No matter what you tell people, they're generally content to follow what they believe. Logic doesn't dent their armour, reasoning does not detract their gaze from the prize at the end of the rainbow. As long as they don't bother you, why does it hurt? Some people gain comfort or security from the 'knowledge' that there is somebody high in the sky, watching over them and protecting them. I'm not a subscriber to these beliefs, yet at the same time I'm prepared to accept that the truth may lie on either side. Which is what I wish more people would do ~_^

Seen "The Day After Tommorrow"? :D Anyway, yeah there have been a lot of...different weather phenomenon occurring. Western Australia is undergoing a bit of a drought [worst one for years], the East Coast is copping some batterings from storms, yeah... the question is, do these weather oddities represent a problem on our behalf, or are they naturally occurring cycles? Some people lay it down to the shifting of the Poles, but I wouldn't say I'm well enough versed in meteorology to say, lol.

Well if I was Prime Minister [OMFG n0t aMeRicAn!1!][yes, thats right, there are other people here too], and for some reasons had omnipotency over whatever area of Australian democracy that I wanted, then I would make a lot of changes to the judicial system. I think that there should be a board set up to take a look at every single case to pass through the Judicial System, and decide whether or not it is fitting. Many cases where people are suing are getting out of hand, many cases deserve to be thrown out of court for sheer stupidity. It disgusts me. I would impose life sentences for rape, murder and any offences relating to children. Cases where tenants kick out their landlords really piss me off, so I'd take a hand in that too. I'd intitate public shaming for those who've broken the law, but in a less serious manner...such as shoplifting, fraud, robbery etc. I'd restrict the advertising directed at children, and try to encourage more exercise and healthy living among children [and adults], and I'd fund the creation of gyms and recreation centres. I'd raise taxes on those who can afford it more, and ease the burden on poorer families. I'd try and take a hand in the public utilities and buy back any parts like Telstra and Western Power who are being sold off. Privatisation increases costs for consumers. There is probably a world of other things I'd like to do if I could too, but they're all details.

Personally, I don't really like tattoos. Even on a pretty woman, I feel that tattoo's give off a feeling that I don't like. I guess something really small, and discrete I could get over, but for some reason women & tattoos does not equal attraction. Something about it just puts me off. It is a feeling of being rough, and just...not the type of person I'm after, lol. As I said, thats how I feel though, not how it necessarily is. I just don't like tattoos on women. It has never appealed to me.

I personally believe that many of the rules and expectations that are placed upon us as individuals are outdated, unethical, and sometimes just downright, ridiculously stupid.
Such as? No running with scissors, no speeding, no drug dealing, no assault, no theft, no slander, no drinking and driving...what are you talking about? You've given absolutely no indication of what level of the law you're talking about here. I'm sure everyone here has J-walked at one time or another, but I doubt too many people have stolen a handbag.

A visit is a unique IP address any time between one midnight and the next midnight in Utah, or wherever these servers are at. If somebody visits you twice in the same day, then that will not count as another 'visit'.

Marjorie Marjorie was a gossip. Not just your average part-time gossip either?she was obsessed with everybody else?s business. Quite fortunately, she lived on a block where she had views into five other people?s backyards, six if you counted the fact that she could see into Susan?s yard if she was upstairs. Marjorie was a fully-fledged gossiper. Gasped as She Marjorie was in her backyard one fine afternoon, ostensibly to water her petunia?s and trim the hedge before it ran wild, but Janice had been told by Beatrice that Emily was having a little action on the side, and Marjorie just had to know! Her head ducked and weaved, attempting to peer through the fence palings. Finally Saw Him He was tall and dark?and very handsome. Emily and him were in the kitchen, and appeared to be talking very heatedly. Yet as Emily turned away from him in disgust, he raised a knife, and buried it in her back. As he turned around furtively, glancing out the window, his eyes locked with Marjorie?s. She gasped.

This cannot possibly be the end of the Bikini Bandits O_O! Your writing has improved too much, the characters have developed too far to be merely shunted off like so many mouldy sandwhiches... I'll be making a complaint about this >_>

All images have to be 150x80pixels, and under...150kb I believe. If you don't know how to shrink them, then I'd imagine whatever avatar you turn out with will be rather...unprofessional? It isn't hard to do, but especially if you try to shrink a big picture into 150x80, the resolution and quality will be shot to hell. I'd recommend asking someone to make one for you. Once they have, save it to your desktop, go to your Profile and Edit Avatar, and upload it. Piece of cake.

Don't drink anything for a few hours before you go to bed, don't listen to loud music, calm down and stay relaxed, maybe read for half an hour before turning out the lights...and then just lay there until you get to sleep. There's nothing else for it, really, unless you want to take medication.

Whistler He?s out there now, stalking the cornfields. Children, beware Whistler. His long black dreadlocks are woven through with the bones of small creatures, and his gnarled hands exist only to rend your body. In the cornfields, black coat flapping, stalks Whistler, and he is only waiting for you to meet him. Will you meet him?

What on Earth are you worried about with your writing? You set the scene well, your characterisation is well above par, your action sequences as well as your slower areas are all written to a high degree of quality.... you have nothing to be woried about. Excellent writing. I can visualise exactly whats going on, even though I only know the bare basics of it. I can get a feel for the location, and thats important. You're a damn good writer too, so don't beat up on yourself. Keep it up.

Teleportation would be pretty good. Why fly when you can teleport there. Or just teleport yourself into the sky and drop...and teleport and drop...and teleport and drop... I'm sure I could spend years amusing myself in that manner. Oh, and the ability to turn invisible would be cool as well ~_^. Just coz it would...

Maverick Hunters 3: B-Spec seems to have...err, quietened down, shall we say? I think only four more members ended up posting in there. Perhaps a reminding PM to the other remaining people would be good, or a new prompting post? And thats quite a resumè you've got there ~_^

I didn't change "quirked". Baron, I'm sorry, you should have made more of a fuss. I like seeing you all flustered and dramatic
Flustered? Dramatic? *rereads his post* Nope, I'm not seeing it. Anyway, I don't know why you didn't change quirked, but hey, whatever. Your story ~_^

Nice work. I still think that the GroupSounds smilies are more appealing than the anime ones though... Could there be an option to set which smilies you'd like displayed as default? Because that would rock. And additions is the answer, I think.

Consider yourself remembered, and welcomed back ~_^ It's always good to see familiar old faces here once more.

If you'd be accepting other nominations too, I find myself rather fond of the emoticons at GroupSounds. They are amusing, different and quite suitable in their style as well.

More projects would be good ;) I'd be interested in an archive of all major RPG's you've been involved with.

I think it would be a good idea to put the symbol at the end of the sig.

I don't think that cluttering up the postbit with what is essentially unnecessary information is worth it.
Does it really matter that much that you must know what sex they are? If it does, then that's sad, but it also means you would be willing to check somebody's profile for it. And if it doesn't, then it means you don't care. Catch 22.

Woah...James has a vicious side, doesn't he :p I only had one problem with the language in the story...you used 'quirked' twice, and neither time was it appropriate ~_^ Reise would have 'quipped', and Syk would have 'cocked'. Aside from that, it was an enjoyable read.

The 17x10^23th time an incarnation of that particular riddle has been said Ozy. The Captain says that he will be shot. And yours is shadow, Darksbane.

I concur with Asphy: Australia is so much more open. You can quite literally, walk off the footpath and onto the UWA grounds, or on the other side into the residential area, Currie Hall, even though you need a keycard to access the actual dorm buildings and rooms. I see many people complaining about people just being able to wander in and kill someone else: but whats to stop that happening as you're walking down the street? Nothing. I think you actually need to look at why people pull that crazy ****, not how to stop them from doing it in a school. Obviously security is important, but why is this happening so much in America? That is the real issue here.

If you don't have a natural affinity for comforting people, it's damn near impossible for people on an internet forum to tell you what to do. All I can say is that you should be there if he wants to talk to yuo about it.

I have the demo of it, which only allows you to get up into the cloud and bubble-gum tree land, where they've left out one of whatever the things is you need to find, so you can't get any further...either that or I missed it, lol. Anyway, I think that Tombi is a legendary game...it is just so much fun, and so cute, lol. I do hate that area in the bubble-gum tree land where there are all those planks that swing around, and you need to jump all the way over the place. So annoying, lol.
