Sure it would be nice...but its not really needed. The original FF7 for the PS is still and will always be a great game...just as FF6 is for the SNES. Graphics aren't everything y'know. Plus Dirge of Cerberus is coming out soon...which is sorta like a sequel/side story for FF7....and it looks awsome. Just don't expect the oldschool RPG formula, its more of a third person shooter, with RPG elements.

eh...we watched Trinity Blood in my Anime Club this past semester, and I must say I wasn't impressed with it. Its got nice animation and character designs and all...but the story wasn't very original. It was pretty much just a re-hasing of Trigun, only with Vampires. But thats just my opinion. I only bothered watching the first half of the series...so maybe it made up for everything in the end.

I'm more like Mario since I'm short, eat mushrooms, and travel through sew tubes to fight wierd shroom monsters. Oh and sometimes I have a racoon tail and a cool cape. :D

Yeah...I can see where the Gundam series has begun to lose steam. I've watched quite a few Gundam Seed episodes...and I wasn't very impressed. Its basically just another rehash of the original 0079 series. Even the "Zaft" mobile suits look the same as some of the Zeon MS. Some of the plot and characters are pretty much the same as well. I don't know if this was intentional though, or if it was paying homage to the original. All I know is that its not a very original concept overall. But thats just my opinion.

I only saw the first film..and I think thats enough. Sure it had some flashy gun play and decent special effects, but the story and performances weren't very good. Werewolves shooting Vampires with UV bullets?....riiiight. Also I didn't like how everything in the movie was all black and blue....it bothered me just as most everything in the Matrix had a green tint.

Narrator: "Having grown tired of constant beatings, Bowser decided to pull a Tyson and bite of Marios's ear." Bowser: Mmmm...Tastes like Pasta.

Yeah, I like the second batch of pics a little bit better too. The shot with you and your reflection making the heart sign is pretty cool. Also I can't help but say your hair looks awsome in all the pics.....but thats beside the point. Good job....again.
-
Not bad... You did a fine job of telling the story through just pictures, and without the use of words. Which is a skill that every good illustrator must learn. I might have added a little more detail....but being that its a children's book, the simplistic art style works well. Good job.

Well its a good start. I like the subject of the first pic, but its just too blurry. I don't know if you did that on purpose....but I think it'll look nicer if it were sharp. The second pic is the best of the 3. Its a nice close up shot and the letters over the mouth is a good touch. But your < and 3 don't really match up. The last pic is ok.....but just looks too open. It'd be much cooler if it were more zoomed in on the cat. Well good job none the less. I look forward to seeing more pics. :D

8/10 xliquidousx, both your avatar and sig are really nice.....even though I don't know who they are showing. I'm sure he's some jrock guy...right? Anyways, I like how sharp the images are, and there is good contrast between the black and white. But all in all I think your sig is better than your avatar. Maybe if you used a darker pic it'll match up better. ...but thats just my opinion. :D EDIT: Seems like someone beat me to it. But oh well....

Yeah those are all pretty good. Personally I like the first and seventh pics the best. But all in all they're all good...the only problem I see is that there isn't enough contrast in many of them.

Wow...thats you? You look totally different from what I remember. Anywyas the pics are nice, like most of your work. My favorite out of these 3 has to be #2. I like the way you cropped it....sorta gives it more of an emotional feel. Heh...for some reason the first one reminds me of a White Stripes album cover. Guess its the restricted color scheme. Good job. :D -
I don't know if they have one out yet, but I think Realbout Highschool would make a great 2-D fighting games. They could use high resolution game sprites like they have in Street Fighter 3 and Guilty Gear X. They'd have to use the characters from the manga though because there were so many and I loved their character designs....especially G and Taiho. It could pretty much follow the same story line too...with the Femal Shinsengumi fighting G and his thugs. All in all the manga has everything a good fighting needs. Some of the characters even look as through they were ripped from a Street Fighter game.

I have to say that one of the best endings I've seen was in ICO.
After killing the queen with his big, glowy sword and having his horns broken off, the main character is trapped as the castle begins falling down on top of him. Then, after doing nothing throughout the entire, Yorda actually makes herself useful and saves ICO....but stays behind as the castle falls.
Sure it sounds sad, but what makes it really good is
when ICO reaches the beach, he discovers Yorda has washed up there, safe and sound. And they lived happily ever after!!!
Heh, I know...its a bit mushy, but I'm a softy at heart. Plus the cinematic feel of the entire game really makes it heartwarming. The same can be said for Shadow of the Colossus, which also had a great, heartfelt ending. And
every lived happily in that one too. Even the horse! Sure Wander might have been reduced to an infantile state, but it all worked well together.
But then again.....thats just my opinion.

Heh those are pretty good. Some have some similarities to other pics I've seen, but most are pretty original. Out of all of them I like "Disecting Hobbos" and "Good Greif". But thats just because I like violence.

Pearl Jam and Soundgarden suck eggs?!! NO! You suck eggs!!!........ Um..sorry, that was childish. Anyways I like Nirvana....even bought their Silver CD last week. But I like many don't consider them the best band ever, heh....thats the Beatles. All in all they were a good grunge band from Seatle, but there were alot of other bands that came out in the early nineties that were just as good, like Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, and Alice in Chains. And their songs hand just as much meaning. But then again thats just my opinion. You could be right........ :D

One of the most annoying enemies that I've faced lately has to be the Bulldog Colossus from Shadow of the Colossus.....I forgot which number it was. He's super fast and if he knocks you down he just keeps raming you until you're dead. It gets pretty annoying after a while.

Anime you were destined to watch? Destined?! Wow...I understand that people really like some shows, but I seriously doubt they have anything to do with someone's destiny. Anime is just one of the many way to escape reality, and entertain yourself. The same can be said about any movie/tv show. I mean, have they really had some strong infuence in your life? Well thats just my opinion...but I'll play ball. I believe it was my destiny to see Demon City Shinjuku! I used to think anime was stupid, until I caught a glimpse of this movie when it aired on the Sci Fi Channel's Saturday Anime block. I must admit, I liked it...and thus my interest in Japanese Animation began. I mean...that has to be destiny...right?

Sure some of my favorite bosses are some of the classics, like Sephiroth and M. Bison, but lately my veiws have changed a bit. Now my favorite boss battles have to be the Colossi from Shadow of the Colossus. Not only are most of them friggin' huge, but they require you to think. Each one has a particular weakness you need to find and exploit in order to get onto their massive bodies. My favorite boss from the game has to be the Sky Dragon you fight in the desert. It was certainly the most entertaining fight in the game. The Bull Dog fight was pretty neat too, only because it left you with little room for error. You had to constantly jump and climp from pillar to pillar, and pray to god you don't fall to the ground, cause that cheap bastard would just keep ramming you until you were dead. Well...thats all I've got for now.

Well I've just gotten into the series, but I think Aki from Ceres Celestial Legend is one of the most um...interesting villians. At first he's a really nice guy who goes to school and loves his family, but
when his other personality surfaces he's a total psycho. He starts putting his fists through people's chests and even makes out with his sister! Not only that, he goes nuts and shoots his sister's boyfriend like twenty times!
Yup...he's quite the sicko, which really makes you hate the guy. Oh and Naraku from Inuyasha is a good one too. The way he manipulates people is great!

Well I would really like alot of games that I've been too cheap to buy. Which is what makes Christmas so great...others can buy or give you the money to buy games! Well my list so far is made up of: Shadow of the Colosus (Because it looks friggin' awsome), Dragon Quest VIII (Because the demo was really fun), Resident Evil 4 (Also looks friggin' awsome), and Burnout Revenge (Because Burnout 3 was great). Hopefully I'll be able to get a few of these. But then again...they might just end up distracting me from my college work.

Anime Which animes should be on or put back on t.v.?
WW2 replied to graysky07's topic in Otaku Central
I'd really like to see the whole Robotech/Macross series on tv again. It has always been one of my favorite shows....and I think it'd be good to introduce the kids today to one of the classics. Also the old Gundam series would be good to see again. Cartoon Network started showing it a couple of years ago but stopped a little over half ways into it.....which totally sucked. But this of course is just my opinion. -
Well I really like alot of the newer games like FFVII and Ico.....but my favorite game has to be the oldschool Genesis shooter Gunstar Heroes. It had really good music, graphics (for the time), and the levels were awsome (like the board game and subway level). Oh and there were lots and lots of explosions. I hear they made a sequel on the GBA...but I never played it.

Anime If you could be any anime character, who would you be?
WW2 replied to Shadow Blade's topic in Otaku Central
Um..Kenshin? I don't think that would be a good choice. I mean he's constantly tormented by all the people he's killed and in the end he
dies on the side of the road from some horid disease.
Thats deffinately not somebody I'd like to be. But then again, Maybe thats what makes him such an interesting character. Anyway...I don't think I'd like to be anyone in the anime universe. Most of all the people are either screwed up in the head, constantly attacked by crazed, sometimes erotic enemies, or too happy go lucky to notice anything. But thats just my opinion. :D -
At first I didn't think IGPX was gonna be too good, but when I watched it I was actually surprised. I really liked the animation value they put into the show, the characters have fluid motion on and off the track. The mecha designs for the racing mechs were all cool. Also, the whole concept of the race was really great. I like how they had pit stops and caution laps just like in auto racing. You can tell that the creators really put some thought behind it. Hopefully all this won't change by the next episode. If it stays consistant, IGPX should turn out to be a real good series.
