1. There is an alternative, of course. In New Threads for the AL, why not have an 'Anime Selection' area. This would then be used in conjunction with a filter to display AL threads that have a particular anime selector activated. This way you can have lots of threads on individual animes, but at the same time, make it easy to find the anime you want.
 2.
Logic and chaos are not opposites. Chaos is very logical, it's just unpredictable.
Logical progression insists that what you just said is wrong. Predictability is logical progression, therefore, unpredictability is random and breaking logical progression. Chaos does not equal Logic.
Chaos and Entropy are laws just like any other physical law. They apply to everything, because they simply cannot be broken.
What about numbers? Numbers are both logical and progressive. They are not chaotic.
The focus of my argument is that nature operates within a set of rules that we may or may not know, and judging by how the environment is reacting to our actions, we're breaking some of them.
Nature is all about survival. Every animal/pack/person/group wants to survive, and more than that, excel. How are humans breaking this?
Also, I am thinking of the nature of man in general, and what would be the best system for men to coexist. I think that most 'modern' civilizations today are far from what an ideal society would be.
From an individuals viewpoint, the ideal system was one where he had all of his needs, and all of his desires met. From a groups viewpoint, they want the same thing. What is an ideal society? We are striving to meet our own groups needs and desires. Already.
If we can understand the nature of nature itself, it will help us to understand the nature of man. If we can understand the nature of man, we can begin to understand the ideal environment for man. This is the logic behind nomos vs. physis: the search for man's niche.
A lot of mankind is doing pretty damn well for itself, I'd say.
 3. I agree with that...but that saying is not exactly original. The phrase 'it takes a village to raise a child' is widespread. I don't see what your point is, if any.
 4.
Oh, we're there right now. The world has more than enough nuclear weapons to destroy the Earth, to blanket the sky with a nuclear winter, to kill off just about every single form of life on the planet. And yet, that's not happening, now is it? I'd say that's a pretty big sign of humans respecting the natural world, Adahn. After all, we haven't gone and reduced the world to an apple core, even though we're quite able to, if we put our minds to it.
What does this prove? Respecting the natural world, nothing, lol. I imagine it has more to do with self-preservation. Now, let me play devil's advocate, and argue both sides. Nature is chaotic: It is unpredictable. Volcanoes erupt, bush fires rage, creatures evolve. Species die out. It is chaotic. Civilisation is chaotic: We disrupt natural balances and alter the lay of the land. We expand without discipline. We are chaotic. Nature is logical: The strong survive, individuals want to survive. Everyone craves survival. Civilisation is logical: Humans have further uses than physical strength. We want our society to work well so that our chances of survival are higher. We are logical. People can cite examples all day. I don't know what you're aiming at Adahn.
Nothing can break the law of entropy. Everything always wants to settle into a lower form of energy.
Where is the chaos in predictability?
 5. Sadly, I do feel that this thread is underrating many men. It's not like every guy wants a skinny girl. But, generally, they're the outspoken minority; and thats why we have this problem. There is a difference between being fat, and being well-proportioned. And I think many girls [esp. insecure girls] do not recognise this. Different girls, of different weights can be attractive. Provided that they aren't overly fat, it [weight] doesn't bother me. Weight is such a small part in terms of attraction. And when you add any relationship or personality factor into the equation, the relevance fades even further. On a scale of 1 [skinny] to 10 [fat] I'd prefer anyone from 3-8. But, thats only in terms of weight. There is much more to a girl than that.
 6.
Mr. President I'll tell you for the last time, there are no Weapons of Mass Destruction here!! Yes yes I know you told the world there was, but sir I'm seriouse, theres no WMD's! No I'm not calling you a liar, but just give it up sir..." *2 hours later* Thats right Mr. President I said there are no weapons of mass destruction...Just call it Operation Iraqi Freedom? What about the Weapons of Mass Destruction? Yes I know there are no weapons of mass destruction, I just told you that."
*coughwaslame* *coughsorrylol* Hopefully we'll get a decently captionable picture this time.
 7. Look, I'm not stupid. How come these ads only occur when I'm on mO? And besides, I use Ad-Aware and AVG7.0 every day.
 8.
A thread was recently closed, though I can't seem to understand why.

I dare say that the argument was chasing it's own tail, and no longer serving any point.

Whenever someone made point, that point would be taken around in circles, at least four times!

That's all well and good, except that it doesn't address any of the questions I asked.
It doesn't?
It would help me to create, maintain, and reply to threads better if I knew what the moderators were looking for in a quality discussion, and what sort of characteristics would represent a topic lacking the necessary qualities (which are unknown to me).
Oh, you come off sounding so hurt. Shame I don't believe you. Basically this thread is you whinging about having a thread closed. Leastways thats how it sounds to me. Your thread had been going on for ages, and was not getting anywhere. It's like a thread about icecream. Its very nice, but ultimately, is arguing over the best flavour going to get you anywhere? No.
 9. It has happened on several members pages, and I think it might have happened one time when I went back into my backroom. It doesn't spawn at all the myOtaku pages I visit, just some of them. And it's not like these people are unknowns either. I got one on Mimmi's, I got one on Panda's, I think I got one on James'. It seems to be fairly random, but common. And it looks like this: [Note: this all happened when I went into my backroom, once.]
 10. I'll approach what you said with a healthy dose of amusement... Anyway, I don't anchor my beliefs on certain things, because I know that I'm not always right, and that sometimes people need to be able to admit that they're wrong and that certain issues should never be argued with certainty because, really, these issues are both complex and unfathomable.
 11. I must say I've never heard of it being done with a card, but I have heard that when groups of people do it together, they normally use a glass and everyone puts a finger on it. Evemntually [if the spirits are listening :p] it moves. I'd regard a lot of cases with cynicism, but I do think there is more than we're aware of 'out there'.
 12. I just thought I'd...tell you, that some of your ads on mO are starting to turn into popups, particularly from a screensaver advertisement. I found some Trojans [the, uuh, viruses >_>] on my computer last night, and I don't know if thats why it was there, but the ad does mention something about 'installation'. So, I wasn't aware whether or not Administration knew of this problem. Well, now you do, I guess, lol.
 13. I dare say that the argument was chasing it's own tail, and no longer serving any point. The same points were probably covered several times, and there looked to be no viable resolution to it. Thats my take on it, anyway.
 14. I can't complain. It's neat, decent quality, and has an awesome font. There isn't anything that...doesn't suit it, or needs criticising. Good job.
 15. Sure, you might be happy. But, that isn't what is concerning me. What is the point. If you're going to do nothing forever, you may as well not... exist, at all. Ok, so, you get one life to live. Do it well and you spend the rest of eternity in Heaven. I'm sure that people in Heaven see it as being great. But take a look at it from the other side of the Pearly Gates. What do you do in Heaven? Is there any point to existing in Heaven, is what I'm asking. Because you don't do anything. Heaven is sterile and unchanging. Earth is always changing, and I just think that 'recycling' souls back to Earth is a much better idea. But, thats just me :p And, I eagerly await your answer Ben.
 16.
If you were to look at the past 100 years of the Olympics, athletes are steadily growing stronger and faster through more rigorous training...
Don't forget improved steroid-production facilities ^_^ ... Oh, wait... >_> Anyway, I agree with Siren's analysis of those situations you use as examples. If you're life depended on flying that jet, faith would have SFA to do with it. In fact, all that would have to do with it is desperation. When driving, most people don't think they're going to crash. It's not faith: Its a curious mixture of hope and confidence. Faith is belief...and belief grants confidence and self-assurance, allowing you to be calmer and more practical, which is always useful. Most people will find that they can exceed their limits in times of duress or danger, but it doesn't have anything to do with faith, rather, it entails an individual's capability.
 17. Is there much of a difference between beating a chicken against a wall, and beating say...a puppy? Is there something slightly unhinged about beating a puppy against a wall? Read between the lines.
 18. I actually read about this a while ago. They say that High Intensity workouts two or three times a week are the best. Working until the point of muscle failure is the most effective way to build up muscle. Anyway, what I do, and have been for around 6 months, are situps and pushups. I do... around 150-200 situps a day, in 60 batches. 60-120 each morning, and around 120 each night. I do 20-11-11-18, with short rests in between. With pushups, I probably end up doing around 100 a day, but I only do 13 at a time. 5 widespread, 5 below shoulder, and 3 under chest. I also do maybe 20 stretches per arm with this "Figure-8-Expander" thing. Basically a tough rubber loop, which you hook under your foot and pull up with your arm. I also do a 5 minutes intense workout with 1kg weights. I just wish they were heavier, lol. Could anyone suggest other exercises, which don't involve equipment, that would supplement my sit-ups? I'd love to get a true six-pack. I have got a bit of one, but it's not... raw, unbridled strength yet ~_^ And always remember, you can only work as far as your genes. Some people will never be really really muscular. But, you can improve.
 19. What about delusional people, who have no room in their mind for doubt that they can fly/foolishness of your choice? I don't believe one has yet succeeded. Neo was in the Matrix: a program. And programs can be manipulated, and faith was a powerful manipulator. Also, the Matrix is just a movie, lol ~_^ Jesus was the son of God. As such, why would he have any reason to doubt his power? Buddha knew [or, rather, understood] the nature of things. At that stage, surprise in his abilities would not happen. It's like not being surprised that you can breathe without thinking about it: regular and unsurprising. I've always thought that having some form of ESP would be so awesome. Unfortunately, the closest I get is regular deja vu [which is, never the less, cool], but yeah. I think if someone managed to move something with their mind, they would be surprised, but I think the power resides more in absolute concentration and focus, rather than faith.
 20.
In Heaven, you have a consciousness of your surroundings. You know where you are, and you know why you're there. You're blessed with happiness and peace, and no pain of any type. You live out your days comfortably, not in some rat-race on a hamster wheel in the big Re-incarnation game of Life.
In other words, we spend the rest of eternity loafing around, and once more I ask you how is Heaven not redundant? It doesn't matter if you're having a blast, it doesn't matter if you are in communion with God. You're being redundant. It's like sitting on your *** eating icecream all day long. Sure, it might be fun, but its not exactly productive, or useful is it? i.e. It's as redundant as tits on a bull, lol. Surely actually...living, making some sort of difference, some sort of imprint upon the world is worth more than being in Heaven? Things progress in life. In Heaven, nothing progresses. Redundancy. Now, addressing another point: Why do we waste our time arguing about what will happen after we die? We can't know. Not until we die, at any rate. Would God turn a good person away from Heaven? If so, He is a cruel god. So, why the need to 'believe' in him, as long as you live a good life?
 21. I always want to open attatchments in a new window. If I'm browsing a thread, and want to check out their homepage, previous posts, PM them etc. I'll often want to remain in the same thread. I don't see why a new window would only be enabled for their profile, and really, it is something easy and simple that will just add another good touch to the boards. Right-clicking isn't exactly hard, sure, but it just makes sense.
 22. Kinetic is back o_O Hurray :p Anyway, this piece is nice, and the colour scheme idyllic. However, I wish you'd continued the techy theme prevalent in the centre, throughout the whole piece. The centre is a rush of fire, it is stimulating and exciting. But, the rest of it feels vague and un-oriented. It doesn't mesh well. The centre brings warmth and vibrancy to the piece, but the rest of it just meanders off...you really needed to keep up the pace in this piece- spread it throughout the whole image, not just one point. As for the font....well, zip it and attatch it for me, please. It's legendary.
 23. Whats wrong with that? It's a great banner. The nice colours, the font...even the size suits it perfectly. And, as I said, I'll send screenshots to you tonight, if I can, and show you where to do stuff.
 24. No mum, no dirty foreign prostitutes. ... No mum, I won't forget. ... Yes mum, I know warts are unappealing. ... MUM!! Did you have to tell me that! ... Sorry mum.
 25. Your idea has merit Adahn; Go pee yourself. What is practical about going to Heaven? How is this not redundant? You don't need to be aware of re-incarnation to have a chance of getting your life 'right' [according to Adahn]. Just imagine that there is a room full of monkeys [lol]. These monkeys will die and be re-born until they do whatever it is to remove them from the cycle. It's bound to happen eventually, right?
