well, monkeys are about as human as the eva are really, minus the metal ofcourse. they don't have the same functions as humans but, as eva unit 00 tried punching through the wall to get to gendou or whoever that shows it has memories, and monkeys.. well.. they throw feces at people who were mean to it, so that memories i suppose.. and i personally believe animals have souls and the eva have souls in them, both are close forms, but not really human-human.. the seven eyes on lilith are the seven eyes of god, the three main evas are the three barons of hell, and why the orange one to blue, guess maybe it was just an after thought, someone thought was cute to get purple.

yeah, anime really isn't just japanese animation, but all animation in general, but us english speaking people have such a wonderful way of bastardizing words so that it can take on a whole new meaning. as most anime fans know by now, you wouldn't tell a japanese person that you're an otaku, or you'll get some strange looks..

i guessin their next step will be gettin stuff like the slayers, that is clean enough really to put most of it on toonami give or take a few lina's size jokes, and they'll have to do a bit of hacking to it, it'll probably be on adult swim but ranma too, yup, we could always use more rumiko takahashi.. and before they start whining, i guess move the rest of toonami discussions to its designated board..

heheh amen to that.. people talk down toonami, but atleast we ain't thought to be such dorks for liking that "pokemon and porn crap" which pokemon was good too before that we were just watching porn...

hehe its cute, my only suggestion is resizing either the left or right eye, and other than that the porportions really ain't too bad for a stylized character, but most chibi characters (believe it or not) actually have some porportion to them, like the head is one unit, and the body is 1.5..

yeah, but it seems toonami is the major spring board for most. my friend's into kenshin. at first she claims she didn't like it, but as she talked about it more and more you could see she was warmin up to it, so now she's asking me to see the movies, manga future episode dvds.. so see where she goes from there..

vash did seem a bit much like jim carrey at times, but hey i liked him like that, it was such a wonderful taste of irony..
