Well, you are now. Does it really matter?

Well, ya see Sciros, in regard to the shallow-ness of it.... it is shallow. You do not see religions that spread the word that all people who aren't in their religion are useless bastards who should be burnt at the stake. Essentially, most religions emphasise compassion, and caring, and converting. Right? Most widespread ones, anyway. So, it is shallow to purposely have nothing to do with a person only because of religion. As a blanket rule, religions do not exist with their fundamental purposes at right angles to each other. They are vaguely heading in the same direction. It is shallow all the way through. And, White Akita, they made you write a report on your religion? You should be able to refuse to do that. Anyway, here is a virtual breakdown of a typical class. Of 30 students, 15 Good Christians hand in their report on Christianity. 10 students outline their report on the benefit of remaining neutral. 3 students write a flowery report on Buddhism, 1 students fails to hand theirs in, and 1 student is stuck with the 'Wiccan' stigma. Fairly accurate, ne?

Why would you want the same attatchment in several posts? May as well just link to it.

Well, of course you shouldn't lose friends over something like that. Then again, if you go around telling everyone about your wonderous belief system, people are bound to take a dislike to... you. If people were the kind who just held their tongue, this wouldn't happen. Fine, you are Voodoo/Wiccan/Jacobian. Or whatever. Don't broadcast it in your loudest voice, and nobody cares. If people shut you out because of it, they are shallow. People are like that... thats why prudence is the best weapon. What is there to say? Some people are zealous, and don't believe in other religions, or the humanity and worth of the people in other religions. That's their problem, it isn't going to go away. It is a shame, but just see your friend at school in that case.

Well, isn't that HOTpage fella a loser? Did I say that aloud? What kind of brainless person would say stuff like that. You don't even know them or what they have to do, and you sound like some stupid loser. So, back in your box.

Of course he's being sarcastic, geez. As for telling your folks... it depends how well you know them. Are your doubts based on anything solid? If they are, wait. Don't go to Prom, or go alone. Who says you need to tell them right now? If you are so worried about it, I doubt that you'll let it 'slip out'. Just be how you are. Not everybody is overly a perv/talks about girls all the time. You don't have to do anything about it, right now. Do you?

Unsurprising. He has been on Death's door for a few years now, pretty much. People get old and die. He was a great President sure. He had a dramatic affect on current world history [or his Administration did]. It is sad to see him go. What more is there to say? He is dead, pushing up daisies, etc. Respect his memory, but there isn't really anything to talk about.

In the spirit of my new mO layout, I am making a new banner. I will do an avatar later...but for now, here is my banner.

Perhaps the link colour would be better as the base colour for those "stone blocks" that are there? Or, some other navy type colour even. As for the fanlistings as a whole... it is pretty good. Obviously, it is designed to look that way graphically, after the game itself, so I think it is good. The blue for the text background I really don't like however.... a near black navy might go better, I am thinking. I know you wanted it to be similar to the 'void' in the game... but I really don't find it an appealing or matching colour, sorry. Nice work though Semjaza ^_^

In regard to the lavender color on mO... I don't feel that it is quite right. I can understand that you want some personality for the site, though I thought that the grey looked fine, but that really light purple seems not quite right to me. I think some other mellow colours, like the red featured on Sara's myotaku, or some type of mellowed green would be more...pleasing than lavender. Gold even, would be nice. Either that, or the option to perhaps alter the backroom colours to our tastes, though it seems unnecessary. I understand that there will always be people unhappy with schemes, but I really don't think that the lavender is the way to go. -Josh

The banner isn't too bad, and reminds me of mountains and waterfalls...but there is a problem with the left... 1/10 of it. It goes dark there, obviously where one of the blends has a darker part...and I personally don't like that bit. As for the Introduction piece...I generally like it. I think that the green could do with being darker... it feels a bit too 'lime' for the content, and some of the cropping [read: hair and outside right leg] could be improved. The actual image looks good though.... Why would something be 'staring Haze'? Do you stare at people? lol. It is 'starring'. :p Overall, not too bad, just a few bits I would personally change.

Well, this feels like an Introduction thread of sorts...which isn't allowed. So, Numero Uno would be to check out the rules/FAQ area. If you want to write up your own story, then check out the Literature forum. If you want to start an RPG, then head over to the Adventure arena and check out the Recruitment subsection...you'll figure it out soon enough- just read the rules and check a few threads. Welcome Aboard ^_^

Screw reading all of your replies... but here is my opinion. You can see a tit-for-tat mentality in here. I mean, really, the treatment of Iraqi prisoners was a thoroughly disgracing act of inhumane treatment. Imagine yourself, naked and beaten on a leash, having your picture taken of you. Or lying naked with a pile of other naked people, humiliated and degraded. Or being forced to masturbate for a camera. Imagine the shame. Is it fair what the Iraqi's did? No. Berg had nothing to do with the war... he was a bystander. Is it understandable? Yes. Is it to be expected? Yes. Is it all a part of this war that America wants so badly? Yes. Ultimately, the repsonsibility filters back...but there are often many sides and views to an event.

Algebra is easy. Personally, it would have been more productive if you had said why you found Algebra hard. Lame story. Algebra is supposed to be applicable to situations in life. Schoolwork is sometimes hard. Put up with it.

Excellent work Sennen. I really think it is something. The colour and variation of shade of the cloudy/smoggy background gives this banner a really...violent feel to it. It oozes with threatening vibes, like a storm gathering. For me it has the vague hint of being on the ocean's edge..it looks vaguely like you can see an island and some ocean [bottom left hand]. It is the same sort of colour as the day seems to get when a heavy storm is approaching....and it seriously rocks. One thing about the banner that I am not too sure about is the text. Maybe you could have tried the other GF Ordner font, instead [It is GF Ordner, isn't it?]. I just think that the black squares don't look so good. As James said, maybe no text would have been better. It isn't a majorly bad thing though. The avatar...hrrrmm. Not my favourite. I think that a cutout of some smog and the secondary stack would have looked a lot better. I think you faded the Nuclear symbol a bit too much, and that the plain lined texture overlay isn't exactly right for the feeling. Something a bit more random would have been good, I think. However, this is a very very nice combination. Banner: 9/10 Avatar: 7.5/10

Well, I have had three rats, all caramel hooded. The first was called Caramel, shortened to Carrie. Second is called Ivy, kind of like Ivory but not. The third is called Button, because she is cute as a button. I can't choose a name for your rats. Only you can. Choose something that is quirky, or original and that you like. How about...Madonna? Mads for short.

I don't think I could be as indepth as Anime_fangurl [surprisingly well written considering her signi...err,signature ;)], but I do love this. I feel that the background is a bit...icky. However, upon reading your reasoning for it...it fits. It makes sense. It is a harsh departure from the original art I have seen for KBv1. I have yet to see the movies, but this is a big shock... and yet it works. I love the typography of Kill Bill Volume Two, which is especially snazzy and neat. Neato, even. As for "The **nd RPG by Jeh" well, it doesn't work. Not for me, anwyay. For one, the only way it could be "nd" is if it was the second. Secondly, I feel something like an inksplash or blood dripping over the number, just leaving "th" there would have been much more classier and better fitting. It just screams to me of...shoddy. Sorry James, I just don't like the wording of it. As for the silhouettes...well, I don't know. If they aren't necessarily from the Kill Bill movie, then I would have to say that the orange one is that guy from True Crime Streets of LA. Which I have also never played. Aside from that I have no idea though. Overall, this feels very neat and very...tight. It works...all except the "**nd" part.

Am I cool? Ask someone else. Am I popular? Reasonably so, I think. Ancient Romans viewed themselves through others eyes. Your own opnion of yourself is influenced greatly by how others see you. I'd say not much has changed. I used to be...fairly unpopular, and a loner and...just there. Now, I have made an effort, and I am liked if not loved ~_^. I'm not rich, not incredibly cool or fashion-oriented. But if you just...participate and be open with people [to an extent] then you can have more friends and...whatever. I am rambling. I don't know if people consider me cool, but I would say I am reasonably well liked.

Nathan was standing under the steady, hot flow of recycled water coming out of the showerhead in his cabin. His teeth ground in his head, as he concentrated all of his energy on one thing. Adam. What was up with that? Something was going down, surely. Adam was... either socially inept, or something was already wrong. Wrong, wrong, that is. And the brains...not otherwise disgusting, but the whole...remoteness and coldness of it. Nathan had done some horrible things in the name of money, but the... Yech. Nathan turned off the water, and stepped out of the shower cubicle, taking a moment to bask under the heating system. Towelling himself off, Nathan put his clothes back on, and exited the room, locking the door securely. He trudged around the hallways, trying to memorise the location of every room without the use of maps. If something happened...well, instinct was going to be the most important part.

Is the time you spend with her worth the time that you're apart? Do you want to stay with her, or do you think you should? You have to look after yourself, first and foremost. Don't be an insufferable prig, don't be rude. But in a relationship you need to know that you want to, and can make it work. I have been in...well, practically the same situtation that you now find yourself in. I had to break it off. We were both thinking the same thing though...so, it was clean. However, at a young age, the chance of you marrying her is pretty low. So, you have to think, is it in anyones best interests to continue the relationship?

Never thought it would happen in your neighborhood.

There have been cases were people have been sued for assault or other such charges in self defense. You can not disable or in any way harm a person. Even if they are in your own house. You will get into trouble most of the time. The world is screwed. When you can not defend yourself, your family and your property from violent incursions without the threat of later repurcussions hanging over your head, you know there is something wrong. -
For something that has come into contact of any form with MS Paint, this has turned out surprisingly well. The font borders get a bit jagged over lighter parts, but the layout of the first one is very nice. I don't like the hair on the second one. It looks pretty...well, pretty odd. And not very good. Nice layout [Bit too much black] but yeah. Overall, I'd say that whilst your layouts and ideas are good, quality could be improved somewhat. About 6.5/10. Considering you used MS Paint though, these are wonderful feats. Good work. In the future, maybe try designing them entirely in Gimp?

That's a cute poem, but could I ask what exactly it is? What is Oosh?

Well, seeing as you typed that in English, I'd say you know the English language. Now, people may get banned for producing impossible to decipher, off topic, stupid, mindless, bash the general area of the letters posts. But, if you try to keep your posts as neat and correct as possible, as on topic and intelligent as possible, and as grammatically and properly accurate as possible, then we should have no problem. You aren't booted for poor grammar or bad spelling. Uness you're really, really atrocious.
