1. I forget how to get the Magic Armour, but you get it from the eskimo guy. I think it has something to do with the whole trading buisness. I remember the love letter thing, though. There's a guy that is always walking slowly towards the mailbox. I think he starts up at the top where the kids are, whenever you leave a building/enter the island. Anyway, he is wearing a red shirt and kind of reminds me of Mario, in a strange sense. If you talk to him, he says something about the Rito postman. You need to wait over by the mailbox until he gets there and take a pic of him putting in a letter. The tricky thing is, if you get close to him he stops. The place I took a pic of him was on top of the entrance gate thingee you walk through. Make sure you stay out of sight until he is through the gate, then walk to the edge and snap a pic. I hope that is an accurate enough desciption.
2. Yeah, i was puzzled by the dissapearance of that thread. I remember I had just replied to EMU's question on it when it went. I'll just post it again. I will put a shortened version near the bottom of this post so look at the bottom if you don't want to read.
To get Briggs out you need to finish clearing off the mast of the broken boat in Alhafra. You need to use Burst on the big rock. This will start a chain of events and Briggs will escape, taking the boat to Champa. Follow him and he will flee to theroom with the forge. Fight some monster(easy) and then talk to his mom and give her the three trident pieces. If I am correct, the center piece is in Tundaria Tower at the far south. It is on a snow covered continent called Tundaria south of where you get to the blacksmith guy. There is also a wild Jupiter djinni s/w of the tower. Tundaria tower is similar to the shrine of the sea god and the ankhol ruins. At the top you get the burst brooch, use this on the iceicle encaseing the center prong at the entrance of the tower.
Short version:
Go to Tundaria Tower at the south end of the world. Get Burst Brooch. Use Burst by the entrance to get Center Prong. Go to Alhafra. Use Burst to finish clearing the mast. Follow Briggs to Champa. Defeat salamander-like monster. Give Briggs mom the trident pieces. Oh and the minerals and stuff make one weapon each. So if you had 4 of the water stone thingees you could get four items. Each forgeable item can make four or five different things, but you may not get every item. The forge in Champa has nothing to do with these. One more thing. Once you have the trident give it to any character but you don't have to equip it. I don't know if it affects your stats at all. When you start fighting Poseidon, select 'items' for the person with the trident. Select the trident and when that person uses it a giant trident will fall down on Poseidon dealing heavy damage and negateing the force field. You can use it any number of times, to the best of my memory.
P.S. do you think we should put spoiler tags on these? (I'll add some anyway, just incase so someone doesn't get upset. Although I don't know why someone wouldn't expect spoilers in a help thread...- Semjaza)
3. The first star is called Eldstar and you fight the Koopa Bros. The second is Mamar and you fight Tutankoopa. The third is Skolar and you fight Tubba Blubba & his heart. The fourth is Muskular and you fight General Guy. The fifth is Misstar and you fight the Lava Piranha. The sixth is Klevar and you fight Huff N. Puff. The seventh is Kalmar and you fight the Crystal King. What was that prestongraff?
Originally posted by prestongraff No pick nomething else, I beat that game 2 years ago I dont remember any of the star spirits names and noone else here remembers so just think of something else
I do believe you are wrong. 4. Ever gotten to one spot on your favorite game and just couldn't figure out what to do and you've been on that spot for days and days and days until UGH! you're ready to put your foot through that screen? Well, I have decided to start a thread for those people stuck and frustrated, or even just stuck. Feel free to post questions and alos answers, if you know the answer to someone's question. Please be sure to specify what game you are asking about and and clearly describe what has you stumped. I will do what I can to help but I may have to rely on other people to answer. Hopefully this thread will be able to help people get through a tough game. Thanks for participating! p.s. please do not criticize people if they are stuck. p.s.s. if you have anything to suggest please PM me.
5. I think it would be cool if they added those meters they have in the marvel vs. capcom. You know, the ones that fill up as you attack? Then you can use those really powerful special attacks unique to each character. Online gaming would be cool, but there are too many problems that go with it. Any lapses in the gameplay would take away some of the fun of it. As to Ridley, they could just shrink him a little bit. They did have him in the SSBM intro, after all. It would also be cool to have custom character design, but the Super Smash Bros. series is supposed to be characters from nintendo or nintendo games. A level editor would be cool, but it would either be severly limited or way too complicated. Seeing Sonic and Co. would be awesome, but nintendo would have to get rights from sega. Nintendo might not even make a third game, but i think it would be a moneymaker, unless they start to make too many. I mean, if they eventually come out with, say, SSB7 or so, it would most likely be much the same as the previous game. Games like SSB don't have a lot to change, aside from new characters and levels. On a final note, i think it would be cool if the story mode actually was a story, with a plot and stuff.
6. I don't have SA2 but i do have the original and it kicked butt. If SA2 is as good as everyone says i'll have to get it soon. The first one was a little too easy, i thought. The bosses weren't that hard, but there was one chaos emerald i couldn't get after trying and trying. So i guess SA2 is a must-have! P.S. i am a sonic fan
7. The StarWolf Team is: Wolf Leon Andrew Pigma But i don't know the surnames. If that's acceptable here's another StarFox question. In StarFox64, what happens if you get a medal on every level?
8. in case i was unclear, let me rephrase the question. i meant the earliest mission, which was not the oblask dam. Also don't forget the latest one was the robot factory.
9. I beat it with 14 hearts. I didn't bother with the figures because i didn't have the deluxe pictograph. I only had three bottles, and maybe half of the treasure maps. At least i had the map full! I think the boss could've been easier, though. It was dissapointing.
10. eh... i think it's mario, link, peach, bowser, donkey kong, zelda, shiek, ganondorf, captain falcon, jigglypuff, pikachu, kirby, fox, yoshi. i'm probably forgetting some, i haven't played in a while. On the off-chance i got it right, here's my question: Q: In Timesplitters 2, what is the difference in years between the first mission and the last? bonus: What years do each mission take place on?
