2. i knew i a gay guy that liked to call his boyfriend his partner...he felt freaked by calling the guy he likes his boyfriend; he said he felt gay saying that.... lol, so in turn, i think gay is a feeling, a state of mind; love is love, no matter who you bestow it on
  3. ah, the sweet innocence of childhood.... when your biggest concern is waking up in time for saturday cartoons, what your next art project in school is, and what game your going to play with your friends at reccess/playtime.... sadly, not every kid's childhood is so carefree.... >_+
  4.
Originally posted by Baron Samedi Surely if we weren't meant to be doing it, we would all be smited by a divine being....
hmm....so murders, rapes, and stealing is ok, because not everyone that does that stuff gets smited by a divine being? :p "I honestly think these people should try to get some kind of mental therapy as opposed to just changing their sex." - wrist cutter you know, i am going to have to agree with that one..... its a better, safer precaution to having the surgury (i think it would be somthing very, umm, difficult to reverse) when you think about it, the people who do get the sex change surgury never really get a "perfect" surgury....there are always things that can't be changed
  5. turning 18 isnt that big of a deal... i thought i might feel different, but i felt the same as when i was 17....which felt the same as 16...which felt the same as 15.... the only thing i felt was embarrassment, because my mom wouldnt let me get my permit untill i was 18 (where i live, you can get it at 16 X_+ ) i can buy any type of music i want now ^_^ (when i wanted to buy system of a down, for example, i needed identification....o.- )
  6. do any of you guys have family/personal traditions or customs that you follow regularly? my family for many years has had pizza on saturday night (we take turns making them) you know, now that i think about it, i am not sure how that one came about..... anyways, it can include things pertaining to the religiouse traditions and customs, too

    Murder.
Originally posted by KnightOfTheRose For people that have done everything that you can possibly do, I'm sure life can get a little boring. You're a genius. You make seven or eight figures a year. You have a wife. A family. A dog/cat/goldfish/gerbil/ferret/whatever. What's left? How about the pure thrill of extinguishing a life without the slightest fear of the reprocussions? That entrances me. I can imagine killing someone. I can almost garauntee that I would enjoy it. The only thing that stops me from doing it is that I am afraid of what would happen to me afterward. I'm smart enough to not leave evidence. I'm smart enough to get rid of possible identifying marks (i.e. dental, fingerprints, unique marks or scars). But my mind would bring me down. Remorse? No. I have almost complete control of my emotions. In fact, the only ones that give me trouble are love, lust, and fear. Fear would be my downfall. I haven't seen anyone murdered, or murdered someone, yet.
is it just me, or was i the only one that got a funny feeling from reading that? jeesh, that almost sounds like a promise.... as for me, i have never seen a murder....and i dont think i could have the "nerve" to be on the handle end of the knife....(i dont think its in my nature)
  8.
Originally posted by maladjusted Most Americans can't tell the difference between Chinese, Japanese, and Korean anyway.
hmm..i never heard korean music before but, i have heard chinese (ever hear of she? really good ^_^ ) and i heard alot of j-pop.. but, never korean (i think it would be interesting to hear)

  10.
Originally posted by PoisonTongue LOL. You should know I don't ***** and moan. And did you really want evidence to support my claim of the human race being monsters? Do you read the ******* paper? Do you watch the news?
see, the thing about what you said there is that they only have bad things on the news...they dont say "at ten, we will show how littly susy saved a kitten from being run over by a car" or "look at how billy saved his allowence for years and built a good homeless shelter...." yes, i agree, MOST of the human race can/are monsters (child molesters, rapists, hitler), but, not every single person that is human is a monster. you cant make such huge generalizations like that and still be reasonable. to do somthing like that, you need to know every single person on the planet, and you dont..... i dont mean to critisize you, but think about that, ok? :)

  12. we got into this in 11 grade acedemic english... i saw a documentary listing all the possible reasons, and i agree it started out with the mold theory...and it went downhilll from there..... the rest were just lies to get rid of people they (majority of the community) just plain didnt like, or thought odd.... dumb people -.-

i have to agree with Baron Samedi, it is creepy, and yet, so impresively good *awed silence* if this was a book, it would be a bestseller...
Originally posted by SadClown Thats funny. I know a lot of people who have gone there as exchange students and they said they learned more Japanese than they had in all their years of studying it. A funny thing indeed.
lol, thats because it was two weeks, not a school year....
Originally posted by wrist cutter Honestly... while in Japan EVERYONE spoke to me in English. Granted it was poorly pronounced and broken, and generally just not that great, but they are more than willing to cater to you in the field of language. I don't know why teachers even bother teaching kids greetings like "konnichiwa" or "ohayou gozaimasu" or anything of that sort. Everyone just says "haro" to you if you're white.
do you guys think there should be a universal language created, so there are no language barriers? i said that to somone once, and they said yeah, there already is..english! thats a bad attitude to have, really.....
  24. Ravenstorture, as one training to be a maturnity nurse/midwife, that joke is pretty nasty.... me, personally, i hate baby jokes.... ---------------------- ok, if this is considered double posting, even though the posts are about 2, 3 days apart, just tell me, k? six guys are playing poker. after losing $500 on one hand, smith clutches his chest and topples over, dead at the table. to decide who's going to tell his wife, his buddies draw straws. anderson picks the shortest one. "break it to her gently" they urge. "leave it to me" he says. when smith's wife comes to the door, anderson says, "your husband just lost $500 playing cards." "HOW MUCH??" the wife yells, eyes blazing. "tell him to drop dead!!" ____________________________________________ A pregnant woman lapses into a coma. She awakens and frantically calls for the doctor. "You had twins, a boy and a girl. they're fine," He says. "Your brother named them" *Oh, no*, the new mother thinks. *he is an idiot.* expecting the worst, she asks,"Whats the girl's name?" "Denise" the doctor says. *Not bad* she thinks. *I guess I was wrong about him* "and the boy?" "DeNephew" ____________________________________________ Phil visits his doctor after weeks of not feeling well. "i have bad news," says the doctor. "you don't have long to live." "how long hae i got?" asks a distraught phil. "ten," the doctor says sadly. "ten? ten what? months? days?" the doctor interrupts, "nine..."
  25.
Originally posted by Harry It's not like they use that extra billion only for weapons since it's a surplas. They lose a lot of money also do to the mass terrorism. And if you think a couple of billion, imagine how much they would make if they put their stupid hatred behind them and actually let tourists go there. That's money right there.
what do you mean, let tourists go there? i have never heard where people werent allowed there from other countries..... [QOUTE]Heaven's CloudMy argument may have not been the greatest, but yours is just asinine and unfounded. Let?s take a brief look at the history of Palestinian and Israeli aggression over the past fifteen years. Leaders from both countries meet in DC and agree to terms of a cease fire or halt in aggression. A week later a Palestinian fanatic with a bomb strapped to his chest destroys half a city block. The Israeli?s tighten their security around the border, shooting encroachers. Palestinians become enraged and surround the soldiers pelting them with stones, until Israeli?s are forced to fire back. Is it unfair, yes. Have you been pelted in the head by a sharp rock traveling 60mph before?
no, i have never been pelted with a sharp rock traveling 60mph before, but, i have also never ran around with a gun shooting people, either.... there are good and bad people on BOTH sides of the isreali/palastine conflict, i just personally have heard from some palastinians and their views.... if any of you have heard from isrealies personally, feel free to make a comment......please
