1. Asphy..... I loved yours. That was so well done, really clever. I like how you took a lateral approach to the idea. Deedlit, yours was good, very descriptive, but Asphy's seemed to be better because she had a more novel way of going about her presentation. Congrats.
2. Yeh, I know. Heh. I was just saying that was what it looked like. Thats why I called it a moustache looking bit. Heh. It just looked strange out there on its own.
3. UUh. With some languages you can pick up the gist of it. Now, English and Japanese are totally incompatible. So therefore, you go there and wonder around stupidly, wandering what the **** the people are saying. So, it is a terrible idea to go there with no idea at all. Have a basic groundng in it, but most of them speak rudimentary English anyway. It's not like you are going to be telling them how to perform a frontal lobotomy, so it shouldn't be too difficult to tget the message across.

Damn, I am too late. It is already full of spam. I am reporting it. Again.
5. I would have to agree with wristcutter. What a deliciously spammerlicious thread. *gives wristcutter spammalicious cheese*
6. The unedited Geisha banner was good, but the edited one looks better, aside from where one image is blurred onto the other, on the last one, and it goes onto her face. It is OK, 8/10. I dislike your second banner, it is too pixelated for me, and I just don't like the actual picture. 6/10
7.
Originally posted by Fate Lawl. Undies in a vending machine? That's pure economic genius. What if someone forgot to put underwear on? I'd sure like to live in a place where I know there's backup. It's all about the people.
Do you get it? It is just strange. Or, as SadClown said- maybe they didn't fprget them, maybe someone took them. It is just creepy and weird. If you think that is normal.... well. Yeh.
8. Good job. It looks good. The animation, while short is well done and smooth, and it looks good. Nice and smooth, while slightly blurry, which is expected, it is good. *claps* 7.5/10
9. Uuh. Yeh. Sorry Sara, that was quite a rude way for me to put it. But then again, it depends what kind of tone you use for it. I would use a m ore questiong tone- this makes it more casual. Not in an accusingmanner, but a questioning manner. Maybe thats just how I am with my teachers. I'm not rude though, don't worry ~_^
10. I made this thread a few months ago. But if you want to change your name to a name that has been taken and never posted in, just PM James or Charles as they said. Oh, and the reason why wristcutter is still here? I take this as a quote from someone, you hear? 'Because he is so damn shexy'. See? ~_^ He is the Bastion of Otaku.
11. Yeh Mitch. You thought he was asking if you got it from somewhere, he was asking where you got it from. Difference. ***EDIT*** Sorry Mitch, you snuck in there ahead of me :D ***EDIT***
12. My point was this: You said that you thoight it would be a better place if there were as many Christians as the survey claimed.
Originally posted by Circuit/J If that was the case, I, myself, believe that the country would be in much better condition than it is now (not to get a "holier-than-thou" attitude, but if you were actually a Chrisitan (and not just someone who claims it), then you would at least try to keep from wrongdoing as much as possible).
I know that you added the proviso that they were true Christians, but all I was saying is that all Christians are not necessarily good people. Sure, there are heaps of good ones, but there are also heaps of good non-christians. It depends on people, not their religion. If you are raised well, then you will likely be a good person. Does religion really figure in it? Just because there were more Christians doesn't mean they would be better, necessarily. It could be, I was just pointing it out. But we are getting off topic- this is about whether the 60 seconds should be allowed or not.
13. Eh. I think it is absolutely fine. They had a point that Caucasians are not a minority, but that doesn't mean that they don't need a club to research their backgrounds in. And if it is open to all, then what is the problem? They should say that African-American clubs are racist, because it excludes Caucasians. But nobody does. yet when Someone starts a Caucasian club, it is overwhelmingly racist, for what reason? I get sick of the double standards that our world has. It is absolutely stupid. For Australia, they are always focusing on 'Aboriginal Health'. Why dont they just focus on Health? Having different standards makes the racial rift wider, not smaller. It is stupid. Some Aboriginals choose to live out in the middle of nowhere. Not our problem. If a bunch if white pople did that, everyone would say they were crazy, and give them nothing. But because nobody wants to be accused of being racist, so they don't say that. All this stuff about Aboriginals not getting a fair deal..... if they get an education, and look presentable etc. then I believe they have as much of a chance in life as anyone. If a white man didn't even try to get a job, try to be presentable etc, and complained, he would be a fool, a doll bludger. Those double standards infuriate me. I have nothing against aboriginals, it.... I don't know. Eh. Sorry about all that. I just get majorly pissed at double standards, and that has always been a bad subject for me. The first paragraph states what I mean anyway. But how can this avoid completely racism? That is the background to this whole dilemma, is it not? *****EDIT***** Dagger, did you even read the news article? It isn't a caucasian only group. Read the news article beofre making claims. Please. ****EDIT*****
14. OK. But unless there is some sort of Being, than being born in an artificial womb that completely replicates womb conditions would not matter. IF there are no such things as souls, then there is no reason for it to be an 'android' as you put it. How do you know? You can look at it from a scientific perspective, just from one that we don't know how it works. When babies are born, all they have is their survival instincts. Then as they are raised, they are shown new things, and learn from their surroundings. Which eventually gives them personalities. That is how I would figure it to be anyway.
15. I'd front up to them. 'Why did you give me a C? All my quizzes point towards a higher grade than this, so whats up with this?' If they don't give you a satisfactory answer, complain to the principal. Ask them what you could have done to lift your mark and improve for your next report. If you need to talk to classmates, then do it. I know what you mean about being quiet in class though. Thats a ditto for me. Welcome to OB. Glad to see a new member who can post well, and spell correctly. I am pleased.
16. Eh? In regards to what makes a human or other such creature 'alive' I do not believe there are many, or perhaps any who can prove it. Here at least. What I am saying is, how do you know that scientists don't know what makes a creature alive? You don't know what they know. My guess is that they could make a living human. Just have a fake womb, insert the cells, pump blood through it etc. (ask Drix. he's pre-med) and after nine months, if all conditions are replicated... Voila!! Presumably... I don't know. Intelligent design is quite possible, but so is evolution. Likely that we'll never find out the truth of either. or both.
17. I have heard that blonde one before. Actually both of them. That
sixteen two year olds
one is absolutely awful. You sick person you. Heh. And so was the one about the
cracking pelvis
that is sick and disgusting. I suppose it is slightly amusing, but more disturbing than anything. Heh.
18. *Laughs at cloricus* Ingenious Invention #001- Ejector seat in a helicopter. Ingenious Invention #002- Waterproof teabags Ingenious Invention #003- A working memory. I forgot the other jokes. Damn.
19. Ravenstorture... you have given my an incredible gift. I have laughed harder just then than I have all day. I have heard a few of those before, but thankyou. You have truly made my day. I heard a variation of one of yours though... Whats the difference betweeen a truckload of sand, and a truckload of babies? You can't load sand with a pitchfork.
20. Deep stood and stretched, fingers intertwining his fingers, pulling them apart. The blood-replacement serum flowed through them, giving a light prickly feeling; pins and needles. As he turned, heading towards the overhead locker where he had stashed his bag, he saw Cyan heading out of the corridor that located the rooms. Something on his expression was strange. Hurriedly grabbing his bag, and slining it ober his shoulder, Deep headed over to see what was happening. Deep: What is wrong? You look...strange. Cyan: It is nothing Steven. It doesn't matter, there has just been an...incident, thats all. With one of the Reploids. Uuh. Angelus. Deep: I hope it is nothing serious?.... Cyan: Have you heard of the phenomenon of visual dreaming? Deep: You mean like dreamwalking, but instead you are having a 'real' dream, and doing what you are in the dream? Cyan: Basically. Anyways, she has cut herself quite badly with her weapons. Don't say anything, she'll be alright she just needs some medical services. When we land which will be iminently, would you mind heading into the entrance hall. Behind the metallic blue vase is a small intercom button. Send a messsage to Yin- Medical help needed..... He proceeded to give Deep a rundown of the injuries and the equipment Yin would need. We will be landing in 1 minute. Please sit down and make yourself comfortable. There are strong crosswinds despite us being in a valley, so please buckle your seatbelts.
21. Uuh. I don't really go out. Nowhere in [my town] to go. It is a small country town, pretty boring. Nothing seems more pathetic to me than kids wandering around [my town]. Wow. lets go downtown and.......do .......stuff. Hell Yes, that rocks!!! Whatever. I stay at home. My bed time however bites. 8:00 to 8:30 I need to go to bed. Arrrrgh. Lately I was staying until 9 which is better, but that was only because I had *heaps of* homework. At my Dad's I stay up until, 11:00 or 12:00. which is fun, but tiring. I'm never happy. lol
22. I just got a big shock. When I first visited the Join page, it was just plain white with the entrance boxes. That is why I was wondering about the picture you were talking about. But I re-clicked it, and now I am seeing the normal layout Join page. The picture isn't so bad, but some of the shading makes it look weird, particularly a little white stringy moustache looking part coming off his face o_0. Strange. I like it though.
23. UUh. *is embarassed* Stupid memory. My bad. Maybe you could try them on some of the images anyway. yeh. Oh well, stupid me. The font looks better now, still large enough to be noticeable, but not so large that it is....wrong. I like your Join link. It is a shock to go from black to white ;) but it is good. Basic but good. I laughed at the buttons. "Join" "Don't" Heh. That just amused me. 3 hours? Is that all? I mean, it is quite a bit of time, but the site is so good. Even more impressive now. I am amazed.
24. Uuh. The lines across the images.... I think they are called 'blinds' or something? Like the old OB banner. As I said, the image looks kind of strange but could be alright. I have only seen your fanlistings and wristcutters so I wouldn't know, it was just my opinion. ******EDIT****** The text box looks better now. It just helps to block out some of the glare from the suns/light in the picture behind it. ******EDIT******
25. Congratulations on being accepted Sem. On the first page of the Ultimates the guys head is in front of the girl, but his body is kind of behind. It could be alright, but if you look at it closely it is a bit strange. I like the homepage layout- it is good. Nicely done, nice quality images. I don't like how bright the picture behind the text is, but that is my opinion. Rules page- not much to say about this. Same brightness problem, it hurts my eyes, but that could have something to do with 4 and a bit computer hours. lol. I think that your rules pages are always the same/similar and get repetive, but aside from us, no-one is checking each one, so it is good, I like your rules. Codes: I always like your codes, but I really liked your other site ones with the lines across the imaes. Try that on some here. The guy with the... hhhmmm spotlights on his chest is a nice picture. I would evaluate the join page, but it seems that you blocked the link until you edit the image. Members page: try to make the '1 Members' font smaller, it is too big and...bulky compared to the rest of your site, by my ideas anyway. Overall I like this site as well, it is well done and I like the menu bar idea at the top. Good job, once again you have revealed your expertise at webpage design. Another excellent job by you. *claps* 8.5/10
