1. Holy hell people. Once again I must re-iterate my point, is this fail-to-read-correctly week? He never once in any way, shape or form implies that being bisexual is a sluttish trait, nor that 50 Cent listeners are sluts. Never. If you take the time to read the actual words, you'd find that to be so. Obviously, unless you're just in it for sex [which at 14, ya really shouldn't be], the fact that she may have multiple partners [or at the least is very flirtatious] is obviously a bad thing, and you should dump her. It comes down to what values you have and what kind of treatment you can live with.
 2.
US actor Christopher Reeve, the star of the Superman movies who was paralysed from the neck down by a near-fatal riding accident nine years ago has died of heart failure, his publicist said. He was 52. Reeve, who became an advocate for spinal cord research after the accident in 1995, fell into a coma on Saturday after going into cardiac arrest while at his New York home and died on Sunday, publicist Wesley Combs told The Associated Press from Washington, DC. Reeve was being treated at Northern Westchester Hospital for a pressure wound that he developed, a common complication for people with paralysis. In the past week, the wound had become severely infected, resulting in a serious systemic infection. "On behalf of my entire family, I want to thank Northern Westchester Hospital for the excellent care they provided to my husband," Dana Reeve, his widow, said in a statement. "I also want to thank his personal staff of nurses and aides, as well as the millions of fans from around the world who have supported and loved my husband over the years." Reeve broke his neck in May 1995 when he was thrown from his horse during an equestrian competition in Culpeper, Virginia. Enduring months of therapy to allow him to breathe for longer and longer periods without a respirator, Reeve emerged to lobby the US Congress for better insurance protection against catastrophic injury and to move an Academy Award audience to tears with a call for more films about social issues. He returned to directing, and even returned to acting in a 1998 production of Rear Window, a modern update of the Hitchcock thriller about a man in a wheelchair who becomes convinced a neighbour has been murdered. Reeve won a Screen Actors Guild award for best actor in a television movie or mini-series. "I was worried that only acting with my voice and my face, I might not be able to communicate effectively enough to tell the story," Reeve said. "But I was surprised to find that if I really concentrated, and just let the thoughts happen, that they would read on my face. With so many close-ups, I knew that my every thought would count." In his public appearances, he was as handsome as ever, his blue eyes bright and his voice clear. "Hollywood needs to do more," he said in the March 1996 Oscar awards appearance.
I read about this already, and thought it was very sad =/
 3. Here is mine. I'm not at home, so this is just another one I have...
 4. Well, Garelock, I'm not an American, so I'm probably not good enough to be able to combat your 'eXtR3m3' argument skills. But, hey, I'll have a look at some things you said.
He DID NOT have to send the troops to Iraq nor did he have to send ANY troops over to any place.
Oh, I guess not. I guess that the only reason he attacked Iraq was for it's oil. And because his daddy got kicked out when he wimped out on the Gulf War. Isn't this sounding a tad old? It could be true. But how would you know? Isn't it more likely that information was false? Or the fact that Saddam was a ruthless despot? Or...well, I could go on. But,of course, I don't know what I am talking about.
HE'S THE DAMN COMMANDER IN CHIEF! If you can't understand that then you got some serious mental problems and I don't mean the minor types. If anything goes wrong wtih a nation it is ALWAYS the leader's fault. A leader TAKES THE BLAME FOR THINGS LIKE THAT! It's the way things have been since the first dang American president so I don't see why people get so shocked when Bush gets blamed for everything. No matter what the problem is with America, IT'S HIS FAULT.
Always the leader's fault? What if the leader's eyes and ears are wrong. What if he misjudges. Can you really say that all of the blame lies at his feet? Maybe the leader takes the blame for it, but doubtless you'll find many examples where it was unjustified. That means it's bad and wrong. And I don't know for sure, but doesn't a fair amount of what he does have to go through Congress and/or advisors? One man can not be personally responsible for running a whole country, and if Bush is as dumb as you say he is, then surely he can't be in control on his own. Making it not his fault? Yes? No?
We are indeed the most hated country in the world and it's all Bush's fault. 9/11 didn't make us the most hated, our international ties didn't make us the most hated, hell, even the Clinton and Monica scandal didn't make us the most hated. What made most countries in the world despise us so? Well, it's Bush. His whole make-up is what pisses people off. You have to admit that all these other countries can't be wrong. Now, when you got one or two countries criticizing you, well, that's not bad but when you got half the world saying they hate you and even your allies hating, well, it's tough to argue that something isn't wrong with that picture.
The war on iraq certainly didn't help, and has bought anti-US sentiments to the front. They have been there for a while. Lots of people think Americans are arrogant and rude. That is the...strereotype for Americans. What would you rather Bush have done about September 11 and terrorist threats? Nothing?
The reason why Kerry wants to send more troops over to Iraq is so that he can get this stupid war over with and get our people out of there faster. With the current head count of American troops we have in Iraq now isn't exactly enough to end this fast, quick and in a hurry. With the increasing amount of deaths in Iraq, more troops are needed to finish off the remaining resistance.
Sending more people over there isn't necessarily a good idea. It's not the size but how you use it, remember ;)
I got reasons to dislike Bush for this war. He's telling me that I should be against terrorism and stuff, well, I'm more against America. Al Queda didn't enslave my people for almost 300 plus years, Al Queda didn't sick dogs and spray water hoses on my people for trying to vote, Al Queda didn't hang my people for trying to read a book, Al Queda didn't shoot at my people for trying to go to the same schools as whites did, no, American citizens did that.
But they're not doing it any more are they? In the Medieval ages if someone didn't like you, they could kill you. Stalin did that to people. Saddam did that to people. If racism had been an issue in the Middle East, then that kind of persecution wouild probably still be taking place. Execution via extensive legal measures as penalty for crimes is incomparable to what went on in Iraq. Don't try to compare it. Bush didn't personally have these people sentenced to death. If you knew anything about him, then you might realise that comparing Hitler and Bush on that basis is presumptuous and flawed.
Some people say that Bush cares about America. Well, as his actions in 9/11 goes to show people, he doesn't give a hill of beans about America. Now, most leaders would be on the ground leading their people and advising the armed forces in such a situation. Now, where was our "fearless" commander-in-chief? High in the sky aboard Airforce 1...riiight...some leader...I bet if a mouse came into the White House and had a bomb strapped to it he'd get loaded on that plane and they'd fly to the nearest safe house as possible. Meanwhile, the American people are on the ground getting bombed and killed.
If Bush had been killed as well, would that have served any purpose? As Commander In Chief, his role is to lead, right. To be there for his country. As you seem so keen to point out. If he is spread over 50sqm then he doesn't have much hope of that. This isn't a bloody fantasy story. Airforce 1 is mobile, safe, and a hub for information from all over the world. What better place to lead his people from?
Bush justifies what our allies do. Correction, what the allies who support us do. Let me give you a prime example. Israel attacked a guy in a wheel chair. Now, when you wake up in the morning, the last thing you want to open your window to see is an Apache helicopter with missiles ready to be launched at you. The guy was in a freaking wheelchair and was PARALYZED from the WAIST DOWN! They launched two Amran missiles at him and blowed him to smitherines! Bush doesn't do a SINGLE thing to stop actions like that but he has room to criticize Saddam and Osama. If blasting a guy in a wheelchair isn't a terrorist attack then what the hell is?! As a matter of fact, Bush even JUSTIFIED that attack. Yeah, who wouldn't vote for this guy?
Were you there? have you ever been hunkered down in a war-shelter, crapping yourself? No...neither have I. I imagine it'd be scary. **** happens in war. Stuff like that is wrong, but there is just about always a valid explanation for things like that. if there isn't, then they shouldn't have been defended- I agree with you there.
The Iraquis don't want us in their country. Well, common sense tells you that if there's STILL RESISTANCE there. I mean, take it from my brother who's currently serving in the military. He personally said that when he talked to the Iraqis that they didn't want us in their country and they wished that we would leave. If someone came to your country and tortured your people as those American soldiers did, well, would you want them in your country? American troops have a history with doing that. It's one of the reasons why Japan hates us so much. We have troops still stationed in Japan but the Japanese have openly expressed and laid down a record that they don't want us in their country. Not after certain American troops were caught raping little Japanese girls and using them for sex slaves and of such. That's a known fact, I don't even have to offer proof...
Well, that all depends on which news reports you listen to. Common-sense suggests that most people would rather be living free than in constant terror for their lives. It isn't much better, but it is better and will get even more better the nearer it draws to a conclusion. As for japan...well, I don't know why that is. But...what are the odds that some japanese man 'hired' them out to the soldiers? It is wrong that the girls were raped, but how can you blame that on Bush?
 5. Geez. Talk about conspiracy-corner. Some of you people are...but I won't get into that, lol. If there are private things you'd rather not have your parents read, then there is no problem in locking it. You're not hurting anyone. I mean, it's practically keeping it all in your head, isn't it? But a written record of all that. I'd do it. There isn't really anything wrong with it. And I am not really sure why you'd think there could be.
 6. Completely removing all your forces from Iraq at this stage in the game would be the worst thing you could do. You think that Iraq'll just sort itself out? I don't. Progress is being made. Slowly. But you need time and patience. And an army.
 7. Fair enough. I mean, the extra effort is unnecessary for what is already a good site. With the art though, if you were going to do the pop-up thing, then it would be worth your while to do that. I mean, if it is too big for a screen, then just have the scroll bars appearing too. Sorry for my lack of technical know how, but that's just what I think. I don't know the limitations, though I imagine something like that could be done, it'd just be difficult.
 8. What is this, fail-to-read-correctly week? He never says "Hey, she's one of them bisexual sluts" Or "my girlfriend is a slutty bisexual". He says that she is a slut, and later mentions that she is bisexual. It's English, everyone! Now, my advice for you. If you don't want to be 'done' then dump her. If you want to be 'done' but don't wanna feel like some tag-along shadow, dump her. If you want someone better than that, dump her. If you want to get 'done' and don't care about what she does, don't dump her. Easy enough.
 9. Most annoying song is the jingle for Ajax spray and fricking wipe. Grrr. When I was younger and it was on often, I can remember hours lying awake, unable to sleep because of the bloody jingle. I hate that ad.
 10. I can see that. But, if your parents warn you not to do something and punish you when you do it...well, that's what happens. Sometimes you gotta have willpower. I don't mean to bag you Serapph Angel. I do think your parents are being unfair. If they were seriously considering boarding school and sending you away, only because of that...then there is something wrong. But really, things get said in the heat of the moment, and only people with perfect lives would not have experienced that. You've been punished for breaking the rules. Thats what happens [unless you're really sneaky...lol]
 11.
I think that this game is influencing you to lie and cheat with us and we are making you stop playing it.
All I said was that it is causing you to lie and cheat. Thats all I said. And it is. Your limits are ludicrous. But, hey **** happens. Rather than cheating, try to explain. Or just put-up. I don't know. In the end, your parents are your 'masters' and can do what they want, to a degree.
 12. This is a great idea. Descriptions and Characters'd be great, and an idea of whether or not you consider them still viable [in terms of finishing them off...]
 13. No offence intended...but some of you sound like try-hards. To be honest. I like lots of bands. From rock, metal, rap, techno, pop. You declare yourself punk. You hate Avril Lavigne. If everyone hates Avril...well, it's lame. She doesn't make that bad music. Neither does Brittney Spears. [Well, it depends on the song...] So, stop being try hards. I can understand not liking some songs, but out-ofhand dismissals are weak and pathetic. Base your judgement on each individual song. Or keep your mouth shut.
 14. I agree with that James. I was just saying that lying and deception comes into it very quickly. I doubt they were seriously considering that level of punishment though.
 15. Very nice. From what I can see, some more [lighting] detail around the head-part would be appropriate...but aside from that, this looks good. Also, maybe a more claw like 'foot' would be closer to the image on the card. Nice work Turkey!
 16. I like this. it is...smooth. In regard to the colours, I like them. Theyb are unique and give your site a...creamier feel if you will. It comes off as something a bit more refined than normal- which is good. One thing though: You only use that metallic gold sheened colour on your Hub. I love it, and suggest that you spread it around a bit more...it'll also help tie in each individual section. Also, in regards to your art centre, I'd suggest something a bit...cooler. When you click on the bubble that is. For example, the thumbnail growing out to a full sized image [blotting out the rest of the page] would be much cooler. IMO, anyway. I don't like how the completely new [and un-tied in] page pops up with the picture on it. Not so cool there. Same thing with the links to articles. Rather than a new one, I'd like some kind of expanding thing over the main page. But these are just my suggestions.
 17. The worst pain I've experienced was coming off a skateboard going down hill, and sliding about 5 metres on my stomach. Ripped up a bit for sure. Not even any scars now though. I am soooo tame.
 18.
Maybe before being paroled their legs can be smashed with a lead pipe and then stuck in a wheel chair...not that that would help much, but it's worth a try.
You have a charm all of your own, dear Chibi. As for race and econiomic status...you may well find that disadvantaged minorities are more likely to commit first-class offences. It is plausible, and has solid enough reasoning behind it. I don't think the death penalty is a good thing however. Permanent life in jail, with solitary confinement, is how to break the bastards.
 19.
And about a week ago, I was caught on the computer, playing the game when I wasnt supposed to, because I wasnt supposed to be playing during the week.

You already broke 'house rules' by playing it when you weren't supposed to. You would have done it again, and if you weren't caught, you would have denied it.

The idea that you can take a kid playing a violent game and then make the leap from that to cheating, lying and so on, is quite remarkable to me. Not only is there no reason to actually come to that conclusion, but that is also a massive insult to Serraph-Angel -- unless, of course, there are things in this situation that we don't know about.
Cheating and lying have just entered the field...
 20. I'm only 15, and I watch a fair bit of news ~_^ Anyway, three hostages were taken in Iraq about 3 weeks ago. The two Americans were beheaded very quickly, but they kept an Englishman [Ken Bigley] alive for the last 3 weeks, and only executed him today. That's what happened. It is a shame. The poor guy...no-one can know what he was going through. But at least it's over for him.
 21. I know all about unreasonable parents. Anyway, if you are addicted to the game, ease up on it a bit. Get outside, play some sport. If you develop a varied lifestyle, with time for everything, then your parents shouldn't worry so much. Could a game make you behave differently? Yes. You already broke 'house rules' by playing it when you weren't supposed to. You would have done it again, and if you weren't caught, you would have denied it. Which is why addictions are bad. But, unless you are really hopeless and unbalanced [lol] then there is probably no chance of you going Columbine on your folks. And tell them that.
 22. The problem is that 'baddies' may slip through the psychologist's net. Really, this thread is talking about Parole for violent criminals. People who committed multiple murders or rapes, had a pre-meditated murder etc. It is these kinds of people who I believe should recieve life without parole. I wasn't necessarily refrring to the case that I quoted. That was just what sparked me off for this thread. But this guy did plan to murder someone. Obviously he had a reason for it, it isn't like he is a rampaging maniac. By the same measure though, if you plan to murder someone, you have to have a few screws loose. And we really don't need that.
 23. I actually heard about that case. There was another case, where a Kalgoorlie [I'm from Australia ~_^] man had had his business broken into 3 nights in a row [I think]. Regardless, it was a lot of times. So, he slept there with his shotgun one night, and when the vandals broke in, he shot one of them in the arse with his gun. And then they wanted to sue him and accused him of being racist! It is no wonder that the Statue of Justice has a blindfold on...it can't tell between victims and felons. In another similar case, a man was going to be sued for putting up a pepper spray alarm system in his store. Another man was charged because he set man traps on his property. On his own property. If you stepped on the bloody things, you'd probably be in the wrong place anyway. As you might be able to tell, crime is a hot subject with me. Or rather, the lack of support and protection granted to the true victims.
 24. You know I love your banners [or most of them >_>] James. Elle Driver: I think that you definitely made the right choice when you were deciding which banners to actually put in your signature. I find Elle #2 to be rather...well, not good. I think that it is too short and...yeah. It just doesn't appeal. What I do like about it though, is the cross transforming into the J. That is cool. Volume #2: Volume 2, #2 is...bleh. I hate that flashing quality it has. It jars my eyes arrggh! o_O lol. I can see why you wouldn't [couldn't...] just have the car coming over the hill, but having that tiny little clip after that... I really don't like that one. On a more positive side, I really like Volume 2, #1. I love the Kill Bill logo, and although it has that annoying 'jump back' look, it is better than #2. As for Volume 2, #3, what can I say? Much better, and very impressive. But I wouldn't have known what she was saying if 'Galxy Girl' hadn't spilled the beans ~_^ I, Robot: I don't really like the artwork you used, and I think that the circle could have been...expanded some more [a tad jumpy at parts], but I really like what you have done with it [the circle]. The Bride Volume 1: What can I say? This is one of my favourites [second always to that old one of the bullet firing ~_^] Vernita Green: I can kinda see what Mimmi is saying...but, conversely, I feel that both of the animations are very fast-paced, and that it works well. I think that the movie animation feels a little...small though. A 50/50 split would have done it more justice. Nice border there too. The Bride Volume 2: The last one is pretty damn cool too. I love that clip of the axe spinning past. One thing I would suggest is that the little J on the left you slide across and grow to become the big J on the right. Just a suggestion. Overall very cool, especially with your signature 'J' marking the way.
 25. I'd suggest you get yourself some new friends, or find a way to deflect this...unwanted attention. You gotta learn to blend in, otherwise you'll keep copping **** from them. Oh, and also...
they always win because they r always right
If they're always right, what's the problem ;)
