Baby Cristophe Jon Michael is Here!
EcCenTriC fairy replied to Lady Macaiodh's topic in General Discussion
I don't know you, but you will be in my prayers for a long time. I was going through and I read that post.... Words can't describe how incredibly sorry I am. I can't wait to have children myself, so even though I haven't had that happen, I can semi-relate. God bless you. -
Congrats! I love babies. :D

My Blog Address: http://www.livejournal.com/users/eccentricfairy Blog Name: Uh... EcCenTriC fairy's LJ? Thoughts/Reasons: I saw someone who had a LJ a year or so ago and I just had to have one. :) I had my own blog on my own domain a little while back, but I'm too lazy to design new layouts for it and I got sick of the old ones.

What element are you based on personality?

I'm rather airy if I do say so myself. ;) -
I just saw it yesterday and it's probably my favorite Jim Carrey movie, though that's not saying much because I despise Jim Carrey. :p

I'm a little old-fashioned, so I'm not too into contemporary worship services, though I love modern Christian music. Some of my favorites are Relient K, Skillet, Thousand Foot Crutch, and Disciple.

Actually, I think it looks fairly Neo-ish. Nice job! *Thumbs up* And very nice coloring. :D

I hate the fact that this movie is supposed to be about marching band. Nick Cannon is a horrible actor, the storyline was incredibly unbelievable, etc. I mean, you don't have band members just write cadences off the top of their heads.

Back in middle school we had dances every month, but in high school we only have the prom.

I'll be walking in two years and I'm going to bawl. My boyfriend's graduating this year and I'm going to bawl. Graduation is so emotional. :(

We have exams on my last day. :(

If I had it my way, Scooby would go kill Scrappy or something. I hate Scrappy with a passion - he's an embarassment to the Doo family!

Amen to the Diet Coke thing, though I buy the cheap Wal-Mart brand. ;) I drink at least 3 a day now. Ack!
-
I honestly think that's kinda stupid considering you're the only person I've seen doing that 'fake pic' thing, but I think graphic competitions would be a good idea.

I listen to rock, techno, classical, and big band swing. My favorite bands include: the Beatles Third Eye Blind Linkin Park Green Day Good Charlotte SOAD Pink Floyd Prodigy the Rolling Stones Staind Sum41 Blink182

Good, those dark people scare me... o.O But really, I like the banner. The 'Get Lost' really catches your attention, and your attention usually stays there. ;) Nice work!

I think he means more of a graphics competition... though I could be wrong. o.O

Yeah, I'm kind of a fence-resident on this issue right now, but I believe that this satire is really explanitory. Makes you think at least.
Originally posted by Vashstampede ...Oh yeah and to you fairy these are freehand except for Crim because I forgot what he looked like.
Wow, kudos! Awesome stuff! *Gives Vashstampede a smiley sticker :)*
Originally posted by Genkai The soundtrack was okay, but it wasn't good for the movie. They put it in all the wrong spots and it really ruined some scenes.
I agree - some fight scenes had awful background music. I didn't hear any songs that I thought sounded too great until the Linkin Park one during the credis, and I already own that CD. I guess I won't be getting that album. ;)

... I'm not quite sure if I want to see this. I thought the Nightmare on Elm Street series sucked, and wow, the newer Friday the 13th incarnations are awful. If I hear that it's any good, I'll watch it, but otherwise I don't think I'll waste my money.

I thought this was a very interesting satire. My friend sent it to me via e-mail earlier today. My Totally Justified Pre-emptive Strike -A Fictional Satire by Nick Ross, El Portal, CA The other day at school I heard a kid talking about fighting me, so I walked up to him when he buying lunch and punched him in the neck. He fell down and I kicked him in the stomach and then grabbed the back of his head and slammed his face against my knee three times. I would have kept going if some kids hadn't dragged me of him. Later that day I was in the principal's office to talk about the seriousness of what I had done. Mr. Jones, the principal, said I faced expulsion. He said there was a 'zero-tolerance policy,' which said that if you're in a fight, you automatically get expelled. 'But Mr. Jones, it was self-defense,' I argued. 'What are you talking about?' he asked. 'That kid didn't even get a punch in.' 'Yeah, but he would have really hurt me if I didn't stop him first. I didn't think I was doing anything wrong. I was just doing the same thing that President Bush is doing. If we don't get Iraq first, they'll get us. And if I hadn't gotten that kid, he would have gotten me.' 'Listen, don't go bringing the president into this,' Mr. Jones said. 'That's different. Our country thinks Saddam Hussein has weapons of mass destruction.' 'Yeah, well, I think this kid doesn't like me. And he certainly had the capability to do me harm. Someone told me he has really hard knuckles.' 'If you thought he was going to hurt you,' Mr. Jones said, 'then you should have told me or a teacher and we would have made sure you were safe.' 'Listen,' I told him, 'I was just following the example of the president. He went to the U.N., but they can't find any proof that Iraq had bad weapons, so they're not doing anything! SInce Bush knows Saddam does have weapons and will use them against us, he's taking matters into his own hands. And that's exactly what I did. I knew that if I told the school someone was planning to beat me up, they would ask for proof. They'd say, 'Just because someone doesn't like you doesn't mean they are going to beat you up.' But I knew that this kid might hurt me, so I just hurt him first." Mr. Jones agreed that all I was doing was following the president's example, but he also said I would be expelled anyway. If what I did was wrong, then is it possible that what the president is doing is wrong too?

Not too shabby for a sketch. Did you do those freehand or look at something?

LOL, I like it - simple and funny! *Thumbs up*
