Oh and poison is great too because those stupid snails think my garden is just for them!
... You know, salt works just as well, if not better, than poison. Just seems better for the envioronment, and your garden in general. o.o;; Salt for the win.
Aleia, you are totally fired.
Me? Fired? =< ..... *puts hands dramatically over forehead* Oh, the peer pressure. It's just too much! *sway* Anyways. I have really curly hair normally/naturally, and sometimes my room mate gets bored and takes her flat iron out and straitens my hair for me. So everyone is priveleged to pictures.. of both. =] -----> Strait -----> Curly
My main 'look' is termed: casual bored. I don't really mess with my hair or spend too much thought deciding what to wear for the day unless I'm going to some kind of formal/special social event (job interview, date, etc.). I don't think you're vain, lol. There are plenty of people who are more narcissistic about themselves. Showing off a haircut is pretty low on my "You might have an ego" scale. I took some pictures with my two year old webcam just now. Pardon the quality. Was taken like a month ago with a much better camera than my webcam.
Liek omg. Ur so prettyful. ^^;;
I avoid girls because they all have cooties.
That's cause they got them from the yucky boys. Cootiefull things, boys are I dont believe I think anything all too different when I see a guy. My mom didn't believe in playdates, and so I wasnt really exposed to other girls till I was tossed into kindergarten. By that time the only play mates I ever had were my two boy cousins and my younger brother. So yeah. A boy's a boy. Just have to be carefull 'bout catchin' them cootie buggers off 'em. ^_~

What do you think your signature says about you?
lea replied to shadowpimp's topic in General Discussion
Mine either means I really like those crazy silly oxymorons, or I am attracted to/tend to attract/add to/live through chaos, as oxymorons are rather contradictory of each other. Sorta like how when hot air and cold air mix and create tornadoes. ;P But more likely the first reason, I'm sure. -
If you could meet other OtakuBoards members, would you?
lea replied to a topic in General Discussion
Hmm. If I could meet other OtakuBoards members, would I? I've hung out with Charlie (Charles) numerous times, and I now find myself mentally scarred for life . Just... don't do it. -

I love it when it rains, just not if it's freezing outside. Or extremly hot. But rain is nice. Especially if there's thunder and lightning. =D Clear and breezy is wonderful; cloudy and breezy is incredible, ect. I like too many things to be all that specific; I just dont like extreme heat or extreme cold. You know, the kind that lots of people die in.

I happen to be 5' 5 - 5'6. I'm 20, so obviously I'm not going to grow any taller. I'm the oldest of 6 kids, and the shortest of all of them. My 11 year old sister is a bit taller than me. *laughs* The only person in the immediate family that's shorter than me is my mom. The tall genes came from my dad, so yeah.

Actually Alex, it's funny that you posted that. Well, not funny haha, but funny odd. Nevermind, I dont think the story is appropriate to post. I dont believe today is a good day to be banned. ^.^ At my mom's house, my family had 4 dogs, two being rat terriers (Little things, they are 0_o) and 7 cats. Recently, the same day my grandfather died, the little girl rat terrier dog died. My grandfather had a dog (Collie) and a cat, so I think my mom now has again 4 dogs and 8 cats. Dogs from my expirience slobber a lot and smell bad. The only dog that didnt smell is the one that my mom has, and that's because she's part of a certain breed that I cant remember at the moment. >.< But other than the slobbering and bad smell part, they're nice, playful and stuff. But I wouldnt keep one in the house. Cats... I like cats. Cute and cuddly. ^_^ But I dont want to have nearly as many as my family do, because that can just cause problems. Granted, only three are inside cats, but yeah.

If I knew toast made you that happy, I would have given you some for your birthday. I thought it was interesting how you compared toast to the air and such. That was rather clever. =)

Who would you take a bullet for and who would you die for?
lea replied to Krycifer's topic in General Discussion
.... He basically said that since I'd be taking a bullet for him, and he'd be taking a bullet for me, we'd knock each other down, and the bullet would fly over our heads, which I think is a great solution - since no one dies! XD
And that's how it oughta be =P I really can't think of any possible real-life situations where anyone would have to take a bullet for anyone, unless they lived where I live and became "active in the community". I mean, unless you do really dumb things/blunder yourself into really stupid situations, most people wouldnt be in that situation unless they were at war. And, like others have said before me, when adrenaline is being pumped and circulated heavily in your system, your perceptions and such change. Reaction time is faster, heart rate is way up there; your body is in a fight or flight mode. And so your way of thinking could very much indeed change. So not counting completely random-but-rare situations, most people wont ever have to choose. -
Funny how I find this thread right after completing a timed practice end-of-exam test in English class =P I'm spoiled in the fact that I hate writing things out by hand, if I can avoid it. I type most everything out using the computer. Faster, neater, and less scribbing out for me. What makes me a little bit nervous is the way my college works, we have to take a board approved and graded test in exactly two weeks. This test is timed, taken in class (ie hand written), and decides if we pass the English course or not. So my English grade pretty much rides on one single test, and things are going to suck badly for me if the topic doesnt interest me in the least. =X

I'm about to ask the woman i love to marry me
And I'm sure that DeathKnight would agree with me, that even those of us who no longer fit into the "teenager" category, are still pretty heavy on the eccentricities.[/color']
Eccentric all the way. ^_~ Ergh. I think a good time to consider even popping the question is when you can legally have champainge at your own wedding. Live your own life a bit before you think about settling down. Just an opinion, though. -
What Mia pointed out was what I was trying to point out in the musician story you had written before. The way she expressed it was much better than how I had, though. *nods*

Is that all, or are you going to do more with it? I want to know, before I comment. *nods*

I remember my mom and dad were very strict on the subject of Barbies. *in toy store* Mom: You cant have a Barbie because they are bad. Me: *gasp* Why? How? =O Mom: I'll tell you when you're older. u.u;; Eventually, I persisted (annoyed?
I don't believe that anyone has stated that the anger toward the shooter was ill-placed. Of course there is anger directed at him and the inexpressibly horrible thing that he has done... but there is also compassion for a child who thought that this was the only way to express his despair. Someone should have been paying attention to what was going on within him long before this had even entered his mind. I don't see any problem with being angry with someone and grieving for them at the same time.
Exactly! It drives me crazy, to the point where it really makes me angry, when people make a situation into a "good guy, bad guy" kind of thing. I am not saying that no one should be angry at the shooter; lives were lost and changed forever. Even if you werent personally there, there is a ripple effect. You knew somone who knew somone, or you could have a soft spot of sorts for this type of situation. But what you cant do is act holier than thou. Every one has the capacity to kill somone. Everyone has the capacity to be pushed towards the edge. Saying that, no matter the situation, you still make your own choices. There are situations where if you are a certain way, you need to stop and think, to really see all the choices you have. Obviously, some people dont do that. I'm not saying what the shooter did was right, but I can identify, understand what he felt, as to what would push him to that place; I can sympathize.

Actually, the hallway reminded me of the book Alice in Wonderland, untill things progressed a bit more. One of the things that really sucked me in was when you italicized and parenthesized Chris's feelings at certain points in the story, when things were happening. It made many parts very clamatic, made you feel exactly what Chris was feeling. *grins* You doing that made my heart race and I was completely absorbed and involved in the flow of the story. =D Overall, I think this peice is wonderful. *claps hands*

Out of curiosity, are people that never heard of Islam, are they going to hell? How come God doesnt judge based off of your intentions, your beliefs?
Charles, I think you're sick. But your sickness amuses me.
That made me laugh way too much.

Wow, Shin. I really like the way this is going. I'd comment more, but I am currently procrastinating, which...is bad. I am excited to see what you're going to do next, with this peice. =D

Wow. That was really good. The only thing that I noticed that you could fix is how you used some words too many times, within a span of a few sentences. Like in this part: The guitarist watches the man leave, and then he goes to the back room. He scrounges around for a minute or two, and unearths the mop from behind a couple of ladders. Then, he sees a bucket near the door and picks that up. The bucket is halfway filled with water. He hauls the mop and its bucket to the front room, and begins mopping near the automatic doors. He dips the mop into the bucket of water, takes it out, and starts mopping the floor. Water from the mop starts spreading across the floor. Some of the water splashes from the mop, and hits the lower half of his shirt. He puts the mop down, leaning it against a shelf, and he decides to get an apron from the back room. There is a closet in the back room where some supplies are kept. The guitarist ambles towards it, and opens up the closet door. There are a few blue aprons hanging from some hooks on the back wall. The guitarist takes an apron and puts it on. He ties the strings holding the apron together in a loop behind his back." The words "mop","bucket", "floor", and "apron" are used a lot of times, in those two paragraphs. You could use different words in place of some of them every few, use "it" or something like that, or join some of the sentences together. Other than that, it's very good. *grins*
