I hate it when people get posting an answer just before me.:toothy: Anyway Logan, all these definitions should help you understand about Lizzie and the way Australia works. It is a bit strange, but Australia is a pretty good place to be, i feel.

I think we should become a monarchy. 1) Because lots ao Australians want to 2) Because i want to. On revision there is no particular reason, aside from to show that we are our own nation. well, not to show (we already have) but to make it official. I think that if we did, then the Union Jack should STAY on our flag. it is part of our History, and i feel attatched to it. Maybe a change could be- split the union jack in half (vertical cut) and replace half of it with the Aboriginal flag. That way it shows our two pasts joining (european and Aboriginal) and our Future as a main part (the Southern Cross), a future together as Australians. Accepting both our heritages, and moving into the future. I think that would be a good idea. We dont need a Governor General to show our ties to our past with Britain. Use the halfof the union jack to illustrate it. ****EDIT**** Logan- the British founded Australia. They landed here in 1788, and eventually claimed all of Terra Australis. So after our Federation (1901) they stepped partly aside, but our our 'mother country' so to speak. Thast why they have a (minor) role in our Government. We are part of the Empire. I see your opoint about that... I was suggesting it for mainly Newbies. And if you are a serious OB'er then send a message to James or Charles or whoever, telling them you are leaving for a while, and not to delete your account? And if you only have a low post count (as most Newbies do) then it wont tkae long to get your account back up and running, will it? I mean 6 posts from Fevruary 2002. They're obviuosly unlikely to come back. They are the sort of people who should have their account deleted.

Shorter post intervals would be a good idea. I liked the idea of time, but it needs to be a mixture of tome ON Ob and time since you joined. And post quality/amount. Which is quite confusing, so maybe the current system is best... aside form one thing that really rubs me up the wrong way... I try to make most of my posts worthwhile and decent. But there are some people (not looking at anyone in particular- *twitches* ) who jopined in, lets say July. Now they are a junioor member with, like 400 posts. And theirpost aren't even all that good. I find that is unfair, and while i wouldnt, it tempts me to post not-so-good posts, to gain higher ranks. And having a 250 post count before Change of status could put some (good) people off trying OB. I understand that it also helps get rid of bad posters (or some of them) but it is a (what i feel to be) unnecessarily large starting amount

I was searching for a name yesterday (seeing if it was free) and i found HEAPS of people who came on in like 2002 made 6 posts. And have obviuosly never come back? Should there be a period of time, after which their names are deleted from the system. Because they're obviously not coming back, and they are just hogging all (or some) of the good names. Maybe if you dont log onto OB for a year then your membership is deleted (especially Newbies). Because it seems rather pointless to have heaps of names that are never used. my mum is so feminist, i dont think i have achoice. i think women should be repsected though. Sure we can do things they cant, but dont forget that they can do things we cant. this is on the run, ill make a better one later.

Yer.... i feel lonely quite often recently... my friend at school is sick, and while I am friends with quite a few kids, i dont really 'hang' with them. so i drift around at recess. Kick a soccer ball by myself... i get quite.... sad? about it. At lunch i can go on computers though! yay!:P

Stressed.... i am not sure if i have ever been stressed.... only over homework. But i quite often get angry with my mum when she won't see things from my point of view, or when she is being unfair... i get sooooo pissed off. Eventually it goes, but now i think i am getting better control, and dont get so fired up.... i just ignore her. But parents can be really unfair sometimes i feel.

Another thing i forgot to mention at the beginning was that many of tthm are humourous [i.e. how they are closed down by mods]

My mum was robbed before i was born.... had a coin collection, Granfather's medals and some otherstuff taken...another time there was someonelurking outside our house when i was like..... 0.5643 years old. Scary? eh? Not as scary as yours though. I would gor for a burglar if they came into my house. My hockey stick is under my bed....

Well. I am glad that someone mentioned this whole thread was one big dose of lethal sarcasm. Coz i was [i]pretty[/i] sure you guys would pick up on it.... the starting post was loaded to the gunwales with it (sarcasm). very humorous though.... speaking of that i have seen a site claiming that, at the current rate, 'white' people will be wiped out in a coupla hundred years. So then the..... 'other' people can have all the fun ^_^ yayz. I would give it URL but it is kinda bordering on white supremist so it may offend. Was an interesting article though.

I hope that this isnt a spam-worthy thread (and dont think it is) but i just wondered if anyone here finds a compulsion to read closed threads... i dont understand why i do it, maybe to see if they were yelled at or something. I just think it is a strange habit, and does anyone else have something similar. Or are there any other annoying/ strange habits you have?

nah, nothing especially strange for me... aside from... well...hehehe. I had a little plastci parachute (you know from those men things). I was running around holding it in my hand saying 'Pizza, pizza, who wants a pizza?' And then i ran into a doorframe leading into the kitchen.... frozen pea-packet on head and im all better. then, me being a stupid little kid, particularly thick (j/k) i went running into the stupid doorframe again. Man i must of been begging for trouble ~_^

Yes, i like being on my own. Not always, sometimes it is good to hang out with friends. but i enjoy being on my own... i rarely long for company.... besides company=less food. The nasty guys eat MY FOOD! >.< im hungry. lol.Two fridns is the comfortable. 5 max... of course sleep-overs are cool. *thinks of amusing topics 5 teenage boys can come up with* hehehe

Eve and Tasrai have both added to me. Love the stories.... I enjoy verbal sparring/blatant arguing with Double_b_Daigo. And Taylor Hewitt. I respect sara for deleting the out of control posts in the pranks thread(oopses). I like many of you. Nomad makes awesome banners (even though i havnt had one of his yet) Charles is funny, yet sometimes so wonderfully dry. James makes the longest posts i have seen o.0 *oogles*. Many here make wonderful discussion. i dont know wrist cutter but i thank him too. Adam and James for OB. people with funny sig's for .... well their funny sig's. Ob is just so good. Essential. Nobody remembers or wants me, but i can handle that. As long as you guys are here, it doesnt matter does it?

My parents split up when i was about 3 months. I see my dad about 4 weeks in a year, and he is... or can be nasty. I dont really like him. it isnt so bad, because i cant remember my parents ever being together, i think it would be bad to remember your parents splitting...

Rokas, i agree. But as i said in an earlier post, you dont go around just fighting people. What the knowledge is for, is practical use in the real world. Or enjoyment or competition. But it was originally intended for practical use, in the real world, like at the beach (sorry couldnt resist it). Thats all.

What i was saying.... well losing may not be an option... you seem to be regarding fights as 'friendlies'. Thugs will leave you for dead. Honor is no barrier to them. This is a strength for them, because it is a limit to you. If losing is not an option, then what do morals matter. And when you get into a real fight... when your fighting for your health... then winning is [b]ALL[/b]. Losers are NOTHING. In those kind of cases at least. Winning is vital in that case....
