1. I live in Western Australia, in a small town. Smallish anyway. I am in Yr 10 and...there isn't much else to say. Or that I'm willing to say, anyway.
2. Name: Jules Hammerson. Age: 39 Gender:Male Appearance: A mildly intimidating man, he has a shock of dark black hair, receding into a widows peak. It is short cut, with flecks of grey already forming. He is muscled, and wears a plain iron collar around his neck. He commonly wears a brown, open necked shirt, and black pants, with loafers. He is a fervent supporter of [The Priest], and follows him 'whe'er he may wander', through the dark streets of an English town, to the rocky crags of the Urals. He is essentially the management of the pairing, organising trips, equipment and providing the muscle to get them through it all. Religion: Open-minded. Occupation: Guide and companion to The Priest. Biography: His life up to meeting The Priest is unimportant, though he was at various times a body-builder, personal trainer and forest guide. He was taken in during the night at a remote convent. In fact, it was the Plausible Mark of Faith, located in the dense Canadian forests. What was Jules doing there? Nobody knows. They took him in, and prepared him for his future life... erasing everything about his history from his mind, leaving him only his knowledge and capabilities. He was assigned to The Priest, to protect and aid him. __________________ Hope that this is Ok ,Annie dearest.
3. People are afraid to die, because they don't know what comes after death, and they believe that they still deserve to live, and want to live. Thats all there is to it.
4. Nice guys always seem to get left behind. Believe me, I know. But, nice guys can get ahead too. You are a lot closer to more people than you realise..but what you have to do now is go for what you want. Go for it. It isn't the most helpful advice...but what I am trying to say, is that you can be a nice-guy but go for your own goals too.
5.
...attitude towards sex is that's it's not any better than riding a bike.
Funny that you should phrase it so...considering lots of sex is...riding a...bike. >_>
6.
At the same time I can't imagine being attracted to someone who was really ugly but somehow managed a great rack.
Ditto. I mean...if there is an element of attraction, it doesn't matter. I'd prefer....some obviously, but at the same time, I'm turned off by watermelons. If a girl had the perfect figure, I'm talking Aphrodite here, but had an ugly face. Well, there is no attraction. I'd much rather go for a medium body with a face that I like. Breasts are not that important. I think Dragon Warrior's comment sums it all up.
[spoiler']Ya just need a handful, as I always say. Hey hey! :P

7.
Very well, but why is that whole post linked to your myO account?
How'd that get there o_O ... >_>
8.
Happy One Year OB Anniversary, Baron :p
Thanks Shinmaru, lol. Yes, TehSillyCircus was another memorable chat. In fact there have been quite a few of them hasn't there? They nearly always dissolve into some kind of spamfest, civil war, or hormone pool, but they're enjoyable, and good for quotes.
Well, you know, admired in a professional sense. I'm a guy, so don't think I've ever had...like...an attraction to you. Yep. No secret admiring here. Uh uh. *clears throat* Lol. But yeah, you were one of the few posters I really got a kick out of reading. But I think when I first saw you, there was some kinda Hagar the Horrible motif goin' on...the new one's definately cool.
o_O. Yes, there was a whole Hagar the horrble thing. For a long time mO was Hagar themed too. Hagar is cool. I moved past that, but Hagar still rocks. I do believe he is my profile picture... Anyway, this just shows how much things affect people on OB, I suppose.
9. I don't like not being able to breathe. Like being dunked or whatever. When you go to take a breath, but can't...that's not fun. I'm not too worried by the dark...slightly offput, but thats about it. I can't think of much that I am really afraid of. I think I am probably more afraid of spiders than anything else.
10. It's all genetic. :p I just wanted to say that. No-one here even has to listen to my opinions. But, the question at hand is not is sex enjoyable, did God make it so, are prostitutes acceptable. All good questions, but the main point is "Why do people have sex?". And so much too! It seems enjoyable. It is kind of an 'elitist' group. Society throws it at us. Peer pressure. Love for another. Mindless hormones. There are dangers...but if people had the nth degree of common sense, they'd understand, and take precautions against this. Personally, everyone else can have as much rabid sex in the corridors as they want [provided it is consentual ~_^], but I'll have sex when I'm ready to, and with someone I have more than dick-feelings for.
11. I've been here for over a year. I think I actually missed my 1 Year Anniversary o_O. Anyway, I came here first in... 01? Maybe even 00, because I was 75% pokemon fan. I was here for a while, kicking around and posting. At this stage I didn't actually have a home PC, and over the school holidays I kinda lost contact with it. So, then in May or March of 03, I'm swinging around in my chair and I think- what should I do? And I think of OB. And so I came back, with a different username and went on from there. I was pretty hardcore for months and months, coming on everyday, as much as I could. Over the last month or two, my....urgency to visit has calmed. And that is my story. My first forum here was //hack because it sounded interesting. After a humber of incredibly...spammy posts, I fuigured iout what was up. And I went to the Lounge, which became my domain for a fair few montghs. i then moved to the Art Forum, and became, what I thought of as, an Art Critique. I then moved to Adventure where the legendary RPG [thread=34376]Black Horizon[/thread] was run. Man, I believe that that was one of the best RPGs. I don't know about many others...but I'd put it in the Top 10, for sure. Another contender is [thread=28412]Body Language[/thread]. They were good times. The 24 Hour chat was another good one. An AIM chat that was up and running for over 24 hours, despite how low quality it got :p. Annie leaving was kinda big, but apparently not as big as Ginnylyn leaving. Kill Adam came, revolutionised the entire way we RPG, and left a while ago. KAV2 is now coming. Uum. Oh, there are heaps of things that make OB special. Down to PMs, chats, replies. Some legendary arguments. It's all good. You admired me Danethol? Well, that was pleasantly unexpected ^_^
12. Why do people drink Coke so much? Why are there 'popular' people? Why do people hope that there are aliens? Because it is a chance to belong to something greater. Poeple always want to be....to have something. Something special, and 'bigger' than they are. I guess that the... fact of having sex does that. Coupled with the fact that it is apparently wonderful, and some people think entirely with their dicks, you have one rabid sex culture. Doesn't help that at every turn sex is thrown in your face. Most people live for the moment and don't plan ahead. Their fault.
13. Say something along the lines of "You seem like an OK guy, but I'm not interested in any relationship much at the moment, and anyway, I don't see you as a boyfriend type person. Sorry, but that's it." And walk off. If he persists, threaten to tell other people.
14. This stuff is dynamic...it can change depending on the day, depending on the people. Caution is great, but sometimes hanging back leaves you behind. And you'll never win if you stay behind all of the time.
15. Name: Gary La Rue Sex: Male Age: 42 Biography: Gary's father was a poor French artist called Maximillion La Rue. He immigrated to America, and Key City after the Depression, when he saw it as a shining beacon of hope and wealth after the hard-hitting poverty of the previous decade. However, when he arrived, with nothing to his name except a black satchel carrying his stand, brushes and paint, he was dejected, and depressed with what he saw. He worked out on the land for sometime, picking for orchards and performing other duties, but always he ached to paint, and to draw. Eventually he had saved enough to be able to rent an apartment in Key City, for a few months. His time there was short, because although he visited every art-dealership in the city, none would take his work. In the middle of winter, he was 'ejected' from his apartment, and was discovered later that week by patrolling police-officers. He was dead in an alley, naked. One could say that Maximilion had not wasted his time though... in particular, his energy. He had frequented the "Borget on Trentley", an ex-hotel, which had been converted into a whore-house. His preferred partner was a woman called Honey Rider, or that was her pseudonym at least. She kept a record of who and when she slept with people... for she never knew her own father, and did not wish that for any child she may have 'acquired' to have the same suffering. So, this is how Gary became known as Gary La Rue. He was taught by Hans, the 'landlord' of the Borget about basic maths, english and history. This was a condition imposed by the prostitutes upon Hans- they would work for him, if he looked after them and their ilk. Gary was, for a time, the lead singerof a little-known band called 'The Platelets', who toured through some of the bars and other waterfront dives of Key City. They never made it anywhere. So, where is Gary now? He stacks shelves at a supermarket, during the night, and is a street cleaner during the day. This broken man has no hope for the future, but a will not to die. Personality: Gary has a quiet personality, but will not be pushed on certain issues. He can be stubborn, but flexible. Gary originally wanted something from life.... he still had the same pre-occupation and false beliefs of his unknown father, in that he saw the world as a beacon of hope. After the collapse of 'The Platelets' Gary became disheartened with 'it all', and now seeks just to survive. He has realised that there is something more important than getting ahead in life. And that is getting to the end of it. Profession: A street-sweeper by day, a supermarket drudge by night, Gary is the man behind the scenes. Appearance: Medium height, slightly muscled from heavy lifting and physical work. His has dark, tousled hair that is going grey on the sides...but raggedly, certainly not the distinguished look. He has sparsely stubbled cheeks, and commonly wears a plain white shirt, rolled up at the arms, with rough brown breeches. He also has an old tweed suit at his apartment which he shares with a druggie and a dole-bludger, but he wears that rarely. It is his 'best gear'.
16. Contrary to my own expectations, I am fitting right in. Everyone else is mowing their lawn too! I guess that Independence Day is a bigger deal for you guys though... not only was your country founded, but the end of a nasty war, and personal... fulfillment acquired.
17. If anyone is interested, I am doing homework, mowing the lawn, lighting the fire etc. Oh, wait I live in Australia. Enjoy your Independence Day. To be honest, it sounds a lot like Australia Day, which I guess it kind of is.
18. 5 star storyline Tony. Name: Braxton Squires Age: Early thirties. Sex: Male. Appearance: Medium height, average build. Fit from frequent hockey playing, and muscly from gym, but not overly so. More the subtle muscle. Lightly tanned skin tone, dark, unmanageable hair. Is wearing a pair of dark, loose-fitting jeans, a navy microfibre shirt, and joggers. Also wearing a black Quicksilver cap, Ripcurl watch, and small sterling silver necklace. Background: Born in Australia, was touring the States with his wife, when he woke up one morning...alone. It was after a night of camping, where they were camping with several other couples. Braxton has a fear of spiders, and is less than comfortable in the dark. Did martial arts for 2 years in his childhood, and was a Blue Belt Junior. Quit at the age of 14, remembers virtually nothing. Works as an architectural supervisor for H&B Johns, in Australia. Took his 10 year long service leave to travel America. Equipment: Has a wallet, with a chain. In the wallet is a few photos, a miniature screwdriver, and a few hairpins. Miscellaneous: Tends to get rather violent when pissed off. Stubborn. Enjoys just putting his head down and 'going for it'.
19. From what I know, some... sort of '3' may be in the wings...
20. What kind of idiot would use an anime image in his election campaign? I mean, really. Bad enough it is crappy, and copyrighted. But anime? Why that? Seems strange to me.
21. That sounds really excellent. I think all of those are great ideas. Can I ask one more thing though- that could [possibly] be applied to both OB and mO? Sometimes I don't visit this place all of the time- but I need to come here to read PMs. Could you have some system, wherebye, as it does for a reply to a subscribed thread, it emails you what they wrote to you, and provides a quick link to the 'Reply' page? That would be incredibly useful, I think. I don't have any complaints with any of the suggestions you put up there, and particularly like the section for 'Fields for: 'Currently Listening To', 'Mood' That'd be wonderful. Much thanks Justin.
22. Who is the media out for? Themselves. Who does the media aim for? The public. Therefore, who must have some interest in seeing this? The public. I have no doubt that these images are highly traumatic for the victim's families. I don't know the opinion of most other people, but if you don't have any connection to the person, then it is merely something interesting. Maybe thats not the right word, but the shock factor isn't as extreme. Indeed, in my own little corner of the world, not too many people even consider the War On Terror in their daily lives. Censorship is rampant now. I think those kind of images are perfectly acceptable. Be thankful you weren't able to see images of monks self-immolating during the Vietnam War.
23. I've had the 'Condom Truck' twice. A little series of dots and dashes that makes a picture of a truck, carrying condoms. Amazing. Needless to say, I closed the window.
24. People can grow on you or people can have instant attraction. You can probably not love someone at first sight, but you can grow to love someone. You'll know when you're in love. I could tell you all that crapola about "always looking for them", "special things for them", "your knees go weak", etc. But, you should already know it. And it isn't necessarily love either. I have never.... been in what I wold consider mature love. If you're in love, you'll know it. Easy as that.
25. Ok, hope that this is OK. Not one of my best pieces ever, but I am in a bit of a rush.
