Well, since OVA is the acronym for Original Video Animation, it may be the case where it doesn't have a part in the manga or anime, though that usually means that it took place somewhere in the original timeline, probably between certain chapters. From what I've heard of Lyrics of Love (the OVA), I would think that it takes place after the manga, maybe sometime during Gravitation 2.
Then I read the chapter of "Absolute Boyfriend". It was very intriguing...Riiko looks like Aya from Ceres: Celestial Legend, eh?
The thing about Yuu Watase's works is that she repeats the same plotline in different scenarios using the same characters with slight tweaks. That's why you can always say "Hey, he looks like Tamahome" or "Isn't that just Yui with brown hair?" Hence why I gave up on her a while ago.

Name: Seline "Vix" Vulpus Age: 20 Genus: Swart Fox Element: Water, Vorpal Occupation: Second-in-Command Arms: .18 Gungnir-Hag named Nack. Melee: Twin curved tonfa blades (try to think Talim's Double-Crescent Blades in SCII) Appearance: Seline in raid attire Personality: If there were ever a poster child for multiple personality disorder, Seline would be it. It literally amazes people how her mood change change at any given moment, being spunky and upbeat one moment and solemn and withdrawn the next. One thing she does stay consistant with, however, is sticking up for people when they're getting harassed for no apparent reason and taking to heart everything someone says to her, even if they mean it as a joke. Biography: Teased relentlessly when she was young, Seline never had all that much self-confidence growing up and it showed. Striking out on her own when she was 17, Seline wandered from town to town, taking on odd jobs to get by, usually staying quiet and avoiding others, acting cold and distant if anyone would try to speak with her. Upon coming to Antler's Rest, however, she found that she couldn't shake one wolf girl who she had helped one day at a food stand she worked at on a temporary basis, no matter what she did. Every day, Aria would go out of her way to talk to her, and eventually, despite herself, Seline developed a liking for her and they became good friends. When the town came under attack and Aria eventually led the Wild Katz to the sandport, Seline stood strong behind her, partly because she felt she owed her a debt of gratitude for being a true friend and mostly because she admired her friend's courage, which she had never really had herself. She now holds place as a sort-of Second-in-Command in the group, making sure group morale stays up and other tasks.
Originally posted by Des Wow, old thread. In remember this back when it was in the Pokemon forum. . . . *nostalgia trip*
You're telling me. I miss my Pokémon forum... *silent weep* Going back on what someone mentioned earlier, I wouldn't mind seeing an MMORPG version of Pokémon coming to the Revolution. Just imagine it; being able to capture Pokémon in real time, fighting trainers with actual player intelligence behind them and so on. Not only that, but you have a chance to do totally new things with it like make Battle Clans and set up your own kind of tournaments. It'd be a really great thing to see, though I know it'd be hell to program out and such.

That's our Jeh; always with just the thing to freshen up the Arena a little. I'm also intrigued by the whole hybrid thing (although I am a bit saddened that it appears players can't be a hybrid themselves. But that's the furry-fan in me protesting, lol.) I'm already forming guesses about plot twists regarding them, but I suppose I'll have to wait and see how it all turns out in the end. I'll definitely be looking for the sign-up thread once it goes live. Kudos, Jehness. ^_~ EDIT: You, sir, have just made my evening.

Even though no one got hurt, that doesn't justify the fact that they did something they weren't supposed to. Just imagine if someone had come along just as it would have went off, especially a child or something. People certainly wouldn't be making light of it then, would they? With things like this, kids tend not to consider the consequences of their actions. They just think its a harmless prank. Given, sometimes it is (i.e. TPing someone's house), but when it ventures into this type of territory, it crosses the line a bit. But that's just my thoughts on it.

Tales from Mobius: A Sonic the Hedgehog Anthology In the world of Mobius, there are many tales of the heroic deeds of many people in the past; there are also tales that don?t have quite as happy an ending as others might like. Times of pain, times of joy, the good and the bad? All of that is recorded here in this tome. These are the Tales from Mobius. * All right, then. It?s been quite a while since I?ve tried a new project in this neck of the woods, heh. Anyway, on to explanations and such. This, as you might have guessed, is a collection of stories from the Sonic universe. People who have been chosen to be each character can post a story or poem involving their character once they?ve been accepted. How can you be a major character? Simple, really. In order to play a major character, all you have to do is send me a sample paragraph through the PM system responding to the prompt that I?ll provide for each of them. More than one person can send me a paragraph for a character; it?s all up to how well you write that decides whether or not you are chosen. Can you play an original character? Why, yes. You can. All that I ask is you respond to the prompt that I will provide below. It?s that simple. Are there any rules for this? Only a few. The first guideline is that you, of course, write as best you can, proper grammar, punctuation and all that jive. People will read your stories looking for something really worth reading. The least you can give them is your all. ^_~ The second guideline is that this will be similar to the chapter-based system that?s oh so popular right now. That being said, each person will be given 10 days after the previous poster has posted their part to post something themselves (wow, I?ve never used the word ?post? so much, haha). If you feel that you cannot make the deadline, please let me know and we?ll work something out. The third guideline is that each story can have its own rating, but it has to be put in the title section of the post (the one section most of us leave blank, heh). The reason behind that is because the live thread will have the rating [E-M] since I don?t know what styles people will write with. Please remember this as you post your stories. The fourth and most important guideline is?have fun! The reason behind you trying to get in on this is because you like/love the Sonic universe and you want to bring your favorite character to life in a whole new way. Don?t think of it as a chore; play with it and have a good time. ^^ Don?t be afraid to PM/IM me or use this thread if you have any questions at all. I?m here to help. ^_~ * Prompts Below are the prompts for each character, as well as the original character prompt. Each character will have a status indicator next to their name, saying whether or not they are available. This will be updated as submissions come in. As for the original characters, once I feel that there are enough (I?m currently set on a limit of four), that status will also change. If you have any questions, please PM/IM me. Sonic the Hedgehog Status: Available Prompt: Sonic is running through a dense forest, chasing after the Egg Carrier. Knuckles the Echidna Status: Available Prompt: Knuckles is staring down a thief who has come for the Master Emerald. Miles ?Tails? Prower Status: Available Prompt: Tails is working on the Tornado, thinking about all the adventures he and Sonic have had. Amy Rose Status: Available Prompt: Amy is in her car, scouring the countryside for any clues on where Sonic has gone. Cream the Rabbit & Cheese Chao Status: Available Prompt: Cream is playing with Cheese out in her favorite flower field. Rouge the Bat Status: Available Prompt: Rouge is performing recon to get an idea of what she?s in for while she tries to acquire her latest target. (Note: All of the Chaotix are separate characters. I simply wanted to use the same prompt for them.) Big the Cat & Froggy Status: Available Prompt: Big and Froggy are having a relaxing day of fishing on the Emerald Beach Pier. Tikal the Echidna Status: Available Prompt: Tikal is searching for a Chao that has wandered away from the village. Dr. Robotnik/Eggman Status: Available Prompt: Robotnik is planning another scheme to build Eggmanland in the Acorn Kingdom. E-123 Omega Status: Available Prompt: Omega is tearing up one of Robotink?s bases, trying to find any clues on where he is presently located. Original Character Status: Available Prompt: Your character is walking among the Emerald Hills, thinking about things. If you wish to try out for the part of another character who is part of the comic series (i.e. Mina, Robbo, Bean, et. al), please PM/IM me. * Please use this thread only for questions or comments on other people?s stories once the thread goes live in the Anthology. Under no circumstances will prompt responses be reviewed here. I look forward to seeing your stories!

Manga What's the weirdest manga that you've read so far?
Kei replied to darkartic's topic in Otaku Central
Reading the Excel Saga manga can weird you out pretty bad at times. But it's a good type of weirding out (if you love insane comdies). But the top spot on my weird manga list has to go to Uzumaki. I know that it's supposed to be a horror manga, but for me, I got more "WTF" moments out of it than anything else. From the art style to the plot line itself, it's just....well, weird. -
Manga what do you think of my manga story so far?
Kei replied to NekoSama101's topic in Otaku Central
I do believe that it may be one of several words that have many translations in the Japanese language. Although, from what I've learned in my Japanese language class, "usagi" (oo-sah-gi) does, indeed mean "rabbit" and "tsuki" (sue-kee) means "moon." I think the translation may go back to the old folktale that told of a rabbit that was sent to the moon as punishment and was told to make rice cakes for children, if memory serves me correctly. (There's even a reference to the tale in a very early episode of Dragon Ball, heh.) Although, if you think about it in terms of Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon, her name being Usagi would make sense, taking into account her past and all. -
I was looking over at MangaNews today and I saw a description for a manga called Yuri to Yura. It sounded very interesting, but I was wondering if anyone knew anything more about it before I start going out of my way to try and find it. Anything you could tell me would be appreciated. ^^

I personally prefer to wear dark-coloured socks: black, navy blue, etc. I recently came by a set of nice, black cotton socks with a gold band around the top that I adore. They're simple, but very cute. At least, they are in my opinion. There were a pair of ankle socks I had once that had Tweety on them. Those were cute, too, haha. My friend tried to steal them from me on many an occasion.
Now that you mention quotes sweet-pea, I'm quoting for having nominated Lady K, something I am nearly certain I didn't do.
Is that your subtle way of saying you don't love me? :P Anyway, it took me a while to actually post here, but thanks for considering me nifty, even if I don't think I am myself, heh.
The Secret Yaoi Forum is just a lot of harmless fun overall, especially Stuart's latest topic about Kaiba/Kaworu. Mm.
You don't know how much reading that made me cry, Shy. You really don't. ...Anyway, the Kurogane/Kurama topic was a lot better. Getting to the topic at hand, though, I have to agree with what everyone else has said. I've been a member here since way back in v2, and the boards have only gotten better over the years. Yes, many things have come and gone, some with love and some with hate (I don't think anyone's going to forget that damn Newbie Lounge...), but there's not a time that comes to mind when a change has been a "one step forward- two steps back" type of thing. From my viewpoint, we go nowhere but up on the greatness scale. [/OB patriotism]

It's quite easy to just look up how much the product costs on one of the various search engines online; there's really no reason to create a topic just for this one little thing. That being said: Thread Closed.

I combined your posts into one, since none of them really go over the size limit (10,000 characters). Also, I'm more inclined to move this over to OB Anthology, due to the fact that this is more of a fanfiction than anything having to do with manga. That being said, I think I will.

Typically, we only limit music files being put into posts for the Adventure Inn and Square to help out on the aesthetic aspect of RPGs. Try to imagine what dial-up users would have through if we let users post music files in every single one of their posts. It'd be a bandwidth nightmare. That being said, the answer would be: In the Adventure areas, yes; everywhere else, no.

There's been a lot of debate whether or not Howl's stands a chance against Wallace & Gromit due to the outcome of this year's Annie Awards (Howl's was completely shut out by W&G). Since the Annies are somwehat of a preview of what will happen at the Oscars, Howl's outlook is pretty dark, but Miyazaki films are always fighters, so we'll just have to wait and see.

Wow, thank you all very much. These are all very nice. ^^ However, I've decided that I want to go with someting a bit different that I'm going to try and work on myself. But again, I'm very appreciative of all of you taking the time to make the images for me.

There is already an ongoing Furuba thread located here. Please post your comments and such there, thanks. Thread Closed

I would highly advise against using any sort of White-Out, period. White out has a tendency to: a) Not cover up very dark lines to begin with, which can make art look horrible when scanned. b) Be hard to work with, in general, which can also affect linework. I would really suggest looking around at a few art stores or searching around online to try and find some white ink before resorting to White-Out.

Been a while since I've made my way here, heh. Anyway, I would like it muchly if someone could possibly make me an Aisha Clan-clan banner and avatar set. The avatar can be anything, but I would like the banner to be Aisha in one of her fits and there phrase "Who are you calling an ANIMAL?!" in slightly grungy text somewhere on it. I'd very much appreciate it, and of course, anyone willing will get proper credit. Thanks in advance.

The other volumes are likely to be in Japanese, as Viz will have only released up to Vol. 24 as of next week.

Again, this is more pertaining to art than it is actual story development and the like, so I'm going to forward this on over to the Art Studio.

It's not just you, sug. Methinks that it might be work on the servers that's either in progress or has already been done and gone awry, but either way, it will ultimately be fixed. We'll just have to have patience.
