1. I have been looking for a job for over 6 months.... I still dont have one yet. Jobs are extremely scarce where I live. When this new store opened up, there was a reported over 200 people lined up in a humongouse line, to apply for jobs. Not one person was there to buy anything... =\
2. I think in certain cases, especially if you are poor, things should be either free, or drastically reduced. Of course, there will be people disputing that if you don't have the money, then tough luck.... I just think differently -_-
3. Hmm....strange no one mention Mulan yet... I think it is a very good example of a Disney movie ^_^
4. Yeah, I felt the ending was weak, but I wasn't sure how else to end it. If anyone has any suggestions, I would consider them (Yeah, I am a bit new at poetry...just wait untill I have more expirience)
5.
Originally posted by KarmaOfChaos o.o The suicide poetry, it is everywhere.
Well...technically, this isn't really about suicide. Thank you for the comments, though ^_^
6. As the angry frustration mixes with heavy pain It builds a pressure I know I cannot contain. I need to let it out, to find a release To let my raging emotions leave me in peace. As I trace designs with my pretty knife I think about my messed up life. I watch the red rise and grow As it becomes a strong flow. I grab some tissues to clean up the mess To make the river flow less As my cuts cry their tears I feel a sense of euphoric fear. I know my cuts will physically spill the secret As I tell myself to keep it.
7. This Why not..... He could be said to be A video game playin' tomatoe-hatin' easy goin' guy. Secretary of KIR Site hostin' Music lovin' AH fan.
8. Here is the site... http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/01/21/48hours/main594974.shtml >_< I am not sure of how to make it a link using VB code, so just copy and paste.
9. On the news, I saw a report about a canadian guy of Syrian background who was accused of being a terrorist. He was arrested by the US without any proof, and was deported to Syria, for "interrogation". When he finally came back to Canada, to his wife and kids (who haven't heard from him when he was suddenly arrested, and after a long period of time were notified that he was in government costody) he told everyone about how he was tortured while in Syria. Do you believe the US sent him to Syria, knowing information would be gotten by "extreme measures"? Do you believe the guy was even tortured? Do you think the government would do anything as unethical as what he is claiming? Or do you think you shouldn't believe stories like this on T.V?
10. Sometimes, I forget that people on the internet aren't as honest and sane as I would like to believe. In my whole experience with the internet, I have met people who weren't who they said they were. There have been kids from school that pretended to be other kids, and gushed about their "uncontrolable love" for me. Like the one time a drunk kid snuck on his friend's AIM name....but that's another story. I have met a kid who wasn't....stable. It just became apparent when the more I talked to him, the more he seemed erratic and dangerouse. 0.0 In the end, I think you have to exercise your caution, and trust your judgement. If you feel there is something wrong, then there is.
11. Japan 86s' is about Transtic Nerve ^.^ I can't guess Mimmi's though.... *thinks up of one to put in later*
12. Meh...I think there are two sides to the abortion issue, so there would be no use for me to go :p
Originally posted by Heaven's Cloud I have been to the Holocaust museum recently and I truly think that a person would have to be inhuman not to be moved while visiting that museum
I know it's a bit off topic, but I found the museum to be really really moving, to the point of tears.... When I was a senior in highschool, a lady came and talked about when she was a little girl, and going through the Holocaust...all of her childhood was about surviving. She lost every single family member, every relative, all of her friends. She was talking about how she wasn't angry anymore about it. I .. I found that to be really amazing and wonderful. I know thats not what I mean, but its the best I can try to explain it.
13. As most of you know, in the US, people vote to decide who is the next president. If you're able to vote, and none of the candidates match your exact views, do you think you should just vote for the person that seems to agree with some of what you believe? Or do you think you shouldn't vote at all? I mean, voting for the sake of voting seems kinda....stupid. :therock:
14. I know this is late, but I think it would be really neat if I could join too.... *leaves decision in the hands of the all knowing thread creator* ^_~
15. In my local newspaper, there was an article about a guy (17) and his girlfriend (16) who were having sex. When the guy turned 18, they were still going out and doing stuff. The girl had gotten pregnant, the hospital told the authorities about them, and now the boyfriend is arrested for sexual assult. Just something to think about...
16. Ah, If I could ever be part of such momentous occasions....its because of my half hour time limit. Darn the time limit!!!! In all honesty Desbresko, you have a talent for funny ^.^
17.
Originally posted by outlawstar69 I am the second oldest at 17, and I often feel like the oldest though. My three sisiters.. well, one is older, and goes here as well. (stays off that topic.)
Excuse me? 0.o As for me, I dont think my siblings are that bad...unless they are acting all jerk-ish and whatever. Or when my mom blames me for what negative attitude/habit/behavior they "learned" from me... I have to ask, if they learned bad habits from me, where did I learn mine from?
18. ?It is such a beautiful summer day?, the girl said, as a warm honeysuckle scented breeze caressed her face. She sighed happily, looking at all the bright flowers, the pretty blue of the sky, the white fluffy clouds. Walking on the sidewalk up ahead was her good friend. She smiled, thinking of all the long talks they had, all the secrets they shared. ?Hey, wait up!? She called, running to catch up. Her friend didn?t turn around, until she tapped him on the shoulder. She gasped in confusion at the hardness in his eyes; the hate, the anger. She smiled a reassuring smile. He slapped her hard on the face. ?I care about you? she whispered. He punched her in the gut. ?I care about you, even if you don?t care about me? She gasped. She stood there, looking at her friend with love in her eyes. She made a move to hug him, to love his worries away. He moved close to her, and sank his glinting hate in her heart. ?I love you? she whispered, as he took his knife out. The colors around her started fading. He roughly shoved her off of him. She lay face up, staring at the clouding sky. He sneered at her. He laughed as he walked away. ?I love you, even if you don?t love me? she whispered to the sky. She stared as the worlds colors faded away, to shades of gray. As she laid there, her heart bleeding, she knew she had been living a lie; what she perceived now is what reality really is. She shivered as a cold cruel wind blew around her, accentuating the wound in her chest. She stared at the gray cloudy sky, wondering just what went wrong. Little snow flurries lit upon her dark lashes as her eyes closed for the last time.
19. I have to agree with Mimmi. Lol, she said what I wanted to say best.

21. I wanted one....but then I thought about what I would do with my ring after I graduate. Then, I realized there really is life after high school.... _>
22. In school, kids would always harrass me about my religion and other stuff..... What I never understood is why they never ever picked on my brother, who is a year younger than me (and seems to be popular 0.o)
23. What's sad is that I know some kids who would "play by the rules" lol, its those kids that adults think are the majority....when they really just live near me -.-
24. One time in kindergarden, a boy kissed me on the cheeck..... lol, that was my first (and only) kiss.....
25. When I posted this thread, I didn't mean to sound racist. What I mean is, do you think a woman president would handle situations/crisis differently? Well, what I am trying to say is, what if we could have an American president who was raised in a different background then the "typical" president? Do you think America would change, even just a bit? Baron, if you want a thread about your political system, what's stopping you from making one? -.-
