Originally posted by Semjaza Azazel My real dream is to own a music store. Not a tiny, crappy one that offers only one type of music... but a decent sized one with all sorts of things, that still manages to feel like a small, local store. Would be cool if I could fit games, movies and such in there too. At this time though, I'm just concerned over the music aspect. Hopefully it'll work out.
That sounds like a store just down the street from me. Very cool, but horribly managed. >_< For me, I'd love to be an illustrator. Being a visual person, I'd like to help people imagine what a world would be like that another person created. I've done a few already, and they're not very good in my opinion, but there's always room for improvement. Other than that, I've taken a real interest in writing lately. I've written a few things already, under that spinoff genre, for lack of better term, that I think are pretty good. So I may go into that too.

Excerpt from diart found at Jukinu: "Strange men have just come here. They call themselves the "Ryu Ronins" and they're demanding we give them everything we have valuable. The men of the vilage have sent us little children and the women away to the houses. I can hear yelling from here....I can hear swords clanging on one another. They've all started to fight....Now the leader is saying something...I can't hear it......They're burning the village! We need t--" The page found ended in a splash of blood. Attacks have recently been initiated by a large group of swordsman and martial artists calling themselves the "Ryu Ronins." Several villages and small cities have been attacked and destroyed by this group. What few witnesses that managed to escape death say that the members are very strong and exceptionally skilled. A few have been reported to possess "magical powers." No one knows why these "Ryu Ronins" have decided to wreak havoc over all of south-west Japan, but many have fallen at their hand, and their ranks become stronger by the day. Led by an unseen force, they seem to have only destruction on their minds... Some citizens have decided not to take all this lying down. Figuring for themselves that they must put a stop to it, several people from several different villages and towns have set out in order to put a stop to the Ryu Ronins' crimes. All of them have no knowledge that they are all bound by destiny as they travel their paths to help end all the suffering that has come to the land. They will have to band together in order to defeat an evil none of them could possilbly begin to fathom... ---- Major Cities and Towns Subaiyashi- Large city in the central area of south-west Japan. Known mainly for the large marketplace there and is ideal for trading. Unfortunately, for this same reason, it is also an ideal place for bandits and thugs, and has a very high crime rate. It's also believed to harbor the HQ for the Ryu Ronins, but no proof has been given. Kairachi- Town 45 miles south of Subaiyashi. A major site for religion, many people come here to pray to the many shrines or just to enjoy the peaceful serenity of the country atmosphere. It has become uneasy as of late, due to the RR attaks. Jukinu- This site of ruins 25 miles west of Subaiyashi was once a town that grew fine crops for the Subaiyashi Market. Now that the RR have decimated it, nothing is left except charred house skeletons and corpses, and the surrounding cities and towns have had to take up the slack for the amount of produce lost. This does not stop a determined few from trying to salvage what is left of their homes and farms, including wandering bandits. Lyukishin- Medium-sized city 15 miles southeast of Kairachi. Famous for its many pubs and taverns, it is often called "The Home of Drunk-Fu," due to the many bar brawls that errupt there. Oyohama- This fairly large city is famous for the fine weaponry and armor it produces. Many believe it will be the next target for the RR due to this fact. ---- You may sign-up as a good Ronin or a Ryu Ronin. Ryu Ronins may have groups in which they can follow or lead, or you can be a loner. Mind, I do want to keep things balanced. Good Ronins dod not have to carry a weapon, but must have a style (i.e. tae kwon do, jujitsu, whathaveyou) Same with Ryu Ronins. Also, a few people may choose to have a special power. I don't want anything too fancy like combustion or something. Simple limited super speed or special sensory is fine. Here's the sign-up sheet: Name: Age: Origin*: Affiliation: Occupation (if applicable): Weapon (if applicable): Style: Appearance: Bio: Ability (if applicable): Pet*: *Note: A character may have a pet. If this pet is magical (i.e. can talk, fly, etc.), it will count as your special ablility. *Note #2: The area you come from doesn't neccisarily have to be an area I mentioned above. I'll be taking around eight or nine people, (if anyone decides to join), four or five for each side. I'll be choosing who is let in based on quality of sign-up, therefore I suggest not doing a rush job if you really want in. ^_~ I'll be posting my sign-up a bit later. Have fun!

I can honestly tell you that both my first and middle names have no meaning whatsoever. Oo; But my last name, Rowe, apparently means "A river that overflows its banks." Highly interesting, given my personality. Anyways, my OB name is just something of a grab out of the back of my mind thing. In the past, I've said it was because I liked the look of katanas and I liked medieval things, but I was completely mistaken. (Blast my pitiful long-term memory) It was simply because I had watched a Mortal Kombat movie marathon on somebody's cable channel (more than likely TBS) and Katana had just stuck in my head. *shrugs* Everybody always calls me LK or Kei now anyway, lol.

I know what you're talking about. "Episode 25.5", lol. That was the episode that was after "Pokémon Scent Station," but before "Hypno's Naptime." The thing was that there was a bikini contest with something big as the prize, in which Team Rocket decided to enter. Delia (Ash's Mom) also entered. Jesse forced James to wear a bikini with an inflatable top, though why she didn't just enter herself is beyond me. Oo; Anyways, due to another scheme, they lose and more than likely got sent off to the horizon somewhere, and Delia won the contest. There's a scene from this ep in Hypno's Napitme when Ash has a flashback with his Mom and Prof. Oak in it.

Spoiler tags, man! lol But actually, D_A...
Giovanni sends Jesse and James into Hoenn to "keep an eye on the competition." More or less, this is true, but it's really to keep them out of his hair, as usual. Team Magma meet up with them in the above mentioned ep, and of course, beat them senseless. ^_~
I wouldn't want them to go, though. I love James too much.

And I thought it'd be devoted to DuckTales, Sem. Silly me. I'd probably focus more on my art and writing if OB so happened to suddenly catch a modern-day Black Plague, so to speak. God knows I need to be working on my portfolio now more than ever anyway, lol. But I would be really sad. We've all put so much into this place, James especially. He'd probably go into seizures, lol.

I remember watching the news at one time a while back and having a flashback. There just happened to have been a fire at an apartment building in a county slightly north of us which was started by a matress fire. It instantly made me think of the time there was a fire in my old apartment building when I was five that was started because someone forgot to put out a cigarette while in bed and fell asleep. It wasn't exactly painful, as the whole building didn't go up, just that one apartment, but it did rattle me a bit, being as young as I was. And it's weird because I walk by it every day and feel nothing. Oo;

Name: Claire Redfield Age: 19 Description: See attachment. Weapon: Shotgun Bio: Needless to say, Claire is somewhat of a veteran when it comes to dealing with Umbrella creations. Having had to fight just about all over the world, including the freezing Antarctic, Claire can just about handle any situation, despite her rather young age. You'll have to forgive me for the Bio part, Domon. ^^;

If you really want to get into Julliard, all you have to do is make your music your top priority after schoolwork. With enough time, patience and diligence, you could probably get in with no problem. ^_~ As for me, I've been wanting to become a manga artist for the longest time now, and I still want to be, but I've become more interested in writing and foreign countries as of late. I know for a fact that studying abroad once I get to college (perhaps in England or Japan) would help me out a lot, and fulfill a life-long dream. ^^; Of course, another big thing is not flunking out of college. That would probably mean my neck around where I live, lol. But really, I'm honest looking at being either an illustrator/artist or an author. If those fall through, I can always look toward my Cisco training for support.

Let's try to keep it civil. No need for unneccesary comments. As has been said many times before, it's just an out-and-out lie, more than likely. Nine times out of ten, violent movies may leave a rouge thought in someone's mind that they'd never act upon. This group of kids just did it for fun, and tried to pin the blame on The Matrix, more than likely because they've heard the excuse before. It's all just a sad attempt to get their fat out of the fire that probably won't work.

I personally love Spriggan myself. It's a great movie with a pretty nice plot twist at the end. The action is great and the animation is very nice. The main characters have depth to them, which is something I like to see. The music was very nice, too. Something you can have stuck in your head and deal with. Overall, a really cool movie.

"Chibi" is a Japanese word. It's generally used to say that something's a smaller form of the original, or most people who read manga will call the little SD (or Super Deformed) caricatures that the artist sometimes draws in a little article they write in their book a chibi. I do believe it literally means "pipsqueak" or something like that, but I'm not entirely sure. But that's what it's usually used for.
Originally posted by Syk3 My favorite ride is probably Superman: Ride of Steel at Six Flags America. I like rides for the same reason that everyone else loves them: for the feeling you get in your stomach, and on Superman, there is a large drop, two medium drops, and three small, yet satisfying drops. It's my favorite ride in the park, and since there are very few other amusement parks that I've been to, I'm counting this one as my favorite until I go on a better one.
Yay! Someone else knows the greatness of that ride. ^^ That has got to be my all time favorite, right there. I was a bit nervous at that first drop, it being how steep it is and my slight fear of heights, but after that, I was chanting "G-force!" the rest of the way like a big dork. lol My other favorite is the Joker's Jinx. I just love the way it takes off at 50 miles an hour. Sort of reminds me of the Hurler at King's Dominion. About got whiplash off of it, too. ^^; The only one I got on that had me reeling was the Batwing. --; Only reason being is that you have to practically stare at the ground the whole time, and they've got like three corkscrews in the thing. Needless to say I was pretty dizzy afterward.
Originally posted by Chris nice idea. heh, i should have thought of that. i did something simular and gave it to lady k, but i can't really talk about it. i wonder why she hasn't done anything with it yet. -_-
Oh, I am. Trust me on that one. But I will tell you this: .ZIP files are evil, Chris. So very, very evil... I find that so hilarious. Especially Charles, for some odd reason. You should have thrown Kitty in there for good measure, lol. I like them. And yeah Piro, the paper is sort of fleshy-looking...

I'll give you the CliffNotes version here in spoilers. Just PM me if you want a more detalied version, EG.
Ash arrives in Hoenn with Pikachu, who is seriously ill due to another failed TR scheme. He tries to find a Pokémon Center, but is told only Professor Birch can help him. Ash, of course, goes off to find him. May cycles to Prof. Birch's lab, only to find him being chased by a small pack of Poocheyena. They get him up a tree, and he asks May to help using the Pokémon in his bag, which May reluctantly does, as she's scared to death of Pokémon. (Weird, no?) Pikachu is getting worse and Ash is getting deperate. The built-up electricity in Pikachu's body is causing it great pain, and it gets away from Ash and runs off into the forest in pain. Ash gives chase, and eventually crosses paths with Birch, who'd seen Pikachu and knew what was wrong. He then tells Ash that if they don't catch up with and cure Pikachu, the built-up electricity in it's body will cause it to explode. They eventually catch up with Pikachu, but Pikachu only runs away from Ash again. In it's daze, it runs off a cliff and Ash dives after it. He grabs Pikachu and manages to grab the cliff with his other hand. As Prof. Birch helps him up with a rope, Ash tells Pikachu that everything will be alright, but is only bitten in return. Upon reaching the top, htey are attacked by Team Rocket who've concocted an electricity-absorbing robot. They grab Pikachu, and instantly begin sucking up it's electricity, oblivious to the fact that it's only helping it. Eventually, the excess electricity is sucked up, and the robot's reserves are full. Pikachu gives another extra zap and sends Team Rocket off to the horizon (as usual).
There was a second part to the show, but I have to go here in a bit, so I'll post it later.

All you have to do is click on "Post Reply" and scroll down to attachments. There should be a small bar where you can type in the filename. Click Browse and then go to wherever your picture is stored (C drive or what have you). Highlight the file and hit Open, then hit the Submit Reply button after you've typed out your message. Also, questions like this should go in the Suggestions & Feedback forum. We tend to lump help questions in there too.

But he's so cute, and one of the few (if not only) characters that got to keep their Japanese voice actress. ^^; I'm personally looking forward to the show myself. The preview got me itching for it, and I think it may turn out to be really good. I'm wanting to see if Ash takes more of a Brock role (as in a mentor to May), but with Ash's attitude, I doubt it. lol

Yami Bakura: Now I'll end this!....as soon as I scratch this itch on my leg. I knew I shouldn't have went through that poison ivy earlier...

It's the small things that tend to stand out, from my perspective. I've had that happen to me before. When my grandmother died, I prayed that I might see a feather from a bird on the ground every time she was watching over me, and every now and then, I do. It's probably just a coincidence, but I feel she is. *shrugs*

It was probably just an honest mistake, but rules are rules, and we don't allow double posting, plain and simple. As for throwing your topic around like trash, I have no idea to what you are refering. I was simply letting the both of you know that you were violating board rules. It's in the job description. I know one thing. If I see either of you two flaming or posting nonsense respectively again, action will be taken. Also, use the Edit button to add something to your comments, rather than double posting. To regard the subject, I'm 100% behind Semjaza. Nintendo and Warner Bros. do it simply because they know it will bring in profits. There's no reason not to, especially since the release of Ruby and Sapphire has brung in some new fans, at least where I am.

Lunarlani and SonicSlash, the other thread in question was the one in which you could say what you believe the perfect Pokémon would be. In this one, just tell us the Pokémon you made-up, or what-have-you.

And the winner is....Mina! I found that so funny because it's so true.... Runner-up is DeathBug. Go ahead, Mina.

Well, there's one that I know I have. (He knows who he is. ^_~) But other than that, I've always thought Weh, James, and Ken were especially nice to talk to.

lol Perhaps because of language and violence and such. I would suggest you do get it. It's one of the best animes that I've ever seen, but that may not mean a lot to you. I'd get it if I had the chance.
