Sarek and Canathael walked through the bushes and trees loooking for the others. They had either taken a wrong turn somewhere or were heading in the wrong direction, but they hadn't found them yet. They had passed many dinosaurs, most which didn't look harmful. A tiny one had came up towards Sarek, and when Sarek put his hand near it the little lizard bit his finger, so Sarek had stomped on it. Suddenly, Sarek heard his communicator beep. He flicked it open and heard Maya. "Sarek, where are you?" She asked. Sarek sighed heavily. "Not sure. Where abouts are you?" Sarek asked casting a 'it's your fault' look at Canathael. "Near lots of Dinosaurs. We're on the plains being passed by the large ones, we're fine, well mostly. Have you seen Canathael or Sutaru?" Maya replied. Sarek glanced around for awhile then spoke. "I'm here with Canathael, but I haven't seen Sutaru. Who are you with?" Sarek asked. He was being more careful now after the tiny dinosaur. Sarek wouldn't admit it, but the tiny bite really, really hurt. "I'm with Li and Pieter. We'll stay in the same place so you can find us, and we'll try to contact Sutaru, okay?" Maya said. Sarek nodded and replied with a simple 'fine' and flicked the communicator down. He sighed heavily again and was about to move on, but the same loud roar from before stopped him. Canathael and Sarek looked around but saw nothing. "Sir Sarek, over there!" Canathael shouted pointing to the trees. Two large dinosaurs had pushed each other through the trees, the same kind from before (T-rex) and one that as like it, but with a skinner neck and longer legs. The two beast were ripping at each other and roaring, with Canathael and Sarek stood nearby. Sarek took out his spear and held it tight in his hand while Canathael took out a dagger. "What makes you think THAT will do any good again THEM?" Sarek against, no, shouted over the dinosaurs roar. Canathael looked at his dagger and shrugged. As soon as one of the dinosaur's eyes came visable, Sarek lunged his spear at one of the dinosaurs. It hit the longer legged dinosaur in the left eye, which was all the other dinosaur needed. It bit into the one with the spear in its eye, causing the injured one to begin to fall. Sarek was about to take out his communicator, but had lost it and was too busy looking for it too notice the dinosaur falling straight for him. "Watch out!" Canathael suddenly shouted. He ran forward and rammed Sarek to the ground, out of the dinosaurs way. Sarek shook his head and stared at Canathael. "There's hope for you afterall." Sarek complimented for the first time. He and Canathael stood up, only to be staring right into the small eyes of the winning dinosaur...

Why not let them take the first hit? Next time they come up to you, or starting fooling around and annoying people, tell them to back off (or the other way, pi** off), and if they come up to you with that hard attitude just let them take the first hit. If they don't hit you but continue being annoying then keep telling them to back off. I wouldn't provoke people because then it looks like it's all our fault. Whatever you do, don't make it look like you're the one who's causing all the trouble. Make them strike first then hit them back, because you can't be blamed if you didn't take the first hit. Hitting them back is simply defending yourself. Next time they act hard and tough, I'd say show them you're not afraid of them and don't back down. Instead of provoking them to fight with words or actions, give them a kind of "Want break your neck?" or "What you lookin' at?" look and that might make them land the first hit without making you get the blame.

Consider yourself one step closer to the Old West Angelus, because we've just entered the Jurassic Age! Upon entering this place, we don't all have to stick together. We could spilt up and get into lots of trouble, so don't be afraid of getting into a fight with a bunch of dinosaurs by yourself or running into Marrek or Protosis (or even the Wolf-machine). This Chapter will be a little slower, but somewhere near Chapter Three we'll be making several jumps in one Chapter and losing each other in different time frames, you know? I just think it's best to get used to the whole RPG and our characters before making big story-line Chapters.

"The communicators should automatically be fixed after Protosis has made the jump." Dave muttered while looking over the controls. "So he is making a jump?" Sarek asked. Dave nodded slightly without taking his eyes off the controls. He was either trying to figure out where Protosis was jumping too or when he would jump. "What the?" Dave suddenly said. Sarek leaned over him and tilted his head to the side. There was a spiral shaped image on the controls, with other images of humans, space crafts and other things. It looked like some sort of timeline, and beside it were dates changing rapidly. "This timeline's right off the chart, it's too far in the past to be on our readings." "What timeline is it?" Sarek asked. "Jurassic." Dave said. "Luckily I know enough about it. It's full of dinosaurs. You won't need to change your clothes or anything in this age, but you'll need to protect yourself against the dinosaurs, somehow... Pieter's gun will do you some good and swords, but not very good if you come across a big dinosaur." Dave explained. Sarek didn't reply, but turned his head when he saw Maya and Canathael with Pieter. Sarek turned back and looked at the Chinese lady, who he presumed was Li. Sarek hadn't given his name to everyone so not many of them knew him. Suddenly, Sutaru came in with a puzzled look. "Done yet?" Sarek asked Dave not taking notice of Sutaru. "Yeah. Here, give them back to everyone." Dave said handing them to Sarek. Sarek nodded. "You two!" Sarek shouted bitterly over to Canathael and Maya. "I have a name, you know, it's Maya, and he's Canathael so don't be so rude!" Snapped Maya. Sarek didn't reply, and threw them the communicators. He handed one to Li and threw two to Pieter, who passed one to Sutaru. "Right... I've set everything up, you should all run down to the portal. I'll give you the codes for the doors as you go." Dave said. Sarek nodded slightly and walked towards the door. The others looked at each other for awhile then followed him towards the lift and they all stepped in. Sarek tapped in the number and leaned back on the wall waiting. "Where are we going?" Canathael asked. "Jurassic age. Full of creatures called 'dinosaurs'. According to Dave they're extremely dangerous. I'd be careful." Sarek explained. "Dinosaurs?" Repeated Li. Sarek nodded. "Correct. Dave should be able to guide us in this timeline, since he said he knows much about it." Sarek replied. There was a brief silence, and even though not many knew Sarek's name he wasn't going to give it to anyone, until one of them asked. "Excuse, you have a name?" Li asked. Sarek nodded. "Sarek Luther." He replied blankly. The doors of the lift suddeny swung open and Sarek walked out pushing past them first. He didn't glance back to see if they were following, he just continued to walk until he came to the dimly lit part of the section and faced a large metal door. Sarek took out his communicator. "Code." Sarek ordered. "First one's a number code, ask someone else to type it in because you won't be able to see it." Dave replied through the communicator. Sarek signaled for Pieter to come over. Pieter came and started at the panel and awaited Dave. "First code: 65789210." Dave said through the communicator in a sing-song way. Pieter typed it in slowly and nodded. Sarek backed him off and moved backwards as the two, large metal doors opened making ice cold gas seep out. Sarek and the others walked through coming to another door and another panel. "Next code is two words." Dave said. Pieter knelt down near the panel with letters on it and a screen, awaiting Dave. "And the word is: Scarface Smells." Dave said. Pieter was about to type it in, then stopped and looked up at Sarek. "Could you... repeat that?" Sarek asked in confusion. "I know it's a little crazy, but I thought it would be fun. Yeah, it's Scarface Smells." Dave confirmed. Pieter shook his head and typed in the code, then stepped back as the next doors opened. Canathael jumped back more than the others and seemed more startled. As the doors opened, it came to a room with metal all around it, a few controls panels and right in the middle was a huge, round circle with wires coming from it and a ramp leading up to it. "I'm activating the portal now, standby." Dave said. Sarek walked up the three stairs and onto the metal ramp staring at the portal. It was a dark silver colour with red and black wires around the back, but Sarek thought that the original Portal wouldn't have been so scientific. "Okay, the Portal should start to open..." Dave said. Sarek nodded to himself slightly and waited. Suddenly, a jolt of electric shot from one side of the portal to the other, then another, and another, and another, until creating a large ball of energy in the middle of the circle, which slowly began to get bigger until filling the whole portal. "Good luck, contact me when you get there, you all have to go in one after the other..." "I will." Sarek said flicking the communicator down. He turned back over his shoulder and glanced at the others, then walked towards the portal. He touched it with his fingers, felling nothing at all but a slight bit of energy, then stepped through. Before Sarek knew it, he had stepped onto grass through a large blue energy like in the Portal, and was staring straight at a small lizard like creature below his feet, which seemed to stare back. "Well... this isn't too bad..." He muttered to himself, but he spoke to soon when he heard the strongest, loudest roar he had ever heard.

After a few more post, we'll make the jump to the world of the Dino's. About 2 or 3 post after this one we'll go, but we all have to be in the control room. IC: The sound of robot's crushing and being broken would be heard from the other area of the training room while Sarek was sat down running his hands across his blade. He had been alone for years and now suddenly he was living on a ship with all these people from different worlds. Not that he cared where they came from, but it was so very different. Not to mention Sarek had never encountered a man like Dave: Annoying, impatient and bad mannered. But life was life. As Sarek was pondering to himself, his communicator bleeped loudly. He took it out and flipped it open. "What now?" He snapped. There was no answer from it, just a buzzing noise. A crackling, irraitating noise which annoyed Sarek. He flipped it down and slammed it beside him, only to hear it beep again. "What?" He said more feircly. No answer, only crackling. Sarek jumped to his feet and headed outside to see Dave and sort it out. -- Sarek strolled into the control room, pushing rudely past Cael and Maya and advancing towards Dave, who was sat at the main control station. "What've you broken now?" Dave asked as if highly annoyed. "This thing here is broken! It's not working!" Sarek growled angerily. "The noise is disurbing me, fix it!" Sarek snarled. Dave snatched the comunicator off him and flicked it open, hearing the same buzzing noise. He clicked some of the buttons and raised his eyebrow. "I have no idea what you've done this time..." Dave muttered. He took out his own and flicked it open, hearing the same noise from it. "Odd..." He muttered. Sarek cocked his head a little and stared. "You two, give me your communicators." Dave ordered. Cael took awhile to find his at his belt, took it and stared, then handed it to Dave as Maya did. Dave flicked them both open and heard the same noise. He looked puzzled, then turned around to the control panel. "There's some interferance in the time patterns..." "Come again?" Maya asked. "These device link us all together through time allowing us to communicate through time, but there's something blocking our transmissions. Canathael, you and Maya go find the others, bring them here." Dave explained. "What for?" Sarek asked. "I think Protosis might be making a jump..."

Ahhh, I'm way ahead of you Duorocks! Well anyway, in time periods where people are very different, like the Old West* then we'll be given clothes to match the others. Time periods with not many humans or in the far future also we'll be the same acept for some of us from the far past. As far as the posting material, a short amount will be fine. Atleast two or three paragraphs, each roughly four lines will do me fine, don't worry it doesn't have to be a LoTR chapter per post ;) * (A little hint for what I have planned for the second Episode).

His reflection could be seen in the thick blade, the reflection of a black haired psycho with devil eyes and a devil?s grin. He lowered his head beneath the collar of his coat and dropped his smirk. ?We?ll make a jump in two days.? He said quiet business like. Protosis jumped to his feet and looked over into the corner of the stone room at another man leading in the dark. His second hand man, his demon of the dark? Marrek. Even though Marrek was in the shadows, his metal armoured right arm and long red trench coat could still be seen, but his red eyes where the worst. Marrek was a human, but than again he was almost a demon. ?That?s a bad idea.? Marrek muttered. ?Two of us, lots of them.? He added. Protosis shook his head calmly and behind him came a dog-like creature. Its paws were metal with blood red wires running through them and patches of metal on its brown wolf-like face. ?No, three. And four when we get your egg, of course. Plus you have that? oh, what?s it called again??? ?The Devil Eye.? Marrek finished. ?That?s it. You can protect us from all the nasty little creatures. We?ll over power them. It?s easy, simple enough for a dog to understand. So, we go in, you go one way, I go the other. First one to find the egg jumps back first, and we?ll only have five days at the maximum. Don?t doubt me, Marrek, I never lose, one way or the other?? Chapter One For the first time, Protosis makes a jump into an age of Dinosaurs in search of an egg, which is the only one of its kind of possibly the most powerful Dinosaur of all time. He travels with another man named Marrek and a half dog-like wolf and a half machine. Though his true task with this strange egg is unknown, he has to be stopped at every turn. On an island ruled by Dinosaurs, is it possible to find one egg out of them all? The only way to stop Protosis is to find him first. Welcome, to the RPG! The first chapter will begin now. More information about it will be given as we go along, and I?d like everyone to post at least once before we make the jump. Well, instead of keeping you waiting, I?ll get going with the start post. Any questions, ask in the Underground! IC: Sarek was layback with his arms folded across his chest and staring at Dave under the long metal control panel cursing his head off. His jeans and white shirt had gotten full of oil and muck when the poor guy had to fix something in the engine room, and now Dave was blaming Sarek for the sudden loss of power on the 3rd floor. ?Sarek, the next time I see you on my leather car at my control station I?ll shove wrench up your as-? Sarek interrupted Dave with a sigh. ?I see no reason to stand here and be insulted?? Sarek growled back. Dave crawled out from under the station and straightened his messy brown hair then adjusted his glasses. The control room was large with panels and keys all over the place and a large black view screen in front. There was a large circular space in the middle, which was normally where they gathered and listened to Dave explaining things. ?You should be the one here fixing this! If you didn?t come from the freezer you?d be the one full of oil and crawling under the wires!? Dave snapped back getting to his feet. Dave was short and skinny, with thin glasses and rough brown hair. He wasn?t important to the group, but he was a genius and basically kept everything running around the place. Sarek sighed again and shook his head. ?I fail to see how my home as any part of this discussion.? He said. Dave shook his head. ?You fail to see how your stubborn and negative attitude can make a living hell for all of us!? Dave growled again and slammed his glasses into his shirt and began to wipe them clean. ?The next time you decide to go around breaking-? Sarek cut off Dave, again. ?I am not responsible for the malfunca-? ?Oh, yes you are!? Interrupted Dave. ?You blew out the power cell on the 3rd floor by trying to get the light working!? ?That was not the case, I was trying to-? Sarek began, but Dave cut in again. ?Sabotage my good work!? He snapped angrily. Sarek sighed heavily. He turned around and headed away while Dave continued to rant on while trying to fix the controls, not aware that Sarek was leaving the room. He walked to the black doors, which open automatically and turned as he heard Dave swear loudly, and then continued towards the lift at the end of the corridor. He past two large black doors, the study room and one door leading to a bunch of science labs. Sarek himself had no interest in science. It was confusing; it always had to be logical. Sarek could solve a problem without science, after all, science couldn?t explain why the changes they made in the past haven?t affected the future, or why Sarek survived, or why Protosis does all the things he does. Science meant nothing to Sarek. Besides, how could he know exactly which chemical to pick up? Most have the same temperature to him, and he could only see the colour red, it would be pointless! As he went towards the lift, Canathael passed him, giving Sarek a polite nod, but Sarek didn?t return it, he just walked past him. He walked into the lift, which was very bright indeed and sighed again. It was a small lift, but big enough for him. On the side was a small padd with four numbers on, and Sarek instantly punched the button for the 4th floor. All the new technology and other things seem a little too high-tech for Sarek; even though the technology he wore everyday was far more advanced. He was used to an icy environment and murderous creatures all over. What was heaven seemed more like Hell? Then again, a few of the others had it worse. The Medieval boy and the Chinese lady had it hard. All the abnormally new stuff and the time travel things? not to mention everyone had to carry around a small silver flip-up box to communicate with everyone else, but that would be handy since it would function through timelines to keep in contact with Dave. The lift suddenly came to a halt at the ground floor of the ship and Sarek walked out along the corridor. He might as well pass the time doing some training with himself. He didn?t spar with anyone else; he would rather spar by himself than anyone else. He walked along the corridor and turned into a large room with mats, targets, benches and everything a man, or women needed to train. The room was empty, and that pleased Sarek. He sat down on a bench in front of a few white towels and glanced around the room again. The sparring area of sword fighting area was separated by a metal cage-wall so no one would collide, but so far not many had used it. As Sarek was pondering what he could do next, he heard an annoying beeping noise on his belt. The communicator? Sighed, Sarek picked the small silver box from his belt and flicked it open. ?What?? He snapped. ?I found another problem with the panel you broke. The temperature is dropping on the 4th floor, I know you?re there so you better find the nearest panel in the room you?re in.? Dave?s voice crackled through and Sarek nodded to himself. He looked around the room then noticed a small panel near a sword rack. It was hard to see, but still visible. The temperature was dropping since his sight was becoming cloudy, but once below 0 degrees he could see clearly again. ?I see it.? Sarek replied. He ran his hands over the buttons there and blinked as his vision worsened. It must?ve been near enough 0 degrees. ?Flick the blue switch up.? Dave said. Sarek cocked his head to the side and stared. ?I don?t have that inferior vision of yours, you mind telling me which one?s blue?? Sarek growled back. Dave insulted him, even though he didn?t say anything that could be insulting. ?How the heck do I know? Try the middle one.? Dave snapped back at him. Sarek cocked his head again and stared at the middle of the three. His vision stared to clear up which indicated a sudden drop in temperature. Without further thought of the matter he flicked up the middle one and awaited Dave?s reply. ?Right that?s it. Go back to whatever you where doing.? Dave finally replied. The communication ended with a crackling noise, and Sarek thought nothing more of the matter and went back to his bench.

Thanks for joining everyone. Now we have 6 players, including myself. Sign-up's will be left open until... Tuesday. I'll get a thread up in the Square as soon as I can. Oh, Inari, I'd hate to ask you to edit a wonerful sign-up, but perhaps you could add a little more to your personality? Like how they react in certain situations, or if they stay the same in a situation. I hope to make this a succesful RPG, so I'll ask you all to stay with the RPG. If you're going away and can't post for awhile, PM me and all will be well. Okay, so that's it right now. I'll meet you all in the Square!

To answer all questions: The time travels will be a little spefic. Each Chapter we leap to a time frame, then back to the ship, or sometimes straight to another timeline. Basically, the "Dave" character tells us where to go to next or if we have to come back. The Chapters about one or a few group of characters is basically that I'll either make a Chapter in their timeframe, or they're the one(s) doing the most work for some reason. It's kinda like the stuff you see in Sliders, Star Trek and most series. I'll explain about this through the chapters, though. Yes, the characters will already be on the ship. The RPG will take place roughly about 5 days after each person arrived so they know a little about what's going on. The language question is a good one. The explain that, I think I'll use the Universal Translator, which could basically be a small chip or something. I never thought about that, so thanks for the suggestion Inari! I'll get this started then, I guess, but Sign-Up's will be left open for a short while.

Welcome to the Underground thread! Here I'm open to any suggestions for anything, really, and I thought I might as well make a thread providing information on the RPG and the Chapters. But first I thought it would be a good idea to start off with the way the vessel outside of time is set out, I mean like where the rooms are, what's in there and so on: First there are 4 floors: 1st Floor (ground) : Training rooms, equipment, medical bay and the Portal behind several closed doors. 2nd Floor: Members quarters, guest rooms and Entertainment rooms. 3rd Floor: Dining rooms and kitchens. 4th Floor (top) : Main control access (Weapons, the Portal, shields and all main functions), Science labs, study rooms and a briefing room. There will be an character in the group who is not played by anyone (Dave) who designed most of the ship and knows everything about it, and is the only man who can open the Portal. That's just a brief idea. Anyway, this is what I have planned for the first chapter (briefly) : -(Timedate unknown) Jurassic Ages. Protosis is found wondering around the Jurassic ages of Earth with an unknown creatures which appears to be half flesh half machine. His intensions are unknown, but soon t is revealed that Protosis is searching for a certain Dinosaur's egg, said to be one of a kind, either to keep the creature inside it or do something with the egg! Just a brief draft - remember, I'm open for suggestions!

Thanks for joining Duo, I'll accept your character, though I would ask for some more work to be done on the personality. I'm not asking for much on it, just a bit more information. Since I'm hoping this RPG will get going, I think I might as well make an Underground thread, so they'll be some information which I have planned for the first chapter. I need atleast two more people to join to get this going, but if I get one more person and not many others for awhile after that, I might start this.

Deimos, Angelus_Necare, welcome aboard. Both of your characters are what I'm looking for in the RPG, and I'm glad you've joined. However, poo62.2, your character isn't what I want. Your personality needs work and your bio doesn't tell a great deal about what we need to know. For instance, "5 years later Mantis had killed allot of the world?s greatest fighters" doesn't tell us why he did this, how he did it and so on. It makes your character seem like the kind who would kill for no reason, and in this RPG all the characters must have atleast some sort of pure good in them willing to help. Your bio doesn't tell use how you got most of your items, like the coat which seems good, and very little about your past. Sorry, but perhaps another time. Right now I'm looking for 3-5 more people to join, so I can atleast have 6 (including myself) in the RPG. Also, they chapters may later on be based on one character at a time (later on, of course) or a few characters. If this does get out of the Inn, I'll make an Underground Thread.

Sands of Time. A red scared hand turned the pages of an old, dusty book gently. The room was dark as night and the man turning the book couldn?t be seen. Another man, a young man stood at the door with a black suit on stared and sighed. ?Sir??? The young man asked in a deep Russian voice. ?Don?t call me that, Pavel, call me Scarface, that is my nickname.? The dark figure sat down said. ?And anyway, we?ve left the war outside so it doesn?t matter what you call me. We just need to get this finished.? Scarface muttered. He was called that because of the scars on his hands and face, but not many people had seen his face. Pavel, a Russian who kept his heritage pure was the top Assassin for Scarface, though he insisted on calling him sir. ?Sure, vhat if it von?t vork?? Pavel asked. There was a deep sigh coming from Scarface who suddenly stood up at the remark, and began to walk around the room. ?It will.? ?But vh-? Pavel was suddenly cut off by Scarface smashing his fist into the table, yet Pavel didn?t seem afraid. ?It WILL work! Time in one thing, but Past, Present and Future are three parts. Legend says if you bring back the needed people and items from different timelines and add them to the relic the Apocalypse that exist in oblivion will rise. Legend, Myth, Tale, Story, it?s all the same!? Scarface snarled. Pavel sighed and nodded his head. ?Then I vill be vaiting for that day?? Past, present, future. They are Time. They are the three parts of time, which contains millions of places in time as every second passes. Places, which can be travelled too. Some would say it was humanities desire to travel time, or others made it their goal in life to avoid it. Though what it is the probability of somehow accidentally tripping into another timeframe? Impossible? Perhaps not. It is considered impossible, but there are believers. What if time travel was possible? Would it be too dangerous to attempt it? Perhaps? perhaps not? 2279 AD The UWE (United Worlds of the Empire) was the name of the nearest solar system besides earth?s, with only a few planets with life forms on it, 4 to be exact. The four worlds had made a small empire, and over 100 years ago (2170) they had started an all-out war against the forces of Earth. The man, or alien who lead the attack was known as Scarface (real name is too hard to pronounce to humans). He was never provoked, but yet he took out the attack. Since Earth was highly advanced at this time, they had neighbour in planets nearby who agreed to assist in the battle. Scarface became the ultimate figure of evil for provoking such a war in a peaceful galaxy, and was the cause of all the trouble for the 100 years and onwards. Scarface was advancing on Earth for technology that know one had heard of, and anyone who was against him was ordered at any cost of keep him away from Earth. But any cost wasn?t enough. Scarface took his war the Earth, and there his past was revealed. Scarface, for some reason believed in a powerful relic that existed on Earth and, used rightly, could be used with his technology to ripe through time and travel across it. At first it was believed that he wanted to explore and used force instead of diplomacy, but the true colours had never been revealed. The relic that he spoke was had been totally destroyed in a battle around the shores of Earth. Scarface was meant to call off his attack, but didn?t. He continued fighting. Since Earth had never really known much about the 4 races in the UWE they couldn?t know what cost they would go too. Scarface, however, wouldn?t stop until Earth was totally destroyed. On November 15th, 2280 AD, Scarface was killed in battle, on Mount Everest. His action there where unknown, but the rest of the story was revealed: The 4 races of the Empire, which had attacked, had finally been revealed: Tarkè, Zeator, Boulde and Southan (Scarface?s kind), and all those races had been banned from crossing the line of space outside their system. Scarface had believed in something more than time travel, but an Apocalypse in the future. His intension had either been to save a future, or bring the Apocalypse to the past. There was no more information revealed from the war after that, not even the descriptions of the 4 races or Scarface. No one knew why he was called that, and very many knew the War ever happened. The information was far too sensitive to anyone to be revealed, and was enclosed as it should be. 2301 AD The UPA (Universal Protection Agency) had been founded to prevent any more wars and had the complete information of the Scarface incident given to them. The UPA discovered a second relic, which was exactly like the one described in the writings of the War. The relic was taken by the UPA, and, instead and destroying it, decided to make Scarface?s time travel theory come to life. They advanced quickly, and for the first time a human was sent into the past, asked to bring back an item to prove it. After testing, it was realized that going to the past would not harm the present of future, because history could not be altered. The portal was locked away and only used when testing was needed, but when many more projects came up, the time portal was shut down, serving no propose among the universe and left under the ground of the base, to rot, to never be used again? 2334 AD Protosis Alberiv was a historian, human. He was the only human who had the files of the Scarface war and not a member of the UPA. He had studied them and therefore believed Scarface was right. He wanted to prove that Scarface meant good because he believed that, so he got a group of scientist and a retired UPA member to help him work on the portal. The portal itself was inactive and needed work, but in time it came to function again. Though the mistake Protosis made was trusting the UPA member. The UPA member was a surgically altered Tarké who murdered everyone when the portal was made to work. He kept some of them alive until they made a way for the portal to be used through the small relic, so that he could jump through time to complete his task. When it was made, he killed the scientist himself and went on his way. All he needed to do was travel to different timelines and collect people and items which would be needed to bring all times into one and let the Apocalypse rule under his hand. It was an ancient way, which Scarface believed in himself but never could bring it to reality. The man who was going to jump time to time gave himself the name Protosis, from the man who revived the ancient power of the relic. When Past, Present and Future became one, which would spark the start of a new generation of evil and power for one man. Past, Present and Future? as one. 2337 AD The UPA found that the Portal had been activated and that the relic was gone. Though a power source had been left behind which could be used as a false relic for time travel, so then a new portal was made. It was made as a vessel, though. A space vessel, which would orbit around Earth forever. The chosen people and the project came up with a way to keep the ship out of the cracks of time, invisible to anyone in any timeline. It also meant that the men and women above could not age, only if they left the vessel. Soon, a few people had been brought from all timelines. Past, Present of Future. They had been chosen, and asked to leave whatever they had behind them and start a new way of life out of time to stop Protosis from completing what Scarface had started. Once a few had been chosen, they had to transport through the portal whenever the relic was activated and, hopefully, stop Protosis from making his move. Past, Present and Future. They are Time. Three parts, never one. --- This RPG will, hopefully, be successful. There will be a chapter every time we jump to the next timeline, and a break between each Chapter. There will be a brief explanation of each Chapter every time, and of course, the Chapter?s are not limited to the small explanation. Let?s say Protosis was meant to obtain an item, and to save it from being destroyed he through it into a timeline that only he knew of, then that would be find. However, actions from Protosis can only be controlled by me, so no huge story changes unless informing me. There can be none of the 4 races from the Scarface War, since no one knows what they look like. However, you can be from any time period, though anyone far in the future must not have a huge advantage over everyone else. You could be an alien of some sort, or a human from the past, but no God Modding, AT ALL! Characters from 1780 can be as good as characters from the year 6000. I have the right to choose who is in and out of the RPG. I don?t want to see poor sign-up?s, and if I don?t think your character would be right or think you need to improve your sign-up then I have the right to remove you from the RPG. Have fun! --- There sign-up sheet goes like so: Name: Age: (This doesn?t have to be age as we know it) Race: (If you are not human explain about your race) Timeline: (Period or date, doesn?t matter) Special Skills: (I don?t one totally magical powers, a few are okay, like the old Witch belief and stuff, but no demon fox summoner, keep it real. Skills with other things are okay.) Weapons: (2 guns, and a maximum of 4 weapons) Special Items: Weakness: (The more powerful you are, the greater the weakness) Personality: Description: (Picture or written will do fine) Bio: (At least 4 or 5 paragraphs) -- Name: Sarek Luther Age: 201 Race: Human Timeline: Unknown, said to be billions of years into the future where the sun is burning out and the world is an ice age. Special Skills: To survive, Sarek is very acrobatic and skilful with throwing arrows. Since the world in inhabited by creatures that live in the ice and dark, his hearing and strength is heighten to survive. Because of the way the humans evolved, Sarek can also live a triple lifespan of a normal human. Sarek also is very skilled in fighting, and doesn?t believe in death because in all truth he has nothing to lose. Weapons: A small spear, which he carries in his left, had, capable of cutting through rock if thrown hard enough. He also has one long sword that is kept on his back. This is made of the same steel as his spear, and can also cut through rock, but it has never been done on real rock (all the rock in his time was frozen). See description for images of the weapons. Special Items: The mask over his mouth is linked to a small cube of liquid in his back that makes Sarek highly adaptable. This can let his breath under water and is the only thing, which kept him alive through the ice age. It heats his body so he doesn?t freeze to death and stops him from breathing in harmful gases. Weakness: Sarek is blind. He can see the outline of most things from the heat coming off it (inferred), but aside from that Sarek is completely blind. If he was stabbed in the back and it pierced the liquid bottle in him he would go completely blind and never be able to see again. Sarek can also lose his vision temporally by being struck on the head. Personality: Quiet and lonely. In his future he is the only human. Since he never really talked in his timeline, he never really does anyway. If he does speak, he?s quiet negative because he has nothing at all to lose. He doesn?t laugh, love or feel anything which would be classed as ?nice?. Sarek isn?t very emotional at all and finds it hard to see from the other person?s point of view. If Sarek sees someone in danger and think it would put his mission in danger to save them, he wouldn?t save them. He does care for some people, but never acts on it. Sarek is like his world in the future: cold and lonely. Sarek has never cried before or grieved anyone or anything. In fact he has never felt many emotions or seen them. Since ice creatures ruled his world he never fully understood that he was human. Sarek would rather be left alone then being with anyone else and has never thought about comforting anyone else. Compliments are also out of the question. Description: Bio: Sarek?s only remembered his father from his family, the only man with the technology to live outside the caves of the ground. Sarek?s father had died when Sarek was 14, very early for Sarek. So he took his father?s technology and left the caves to live there. He only had a small dagger, or small spear for a weapon at first and for years he was the one being chased and the only way he could eat was hope the animal chasing him would trip and die. For the first few years, Sarek was lucky in his life. He had travelled far, but found no other humans. As he grew, he found tactics to lure animals into traps, but still couldn?t fight them. At this time, his eyes allowed his to see perfectly and he wasn?t blind. When he was 20, Sarek had attacked one of the largest creatures and killed it instantly, and knowing he could kill like that he didn?t lure things into traps anymore, he attacked head on, full force. Though time was passing slowly for Sarek and he felt nothing, loneliness was growing everyday. He was sat on the cliff of the highest point when a tiger-like creature had attacked him, a young creature, but Sarek didn?t kill it. Instead he let it live and began to walk off, but the creature followed him. Sarek was confused why it would follow him and not act on instinct, but after awhile, Sarek found a friend that he named Gaur. Sarek wasn?t lonely anymore, but a conversation with Gaur wasn?t likely. After that, Sarek did more daring things, like jumping off high cliffs into ice lakes and provoking dangerous animals. Gaur had helped him, too. For a few years, the thought of being the only human in the world hadn?t occurred to him. In fact, he was the only human in the Universe. All the other planets had been left, and no humans had survived. But Sarek didn?t care about that. The only thing that he cared about was living the rest of his life. Sarek and Gaur came face to face with another creature like Gaur, so Sarek tried to stop it from harming Gaur. However, Gaur was murdered by the creature, and for the first time Sarek became angry. He attacked the other creature, and when stabbing it, the blood went into Sarek?s eyes, blinding him from only seeing the outline of things from their temperature. The only colour Sarek saw from then on was red. After that he decided that he wouldn?t kill himself in case any other life form found him, instead he promised himself he would stay alive until the end of his lifespan and prove that the human was a worthy one. However, Sarek didn?t know that his lifespan over 250 years. To Sarek?s shock, he had been travelling around for over 70 years, and had come to the exact same place in which he was born. Though he bodies of the other humans had been frozen, Sarek recognized them all. He found two scripts of paper with writing on them, which explained about his family: His father being genetically altered to adapt to changes around him with the technology inside him and the equipment, and Sarek?s mother being One of the humans with the much longer lifespan. Sarek then found out that his parents where meant to die and he was meant to be the last of his kind, but Sarek didn?t know why. He then read of a weapon across the lands, deep beneath the waters and capable of cutting through rock. Without anything to do with his life, Sarek went in search of the weapon. He came to what used to be known as the Atlantic Ocean, which he expanded miles out covering most land. Sarek dived in straight away, and to the bottom. Something snagged his leg and pulled Sarek right to the bottom of the ocean, a giant octopus of some kind. There was no way for Sarek to kill it, he had no way of tell where its head was let alone where to strike. In an act of desperation Sarek ran from the creature, and ended up in a cave below the water where humanoid inhabitants lived, able to survive for some reason. The few people they?re said that the creature in the water could never let them live and that Sarek was the person who, at the right time was meant to free them. They said they had technology that enabled space travel like thousands of years ago so that they could live and move to another planet. Sarek agreed to help and was given the sword to fight the monster. The people requested Sarek gave the sword back, even if they died to honour them. Sarek promised he would, and helped free them by slaughtering the monster. He was then able to find a shortcut up to the surface and get them all safely there. However, on the surface they began to die. At this time Sarek had something to prevent them from dieing, but didn?t give it to them. They offered to help him off the planet, but Sarek still didn?t save them. Even after their deaths, Sarek did not give them back the sword; instead he kept it for himself. Though when they all died, Sarek didn?t feel for them, he didn?t feel any remorse at all, instead he just went on his own again. Sarek was 124 years old when he was about to give up, but he didn?t. He had been around the world many times, over and over again, the best he could do was perfecting what he already knew. Fighting, killing and surviving. He led a boring and lonely life, but Sarek had known nothing more. He had nothing to lose every day so every action he did was daring and putting his life at risk, but somehow he always got through and lived the next day. He perhaps wanted to die a honourable death, but he never could and always lived. After awhile, Sarek simply accepted the fact that he wouldn?t be able to kill himself. At 201 years old, just around the time the sun was going to completely burn out, a man came from the caves in which Sarek was awaiting his death. The man claimed to be from the past and had created a society of people from all timelines in order to stop a man from bringing the three parts of time together. He requested Sarek help, and told his about the vessel orbiting around the Earth, which would keep them immortal. Sarek said a plain no at first, but when the man said it was his chance to prove something more of his life, Sarek said he would do it. When Sarek was taken back through the portal, he promised himself that he would never, ever return to his old life and that he would rather die.

The Pro - Your sign-up is good, however I was going to decline having your side in the RPG, but I don't see the harm. Though I have read your sign-up, and think it needs a little work. You bio, for example. Perhaps you could add more to your character's past, so we have an idea of what happened and possibly how the COH started. You also missed your character's personality, but if that was included in your bio you could simply take it out and put it into your personality, but your personality would need more depth. But I do like your idea about putting when your organization appears, just one change to that: Put when the Resistance hasn't made any striking plans yet and haven't found all their men. The Resistance was founded sometime ago and simply continued (see my bio, I shouldn't blame you for this tiny mistake because I haven't put my bio then, sorry). However the first strike will be in the middle of the first Chapter, so your appearance can be early on. Prince Van - Your sign-up needs some work, too. I PMed you with a few things you could edit, it's just that your sign-up is a little hard to read right now, so cleaning it up (spaces in certain parts, serperating your section,) will be a start. You should also put more depth into your personality, since that's one of the main things in this RPG. Another notice about the chapter thing: There will be a brief description of what to exept in each chapter, and a mission description. Every ten chapters, a new part will be made. The title for part one is: First Strike And each chapter will have its own title, too. Any questions, ask me.

The apartment was small, and dimply lit, so it was hard to see anything in there. In fact, the lights were most likely off, and the only light was coming from the outside city. A man, well, Klingon Vulcan hybrid to be exact was sat at the back of the room, with his feet up and staring into space. He was told by the Admiral he wouldn't have any assignments for alongtime, and currently had no projects to do with Starfleet, so tomorrow he would meet up with a few friends. But that wasn't on his mind right now, on his mind was the past. He was remembering his last encounters on a Starship. He did enjoy them... but he wasn't kneen on stepping on a Starship for awhile... Even though Tolaris grew up on one. Right now, Tolaris felt like he made some big mistakes in the past. He went over events, and daydreamed about what he could have done instead. Tolaris seemed to be so deep in thought, it was like meditation, which he did not do, even though he was part Vulcan. Tolaris sighed heavily and moved his hands behind his head. Suddenly, there was a crashing noise. It made Tolaris jump out of his thought, and straight away he found himself yelling for maxium light to the computer. The room lit up quickly, making Tolaris squint to see who was there, or what. A sigh of relief feel through him when he noticed something had fallen off the shelf. "Maybe I should call it a night..." He muttered to himself. He sighed heavily again, and shook his head as he sat down once more. -- For the first time in awhile, Tolaris found himself reporting to Admiral Reeves, who was in charge of the mission concerning Brightstar, not that Tolaris knew much about it, just that Brightstar was on a mission and Admiral Reeves was in charge. Tolaris had no idea what was going on, but if it had anything to do with Tolaris joining the Brightstar, then he wasn't happy to do it... Tolaris felt like he needed to stay away from Starships for a little longer. "You wanted to see me, Admiral?" Tolaris said when coming to the Admiral's desk. He stood with his hands behind his back and waited for the Admiral to reply. Admiral Reeves turned around and smiled. "Ah yes, Lieutenant," The Admiral began, pausing briefly too look at Tolaris. "We have an assignment for you." He finally finished. Tolaris raised his eyebrow. "Sir?" He asked. Admiral Reeves sat down at his desk and looked up at Tolaris. "You yourself said I didn't have any assignments, I already made some plans." "Cancel them. This is more important." Admiral Reeves snapped. Tolaris lowered his eyes to the ground as if saying 'Yes sir'. The Admiral briefly glanced down then continued. "I'm assigning you to the U.S.S. Brightstar, who is-" The Admiral was cut off by Tolaris. "A Starship? Sir, I don't think I would b-" "Who don't have time to find a new Chief Diplomat, and from what I heard you're good at your job." The Admiral said, getting slightly annoyed by Tolaris. He looked down, and picked up a datapad, giving it too Tolaris. Tolaris took it, but didn't glance at it once. "All the information is there, any question, just ask." "...Yes sir..." Tolaris mumbled. He couldn't believe it. Tolaris sighed heavily as he was dismissed. -- OOC: I hope this was okay.

Prophecy of Hell [PG-VL] We sometimes hear in myths and legends about demons and evil creatures that lurked around us, sometimes killing people. We know, or rather think such creatures did not exist, and that it is merely folk tales. But who can be sure? Those tales of demons and magical creatures are in fact real. Though as time went by, the legends had been altered. Some had been alerted on purpose, but the true meaning behind such tales meant deadly consequences in the future. The Horned God. Legends referred to a beast with horns, amazing strength and brutality for humanity. The Horned God was in fact a race that lived in the far corners of the world while humanity was still in its Stone Age period. The beast with snakes for hair was another creature, which had inhabited Earth along with humans, going undetected for years. There had been many, many kinds of humanoid creatures lurking around, and many mythical beings, which were indeed real. While mankind steadily began to evolve, a war was started for leadership of the current most powerful race in the occupied section of the world: The Vaderi. Horned God?s. Several Werewolf creatures (still referred to as Werewolves in the legends) joined the war as well, hoping that one may take leadership and reshape the world in their image. All others sat by, watching, with no power of the war. The proud, pure Vaderi race were determine to keep the Werewolves out of their business, and the Werewolves wished to prove otherwise. However, both were devastated when one single being stepped forward and took control; a half Vaderi and a half Werewolf. Red skin, horned, horse legs and hooves, which is known in myths as the devil. Though his name was in fact Stardos, named after the stars and after his father, Brothdos. He brought order to each race, and gave the nameless and powerless races names and power. The snake haired people became known as the Alergin, the few winged demon races became the Sarcross, and the large green monsters (Trolls in folk tales) became the Aros. Stardos wanted to bring order to the entire world, but when he ordered his men to spread out of conqueror, news came back of another race, primitive, but a danger, humans. Though Stardos wanted nothing more to annihilate these humans, he also wanted to seem more protective of his people, so Stardos gave them a place to hide from all of humanity until his quest for annihilation was complete. Bit by bit, assassins and demons had been sent out to kill humans, but none came back alive. Stardos then decided it was time to through his most powerful weapon yet, a race which he created himself and which he called Dragons. Humans quickly learnt to kill the dragons, slay them in fact. This made Stardos so anger, that he began murdering humans himself. He became known as the Devil, the ultimate evil that wanted to destroy what God had made. Stardos took his final move, but was stopped in his tracks when a few mere men approached him, claiming to have magical ability. They threatened Stardos, saying they would imprison him in the underworld if he did not stop destroying. Stardos showed his side of mercy, claiming humans had taken what was rightfully theirs, and drove his people into hiding because of fear. The race of humanity did not listen. Once they believed Stardos was a killer, they would never forget that. Knowing his stab at diplomacy didn?t work, Stardos attacked with his full force. The humans then took what they threatened into action. They locked Stardos in the underworld, and his army. This was never put into legends and stories, and most legends had been altered, for reasons unknown. The rest of the creatures had hidden away, but sometimes leapt out and captured humans, turning them into witches and vampires for a later revenge they had in mind. As the years past, the truth behind most legends had been forgotten, and those who remembered it wondered why it was covered up. Years later, the Werewolves, children trolls, witches and vampires made a stand. They were hunted and murdered, but still took a stand. A few Vaderi appeared and had claimed to be the Devil, trying to scare off humanity. But their attempts of reclaiming the part of the world, which was rightfully, theirs had failed. Humans won once more, driving most of the creatures back. Some stayed, and were slaughtered. Others tried to explain and asked for sometimes back, but they had still been slaughtered. Stardos had seen all these events, and waited for his time to strike once more. He knew it would come, but that mystery was covered up in lost history. Years later, all those things had been reduced to legends and tales, most considered it not to be real. Though one day, a boy was digging. He suddenly duck up a chest opened it and found writing on old paper. He took it too his father, whom was a historian. His father translated it from Latin, and the scroll read: ?And when he was sent to the underworld we named it Hell. He tried to stop us but failed. His last words had been ?I will return. I will return and take back what you have stolen from my people and me. I will come back from this place you name Hell, and when I do, remember this moment, for it will be the day when I invoke a Prophecy. My people will come for me, and will make my words reality, and when that day comes, it will be the Prophecy of Hell.?? The historian came up with a theory about this, but no one would listen. He dug in the same place where the scroll was found, and uncovered more things. He knew the Prophecy of Hell was real, and wanted to prepare all those in the future. So he made underground tunnels, and kept the scrolls there, translated, and information. If he was not around for the end, then all he could do was help by giving the future the keys to the past. No one believed him. But they should have. They had come. It had come. The Prophecy of Hell. The Devil rose from his prison with his army and attacked the human race. He called upon all that hated humanity. Werewolves, Vampires, Witches, Trolls, Vaderi, Sarcross and Alergin. The war went on and on, but Humans could not fight back. Stardos raged around shouting about his promise. He said that humans did not care for what they did not understand. He screamed about trying to prevent this, and in his rage he killed the most important people in the world, and hung their heads on the greatest landmark of their country for the whole world to see. Stardos did not stop until he was satisfied with his work. Most humans were dead, and the few that were left had been held prisoners, as slaves, mostly tortured for the rest of their life. The world became Hell. No hope was left for humanity. After one hundred years, humans had still been alive, still tortured, still trying to fight back. But nothing could be done. Soon, a group of humans had bounded together. Some were half breeds, one of their parents had run away from Stardos? Hell and joined with some humans or other races. Then, a resistance was formed. Those who wanted nothing more than to kill Stardos and take back the world. It was the Ultimate test. But where they right? To take back earth? After all? it was rightfully Stardos?? Then again, it was rightfully mankinds. The Prophecy of Hell was about to be history. -- **-- Welcome to the resistance. That is the story. Now, to join, you can be any race, and crossbreeds, as long as you have a reason for that. I think everything was clear above. This will go in a chapter way, when one mission is done, we go onto the next creating a second chapter. There will also be ranks, like so: Commander (Taken by me) Secondary Commander Lieutenant Commanders (Three of these) Lieutenant (Five of these) Weapons Officer Communication/Tactical Officer Soldier Basically, the higher the rank, the more authority when the two leaders are gone. However, each rank has the same skill level (Weapons and Communications Officers have skills in their own platform). There is also room for people who want to be on the evil side, but NO ONE can play Stardos. Here?s the sign-up: Name: Age: (No matter what race, this will be basically human years) Race: (Cross breeds are welcome) Side: Rank: Weapons: (Maximum of 3. There will be limited firepower, so only one gun. The enemies would have taken most weapons) Unique Skills: (This skill is the only one you have in the group. The Communications and Weapons officer basically have their skills with their rank, but the others have different skills. It must be a unique skill.) Appearance: Personality: Bio: ------ Name: Tarrik V?Sher ?Doom boy?. Age: 30. Race: 15% Aros (Troll), 15% Werewolf and 70% Vaderi. Side: The Resistance. Rank: Commander. Weapons: Rail Gun A large rail gun which fires out bullets and energy. The bullets are surrounded by energy, which makes the shot twice as power. Unique Skills: Total devotion to his people. Though he is not fully human, Tarrik believes in their rights, not Stardos'. Some say he's mad, but sometimes being mad can win a battle. In one battle, Tarrik was out numbered 7 to 1, however he remembered about the group of people he was fighting to save, and managed to defeat all 7 Vaderi guards. It's like a boast of power by pure will, which no other person has shown. Tarrik would not die, but he would give his own life. This skill makes Tarrik a tricky enemy, because such a skill is one that Stardos will never have. Appearance: Tarrik is a tall man, coming from his Aros side of course. He's just under 7 foot, with a very built-up body. Tarrik has sharp red nails, coming from the Werewolf side, which is a good advantage in hand-to-hand fighting. All up his arm on the side is light brown fure, reaching to his shoulders and stopping at the middle of his back. Unlike a Aros or Werewolf, Tarrik has dark red skin all over his body. Under his eyes is a black shadow, and his eyes are like those of a cats, yellow and slit pupils. His hair is messy and light brown, but on top of his head are twisted ram-like horns, from the Vaderi side of his family. His ears are pointed, and Tarrik's left ear is pierced with a golden ring. His clothing is quite unique. Tarrik has red stell armour, from his chest to his shoulders over a pale white shirt. The armour has a golden outline around it, and Tarrik has the same sort of armour on his lower body, but only at the front. On the back of the upper body armour are three white horns, the further up the bigger they are. There are also three white horn-like spikes on the lower part of the armour, on each leg. A large one on the kneecap, a medium one on the upper part of his shin and a small one at the bottom of his shins. No one knows why Tarrik has heavy armour instead of light, future armour, but it is believed to be a family item. Personality: Proud, reliable and full of burning red hate for the enemy. Tarrik is the kind of person who wouldn't break an oath even if Stardos would give the world to him. He will keep a promise to the death, and always be faithful to his team mates and all who are on his side. Betrayal is Hell to Tarrik. He would rather go through an eternity of torture, then live knowing he had broken a promise. He is proud to be who he is, even though he's crossed between too races. He believes all men, no matter what race are the same. He believes that for a peaceful world, everyone should be treated the same. He's wel aware of everything that happened in the past, and because of that knowledge he's like the Great Fire of London when it comes to Stardos. In bad situations, Tarrik believes there is always hope, no doubt that's why he was choosen for the job as leader. Tarrik would give his life for everyone he knew, but he would not give his life if he didn't have to. Some people thought he was heartless when he tried to find a new way to save a small group of people instead of killing himself, but he couldn't find it in time, so they died. But that event didn't change Tarrik. He's still strong about his belief, about what he hopes to do for the world, for all kinds of creatures. He doesn't care that Stardos felt betrayed by humanity, he only cares about all who wish to fight for freedom. The Earth belongs to no one, therefore, both humans and Stardos are wrong. But Tarrik believes you should never judge on person by their race, therefore he treats Vaderi and humans the same. The only people he judges are those who stand by Stardos, and Tarrik would like nothing more than to kill them all. Aside all that, Tarrik is normally calm, but is easily angered. Bio: Tarrik was born in a small camp in the mountains, where run away slaves and people who fought for freedom lived. He was the only child there, and his mother had died a week after Tarrik was born. His father, mostly Troll and Werewolf trained Tarrik from a child, believing his cross breeding could be the breaking point in the revolution, he believed Tarrik was the one boy who could save them, but no one else in the camp did. Tarrik was five years old when their camp was raided by Stardos's forces, and most people had been killed there. The only survivors where warriors, who managed to fight their way out. Tarrik's father then created the first Resistance of corss breeded creatures, and so began a revolution for Tarrik. From that day on, he was trained to totally keep an oath to stop Stardos, and trained to believe in one think: Victory. Tarrik had seen first hand what his father could do, and saw the mighty power in which one small resistance did. Tarrik was inspired to follow in his father footsteps, and at the age of ten, he became a part of the resistance. He made his first kill when they fought to save another small camp, and Tarrik killed an Alergin, taking it's Rail Gun and keeping it for himself. Tarrik was 13 when he became the second best member of the resistance. Already, they where known. Stardos sent his best men out after them, and his father told Tarrik that this was only the first stage. He said that Stardos was worried what such a resistance would do, so he sends his best. He told Tarrik that soon, the resistance would grow and over through Stardos. Tarrik promised he would not let the resistance fall, and they continued to spook Stardos. The resistance lost many, but from that, the families of the lost joined, making the resistance even bigger. Tarrik was convinced that Stardos' rain had come to its end, as was everyone else. But then, something happened... Stardos himself came to face the resistance with an equal amount of men. The appearance of Stardos frightened the others, but Tarrik told them not to be afraid and said that the Devil must be murdered as he has murdered others. A battle had begun, but not even Tarrik's words could keep the resistance up. They were still afraid, but some managed to keep it up. After 14 days, three men remained: Tarrik, his father... and Stardos. Tarrik watched as his father fought Stardos, and watched as Stardos drove a sword through his father's heart. Tarrik, driven by so much hate, tried to kill Stardos, but the Devil escaped. Tarrik was heart broken. He asked his father what could he do to make up for his lost, and his father said Tarrik must promise to keep the resistance alive, and Tarrik swore he would, and he also swore he would not stop until Stardos was defeated. His father nodded at Tarrik's oath, and went to the only place where Stardos could not continue to enslave everyone: The Afterlife. Tarrik did as he promised. He kept the resistance alive and became leader. At first he began freeing people, and they join his resistance. Tarrik started to look for alternative roots to save people, and was more and more confident each time. Although, one timewhen a village was being destroyed, the army was driven by the leader. Tarrik was the only one who could spook the other army by killing the leader, but if Tarrik went into the fire without the gear the army had on, he would die... but the fire would stop and the people would be saved. If Tarrik died, there would be no more resistance, and he had to keep his promise. He tried to look for another way, but failed. Then, the resistance abandoned Tarrik, saying he was a heartless fool. Tarrik tried to make them stay, but couldn't. He then left on his own, with no more resistance. One night, Tarrik was fighting against 14 Vaderi. 7 had cornered him, and too make up for the people who died in the village, he found his skill. He defeated the 7 surrounding him, and to free the people, Tarrik killed the other guards, managing to make up for the lost he caused. Though that didn't bring back the resistance. Tarrik had to keep his promise, so he found an old friend from the resistance, and convinced him to join in a showdown with Stardos. Alergiuma, his friend, agreed to it. Stardos was no aware that they had broken through the first set of guards, and when he did, he had them removed from the lands. Tarrik was puzzled why Stardos did not kill them. When Tarrik was 21, he formed a 3 year bond with Alergiuma, and once again they went to face the Devil. After breaking through the defense, they came face to face with the Devil again, and the showdown began. But Stardos did not even try to win, and he explained to Tarrik why he was still alive. He said the only way for a man like him to pay was to lose all faith of his oath, to break and unbreakable promise, and lose his closest family, then have to live with it. Guards suddenly stormed in and seized Tarrik, then Stardos began to slowly kill Alergiuma. Tarrik couldn't get to him, and Alergiuma was killed. Tarrik vowed, swore on his life he would kill Stardos no matter what. He said he would only grow stronger and murder the murderer, no matter what. He said that his oath would never, ever be broken, and that the Devil would fall at the hands of a mortal. He swore all this, and was left to live his life in pain. Tarrik fought by himself, on his own, but was slowly making friends again. When he was 30, he was informed about reviving the Resistance. Tarrik said there was no point, but the people convinced him, and asked Tarrik to be their leader. Tarrik smiled back at them, and said for a chance to fill his oath, he would gladly lead the Resistance to victory.

Brightstar, Chief Diplomatic Officer Background: Born on the Star ship Goldhawk, which travelled through space in the name of exploration, Tolaris hardly ever saw his parents. If he ever did see them off duty, it would normally be his mother, and they wouldn?t do much. Tolaris wasn?t too lonely, because he would normally find something to do with the other officers on board. Most of the time, Tolaris would spend his time with the Morale Officer, a human, Robert. Although Tolaris? father didn?t think Robert had any logic at all and didn?t seem to like him much, Tolaris enjoyed spending time with him. They would normally play games and do fun things, so unlike most Vulcan?s, or half Vulcan?s, Tolaris was very fun to play with at his young age. When Tolaris? father found time off, he decided to teach Tolaris how to play Vulcan Chess and how to meditate, unfortunately, Tolaris didn?t take any of it as well as his father thought. Tolaris lost at all the games he played with his father in a matter of minutes, so Tolaris didn?t like that. Things in the room or any area while meditating also often distracted him. Even when Tolaris had his eyes closed, he often asked his father questions and interrupted. Tolaris? father said it would take sometime to make things right, and Tolaris argued that everything was right. He said logic didn?t matter, he said that some of the greatest story told weren?t logical. Tolaris lost his temper when his father said he wasn?t to stay with Robert through the day. Then Tolaris lost his temper and ended up saying he wished he wasn?t Vulcan at all. He said things he didn?t mean to say, and it was clear that the Klingon part of Tolaris gave him a bad, bad temper. Over the next few months Tolaris? temper got a lot worse. Tolaris became a lot more defiant and didn?t listen to a word that anyone said. His father told him he had to meditate, and when Tolaris agreed to give it a shot he slowly got bored. He got angrier as well because of the fact most Vulcan?s insisted on controlling their every emotion. One night Tolaris was talking to Robert, and Robert had mentioned that drawing was like meditation. You had to concentrate, and you could express thoughts in one picture, like anger, happiness, hate, and get rid of it all before starting a new day. Tolaris said it looked a lot more interesting than meditation, and he asked if he could learn how to do it. Robert agreed to help him. Tolaris had shown his mother what Robert had taught him, but kept his father out of the picture. He would tell his father he was meditating, when Tolaris was really doing a simple drawing. Over time he became more careless, thinking his father was always working and just drawn at night without caring at all. When his father did catch him, Tolaris expected them both to argue about what Tolaris was still doing listening to Robert, but it wasn?t like that. Instead, Tolaris? father simply said it was fine as long as Tolaris would control his anger. Tolaris agreed with his father. When the Goldhawk were attacked by alien vessels who claimed that the star ship was trespassing, Tolaris? father was sent on an away mission with Tolaris? mother. Though after the mission was cleared up with the officers assigned to the away mission, Tolaris had noticed his mother was avoiding his father more than normal. Tolaris was shocked when he heard his mother requested to be taken off the team, saying that they would be fine without her. Tolaris became very suspicious as to why his mother wouldn?t want to go with the away team. It had been days; maybe even weeks, but the away team hadn?t contacted the ship yet. Tolaris was told that there had been some communication problems and the aliens had been blocking signals, but Tolaris knew that something was wrong. After at least a month of searching, there was no sign of the away team or their shuttle, so the Captain resumed course battling past the aliens. By the time Goldhawk was going back to Starfleet HQ, Tolaris was curios about the Vulcan home world. He asked his mother that instead of going to earth, could he live on the Vulcan home world instead. Tolaris was told there was no point, and that he would e referred to one of the V'tosh ka'tur (Vulcan?s without Logic). Tolaris said he was treated like he was born fully Vulcan and reminded his mother that he was only half that and was free to explore emotions if he wanted too. But his mother still insisted on Tolaris going back to earth and learning there, and Tolaris knew something was wrong. Something had happened that made Tolaris? mother change her mind going on the away mission, also making her change her mind about everything to do with Tolaris? father. But Tolaris could never get his answers, and did end up going to earth, but he didn?t regret it. Tolaris enjoyed his first years as a cadet. His training was good, and Tolaris found it enjoyable. He did blow his stack at any time or get really angry; it went very smoothly in fact. He had a few friends there, including a girl named Sarah, a human girl. In Tolaris? third year they used to work together on things and a few of them would spend their spare time together. Tolaris found it interesting how Sarah thought he was funny when in all honesty Tolaris had a bad sense of humour. In his 4th year as a Cadet, he was really hoping that a few of the people he knew would be assigned to the same ship as him, unfortunately they weren?t. Tolaris served as a Diplomat?s Aide for 4 years on the U.S.S. Hurricane, and was promoted to Diplomatic Officer there. Tolaris spent 8 years on the U.S.S. Hurricane, the first 4 years as a Diplomat?s Aide, then the next 4 years as a Diplomatic Officer. He was well known with the crew, but Tolaris wasn?t very found of the Captain. The Captain wasn?t interested in diplomacy much; Tolaris even thought the Captain was always trying to pick a fight with other beings. In Tolaris? 7th year on the ship they came across an abandoned vessel, with only two life forms, one Talaxian, one Ktarian. The ship was attacked by an unknown ship leaving only two survivors, and the Captain told the crew to set a course for the attacking ship. In a few months, Tolaris came to know the Talaxian, and learnt a few phrases himself. After awhile the U.S.S. Hurricane came into contact with the attacking ship, Romulan?s. A Romulan Warbird opened fire on the Hurricane, and then invaded the ship taking out a few of the crew. Tolaris, a few other crewmembers and the Captain managed to survive, but had been confined to sickbay under watch of the Romulan guards. The Captain was fixed on taking the ship back, so they decided to do it by force. They attacked the guards near sickbay and took their weapons, and proceeded to the bridge. They couldn?t get the ship back and take it back to Starfleet, so Tolaris sent out a distress call to Starfleet while the others kept the Romulan?s occupied. A Starfleet ship arrived to their rescue, managing to get the crew off the Hurricane, leaving the Romulan?s behind. The Starfleet ship then opened fire on the U.S.S. Hurricane, destroying it. After the Romulan incident, Tolaris was assigned to the U.S.S. Arrow, a science vessel in 2385. He had been promoted to Assistant Chief Diplomatic Officer before joining the U.S.S. Arrow, and had his own try at being Chief Diplomatic Officer. He even once had his own try at Captain. Tolaris was assigned to an away mission, which ended up with the away team using weapons to fight their way back. The team leader was injured when the inhabitants of a planet attacked them. It was unknown that the planet was inhabited, but the creatures seemed very vicious. The shuttle was underground when it crashed, therefore the away team had to find a way to the surface, hoping that the air was breathable. Tolaris took lead there, and managed to get the away team back to their ship in one piece. Tolaris spent 2 years on the U.S.S. Arrow, and thought it would probably be his last exciting journey anywhere. After the U.S.S. Arrow, Tolaris was promoted to Chief Diplomatic Officer. Personality Profile: Tolaris finds no need to keep his emotions locked up, though he is a calm person most of the time. He tries to find a way out of a conflict no matter what instead of going into one. Tolaris doesn?t mind lots of work, and even in his spare time he will research things at his own will or help people around the ship. Tolaris can get very, very angry sometimes and lose his temper and maybe all logic, but it rarely happens. Tolaris finds interest in exploring, so he is in favour of a little mission change in the name of exploration. Tolaris tries his best not to insult people, even if it is the truth. Though he is part Vulcan, Tolaris tries to ?set logic aside? once in awhile, since he was annoyed when his father talked about logic. He?s normally quite understanding, but Tolaris does have his share of disagreements. Tolaris is also very open into talking to people, but some subjects like his life on the Goldhawk he?s quite sensitive about. The one annoy thing about Tolaris is that he raises his eyebrow a lot. The Captain on the U.S.S. Hurricane used to twitch a lot when Tolaris did this and told him to stop, and Tolaris does it a lot. Special Notes: None. (It's been confirmed by Jokopoko that I won't start off on the Brightstar, but I will be transferred over.)

EyeToy might not be fun for most older people, but my little cousins seem to enjoy it. I'm not in anyway saying people who play with EyeToy are little kids, I just think it was designed for younger children mostly. EyeToy is pretty fun, and I enjoyed it until I lost the damn thing. It's meant to be fun. It's not serious stuff. It's not like a game of Red Faction, it was designed to have yourself a laugh with your friends maybe and even sometimes make a fool of yourself. You wouldn't exactly go into a crowd of unknown people and show off your EyeToy skills, lol. My big brother plays with the EyeToy, and he's 25. The poor guy's not insane or likes to play kiddie games, he just enjoys having a laugh. EyeToy could be interesting. They might bring out better games than they already have, you never know. But basically everything I really wanted to say is in the first paragraph, so I'll leave that at that.

I think you got all the ranks, but you forgot the ECH (Emergency Command Hologram) :p (Blame my mum... she put a load of Star Trek Voyager episodes on DVD and forgot the episode titles and made me watch them... I didn't mind like, but I got very addicted to... certain... episodes). Perhaps you could have people who aren't on the starship at first and are "picked up" along the journey. Like the Klingon provoking Seven of Nine, or the ship-almost-wrecker Kes! You know? People like that who end up joining Brightstar and earn a posistion there. I dunno...

I hate being in most places around people (bit like Social Anxiety), so I normally stay in my room at home and keep out of the way of other people. I hate going outside were loads of people are, and I do prefer being alone. When my dad's going to work and I'll be on my own, I keep asking what times he's going, and I normally try to make my brother sleep over at his friends when my parents are working so no one's in the house. Basically all I'm saying is I would like to be on an island alone. It's not like I can become any more insane.

As I said before, I think it's a great idea. I would most certainly join it (If I can, that is, lol). I haven't seen a lot of TNG or Deep Space 9, but I sure have seen all of Voyager about thirty times! (I'm sad enough to tape all the episodes on DVD's). I have a good idea of most things.... *hides*. Anyway, I say go for it. It sounds like a hit, and after reading your bio you sent I think it sounds great. I say go for it. The mission/episode thing sounds great, but will the characters have some sort of break? Like in that one Voyager Episode, "11:59" was it? Or Bride of Chaotica, because they did have sort of "breaks" when there were no missions. Overall I think a Star Trek RPG is a great idea.

Ah yes, the MM part. I thought that might be a bit of a problem, a lot of people would want to play them... but I decided to let the Normal People have the choice and being involved with an MM, only they can be killed at their own will, or be a double crosser and things like that. Though I'm not sure about the Police/detectives. But I did come up with this: Whenever an MM is going out of the story, it will end a chapter. At the end of the chapter it's the only time when the most epic part of the characters involved with that MM (like a certain detective of normal character) can take place. Like... one of the police being kidnapped and the MM threatening to throw them off a building. It will make things a lot more interesting for the other type of characters. And I think it might be an idea to let the other type of characters get involved with more things than the MM's... I decided I'll just stand by and post updates and just be a normal person watching or something (and not get invovled in any storylines). Though the whole RPG will need A LOT of discussing all the way through. I agree with you on giving more emphasis to the detectives, I think I should do that.

This won't kick off for a few weeks, however I want to make it a big RPG, so does anyone think this is a good idea or have any suggestions? The basic story is this: Over the past 3 years, a Murderer has been going around randomly killing people. He or she is said to have extensive knowledge of numbers of fighting styles, and is said to be very acrobatic and too smart to be caught. The Murderer always leaves the letters "MM" on a wall or the ground in red blood or ink, which stands for Masked Murderer. Police once caught the Murderer on CCTV, and discovered they really were Masked. But whenever the Masked Murderer was caught on camera again, he/she always wore a different mask. It was later discovered many people had been posing as the Masked Murderer, and there were many Murderers around, all with different Masks. Though it is known, only one person was the original Masked Murderer. But as time goes on, how many people will die by the hands of the Masked Murderers? How far can the sick mind of one human spread and make others Masked Murderers? The chase is on. -- Basically, you can either be in this RPG: 1. A Masked Murderer (Only one will be the original one, I'll explain below) 2. A Police man/women 3. A detective 4. A normal person joining the search In this RPG, the Masked Murderers must plan their kills, and the other can do as they please, but they CANNOT catch/kill a Masked Murderer until I've PMed them. Ever so often, a Masked Murderer will be caught/killed. This is how it works: Each Masked Murderer will post a kill they do, or more than one. I will judge the best kills and the most carefully planned out. The person who has the poorest kill will be PMed and be told that they will be either caught/killed. Now, everyone else will post about how they are investigating the case, if they saw anything, and what they believe. The person from the other groups with the best post will be PMed, and they can either kill (for a reason which I'll give) or arrest the Murderer (which can be an epic battle or a long chase). The overall best poster will win the title of the original Masked Murderer, and will be the only survivor of the RPG. I will be a Masked Murderer, but I will vote fairly and take myself out if I must. More work is being done, and I may start this in Sept. 1st. But first, do you think this will work? Have any suggestions? Interested? I love to here it.

I thought I'd make this thread because as of today, I vowed to stay offline most of the time due to headaches, and that I'll be away for 5 weeks in Wales, therefore no internet, so I'll miss you all. What do you miss most after a long holiday of some sort? Rest of your family, home, your city? Me... it's mostly my city. When I get back into Manchester/Salford, it's a relief for me being back home. It's so different from Wales, I mean there's no mountains near where I live, heh. I guess I grow to miss the whole place after awhile, because I never see the people I know, and the traffic isn't like in Wales (I mean you can throw stones at cars in traffic jams and run off without getting caught), and it's nothing like a country side. I normally miss my dog too, and the internet mostly, since OB has become a big part of my life now. I kinda miss everything in my house and town, then after awhile I actually miss school. Though a good break is just what I need. 6 weeks was normally the time I'd go down for, and every other holiday, but 5 weeks is just as long. Yeah, I get to see some of my other friends over in Wales, but I miss home a lot too... my city is the most... So how about you?

I've only been here for a year... so yeah... I haven't seen all the really good stuff. I saw some Random Comics, and I checked out a few old threads, but back then I was so n00b I almost got my *** banned in every post >.< (Please... don't remind me...). I only have a few things I remember on OB: The RPG known as "Space Mission (lol)". Yes that was a horrible RPG, but only in grammer and spelling terms. The story went a little out of control, but in that thread I met my two every best friends: Dayday and Kesaki_Inedia... who had returned once, played The Dragon King RPG then... was gone ;_;. You guys are great friends, man I miss the good ol' RPG days... where I was indeed the n00b... The Tribe, my first RPG that went pretty well... but let me also say I was still n00b in that too. It was okay, but its second version didn't go so well. I made some friends there too, some great friends. I kinda miss my old newbie RPG's, too bad I won't be able to pull one of those off again... lol. "Basic Role play, Medieval characters only, have fun..." something along those lines anyway. Yes... Dmitri Dragoon, DuoMax, Orien_Xel, Eclectic, and that stupid Num_Tee fool, I haunt you all! This... was the best RPG, even thought I made myself look like a complete idiot about 50 times in one post. Great times... again... but still... I was such an idiot... we posted too fast sometimes and ended up deleting a load of post, I remember that... and I messed up at the very start, too >.< The OB Prom. Great RPG too. I went with DuoMax... and I did bad there too, damn straight I sucked at RPGing! But that was a good thread... Noticed how everything above took place in the Adventure Arena? If there was a huge war throughout the Otaku Lounge, I'm most likely to miss it because I'm too busy in the Adventure Arena... good times, I guess... I've been here for awhile now, and I'm still making huge mistakes and making myself look like an idiot... ^_^;; noticed I don't have a lot of friends around? Lol. But ever since I became an Otaku (1000+ post), which was on v6, I've been wondering... how the heck did I manage to stay on OB? James would have banned me in a snap I was so bad a posting, and I think I kinda pi**ed some people off aswell... so how did I survive? I have no idea... but atleast I got another chance, hang, 50 other chances! That's what I'm grateful for... OB's a big part of my life now, and the best moment for me was joining, even if I mess up in almost every post.
