I'll even write up a nice little piece for the blurb if it is ever published in hardcover format. "The N00b Hunter series sweeps the length and breadth of the Otaku Universe, containing a veritable plethora of gritty characters, and covering topics ranging from the depths of life, to the atrocities of a hell infested with n00bs. Prepare to be amazed, for N00b Hunter is like nothing you'll ever read again. Impossible to put down. A thrilling read."

idiotic things that people say about relationships
Baron Samedi replied to foreverinfinity's topic in General Discussion
To get back to the roots of this disagreement, Lady Rin may have had a shot at my 'manners', and Ranger definitely did. Was that fair and justified? No, but my question was. Unless my question was irrelevant or rude [which it was neither] then I didn't deserve to be 'talked to' like that. And, as a side-note, did you ever refer to yourself as 'only 15' at the time? I don't think so. Just remember that age is no indication of maturity, won't you? -

Well, there was no indication of that in her post. Maybe she was being sarcastic, but if she was, it was pretty useless. And it isn't as if 19 and 36 are all that close either. I'm amazed to see you didn't find some other way to 'prove me wrong' on my other points too. Could I possibly [just possibly] be correct? -

Laura L. told me that I was really to young to have a long term relationship with Ranger. She also once asked Ranger didn't he think I was a little too young for him. I heard that and I told her that we had been going together since I was 14.

And Rin & Ranger did not start dating when she was 14, I know this for [B]fact[/B'].
Might not know them as well as you think then.
Hold, on Baron. Before you get all upset at people telling you about etiquette, understand that Rin said it was rude to ask anything that implied a woman's age, and that a woman might be offened. Asking the age difference between a woman & her husband is most definately directly related to her age, is it not?
Of course it is. But her reference to it in her post made it a fair enough question to ask. Therefore it isn't rude. You'd think people would realise that, but I guess not, hey. Kind of disappointing overall, I'd say.
The dumbest thing? Baron Samedi asking Rins age. I'm surprised she didn't put you into time out.
Point proven. Its disappointing the amount of people who are blinded by impressions rather than fact. -
I'm afraid you totally lost me there Kitsune-Bito. Are you saying you purposely exaggerated your post, you didn't exaggerate your post, you have no idea what I meant, or you're a purple goldfish? Because frankly, I can't tell.

I eat it 2-3 times a week. And I'm only 16 for gods' sakes! Do you know how sickenning that is?! I feel so sick right now I think I'm going to do something extreme like become a vegetarian. Hell it's healthier than what's in my body now.
That was the kind of dramatic exaggeration I was referring to. Obviously, eating McDonalds or other fast-food very often isn't good for you, and I would consider 1-2 meals of it a week as acceptable. I wasn't only targeting you, I was targeting the whole anti-fast-food mentality that has sprung up recently. Especially such 'documentaries' as Super-Size Me. It is just common-sense that shows that fast-food is not particularly good for you. Why the big fuss? If people learned two concepts, that of 'moderation' and 'common-sense', then we wouldn't be having this problem.

I do see what you're saying, but in the end, religion is subjective not quantitative. Should anyone 'own' a national monument, and be able to forbid others from seeing it? No. It is the same with something like this...nobody can truly have a complete claim over it due to the fact that both sides value it, and they cannot refute the other sides claim to it. Which is why The Gaza Strip / West bank should be an international zone, similar to the principle of 'international waters'.

Amazingly, Lady Rin quoted exactly what I said, but still failed to see the meaning of it. I didn't ask her how old she was, so you can all go to hell.
And question for you Lady Rin...what is the age difference between you and... 'Ranger'?
All she had to say was '17 years'. So, I resent every single one of you for your comments about my lacking in 'etiquette' and 'manners'. Read the words, people. And, 14 [when Rin started going out with Ranger] would have made him 31. Now, how strange is a 14 year old going out with a 31 year old sounding? Later on in life, that kind of age difference is acceptable, but I would feel disconcerted if I knew someone around my age who was dating somone more than twice hers. Oh, and to add something more to my first paragraph, I'm sooo scared of 'time-out', Ranger. -

Israelis are building this wall of there's over onto Palestinian territory. There are Palestinian villages inside the Israeli walls. Is it just me, or does this sound like a land-grab? Anyway, I'm going to give you the simplified verison of what I believe should happen. Like a Venn diagram, these two countries borders should overlap, they should have a Union on the Gaza strip. Ostensibly, the Israeli border starts 2 miles to the west of the western edge of the Gaza strip, and the Pakistani border starts 2 miles to the east of the eastern border of the Gaza strip. And the land in between is for anyoe. An international zone. Why is that so hard? Maybe they don't believe the same things about religion as you do, but they worship the same place. Isn't that enough to encourage friendship? Compromise is the key here.

I suggest a necklace with mistletoe on it. Sadly, the whole mistletoe thing isn't that big over here. It is a good idea though. Sneaky Gavinses.

Eating a fast-food meal once or twice a week is not going to kill you. Anyone could have told you that eating only fast-food is bad for you. Most people would have 21 meals a week, and 1 or 2 less-than-healthy meals are not going to kill you. If you eat mainly healthy, drink water, and exercise its not like you're going to die of heart complications at the tender age of 23. Someone who eats fast-food every day of the week is obviously both stupid and... stupid. This is like McLibel; overreaction. I'm not supporting the actions of various fast-food companies, but this "OMG thiz stuf iz s0 bad 4 u im gunna di coz i eat it 2 timez a week" is stupid. Common sense, people. Heard of it?

If their signature is too long, then the mods will PM a person, or you yourself could PM them and ask them to lower it. As for a 500x100 banner, that isn't a problem, even on dialup. I mean, how many people here would be working at much less than 48.0kbps? 2? Maybe 3? And that would be both unfortunate and temporary [one would hope]. Now, how many people here are on dialup? We'll be generous and say 70%. Which means, really, that banners and their sizes are not a problem, for most people. And text takes next to no time to load. I'm sure that most of the older members were newbies with massive signatures at one time or another. Let other people have the same liberty to grow and mature as well. I think that the limits are already well-enforced.

idiotic things that people say about relationships
Baron Samedi replied to foreverinfinity's topic in General Discussion

I don't think that being interested in other people if you're in a relationship is a crime....as long as you don't do anything, and don't plan on doing anything.
That includes flirting. When I have a girlfriend, I don't flirt. I'm not some cheating 'playa'. If you're in a relationship with someone, you shouldn't be making moves on anyone else, no matter whether you happen to still like several other people. -
Celebrations at the annual Rock-Fest this year have been marred, after a tragic incident involving Mario and a five pointed star. Officials claim that Mario is in a 'stable condition' and refute claims that Nintendo is making mascot offers to Crash Bandicoot in case the worst comes to the worst.

When you average things out, especially with such broad differences [i.e. a population of zero, or four billion] then the results will go astray. But, if you are going to average things out, you need to accept that these other people actually exist, don't you? Thats why this philosophy [based on your post] is completely irrelevant. As would be plainly obvious using a pass from Grade 5 maths. Also, as has been mentioned, if there are infinite planets, it doesn't matter that only some can support life, because it has to be an infinite number. You can't have a portion of infinity. And as has also been said, this guy was an entertainer. Thats obvious by how fast we can pull apart this 'Theory'. The guy was joking.

idiotic things that people say about relationships
Baron Samedi replied to foreverinfinity's topic in General Discussion
Aah, but my dear Cinnamon, I didn't say I'd go up to a girl and tell her I liked her...that would involve me having chosen and placed this girl on the top. I don't think that being interested in other people if you're in a relationship is a crime....as long as you don't do anything, and don't plan on doing anything. I think something like this could just be a difference between males and females...because most of the guys in this thread have agreed with me, but the girls seem to think that there is something wrong with it. I guess it's just one of those things ^_^
I think the most stupid thing I've ever heard somebody say about a relationship was when a cousin of mine was dumped by his girlfriend, she had been cheating and he caught her with the other guy. In the aftermath when I asked him how he felt his response was this "Never mind, if she was any worse in bed I've have slept with her sister more often[/I']".
o_O Geez. And question for you Lady Rin...what is the age difference between you and... 'Ranger'? -

Your friend's statement makes perfect sense. I like several girls, and can't choose between them....where is the difficulty in that statement? -
Thats the population average. The population average is virtually zero. But, the population on a specific planet [i.e Earth] would be greater than that. Don't you know anything about maths? Then again, what would I know. I'm not even real.

As has been said, it depends upon the tone with which the comment was made. Generally, racist comments are not vicious and are funny...and if I like it, I'll laugh. If it is vindictive, then I won't say anything. But, I have two words which describe racism: Outspoken Minority.

The New Formula For Getting Chicks!!!
Baron Samedi replied to Sauce-head's topic in General Discussion

We view them as lifemates, people, and more importantly, the FAIRER and STRONGER sex. Stronger? You think I'm nuts?
Thats crap man. I can guarantee you that most men do not view women as being fairer or stronger. It doesn't matter what the case may be, I can guarantee that most men still view themselves as stronger. And most of the rest of the rest [the rest of the rest are the best] view them as equals. As for the putting yourself first, I agree with that. But before you all get on your flaming horses, let me tell you this. My mother has been in three marriages, and she always puts her heart above her head, and them above her. And shes been hurt. Sometimes you have to look after yourself first. You don't look after yourself at the expense of your partner, but you make sure that you're not getting hurt. Is that difficult to understand? -
