?t want to be found out, so they each split up, into what humans had called ?countries? and personally defended them in their medieval stages. What the Titans did for humanity was a favour that could never be paid back, and what they had gotten themselves into was a job that they couldn?t quit. After awhile the countries they defended didn?t need defending anymore. Humans were getting smarter, they risked being discovered, so each Titan did what their instincts told them and they looked back on humanity and decided it was time they rested. ?And they slept for along time? While they slept a new evil was quietly brewing beneath them, the remains of the evil they had defeated so many years ago. Whoever was behind the evil had a dark mind and, when the time was right, set about using it. The evil that would soon be unleashed on the world of mortals seemed to be bad enough for the devil himself to have given birth too. Although, it seemed that it was not the work of one man and his evil intentions, but much more. Humanity wasn?t aware of it, however the Titans were. Earth had been plagued by three types of evil: The Cosmorians, the power of the Universe in their hands. They possess dark telepathic powers beyond comprehension, they vary from person to person, some are able to utterly destroy the minds of their opponents while others can manipulate the shadows to do their bidding. They are at the top of the evil, the highest-ranking menace. Fallen Angels, their name refers to the myths and tales of Lucifer being cast out from heaven, a fallen angel. They have the brilliant minds of geniuses and the beautiful wings of Guardian Angels, yet they have dark hearts and evil coursing through their veins. Like the Cosmorians they?re human looking, but looks can be deceiving. Wings don?t make man an angel. The Anthropomethians, animals with the qualities of man. Half man, half animal, all savage. They strive on the thrill of the hunt, they know nothing else but their instincts and what their superiors tell them. Sometimes they can be smart but they?ll never act on it, they?re too afraid of their masters. However the smart ones tend to mock their victims before gauging their eyes out. They used to defend the world as one, then they split and defend countries on their own. The beings responsible for such insane creations will be unlike any evil they have faced. But years of being alone with no help from their comrades and years of sleeping doesn?t mean they?ll all wake up and be friends again. The choice is whether they choose to defend their chosen country or choose to fight alongside their allies. The Awakening of the Titans draws near? and perhaps the destruction of humanity. Alright, that sounded pretty lame, but I?ll be posting a Underground thread soon. If there are any questions PM me or ask them in the Underground thread (I?d prefer you use the Underground thread when it?s up, so others can see the answers). Each Titan has one main element and two secondary elements/powers. Your secondary elements/powers must tie in with your main element. You can?t have? let?s say, Fire and then have the ability to control the tides. It?s quite easy. Primary Elements Fire [Blazye] Earth [White] Sky [lkillion] Electricity [KKC] Water [Sakura] Ice [Illusion] Darkness [Sin] Light [Note: I'm afraid this Titan will have to be a girl] Beast [Vicky] Telekinetic Time [Prince Van] Secondary Elements/Powers Heat Manipulation [Blayze] Pyrokinesis [Blayze] Nature [White] Manipulation of the Ground [White] Gravity Manipulation [Ikillion] Weather Manipulation [Ikillion] Thunder [KKC] Speed [KKC] Tidal Control [Sakura] Aquatic Abilities [Sakura] Temperature Manipulation [Illusion] Freezing Abilities [Illusion] Shadow Manipulation [Sin] Dark Telekinesis [Sin] Light Manipulation Healing Abilities Morphing Abilities [Vicky] Animal Telekinesis [Vicky] Mind Reading Object Manipulation Plane Manipulation [Prince Van] Time Travel [Prince Van] You can also play a bad guy, if you wish. You can only have two secondary powers, other than that it seems to be everything covered. If you?ve noticed some of the elements and powers are quite close, like Thunder is also something to do with the Sky element. That means you could be very close to the other Titan with the Sky element or even more like enemies, if you want. My point is that the Titans will sometimes have powers that are almost the same, it?s up to you to tell me what your powers do, though. I?ll post more information in the Underground thread. Here?s the sign-up: Name: [Go wild with these names] Origin: [The place where you appeared on Earth in the beginning, or what it?s now known as, it can be anywhere since things would be different in the beginning of the world] Country: [The country you defend] Element: Powers:[Write down two from the list above and write what you can do. He can act like these animals because he knows their characteristics already. Dogarta is talented at morphing into different animals, however over the years his abilities had faded. He can transform every part of his body except his eyes which remain a hollow red. Animal Telekinesis This allows Dogarta to communicate with animals; it works best with wild animals. It means he has a small amount of telekinesis among humans but not strong enough to talk with them mind to mind, Dogarta knows that humans have drifted away from their animalistic past and can?t communicate with them properly because of this. Weapons: None. Appearance: Dogarta [CLICK] Personality: A lean and powerful beast of a man. Though what he appears to be is nothing to what he really is. Dogarta is a nice guy most of the time, he knows when people are joking and knows when they?re not, he?ll occasionally crack a joke himself. When it comes to his friends he?s very protective of them and wouldn?t mind taking the bullet for them. When it comes to his enemies he?s ruthless and smart mouthed, always appearing arrogant and all-powerful in front of them. Dogarta has a warm heart to others, always aiming to protect them, and that?s something he holds to his heart. He won?t let the people who have been his friends for so many centuries be destroyed. Although he is warm hearted towards his friends he isn?t warm hearted towards anything else. In terms of relationships, Dogarta is cold as a wall. Although it thought that he might have actually fallen in love with one of the other Guardians in the past there is no indication of it now. Dogarta is bound by duty to protect his friends and nothing more, he appears happy and supportive, but he won?t let anyone see past that. He finds that crying and letting others see his emotions is weak and would be his downfall so he tries not to let his enemy see deeper inside him? or his friends. Biography: Dogarta awoke in a land of animals and from that moment he knew what he could do. He didn?t know what the world around him was, he didn?t even know who he was, only what he was capable of. The first few weeks of his existence were spent wandering in the land that is now Africa, exploring and discovering the different animals in the land. Each day that past he dared to explore more, going further than he had ever gone, until he finally discovered others like himself. He had travelled an amazing length across the world by himself, the first other Titan he met was a master of Time. Dogarta wasn?t a very smart being, he was more animal than genius, he didn?t know as much as the other Titans. When he did meet the rest of them something inside him clicked into place and instead of continuing as a savage animal man he became talented, more intelligent, more like the rest. The events that took place shortly after Dogarta meeting the other Titans is unknown, perhaps the others know it but Dogarta has only vague impressions of what happened. He remembered the talks and discussions about humanity, the fact that all the Titans agreed that humans were being unfairly trialled. He remembered after that their first battle against a menacing demon, but only vaguely. It seemed shortly after that Dogarta had suffered a massive blow to the head and although there was no after-effects at the time it seemed to affect his memories later on. There was at least a hundred-year gap in his memory, from their first battle and hundred years onwards. Dogarta can?t remember much though he does remember being in love with another Titan, yet he can?t remember whom, and no one ever told him. He does recall the time when the Titans spread out more across the globe, together. Though fought all sorts of things, from normal creatures to supernatural evils. One of Dogarta?s favourite enemies was an extraterrestrial being who frequently tried to use the Earth?s creatures against them. Time passed and Dogarta grew closer to the Titans, he didn?t even know they were going to grow apart. As the human?s middle ages drew closer the Titans decided they should split up so they didn?t risk being found out, at first Dogarta agreed with it and decided to defend what would soon become Britain instead of his home in Africa. He knew that it wasn't his duty to defend animals, it was his duty to protect humans. As time passed Dogarta created legends in lands such as Wales and Scotland, from the Loch Ness to dragons, and he soon realised that he would possibly never see the other Titans again. Dogarta spent a few years among humans when the attacks had died down. He learnt a few things about them, he learnt how disgusting they could be, and he thought that their savage fighting reminded him of himself when he had first awoken. When he grew bored of being one of them he set about watching them, distant from the only friends he had known. The time came when he realised that there was no need for him to stay watching them if there was no trouble, and like the rest of the Titans he decided to rest. His chosen resting place was beneath Snowdonia, Wales. When he awoke he found he had a one hundred year gap in his memory, which he wasn't very happy about. A/N: I perhaps should have mentioned this before, but if you wish to join and there are no positions left, or what you wanted has been taken, then you can still join by posting a better sign-up than the person who took it. However, if they were reserved or their name is already on the list, then you will have to PM me first and ask if I'm keeping them for the RPG.
13. Fantastic! (David Tennant hasn't gotten his catchphrase yet... damn) Jokopoko says he's not too sure about playing the Doctor now, so the for time being we can make the Doctor an NPC. That means everyone can now post, and if Jokopoko wishes he can play the position of the Doctor again at any time =) Since both SunfallE and Blazye had posts ready that would introduce the Doctor one of you will have to decide who wants to introduce him, heh. But anyway, feel free to post, I'll be posting again shortly after the Doctor is introduced.
14. If you would like to continue the story then we could, I could get hold of Jokopoko and Blazye to see if they still want to do it. Either way I'll probably post soon, but if Blazye and Jokopoko aren't doing it anymore then we do have a bit of a problem. We might have to find someone else, if you and SunfallE would like to continue, heh. Sorry for the late reply as well, been busy with school ^_^;;

Epidemic [M-LSV]

OOC: Sorry I took awhile to reply, I was actually going to on Friday but someone broke my modem. By the way Lan, since I'm fighting with your character tell me if I got anything wrong and I'll change it. They all looked good enough to eat, but Carnnivore had his eyes on the boy. If the brief pause they all shared he ran his tongue across his teeth, to check if they were too sharp, still good enough for the job. Then, in the same instant everyone else moved, he sprung forward and grabbed H by the waist. Carnivore's height over H was magnificent, and so was his weight, which meant that they both crashed into the doors to the private box. Carnivore was expecting to hit a floor any moment so he could begin slashing his prey up, but he didn't. Instead he found that he lost his grib on H when the back of his head smashed into a metal staircase. He ended up falling down in the middle of a crowd, who quickly backed away. Carnivore didn't look at them once, instead he looked around for H. He wasn't there, he should have been crushed under his own weight. "Where the fuck are you, kid?" he growled, getting to his feet and rubbing his head. Just when he turned around he was hit in the face by something hard. His guess was a foot or the handle of a knife, whichever it was it sent him into the bar. Instinctively, not knowing where his attacker was, he picked up the bottle of alcohol beside him and lauched it. Instead of hitting his attacker he hit a bystander in the face who fell to the ground, clutching his head in his heads and making a noise like a wounded mutt. Carnivore growled in frustration. "Too slow?" H asked from somewhere in the room. Carnivore took one glance at the carnage above him and then decided he wasn't going to take any bullshit from a child. H was coming up from his side with his blades, really to slice Carnivore's head off. Carnivore saw him this time. As H approached him he turned and slammed his hand around his throat. H looked a little surprised, but not as surprised as he was going to be. Carnivore lifted H off the ground in one quick move and slammed him against the bar, pushing his head on the glass with his other hand. "What blood type are you? No wait, don't tell me... I think I'll be patience and wait." Carnivore said, mockingly. He lifted H up again and threw him on the floor, placing his knee on H's chest so he couldn't get up. Carnivore wasn't going to make the same mistake of letting him go again. Carnivore raised his hand and was about the ram it into H's nose, but he was stopped. His eyes widened when he noticed the end of a blade coming out through the back of his hand. Normally, this would have made someone scream in pain and cower somewhere, but not Carnivore, it just made him angry. He would have attacked, but H had taken that brief moment to move away from Carnivore. When Carnivore got up and shook his hand, spilling blood all over the place, he was greeted with another blade. This time he caught H's hand and pulled him closer before sinking his teeth into the boy's arm.
16. Doctor Who "It?s times like these I wish I had my sonic screwdriver." The Eighth Doctor ~*~ Episode Cast The Doctor Jokopoko Amber Wilkey SunfallE Agent Alexander Kremona Blazye Romana III Vicky Bethany Spencer Aaryanna ~*~ The Doctor. A Time Lord, an extraterrestrial from the planet Gallifrey, who travels in a time machine called the TARDIS ? Time And Relative Dimensions In Space ? that allows him to reach any point in time and space and is dimensionally transcendental.. The TARDIS originally had the ability to disguise itself according to its environment, but became "stuck" in the form of a police box after landing in London in 1963 and has remained in that shape ever since due to a malfunctioning chameleon circuit. The Doctor has since given up attempting to repair or replace the circuit as he has grown fond of the police box shape. For the most part, and usually because the vessel's navigation system is old and unreliable, the Doctor explores the universe at random and uses his extensive knowledge of science and advanced technology to heroically avert the crises that he encounters. The Doctor has, at various times, been accompanied by companions who have chosen to travel with him for a variety of reasons. The Doctor, like all Time Lords, has the ability to regenerate, changing his appearance each time he does. New adventures await each newly regenerated Doctor with both old and new enemies just waiting for him, as well as new companions. Cybermen, Daleks, Vampires, Alien Invasions, Civil Wars and TARDIS Malfunctions are just a few of the things lurking in the untold adventures of the Eighth Doctor. ~*~ Eighth Impressions ?Having finally rid himself and his fellow Time Lords of the renegade known as The Master, The Doctor has resumed his wanderings. As one would expect the TARDIS has returned him to Earth, given this Planet has a healthy supply of Companions for the Doctor. However U.N.I.T. have made preparations for the return of The Doctor.? ~*~ There hadn?t been anything interesting on Earth for a long time, nothing that anyone else knew about, anyway. UNIT had been hiding a few minor secrets, but a part from that there were no aliens trying to invade, no ancient superpowers rising from the grave to take their revenge, nothing out of the ordinary, really. It was in those boring times that Romana sometimes wished she was still travelling with the Doctor; or maybe it was just London that was boring. After all, they had quite a fascinating adventure in France. However, there were other ways to keep occupied. Like matchsticks. Romana had found that building a scale model of the Notre Dame Cathedral was interesting and time consuming; she was even occupied by it while a guest was visiting. James Evans, a retired UNIT officer who had befriended Romana. ?Hmm? how am I supposed to do the windows?? Romana muttered to herself. ?Ah, Quality Street wrappers.? ?Can?t you stop that?? James asked. He was a short, old and wise. Plus he knew for a fact Romana had no real friends. ?No, not yet,? she looked up vaguely from the box of Quality Streets and eyed him. ?Did you eat all the red ones?? ?What? No!? ?How am I supposed to do the stained glass without red? ?I might have some Roses around here somewhere to use?? she felt that she should at least pay some attention to James, so she made some conversation. ?So, heard anything from UNIT?? ?I?m retired.? ?I know that.? She grumbled. ?Well, I have heard that the whole organisation is on red alert. I suppose you already know that, but there?s been a lot of activity going on. I don?t know much, you won?t either, it?s all for the full-time members. Apparently there?s something going on with those artefacts they found- ? ?Stole.? ?What? Oh, alright. Well all I?ve heard is that UNIT?s on edge, again. Someone?s been trying to hack into their computers, you know.? ?I know that, I?m not stupid.? She grumbled again and swore when she dropped a few matchsticks. ?That means they?ll start asking for my help if they?re on edge.? ?Probably. They need a translator, you know.? ?There?s more people than me. Isn?t there that kid who translates ancient inscriptions? Whatever the hell UNIT is up to they could ask her. I didn?t even know they were up to anything until you just said.? ?She works with ancient inscriptions, not alien translation. I think there?s been some activity in space as well as on Earth; I bet they think there?s going to be another invasion. Things have been quiet for sometime now? I remember back when that old science advisor would come and go? never caught his name? nice man, really. He was a little eccentric, mind you.? James began to drift off, pondering on the man from his past. Romana stopped ripping Quality Street wrappers and looked up. ?I didn?t know UNIT had a scientific advisor?? she lied. ?You do now. I have to be going now, I?m afraid. I?m sure UNIT will contact you tomorrow.? James said. He got up and gave a polite nod in Romana?s direction. She smiled back. ?You know where the door is.? She told him. James just laughed and found his own way out. Damn UNIT, always finding patterns in things that were totally irrelevant. There was probably nothing going on, as usual, and they were just making up excuses to dig up old evidence or create some kind of public threat. Maybe they were getting bored. James wasn?t a very reliable source; he was retired, he didn?t know everything that was going on. But if James was right and UNIT was going to call her in it was a chance to show them her latest version of the translation software she had been working on, completely void of glitches. It was surprising how helpful a broken TARDIS could be, the only downfall was that before she took it apart it may still have flown, now it has no chance. Maybe it was a mistake giving UNIT technology from her TARDIS. But who was going to stop her? The Time Lords? An alien race she?d never heard of? The Doctor? If it were any of them they would have stopped her already, and they hadn?t, so it was safe to say she was in the clear. Still, it didn?t mean it was okay to hand out technology that was so much more advanced than any human on the planet. She brushed aside the curtain for the window and watched to make sure James had gone. He was a nice old guy, she didn?t really ask to be his friend, he probably just felt sorry for her. It was through UNIT mostly, James had only recently retired. It didn?t matter how well she knew him, though, he was still just another person, formerly working for UNIT. If UNIT ever found out about her TARDIS then she would be in a lot of trouble. Abandoning her Notre Dame model (it was taking forever, anyway), she made her way to the backdoor. On the way there she stopped at a small desk and opened one of the draws, revealing a small white box. She shook it against her ear gently to make sure everything was in it, then proceeded to the backdoor. She stopped before opening it, remembering to take a flashlight in case the TARDIS?s lights weren?t working again. Outside it was dark and cold, but Romana didn?t mind. It would probably be darker and colder in the TARDIS. Her backyard was pretty straightforward, a long lawn basically, with a shed at the end. In some ways the old wooden shed fitted in perfectly, but there was still something about it that made it stand out more than anything else in her yard (like there was anything else). Upon reaching the old shed Romana gave one last look around, making sure no one was watching. Cautiously she pulled a necklace over her head from around her neck and looked around again (it really was a nosey neighbourhood). The key was long, spiky and certainly wouldn?t fit any other lock on Earth, except the TARDIS?s. She placed the key in the lock and pushed the door, but it didn?t open on request. Frustrated, she lent against the door with her shoulder and banged it until it opened. Bloody TARDIS. Yep, it was indeed colder and darker than outside. What could you expect? Hardly anything in the TARDIS worked, in fact, nothing worked. Closing the door behind her she switched on the torch and directed it to the console. Well, the half-console. She looked at the different buttons on the console and flicked a few switches, no surprised to hear not a single buzz or response. There was, however, a dim flash of light seemingly from all around. It was dim, but it was still light. ?Oh, so you?re feeling like cooperating now, are you?? she hissed. The TARDIS retorted with what little life it had left and the dim lights faded. Romana just sighed. ?And I?m supposed to care because??? she asked. She didn?t care if she was going mad, talking to a machine that wasn?t alive, and even if it was it was surely dead. It was nothing like the Doctor?s old thing, just components herself and K9 had put together. ?I?m taking the rest of your wires for my translator, you don?t mind, do you?? she asked again. Obviously there was no reply.
17. So that's what Jokopoko spent all my money on... damn... Two words: you rock. Seriously, it was a pretty awesome chapter. Jokopoko told me to go read it and I'm glad I did, you did a great job (as usual). I can't wait for more =D I'd love to comment more and stuff, but I'm not sure what to put. I'll just leave and say, once more, that you rock and the chapter was brilliant.
18. Whoops, sorry this took so long, guys, but the RPG should be starting tomorrow. And what's an RPG without a cast? Accepted SunfallE - Amber Wilkey - The Doctor's Companion Blazye - Agent Alexander Kremona - The Doctor's Companion Jokopoko - The Doctor Vicky [Me] - Romana III - The Doctor's Companion Aaryanna - Bethany Spencer Rejected Raze_3103 - Coal Sorry Raze, maybe next time =). Alright, firstly let me say that everyone's sign-up was awesome, yours as well Aaryanna, but obviously it would be hard to have that many companions tagging along. Your character can be involved in the first story of the RPG and even ones later on (if you still wish to participate). The stories which your character won't be involved in simply means you can play a different character in the story, like I mentioned before. I'll be PMing everyone later on when the RPG starts, so if you're still interested in playing later on in the story then you can. Also there has been a slight change to the way the episodes will be played. Don't worry, I'll either edit the Underground thread or give you the information through PM.
19. Name: James Cartwright aka ?Carnivore? Gender: Male Age: 32 Gang: Epidemic Weapon of Choice: James doesn?t really carry any heavy weapons; he prefers to tear people a part himself without the use of a gun. He does, however, carry a combat knife. James finds it?s a very useful weapon in close combat and helps cut through the tougher people. Specialty: James has strong, sharp teeth, and a powerful bite to go with it. This is also the same with his nails, stronger and sharper than normal, enough to rip the skin off someone?s face if he wanted to. Another animal characteristic is his hair, thick hair on his arms and even on his face that makes him seem more vicious and animalistic. He is stronger than normal, strong enough to hold down his victims while he attacks them. This could be due to his childhood when he would attack and fight with his brothers, but his strength is quite something, a little too much of a something to be just from his violent past. Appearance: Here Personality: The codename Carnivore is a pretty accurate description of James, especially with his personality. He has an obsession with blood and death, death of other people that is. He doesn?t really care who dies or lives unless they?re on his side, the only people he really cares about is the Epidemic. He?s vicious, angry, sick and twisted, and he doesn?t hesitate to kill people. Though he?s in a group he?ll only take orders from the Epidemic and no one else, there?s no reason to so he shouldn?t have to. He can think for himself, he?s not a mindless killer who kills people when told to, because if someone who could rightfully give him orders told him to commit suicide for no reason, he wouldn?t do it. James won?t do something unless the reason is good enough for him? if it involves killing then it?s always good enough for him. He?s never been a good person, never been helpful, never wanted to help anyone. He?s always been a very intimidating bully who threw insults at the smaller children and used his advantages properly. He isn?t a man of words or a diplomat, though when he does speak to the enemy it?s never words of encouragement or thanks, it?s always teasing, mockery and anger. He loves to mock people, bully them around if he can, because it makes him feel better and it?s in his nature. Make him angry, though, and he loses his will to talk and begins to wonder how your blood will taste. Bio: James comes from a long line of cannibals, pretty unknown throughout the world simply because of the fact that they don?t want people to know about their bloodline. However, James? grandfather was responsible for their last name, Cartwright. Originally it was Cartibeus, but his great grandfather ended up making the name Cartibeus well known with his actions and the fact that they were cannibals wasn?t very well hidden anymore. After the incident with James? grandfather the rest of the family decided there was no need to go around eating other people anymore, thus ceasing their tradition. James was born into a somewhat normal family with two older brothers and two seemingly normal parents, all of which had seemingly forgotten about their original name and what it meant. That wasn?t the case for James. He was very different from them and seemed instinctively determined to carry on the family?s tradition, no matter how sick people thought it was. He started acting more and more like his infamous great grandfather when he was able to walk, run and punch people properly. James would spend a lot of his days picking fights with his brothers, constantly attacking them, biting them and digging into them with his sharp nails. He seemed determined to kill them, and even his parents. James was a vicious boy, he didn?t care about much, and he caused a lot of pain and arguments in his house, as well as a lot of suspicious among neighbours wanting to know what all the fuss was about and why his two brothers ended up with some many cuts. Basically, James was tearing his family apart, piece by piece, and he didn?t care. How he had learned of his family?s past is unknown, all that was certain was that he knew and he was using everything he gained from the past to his advantage. When James was ten he attacked one of his brothers more viciously than ever before when he gave him a lot of crap. James was angry at the fact that he was being called names and the fact that, despite all his hurting of them, they hadn?t learnt what he could do. At this point it was obvious that his jaw and teeth were stronger than normal, since he successfully ripped his brother?s arm off. This was a terrible sight for his parents and was a terrible lose for his brother, it wasn?t long until James found himself living with his incredibly strict auntie and her champion husband, a weightlifter. James was never close to his auntie, nor were his parents, it was obvious that he was put there to be kept under control, especially since he could never fight off his auntie?s husband. He did try, far too often, and always failed to overpower him. During his high school years James became a bully, a very good one at that. He was a large boy for his age and didn?t take crap from no one, if they did give him crap he would reply to them by trying to chew off their arms. He hadn?t forgotten what his family used to be, he hadn?t forgotten what he was meant to be, and because of this human blood and death was something he found pleasure him. He had been to numerous high schools, being thrown out of one after the other due to his vicious and violent behaviour. That didn?t stop him. There was one instant during his last year in school when he attacked a girl and lived up to his family?s real name by eating half of her alive. This wasn?t kept quiet so James had no choice but to run away as far as he could and not look back. Luckily he found a nice place to stay? Bolest City. He made a name there, known for his savage way of killing people and his undying thirst for blood and murder. Whatever he did after that didn?t matter, he had escaped for the authorities and was free to do what he liked, eat what he liked, kill whom he liked. Writing Sample: Everyone knew James; he was the big kid, the scary kid, the guy who would get in your way so he could push you out of his. Everyone knew James, and they were all afraid of him, too. People would dare each other just to insult James while he was in the same room, but no one would insult him above a whisper in case he heard. He would attack people when he wouldn?t get caught, he?d force them not to tell on him, but he didn?t care to be honest. It was his last school year; being thrown out would make no difference. He hadn?t learnt anything from school anyway; he was only good at the physical activities. School used to be fun when it started, there was no respect for James, he had to earn it. In his last year nobody was ready to mess with him, it was kind of boring, to be honest. Though there was always the thrill of a new kid. Sure, people would bully the new kid at every school James had ever been it, but it was a different case for James. New kids in the last year didn?t know what he was capable of, and they always thought that because they were in the last year, too, they could do anything. They had no respect for James because new kids didn?t know him, and no one was going to tell the new kid about James? maybe out of fear, maybe for the entertainment. John Anderson was the new kid, he was pretty tough, or so he thought. Being a new kid he didn?t want to be pushed around, he only talked to a few people occasionally and he normally knocked someone back when they ran into him on the corridors. Fortunately, he hadn?t had a run in with James? yet. It was an average, boring day in English, nothing much was happening. Half the class was asleep from Mr. Burn?s babbling? something to do with exams? James didn?t know. He was half asleep himself, seated at the back of the class next to his ?friend?, Peter, the short-*** badass, small kid, big punch. Lucky he was small; James took up most of the table. ?Hey,? James grunted, pushing Peter?s head forcefully. ?Who?s the new kid?? he asked. He knew there was a new guy in school; he just hadn?t bothered to ask who he was. ?You don?t know?? Peter would have laughed, if he were a little taller and about five times stronger. ?Uh, I think he?s called John or somethin?, I dunno. Think?s he?s some kind of hotshot, pushes people back if they knock him, don?t take any ****. A lot like you in your first year if you ask me?? At that remark James slammed his fist down on Pete?s hand, making a loud bang that caused the teacher to look up briefly. James gave him a sarcastic smile when he continued to ramble. ?I?ll put your head on a stick in my garden if you say that again, you little piece of ****!? he snarled. He took Pete?s exercise book and aimed it over at a black haired boy sat at the front. He was fairly tall, causally dressed and seemed like a sort of emo-goth, really. ?Teach him,? he growled. He chucked the book across the classroom and almost jumped up in triumph when it smacked the new kid right on the back of his head. The teacher looked up briefly and eyed James suspiciously. ?Detention.? He stated bluntly. James didn?t care. He was looking at John, who had turned around and was glaring at him hatefully. He looked tough indeed, but he was nothing. ?Loser.? John mouthed from across the room. James? eyes widened. ?That little ******? monster?? he grunted. ?He?s ******? dead meat. I ain?t staying for that stupid detention, I?ll corner the little ****** outside, you wanna watch?? James told Pete. Pete just gave a vacant nod while James cracked his large knuckles. ?Chop suey, he?s chop suey?? There was a part of Pete that wanted to tell James that he didn?t want to watch him dismantle some poor misguided hotshot, but there was a bigger part of him that was afraid to say no. You can?t be friends with James without sacrifices; you can?t be friends with James without enduring a few broken bones now and then. It was after school, everyone was going home, excluding James, who was waiting for Pete. He limited patient was reaching it?s limit. He didn?t want to beat up the John boy without Pete by his side, it felt good when people were watching. He liked to entertain. Looking down the corridor, James noticed Pete was running up the corridor. James wasn?t waiting anymore; he waved his hand at Pete, an indicator to follow, and made his way towards his victim. He was leaning against the gates to the school; waiting for a girl he had met whom he had agreed to walk home with everyday for the past week or so. Sarah was her name; they had gotten to know each other pretty well. Why wasn?t she here? She was normally on time. Maybe she had detention? Sighing, he looked over to the main school doors, and watched a large boy come towards him. Ah, he knew him. James. He had never spoken to him, but he wasn?t going to be intimidated. He whistled at James. ?Hey chicken ****, let?s see how tough you are when you?re fightin?, you big fat bully!? Alright, John had to admit, it wasn?t his best insult, but it certainly got James going. There was even a twinge of fear in John when he saw James run forward. John tried to smirk proudly when James was right in front of him, actually hoping he would stop and see his smirk, but James didn?t. Like a rhino on a mission, James charged with his hand out, slamming his palm into his victim?s face and digging his claws into John?s hair. He kept charging with John in his grasp until his tiny prey smashed into the wall. James felt as if John?s skull had crushed under the force, but that wasn?t the case. The blood may have told a different story. ?Chicken?? snarled James. John had gotten up and was making his way towards the road, out of school, out of the school?s hands. ?Oh, and I?m not fat, I?m on a strict diet.? He snarled again, thwacking John with the back of his hand. None stop assault was James? way, so he smacked him again with the back of his fist. And again. And again, until he suddenly felt it seemed a little feminine. ?Jesus Christ! What the hell is wrong with you?? blurted the new kid. James stopped momentarily, and shrugged. ?Uh? I guess I?m a psycho or something.? He said, dumbly. Creativity kicked in at that moment and James grabbed John?s black hair and began to drag him around. ?You?ve got hair like a girl,? he commented. John dropped to the floor and James decided to pull him along. He began to drag the new kid along the roadside, picking up speed as he ran and feeling like some kind of god when he heard jeans ripping and, possibly, skin. He stopped and turned around to see a thin trail of blood on the concrete from John?s back and legs. Well, that wasn?t going to do. John was quivering, or so it seemed. He wasn?t a hotshot anymore. And James was going to make he had respect from the new guy now. Letting go of John?s hair he stood over John and looked at him. There was a strange urge to remove his skull and taste his blood, an urge James was used to. He grabbed John?s shirt and pulled him closer, like he was going to hug him, but instead he sunk his teeth into his neck, an act of a vampire, a pleasure of a cannibal. He kept at this until he was satisfied, until half the skin and flesh was removed from John?s shoulder blade. John fell limp on the floor, gasping, moaning and quivering uncontrollably. James wanted to eat him, really, he did, but Pete was coming. He didn?t want to do that in front of a short-*** yet. ?You?ve got a wild temper?? Pete gulped. James smiled a toothy smile and looked down at John before wiping his mouth. ?Wasn?t hungry today, I guess?? Eh... sorry about the writing sample length ^_^;; can't help it...
20. Alright, awesome! I'm not going to post who's in and whatnot right now, but I will sooner or later in the Underground thread or just here. Sign-up's are still open, I'm really just posting my profile right now. Well done everyone! By the way Blayze... is that the dude off The Libarian: Quest for the Spear? Or something like that... dunno I watched something and it looks like him, lol. Name: Romanadvoratrelundar ?Romana? Age: About 500 years Gender: Female Race: Gallifreyan (Time Lord/Lady) Origin: Gallifrey Weapons/Gadgets: None Special Skills/Abilities: Like all Time Lord?s, Romana has the ability to regenerate twelve times and is currently on her 3rd regeneration. She possesses all the abilities of a Time Lord and all of their skills, including being very intelligent (and scoring top marks in the Academy). She knows the TARDIS components inside out, from being a Time Lord and also due to the fact that she had to build her own TARDIS in E-Space from K9?s specifications and has the Tharil?s point of view of time added to her knowledge. It?s quite sufficient to say that her made skills are temporal physics, her wit and her Time Lord abilities on top of all that. Position: UNIT's Specialist Advisor/The Doctor?s Companion Appearance: Personality: Romana III is a lot like her predecessors whilst having her own traits, as well. Like her first incarnation Romana has a habit of a little arrogant sometimes, delivering cold remarks or sarcastic comments, especially to those who would be considered inferior. This is rare but is something she?s been known for on Earth. She respects many people after knowing them over time (another trait of her first incarnation) and will actually listen to a stupid solution without adding a sarcastic comment. She enjoys adventures, mostly, being somewhat brave and bold (but not stupidly brave) and not afraid to tackle the more dangerous situations. Her sarcasm and smart-mouthed comments were mostly developed from her time on Earth, obviously being somewhat arrogant she eventually voiced her opinions which turned into her well-known put downs and comments (like stated before, this has become quite rare of Romana to be very harsh in her comments). There are still a lot of her second incarnation lurking in there, like her bravery and adventure. If she likes you and you?re her friend, she?s a nice person. If she doesn?t like you or she doesn?t know you then you could expect some cold put-downs from her. A new trait of hers is that she?s quite distance, for instance she has never once mentioned the TARDIS on Earth to anyone who would have known about it nor is she ever willing to discuss the events in E-Space before her arrival on Earth. Biography: (I'll edit this when I find my DVD's and her information on it) Romana I was chosen to accompany the Doctor on a mission to find the Key to Time by the White Guardian. At that time she frowned down at the Doctor and enjoyed icy-put downs or seeing him fall into a net while explaining some rules (my personal favourite), it was sufficient to say she say him as her intellectual inferior and even teased him about his low Academy results (in which the Doctor got his own back by making fun of her name). In time Romana came to respect the Doctor as a teacher and successfully helped him locate the Key to Time before her regeneration. Romana II took the form of Princess Astra whom the Doctor and Romana both met while finding the last segment of the Key to Time. Romana?s second incarnation was a little more ?intimate? with the Doctor than her predecessor, and it seemed that she shared the Doctor?s adventurous nature a little. Their first adventure involved the Daleks and their last adventure took place in E-Space. The TARDIS en route to Gallifrey somehow travelled through a CVE (Charged Vacuum Emboitment), which landed them in Exo-Space, or E-Space. On their last adventure the Doctor and Romana encountered the Tharils, time sensitive beings a lot like the Gallifreyans. Tharils were being enslaved and instead of going back to N-Space with the Doctor Romana decided to stay, saying she wanted to make her own path. She took K-9 with her who had the specifications to build a TARDIS inside him and stayed with the Tharils in E-Space. Whatever happened after that is pretty much unknown. Romana hasn?t spoken of it nor has she any evidence that she even went to E-Space. She somehow managed to get back to N-Space on her own, however her TARDIS was damaged beyond repair and K-9 just wasn?t with her. Earth was, strangely, the nearest planet and Romana stayed there. The TARDIS took the disguise of an old shed (not very creative, I know) and Romana used any of the parts she could get to sell off or make her life better. Somehow she managed to get involved with UNIT and used some of the components from the TARDIS to create the Translation Software that can translate languages from Scyoraxian to Slitheen (given time, Romana claims that UNIT has slow computers that aren?t very good when it comes to translating alien languages). Romana was well aware that a book from Gallifrey was dangerous and it?s technology could be even more dangerous but that didn?t stop her from using it. Although she is responsible for the translation software UNIT has, Romana is only involved with UNIT and isn?t really considered a ?full-time member?. She?s one of those who comes and goes, only ever being around UNIT when they need her for something. Romana is currently living in England.
21. Alright... there was a slight mix up with the rating, the RPG is rated PG-V, no S. Yes, it's Jokopoko's fault =p. Alright, the title says it all. Doctor Who Underground! First things first, this is how the actual RPG will work: The RPG will work in a chapter system, or close enough. Episodes will take place instead of chapters with something different happening per episode (there might in fact be episodes with more than one part). Here's the good part: it's Doctor Who, the stories can be anything that would fit as an episode (meaning no breaking the rules of the show), and being Doctor Who there's a lot to do. Anyone who joins and makes it into the RPG will have a chance to think of an episode, after the first few of course. All the companions will be in each episode, and other characters will be listed. If you're not a companion and signed up to be one you'll still be in the RPG (granted your sign-up is acceptable). You can have the chance to play a key character per episode. You can either check this thread for the up coming episodes and what characters are available and PM me to ask for one of them, or you can wait and I'll PM you with the characters available for the next episode. No one gets left out. Like I said before everyone gets a chance to think of their own story later on, since it'll be fun, but right now I'm open to suggestions for stories. Feel free to post any ideas of comments; this is the Underground thread, afterall. That's all the information I can post right now, they'll be more on the RPG soon. Any questions, ask here.
22. Doctor Who "It?s times like these I wish I had my sonic screwdriver." The Eighth Doctor ~*~ The Doctor. ~*~ Episode One Eighth Impressions ?Having finally rid himself and his fellow Time Lords of the renegade known as The Master, The Doctor has resumed his wanderings. As one would expect the TARDIS has returned him to Earth, given this Planet has a healthy supply of Companions for the Doctor. However U.N.I.T. have made preparations for the return of The Doctor.? ~*~ Name: Age: Gender: [Male, Female? let?s keep it at that, heh] Race: [Feel free to make up your own or from the series] N/B: If you make up your own please give some details. Origin: [Home planet, basically] Items/Gadgets: [Self explanatory, really] Special Skills/Abilities: Position: [Position in the storyline or if you?re in UNIT or something then it can be your position there as well] Appearance: [Image or description will do] Personality: Biography: [Well, I?m not really looking for length but the minimum will be 3 paragraphs or so] ~*~ Side note: There will only be a few companions tagging along in the TARDIS, but that doesn?t mean if you?re not chosen you?re out of the RPG. Most people who aren?t picked can still play a part and can be different characters in different episodes, so don?t worry if you?re not picked. The position of the Doctor has been filled already by Jokopoko, I?d like to thank him for helping with the RPG and also Blayze, who should be signing up I hope =), they?ll be an underground thread soon for more information.
23. You're right Retribution, we should just commit suicide, and maybe I have absolutely no idea what I'm saying. I guess I'm saying that even though it may be pointless it's still fun to fill in the gap. My third paragraph was another possibility, I'm not going to just have one opinion about it. Though I'm still pretty young and don't stop to think about dying, I haven't achieved much and I don't know if there is a point. We are destined to die, there's no getting around that, and it is pretty pointless... but I find pointless things much more fun than anything else in the world. I wouldn't commit suicide, not yet, I've got a lot to live for, even though it might not do much. The only reason I won't commit suicide in the future either is probably because I want to make things better for other people when I die, make a difference for the time we have left. My point is hopeless because I'm that sort of person, I don't find a lot of hope in things because everything around is so hopeless and ironic. It's fun, pointless, but fun... and, to me, hopeless. Though my first opinion does raise some issues about why people try, I guess they just try because deep down inside most people want to make things better. Of course, those who believe in an afterlife have a reason to try, they can look back at what they've done and be proud. When you're gone you can't look back and feel proud, you won't even remember ever being proud.
24. Uh, well if you ask me there isn't much meaning. The meaning of life is to die. That's nice, isn't it? Seriously, think about it. You live, you die. Having goals and whatnot is a way of making things seem better than it is, because really you're going to die no matter what you do. That's fate, you die. At the end of everything you do, you die. So I reckon that's the meaning of life, to die. Becoming famous and having a family is just something to fill in the gap before death, life'd be pretty boring if we just accepted our fate from the moment we realised it. And as for the Mars thing, maybe that was once like Earth, since we can't go back in time we can't know (science can explain some stuff, but it can't explain everything). One day someone's going to pass Earth, or look up at it from another planet in our solar system maybe and wonder if there was ever life on that planet. That's funny. We're all going to die and when we do we'll all be forgotten sooner or later. Doesn't matter how many people we tell before we're all about to die, doesn't matter how many species actually remember us, they'll die, or forget, sooner or later, and then our memory dies, as well. I don't believe in heaven or an afterlife, I just think that when the time comes we all die and that's the end. Maybe there isn't a meaning of life. If you die, then there's not really a meaning, not really a point. I don't know. I'm actually not all "doom and gloom" when it comes to life. Sometimes I think the meaning of life is to make your own meaning and dreams, then follow them. No one make's decision for me, no one should make decisions for you, it's your life, your fate, your meaning. Make something of it.
25. Yeah, well I?m not sure what I?m going to do for it yet but I?m thinking of basing it around the time war, if it were just the Doctor then there would be a limit of characters. If it isn?t about the time war then it?ll be about a number of Time Lords, possibly renegades like the Doctor himself. I don?t want to stick completely to the series, it wouldn?t be fun if we can?t make things up that were never mentioned and really should never have happened, would it? Heh. Depending on the storyline I?ll be doing there will be both Time Lords and humans, maybe even some aliens tagging along, as well. Also, depending on the storyline again, there may be a villain; if it?s to do with the time war then I can?t see there being any villains since the war really involved the Daleks. But I haven?t decided anything yet, that?s why I?d be grateful for any ideas. Anyways, the question is: would anyone be interested? Oh, and any ideas? It?s kinda tricky to do, especially the storyline. If anyone wants to lend a hand just post your ideas here if you?d be so kind, =)
