I'm often times playfully arguing with my friends because I've done something really dumb and ended up with my foot in my mouth, but I'm always there for them no matter what. [color=royalblue][i]Rayne sat in the shadows, away from the festivities going on. She was in one of her moods again. Everyone in the tribe knew not to try to come close to her, as they'd get a good, vicious slash to an appendage for their trouble. As often was the case, Rayne didn't know why she was so sad and angry during this particular occasion. It just overcame her as she was joining the party. Perhaps because of the fact that she had seen all the others with their friends and family, and she had none of her own. The only "friend" she had was Kenratu, and that was somewhat shaky, at least in her mind. She just knew that she wanted to be alone in the dark with her thoughts.[/i] [b]Rayne:[/b] The humans are fools. They think they can rally against our strength. The pitiful idiots. Such a waste of life. Though it shall be somewhat sad to see them die. They are interesting in their own little way... [i]Rayne thought back to a day when she had seen a pair of young humans in the jungle when she was on her own. They weren't children, just teenagers. A boy and a girl. They were most obviously tourists who had become lost in the vastness of the entangled vegetation while exploring the place. They looked so frightened. Every sound was odd to them, and every moment they spent in that same spot, the more their terror grew. She watched them from afar for a while, tracking them to see what would happen. The girl took the lead and gave encouragment to the boy, even though she was just as scared as he was, if not even more so. Rayne somewhat admired that about the human. She didn't know why, but she just did. After a time, Rayne grew tired of her "human-watching" as she dubbed it, and decided to put an end to their wimperng and fear. The stench of it gave her a headache. She moved in fast. They barely had time to hear the rustle in the bushes before she was upon them. She took the boy out first, killing him with a simple swipe to the neck. Blood spurted forth, spilling onto the girl's arms. Rayne thought back to the look that came onto her face as what had just happened hit her full force. She slowly looked to her arm and screamed as Rayne looked on. The pitch she rendered made Rayne's head feel like it would split. She quickly put a stop to it by plunging her claws into the girl's chest.[/i] [b]Rayne:[/b] Reminds me of some animal's mating season.... [i]She didn't eat the humans, only sat there for a time after she'd killed them and looked at them. Their faces were still contorted in masks of horror. It amazed her how they looked. Their mouths shaped in silent screams, their eyes fogged over in death. Sort of poetic, in a way. She left them to be found by other humans, but she never forgot how they looked when she left them. Like little dolls, broken during a playtime romp and colored over with a bright red crayon.... Rayne came out of her memories and looked up at the starry night sky.[/i] [b]Rayne:[/b] I guess that's what I can expect to see once everything kicks into high gear....[/color]

[spoiler]More than likely that happened before Ash and Pikachu got on the ferry to the Hoenn Region. It appeared as if it happened at a seaport.[/spoiler] [color=royalblue]I must say that the new series appears rather interesting. May seems like a very likeable character, though she's just a beginner. I guess Ash will be sort of a mentor to her. Her Torchic is cute. ^^ All the Pokémon they showed during the short periods before the breaks looked really cool. I like Zigzagoon a lot. And I got a new nickname for my friend. Skitty!! It looks pretty cute, too. I can't wait to catch one in R/S. Team Magma seems like they're even worse than Team Rocket (the good agents, not Jessie and James), so this might be a good element added to the show. I can't wait to see what Team Aqua looks like. From what Giovanni said, they probably just as bad, if not worse. Overall, the show looks good. The smoothed over animation gives it a somewhat different look. In a good way. I'm really looking forward to seeing the whole season next year.[/color]

[color=royalblue]What do I love most about my life? Well, tops on that list are my wonderful friends. All the ones that I've met here and talk to online often are very important to me. I'd do anything for them. The same with my family. We might be a bit dysfunctional, but what family isn't in their own little way? I know they'll be there for me, and that's what counts. To round out my top three, I love my drawings. Art is the main thing I want to go into, and I'm having a great time putting my portfolio together for college. I've done some of the best stuff I've ever done as of late, and I couldn't be happier about that. 'Tis a very confidence-boosting thing. ^_^[/color]

[color=royalblue]Actually, it doesn't matter what it's SA is, because Water moves are considered Physical Attacks and draw from the Attack score. ^_~ Shocked me when I first found that out. Oo If you do go with a Machamp, Cross Chop is pretty much your best bet, as it can often get a critical hit. I love double damage. ^^ You can go with G/S/B Master and equip a Black Belt for extra punch and raise Cross Chop's PP with some PP Ups, or save some cash and attacha Mysteryberry.[/color]

Fending for herself was easy because she's very rage prone and tends to be very violent when threatened. However, one day, Kenratu came across her became some what of a friend. They often talked and did other things, and she picked up on his slight sense of humor. She appreciated him for caring for her so deeply, as she probably would have gone and done something drastic if he hadn't. She sticks close, but stays a respectful distance away. Her life is better now, but she's still on that narrow edge.... Description: Around 5'10", short white hair, and steely-gray eyes. Not very tone, but still rather strong. Wears white T-shirt with long black pants, and her bow slung over her back. Personality: Rayne is very odd. Sometimes she can be the main one cracking jokes, but other times, she can be severely withdrawn and angry for no apparent reason. [color=royalblue]Well, the best bet against a Tyrannitar is to pull a little trick with it. Since it's a Rock/Dark type, you would want to have a Water or a Fighting-type go against it. In this case, a Poliwrath would be perfect. A simple Mind Reader/Dynamic Punch combo would lay it out easy. As for the trick I mentioned, teach a Rhydon Surf. That way, you'll have a move that he wouldn't expect in your arsenal. (A super-effective one at that)[/color]

[color=royalblue]I think that you did a pretty good job overall with it, Kenji. I've done that a few times to see what ti looks like, and I'd say that's pretty close. Of course, my eyes hurt for a long time from the saltwater, but that's not the point. I would think that the rays would need to be a little brighter and and water needs to have a bit more of a greenish tone to it, but it's really good. ^^[/color]

[color=royalblue]I'll admit that it would suck not to be able to use all the Pokémon in the new games, but that would make it a bit harded and more challenging in the game, so in a way it's better. As for the design of the new Pokémon, I like them. You say these designs are bad, but you seem to be forgetting about the most underdesigned character that came out in the beginning, Ditto. -__-; It looks like a wad of gum. All of the Pokémon are based on basic geometric shapes, which would make them all seem similar in a way. It all depends on the way you look at it. I doubt that this will be the last games made for the GBA, if the earlier patterns are any clue as the way Nintendo will go. As it's happened, they've always had the next series tied into last one. With the Primary Colors Series (Red, Blue, and Yellow), the games were able to tie into the Precious Metals Series (Gold, Silver and Crystal) via the Time Capsule. With the Precious Gems Series (Ruby and Sapphire), I'm betting the'll make a third one, more than likely named Emerald, and then they'll make another series to tie into that one. Nintendo'll probably make the next Pokémon Stadium for the GCN, and then go from there.[/color]

[color=royalblue]Someone in another thread mentioned the new series, and that got me thinking. This Saturday, March 15, Kids WB will be showing a special called "Who's That New Pokémon?" at 8:30. It'll show previews to the new season of Pokémon due out next year. Given, this would probably be better discussed after the fact, but the previews look too good not to say something. It appears as if Misty, Togepi and Brock will be taking a season off and the new female character from the game will be joining Ash and Pikachu on their adventures in Hoenn. It seems that she has all the new starter Pokémon, as well as a couple others. There also appear to be some cute little puppy-like Pokémon that might be the pre-evolved form of Houndour that might play a role in there as well. And most important of all, Ash gets a new hat! ^^ What do you guys think about it?[/color]

Nothing out of the ordinary was happening. It was business as usual. Or at least everyone thought that was the case. None of them knew the dark truth. A stranger walked among the residents of the peaceful city. This shady person cloaked in secrecy and veiled in darkness walked down the street with only one thought in their mind. To accomplish the task they needed to finally have the necessary power to conquer the world. Walking along at a suspiciously slow gait, they either didn?t notice or didn?t care when they ran into random people on the street. One man was most upset upon being shouldered by the character, and grabbed him to tell him off about it. ?Hey, buddy! Why don?t watch where you?re g?? The man never got to finish his sentence, as upon looking into the eyes of the hooded man, he lost his power of speech. He then grabbed his throat and slowly sunk to the ground, his face twisted in horror as he was slowly having his breath robbed from him. That...and his mortal soul. The hooded figure?s gaze never left the man until his eyes glazed over and he slumped to the ground dead, strangled to death and soul taken from him. But the man would have no marks to indicate it to the coroner, as the hooded figure had not used his hands to commit the crime. The figure looked down at its simple victim for only a matter of seconds after it was done, then went back to the task before them, leaving the man to be discovered by some other pathetic human. The figure only walked another city block before reaching its destination. He smiled slightly, his eyes narrowing slightly. The eyes the man whom it had killed had had to look into while he died. Those blood red orbs that swam with all the souls it had collected over the milleniums that had passed, which now contained his. It chuckled quietly to itself as it jumped into a tree near the place it had traveled so far to come to. The place where its plans of world domination would start to come together? Domino High School. [center]Chapter 1[/center] Yugi and Joey sat in their classroom having another duel just for fun whilst Tristan, Téa and Bakura watched. Yugi was winning the duel as usual, but only by a slight margin. Joey truly had become a better duelist ever since he and Yugi swept the Duelist Kingdom Tournament so long ago, and he only continued to get better over time. It was currently his turn and he was confident that he had the duel won. The field consisted of Joey having one card face down in one of his Magic/Trap slots on his field. Yugi had his Giant Solider of Stone in defensive mode, his Dark Magician in Attack Mode and one card face down on his field. Joey drew a card from his deck, and smiled ruefully as he looked to Yugi. ?Heh, take a look at this, Yuge. Sorry to say it, but it looks like I?m gonna win this one, bud.? he said smugly. ?We?ll see, Joey. Make your move.? Yugi replied calmly. ?Okay. You asked for it, Yuge,? he said pulling a card from his hand. ?I play Last Day of Witch.? ??Last Day of Witch??? Yugi asked quizzically. ?Yeap. It?s a Magic card that allows me to send all the Magic-user monsters my opponent has on the field to the Graveyard. Say buh-bye to your Dark Magician.? Joey replied smiling. ?My. That?s a pretty powerful card, then.? Bakura commented. ?You bet.? Joey replied. ?And that?s not all I?m doing this turn. I?m summoning Yamadron in Attack Mode, and powering it up with my face down card, Salamandra. I think I?ll use it to take out your Giant Solider of Stone.? ?Wow, Joey. That combo would take him out too, if I didn?t have this Trap card waiting for your Yamadron.? ?Wha?! You had a Trap card waitin??!? ?Yup. My favorite one, Mirror Force! That sends any attack launched at me right back at you, so that would destroy your Yamadron and switching my Stone Solider to Attack Mode will take your Life Points down to zero. I win.? ?Aw, man. She?s transferred here from the Mid-West, and will be staying here in Domino from now on.? With that, the door opened and a girl walked in. She was slightly tall, and cut a slender figure. She had long, white hair that came all the way down to her feet and had the end of it tied with a pink bow to match the Domino school uniform for the girls. She was very pretty and had the palest blue eyes anyone had ever seen. As she walked to the front of the classroom, the gaze of almost every boy in the room followed her, but none more so than Joey and Bakura. She stopped right beside the teacher and bowed respectfully to the class. ?Good morning. My name is Rayne Misaro. I?m actually from here in Domino. I moved to America when I was ten, but my parents decided to move back. It?s nice to meet you all.? ?Do any of you have questions for Rayne about her time in America?? the teacher asked. Instantly, the hand of every boy in the class went up except for a few. Joey was practically jumping out of his chair to have his hand raised higher than the others to get noticed, which was what caught Rayne?s attention. ?Umm?That guy with his hand raised really high,? she said pointing to Joey. ?Heh. Uh, where, uh, did you live in, uh?? he stuttered. ?Where did I used to live?? she corrected him. ?I lived in Ohio. It was an okay place to live, except in the winter. It gets really cold, like ten below. We got a lot of snow too, but I like the snow, so I didn?t mind that so much. But I?ve not only just lived there in America. I?ve been everywhere, plus I?ve been on almost every continent in the world. Um, the guy with the white hair in the back,? she said calling on Bakura. ?How?s high school different here than where you lived last?? he asked. ?Well, one thing is that most high schools over there don?t require you to wear uniforms. Only vocational schools and private schools do, but there are a few that require it that are public, mostly elementary, but some are high schools. You can usually wear anything you want as long as it follows the dress code.? The class was surprised by this as hardly ever heard of a high school that didn?t require uniforms, and some seemed jealous of the fact the kids over there didn?t have to wear uniforms day in, day out. The rest of the morning was spent asking Rayne questions about the town she lived in, her favorite color, what music she listened to, and more intellectual questions asked by the girls of the class, like if she?s ever been to the nation?s capitol and such. By the time all the questions had been answered, it was time for lunch. All the kids filed out and the boys made an instant ring around Rayne, asking her whether she?d like some of his lunch or if she wanted to go out sometime by some of the bolder ones. She shooed them all away when they got outside, but not before she received five phone numbers and refused to give hers out at least twice as much. She sat on a wall to eat her lunch in peace while all the boys watched from afar. This included Joey and Bakura, who were staring at her intently while Yugi and the others tried to snap them out of it. ?Hey, Joey. You?re going to burn a hole in her if you keep staring at her like that,? Tristan said. ?Yeah, the same with you, Bakura.? Yugi commented while waving his hand in front of Bakura?s face. ?I?m sorry. Indeed, Rayne had left her seat on the wall and was walking over to the group of friends. Joey and Bakura instantly turned a brilliant shade of red, much like cherries. I?m so happy to be back in Domino. It?s been a really long time. I?m glad my family decided to move back and stay here from now on. But I came over to ask a question. Are you the Yugi Muto that won the Duelist Kingdom ?Duel Monsters? Tournament?? she asked. ?Why, yes, I am.? ?And I came in second!? Joey added. ?Wow, that?s great!? she said excitedly. ?So that must mean you?re the ones I?ve been hearing so much about.? ?I guess. You know we all play, but only Joey and I have won anything from it. Another boy in our class, Seto Kaiba, he plays as well.? ?I know all about him. The former Champion, holder of the only three Blue Eyes White Dragons in the world. He was the one you beat to begin with. That really started your career, did it not?? ?Uh, yeah, I guess you could say that.? Yugi responded. ?Well, I was wondering if either of you would like to duel sometime, but I guess I can extend the invitation to all of you. I?m quite the avid duelist myself, but the place where I used to live hardly had any duelists.? ?Sure! That would be great. I?d be happy to have a duel with you, Rayne.? Bakura said happily. ?Me too! Me too!? Joey piped in. ?Of course we would. In fact, why don?t we go inside and have a duel now?? Yugi suggested. ?Yeah! That would be nice,? Rayne agreed happily. They all were going back inside when a basketball sailed over their heads. Joey noticed it and watched it hit the ground and started rolling away. A kid asked for some help, so being the nice guy he was, Joey went to go get it. ?I?ll be in there in a second, you guys. Just going to give that kid back his ball.? ?Oh, okay. Hurry up, Joey.? Yugi told him. ?Sure thing, Yuge,? he responded. Joey ran after the ball, which had rolled through some bushes. As he went through, he saw the ball under a tree. It was cradled in some roots that had grown above ground and sat there. Joey trotted over to it and picked it up, noticing the tree for the first time. ?Huh. I?ve never really looked at this tree before. Lucky it was here, otherwise this ball might?ve went in the street.? Rustling from above caught Joey?s attention. He looked up expecting to see a squirrel or something, but whatever it happened to be was being blocked from his line of sight by the tree?s leafy canopy. ?Maybe it?s a bird or somethin??? he mumbled trying hard to see what it was. That was when a hooded face broke through the leaves, and stared back at Joey with its blood red eyes. Joey stepped back in shock and dropped the ball. The figure dropped down from the tree and began advancing on Joey. ?Joey?.Wheeler?? it said in a raspy voice. ?Who?What the heck are you?!? Joey yelled steadily backing away. ?You?will come?with me?? ?Wha? No way!? ?You have?.no choice!? It lunged at Joey and latched onto him with unrelenting power. Joey struggled hard against the figure, but the grip was too strong. Joey punched his assailant in what should have been his stomach, but only met a hard surface that he almost broke his hand on. The figure in return scratched wildly at Joey?s face with sharp claws and accidentally ripped his jacket. Joey, realizing the guy really only had a good grip on the sleeve of the jacket, somehow slipped out of it and began to run off, but the figure?s eyes glowed crimson and Joey stopped dead in his tracks. He was lifted off the ground being surrounded by a red light and floated back the hooded figure. It pulled out an envelope and threw it on the ground on top of Joey?s torn jacket. It then grabbed Joey and began to levitate with him. ?The pharaoh?will come?for you,? it said darkly in its raspy voice. ?Then?it will?begin?? With that, there was a brilliant flash and both the figure and Joey were gone, leaving only the torn jacket and the envelope behind. The envelope, which the figure had been careful to check to see that it was not damaged before leaving, had a message scrawled on the front of it. It said: ?To Yugi Muto??[/color]

[color=royalblue]Usually when I'm on my break at the library, I'll pick up the latest copy of WWE magazine we have to see the cover article. I've gotten into ym here lately. I also used to be subscribed to Beckett Pokémon Collector and Beckett DBZ Collector, but it ran out and I never renewed it. I pretty much lost interest in them. I'm considering subscribing to Animerica and Shonen Jump here soon, though. The news and other things can help me do research for the website I'm about to start writing for. ^^[/color]

[color=royalblue]I used to like that show. The drawing is very nice. The only thing about it I don't like is that you made the eyes a little too small. Almost all of the characters on that show have big eyes kind of on the wide side that take up the top half of the face. And Li tends to do that barely noticable scowl thing a lot. The hand looks a bit off kilter, but not much. I think more of his palm should be showing and a little arm as well. Try to put more folds in the sleeve too. The other hand cradling the blade looks slightly out of proportion, but you can't really tell unless you look hard. Other than that, it looks very nice. I give it a seven out of ten. ^^ Keep up the good work.[/color]
