1. I think it would be very interesting to be a guy. Many things involved with it strike my fancy. I do admit, I can be a bit of a tomboy at times, but only because it makes things easier in some aspects. True, it may line up a whole new venue of problems, but to be able to get rid of some current ones would be awesome, lol. I find it easier to talk to guys, myself. They're just a lot more interesting to speak with. With me, it's mainly because the things I'm interested in girls usually want to have nothing to do with, at least where I live. --; It's a pain sometimes. That's why all my closest friends are guys. I couldn't stand it any other way, lol.
2. You pretty much diagnosed yourself, lol. You're right. Your body's not used to getting up that early in the morning. I remember when I had to do it, but I didn't go to bed until 11:00. It'll take a few weeks (or perhaps a month) to get used to the routine. Until then, just try to eat well to keep your energy up. Or you could pay somebody in your classes to poke you if you fall asleep, lol.

It's nice of you to think of the others who may want to try this out, but it's against the rules to simply make threads about sites in general. Therefore, thread closed.
4. I was talking about that the other day. They were actually very well done. Though, like many, I don't believe a live-action Yu-Gi-Oh! movie would be a good thing if it were ever made, it may be interesting just to see what the monsters would look like rendered in 3-D like in the commercial. Personally, I think Haley Joel Osment could pull off a good Yugi.... *dodges sharp objects thrown at her*

We've tried similar things like this in the past, the most recent being the "Favorite Pokémon" thread. We all know how that turned out. Not to say that I don't have any faith in you guys, but it's been proven that these threads can't go for too long without becoming spammy, so I'm nipping it in the bud now. Thread Closed.

phobia

I've got a bad case of aracniphobia. Every time I see a spider, I'll go far out of my way to avoid it. God forbid one lands on me. --; But I suppose I have a bit of pantophobia (or the fear of everything) as well. Why is beyond me. I guess because of all the bad experiences I've had as a young child. *shrugs* I'll get over it eventually.
7. It's a well-known fact that many television shows and magazines focus on nothing but following the lives of our favorite stars. Entertainment Tonight, Extra!, and People just to name a few. And many time, it may be somewhat interesting to hear about. But though a lot of people do have an interst in what happens in Orlando Bloom's life, just to pull a name out of thin air, isn't there a limit to all of it. After all, celebrities, when you boil down to it, are just regular people who have some fame and (with most cases) a big bank account. They're entitled to thier privacy just as much as anyone else, right? One would believe so. But common interest and public demand drag stars into the limelight, when sometimes, it's the last thing they want. Do you think that the media digs too deep, or not enough?
8. I'd have to recommend The Sight by David Clement-Davies. It's a fictional book mainly regarding animals, but it's extremely good in my opinion. It's set in Transylvania, and tells the story of a pack of wolves on the run from another wolf to try and prevent her from getting an evil power to control all animals. It may sound very child-like, but it's much better than it sounds. If you so happen to like that one, you could also give his first book, Firebringer a read. Lucas by Kevin Brooks is also a pretty good read. Very interesting at some points, and it being set in England helps a lot. For me, anyway.
9. There actually happens to be a few girls on some of the high school football teams where I live, and they do pretty well for themselves from what I've seen. I'm kind of at a conflict on this. On one hand, I think girls should be able to play if they want to, but on the other, I know that if that were to happen, the sport just wouldn't be the same. Many things would have to change in the manner of gameplay, and as big a fan as I am, that's the last thing I want to see. So, I guess I would have to say that, as long as the girl has enough experience and talent to play on Little League and high school teams, that's all well and good, but as far as the NFL, I wouldn't try it.
10. There's already been one warning about just saying which Pokémon you like the most and not giving a reason. This makes two. One more, and this thread'll be closed. Please try to think your posts through. ^^

Rayne had heard a pair of rather loud voices behind her, and though she didn't know exactly what they were saying, she knew it had to be about her. She turned slgihtly at the sound of running, and saw a Scyther coming up on her fast and an Absol running ooff to who-knows-where. Rayne: Great. Another Pokémon to fight. Just what I need... Rayne turned all the way around and faced the Scyther. She looked hard him, just waiting for him to make a move. She could take it out easy with a single Ice Punch. Rayne: Well? What do you want? Tical: You're one of us, aren't you? I've been waiting forever for you and the others! Rayne: What are you babbling about? Tical: You're not affected by the signal controlling everyone, are you? Rayne: Obviously not, or I would have attacked you by now. So why exactly were you waiting on me, ...I didn't catch your name. Tical: I'm Tical. But I was waiting for you because we have to get together and stop everyone from trying to kill each other! Rayne: Heh. I can understand you wanting to help, but what exactly do you think you can do against Psy5, Mr. Tical? Tical: What's "Psy5"? Rayne: That's the lot that's causing all the trouble. A group of amped up Psychic Pokémon bent on destroying everyone here in Irkon. Tical: Oh, so they're the ones! And I'm a lot stronger than I look. Rayne: Really now? That's a lot of tough talk, Tical. I hope you can back it up. I usually try to avoid contact with others, but you two seem clueless, so I guess I can help you out. I guess you would have to know my name, so, it's Rayne. And now that we know each other, let's try to find a place to sleep without getting attacked in the middle of the night. Tical: But the others-- Rayne: Doing a bit of hoofing to find us won't kill them. Hopefully. Let's go. So Rayne marched off deeper into the forest with Tical following behind, constantly looking for the Absol that had run off. Rayne looked back at her new party member and could tell it was going to be a long night.

Yaimon: We have to do something about them, Mewtwo. If we don't, they could-- Mewtwo: They could what? You honestly think that they could actually band together and challenge us, Yaimon? And if they did, do you think they would make a difference? Yaimon: The smallest grain, or I should say grains, of rice can tip the scales, you know. Mewtwo: True, that may be, but I assure you, there's nothing they can do to stop us. My plans are not going to be stopped by the likes of them. Conundrix: But can you be sure? There is no need not to be safe. Mewtwo: You all share this thought? That we should actually deal with these....would-be heroes? Mewtwo's eyes narrowed slightly as everyone present telepathically agreed that they should. Mewtwo: Fine. Where is the child? Mystra: Last time I saw him, he was bringing in some Oddish children "to play," as he called it. I heard screams five minutes later. Mewtwo: Hm. Then contact him and give him his orders. Conundrix: But why send him? Conundrix cowered slightly as Mewtwo turned and began walking towards him. Mewtwo: There is no need to send anyone else. Tomino has more than enough power to take care of them. Conundrix: Right. Exactly. My mistake. I'll even be the one to go tell the kid. In person, even. Please excuse me! And Conundrix quickly scurried out of the room, glad to be out of Mewtwo's line of sight. He was followed by Mystra's low chuckles and Yaimon's look of disgust. Yaimon: Why we keep him around is beyond me.... Mewtwo: It is because he serves a purpose, though a miniscule one. He's already told the child, so it will not be too long until our pest problem is under control... *** Rayne tromped down the mountain path in the evening sun, making sure not to step on anymore sleeping Geodude. The last thing she needed was to get into it with another one. The last two she'd fought were actually a bit strong and it took her a little more than normal to deal with them. Needless to say, she was a bit miffed. Fortunately, she was coming up on a forest, so she wouldn't have to worry about them for much longer. Rayne: No, it'll just be Zubat. Blood-sucking little gnats... Rayne entered the forest carefully, making sure not to step on anything that would make too loud a noise. Rayne: I suppose I should try to look for some food or something. Hopefully, there aren't many Mankey and Aipom around here... She walked on, not knowing that she was being followed by no one she could actually see... Not yet, anyway.

I wrote up the stats for the Psy5 last night (missing half of Futurama to do so, so feel special), so here you go: Name: Mewtwo Specie: Same as above Age: 25 Bio: After escaping from Giovanni's secret laboratory, Mewtwo spent months searching for a place to settle down and call his own. He finally found the queit country of Irkon, and after weeks of careful observation, decided to nest there. He quickly contacted all Psychic Pokémon in Irkon and had them converge in his cleverly disguised mountain fortress. Many failed to reach the front entrance, however, due to the fact that Mewtwo had booby-trapped the path as a test. The ones that managed to survive were made a part of his army and the four strongest were made the final four members of Psy5. With Mewtwo at the helm, they came up with the plan to purge Irkon of all Pokémon except Psychics to make it a haven for them. Mewtwo will stop at nothing to have his plan seen through, though he knows te motley crew of Pokémon that are somehow unaffected by the Mind Tower may pose a problem in the long run... Moves: Psychic, Recover, Shadow Ball, Thunderbolt, Future Sight --------- Name: Yaimon Specie: Alakazam Age: 35 Description: Mustache has many flecks of silver and doesn't carry twin spoons. Bio: Yaimon is Mewtwo's right-hand man and advisor. One of the first to pass Mewtwo's harsh tests, his power is great, as is his intellect. Many times he has pondered exactly why Mewtwo would not just enslave all the Pokémon in Irkon, rather than destroy them, but he dare not ask, since he knows what Mewtwo is capable of. Instead, he offers his wise advice when needed and helps train the troops for the final conquest. Moves: Psywave, Psybeam, Theif, Thunder Wave, Body Slam ----------- Name: Mystra Specie: Jynx Age: 20 Bio: Mystra is the only female member of Psy5, but that doesn't at all mean she's not capable of being a true force to be reckoned with. She quickly made her presence felt after passing Mewtwo's tests by taking out her competition relatively quickly. Using her dancing to her advantage, she can put the quick freeze on anyone who gets in her way. Moves: Lovely Kiss, Ice Punch, Psywave, Blizzard, Sweet Kiss ----------------- Name: Conundrix Specie: Hypno Age: 18 Description: Deep brown instead of honey-toned; pendulum is black instead of silver. Bio: Not much is really known about Conundrix except that he's famous for his puzzles and mind teasers. Though formidable in battle, he prefers to toy with his opponent's psyches. Not quite as strong as the others, he's still a respected member of Psy5. Moves: Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Nightmare, Headbutt, Toxic ------------- Name: Tomino Specie: Wynaut Age: 13 Bio: As the youngest member of Psy5, Tomino gives "Tiny Terror" a new meaning. Frequently turning his opponent's attacks back against them, he's a strong foe to deal with, though he does tend to act very childish at times. Moves: Counter, Mirror Coat, Perish Song, Destiny Bond ---------- There. That's all the stats for the Psy5 members. The thread will be up momentarily. Anyone can still join the RPG, if they want.

Name: Rayne Specie: Croconaw Age: 17 Desciption: Darker shade of blue with black underbelly instead of white and silver eyes instead of blue. Also has slightly larger canine fangs than normal. Bio: When Rayne was a Totodile, she was a bit of a loner. She never wanted to play with any of her hatchmates or the other Water Pokémon that had so much fun around her. She just worked hard to perfect her attacks and be the strongest Totodile. It just gave her something to do since it was pretty quiet around Irkon. When she evolved to a Croconaw, and a lot more responsibilities came about, Rayne switched gears slightly. She took more to watching over the baby Pokémon and they all loved her. She seemed quite content. That was, until the fights started. She tried hard to protect the little ones, but many of the affected Pokémon overpowered her and took them away. She doesn't know exactly what happened to them after that. The sadness she felt was enough to turn her back to her old ways of avioding everyone, so she tends not to follow the beaten path when traveling around. Upon finding out from a loud-mouthed Drowsee spy that Psy5 was behind all the chaos, she went off not exactly knowing how she'd stop them, but knowing she would somehow... Moves: Ice Punch, Bite, Dig, Water Gun, Rain Dance -------------- Okies. It seems nobody wants to be a Psy5, (Who could blame them? Evil baby snatchers...), so as soon as I write up some stats for them, I'll post them here and we can start, so I'd say it'll be by tomorrow. Thanks for the great sign-ups, everyone. ^^

Note: In this RPG, humans don't exist at all. Also, you'd have to disregard the Pokémon movie storylines in which Mewtwo's destiny was decided.^_~ In the Irkon region, everything is very quiet. All the Pokémon live in peace and harmony together and work towards making Irkon an even better place to live in than it already is. At least, that was the case until recently. Many mass battles have erupted amongst once docile and harmless Pokémon. Electric-types taking on Water and Flying-types, Ice-types constantly harassing Grass and Ground-types, and some types, like Fire and Dragons, have even begun fighting amongst themselves. All has erupted into chaos under the careful watch of a group of Pokémon calling themselves "Psy5". This coallition of Psychic Pokémon, led by none other than Mewtwo, have taken it upon themselves to take full control over Irkon and turn it into their own utopia. Rather than get their own hands dirty, they constructed a special device that broadcasts a signal to control all Pokémon's minds and and drove them to destroy one another. But, for one reason or another, a handful of Pokémon were able to avoid being controlled and found out exactly what was going on. Now they aim to put a stop to Psy5's evil plans. They know it won't be easy, but they have to save their peaceful world somehow... ---------------- All types (except Psychic, unless you sign-up as a Psy5) and Pokémon (except Legendaries) are open for taking. Here's the sign-up sheet: Name: Specie: Age: Description (only if any special markings): Bio: Moves: The only limitation that I have is that you keep your move list down to about five, and that it be an actual move. Other than that, go nuts. Also, if you want to sign-up as a Psy5, please make a small mention before your sign-up. Just remember that you'd have to be a Psychic-type. Have fun!
16. My school's colors are red, white and light blue (How patriotic) and our mascot is the bison. --; I never liked it. Perhaps due to the fact I'd gone to cat mascot schools prior to going this one. And the fact that the freshman sawed the legs off the metal statue of it in the front lawn really didn't help matters...
17. Heh. If OB were to ever fade away, I'd have a lot more time on my hands to stare at the walls in my room, lol. But seriously, I'd probably just do a lot more stuff than I do now, and actually buckle down on the novel I'm trying to write. Lord knows I procrastinate too much for my own good. lol I know I'd keep in touch with all the people I talk to now. Nothing could stop me from doing that, even if I had to send a letter. I care about them too much not to. But I know this won't happen for quite a while, so I'm not too pressed about it.

Trust me, I know from experience. I remember being a freshman and feeling out of place. I usually just kept to myself all year, and wasn't really bothered. But as you go on in the school year, you'll warm up to people and such and do just fine. Nothing to worry about in the least. Just make sure not to use the bathroom during the breaks... >_

24. I love the Ranma series. My personal favorite character would be a toss-up between Ryouga and Kuno. On one hand, Ryouga's always getting lost (comedy in itself), is somewhat of a match for Ranma (both in fists and words), and looks good in a sleeveless shirt. ( ) On the other hand, Kuno cracks me up to no end with the way he talks and acts, and that he frequently gets kicked through a celing by various people. Plus, he's the Kendo Club leader, and I've grown very fond of the sport. So, like I said, it's a toss-up. The series itself is great. The mix of comdey and action, not to mention interesting plot twists (Ranma's mom, anyone?) makes it a great show to watch. I've only seen the entire first season and the 2nd DVD of the second season and read 1-8, 10, 19 and 20 of the novels, but it's still pretty funny.
25. Claire ran down a dark alleyway, panting hard. She splashed through a shallow puddle and looked around for any signs of movement. "How in hell could we have gotten separated this easily?!" It was true. Somehow, in all the melee, she, Chris and Rebecca had went opposite directions and were now nowhere near each other. Claire cursed under breath and keep running, eventually coming out on a main street. Looking around, she didn't see any sign of anything, living or un-dead. She cautiously stepped out of the shadows and walked slowly in order to catch her breath and take in her surroundings. She appeared to be in a slum neighborhood, by the looks of the apartments around her. Trash was everywhere on the street and many of the lamplights were broken. "Just my luck. There's a ton of places for one of those freaks to hide on this street, and I had to walk straight into it. It may just be easier to go back the way I came..." But as she turned around, she came face to face with an old friend. A large mutant Doberman had been sneaking up on her this whole time. Slowly, Claire reached to grab her shotgun, only to find that is wasn't there. "You've got to be kidding me! I lost it?!" The sudden sound caused the Doberman to start, and it immediately began advancing on her. "Nice, evil mutant dog." she said while backing away, all the time thinking how she was supposed to get out of this one...
